If you don't want to be condemned for life, you better keep all criticisms to yourself.

Yeah, you're right. I got insulted again. And NO ONE INSULTS KLASSIC NOTE! No really, that's not the point. Besides, I'm the one being secluded about my perspective on music (others are just popular music addicted) so I won't say much. And being a citizen of the world I've learnt just to be accommodative to popular stuff and avoid them when I have to. Besides, interests today don't have to be shared. It's not like life without internet and everybody's interests can be the same anyway. I'm not complaining, but still.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #5

And... I'm done for the week. Happy Chinese New Year everyone. As usual, I spent the (calendar coincidental) weekend outside, so I am smart enough to do most of the stuff before the holidays come. Nonetheless, I'm done for the week (Sangatsu no Lion was just before this), so let's get started.

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Man, I like this new episode. If this episode (#ACCA03) doesn't entice you to watch everything else, no other episode will, I promise.
Wow so many things to say, what shall I start with... Uh... Firstly, the Director General (let's refer that hunk of a woman as this then) and her meeting with Jean. Private, I forgot that word. "Private". She talks about the rebellion to him without telling him he's a big part of the rumours, but that's where he probably started to know about it, I guess. The rest of the episode focuses on the Dowa Kingdom itself, and the supposed assumption of power of the only Prince to succeed in the old King's position. I mean, with the potential up-rise here I don't think *Mayuri here is going to get his position to anyone just yet lol. Also, Jean is also given the whole other half of the puzzle by one of the Great Five so now he knows why everyone in position is staring at him with mean eyes. That being said, I wish to know more about what may just happen, but going that the big one is planning big using someone else as scapegoat and hiring his friend as a spy, I see ourselves a big puzzle to solve. I'm going to enjoy this. I trust myself on this.
(*If the word "Mayuri" confuses you, the King in this Anime has the EXACT same voice actor as mad scientist Kurotsuchi Mayuri in Anime BLEACH. I don't need sources to confirm. Go check it out if you don't believe me.)
P.S. Again, the sister for MVP this Anime. As any friend of Speedy Gonzales would have said otherwise "everyone is in love with his seester" haha (Okay maybe I got it wrong, but still)
And here's some fanservice for you folks out there.
No wonder Jean doesn't want to quit haha
(I'm not into older women, but still)
P.P.S. I mean, I would like to imagine myself having a private meeting with someone like Aki-chan (older than me by a fair bit), getting a request and probably getting drunk and naughty afterwards. But hey, this is not Kuzu no Honkai, so no. *laughs*

アニメ Kuzu no Honkai
Wow, wow. Another episode, huh. Man, I don't even know. Not about love because this show is full of it.
This new episode (#KuzuNoHonkai03) and possibly my last talks about that friend of hers. Hanabi's friend turns out to have the likes for her too. Damn these relationships are complicated. However, the friend here, Ecchan, is here to challenge the fake relationship that is between Mugi and Hanabi, and that would turn out to be a challenge itself, if you understand what I mean. The second half briefly talks about how Akane, the woman Mugi likes (not with a hard on unfortunately, that was that senpai) is actually going out with someone else? Hey, if it's kept a secret, then I take it as a yes? Wow, everyone in this story probably did some weird physical contact at some point, the exclusion being that loli childhood friend of Mugi, I suppose. Damn, this show is real complicated. On the other hand, the story I like, the progression I'm fine, but it always irritates me that I have to watch any physical contact even though the message can be delivered just as well without doing or saying it all. With obvious scenes such as dealing with a hard on (the girl would just run in other shows) and two girls sleeping on the same bed (it'll always be on different beds, the other laid on the floor), it's no wonder this show focuses a lot on body contact. And this isn't even the real life drama which I'll definitely not be watching.
Yeah, they don't have spare beds and Hanabi's room is the size of a wardrobe lol
P.S. I'll let you guys know if I want to continue this next week. I need some time to clear my head and think if I want to consider this as my next step in watching Anime.
P.P.S. Why? I just don't get it. A lot of scenes in this show can just be replaced by something assertive, and not need to be done in the manner of "oh this senpai took me as his playboy" or something like that. I feel rather offended having to watch those uneasy scenes, making this show hardly have any rewatch value. I don't know... or is it time for me to grow a dick? I don't think so. I just want to watch a show about romance, and I swear, dear author, there are a lot of ways to make it look as deceit as you want it to without that much body contact. Because I don't understand why every sad story of love must be one that is offset towards other people who you relate to when you have sex! This show is in that manner really ridiculous, in my opinion. (Honestly saying they don't care because this is a late night show, but still.)

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Hey, it's another episode. Not that I'm getting bored, because slice-of-life I'll take more. Just... not another shougi match. Not another two more.
This episode (#3Lion15) talks about the aftermatch, you know, the match that Kiriyama lost and now has to watch others play. Well, that's not really a problem considering the teacher has let him go watch it in the hall (lol the miscalculation) and that it was as exciting as I will never understand it haha, but still. I guess this was quite a watch. Less on that, we got to hear more opinions, more confessions actually, to why Nikaidou wanted to help Kiriyama so much. It's no surprise because we've heard it before, but from his perspective to understand somehow why that is his motivation... I would say you can compare to (if you have watched) KimiUso, which I would like to call "passive motivation", because it's as indirect as it might have been, and that it still had much impact that it should have been on the boy. Heck, it even got Nikaidou out of his life and decide to join a life of shougi. Kiriyama obviously doesn't know of what impact he has on other people, really. On other things, Kiriyama didn't get beaten up by Gotou because he's not dumb enough to help that b*tch which coincidentally Shimada and Nikaidou got to witness. Will this help in anyway to resolve anything? Only Kyouka will know.
Someone please explain why Nikaidou (right) looks hyped?
I'm with Shimada; Gotou is a lucky piece of sh-
P.S. Really, imagine if Kiriyama were to be her partner instead, like, somehow, if he confessed love at some point. *silence* Okay, I was joking I don't want Kiriyama to die haha
P.S. That Kyouka's voice... (Inoue Marina FYI) sounds really, REALLY like Komatsu Mikako. No really. But then, if Mikakoshi was a b*tch... *laughs loudly*

漫画 Boku ga Boku de Aru Tame ni
Really, you don't need to know Japanese to know this xD
I'm reading this entirely in Japanese because I like Sana-chan too much. Okay, no. It's because of an interesting story better than Isshuukan Friends (One Week Friends if that is more familiar to you) that I have to read Matcha-sensei's new work. Till now I've only read the first chapter, chapter 10b which I can't remember much of (above image) and this latest one. Okay, first things first. It's titled as so because there's one and there's another, coincidentally who looks exactly the same and without glasses you thought the author is being lazy about the drawings lol. The one with glasses is Shun, who transferred school 7 years ago only to come back to the same school as Sana, the main girl. Ayumu on the other hand has been classmates with her for a year when they both entered high school. At the first chapter it seems that blunders may happen, there is set up for confession of childhood friend at some point (that is... Shun-kun, yes), but in recent chapters has become what I expected it to become: Sana getting confused about her feelings of any of them if that glasses were to be taken off. So in chapter 12 Shun (with the "megane", image above) braved the rain for his childhood friend, and in chapter 13 Ayumu (it's Shun without the megane) caught her classmate in his arms from a staircase fall. If you need me to blatantly say it it's effectively the same guy, but it's driving the hell out of her already. Now you know why I want this translated. Or I can just read it up. A chapter takes me about... An hour to finish, haha.
"megane" = glasses in Japanese. See, I said I know the language. Allow me to demonstrate.
(*I'm definitely not going to be surprised...)
Clone friend troubles, ladies and gentlemen.
FYI the guy here is Shun without glasses
Damn, I can do scanlations. But firstly, all words in caps, I guess? This looks like cheap scans haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Okay, this week finally has some things going on. fhana's new single was kind of disappointing, and aligning with my motto for Klassic Note this year (yes I got myself one haha) I'll only give on first impression, so that topic song does not count. This is different for their B-side though, so I decide to take one so I can remember their greatness. No really. It's been some time. ClariS new album is pretty okay, but I guess I'm already out of league for liking their songs, so I just took a couple anyways. I'm not so keen on their pop music already.

