The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #17

Now that I have some time to breathe (and forget about that proj-) let's talk entertainment!! Yeah!! Okay, I'm not that high I'm just happy I'm not dead yet lol. You see, this is not the first time I felt so weak and useless at my efforts...

Nope, we're not dampening this post any further. I'm in happy land now, so let's be happy. *sigh* Okay, let's get right to it! I'm trying real hard to kill my depressed self right now

(Sidenote: Playing a volleyball game full of 3D girls is helping me curb depression haha) (I need to get Misaki-chan someday WHY DID I NOT CHOOSE HER AS ONE OF THE TWO IN THE BEGINNING??) (FYI 3 out of the 12 characters have no fighting experience hehe I checked them all) (FYI x2 in order I chose Kokoro-chan and apparently she's a successor in DOA or something and Kasumi from OG DoA because I don't mind getting beaten lol) (I only checked their background after I chose them based on their profile, you know, where occupation is just in one line and you ignore it easily) (cute girls only people we're NOT playing a fighting game)

アニメ Fumikiri Jikan
If you're thinking that it's something else besides someone holding on their laugh you're- Oh it's just me haha
The new episode (#FumikiriJikan03) just gets funnier every time you watch it, this time it's interaction between teacher and student. And you're right sensei, you should keep your mouth shut. *laughs* Okay, maybe not since it's kind of manners to talk to students but yeah, normally people don't want to. Age gap or whatever, at least don't screw up the introductions, yes? And that's where the landslide happens because the girl looks like she got an or**** or something lol and really she's just trying not to laugh at a seemingly professional figure. I mean, you can laugh girl; the teacher totally sh*t on himiself this time. Now it's gotta be a talking point in class later haha sensei you lucky she is quiet in class
Those ecstasy shots are so great I just can't
Those ecstasy shots are so great I just can't
P.S. Reading the credits they are voiced by (no wonder I find them familiar maybe) Honda Mariko (as Aioi Yuuko in Nichijou) and Yasuhiro Mamiya (as Fecor in Shana season 2) (wait, who?) okay maybe not so familiar now I thought it was like Marinka or something haha

アニメ Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
I'm like "Pin-senpai you're describing that one girl with the brown hair in your club room" lol
I know I should'nt be "Jougasaki-ing*" this episode (#TadaKun04) but yeah Pin-senpai you've gone WAY too far in describing breasts lol okay let's talk about the rest of the plot. Hmm since this is a character development episode again (last episode was that cat lol) let's go into some level of detail. Of course, it's about love. Firstly, I'd like to compliment the production for making the story resound so well in everyone's minds: an otaku's trip to a fan meeting. Yeah. Haven't happened to me, but I feel this is going to be what it's like someday lol I'm already 25 (Ten-chan I'm coming for you someday I promise) Okay back to the episode. Reality check because it's really, REALLY hard to get into a fan meeting event limited to a hundred people (You don't even know; FYI do you know idol concert tickets in Japan are also randomly allocated? Yeah you still need to have some luck to be one of them) so yeah undoubtedly one will get excited. But as expected, Pin-senpai is your stereotypical, shy, awkward and totally fanboy... fanboy. Which becomes a problem. Considering all that you're meeting someone who is famous, beautiful, and... right in front of you?? Yeah, he got to rehearse with the chairperson of the class. I mean, if you have been noticing Alec-san (well, I have) then you'll know her sixth sense is spot on because she put two and two together so HINAko won't sound unfamiliar anymore. Eh? That's it? Not really, for she's the only one who noticed it though lol. Fast forward to the meeting where (here's where I compliment the story writer) Pin-senpai dresses like a punk from the 80s lol and has to change out to a more... normal outfit which is whoever loses that scissors paper stone between the three guys (lol sorry Tada-kun) and then... Pin-senpai ran out of time to speak to the woman. Yeah, he flubbed it. Script (because it's in the other set of clothes), attire, articulation... he screwed it up bad. Despite the catastrophic failure, we get a hint from HINA-san which is quite literally, an awakening for the guy. Maybe. But yeah, I thought that was it. I guess it's not. Even the phone call kind of cemented it. I guess I was wrong then. But yeah, the day will come to light where that idiot senpai can link them up someday which is like in 5 episodes haha, and so will Teresa-chan. Links back really well, and makes you think more. But yeah, I don't think it'll have much of an impact as Alec-san mentioned, but it'll be a hell of a reveal. More than Pin-senpai and HINA-san or not? We'll have to see it for ourselves.
You know you look hip when...
... when you give the "I dare you to take a picture of me" face lol
*Jougasaki (verb) - to describe a woman's breasts in great detail (lol I'm not joking go watch episode 2 of "Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei")
P.S. "Once you fall in love you end up doing what you're told" wow that's real deep haven't got to that yet though personally haha Alec-san may I?? *gets punched*
P.P.S. *looks at Tada-kun volley* Seriously, what I lack in life is times where I look cool. *silence* WHAT??
[GIF FEVER!!! Just can't help haha]
When you got tickets to a special event
which is harder to win than lottery lol

