Belief is not reason, yet is stronger than reason.

Quoted from my Facebook memory. I wonder if I stole this from someone else, but if I did I'm sorry, or else I take this seriously. And that's why religion is one of the things we can never converse about among strangers. Not without reason though, because we base everything we say and do on them. That, with high bias. You think that will make of a better society? Think again.

The Entertainment News 2019 Edition Issue #4

What do you mean I only watch Anime and listen to five songs?? I'm taking all these seriously, people! Don't laugh at my hobbies!!

Oh well, no one's here anyways, and I like sh**ting on myself, so welcome back, nobody. *laughs*

...

*sigh* Let's start haha

アニメ Domestic na Kanojo
"Is this what you meant by you have adult things to deal with??" Yeah Natsuo, I guess. Yeah. Why not, right?? *drama intensifies*
I like how she says she doesn't do little boys and here we are. Looks like Hina-chan just does anyone who wants her. Thank goodness the friend doesn't know about it in the cafe or else... lol okay let's focus and not get distracted, yes? So many things to talk about in this new episode (#DomeKano03) I don't even know where to start. I know it's all centering around the one issue which is Hina-chan's relationship with her partner now, but spoilers first if you need to skip it: she's in an affair. Yes, it's those type in which she is not the wife. You get what I mean here now. Problem is that even when she got found out, she still insists that she is right, and explains it to the inexperienced and/or kids like they don't know what it means to like someone who is already married. Hey Hina-chan just not to kill your hopes again as another inexperienced, but normally these stuff don't go well. Unless you're assuming the wife will retreat, she's not going to let their marriage go without a fight. Not based on drama or real life experience, by the way. And you don't need to feel to know. So yeah, Hina-chan lived with that reality, when people around her actually noticed her life has changed from being her usual bubbly self to now worried about everything in between and depressed even. And that probably came to a standpoint when Natsuo decided (probably in the benefit of himself and also, being a stepbrother) to confront her about the stuff he heard from his friend who works at the nearby cafe. That, and Hina-chan taught him a lesson? Sure, who cares man. "You know I f**ked your sister, right?" *laughs* Well she doesn't know yet, so let's leave that at that. Ironically, Rui-chan decides to join the rebellion following Natsuo's departure from home, mistakenly believed by the parents as opposition of their marriage even though we're talking about another marriage that has pretty much nothing to do with this family until you notice Hina-chan's in it lol. (Wow, long sentences pro, me) The author did think of a backup plan in case this leaving of the house thing exists though, as Natsuo's friend was kind enough to lend some shelter for the two who left in protest of Hina-chan's relationship with a married man. All in all, it probably did impact Hina-chan more than the parents I hope, and whether that will change anything will depend on what the trio talked about at the friend's house that the two are potentially about to execute. I mean, dad, if you really want to talk about it let's talk about it. That's... the vibes I'm feeling for next episode haha. As a final word, I'm not saying Hina-chan shouldn't be with someone she loves, but I would argue that if it hurts you in the end it's going to hurt the people around you more. That, and the other woman in this relationship who we do not know of. Let's see where this goes then, Sasuga-sensei. You have made me very invested in this show with the drama drops and occasional jokes lol the friend MVP this episode
This episode we didn't have Rui-chan half faced so this idiot would do lol
Because this has been trending on Twitter and I like it too so... ara kawaii
P.S. That's jealousy? I think it's not really that because I'm just a caring family member who just wants to help you out in your relationship- I hope you guys breakup quickly so I can go out with you and make you happy lol <= not Natsuo
P.P.S. You told someone else who is in a different school about our relationship so that's okay? Haha Rui-chan you good girl you. Also, be glad he didn't tell the friend how much you were moaning in that- HE TOLD HIM THAT TOO?? KOROSU lmao
[Again, that end card... I'm gonna *** if they keep on doing this lol I wonder if next time will they show their v-]
Because I can't sex Rui-chan just yet so this will have to do hehe

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai
"Shirogane has showed great interest" I mean narrator-san you don't have to spell it out lol Miyuki you sick bastard
Going by the survey and that hentai doujinshi I read there's high chance it'll be Chika-chan who has done it among the three. I mean, look at the ending song lol. Okay, before all that let's talk about the new episode (#KaguyaSama03) which really shortened that intro so that I have no excuse to reject this so far entertaining series. Because why? They are talking about the stories we've been waiting for since the beginning. All of them. Let's talk about it. Firstly, is "the first time". I mean, I did mention this before but, Kaguya is always going to lose out because there's one thing that differentiates her from the others in terms of experience, and that is commoner understanding. Coming in from a rich family background, learning some of these may be prohibited to some extent, and so, can lead to misunderstandings or even segregation when the time comes for her to acutally put that knowledge into use. So yeah, thank goodness Chika-chan did explain to her what that means. *laughs* Yes, kids. It's just kissing haha. Although I would argue that many like me have not actually expressed love to their family at the least on this part, so yeah Kaguya-sama you're technically correct haha but it's not what everyone else meant so you lose. Secondly, a test about Kaguya-sama. Well, they didn't explain on how it should be played, but it's a good guess from Miyuki. Of course, if you didn't notice that 20-question yes-no game which shortened into half the length was just a plot for Kaguya to test Miyuki on getting him to say "is it me?" or anything close to it resulting in an indirect confession (not true because of last episode lol KABEDAN haha) so yeah Mikyuki was smart enough to evade it. Now that, I call it a brain battle. Truly lives up to the sub title of this series. That, and I think Miyuki probably has a better understanding of Kaguya's potentially evil but tsundere nature which will make him be more cautious of this rich girl in the future lol. Lastly, so sentimental a story even I'll savour it for ages. Kaguya decides to walk to school today. Well, she normally doesn't, and if not for that cat which she placed in the engine was in the engine in the morning she would have not done otherwise, but thanks butler for letting her go alone we'll reserve an episode for you haha. And of course, along the way things must happen for her to (1) be late and (2) not be able to execute her plan of seeing Miyuki on his way to school who is possibly late because why, the Student Council President cannot be late?? *laughs* So yeah, it's a simple story about a kid scared to go to school alone (OMG did you see that Yeti crossing the road?? For a moment I thought what would happen lol) and would love to go to school with friends. Things that Kaguya wants but didn't have. I mean, friends to go to school with. Not this time it wouldn't be. By some sweet coincidence, Miyuki spotted her, they both are late for different reasons, and Kaguya gets to fetch a ride to school on his bicycle. Sweet. So sweet I'm afraid I'll get diabetes. Good thing Kaguya is savouring it slowly every time she sees kids walk to school inside her car. But man, ain't that a lovely story. Can we end the series now? And make this into a short movie? Can we?? *laughs* Thanks again production for everything thus far, because I'm actually impressed and am able to understand the reasons behind all what this was done for, from the narrations to the plot advancement thus far. Not the ending theme song this episode though; you trying to sell Chika-chan for fanservice, Aniplex?? (Can see that A1 Pictures you're trying to test your newly designed 3D animation rendering, but still) (When you thought they couldn't top that opening theme song) Seriously though, this gonna be in the soundtrack? Haha this show is amazing
When you think your popularity has reached God status lol
When I watch porn watch gravure see someone not cover her skirt when she sits down lmao
P.S. Lmao they fast fowarded the intro oh so by episode 12 we'll be able to skip them all?? lol
P.P.S. Wow suddenly I know a lot about Japanese area codes lmao if this is how Shinomiya family operates Miyuki gotta back off because even I'll be tired every day after school/work at this rate haha
[I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS STOP IT CHIKA-CHAN haha I wonder how Konomi-chan is feeling right now you know she only does this for Anime, right? *laughs*]
It was then she realized...
... she can continuously wink without getting her right eye tired lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This week was probably the busiest week in Klassic Note for this month lol I need to listen to more new songs, and here we are. Really giving new songs. Hey, Apple Music Japan is good at recommending new songs from artists that I know. That, or I just listen to my past songs playlist and reminded myself to check on their new releases lol. We start with vivid undress new mini-album which was actually good due to their two topic songs, but then again I didn't get to hear the full album until the weekend (ugh why you all like that I got Apple Music man) and... I think I can give more. Hey, they are one of those bands I wanna give more Rock music on, no joke. Minase Inori's new single was okay, I liked the topic song for whatever Anime it's in, and... maybe not the B-sides whatever haha. Fuchigami Mai's new mini-album has been on the list for review since last year, but man was it hard to give a decision. I assume it was subjection from my side to give that one topic song #ForFanservice so yeah Mai-chan this one song is it. Not your fault, just saying. (I mean, she either sings hyped up Anime songs which aren't as good as Kawada Mami or it's this lol) I also gave Fujifabric's new album a listen which did not include that collaboration single from last year, but overall I gave one song which impressed me, on impulse. I'll do it. Desperation makes me want to "get it on" real quick haha