Next week is the glorious three-album review week (namely THE ORAL CIGARETTES, negoto, sphere), so my ears are going to get tired real quick. Ore Ska Band's latest album also surfaced (Apple Music was useless lol) so I'll be sure to listen to that once the holidays are over. On other things, previews from SPECIAL OTHERS new collaboration album is coming fine, Ray - the one who sang Anime theme songs - is going to be on hiatus soon, Kuso Iinkai and Chatmonchy are coming out with new releases (not soon, but still), and if you have been following my Twitter (chances are you don't) then you may have missed amazarashi's new song preview. In full. For 24 hours. Yeah. It's the real deal. You just... don't get to hear it now until it releases in another four weeks haha

This is it then. I want to sleep more so badly. Yes, more haha. Cya guys next time, and until then... And you thought you want Fujimiya-san from One Week Friends to be your friend. Now I want Sana-chan to be mine haha

There is no better time to do anything anyway, so why not just do it.

Probably what I hope of romance to me as of right now, watching that TrySail music video about infatuation and stuff. But hey, it's either you love for no reason when you are you are young and have nothing to lose and let people shape your personality or have everything including personality and be rejected by every other personality that is out there. That's pretty much love, really.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #4

Oh I haven't typed the intro? Who needs it? Okay, I better tease you on it then. It's not NSFW.

See? Some already turned away. They didn't see the "not" word. Then again, everyone would have already turned away because I'm boring and my reviews probably are too. *sob*

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Hey, another week, another ACCA. Damn I shouldn't say that, but there is development, even if it's not that significant.

This new episode (#ACCA02) talks more about the potential rebellion within the organisation, and the big five have also heard of it. Jean apparently is the (un)likely accomplice/mastermind of whatever sort, but besides that we don't know. They have requested an undercover spy to check on him on their behalf, and guess what? It's his friend who he's known for decades. Oh well, who better else? Anyways, from my perspective I believe it is unlikely, but then again who knows? There's potential for a sabotage, there may still be people to help him (like that woman superior he keeps bumping into at the same bread shop) along the way, so why not? Also, the sister is cute. *laughs* And I'm not some rookie who cannot pass the ACCA test. I'm not even there anyway.
More shocks at their best (in animation quality lol).
The agriculture there reminds me heavily of Nagasarete Airantou haha

アニメ Kuzu no Honkai
Well well, look what we've got yet again.
This episode (#KuzuNoHonkai02) talks about (yes, one more to go lol) Hanabi-chan mostly, and how she sees romance. Apparently not so much, and somehow described by her classmates who want to consult her on romance, she has a very similar situation as someone else. But instead of hopelessly loving someone who she has stuck with for a long time (unrequited, of course) she chose someone else and in some sense "betray" her feelings against someone she really love. Hey, I may not be a professional here, but I'm at Hanabi's perspective and like "I'm the one who chose the Senpai path!" kind of thought right there. Nonetheless, things get real complicated considering two other people in the... I don't know what shape you want to call it. There's a childhood friend of Mugi who thinks can get in the way of the "real" couple lol and there's the other who is into girls. Nothing wrong with that, but if you watch the cliffhanger at the back her crush is on her girl friend Hanabi. Girlfriend by next week probably lol
The girl who asked Hanabi for advice.
Which would you choose? Honestly, I'll take the right, as a man haha
Damn, I really wonder I'll even continue watching this show. As mentioned in Random Curiosity before I came here, I really hate the idea I'm looking away from the show. This doesn't even happen in the other two shows I watch this season. Sorry noitamina, may not be cut out this season after all.
P.S. Been looking at other references of this *fantastic* show in terms of the just on air drama series  (nothing but making out, if you get to watch it) and the original manga itself. I talked about the latter before, but I went on a few chapters after the first one. The story gets arrranged around a bit, but it's no difference considering the Anime actually quite faithfully followed all the makeout scenes anyway. Well, sucks to be me then, for I may just drop this by next week.
P.P.S. The theme songs though... I'll take some 96neko (pronounced Kuroneko) and Sayuri-chan, thank you.

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Hey, another episode of this show! Damn, makes my own depression far by comparison, really. *laughs*
This new episode (#3Lion14) talks about, you guessed it, his loss. Before he could get eaten up by the lion ahead (I see what I did there), he already lost to someone else before that. Nikaidou is unlikely behind all this, but seeing how Shimada can potentially help him in Kiriyama's future in shougi, we have a chance to see that depressed boy walk his own path. Then again, his depression of being along really kicks in enough to make his body retaliate, the teacher advised him about the workshop the opponent he defeated has opened, and we might see some improvement by then. Yeah, you're right, I'm being REALLY positive about this. After half an episode of sadness, we finally see some light, and I'd like to talk more about it. That's all. It's not like I'm a pessimist or anything like that haha
P.S. Two images this week, so show the exaggeration of one expression. Really, Kiriyama can piss anyone off. Besides another depressed person lol

漫画 Kuroshitsuji
And yes, we're close to yet another conclusion. You know I like a solved mystery.
This latest chapter (125) really talks a lot about the plot, after Sebastian allowed the news stand to just publish the photo out front. Also, if you want me to draw parallel differences to modern medicine today, please read up on blood types and blood transfusion. So, firstly, things we already knew that the Scotland Yard will take years to find out otherwise. There is an obvious lack of supply of a specific type of blood, and if you did learn some blood types you'd know the least amount of blood that exists in the world currently is now the AB blood type, which is likely also the Sirius type as mentioned in Bravat's terms. And if you need more without reading it up yourself, it's because blood type talk about proficiency and deficiency of specific types of chemicals inside one's blood, and AB just happens to be the one that has both missing (A and B), with O being the most common and most usable blood type. This has got to do with blood transfusion as mentioned by Ciel too as blood transfer has a rejection rate, and with a similar type of blood transfused the rejection rate will decrease. This chapter brings us to who finally needs such a blood supply, namely rich guests who are better off dead anyway, and Bravat has yet to reveal a special guest who needs it most, apparently. (Of course, he/she is likely Sirius blood type) Next chapter will likely be the conclusion I guess, and I can't wait to see that bloke fortune teller and his downfall.
P.S. Ah, did not notice people are selling off those stupid star accessories at the pawn shop lol
Pretty much sums up last chapter lol
I'll leave the story-telling details to Ciel, yes?

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Hmm, not much this week too. But next week... well, also not much too, haha. But there's the holidays, so maybe I'll get some music research going. Or I just open up Apple Music for an hour or two haha

Let's just talk about two singles this week then. Takagaki Ayahi's new single reminds me of a (I'm Singaporean btw) National Day Parade theme song about a decade ago lol, and SID's new single for the Kuroshitsuji movie was okay. Talking about the movie which airs in Japan this weekend, I wish I get to watch it already. The many spoilers on their Twitter account are seriously irritating. Haha I'm sorry if you've hit any of them.