アニメ Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
"Narumi couldn't remember which pair of underwear she was wearing" SHE GONNA GET LAID haha
I'm going to summarise the quote above as a general opinion of the whole episode because in this new episode (#WotaKoi03) if you didn't laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME the girl refers to herself ie. "Narumi..." (or "Narus..." lol) you didn't laugh enough at this lovely show haha. And yeah, you bet I got bought in with the (spoilers right after this section) KISSING SCENE!!! WHOO!! Man, when's the last time I saw one of those in Anime?? *laughs* (I'm sorry if the capitalisation also made you see spoilers lol I just can't help but) So yeah, I'll be giving this show, and it's not because of this only, I swear. The episode talks evenly about two things I've been inquiring since the first episode, which are otaku-related events, and socialisation events with the four of them, the main characters. So yeah, both got answered well. Firstly, it's all but jokes in the Co***** event (I mean, there's only the one) as Narumi rushes to finish her latest work and managed to sell it to interested patrons. Hey, in case you don't know what is happening (I'm not an otaku btw) (well not entirely) doujinshi which are better known as indie manga publishers push their work on these seasonal events (that makes 4 times a year, "spring event" in real life is actually this weekend) along with many other enthusiasts including games, cosplayers, and... rated content. Yeah. So the guys obviously are interested in all these stuff, it was a joy to see the confusion that Hirotaka gets sitting there and selling BL ("boy's love", meaning gay) manga alone haha, and yes the cosplayer. So yeah, that is settled. I'm okay with all of these, actually, mainly because it's entertaining instead of irritating. Second half then talk about Narumi getting laid playing games with Hirotaka when she thought they'll be all alone... it's a sleepover!! *horn sounds* So yeah she didn't really get it, but she still got it. It's hard to determine even as of now what kind of stuff Hirotaka-kun likes besides games (*wink* Mario Kart) but yeah apparently it's also 2D girls with huge boobs (#realitycheck) and... her. Hey, I'm loving this story already. Comparatively not as epic as that Anime original above (sorry author, Anime production has gotten better in recent years) but I'm liking the mood of the show already. A kissing scene this early? They totally sealed the deal for this guy who almost wanted to be out because of those... I'll think of a way to give the theme songs somehow haha *rolls eyes*
I'd like to bring your focus to the left side of this image... lol the faces
(Also, the production saving money by using these facial expressions?)
This will be when I'll throw all my stash away and love my gf
(which is never haha)
P.S. "It's all thanks to the power of moe" *points at Hirotaka* What about this guy? lol
P.P.S. Okay I finally got the "Asahi Super~" because if you say "Dry" as in the name of the drink it means it's dry in your- (the second time Hirotaka mentions that to the guy friend you should get it)
(I-promise-it-is-the-last-one-because-I-can't-put-any-more-postscripts postscript: Try listening - or just staring at the subtitles - without watching the footage right after the ending theme you'll be surprised how much it resembles a sex scene aftermath lol)

漫画 Kuroshitsuji
So wait, if Ciel dies from cancer then...? Then good game I guess haha
It's been some time already, so let's catch up to what I've missed. The new chapters (137-139) were worth the wait, though I did not intentionally wait for it I just forget this still exists lol licensed manga sucks haha. Okay, the plot. The last time we were here, the (from here on unless otherwise stated, I'll use to reference the brother) "other Ciel" got killed, the brother. And the (now) Ciel Ciel did something... weird. He managed to be able to, by witnessing his brother's death, summon upon the demon for some reason. Hey, it's the story, so hold on to your horses for a moment. So yeah, it's (unnamed) Sebastian, seeking the one who called him from hell, apparently. So yeah, Ciel then decided to exact revenge on whatever the heck happened to his family up till this point, and yeah, with power. Ultimate power which will make him hit the goal without actually doing it himself okay he wants to do it himself anyways, so yeah demon, you're out of luck. The other half is merely talking out the conditions of the contract which will cement the demon to not - by any circumstances - not do his duty or kill Ciel the moment he can before his goal is reached. Hey, idiot-proofing course at 10 years old; didn't your school teach that today? *laughs* Anyway, it'll be spoiler from here on, but yes he gets three wishes (cliche) and they are, within the time of the contract, (1) to not lie to Ciel regardless of circumstances - Sebastian has done quite well up till now unless there are some things he himself do not understand, though to think about it he actually might know who did all these to the Phantomhive family, so... he's lying? (2) to obey all orders from Ciel without fail, especially under command - which explains the "it's an order" and "yes, my lord" thing after what, 137 chapters? That, Sebastian has done pretty well too, not that we know if he has done anything behind his back lol (3) to protect Ciel at all costs - which will explain his near-deaths despite Sebastian being the one getting killed over and over again and he can still make sure Ciel is not dead good job Yana-chan-sensei haha but yeah this one is easy. But makes you wonder, what about the betrayal part though? Well, technically it's covered in the lying and obeying orders too so yeah that's in it too. Which brings us to the big question back to the original arc we probably forgot: what happened that made other Ciel (which we have learnt is the REAL McCoy, the older twin, and the prospective leader of the house) appear? Isn't he stabbed and gutted to a mess? Hey, remember the blood transfusion thing? Remember.... Undertaker?? Yeah, this is going to get real cringy in the next few chapters. Hopefully. Yana-chan-sensei, I demand a conclusion. Try to do it within the year, yes? I've gotten tired of waiting. Like Sebastian, for Ciel to exact his revenge. *giggles*
lol you bet he is haha

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
The hallucination of Kokonotsu of Hotaru-chan in the omake lol
The "latest" chapter (124) with omake concludes the 7th volume of the manga, and man, you guys know the plot already. Kokonotsu went to the review for new manga artists... and failed. I don't want to say how similar it is to my life right now (lol) but yeah this boy is reflecting it hard. Not until he got harder after seeing the huge-chested girl in front of his eyes haha. Okay, jokes aside, we know this is going to conclude because the author has recently announced the ending to this series (it's volume 11, but we're WAY far from this here), and hell yeah will we get an ending. I hope. I don't think this is it, which is why this will only get more interesting. Will Kokonotsu pursue his dreams as a manga author or...? We just have to wait to find out.
Not as cute as the one in the Anime haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Now that I have some time to breathe (and forget about that proj-) (not deja vu I wrote this first lol)  I've set down to give more songs. And man, I hope this won't end up to be a fortnightly thing where I only update my list of songs less frequently than like, twice a week. Yeah, it was a thing. Okay, the releases. I threw Yuuki Aoi's new single out of the window because obviously that's not her voice for some reason (screw you Anime it's your fault), I finally concluded on giving yucat's latest mini-album by just giving the one song I've been listening to for a month lol, I've also started giving songs from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION bootleg compilations because I totally miss their old style of alternative rock (when it still was 10 years ago), and I finally got hold on that Game "Alternative Girls" and their character songs namely because I remembered that the label behind it finally is releasing their stuff on Apple Music Japan (so yeah Miyaka you're in the list), which... won't help make a better impression on the latest release. It wasn't good, to be honest. And I've been lenient since last year, mind you.