Next week I'll be reviewing a couple of things. Releasing on the week itself will be minami's debut single from the Anime "DomeKano" (see above before Kaguya-sama) (yes it's the abbreviation for the series) and... I hope I can give this single. minami-san, I want to give you songs. Don't rap the whole song through, yes? I'll also be listening to Tsuji Shion's best album to see if I can put it on my shelf (as of now it's a no) and SIX LOUNGE's first album from like two years ago and see if I can give something else other than their punk rock music. Their emotional songs are pretty good, which was what I gave last year on their latest mini-album. The recent slew of rock festival videos was the motivation for this one.

On Twitter this week in case you don't like following my Twitter because I follow two games which I like to join their retweet campaigns in lol, SCANDAL's new single is releasing in March following their shift to new label company under Victor (you don't have to know what happened anyways I'm industry veteran-speaking here), KANA-BOON is ready for another Anime theme song, and Aimer is releasing her 5th album in April, excuse me, albums. On other things not on Twitter, Asakura Momo's new music video preview is out, and... I mean, if you like her I'm not stopping you because the song isn't... I'll get over it during Valentine's haha.

Wow took me some time before I even finished writing the Klassic Note stuff above. Been watching someone play Resident Evil 2 for the whole day. 7 hour gameplay, by the way. And there's technically four playthroughs. Well, cya guys next week then, and hopefully by then I'll have the mood to collect red packets haha hey it's all for the pizza delivery order the three of us had just now hehe #NormalPeopleLife Is this what the Japanese refer to as "riajuu"?? I'm feeling it haha

The Entertainment News 2019 Edition Issue #3

Well, I'm back from a weekend company getaway and I stink now and I have half a day left before I have to go to work again tomorrow so let's finish this quick before I shower haha

It wasn't fun. I assure you. And I thought of watching the shows below at some point in the trip. I really did. It did not happen because I was too tired all the time lol

アニメ Domestic na Kanojo
"What are you going to do about that?" I mean, the step sibling thing or the sex? BOOM GOT HIM
So that means if I just sat there long enough I'll get kissed? Then why the rush? *laughs* Okay on the super dramatic cliffhanger that left us literally hanging, in this new episode (#DomeKano02) we got a new transfer student? Really?? In the most stereotypical twist to any Anime storyline, Rui joins the school Natsuo is in because it's nearby their common accomodation. That's it. And... she kind of got some friends thanks to him too, so... yeah, forget about the sex, yes? *laughs* (Seriously, I thought there was going to be a second round in the bathroom but that was Natsuo's imagination lol) More importantly, we got some more insight into Hina-nee's affairs, namely whatever is going on with her boyfriend. I mean, if it's not obvious enough to you, it's not going well. And yes, we are likely going to reach the point of Natsuo being the substitute real soon (I'm not saying that it's impossible), but for now Hina-nee is keeping it mum. Whether that is good news or not, I'll leave you to think about it. Suffice it to say, it has to reach a conclusion at some point, which we will see soon I guess. All in all, Hina-nee sucks at cooking (how you gonna be good waifu?), Rui may become best girl by the end of this season lol (I mean, you saw how great she looks from above? lol) (I never thought I'll say this, but for once I wanna sex an Anime character haha), and we kind of have enough premise for this to be a harem. Hey, we need more accidents in this series so that we can get to the level of relationship between Natsuo with Rui that is of her to the sister too hehe WHAT, I CAN'T BE IN THE SAME BATHROOM WITH ANY OF THE TWO?? *laughs*
This is the most suspecting face you're gonna see Rui in this series lol
(If Diomedia is doing one every episode I'll do this every episode I promise)
MFW I didn't catch the conversation, I'm not interested in it AND I don't want to reveal myself to others
P.S. "If I cause more trouble again, I'm sorry" Natsuo be like "I'll be in your hands" haha (Edit: I WAS RIGHT LMAO I LOVE THIS SERIES)
P.P.S. I know it's only me, but man is it irritating that Hina-nee keeps reminding me of Horie Yui instead of her actual voice actress Hikasa Youko. I mean, their nicknames are close, but still.

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai
"This past half year was wasted because he wasn't using LINE" This past half year was wasted because he's a fucking pu-
"I'll change my profile picture in three minutes" Wow I didn't believe this would have much impact as fast as me cooking a cup of instant noodles but man, Shirogane, you just blew my mind haha. In the new episode (#KaguyaSama02) of this narrator-heavy series (I know, I'm forgiving it and you should too it's for comedic effect anyways), Chika-chan continues to remind all of us - especially the two of them - how fast time flies when you don't do anything about it. It being that confession. Or well, driving a confession out of each other, but still. We start of the episode strong with Miyuki getting a smartphone? Just remind me again but WHAT YEAR IS IT?? *laughs* Again, another wonderful scheme from Kaguya-sama to make sure he gets it, but again it's the problem about how they can get each other's number, or mail address as they call it in Japan. I know, it's hard, right? I mean, as fellow club members it's as easy as opening a WhatsApp group (ask the kids today so see if I'm right), but for these two it HAS to be tough. Well, mainly because someone hasn't changed her phone yet lol. Then, there's the summer trip plan. I know this is supposed to be the work of the Anime production itself and not thought out by the 2D characters themselves (lol breaking the fourth wall here, me), but yeah we're stuck between going to the mountains or the beach. I'll skip my argument for the mountains because someone's so weak he can't swim AND he's scared of bugs (I mean, I'm more worried about bears lol), and instead go to the argument of having a potential beach episode in the future. I know about what a rich girl can stack onto that poor guy to make sure he has no way to escape that choice as she can get everything covered (lol the manual) (you're reaching a very high creepiness level, Kaguya-san). Yeah, it's going to be the beach after all. I mean, beach as in b**ch because Kaguya forgot the wildcard. The joker from the opening animation. The only other female in the student council who has a larger rack than she has. *laughs* Yes, you know who I'm talking about. So yeah, and suddenly their decsions changed. Like, copying each other's reasons changed. It got changed even more when they noticed just how Chika-chan is interested in the paranormal. Like really, what do you normally do outside of school? I feel like it's that one Inoue Orihime but not on food and worse haha. (Can we get a Chika-chan focused episode, please?) (And no we don't need a beach episode for that haha) Lastly, there's the love advice. As much as Shirogane Miyuki can't keep his ego up as much as his appearance of being experienced in the love field (#Genius #Baka btw), this guy literally lied through a session of someone asking him about a confession. Yeah, that situation to which he hasn't done it at all yet. (Deja vu, anyone?) (Just another reminder half a year has passed and NOTHING has happened to those two btw) As much as Shirogane is totally mistaken about love antics and observations (Kaguya was most likely right about that Kashiwagi girl on that guy) (Kashiwagi MVP this episode btw real cute girl there haha) (yes, voiced by Mocho), he was somewhat honest in front of others even though we all know someone was eavesdropping behind his back. About that, Shirogane you didn't notice Kaguya behind the door quick enough. I'll take that as a confession two episodes in, guys. We did it. It's over. Kaguya is happy now with that one kabedon. Just the one. We're never going to get another one as close as this. *laughs* (How can he not hear her scream though? Or was that for our ears only? Haha thanks anyway) All in all, still funny, please cut down on the narrator stuff unless where necessary (The "Umi versus Yama" bit was pretty good, I'll give you that, but otherwise the intro was really long), and I really need more Kaguya-sama moments. I feel that she (Koga Aoi specifically hehe) can make me like her more before I accidentally make a Chika-chan GIF every episode btw ONE GIF COMING RIGHT UP lmao
I know we're getting the beach episode, so... can we have a mountain one too? hehe
Didn't expect to see confusion to be perfected, but here we are. *laughs*
P.S. REALLY?? THIS IS GOING TO BE THE F**KING INTRO EVERY WEEK??? Ugh Aniplex you disgust me (Edit: DID I DOWNLOAD THE WRONG EPISODE??? Oh I didn't so wtf)
P.P.S. I would like to emphasise to you, Kaguya-sama, that you can just collude with Chika-chan and you'll get everything. Bento, phone number, a confession... everything.
["You want to be my what?" <= Me when someone talks love using astronomy lol]