Cya guys then. I've had enough of this boring week. Next week is definitely going to be exciting as I'm FINALLY going to start on my internship project, and only for half the week haha. Second half of course is the Chinese New Year celebrations which I will no doubt be... I don't know. I'm not in the mood for anything right now, actually. Until next time everyone. Until next time.

Wednesday 18 January 2017

I wonder if anyone would think that overseas experience may be a conversational topic to be avoided because it's never a concensus?

Okay, maybe it's just me. But thinking just logically, there are people who cannot afford an overseas trip, and digging on it with others kind of gives a segregation from the start. On my personal opinion, there are people like me who do not desire to leave for further exploration. And there's these guys. What do you think that makes me feel? Yeah, that exchange guy is just good lol

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #3

Yay! I survived first week of work! Then again I did practically nothing but what I did in university which is studying, so that's not good news. But I think I'm ready, or I better be. I don't want to be viewed as a noob in any way. Even though I am. No seriously, I have literally zero experience in Java programming. Not even in school. Haha don't tell my co-workers, yes?

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Japanese vocals backed by English rap? Hitting the jazz pretty hard, I see.
Okay, this show. Let's talk about it. Firstly, not just the first episode (#ACCA01), just everything about it first. One - The animation is terrible. Yes, as my sis said it. Then again, it's very reminiscent of an Anime made by the same guys (Madhouse) going by the name of Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei five years ago. So, I don't mind. Two - the story. If this show doesn't entice you enough, consider military grade successful ruling (only happens in North Korea and nowhere else lol) turned peace due to an internal inspection department recently worried about a coup d'état (I actually had to Google it) and decided to not disband the staff? You've got something else coming. Three - The theme songs. You may not like the opening song, but you should like the ending song. So soothing I think I'll enjoy it soon. Meanwhile, I'm basking in the style of this jazz music for the opening, so don't ask about the tastes of Klassic Note because this one goes in the line of "unconventional but I like it" type of music haha. All in all, I'll continue watching considering they left such a cliffhanger right at the start. Jean has a lot of things coming behind him. I hope his lungs are ready.
No really, that much smoke bro. You're gonna get lung cancer sooner or later.
The best image quality yet. *shock*
Yeah, cannot extract those moving images too sketchy liao lol
P.S. Yuuki Aoi for best female voice in this whole episode (not the girl above), probably this whole show. But hey, I'm not here for voices. Aoi-chan is enough for me. *laughs*
P.P.S. I like how ALL the text in this "country" is done using Katakana. Like literally, this state's official language is romanised Japanese. Damn this show is interesting.

アニメ Kuzu no Honkai
Wow what did I just see... I don't even know how to start.
For those who read the manga, keep it to yourself. I know you're grown up already, so shut up. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to know of the three main things I got from this new romance show. First, it was more than just weird. It's sexual. Somehow half of this first episode (#KuzuNoHonkai01) is no different from watching a porno (which I had tbh), and it irks me. It irritates me because I wasn't here for any of that, thinking that mutual trust was built upon the illusion. Secondly, let's talk about the story. You're one of the main guys (male or female) who knew of another person who's crush is on your crush. Yeah, very complicated actually. And not exactly your usual rectangle love or whatever. Nonetheless, you know of that, and you agree to keep with the illusion by physically liking the... damn I don't even know how to explain. The origin story is weird. Really weird. Not that anyone else agrees, but still. Lastly, how this show is going to pan out. Typically affected by everyone else. We got a hint of secondary characters (that kid who wears good sports shoes for a three-legged match), and they may chip in into discovering or manipulating the illusion. Problem is it's rather physical, and I really wonder how far this can take besides the main two eventually being with each other, destroying the illusion.

The above is just honest, formal opinion of my own after much thinking throughout the episode. If you want honest stuff you're going to get it. Questions pollute my mind as I start watching this particular first episode. How did anyone agree to by a physical entity of another out of unrequited love? (Really, I wish it was THIS easy lol) Really. Next, THE MAKE OUT SCENE. You have been warned. It's totally rated the moment they started kissing before the opening theme and it's saliva coming out. I commend on you watching that scene where they just stripped the girl off her clothes and she was orgasmic throughout because either you've watched porn (and even for me I still looked away) or you've pretty much watched every other Hentai Anime that I don't watch. Then again, I appreciate the honesty of this show if it's originally like this, just... too much. They do this in the manga?? I would (not) like to see that scene. (I've only seen one chapter, but still) Then, there's production. Anyone noticed how this show is literally made like a comic? The advantage is literally that it saves on animation making, because it's mostly smaller images. And guess what? It doesn't really make of great animation effects considering you're watching animation. Yeah? So really, not a lot of good reasons for me to watch this... damn I don't even want to talk. On other things in summary, Anzai Chika (the voice actor who does Hana-chan's voice) sounds a lot like Hanazawa Kana-chan in this show thus far, and MVP Aki-chan for her mature woman role, really. She did pretty well this episode. It's a good start. Whether it is for me? That leaves much to be expected. If that is the episode that draws the kids in, then I'm fine. Otherwise, I may just quit if they start making out in the nearby hotel. Heck, they don't even need one. So much scum, it's pissing me off already.
P.S. It know it's long, but still. Theme songs are great, so I'll be sure to listen to those when they come out.
P.P.S. They must be TOTALLY BLIND and put on anaesthetic when they made out. I'm definitely not blind for doing that imagining of someone else. Never. Then again the guy is desperate, so I really wonder what the heck is wrong with Hana-chan, really. This show is weird.
A very good summary for this show.
The main two are behind the front two who they love.
You guys want a secret from me? It has been apparently (for a few years) my goal to find someone I could just make out with day and night. Not with the illusion though; It's really putting me off, this show.

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Hmm, this episode (#3Lion13) is about two shougi matches. Yes. If this game isn't your thing like me who doesn't watch this show for this part, then you might as well move on. Although, there are a few pointers we can catch on, just not Smith's life and "bad friend" (as I would like to call it) Nikaidou interfering with Rei's match. Problem typically means we'll see a predicted ending amongst all this complication. That confrontation without the violence is inevitable. Damn I hope this is not the ending to this season. Okay, the parts I picked up. Smith talks about how Rei is serious about shougi yet super-focused, which, if you did read previous weeks of me talking about it, is his strength and also his weakness. Also evidently shown in his own match, he is surprisingly taking on defence than attacking, which is just a way of hinting to us that he is scared of something. Well, you know. Who wants to get beat in the face twice, right? Anyways, the path of shougi is hard and long, so we shall see about it ourselves.
Me when I want something to reward myself but fate tells me to go home lol

And this week's winner is... surprisingly, ACCA. Underdogs always win, I must say. *starts dancing to jazz*

漫画 Acchi Kocchi
I read recently in my old blog posts (yeah I sure am bored at work lol) that I should continue with this which I didn't for months, and here I am. Original serialisation is at seven volumes worth of content, and follow-up has been as far as five. After reading only the first two volumes which mostly contained Anime stuff revised, I'm quite impressed. You may not find the drawing quality great because Kyoto Animation obviously bumped it up quite a lot, you may hear more lamer jokes and references, but all in all I really enjoyed a lot of it. The Anime itself may have shuffled the stories back and forth, the animation has been jacked up quite a bit, but overall the manga is still quite a fascinating read. Although my first impression is Anime (and I hope it's yours too because the drawing...), I still enjoyed reading everything again, as usual. I'll continue the rest of it hopefully by next week so it can join the waiting list haha
(I'll show speed reads for manga by putting one image per volume I read, just to keep it memorable)
Something from the Anime. Notice the character drawings. Just one of the random beatings from Tsumiki lol.
The one in the wall is (obviously) Sakaki haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Eh... what should I say? There aren't any releases this week, as far as the artists I am familiar anyway. I didn't also as far as go find new songs too. I guess this month is going to start dull, huh. I will try though, for next week. Apple Music isn't of much help anyway. Cocoro Auction's new mini-album was quite a turn-off, and LILI LIMIT's latest single somehow managed to get my attention more.