Finally I've gotten those old(er) releases out of the way, let's talk about the latest stuff released this week. Aqua Timez's new album is... I think my tweet summarises it well:
But then again I'm not really in the mood to give, and they are kind of holding on to their pop style which I like as shown in the topic song which I'm giving as of now, so they'll stay for a week. Although I better give them more before next week comes up. (Later paragraph, guys) Also, since I've given the Anime "Wotakoi" as it is called, I have to, you know, give at least one of the theme songs. And hey what timely release is sumika's new mini-album which featured that opening theme song and... I don't want to argue. The song can get used to maybe. I'd love to pinpoint what I dislike but nah I'll learn to like the weird transition in the verses lol.

Next week brings us quite a couple of albums actually, and I can't wait to get my hands (literally) on them, including Tomatsu Haruka's new album after her best albums since 2016 and Middle Kids is releasing their debut full album (if you do not know of them they currently represent the Australian indie artist voice) after their first release last year making them the only English artist in Klassic Note in 2017 lol. Well, the following week is crazier but I'll leave this here for now.

Latest Twitter activity include Tsuji Shion's latest attempt in writing a new song "Sekai de YEAH" based on her Asia journey (yes, Singapore is included yeah my hometown <= see what I did there?) and you can view the music video on the website which I liked that Tweet (hehe go there and watch you lazy idiot) and Yoshioka Kiyoe - the voice of Ikimonogakari - is finally announcing her solo debut (yep, without the two composers) with... a song cover which is for a commercial, but that's not the point. Solo debut, people. We're going to get more- Well I wouldn't say "Ikimono songs", but hey, she can sing anything. Blow my mind away, Kiyoe-san.

I'm done. I'm ending this earlier because it's exam season and... I got a paper tomorrow. The good news is that I can afford to save some effort in studying for it because I intend to void the grade or whatever you call it internationally. The bad news is that I cannot afford to flunk it. Well it's not that far my project is way worse-

...

*cries*

...

*wipes tears* But yeah, going into that evening paper tomorrow with a light heart, I suppose. Also, the idolism thing in this week's episode of Anime "Tada-kun" is really making me want to meet the voice actresses I know especially when people go to reddit to brag about their fan meets (dammit!). I guess I gotta do this someday. I hope. Or not. Maybe not. That is such a far thing, it's not worth pursuing. Besides, one can only like someone far away this much. And again, I'm ready to throw away everything for anyone who can do the mutual love thing with me anytime in the future. Not happening yet, so that's great. *laughs* Okay cya guys next week then, and hopefully by then... I'll be halfway done with my exams. Yeah. 'Tis gonna be a long week ahead.

Is it a sin to live life with only entertainment as motivation?

Well, been thinking about life now considering I have to find a job sooner or later. But it's not because of that. And yes, it's about that project. I think I noticed I can't handle solo projects if I'm given the part-time method of dealing with it. Chances are if I can focus on one at a time I will do better, as seen in my internship last year. I don't know. I just think I don't have enough of anything to keep me alive now that something of reality just hits me. And it's not the first time.

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #16

*sigh*

I think I'm doomed. My final year project/thesis/whatever you call that project which ends your university/college final year. Oh well, I blame myself for submitting to peer pressure in choosing a professor and project early. I think I would have gotten an easier life if I were to be chosen somehow. My luck on extremely important events has been rather good anyways.

*sigh*

I think I'll blame myself on this, Prof. It's not your fault for saying that I'm dealing with "trash" and "didn't have anything to show off". You don't like experimentation-based projects, I guess.

*sigh*

Okay, I'm done. Remove ALL that negative feelings away, for we got some Anime to watch! (Actually was totally wanting to watch this on Friday immediately after the last of Anime to air this week but I also had to meet for a demo on Friday, you know)

アニメ Fumikiri Jikan
If you've only heard the word "eroi" for the whole video, you're not alone. The new episode (#FumikiriJikan02) talks about women. Sorry, ladies. But yeah, it's a classmate thing again. But this time, it's one of the guys against one of the hottest female classmates in class. Well, if you're staring at her the wrong way no one will blame you I guess, but yeah, I guess the overemphasis of this is kind of irritating haha. Nonetheless, it's entertaining as heck, and yeah they do make your wish come true (in Anime) by giving some form of interaction where... Majima-san? (Sorry only heard the one word lol) Yeah, she does up your tie. Well that's kind of cliche of a plot, but hey, he got laid. Well, about the amount of time the train passes only though, as he stays stunned by her beauty. But hey, a little background will make sense but no follow-ups will likely make this anti-climactic, because this is likely what we'll get. No seriously, this it it. Now go fap in a corner if you need to lol
I don't ****** as dramatically as this kid does lol
P.S. WHAT IS WITH THE VOICE OF THE GIRL??? No really, REALLY weird. It was as if I was hearing from a mature voice somehow... Oh it's the girl who sang the theme song. Oh.

アニメ Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
If I can have a younger sister in life, it'd better be Yui-chan, yes? Come on she has a bright pink schoolbag... *giggles*
And hey Yui-chan isn't the only thing that shines so much it's brighter than everyone else. Right, Alec-san? *laughs* The new episode (#TadaKun03) is literally a whole episode from the cat's perspective (thanks production!!) (also, voiced by this guy as I found out because I find familiarity in his voice), and boy did it bring up a different view. Well, at least, where the topic of love is concerned. I mean, it fell in love lol. Okay, the plot. It shows another lovely day of Tada-kun's life with Teresa-chan, and after a morning coffee the guys so on a photo shoot to try to nail that competition prize, I guess. Sounds short, but many things happened which focus on the details on what happened but in the perspective of the cat. Interactions may be right or wrong (the old man nailed it though), but all in all very entertaining to watch as it explains the many reasons for the cat's reactions for the first couple of episodes, from hating Ijuin to how it got fat lol. Also, we got quite a flashback as to how Teresa-chan... got disciplines to behave herself and not act abruptly because she is- Well you know haha. (Also, I don't care about Ijuin's backstory haha) All in all, another wonderful episode to watch, and I shouldn't spoil too much on this, but yeah since "Tada-kun won't fall in love" you would expect the affection to come from somewhere, yes? Looking at you, Teresa-chan hehe (oh also spoilers below so if you haven't watched) oh also Alec-san very interesting girl as we have found out (remember the secondary character development thing?)
[NYANKO BIG MONTAGE!! Haha what do you think will be in the thumbnail(s)?]
When your mom thought you love her terrible cooking lol
When your best friend knows you going out to buy porn lol
P.S. I thought it'll be a good joke that Teresa-chan will switch hands just to avoid an indirect kiss from a coffee cup oh this isn't Wotakoi?? Oops haha but hey the cat knows what's up
P.P.S. "If a man and a woman stare at each other for..." And I'm like "BRING THAT COUNTER UP" and it didn't happen. Hey, it's only episode 3, guys. Gotta have a little more patience lol "If a woman stares at her cup for more than 8 seconds..." *laughs*
(Okay last one: "It's not that sweet" followed by Tada-kun's voice reminded me of a certain Anime episode titled "Life is not that easy" - winners who know where this episode comes from will get a prize of knowing why. Answer, and for winners only) (Honor system, guys)