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
I'm going to be really quick here since I didn't spend much time listening to songs over the weekend. There's that theme song for some local drama (which is in Chinese) that I'm interested in which will get into the list once I can find out which album it belongs to or not lol, I finally got to review yanaginagi's best album and I ended up keeping the one who almost got accepted because I thought the song was weak in general. I'll probably give it maybe haha. Amamiya Sora's new single is a major disappointment as I literally took it to compare with her previous single back in 2017, and it's far cry. So yeah, next time Ten-chan; it's not your fault, by the way.

Next week brings us that cat music video song which is the mini-album from Fuchigami Mai which will also be my first release reviewing from her and hopefully I'll get something out of it besides that cat song maybe, and Minase Inori's new single which for once doesn't sound as bad as her past three singles and beyond lol. Ugh, I really need more mainstream artists to give me new songs. Nope, I'm not looking at you THE ORAL CIGARETTES you already disappointed me with that Anime tie-up.

On Twitter which I'll leave you to click the links from my profile page (actually I may just do that Moments thing and it'll be easier for you guys), Hanazawa Kana's upcoming album next month has got like half of Sony Music Japan's artists writing for her including Chatmonchy, we're getting another single in March from KANA-BOON, Numakura Manami's 2nd album topic song from the preview isn't all that bad, I suddenly jumped into vivid undress a couple of days ago which reminds me to listen to their new mini-album which should appear next week (oops should've listed it above) and I still can't stop listening to that Anime Kaguya-sama opening theme song. The ending song wasn't that great, by the way. But halca-san, I may just give you this time around. Second time's the charm, they say.

Okay I've rope burn on two of my fingers and typing now is quite a pain so I'll wrap up for now. Cya guys next week and I promise I'll write more next time. Until then... don't travel. It's boring as heck and you can't do the things you like mostly. I mean, even sleeping until I can skip hotel breakfast? I JUST WANNA SLEEP!! *laughs* *yawn* Have a good night I had a good one though hehe the resort's only 4-star and it's Batam so not that good tbh

Sunday 13 January 2019

The Entertainment News 2019 Edition Issue #2

Wow now that I look at the Anime reviews below I have real good impressions for the first episodes apparently it's been a long time since I wrote this long of a paragraph Kaguya-sama haha

OH LOVE ME MISTER~ OH MISTER~ haha okay I better stop

And yeah not revamping this place just yet I can't think of anything new because I've been reading up on CSS design styles and seeing what I like. No, not Blogger themes. I can do coding myself. I don't need no template haha the stock ones will do

アニメ Domestic na Kanojo
"It kinda just happened" Hey, you know how many guys wanted that to happen even once? lol
Okay in Natsuo's defense it really just kinda happened because he really had NO IDEA until he like what, reached the girl's room? *laughs* The first episode (#DomeKano01) of this series which would require some background from my side before you think why not watch "Koi to Uso" or "Kuzu no Honkai", is so good I have to shelf half the quotes I want to comment on this episode alone. *laughs* Okay, background first. It's author Sasuga Kei's latest work which got famous real quick (21 volumes of manga to date, Jesus) and turned into an Anime, probably thanks to her first work "GE - Good Ending", which I would probably compare to at this point as both stories are rather similar but the circumstances for this one is a little different, and probably more accepting to more as a drama plot. So, let's talk about it. The story mainly revolves around three (I'm excluding Natsuo's friend lol) people: Natsuo is the main guy, Rui is the girl he had it with, and Hina is the woman Natsuo likes. Hey, liking a teacher isn't abnormal, people. It happens to every other Anime lol. Too bad Hina is not interested in little boys yet haha. Hey, give him 5 years and he'll be an adult, I assure you. Problem is, he is technically in a relationship done it with her sister already, because she was just curious the one time and now cannot get the man to forget about it. I mean, if when they did it she was like dead meat it probably wouldn't have left too much of an impression, but still. *laughs* (She did say she doesn't know anything, and the guy's a virgin, so...) (And that's why you find those who at least did it once but not like, once every week lmao) Okay I'm drawing AV references here already but as you can see, the show has many premises to make jokes on lol, but more importantly, to talk about plot development. The only thing I can foresee which would turn me off this series is the flashback of the probably full sex scene that I'll have to watch to understand why it was bothering Natsuo that much. (I mean, it's just sex) And that, I'm not really looking forward to. (Again, for Anime I would like to watch content that is as pure as possible) Besides that, the show is light-hearted, there are many more characters alive besides these three (you know you suck when your dad can pick up a woman better than you lol), and I'll be ready for more. This type of shows are uncommon for my tastes, but I'll give this ten times over "Koi to Uso", just so you know. Because I just feel this one was more palatable, and I'm not referring to someone's pu**y lol okay but seriously I need to stop with the sex jokes
This is the happiest face you're gonna see Rui in this series lol
[LEGEND] Left: The author, Right: The publisher
P.S. "I'm going to your room to search for dirty things!" And then she finds her sister there lmao
P.P.S. "No way! Fujii-san's kid is Fujii-kun?" lol sensei stating the obvious well then again it can ONLY happen in Anime, right? *silence*
[On a final note, I would argue that this show has its charm in terms of plot and cast (I'll take Yocchan AND Mayachi any time of the day) and I'll be staying to watch whatever drama happens]
WTF is with this end card title?? Also I would like to know who this lady is hehe
(Thanks to Sasuga-sensei it's this cosplayer)