If you want something more in the near future (near as in two weeks later haha) there is ClariS new album (I'm ditching fhana for good now) and there's like all the theme songs for the three Anime I watched this week, so... there you go. A whole lot more releases but not this month, I guess.

Cya guys then. Yeah, Klassic Note one is short, but as I said, I'm starting low, hopefully reducing the number of songs I'll give this year. Damn, last year was an overload already. I don't wish to reach a point in this where I review too many releases such that, I start forgetting new songs which I give because I didn't give enough time for them to remain in my memory. That's essentially what it is back then. Hmm... I don't know. We shall see. I'm taking this against the 200+ artists I know releasing new songs every other week. Except this month haha. Until next time... another major holiday is coming where I stay, so that's good news to hear. Happy more holidays, everyone. After this it's going to be rough. No holidays ahead for a couple of months so I'll have to take leave at some point haha

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #2

Argh, having bad dreams every night now literally. Probably will change after tonight, but considering how little experience (or none) (lol) I have at work I hope tomorrow will be a good day. Or next week will be a good week. But in the world of entertainment, it will be. I assure me. *laughs*

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Damn this episode (#3Lion12) is starting out strong with YUKI singing the opening theme song, I must say. Okay, theme songs aside first, the story itself. Kiriyama recovered from his flu from like, two weeks ago (it let me wait that long, okay?) and now we move on to his shougi matches. We have quite a clear path to what is happening, and that Kiriyama's fate may be to face of with someone he has, I would say, a physical woe, in place. Don't ask me what he did to Kyouka to deserve him getting beaten considering Kyouka loves a married man and Kiriyama just got dragged in to this somehow I guess, but still. We'll definitely hear of that b*tch again in future episodes, so that's something to (not) look forward to. Other than that, I can see why Kiriyama must ditch the warm live of the Kawamoto sisters, but then again he kind of has a reason. Remember the last time he was accepted into a family and he ruined it? Yeah. That's what I was thinking when Momo wanted him to stay over at night.
I like how the author wants to make the poor kid get his cold back lol
Damn those word puns are forcefully bad. #throwback to Hatsukoi Limited for more
P.S. Kiriyama Rei may be too kind, but that is also his strength. To be blessed with people who will help him along the way. Like his stepdad, or Akari-san.

アニメ Winter 2017 Anime Preview
Also, this season Anime I intend to watch include (other than the above) ACCA (the awesome trailer theme song you don't want to miss) and Kuzu no Honkai (just because of Anzai Chika probably and how different a romance plot it is to that revenge one lol), both which are airing next week. Their source material manga have completed, so we will likely have determined endings to watch. This season in Anime is looking good.

漫画 Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
This new chapter (47) which I somehow had a peek when they mentioned on their Twitter that an online raw version is out, but hey, it's Colette-chan yet again! This time, the topic is recycling. For weirder reasons than ever, like "I haven't finished my drink" and "a poster of white space" kind of weird. Then again, she meets a familiar person who teaches her about some eco. That usual Colette makes me think how perfect Sumipe is the voice actor for her role, really.
Clumsy Colette-chan, or failed second prototype?
It's up to you to decide which is funnier haha

漫画 Nagasarete Airantou
And there it is. A monster. A youkai. I don't know what. But now I do. An ancestor is back. That doesn't sound like good news for the previous chapters up till this one (149) that I probably dislocated already, but still. Ikuto got his senses back, and likely the "old lady" wants to test him by kidnapping his two dearest females in his life. (It's like she knows lol) Well, at least, on this island for now. This might get a little interesting if I can piece the story together (damn scans took a long time), so we shall see that for ourselves.
Well that's a prank you will play on the Northern leader if you have guts.
Or if you're as good as this kid lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Well this one is going to be tough. I have not been listening to songs for half the week, there aren't any live performance sources I can watch from last year now (forum user RIP), so I decided to use Apple Music to some extent. As will be mentioned in another review I'll do in about two months time lol, Apple Music gave me access to many artists that I have not yet been able to just because the Internet doesn't like it. LILI LIMIT's new album came into scope this week, and I only gave one song, but I guess besides the topic song there are some good ones in their latest EP, so I'll give that a chance or two soon. Tsuzuri Zukuri's music library is now open to me, so I gave their previous albums a listen too. Goose house's new single which shall be the first release of 2017 (as of Klassic Note at least) isn't that disappointing, and what's better is that their new album is not far away too.

Which brings me to my next point. This month may not be much in Klassic Note, and releases will only start appearing near the end of the month and next month, but the good news is a lot of them are albums from artists I've been listening to for the past few years, which is no doubt good news. It may not be much now, but still.

Also, I've been playing games from Japan lately and one which had a theme song probably will be on my list soon. Hey, who can resist a good pop song, yes? I guess, but then again it's also because the source is available... I guess? Damn, I guess I'm not feeling right...

Cya guys next week then, where everything will be better by then. Until next time... I wish for my wait of time to be liberated. Soon. Really, it's just all me. I'm not in the mood to do anything. See? I can't even finish Chapter 16 as promised. Well, that one, I think I'm stuck. And I'll need a lot of thinking to see the story flowing logically again. I can't say much, but it's all a setup in a new arc, yes? See you all next Sunday.

P.S. I'm also considering preparing for Klassic Note 10th anniversary (if you've heard about it on Twitter) by releasing posts every week to talk about various stuff I experienced and have gone through these years being an audience in the Japanese music industry. I wanted to start soon but we shall see. We're not in a rush here if I want to write quality posts haha

THE OFF-NOTE PROJECT 2016: Songs That Didn't Make The Cut…

Yes, you're not in the wrong place. And no, it's not me trying to re-brand anything. Perhaps, it's the perfect way to explain these fallen tunes...

Hey, and welcome to that promised post. Every year I give so many songs, but there will be that many songs that I don't. Reasons are unlikely justified, but it gives me reason to explain to you what songs I would give and what I wouldn't, with or without restrains of any kind. Still, whether giving it or not that's how it works, and I think it's just as important to share it with you.

Also, I noticed the importance of some of the songs being reinstated to their decision state, and into the final list. Thus, 2.99 stars is no longer an adequate measure of what is to come. So, with a new title, let's talk about some of them.

(This time I will talk about prominent ones that I decide not to give, and how much it has impacted on my life ie. obstinate enough such that it wants to get back on my list but didn't lol. Those that did get back are not in this list fyi)

[In preview chronological order]
Single: Right Now
Artist: ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
  • Song Title: Right Now
Reason: I cannot remember anything from this song. Okay, just a little from the chorus.
Single: BANG!BANG!BANG!
Artist: Silent Siren
  • Song Title: Star drops
Reason:Weak verses, even though good chorus.
Album: FIXION
Artist: THE ORAL CIGARETTES
  • Song Title: A-E-U-I
Reason: If written more driven to the beats of A-E-U-I may be more appealing as a song.
(The above probably got stuck in my head for a while. They can write catchy songs but that's it, which is a pity. Also explains why I only gave B-sides of their singles this year.)