アニメ Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
Hmm to be honest? I find the new episode (#WotaKoi02) kind of boring. Yeah, and I'm not sure why. Let's break it down, yes? The episode just talks about the not-so-confession confession from Hitotaka-kun (I can only remember this name) and what happened after that... stalemate? Seriously? You guys haven't done anything yet though? But yeah, this episode specifically deals with character development, as we see Hana and the other guy try to get along as the four of them start to hang out. It's real awkward though, the interactions, which made me feel like the drama has been dragged out for some reason. The random kind of unrelated stuff strikes back again like how Anime "Slow Start" does it, and it seems irrelevant or even uninteresting at times, from whatever genre they're talking about to the differences between reading books and gaming and stuff. It's starting to get just a little boring. I don't know man, but if you're still watching this you would definitely love the winks (lol), the somewhat awkward interactions between the other two people who look like they have been in love at some point but broke up already (I don't know) and their love for everything otaku. That, I'd rather they not emphasise on this too much because the context is not strong. And that makes it worse in comparison. For me it's either you specify a certain something (like "100% Kataomoi" lol) or you don't, like Anime "Gamers". It's kind of bad to be in between, where there's some and it's not elaborated on. But I get where this is going; it's to show the side of relationships with that obstacle of otaku and love for stuff but not real life people. I get it, but I feel one should be emphasized more than the other would be better imo though. What do you guys think? Do you think I'm quitting this series already? I may just, and we'll see if I do next episode hehe
Okay, I'll give it to you, Momose-san. You cute.
Haha look at this guy can't even show face lol

漫画 Nagasarete Airantou
The new chapters (158,159) (turns out I may have missed one of them) (wow Volume 26, huh) talk about the TRUE Lord of the South. No, not that cat who is sensei to Suzu-chan. Someone bigger than that cat. Someone, who can punch a hole in a cave without leaving a trace. Someone, who no one has ever seen before but yet exists 100 years ago. The cat did go on to find out who the true identity of the Lord is, but eventually... Hmm, sounds like an interesting tale. I guess it may be boring at this long of chapters already, but somehow I can get into the mood well with nosebleed (lol Ikuto), jealousy, some mythical tales (someday the island will be able to link with the rest of the country maybe) and a lot more. And that, I'll continue reading. Between Suzu-chan and Ikuto's sister Misaki... man, Ikuto's a lucky guy. Haha and I think I said that from the very start already
Suzu-chan, she jealous cute.
P.S. I thought the Genjuumaru jokes were funny until I remembered this Suzu-chan face haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This week didn't bring much music to the table, so I had to go back a little. yucat's latest album has finally got so some conclusion and I'll be giving one song and that's it, I suppose. I also took a listen to ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION bootleg albums (if you follow on Twitter you should know) and there are some classic Ajikan titles in there, really. *sigh* I miss good old Ajikan. Even the new song in the best album can't hold up by itself. That's how far they are already. I also took some time to flip through the songs from label PONY CANYON Anime in Apple Music to try to get sources which are unlikely to find without streaming like that "Alternative Girls" character song series which has been released by the label since last year.

Next week brings us Yuuki Aoi's new single which I may or may not listen (now it's the latter instead of the former), and of course, the much long awaited Aqua Timez new album. Yes. It has finally come. The topic song isn't impressive, but that's not going to stop me from giving them new songs. And I swear, they are still the longest-lasting Collection Artist in Klassic Note till date, and I like that. It's been ten years, people. A lot have fallen out of league, but these guys... that's why they are great. We'll talk more on them next week.

Some Twitter activities this week include a confirmation of miwa's best album coming in July (when the tracklist comes out we'll see if I can get most of the 28 songs or not chances are I can I only missed like 3 singles haha), Chatmonchy's final (mini) album confirmed for 27th June this year and a final tour before ending their music career (see what I'm saying about falling out of league?), and I've also done some sharing of my experience listening to Horie Yui and Hikasa Youko back in 2013. Damn, those were good times.

(Be sure to check out the Klassic Note 2013 compilation "The Indisputable Anison" for more wonderful Anime theme songs from that year)

Well, I'm done. Cya guys next week again then, and until then... I'm finding something to forget about my... sadness. Yeah, you guessed it: Dead or Alive beach volleyball!! *laughs* Well I'm just trying out the freemium game in DMM (don't say yes to the mature content warning and you'll still find this) because they've been putting ads on their new character Tamaki (voiced by the lovely, lovely Oonishi Saori) (yeah, and the character's sadistic too hehe) but I've not gotten my hands (literally) on her though. It's hard to even play the game considering I'm reading a bunch of Japanese text and got an inventory of swimsuits and accessories enough to stuff my sling bag lol. (Ah then again it's swimsuits, so... lol broke my joke) Well, I'm going back to look at swinging babes, if you'll excuse me. *laughs* I'm still not that pleased on the 3D graphics of today though because clearly there's still a certain level of conflict in graphics when they swing their hair, put their hands on the table with a cloth for example, and so on. Don't ask me why, I just think it's still unnatural. Half the reason why I'm not into these games yet. Well, I won't say that now though gotta go back and swing those tit-

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #15

No, no karaoke this week. *laughs* Yeah, but then I've got quite a week. So I'm glad that's over. It's not over yet though. I mean, will I ever? But yeah, I still got a presentation to go which I don't even know if I can even pass (ugh my chest hurts), and a project demo, I guess. But yeah, definitely better than last week. I went to school on a Friday haha stuff students don't do well lol not true the others stay at home anyway like Sagiri in Eromanga-sensei lol

I've got a couple more new shows to talk about, so let's get to it!