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai
"I went to all the trouble of fabricating a prize and putting it in Fujiwara's mailbox" I see we have a winner haha and I don't mean Chika-chan
But seriously if you thought this was a brain war between geniuses it's not. All of them are idiots, the two of them. *laughs* And I'll be darned if this isn't a romantic comedy series because without that narrator and because I saw the first chapter of the manga I would argue that this show's momentun might be hard to follow. Well, this is more like from the first part to be honest, but after that I can get the drift. Maybe it does take a genius to understand this series lol I wonder how people got into this school. Chika-chan MVP this whole series btw; I said it here first. *laughs* Okay let's talk about what happened. In this first episode (#KaguyaSama01) in the more than slice-of-life student council room setting, we sit three people: Kaguya who is the main girl, Miyuki who is the main guy, and Chika-chan the bi*ch the middleman who will make or break this potential couple. I say "potential" because these two just have so much pride that they will never confess to each other. I know, start another series but let all the lovey-dovey stuff happen and we'll have a better series than "Tada-kun" lol. Of course, this is not going to happen to any extent for now as the two battle their wits on each other (which we'll talk about how effective that will be) to see who can get the other to do it first. Heck, if you do this strategising openly who the hell will confess? Just so you know, by the way. Now, the real story. First up was Chika-chan who happens to have a couple of tickets to a movie screening which according to her will get a couple close together so she can't watch it (let's go, Chika-chan hehe). Miyuki starts serving first, but both end up getting hit by the referee who left with the ball. Manjuu, I mean. *laughs* The exaggeration in the animations of thoughts on both sides are seriously extended this part I assume for effect, but as first time round watching and of course being spoiled on the manga it does feel slow. So yeah, don't read the original work is my warning to you. Moving on to the next one (I'll talk about the origin of the tickets later), Kaguya-sama got a love letter from an anonymous person. Of course that is going to piss Miyuki off, so he tries to stop her. Heck, even bringing out the "I'm going to tell teacher" card (nice elementary school flashback btw lol) (totally necessary imo haha) right here, but the girl doesn't care. She is going to make sure the guy will give her that stereotypical call which she so desires but which he will never deliver (Hint: It's called "Don't go") (oh yeah they animated that haha), but ended up not getting any because Chika-chan chipped in. *laughs* Now you know why this girl will be MVP? You know the show is good when you can predict the outcome lmao. Lastly, it's the lunch, and it's #NotKoufukuGraffitti lol. Okay now I can talk less about pride but more on the legit differences between the two. Namely that Kaguya-sama eats the food that one Seitokai Yakuindomo racked girl eats too, and the other two in the room are commoners who happen to be smart and come to this school, bringing in their own lunches. Hey, for this one I disagree with the verdict tbh because Miyuki guessed the girl's thoughts totally wrong and if Chika-chan did not offer her friend (I don't think they are now she's just downright insulting her) (okay maybe lol) (NOT THE CHILDHOOD FLASHBACKS haha) that one octopus weiner (*looks at own crotch*) Kaguya-sama may end up crying in her bedroom lol. As I said, we're NOT going to get all the happy endings in this series because the characters themselves hate it. Besides Chika-chan, she wants it bad. *laughs* All in all, great show to stick around if the opening theme song wasn't the weirdest match I've heard in years (sorry to the guy who sang it and Ikimono's Mizuno for writing this I forgot you write these kinds of songs too didn't expect it to be in this show though) (please halca-san may the ending theme be good next week lol), and I hope now that we have first episode to warmup the pace of the show in terms of brain battle can speed up just a bit. Or just make them smoke out of their heads that's fine too haha. As a final note, it would seem to imply that Kaguya-sama will be the loser in most cases since she is technically weaker in heart and will have to arrange stuff (the tickets) as a rich family's girl (the food) in order to bring herself down to get someone else to confess to her? It's going to be hard, Kaguya-sama. I hope you're ready because I am haha
That is Level 4 Inception right there, idiots. *laughs*
Now I know why they have to point that out so blatantly lol
P.S. "We are talking about Shinomiya who usually passes her time looking at me" I had to listen to the VA to confirm the subtitles weren't wrong lol #Narcissism (I think I did the confirmation thing multiple times this episode to see if the fansubs are joshing me lmao)
P.P.S. This may be a very seiyuu technical question, but wouldn't Ten-chan (Amamiya Sora) based on her real character in front of the camera, be the perfect person to act Kaguya-sama? I don't know if Koga Aoi is a genius, but... (Edit: On second thought you're good too Aoi-chan haha) (She's in a 3P?? I see I must have left you out because of the other two... *laughs*)
[Commemorating the start of this series which I will probably stay in, here's some Kaguya-sama montage hehe (And it's not because I accidentally upload images of her btw)]
Me when I saw someone's lunch is better than mine lol
What got me to watch this series. This face. #TsundereAlert

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
"So she eats meat and stuff" lol they thought Hotaru-chan has a pure sweets diet. I mean how else can you raise that rack- Okay in the new chapter (136) the guys are trying to organise a sleepover in view of the winter holidays starting, and... Hotaru-chan decided to invite them to her place. Yeah. Well, her place in ths countryside because she doesn't live here, but still. It's larger than your average farm plot, which says something. Problem is everyone is expecting her to come up with some dagashi thing in the hot pot session to start their stay, and... it didn't happen. Well, it didn't happen till the end, of course. But yeah, even then it's all normal. She eats meat in hotpot, she serves Hajime-san beer left on her place since she doesn't drink (good girl, this one haha) and even brings out more meat since she's the one eating them all lol. But of course, as everyone thought of ending the session with noodles, Hotaru brought out - you guessed it - a dagashi. Hey, it's normal her again! What did I tell you, eh? Although I would argue her passion of dagashi is still there but hey, it's not the only food in the world haha *looks at Hotaru*
That feeling when anticipation fails expectation lol that's me with songs this week haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This was quite a week in Klassic Note, but I admit I didn't review the releases soonoer so my opinion might still be biased since I haven't given any second chances, but still. Kotobuki Minako's new single is fine, but nope it's not going to be on my shelf because of a disappointing B-side. And I had to ignore that dance pop tune (like, seriously) in order to give the topic song. Melody's what important, people. Aimer's new triple A-side single must be most overrated single in Japan right now since it's popular out there and not over here. Oh well, see you next time, Aimer-san. You're getting nothing this time round. I also concluded on a couple of releases I listened last week, so SHE's latest album got some songs on the list which are interestingly not topic songs, and yeah fhana's best album gets their latest song on my list. *sigh*laughs*

Next week brings us Amamiya Sora's new single which I haven't anything yet, and since this is the only release I've taken some initiative also since it's the start of the year to update myself on new songs, and I have found quite a few. Though Audioleaf brought me no new indie artists, I did get some familiar names back with vivid undress, Hata Motohiro, and... well it's mainly these two, and The Floor's new mini-album (and that's why I say must ignore music style because this rock band also gone pop ugh) and they are pretty good so I'll be sure to check those out. You may have seen me update my Twitter on these stuff earlier today.

On Twitter news, I found a lot to share, so let's see how much I've remembered to like so I can talk about it here lol. Anime "Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai" opening theme must be the most normal retro song I can give without remembering the reference lol, miwa is apparently overseas busking just like YUI for some reason, Kuso Iinkai is disbanding and ending it with a best album in two weeks (WHY??) (well I can guess why they aren't popular enough tbh), it is confirmed now that SCANDAL's new shift towards a private music label is actually under Victor Entertainment as they join the major label's rock festival (So they left Sony Music Japan liao? Very confusing now tbh), and in a direct comparison of Taketatsu Ayana's new music video versus Minase Inori's new music video I might just only review the latter. Sorry, Ayachi. It's the song.