Album: Doubt no Koshin
Artist: Kuso Iinkai
  • Song Title: Fuzai Shoumei
Reason: If it sounds like the topic song of this album, then why the heck am I giving it?
Album: Origin
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Goodbye
Reason: Nice chorus, fails at everything else.
  • Song Title: Diver
Reason: Not because it's a Naruto theme song, but the verses are not good.
Album: Mi Kara Deta Uta
Artist: Takezawa Migiwa
  • Song Title: Arasuji
  • Reason: Melody was rather weird overall.
Album: S
Artist: Silent Siren
  • Song Title: Cherry Bomb
Reason: Weak verses, and especially if when you listen to the best songs the band has got, this is far from that.
(Same problem as THE ORAL CIGARETTES, I guess. The verses were really not memorable)

Single: Toumei na Onnanoko
Artist: Hanazawa Kana
  • Song Title: Toumei na Onnanoko
Reason: Not what I expected. Missing the days Kana-chan sings songs that sound impressive after much listening.
Single: Bye Bye Blue
Artist: Kotobuki Minako
  • Song Title: "YES"
Reason: Melody too generic to feel any form of impact, maybe due to too many out-of-place notes?
(From the above I believe that the Kotobuki Rock fever is nearly over.)

Album:Point.
Artist: Primary
  • Song Title: Hope
Reason: I get where they are going with this song, but the tempo maybe a little too heavy to be acceptable.
Album: Undertow
Artist: THE BED ROOM TAPE
  • Song Title: Hook
Reason: I gave it a lot of chances. It didn't seem to impress me, mainly due to lack of song structure and/or repetition.
Album: all time Lovin'
Artist: Toyosaki Aki
  • Song Title: Ginga Station
Reason: Second half of the song (after second chorus, not the first) was disappointing.
(Above is the reason why I can't never a perfect album. Sorry, Aki-chan. Wasn't your fault.)

Album: Cho Ikimonobakari ~Ten Nen Kinen Members' Best Selection~
Artist: Ikimonogakari
  • Song Title: Koiuta
Reason: Style of song too strong, thus lacking in appeal to me.
Album: TWELVE
Artist: Mrs. GREEN APPLE
  • Song Title: Watashi
Reason: Very irritatingly implied of love, though overall melody is good.
  • Song Title: Hug
Reason: Why the gay voice? It was a nice melody.
Album: D.A.N.
Artist: D.A.N.
  • Song Title: Dive
Reason: If not for the lonest introduction and weird voiceovers before the song itself this would be easy to give.
Single: Vision/Nijuu Rasen Kouzou
Artist: Kuso Iinkai
  • Song Title: AI
Reason: Verse does not align with chorus, it seems.
Album: What a Wonderful World Line
Artist: fhana
  • Song Title: Relief
Reason: English? Now this is sooo not going to be in list, despite the decent melody.
Album: heavenly
Artist: SpecialThanks
  • Song Title: KOKOKARA
Reason: I'd love to give the instrumentals, but that is as much as it is good at.
Single: ninelie
Artist: Aimer
  • Song Title: Speaker
Reason: Everything is good, but the vocals is not. Aimer is not suitable to sing this IMHO
(A real pity, this one.)

Album: Brighter
Artist: ikkubaru
  • Song Title: seaside
Reason: Sounds like QUATTRO, but not good enough.
Album: Sail Canvas
Artist: TrySail
  • Song Title: Ashita mo Hareru
Reason: For more reasons than other which this song resembles many but worse, this will not be accepted.
  • Song Title: primary
Reason: Sounds great, but melody is not uncoordinated.
Album: eve
Artist: cinema staff
  • Song Title: Kirifuda
Reason:Very poor bridge, rest of song melody cannot cover this portion of the song.
Single: Atarashii Uta
Artist: Hanazawa Kana
  • Song Title: Looking for your Smile
Reason: Failed at the bridge part of the song due to its over extended nature. Otherwise has good chorus and verses.
Single: Princess
Artist: miwa
  • Song Title: Shan Ran Ran
Reason: And this was an Anime theme song. No wonder it isn't even worth mentioning.
Single: Miss. Revolutionist
Artist: Taketatsu Ayana
  • Song Title: Miss. Revolutionist
Reason: Mostly due to versea and particularly bridge part of the song, otherwise is a good melody overall.
(The above also got stuck in my mind for a good time. I can still hum the chorus. Oh no, I better not)

Album: Tomatsu Haruka BEST SELECTION -starlight-
Artist: Tomatsu Haruka
  • Song Title: Circle
Reason: Verses and bridge weak, chorus is good.
  • Song Title: In Our Hands
Reason: Very good chorus, but verses are going to be the thing that'll stop me from giving this song from "Yasashiku Hibi".
  • Song Title: Koi no Uta
Reason: Mood of song is not expected and tempo of song is too slow. Decent melody though.
Album: U
Artist: UNLIMITS
  • Song Title: Lonely Blue
Reason: Poor bridge, and even after that only chorus is above average.
Album: Ren'ai Shousetsu to, Tsuuka Ressha to, 1g no Tameiki
Artist: Manami
  • Song Title: 25-ji no Cinderella
Reason: Many have tried this style, but have never gotten the melody right. This was a good overall though.
(The one above also is kind of a deal breaker. Maybe it's just me being biased giving the other two)

Single: Take Me Out
Artist: SCANDAL
  • Song Title: I want you
Reason: A little too simple in melody, and a little too high-pitched in vocals. Not to mention it’s technopop.
Album: Good New Times
Artist: Gotch
  • Song Title: Good New Times
Reason: Despite being topic song for album doesn't sound good in melody overall. Also, music style too.
  • Song Title: The Sun Is Not Down
Reason: General music style compelling. Melody of chorus is good though. English song I wished I didn't understand.
Single: cubic futurisimo
Artist: Uesaka Sumire
  • Song Title: cubic futurisimo
Reason: As expected, technopop is not a thing in Klassic Note. Also, bridge part is too long and inappropriate to song.
Single: DIP-BAP
Artist: THE ORAL CIGARETTES
  • Song Title: DIP-BAP
Reason: Chorus feels very different in mood to the verses and so on. Otherwise separately they are good.
Album: SHISHAMO 3
Artist: SHISHAMO
  • Song Title: Egao no Tonari
Reason: Mainly rejected due to melody, lack of emphasis of chorus and in rest of the song.
Album: Adan Ballet
Artist: Cocco
  • Song Title: Unohana Kusashi
Reason: Sounds similar to same album song "Yuushuu no Bi" in terms of melody
Album: Boku ga CD wo Dashitara
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Naimono Nedari
Reason: Song structure weak. Feels like listening to a segmented song. Catchy beat does not offset overall melody.
Album: daydream
Artist: Aimer
  • Song Title: Hertz
Reason: I rejected a smiliar tune and lyrics in another single earlier in the year, so this one will also have to pass.
Album: Life
Artist: plenty
  • Song Title: Kokoro no Mama ni
Reason: Melody is passable, but just barely. Not good enough to be give four stars.
Single: Wake up
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Weekend
Reason: Half the song is the other half of rap style that I didn't favour of the group. Verses are weak too.
Single: Juunigatsu no Himawari
Artist:  Aqua Timez
  • Song Title: Gift
Reason: The rap I missed, but not the rap melody I liked. Background beats are not as strong either.
Single: Yui
Artist: miwa
  • Song Title: On My Way
Reason: This song… it's not clicking in me. I feel the beats, but the melody isn't impressive enough.
Single: Reason Living
Artist: SCREEN mode
  • Song Title: Distance
Reason: Close to something good, but overall song is weak to give.
(So close, and SCREEN mode would have been on my shelf. Phew)

Single: Kaze ga Fuku Machi
Artist: LuckLife
  • Song Title: journey
Reason: Statistics show I will get bored of this song, and I have given quite a lot this year. So… no.
Single: Sakebe
Artist: Numakura Manami
  • Song Title: Koto no Ha
Reason: The bridge part is too hard to give, almost as hard as cinema staff's "YOUR SONG", or worse.
  • Song Title: HEY!
Reason: Very lively, catchy chorus, but then again this song doesn't suit her voice. So overall rejection here.
(Ah, this one. Maybe it's because of Mikakoshi I'm scared of giving Nu-chan her debut single)

Album: EXIST!
Artist: [Alexandros]
  • Song Title: Aoyama
Reason: Weak verses throughout song, bridge also weak.
Album: MAMI KAWADA BEST F
Artist: Kawada Mami
  • Song Title: Contrail
Reason: Too long of a bridge and occasional unsuitable pop sounds, but otherwise has good chorus.
Single: Million Litmus
Artist: Kotobuki Minako
  • Song Title: Million Litmus
Reason: Verse is poor, spoils overall good song including bridge part which is decent.