アニメ Fumikiri Jikan
"Women can fall in love with each other too!" Haha yeah you're right though I just hope it's not happening here
Okay for starters, I want to punch that Ai-senpai so much right now because I love trains AND IT'S NOT A WASTE OF TIME WAITING FOR THE TRAIN TO PASS EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT TAKING IT!! Haha okay, the first episode (#FumikiriJikan01) of this short series is about trains. Well, not really. This show... is just simple, but we gotta give it some context considering I live in the city with underground trains lol. So firstly, context. Ever heard of railroad crossings? Yes, those intersections where a permanent rail path goes over any road or pedestrian path. In order to cut costs and not build overpass or underpasses, every time the train passes by you got to wait there for a couple of minutes. These minutes consist of: The train crossing barriers will come down, the traffic lights for the incoming train warning will light up in sync (two red, one above one below as you see in the Anime), and the train will pass. After that, the reverse process happens and you get to move on. Of course, because there's these few minutes, and that's where the drama happens. I feel sad for the show because this can easily be a full or even half-length episode in itself (it's not) (but seriously what's with Anime production today), and I'll have a joy watching it not because of the trains, but because of the stories behind them. It may be a lot of speech and little action, but I can see more people coming into this story, creating a world we can like, somehow similar to Tsurezure Children where in that case many school kids come to fall in love. Well, this one clearly is not going to be what it is now after this episode, but it's a good start. I might just take the three-episode rule and give it due credit for making it good so far. What happens next? Considering we won't have much context after every episode, it'll always be a mystery. Hey, at least it's good for re-watch purposes when I have some time to kill haha
This series in a nutshell.
Also, this is what a train crossing looks like.
P.S. Man, way too much for a 3-minute episode tbh, the write-up. I'll keep it short next time. Also, the opening theme song sounds good. Sounds like all the newbie voice actors are getting their solo music debut earlier than their major roles for some reason lol. We're on the road to initiation here, Anime.

アニメ Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
Come on, Pin-senpai I've gotten over gravure idols at the age of 10 bro get a life haha
Aw man I'm liking that Pin-senpai already he can see chests haha okay the new episode (#TadaKun02) goes a little in-depth to show that... I would like to say this is not a romance show, but it still is, and this might easily just be another typical romance comedy, if you haven't watched any before. I wouldn't get used to these shows personally, but I like how this time this show will stick with me. Hey, all in the day of making Anime originals, people. Let's talk about the plot. Remember the "infiltration" I mentioned last week? Yeah, so let's go in that direction instead of whatever is behind Teresa-chan right now. The two transfer students living the Japanese life can be rough (lol Alec), but it is not without comfort. They are quickly introduced to the Photography Club, where the class president has joined in reluctance along with Tada-kun, that narcissist, and introducing the most relatable character we can have among men. *laughs* Okay I wouldn't say I like gravure idols anymore (I don't) (*fap fap*), but I guess there's some meaning into putting Pin-senpai in this character. Not to mention a hint of the idol Hina with the class president, and the many stuff that happened along the way as they try split into teams and try to take pictures of each other... Well, you get the idea. I generally enjoyed the episode just like how I did last week, so I must say I'll be hooked to this no matter what haha. On the upside, now that the characters have been established (including that dog lol) and have concluded in some way what life should be like in this show, we may be ahead of making the backstory happen. Oh we're not? Oh well, I guess we can play around more often. And if you didn't notice the subtle details about affections between the characters (Tada-kun's sister to that dog lol) then be sure to watch the episode again. What's bad about the episode? To be honest, if they didn't say it was a tradition in the club I'll be as bored as Alec-san when they have to do this haha
No seriously, is that a real signing by the actor who played the Shogun?? lol
When your friend wants to do something and you don't haha
(TIL Alec-san is tsundere hehe very appealing)
P.S. I like the idea of how Pin-senpai thinks he can get more budget and get nude girls the class president is a member of the club isn't she?? (Well, not spoilers but, you can see where this will go haha)
P.P.S. Someone please explain to me whether Teresa-chan was getting giddy or stressed or horny (oops) (damn you Pin-senpai) when being flashed upon (by cameras, please) because it seems Alec-san knows something. Hey, as I said, details in original Anime to not be neglected, everyone.

アニメ Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
*A kind reminder from the local Transport Authority on not running into train doors as they are closing* lol
"This episode was sponsored by Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata" was what I'd like to say but since it's a show from the same production company I can't complain haha. The first episode (#WotaKoi01) of this... romance series? To be honest, it's all over the place. And I'm glad it all comes back together. Let's talk about it. The show starts of with Momose-san, some girl who just started working in a new company and surprisingly, where her childhood friend was also working. So hey, sounds like a good time to catch up until someone mentions the otaku stuff and you're like "I need to keep my reputation up so stop talking about it already" and stuff, but honestly, the guy is right: Find someone who will like what you do because I can honestly tell you, it'll be hard when the married life comes and you notice you like to go out and the other half loves his computer haha not my parent's story. Anyways, we're in an adult context here, so don't expect school stuff anymore. To be honest, this show is about work, but nothing to do with it, I swear. This is just the set-up for all the romance stuff that is about to happen. For now, we established most of the four main characters we will see most often. The main girl (fujoshi as I'll probably call here from now on), the main guy (geota as I'll call him), the main girl's colleague (cosplayer as I'll call her/him) and the main guy's superior. We don't know much about the last one yet, but the other three I think we have a good idea of it already after this episode. The flow of the story though isn't that weird, I kind of dislike the animation compared to the one above tbh, and the theme songs... will need a little bit of "brainwashing" haha. All in all, I want to give this show chance, I can see where this goes too (Comiket is going to be a thing here, like it or not), so I'll definitely play the three-episode rule. To tie up to the opening sentence, it's been some time since I've given a noitamina slot Anime (the last time was two years ago), so it's about time I get back on track. I'll see how this goes. The main point here feels like romance so I'll see if it's any better or worse than "Gamers!" that I watched last year.
This show in a nutshell hehe