I guess this is it then. If I forgot anything I'll blame it on my brain's constant thought of that stupid work I just received to end the week. I know, right? My superior must hate me lol haha not really lah my office is an amicable environment and is way better than many others already to be honest. Cya guys next week then, and until next time... God if I can skip every week to watch Anime now BUT DAMMIT WHY GOT COMPANY TRIP NEXT WEEK!!! *laughs* Well, guess I'll have to watch Anime in Batam then haha

The Entertainment News 2019 Edition Issue #1

Okay this week is going to be the most boring week here ever so I'll make a short post on this one. Also, I've not planned to revamp this column just yet until maybe next week so we shall see about that lol

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
The new (translated) chapter (135) things got real serious. Yeah, like asking about your past serious lol. Kokonotsu didn't understand the meaning of "mother's taste" and... I guess You-san is trying to avoid the conversation because the kid didn't have a mother now. She left the family, apparently. So is Hajime-san, who was instructed to not talk about it with him. Hotaru, however, has other opinions. Well, she kind of nicely mentioned about what it is even though I don't think that is it (imo mother's taste refers to her cooking if I'm not wrong) and also jogged Kokonotsu's memory a bit. Is the next arc about the mother? Wow now you're getting me hooked. Also, new season Anime material right there haha
TFW your wife left you and your kid asks such a question lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
I didn't do much this opening week in Klassic Note. Well, the opening week is next week so now I'm just finding songs to put in the new list for now to start with an initial set of songs, and SHE'S seems to be quite a candidate from the couple of artists I listened to just today haha. fhana's best album wasn't that interesting as usual so I might just give their newest song a chance if I'm in the mood. SHE'S and their previous album was okay, so I might want to give a couple. Some of them have the vibes from their latest single which made quite a scene in Klassic Note last year.

Next week brings us a couple of singles to start the year and Klassic Note, namely Aimer's new single, Kotobuki Minako's new single, and yanaginagi's best albums which I hope I'll be able to hear it firsthand on Apple Music. We shall see. Otherwise I may just rummage the Internet to make a cheap compilation myself without the new songs maybe lol. Or I can just listen to some indie artists while I wait. Been some time since I visited Audioleaf, to be honest.

On Twitter over the new year, many news were announced. Ikimonogakari announced their return with a new digital single to start the year, the Anime "Bungou Stray Dogs" got their theme songs confirmed (more concerned about the awesome new season) (happening next season though), NEGOTO announced their disbandment as mentioned in the Artists Evaluation post if you didn't notice and I hope they'll end with a release of sorts please, and many artists are included for review on their releases for upcoming months including SHE'S, FINLANDS, Hanazawa Kana, Natsukawa Shiina and so on.

That shall be it then. If you want to read more text or help me proof read lol you can head to the Artists Evaluation post to see how the artists in Klassic Note 2018 fared. Mostly not good haha. Cya guys next week then, and hopefully then I can ask Kaguya-sama out on a date haha you idiot if you don't I'll do it hehe bye

The Klassic Note Artist Evaluation 2018

Happy New Year, everyone. Yes, I know it's the new year because I can say "2019" without you scrolling all the way down this post and seeing I posted this yesterday because I won't I'm too lazy to do things after the Song Award Results already haha did you listen to The Top 20?

[Update: I WAS LAZY, OKAY?? And it's easier to tell myself to do this over the weekend anyways than on New Year's Day haha]

Just like last year, I'll be talking about three main types of categories of artists. They are namely:
  • Collection Artists: For those who have a footing on Klassic Note, have contributed significantly to the song count up till now, and have their own Klassic Note playlist of songs. More importantly, they have contributed to the song list over the past year. Examples for the year include miwa, TrySail, Aqua Timez and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION etc.
  • New & Uprising Artists: For those who have outstanding performance this year, have only been initiated in recent years, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include Yoru no Honki Dance, Yogee New Waves, Ryokuoushoku Shakai, THE ORAL CIGARETTES and wacci etc.
  • Newcomers: For those who have appeared this year, have done real well this year (in any amount) to be worthy of mention, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include SHE'S, Polkadot Stingray, Cider Girl etc.
Don't worry if you do not know any of them. This is precisely why I'm here to tell you what I think of all of them. Yes, ALL of them. Okay, maybe not all of them. Can't bring myself to criticise everyone. Still, this is going to take a while.
[LONG POST WARNING]

[I'll use the year number for all references corresponding to "last year" (2018) and "this year" (2019) or whatever. It's confusing in the past so this much mentions of years will have to do.]

COLLECTION ARTISTS
Chatmonchy: It's their last year as mentioned from 2017, and in 2018 they have one last mini-album to send themselves off. It was fine, it was different, it was very Ecchan (the vocalist) as usual. Giving them has always been a journey, from thinking that they're terrble to understanding their style and even to the lyrics today... it has always been different than others. You will be remembered in 2011, and you'll be remembered now and forever.

Aqua Timez: It's also their last year too, though this one came in as sudden news after they released their now last album, and officially closed their activities by 2018. I feel bad now. WHY ARE THEY ALL GOING AWAY?? These guys are the first I knew of, felt of, and loved. And now... they are gone. I felt so empty when they announced their disbandment, to be honest. As much as Klassic Note should be independent I feel that my reliance on them making Klassic Note, or at least what I thought was, is going to fade away in the years to come. Even then, I can't help but. Again, I'll never forget you guys, for you make the best of Klassic Note with your presence every year you're in.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION: Their best album bootleg collections have provided much insight into their even earlier songs which I ignored mostly, and many were added to my list. The album to end the year wasn't too shabby too, although I didn't give the most of their songs even in 2017, so 2018 seems like a cover, but a good one so I'll forgive them. I can feel their old style in their new album, by the way. No joke.

Sambomaster: Just one single, but makes all the difference. Thanks Sambomaster for the motivational songs as usual. Imagine what Klassic Note would be without these guys.

SID: It's just one release I gave a listen, and with this mini-album and their initiation to streaming media I felt that I can see the old them again, as in music style. And I'm rather excited to see them come back with more songs in the futre, to be honest. Prove me right, guys. You all have always been good all this while, just not good enough.

SCANDAL: Ugh, they have disappointed me. If you still loved pop music and maybe sometimes rock music then Rina-chan is 30 already so... *laughs* Okay jokes aside, but really, if you girls remind me of the days where people are writing for you songs? This really says something. And that is not good news.

miwa: Her best album and one single was just a start to giving her back songs, I assume. Her new song which I will embark hopefully with a disced release in 2019 hopefully will be better. miwa-san, you're not YUI, but don't be a letdown. You're falling behind everyone else, I must say.

SPECIAL OTHERS (ACOUSTIC): 2018 for them is acoustic it seems, as they tour the Czech borders playing light-hearted music which I liked, don't get me wrong. Once again, would like to see them come up with a non-acoustic album in 2019. Please. I'm desperate. *laughs*

Tomatsu Haruka: Her album wasn't that great, and the new single is seriously a disappointment. I don't know. They gave the good songs to the TrySail girls? lol

ClariS: Two singles and an album to end 2018 probably was quite a positive roundup for their year, and it isn't bad to say the least, well, the singles. The album was filled with experimental styles which I didn't give any of them. Sorry girls if I can't imagine you in any of the mature music styles, but I just can't. Your songs for Anime might just be good enough.