Single: TV Anime Kono Bijutsubu no wa Mondai ga Aru! Character Song CD Vol.1
Artist: Usami Mizuki, Colette, Tachibana Yumeko
  • Song Title: Aozora Canvas
Reason: Less than catchy chorus, weak overall mood even though have decent bridge
Album: Tokowaka no Kuni
Artist: Yuuki Aoi
  • Song Title: Rezetowaru
Reason: Like the rest of the mini-album, lack of instrumentals plus her less than perfect slurs make for less than wonderful songs.
Album: SHARE THE HAPPY
Artist: Miyawaki Shion
  • Song Title: #Doko Made mo Share ~girlyparty~
Reason: Weak verses and chorus, overall less than desired song
  • Song Title: Puchi Pura
Reason: Good chorus, rest of the song sounds like typical pop tune, so not giving due to unprecedented bias
(Yeah, the second one got stuck in my head for way too long, so much so I had thoughts of extending the song count even after I started calculating results and giving awards)

Album: OH! MY MISTAKES!
Artist: Tsuji Shion
  • Song Title: Horoyoi
Reason: Too simple a melody compared to rest of song, rejecting due to song count/extended tones in every verse (refer Primary album songs)
  • Song Title: Obake wa Kowakunai
Reason: Sub-par chorus, songs has many parts of speech than singing

And then I realised this took a lot more time for me to do up and it looked more confusing than last year. Also, if you prefer to use the search function on your browser start with artists first it'll give you a better chance. Then again, why would you? All these are trash. Go listen to the new songs this year. Or the best from last year. Now let me go sleep, please. This post is tedious to do, seriously.

P.S. Once again, sorry to all the artists and their songs mentioned here, especially if you wrote them. Unfortunately this is the only dark side to Klassic Note, and it's a necessary evil.

The Klassic Note Artist Evaluation 2016

It's getting later every year, huh. I know. I've been looking at my own posts last year for reference haha. Anyways, let's talk about it. Really, this is probably the most critical part of Klassic Note you'll ever see in wording. Besides that list of 2.99 star songs. Oh, I haven't post that long list out yet, huh. Then again, you should have seen it on Twitter. It's a long one.

As usual, I'll be talking about three main types of categories of artists, which are namely:

  • Collection Artists: For those who have a footing on Klassic Note, have contributed significantly to the song count till today, and already have their own playlist worth of songs. Examples this year include Aqua Timez, Ikimonogakari and Tomatsu Haruka etc.
  • New & Uprising Artists: For those who have outstanding performance this year, have only been initiated in recent years, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include Yoru no Honki Dance, Kuso Iinkai and nano.RIPE etc.
  • Newcomers: For those who have appeared this year, have done real well this year (in any amount) to be worthy of mention, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include LILI LIMIT, LuckLife and Miyawaki Shion etc.
I'll also take mention on an extra couple of artists who do not fit into all three because they have announced their hiatus as music artists, namely Kawada Mami and HOME MADE Kazoku. They get a special last segment as my final opinions of these two artists in 2016.

(Don't worry if you do not know any of them. This is precisely the place to tell you what I think of all of them. Yes, ALL. This is going to take a while.)

(I'll use the year number for all references in "last year" and "this year" or whatever. It's confusing in the past so this much mentions of years will have to do.)

==THIS IS A LONG POST. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED==

COLLECTION ARTISTS
Quite a lot of artists joined the ranks in 2016, a total of four new artists have fulfilled requirements to be regulars in Klassic Note and have their own playlist.

Aqua Timez: They've not done much in 2016, but what they have done is pretty significant. Their only single in 2016 is a total nostalgic trip if you're a fan of theirs (I am totally BTW) and their album is so close to Christmas almost every song sounds like an overseas trip lol. All in all, I'm pleased, but 2016 isn't the best year they had. So I'll not hold my breath for 2017.

Ikimonogakari: Their anniversary is up, and so is their new album. And you bet it's on my shelf. Giving them the thumbs up was quite a task as I try to find songs to give. I've not really gotten tired of their music style yet, because they have a lot more to offer and I search for melodies whilst liking their style back then already. On other things that will actually make me angry is their obvious (marketing) strategy of releasing an anniversary single which has a song from the best album. Oh well, that's not cheating anyway, so I don't really mind. On the other hand, it's a good year to catch up with songs that have been popular but aren't on my list yet, so I would say they've done their job in 2016.

Chatmonchy: Rather disappointing to have only one single, but it isn't without reason. They have been preparing to pair up again to do digitalised music instead, change of style I understand, and the one song I didn't give, but I don't think I'll be looking forward to them in 2017. Then again, as mentioned in the previous paragraph I don't stop because they start taking the electronic synthesizer. So, we shall see.

Rie fu: She continues her anniversary albums in 2016 with her second album for it "O", and it isn't really that bad at all. Her overseas adventures are rather fruitful as it kind of changes her music style a little bit, but then again this is also it too. She shows no signs of releasing new music as of thus far in 2017, but then again like Chatmonchy this is really spectator mode for me already.

sphere: Two singles in 2016, and that is not much, I guess. Their collaboration with HoneyWorks is rather good (as with TrySail too, will mention them later), and the newest may just be their best. Their new album will be released early February 2017, so I'll be looking forward to that.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION: I'll not rant much, but re-releasing your second album is not contribution. And not talking about the fact that I only listened to that one single because of an Anime, so that's even worse. I think I'm drifting away from these guys, and it's not really good news. I await better releases in 2017. Klassic Note 2016 has not been kind to this band.

VELTPUNCH: And yes, their re-debut album. I enjoyed it a lot, so that gets a lot of points in some way or another. Otherwise, I'll be glad if they are really coming back to release songs every year (hopefully) so I can put them higher on the ranks every year just like back in the day. I miss those kinds of tunes.

SID: Can we not talk about them please? I'll wait until their new single in 2017 to talk about them then, yes? Yeah, there's the best album, but...

SCANDAL: Their 10th anniversary has been quite a blast, apparently. Their new album isn't too much of a disappointment besides the fact that I didn't give enough I guess, and their new single is a surprising turn in terms of style and melody. And I'm impressed. I want to hear more of their music. With the direction they are going we may see yet better stuff from these girls in 2017. Who knows? It's just the beginning since they started taking over the studio back in 2014.

miwa: Two singles in 2016, but they are worth mentioning. Collaborations for her are a big hit this year, involving herself in writing love songs and emotional songs so easily off herself. That, and her being really active in other entertainment fields... She may be busy, but we're getting an album soon in 2017, so that'll be a good time to enjoy more of her songs once again.