I mean Momose-san things changed a lot for your childhood friend.
Looks, I mean. He's a game otaku though but still haha
P.S. Goddamn the animation is terrible the first impression of the main girl's face is just... I think I'll get used to her face soon I like the voice already hehe
P.P.S. Someone please find out what Momose-san's old name in the Anime industry is I just hope it's not censored because it cannot be aired on national TV haha

漫画 MANGA
Nothing this week. Maybe I need to find other things to read. It's been some time since I went out to find something interesting. That will become an Anime in the future. Never got that before. Hope to hit that someday.
(FYI First manga which I completed without an Anime adaptation was "Good Ending" - check that out it's a real interesting romance story; others include "Mahou no Iroha!", "Billionaire Girl" - I enjoyed that but it was not new already so... and more recently "BokuTame", and unless this segment is empty again I might just want to talk about the "latest chapter" here. I have plans to get the books in physical copy real soon, along with BLEACH and Kuroshitsuji maybe)

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Yes, I've moved on with SID's new Anime best album. Past self deleted the music video link to tell future self to forget about the review. *laughs* Sorry, SID. You guys were close.

Let's talk about new releases this week, yes? ORESAMA's first full album was kind of okay, but yeah because their style is kind of retro it's hard to remove that stereotype when giving the melodies which are already not that impressive. Besides the topic song I have another song which exhibits PON-chan's cuteness (<= hint right there) so I guess that's as much as I'll give it. Goose house's new album probably was easier to give but compared to their previous album with the other member this one was harder to give. I think it's mainly because they added new elements to the song production making it sound more impactful but also more daunting, making me harder to give the first few songs, to be honest. I still settled with a couple of songs though including the one they even had a live version of it if you had the right version of the release (mine's digital so yes it's in the release), and I must say... the two mini-album release back in 2015 were easier to give. And back then I thought I had to force myself to give the two songs just to credit them for the year. This one? It was quick in decision, but not painless. Sorry, guys. I expected something else apparently. Production is great though, I won't deny it.

I know there's not much next week for Klassic Note, so I better go backtrack and give a couple of songs which I promised to put in the list (*wink* yucat) and also find out new songs here and there. For example, Middle Kids (the only English group I gave last year) is releasing their first full album (congrats btw) in May, so be sure to check them out. Hmm, what did I write on my Twitter feed... Oh yeah, Keiko has finally confirmed her departure from Kalafina following composer Kajiura-sensei, so be sure to check her comment out. I mean, I'm done with these guys last year already, so whatever haha. Ah yes, PONY CANYON Anime division of artists finally got their entrance in Apple Music (Japan) following K-ON! and other Anime soundtracks, which also means Hikasa Youko (yay Yocchan!), Taketatsu Ayana and Horie Yui will be joining the list of songs I can tag online now haha

This is it then. I need to take a good break so tomorrow I can continue to finish that other project I need to present on Wednesday. You guys know data science is a big thing now and is in high demand? Gotta learn that Neural Network implementation code. *laughs* Cya guys soon, and until next time... I think I may have to get a missed release that was supposed to be on my shelf. Who is it? I'll reveal it in the next review I guess gotta get a discount from this lol

Wednesday 11 April 2018

I'd rather be judged by what I've done then be judged by what effort I've made.

Yeah, its D-day for me, ladies and gentlemen. Well, it's one of them anyway. I'm trying to take it as a short rehearsal for the real deal, where it'll be the former instead of the latter. Oh well, gotta do it anyway since it's taking up 30% of my subject grade haha

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #14

Oh yeah, don't ask why I'm posting this late again. Ask my mom. Oh, you can't ask my mom. Well, it's her birthday today, and as celebration she ordered herself (yep) a karaoke session and my family (was forced and) sang with her for like... 2 hours. Thank goodness it's over because you guessed it, they don't sing/listen to Japanese songs. Not like I won't totally embarrass myself by doing so though. Still. It's hard digging up my history of Chinese songs to sing to, considering I forgot almost everything lol

Happy birthday mom. This is the last time I'm singing with you haha

Okay, let's get to it. The new season of Anime has started, and I can't wait to talk about it. Even though thinking about it Random Curiosity probably got it better than this... English-deficient intellect lol. The other two that I've considered will appear next week, so these two shall do for now.

アニメ 3D Kanojo Real Girl
"I was with her the whole time!!" That's TMI, bro. Should've just said who the thief is if you've seen it lol
Hmm... how should I talk about this show. First things first, I'm NOT going to watch this series after all, and I'm here to talk about why. To get the last thing out of the way, the theme songs are... less than passable. Then, there's the starting part. This definitely feels like your usual romance storyline, but if I compare to my experience of watching romance shows I'd rather not give it. Given weird circumstances of just revealing a female in real life to be somewhat of a snob and loner because of that, I don't think it's good enough of a case to watch this (typically because I don't like main girls in shows who are like this I guess), although at the end there's that countdown which if given as a cue to end the Anime series it might still be good, but no. Then, there's the cast. The impact based on the cast (I'd like to blame animation more on this) is not strong enough imo to make me want to watch this till the end, so I'll pass on that. Then, there's development, or plot line, as we call it. It does seem to resemble many romance shows that have appeared in the past, but personally speaking for a 2D guy with actions governed by an Anime character is... really weird for me considering this is an Anime lol (A Marvel superhero would've been more convincing you lolicon haha). And then, there's discrimination. Something I don't think I'll see myself watching this far into the show but I did anyways, but yeah. Considering the two are going out together with your typical cynical class in Anime, it's going to see a lot of problems. That, and then the slice-of-life stuff which of course we'll see... Iroha-san go naked for some reason, maybe. Then again, Tsutsun (lol) doesn't deserve that, that stuff going out with the girl. Maybe it's because I don't feel for the circumstances for the boy who is still a hero compared to his friend Itou (which says a lot about being the real otaku) (no really the ex-classmates story not convincing enough), and that might be the pivot point for me to believe that just given this episode someone who likes 2D stuff would actually care about a 3D girl, even if it came from a pool cleaning session. So yeah, not convinced tbh. Then again, I'm not into these types of storylines, so...
This is all you deserve, Iroha-san.