Porno Graffitti: I've come back to give them chances in 2018 for their two singles, and... I only gave one. Yeah, real hard there, guys. And guess what? Pokemon movie theme song. Turns out these Anime credits are the easiest to give songs from. Other than that... maybe it's just me not missing your music styles, to be honest.

Taketatsu Ayana: One single only. Not talking more here. Moving on!

Hanazawa Kana: Her new album in 2019 will be something to look forward to, but meanwhile it's not much. Two singles in 2018 would suffice, I guess. I did give the one early in the year with one of Ikimonogakari's composers writing for her though, and that wasn't bad. But did I say Noriyuki can write songs? Yeah the one for Detective Layton Anime was better. Haven't gotten around to watch the series though...

Kotobuki Minako: The album was actually quite a surprise, because personally I thought it was pretty good. Still not in for the music styles though; I miss Kotobuki rock a lot, I swear. Her new single in 2019 will not continue that trend, it seems, as I probably slowly drift away from her songs because people don't like Rock music. *sigh*

NEGOTO: #NEGOTORIP yeah, no more, guys. They are no more. New songs though? I doubt so anymore. AND I EVEN CREATED A MUSIC COMPILATION WAITING FOR YOU GIRLS TO FILL IT IN!!! *sob*

nano.RIPE: The duo is on a roll after their comeback in 2017, and in 2018 they released a single and album, and they aren't too bad, so that's good news. Looking forward to more good songs, guys. Don't let the band size affect your song quality.

yanaginagi: Yeah, just one song, so I thought I should mention her a bit. Her best albums in 2019 hopefully, will help rectify this short paragraph.

TrySail: They did a lot in 2018 with three singles, but guess what? Only one single on my shelf. Says a lot how bad GARDE GARNiDELiA can write songs for them for their single in June, and man is their November single a disappointment, so I just took the B-side, but still. Quite a rough year for these girls, to be honest.

Tsuji Shion: That was a good album. Period. Okay, a little more. I was dubious when I hear her come up with an original album without old songs in 2018, especially on such short notice while still producing good results, I must say Shion-san I'm impressed. Continue doing what you're good at man, and if your stay in King Records is permanent all the better. Hey, as I always say, staying in major music label actually makes you better in general. She might just need it to get more popular, and better too.

Kalafina: Just here to say bye. This group will be missed. At least you guys ended up with a "blaze" on your final best album.

...

KEIKO DID IT lol okay no own Twitter account jokes here please

NEW & UPRISING
THE ORAL CIGARETTES: They have done well to cement their presence in 2018, to be honest. Started with a single that I have no interest in UNTIL they come up with the album mid year across and now those two songs are the most played songs in their recent live and rock festival performances. If you haven't heard of them I suggest you give them a listen. These guys have easily proven they can do cool stuff while doing motivational and emotional stuff decently well. No wonder they are so popular. Don't stop in 2019 because I'm going to need a reason to put you guys on Top 20 again.

Yoru no Honki Dance: Only one single, guys, and they take the top. Honki Dance, never thought I'll say that, but you make legends. With these awesome topic songs, you're going up to Sambomaster standards real quick, but better. *wink* All in all, I desire more songs in 2019 after your album in 2017.

Goose house: Only one album, and I took two songs but one of them is from a single in 2017? Welp, cya guys in 2019 then. To be honest, I want more member solo releases. Some of them make different impressions not as a group, and I liked that solo compilation album from a couple of years ago.

LILI LIMIT: Well, I was expecting a big release but... the only thing big enough to make me cry is their disbandment announcement. Man, many artists leaving in 2018 making me real sad now. So yeah, that mini-album was it. Was that their last chance to prove themselves to the music label or their last experiment to the unique style of music people don't favour? Either way, sad to see them go, and I'll remember their songs by heart. Their move to major label was big, but it didn't last long too.

YUKI: I took some time to go listen to her recent best album and her latest single in 2018, and to be honest it wasn't bad. Turns out I did miss out a lot for not listening to her songs for the past 5 years as some of the single topic songs got into my song list. Maybe I should give her more chance; I kept thinking I'm not into her music style. Maybe I was wrong after all.

Amamiya Sora: Ten-chan did well in 2018, with a single and her 2nd album which was pretty good. That's as much as I can say though. It's still very impressive above many artists in Klassic Note for the quality we're talking about here though, so let's hope you'll get into the Collection Artists list soon, yes?

Asakura Momo: She surprised me with a single and more importantly, an album in 2018. The album was disappointing though, but hey maybe it's just me not knowing what to expect from Mocho's solo music career, unlike the other two TrySail members. So yeah, I just gave more love songs. Turns out the company knows that this might be her strong point, so she's starting 2019 with another love song for a single. Literally, they are selling her out to the public. It's good though, just do whatever it takes, I guess.

Natsukawa Shiina: This one surprised me even more with just one single in 2018. Despite being only the one and it's not on my shelf this time around compared to her first two singles, the topic song brought out so much impact I totally ignored the EDM style she was throwing at me which I actually disliked. (Refer to Uesaka Sumire for more reasons) So yeah, here to hope her first album due April 2019 will bring out hopefully more of her singing than her favourite music style because I'm not liking it. But I'm not rejective yet, for now.

Komatsu Mikako: She only released an album in 2018, second album under composers group Q-MHz and it still wasn't good enough. Hey, I don't know about them but I like Mikakoshi to give her enough songs doesn't mean it's good, okay? The struggle is real. Please, no more Anime-style melodies. She is not singing for Anime all the time. Well, I hope not.

KANA-BOON: Two B-side albums that I totally ignored because to be honest in KANA-BOON, I'm only interested in current them in 2018 than them in like, what, 2014? Whatever, we talk about what I gave. Her summer mini-album was fine so I took the topic song, but the winter mini-album released before 2018 ended was short of anything good, but I managed to pick up one song to listen, I guess. Not good enough, guys. Stop with the super long melodies again, as usual, and I may give more.

LuckLife: Let's see... two singles and one's a Limited Edition one? Seriously. They are still passable though, so I did give them more than just a listen. Still, not impressed considering it's also getting harder to get your songs to listen too. Your album... I don't know. I'll get to hear it someday? lol

7!!/seven oops: Yeah, they rebranded themselves after the departure of their drummer? Yes, and released an album shortly after releasing one at the start of the year, at the end of the year. Man, their compositions show no limits. Sadly, not Chatmonchy level good though, so yeah, it's really hard to give them new songs at this rate. Hopefully this shrinking won't stop them to release new singles or something or for Anime so I get to hear more of their ballad melodies, if that's still a thing in them.

Scenarioart: They took some time, but they left their label company to be independent. And they gave us a taste of what is to come in 2019 I hope, and that one digital single isn't too bad, to be honest. Maybe indpendent them will be better. Here's to more good songs from you guys, I guess.

Numakura Manami: Just one single in 2018, Nu-chan, and I think it's good enough. More songs in 2019, yes?

The Floor: This one I'm impressed. I thought my recent listen from them like a couple of years ago was it until I knew of them moving to major label early 2018. And man did they set things off strong with an album and a single later in the year. The album wasn't bad, and the single was once again showing off their music style. And I'm excited to hear more of them in 2019, I hope.

TWEEDEES: They released an album in 2018, but I wasn't impressed, to say the least. Their previous album was so good though. So yeah, just took one song so I'll mention them here and move on.

wacci: I'm deeply impressed by their album in 2018, many good songs in there, but few made it in the list. Still, really impressed on how far they got in releasing digital singles earlier in the year and ending off with an album. Once in a while wacci ain't bad at all, people. Perhaps give them more of a listen and we'll get more good songs from them.