Toyosaki Aki: Aki-chan has done well in 2016. Her third album is a charm, and her new single is the only pre-order single for the year. I'm still impressed on how much I can catch up with her songs (Hint: it's her super lovable voice), and all I can do is only to ask for more. More fanservice or more music with her voice in it that makes it sound good, I'll leave it for you to think about it.

Tomatsu Haruka: It's also an anniversary year for her, so I guess it's worth celebrating? Her fan-voted best albums turn out to be better than I expected, and two singles cement her as a contributor as significant as Ikimonogakari. My overall impression of her has been positive in 2016, and I like how it is heading too. New releases may not be near, but I like to hear more of her singing good songs in 2017.

Kotobuki Minako: Okay, this one I have a bone to pick. And I mostly blame production. The second album from before may be a hint, but this year her only two singles are disappointing. I've skipped the latest one, and the other didn't even make it on the shelf. Her songs have been growing in distance since that album, and I think it might get worse. Maybe I need to be more generous? But how? It's not good enough! Ah... Mina-chan...

ClariS: They released a lot of singles in 2016 (even a collaboration), but all I did is to give old songs from that cover song mini-album. I know. I'm really old in music taste for my age. On the other hand, their new album is upcoming in 2017, so that'll give a good time for me to catch up if I still want to give this combination of girls another chance.

Porno Graffitti: Yeah, didn't expect their name to come back after what happened for the past two years. But in 2016, they have been impressive. Two singles down and they are all pretty good. Maybe I hate their references to females and whatnot, but then again an Anime tie-in actually turned out to making them better. We see no longer their previous style of music, but this upcoming one I think I'm ready to catch on.

Tsuji Shion: This one, it has been a long journey for her. Six years after her first album which I still remember a lot, she finally decided to release another album. I wouldn't say it's on my shelf now, but more than that she is changing. I mean, I'm okay with that, and it really should be anticipated for anyone who listens to her song, but it isn't too bad at all. It may be a tad bit too long to wait for it, but still.

Taketatsu Ayana: Ayachi's contributions for 2016 has been positive. Her two singles are rather okay (I mean, close to missing 2.99, that one), and her new album took a 2-D style approach, still turned out to be pretty good. As far as giving her new song goes, I've not been kind. But then again, I'm okay with her performance in 2016, really.

fumika: This one is as dormant in Klassic Note as Porno Graffitti already, so you know what happened between the years. On other things, I've not been listening to her new songs, so maybe I should go back and listen to them someday.

Hanazawa Kana: Kana-chan has done pretty good in 2016, I must say. Her only two singles got more recognition than I ever have given her in the past few years. Her production stemming from Hata Motohiro and Makoto Shinkai definitely did help her in making it good. A new album is in place in 2017, and it may be time to give her more songs considering that there are so many of them just like the one in 2014.

NEW & UPRISING ARTISTS
Kuso Iinkai: The guys did quite good in 2016, with the album and a couple more singles after that. It's just that... again, I've not been generous. I rejected their single last month, and then contributions are just about the same as past years. At this rate they'll be Collection Artists in about... 8 more years? I don't know. Then again their melodies are unconventional, so I houldn't complain.

THE ORAL CIGARETTES: This one, I'm not so sure. Their album was okay, and then the two singles they released in 2016 are rather dubious. As I mentioned, I don't like to be dragged in to their melodies because they are repetitive, somewhat a little bit like how popular music was made. They aren't the best in the list anyway again, so I'll just observe and see. Their new album is coming in 2017 and initial impressions are good, so I think I'll enjoy album releases like cinema staff then. Saying about them...

cinema staff: Okay, I guess. The album was once again a good reason to listen to their songs because the rest of the time they are busy doing credits for other things. A good example would be their newest E.P. where I took the only song which didn't have a credit. It may be short at barely 2 minutes, but still. Other than that, I enjoyed them in 2015 more than 2016, so that will say quite a lot, I guess.

KANA-BOON: A good performer this year, as their two singles and one album did strike me as being good. At least, for their topic songs in my opinion. Their albums are going to be their downfall in Klassic Note, so I'll not put my hopes too high.

nano.RIPE: Probably the biggest news from this band is the fact that they won't be a band soon. Or shall I say, they'll become a duo soon. Losing two members after their latest album did come as a surprise as I always look forward to their albums every year, and even their singles did leave an impression or two. But this might change in 2017, and I don't know what will happen actually.

Primary: She's just here mainly because with the reviewing of her latest album I've finally caught up with her latest songs, considering there is a constant stream of sources I can get her new songs from. And yeah, I know of the new single. In 2017, perhaps.

TWEEDEES: Their second album in 2016 was pretty good, and it's definitely better than last year as I took in more songs, but not in quality, I guess. Their topic songs is rather addictive though, to say the least.

Cocoro Auction: Their major debut and a new mini-album release is a good hit in 2016, and they're catching up with another in 2017 soon, so I'll be looking forward to that. These guys over BUMP of CHICKEN probably is the reason why I mention them and not the latter.

[Alexandros]: Better known here as [Champagne] about two years ago, their latest album caught my attention with thanks to Gotch from Ajikan, and I'm impressed. Turns out I do like their songs and I might just be looking at them more often in 2017.

amazarashi: Following a good single back in 2015, 2016 has been a good year for this guy, I would say. His album was pretty good as in I liked all the topic songs from the singles, and the mini-album is also good. If I like his beats I may end up listening for more in 2017, who knows?

yucat: She's here because of a new mini-album featuring her debut song which should've been on a disc at some point long ago already. Also, 5th year for her in 2017 too. Best album probably won't help her much, but we shall see.

Goose house: This big group of singer-songwriters did come up with quite a couple of releases this year. Turns out Sayaka can write a song, Takebuchi Kei is the MVP of the group, and Takezawa Migiwa is thinking of leaving. But before that happens I'll get to listen to their latest single next week in 2017. Yay.

TrySail: If you need explanation why they are the best off this year, it's mainly because of good songs. The two singles that started 2016 are good, and the album tops it off. And as if that is not enough they entice me with a single from HoneyWorks, so they're year is done already. This is it. Their next... probably a couple more years away.

Iwasaki Ai: Her full album in 2016 was impressive, because I gave a lot of songs and kept going back for more than half a year after the first review.

UNLIMITS: Probably the same reason as Iwasaki Ai, their album is impressive which almost made me take half of their album without traces of any old releases stuffed inside them.

SpecialThanks: Only one mini-album, but still pretty good too. I want more though, because I see the potential in them.

ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE: After quite a lot of years their full album in 2016 surely threw me off by surprise. Coupled with that digital single this sure is a good year for them.

Aimer: She struck me hard when she got backed up by famous producers writing her songs and her taking in two Anime theme songs... damn this is a good year for her. Also, if you haven't heard that love song she sang in her album you've been living in a well for too long haha

7!!: Two singles only this year, but I did give a listen to them all. Turns out they really can write and sing ballad songs, I would say.

Komatsu Mikako: Most impressive might not be her being featured in Q-MHz's album, but the set of four Anime composers writing for her a single in 2016 and potentially, an album in 2017! Damn, I can't wait. (To sh*t on the composers again haha)

Satou Satomi: Only one single, but she has been quiet these few years, and I don't blame her. Her voice is there for better things though. Just hope to hear from her soon. New releases, I mean.

Amamiya Sora: Her only release in 2016 was her first album, and it was fine, I guess. Nothing close to putting it on the shelf, but still. It's tough finding a genre for her, but generic pop she can be in, that's for sure.