アニメ Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
"The colour of rainbow is rainbow" WTF WHO THOUGHT OF THAT?? *looks at author*
Unlike the previous show I just watched, this one punches your guts away the moment she sees it lol. No, I'm not talking about the main girl. The first episode of this wonderful Anime original I must say (#TadaKun01) is a good example of what happens when you start licensing your local shows to an international audience. *laughs* Okay, enough about Rainbow Shogun he's made it to the opening quote haha. Let's focus on the main topic: the plot. In summary, you get 4 people. The main guy (Nakamura Yuuichi, if you still can't recognise his voice yet), his joke friend (thanks Miyano Mamoru once again literally THE PERFECT GUY to act such roles), the main girl (who is surprisingly foreign and totally suitable for this role after the first time I hear Iwami Makana from "Gamers!" tbh) and her jerk friend (which brings us to the opening sentence) and you get - you guessed it - a romance show!! Hey, perfect recipe as it is, I have a feeling it'll only get better. Let's talk about the good stuff. You get subtle jokes, crazy fictional references (the book, "always make your heart rain-" okay I'll stop), an obvious plot hopefully with a conclusion (if you still didn't hear the "-sama" reference from Alec-san), a wonderful cat with its own blog (MVP this episode btw) and a basis to share in interests: photography. As you can observe, it runs in the family. Tada-kun's family, to say the least. As for Teresa? I don't know. What we do know is this will be one of the many great avenues for them to socialise, and hey, who says this is not the best way to do relationships? I'm totally in on this show already I'll tell you first, mainly because of the joke levels of comedy that'll keep me around, and the reduced emphasis on what's to come for now. Hey, the girls even "infiltrated" the school; what else of a classic plot line do you want? Don't ask me why because they probably have their intentions for coming here (clearly it's not just an overseas trip), but considering the title of this show I just hope they're here to find a husband? *shock* Oops. Zu-bo-shi? Haha probably not. (Sorry that was a Tsurezure Children reference I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done it)
[TWO THUMBNAILS BECAUSE I CAN'T STOP MYSELF!!!]
Me when I see a beautiful foreigner (who does not look China)
Me when that foreigner starts speaking China lol
You know you're going against the law when...
... the cops are watching lol
P.S. "Someday you'll be-" Haha don't you LOVE those truck-drive speech censors?
P.P.S. *hears ending song* *falls down* Yes, ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you (if you didn't read the credits or can't) the main girl's cover of Sambomaster's "Love Song" from 2009. Man, that's old. I know I did get a hint from the official website but I didn't expect it to sound like this tbh
(Okay I know it's from the same guy production team that brought us "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun" but I don't care. I know of this show even if I didn't watch those from back then. Gives us good reason to say why this one would stand out more and I'll watch it too. So yeah, don't think too much about it. Also, great soundtrack once again from Hashimoto Yukari-san because I've known her since Toradora! already. Concidence?)
What I'm hyped for next week haha
(And no, I'm NOT going to do this every week) (Maybe) (She too cute)
(Okay promise this is the last one: If you love the "dewa" after Teresa-chan explains herself and still wants to go down the drain you're going to love this show)

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
The new chapters (122-123) are kind of differently, so I'll summarise them separately. The former chapter is about senbei, and how Kokonotsu managed to convince Hajime-san to the other side (lol) by treating her to specially made dagashi, and yeah, I don't think I've eaten both ways before. The later chapter is a part of the ending to the season two Anime where Kokonotsu tries to rush the deadline to submit to a manga professional, and his friends came to help along with Hajime-san. Man, the bonding when Hotaru-chan isn't here haha
I never look this good.
Even when I'm tired.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Hmm nothing much has been in Klassic Note this week I guess, and if you've been following me on Twitter (which you totally should, I rarely post stuff now haha I'm just lazy) you'll notice a couple of stuff, from the Anime stuff above to certain weird stuff like replying to Endou Yurika on her recommendation to a new age instrumental artist ichika and I must say... it's real weird. It's totally off-beat, an unusual use of acoustics, and everything else doesn't fall into place at all. Hmm, I'm not into this, I guess. Ajikan's best album probably will come into conclusion next week, along with yucat's new mini-album because she liked my Tweet haha I decided to take a look again maybe I'll give something

Next week brings us ORESAMA's first full album in which I'll probably give the topic song in entry to listening to their whole release which I totally should before giving up. Goose house's new album will also appear next week (w00ts) so maybe I'll get some consolation after going through another crazy week. Really, it's terrible.

This is it then. I'm kinda tired after all the singing (even though I didn't sing much) (and I'm depressed when I notice my singing voice sounds REAL flat lol) so yeah this shall be it. I'm also considering to change back my life to a life of listening to more new songs instead of lurking around YouTube and giving ad money to Google all day lol. But yeah, you get the point. To listen to music requires a mood, and I'm losing a lot of it. Which easily explains why I'm delaying the reviews every time because I just don't make decisions as promptly as before anymore. *sigh* Cya guys next week.

Tuesday 3 April 2018

Not caring about religion will be the biggest respect I'll ever give to it.

Not saying I'm extremist or otherwise, but as you all know, I'm a free thinker. (Audience: Not on your birth certificate though) Technically, okay? So yeah, you can <insert religious figure here> about anything but so long as I don't respond, you'll be glad I'm not trampling all over them. Besides, we all know <insert religiously offensive worldview here>

Monday 2 April 2018

Procrastination means the things you do do not require much effort so you can afford to relax. On the other hand, if you don't want to put in much effort than you can afford to procrastinate.