Yogee New Waves: The spring mini-album in 2018 was impressive, but later in the year they released digital single one after another singing the four seasons, and that I just totally ignored because it really isn't as good as the album. 2019, guys. It's going to be better.

Coalamode.: Didn't last long on the album run in 2018, because I gave nothing on their 2nd full album, and only gave from their singles from 2017 to 2018. Maybe I'm not accustomed to their music or melody style just yet, so give me some time, yes? They could do better, to say the least. The vocalist voice is really unique to make an impact, as seen from the singles.

Tokyo Karan Koron: They released a mini-album in October, and that's it I guess. Still the usual them though, so I just gave a few songs and moved on. That's it. *laughs*

Kuso Iinkai: This one I'll just mention a bit since they've been in Klassic Note for a while. Their mini-album in July 2018 was impressive on that one song even they know it's good it's inside the rock festival performance. Says a lot about what you put as your topic song, huh. Still, with that song I remembered how great they sound, and I really want more of the in the near future. Stop disappointing me, guys.

Tsuzuri Zukuri: I went back to give their latest album, and yeah I can give a couple of songs this time around. Guess it was an on and off thing for them, to be honest. Normal songs sound great on them but they like to sing off-beat melodies really makes it hard to put them on the list.

GLIM SPANKY: These guys did well in 2018, following their rather late initiation in 2017. Two singles and an album despite not making much impact especially with the album, the singles did really well and are totally worth of mention, with all the credit and stuff. Unfortunately I guess it's still all down to melody as I see myself throwing off more melodies than get tired of the 70s rock style because their music style will never throw me away and never fail to amaze me, which is the reason why I listened to them.

ORESAMA: I guess they are fine in 2018, following their major debut in 2017. The album wasn't impressive per se but I did give a couple of songs, and the follow-up single didn't even appear online, so yeah, I can only give that much, I guess. I think they are good though, and their sub-par simple melodies will make sure I will continue to support them in 2019, that's for sure.

Ryokuoushoku Shakai: The band did well in 2018, bringing up their indie songs in the first album, and ending the year with a major debut mini-album, which is impressive by any means, to be honest. This one's really going up the ranks as one of the most prospective artists in Klassic Note, so you bet I'll be watching for them in 2019.

Uesaka Sumire: This... let's just say I want to give her album in 2018 a chance. "POP TEAM EPIC" was a challenge to give, and the rest of the album... let's just say the one time she got me is in 2017, and that might just be it. I'm just sinking into the EDM here as much as I can hopefully lesser than the melodies themselves so I can still be objective in Klassic Note here haha

Primary, ORESKABAND etc.: Don't ask why they are here with only one song lol

NEWCOMERS
SHE'S: This one may be overrated review, but I actually think this rock band putting in more piano is making this band as unique as their mission to write songs that girls would like. Nevertheless, they still created impact in Klassic Note with their latest single in November 2018 along with the first initiation of their most popular songs and that very mini-album, which I still think deserves a re-review. All in all, would love to see them perform more in 2019, and I can't wait to see what these guys have in store.

Cider Girl: In contrast, this one wasn't that impressive. After giving their most popular song from their first album, it appears that's the best they've got for Klassic Note. Really sad, as I anticipate for the second album only to walk away in disappointment and not giving any more new songs. Something must be missing in them, or I just don't like their melodies enough. Seriously, could be better. Covering their image wouldn't help much, to be honest.

Polkadot Stingray: Ah, this one. If you know them and think why this idiot took such a long time to even mention them in Klassic Note, here I am. *laughs*

Niitsu Yui (Neat's): Okay placing her here is meant as a joke but yes it's her and her debut album is... still the same, pretty much. I just wasn't in the mood to give most of the songs which are bumped up in production. No really, the melodies are pretty much the same, to be honest.

Survive Said The Prophet: I thought they started out strong when I heard them in Anime "BANANA FISH", but turns out their compositions may be more disappointing than I expected. So yeah, ending the year with a disappointing single sure took a damp on their review in 2018. But hey, not terrible though to be honest.

SIX LOUNGE: These guys do from conventional rock to hard rock, so I'm not surprised this one caught my attention immediately. Their new mini-album released end of 2018 wasn't impressive enough though, but I know these guys have the potential to do more. I'll look forward to that in 2019, guys.

Kuraki Mai: This one's a veteran in the industry, but not in Klassic Note, to say the least. Her latest concept mini-album in 2018 did leave an impression on me, so I can somehow understand why Mikakoshi (Komatsu Mikako) is all over her music, but hmm normally her songs aren't like this good, right? RIGHT?? I'll take notes for 2019, Kuraki-san.

FINLANDS: Hmm this one is an interesting one. I thought music videos on YouTube won't impress me, but turning off the video on this one this band has a unique vocalist and some hardcore rock music style which I can take a liking too, so the album in 2018 was nothinig short of terrible. However, it's not their best. Going through their music library and this might be just their best, because everything else sounds similar in some way, and without the more distinctive style I would love to call them the new SHISHAMO, which is not good, by the way. More good stuff starting with a mini-album in 2019, yes?

King Gnu: I was truly impressed by the one songs you guys provided for Anime "BANANA FISH", but after listening to your music library... I guess not. I feel for your style, but I'm not into it. Sorry guys, maybe some time in the future.

Endou Yurika: I just think she deserves a mention. The one song from your 3rd single is for you, Yurishii. You're never coming back, are you? I already miss your role in that Alternative Girls game already; your replacement was too cute to sound cool haha

Awesome City Club, Oohara Yuiko, Komagata Yuri, Ooishi Masayoshi, tacica, DENIMS, RUANN, TWICE: etc.: Don't ask how they are here just pure coincidence lol especially that last one

I'll stop here then. Artists I don't cover are either too insignificant to comment or just they're here to add to the numbers. That or I'm just tired of this and I need a break. Talking about breaks, Klassic Note 2019 will officially start next week instead of this week to give me a bigger buffer period to do whatever I want and find more new songs if that isn't the toughest thing to do every year lol. As of now? Hmm... SHE'S? And if I'm in the mood to give fhana's latest song from their best album... Cya guys soon I guess, and until then... *yawn* I think I've gotten enough of typing for the year haha time to move on I guess

The Calendar - From Significance To Idolism

Happy New Year, everyone. Welcome to 2019. It doesn't feel as much personally especially after you've done this like, 24 times. Okay, maybe not that much feels but hey, it does help with the feels if you add a calendar to the mix!

Yes, we're going to talk about calendars this time of the year! Why? Because in recent years I said "screw the boring standard calendars" and threw pretty much all physical calendars out of my room especially those from insurance companies (ugh) and instead buy what I like to hang them (or place them) in my room. Bear in mind unlike many otaku who fill their wall space with stuff, I only had this one calendar in my room to make myself sane and not... feel like a creep haha

So, just for purposes of nostalgia and self-gratification, here are the calendars I placed in my room every year from the year 2013. Yes, I had to buy them the year before and send it back home because they aren't bought easily at your local stores unlike those free gifted garbage lmao

With that aside, and I'll explain a little on what I picked every year too, so let's get to it!