NEWCOMERS

LILI LIMIT: Turns out the biggest underdog of Klassic Note 2016 is not a rock band, but hey, I'm okay with that. Looking back to their older releases because they have moved forward to a major label (which also houses Ajikan, amongst other artists), I found better songs in 2016 moving backward than forward. I'll be sure to give a listen to their recent album in 2017 once I'm done with this song awards.

LuckLife: Also another impressive group who got major label support, and three singles cemented their place in Klassic Note just off the bat. Anime "Bungou Stray Dogs" helped them out a lot to be honest, but still, they have a good style of rock that I'll be sure to stay behind and listen to them in 2017.

Miyawaki Shion: She may be a pop star, she may have already sung for 10 years without me knowing, and without Anime "Assassination Classroom" she may never come to Klassic Note. Still, this many releases is really impressive, and I've determined the best composer for her goes by the name of ArmySlick, who wrote the theme songs and all other songs I gave in 2016. Really, no exceptions. And it's all coincidence too.

AOP: They may sound new, they may look like another girls group like AKB48 probably, but whoever wrote songs for them is real good at doing it, making their two singles in 2016 stand out amongst the crowd. I thank the Anime that has helped them (well they helped the Anime, if you knew the origin of their group name) and helped them make a mark in Klassic Note.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE: They fall in the same category probably like THE ORAL CIGARETTES that if you like their style you'll be staying to hear more, but I didn't. No really, I only listened to the album under the recommendation of Satou Satomi-chan, and their other releases simply whizzed past me because I've heard one and liked the melody more than the music style.

plenty: I rather enjoyed the music style in this rock band, and seeing how many live performances of theirs are just bulk on YouTube, you can go enjoy them for yourself. I selectively choose, but that doesn't mean I disapprove of their style. Their latest album in 2016 isn't the best or better than their previous one, but I want to hear more. These guys can create moods that associate me, and I like.

SWANKY DANK: This turned out to be a surprising addition, and I kind of like punk rock, so I gave them a chance. More surprisingly is not because of their music totally available on YouTube but even with Apple Music which I started last month I still didn't get to hear a digital release of their latest mini-album. Damn. Other than that, I can take a little more punk rock.

Silent Siren: Might as well mention them too lol. They had a good start for impressing me with their live performances, but after that when the album came out and I noticed I'm taking an addiction pill, and that is pretty much where I stopped. Easy listening songs, but seeing that it's too easy listening and it feels rather repetitive in style after a while, I decided to not listen to their new releases in 2016 at all. I know. I'm a jerk haha

Asakura Momo: Her addition to Klassic Note may come as a bliss, but her debut single isn't impressive, as one may expect. But hey, with her debut as a singer comes a lot more releases, and I shall be looking forward to that in 2017/

DISBANDED ARTISTS
Kawada Mami: It's suck a pity that she's going backstage to write song lyrics for others, but then again she's an angel when it comes to those types of pop Anime songs, and I will miss them. Her best album and last single are good points of 2016, but I've only managed to give one song so far. See if I can give another one or two, and didn't know her songs before her first single were actually better than I thought.

HOME MADE Kazoku: Another thing that has to go, this rap group is stopping activities with a best album in 2016, leaving me with a lot of regret and a lot more songs close enough for me to give them the thumbs up to be a Collection Artist, and I thank them for the many rap tunes. Come on, with them being the only rappers on Klassic Note, it's no wonder I can't bear to see them go.

Okay, I'm tired after a whole day of video editing. Yes, I'm doing something before I have to work 8 to 5 next week. Cya guys then, because this is as much as I have opinions for the artists I know of in 2016. All others not listed just aren't close enough to be mentioned, I guess. Until next time... yeah I'll do up the 2.99 stars thing tomorrow. APoL? Just... don't... ask. I don't think I have the time to even finish it by the end of the week.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #1

***Happy New Year (insert fireworks animation here), everyone! Welcome to 2017!***

(Man this must look worse on mobile haha)
I'm not particularly excited considering I spent last night doing up the Top 20 songs for Klassic Note 2016, and spent the whole of today at a relative's house, you would say I'm rather exhausted already. Promises are still in check though, and with one more week left of my life (lol) because I'll finally be a working adult soon, I hope to finish some things before that starts.

Also, no resolutions this year. Just like lat year. Because I can't hold on to them. No sarcasm from social media as comments please. I've seen enough of them already.

Also also, no format changes even though it's a new year. I have no mood for this kind of thing lol. I mean, if it were change I'll do it whenever I like, okay? Now let's get started. This is too long of an intro to start an issue of this already.

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Just to not get your hopes too high, and yes I did not miss an episode yet, here's that summary that they've been talking about on Twitter.
This special episode which, in honesty I didn't watch everything because I know it's this type of thing, is just a good summary of what is going on with Rei's surprisingly hard yet fulfilling life. Hey, I'll take a switch of lives with him. If... I'm good at shougi and I'm not a wuss. (Audience: Woah...) Yeah, anyways, this is just a teaser of what is to come, and personally for me, I'm really forward-looking when it comes to this show (didn't intend to live life twice lol) so I want to see how far the production has taken this show. Hopefully not more chess matches, please.
P.S. No images because technically I didn't watch the show. And just watching 20 seconds of that next episode preview doesn't count.

漫画 One Week Friends
Yes, there apparently is a concluding chapter. It (39) talks about their graduation and how things will go after they go their separate ways. Yes, everyone. From Saki-chan, to the classmates, to the main two guys and Fujimiya-san, of course. It's been a heck of a ride, but I wished this was in the Anime.
P.S. No images for this because the quality is low haha

漫画 Tonari no Kashiwagi-san
Damn I wish for the guys to finish this already. The last volume of the series is here, and starting with a chapter (78) very befitting of the season. End of the year. Someone made a Christmas confession to a girl. That girl said yes. That doesn't mean they're going out yet, but they have been going to somewhere. Seeing their foreigner friend out is one thing, but then...? Honestly saying, if Yuuto doesn't do it himself, Kotone will never do anything. And that's important to note. Then again he's doubtful of his actions, so this could take a while. We're not dealing with a tsundere like his friend is haha
Yeah technically speaking they are not.
Damn all the facial expressions in this story haha

テレビ White Rabbit Project
You guys may not know, but this is also not the return of MythBusters. The build team who left initially are back, it's not all experiments, there's a lot of history telling and fact-checking, it's a Netflix original (WTF if Netflix lol) and so on. In summary, it's them again, making science interesting and fun to just listen to. And watch, because they did do some big feats. Their released first season consist of mind control, a hot air balloon made form propane tanks , a makeshift hoverboard, and more. Hope that's enough to entice you because I don't want to spoil everything. I liked it though, and I think it has potential to carry on. Can't wait for the next season.

And yes, I finished watching the whole thing. 10 episodes worth. Which is about 10 hours. Totally worth your time, I would say.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
And yes, no Klassic Note this week. Mostly due to the results being out! You can find the last year's one (hehe) over here. Also, I'll be doing up the Evaluation (if you've been waiting for that) tomorrow because... you know.

So I end here. A little too short because new Anime haven't appeared, and it's the first day which means I'm still stuck with last year songs, but I'll be catching up. As promised above, I'll do up another post, and hopefully more when I can schedule myself to type out a whole lot of text which only I'll be interested to see in preparation for me listening to Japanese songs for 10 years. Hey, it's commemorative in my opinion. Also, a life landmark, if you would say. So yeah. Also, I hope to finish APoL Chapter 16 to set that pace so I can continue with the arc if possible. Damn, I'm real lazy. Then again, I'm also stuck, so... hope the new year can give me some inspiration, yes? Cya guys next week then, I need to sleep more haha