2013
Yes, it's a poster-sized calendar from popular manga and Anime series "BLEACH". At this point it has reached the final arc of the manga, and I thought why not give it its last chance under the spoilight by getting one of their calendars and putting it in my room to show how much of an Anime fan I am? (Well, it's only this for now to be honest) And so I did. I spent quite a lot of money not on this calendar actually, but on the shipping fees to bring it here. As I only knew of that disaster of a shipping service that is vPost from my country (yes you can go find out where I live I don't care) (besides, I mentioned it before, and on Twitter) and thank goodness this one did not disappear unlike the one in the following year as seen from my Facebook post about it (yes I show this off to my friends who probably freaked out at this) (every year, yes, every year...), and it looks great because of Tite Kubo's original artwork, so I did not regret this purchase one bit. Now you see why I had that mission to want to put a calendar on something I like every year now? Haha yeah

2014
Ah, this one had an interesting story for both its past and at that time, so hear me out. When I was a kid (yes, I was) I was brought frequently to the local library to find books to read. Not being a literature guy, I went to the comic section, and like any other non-Japanese library I'm filled with mostly English comics, from Garfield to Snoopy to whatever superhero comics that I'm not interested in that my friends are into now lol. But, there's one that stuck with me, and that is Patrick McDonnell's "Mutts". This guy has been drawing daily comics (a three-panel one, his website has examples if you're not clicking on the link on a Sunday) (no guarantees though lol) since 20 years ago in 1994 (with respect to buying this, of course) and they are simple, light-hearted, and sometimes give some meaning. This is because the story is about a pair of pets - a cat and a dog named Mooch and Earl respectively - and instead of fighting like dogs and cats always do, they talk about animal stuff, even though deep inside they are very human. I immediately caught onto this reading their yearly compilations, and as I grew up I followed their online presence as much as I could. Reading daily comics via email since... 2006? Yeah. Following their stories, living the adventures... but it wasn't until this that I truly took a step out to support them. Before this order, along with the calendar in 2013, I bought a couple of their merchandise, most notably their T-shirt with the dog on it. So the following year I took it up a notch and... here's where shipping screwed with me. Not in timing because I bought it early. November to be more precise. And that took a long time to arrive. It was eventually sent back for various reasons which made me order a second time (likely without refund, but I didn't chase after it because shipping business is already risky in itself) and it did arrive before the year started, so that's good. So yeah, this was the first recognition of my interests as a kid, and I'm glad to have done it.

2015
Hmm this is an interesting one. Normally I thought I would have found this somewhere from my Facebook posts but no, I can't find any evidence lying even around my room. I swear, I searched for it. Why didn't I buy a calendar for the year? I wonder. I would like to assume that I can't find anything good that is Anime-related and Mutts probably proved to be disappointing and in the end I didn't buy one. I do recall not having one throughout the year though. As to why, I have no idea to be honest.

Moving on!! Haha

2016
Unlike the previous year, instead of not getting anything I chose to get another of those wall calendars from Mutts again, and so I did. Funny how I didn't find anything on Facebook so I swear I didn't just take photos of this calendar minutes ago and place it on this post haha. Instead of quotes this calendar now features a character introduction with each flipped month moving on, and I think this must be the best thing I bought if I have to introduce my childhood to others, should the day come. (I haven't yet, so...)

(No, I'm NOT going to re-take all the calendars today and provide higher quality images. You know how troublesome it is to unroll that BLEACH calendar? Seriously...)

2017
Ah, this one is an interesting move. I suppose you guys know of my interest in Anime, and specifically, my interest in their real world counterparts instead of their 2D roles, also known as voice actors or seiyuu. Even more speifically, voice actresses. Yeah, you can see where this is going haha. So one day I told myself "I should support them in some way that doesn't require me to put their solo debut CD on my shelf for Klassic Note Review", and so the second wave of capitalism came into this room haha. On the table calendar which was really weirdly designed (suffice it to say it looks like a bunch of papers inside a dissected CD jewel case and feels cheap) was the one and only Komatsu Mikako, who was known BY ME, mind you, for roles from 2012 to 2014, if I didn't remember wrongly. Since then, I've been following her on Twitter (hehe) (@KlassicNote was not because of this) and what was interesting is her "interaction" with online fans for tweeting her images of her calendar, month after month. Did I decide to join in the fun so I can get replied by her? No. But I did want to make myself feel like I'm involved. That, and that wave of buying stuff from her newly opened online store, brought me a whole of stuff from photos (bromides) to an event pamphlet (which I wished I went, to Japan) to this, the calendar.

Okay that's a lot of words to be honest. Not going to bombard you of my love for... ah MOVING ON!! Haha

2018
Following the streak that is the limit release of what I could put in my room for a calendar (haha) (seriously, there was), in this year I took myself to catch a coincidental release real quick. You may have heard of me mentioning about actor and gravure (oops) model Baba Fumika (don't mind the weird leading family name, she didn't have a choice either) as I probably mentioned her a couple of times ever since I knew her in 2014 from... you guessed it, gravure. Since then, I've been following her around to see what she did and yes I know the gravure stuff is great (*fap fap* haha) but more importantly as she continues to garner more fans also for her acting, and on this particular year they decided to help her release a calendar based on her latest gravure collection, if I'm not wrong. And so it was released on November, and knowing this must be it for the year back in 2017, I took the pre-order approach and slapped it on my wall. Oh and since 2016 it was easy to ship things from Japan so that wasn't a problem, as the package came in early December, so it had to wait a month before I can... show everyone on Facebook what it is lol ugh I have no shame

WHY NOT XXX?
At this point I would like you think not about why I didn't choose other people I liked as my room calendar but think about why I chose that are now part of my room. Due to many reasons than other (availability, time of year, type of calendar) I typically go for larger calendars to make an impact, and I avoided school calendars in Japan (starts from April to March the following year) to not confuse between when to get another calendar and to avoid overlaps. So yeah, Isobe Carin, not on purpose, dear girl. They will get their chance some year ahead. Maybe.

*drum roll*

And the calendar which will accompany me for the following year ahead is...

2019
If you're unfamiliar, let me introduce. Along the lines with Komatsu Mikako I thought of which idol whom I knew (haha) that I can put in my room late last year, and since no one else were releasing calendars early (come on Futon-chan you know I don't go to comiket) I ended up choosing someone who has a regular release of this stuff every year. Hey, I did think of holding back, but who cares, and so voice actress Uesaka Sumire shall join me in the year ahead. She caught my attention around 2016 with her Anime roles and then music career which as of now even I'm into that "POP TEAM EPIC" song. Yes, that one. I chose her mainly because there isn't anyone else I know of who will release a calendar near November and December 2018, that's it. Okay, that and because I thought that I should repay back for the many days of wonderful selfies she has provided us online, along with her regular stylist Sano Natsumi) Those excuses aside, she does look great with all the... cosplays of "animals" (according to her blog, the first one was of a unicorn for some reason) throughout the year I'll get to feast my eyes on (her rack) (haha). What's different this time is, this huge wall calendar is actually a tear-away, so I gotta do this every two months too. And it has not been easy. Tearing off the cover page just earlier on already took me some time. And I'll forget this two months later and have to do this again lol (Note to self: Get a ruler and hold on to the binder tightly while tearing) but most importantly, now I got a voice actress with a rack in my room haha (yes I have to mention the occupation because Fumika-chan technically has a larger one I think lol)

Okay that's enough creeps. I'm freaking out seeing my friend gathering opinions on which girl to choose on this mobile game already, and I don't feel comfortable around that myself, so I better stop haha. I'll continue to do the Artist Evaluation and will post earliest by the end of today, or else by the weekend because I HAVE A JOB NOW haha cya guys around