My final semester of University in a nutshell haha okay I shouldn't say that I like one out of the... half a dozen stuff I have to submit lol

Sunday 1 April 2018

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #13

I know it's Joke Day, and I shouldn't be doing this on the day no one takes anything seriously, but yeah, it's also a Sunday. So whatever. I still watch Anime and listen to new songs. Besides, I made my jokes already. Changing my cover photo on Facebook to a random K-pop group is making me new friendships lol

Next year I'll put the Chelsea logo as cover photo haha okay let's start

(Note: The one Tweet on @KlassicNote is my rejection for ever giving a sh*t for K-pop that's why you don't see a cover image change haha)

Once again, sorry for the last post; didn't expect Sangatsu no Lion to be THIS long and I only watched this after dinner should've skipped that nap lol

アニメ Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
OMG NISHIKATA GOT LAID!!!!!! Haha I know it's just a love letter
Wait, they just move the tables on seat change? WTF? Okay, the focus on the last episode (#TakagiSan12) of the series. I call that "Critical x2", Takgai-san. *laughs* Thanks, Anime. Thanks for ending on a happy note, literally. And I like. Can't unsee the last scene now. Let's go back a while to what happened. Two things happened in summary. Firstly, there's the letter-writing trend in class. This is vague enough to assume anything can happen, and Takagi gave a Valentine's Day to Nishikata for fun, of course. And yes, it's no love letter, but yeah, it still has the image of it. Well, because if she gave a guy the letter, specifically Nishikata, and he says yes, it is no different from any typical case. Nice job, author. Then, there's the separation. Haha, I make this sound worse than Titantic, but considering  they move the tables to prevent STD transfer (lol) I may have to reconsider this analogy. Yeah, this just means the couple(s) won't be sitting close to each other already, I guess. Yep. You wish. After what seems like a dream, Nishikata (and me) woke up to see Takagi-san beside him (and me, to a deja vu of this scene) (I swear I haven't watched this episode before this) just because. Well, I won't reveal all of them here, so be sure to find out yourself. And with the flashback, Nishikata decided to give back the one thing be picked up? Wait, then why in the flashback Takagi still has the handkerchief? #plothole Okay I'll overlook that I can't tell them to change it already. (Or maybe I wasn't paying attention enough) All in all, loved how this ended, and I must say, it is all about Takagi-san. And her sweet, sweet infatuation for the gullible boy known as Nishikata. This, is a good romance show. I know it's involving middle schoolers, but I want to see a high school version. A college version. You know. I want to see them grow up. They do that in all modern-day drama, why not this? *shock* I... I just got teased. #DamnYouTakagiSan
This show in a nutshell xD
This show in a nutshell xD
To sum it up, here's the last "Please No Nishikata Manual" tips for this series:
  • You can just go home to find out who wrote the letter by: Putting the textbook away for a second, letting it drop, and do that to let someone ask you to take it out again, hopefully without the letter.
  • Love letters are not an obligation to go out with whoever asked it; you can always say no.
  • "There's going to be a seat change? Well, it's been (not) good knowing you" lol
  • DO THINGS LIKE A MAN, NISHIKATA. The "like" and "lose" thing is relatively cheap compared to the embarrassment you take in every time and the push-ups you do every time you lose. (Okay, the "lose" part I can understand though)
P.S. One of the Joke Day... jokes I got tricked into was the announcement (and full-on change of the website) of a new Anime of "Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-chan" ie. the girl as a kid, probably without Nishikata. Clearly, that was going to be a future Anime original (if you knew the three manga serialisations) . Remember how WWW.WORKING!! wasn't a thing like, five years ago? Personally I want Oohara Yuiko to sing the new opening theme song and the new ending themes to be covers of kids' songs haha
P.P.S. Did I say Takagi-san Yukari-chan Mina-chan was MVP of the whole series? Like, did I say that?? Haha you guys don't know how attractive were those eyebrows lol
[LAST OMAKE!!!]
kick kick kick

アニメ Dagashi Kashi 2
Hmm, let's end this on a serious note. The last episode of the series (#DagashiKashiS212) focuses on the biggest cliffhanger this show has ever given us: The return of Hotaru. And above all things unsettled, they add on to it as if they want this to be a bigger mystery. But in this case, the Anime decided to end things around Kokonotsu, it seems. Hotaru was busy getting herself a company to run (man, this girl), Kokonotsu screwed up his manga interview (heck), Yutaka was the elder brother of Hotaru for some reason (which shouldn't be revealed at this time of the show), and You-san is back. Without a legacy. Because no one wants him now lol. Well, not only that, but hey, if the sponsors need more audience please help do a season 3 to resolve all these thanks! Okay, to production. Again, I blame the lack of time for the episode that this kinds of things are too easily summarised (I mean, "I've got so many questions to ask and in the end I just didn't" is not a good summary) and simplified I just feel it's missing out on something. I guess it's still better than the empty spaces created in the first season of this series where too little was featured in each episode, but this technically didn't make it better. I expected more, Anime. A better ending theme song (ugh), a longer storyline (I guess you can't get too many sponsors squeezed into one episode), and a better conclusion. But hey, I'm not really complaining. But yeah, the only thing I laughed to this episode is that Hotaru hear someone call Kokonotsu the manger. *laughs* Boy did I laugh it out. I guess you just have to see this show with a level of casualness otherwise it's hard to convince to watch this anyway. There is too little content to call if development considering how little it is in season one and how excessive it is in season two. But I'll say it ended on a good note. And that's pretty important. Kokonotsu running in with Hotaru? I'd like to see that! (Yeah it's a figment of my imagination, huh)
What should've been the whole of season two
P.S. Bear in mind I wasn't angry or disappointed, I was just unsatisfied. There's so much going on the show (and the manga) I just want to see this as a proper Anime that is not ridden with sponsorships is it really that hard??? *looks at Japanese bureaucracy* Okay nvm haha

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
I'm like "Hina-chan how can you not know Kiriyama is into BL" lol
Just in case you need a clue of why they don't dare to say "ochi...ru" on Hina-chan's test day, here's a hint. The new episodes to end the series (#3Lion43) (#3Lion44) is surprisingly, played back-to-back. (Well, I consider a day's difference back-to-back), and I don't know where to start now. Okay, since they feel totally different, let's split all the things up to three main stuff: Hina-chan, Kiriyama, and everything else. I'm giving this series a proper sendoff. Ready? Let's start!
Hina-chan panic...
...spreads real well in the family do this happen like this cat owners?
HINA-CHAN
The second last episode gives us the final focus on Hina-chan's prescence in Kiriyama's life for the series. And it concluded well, with Hina-chan's graduation from that darned middle school to his high school, and everything else in between that the aunt suspected but didn't come true. But hey, great pair, isn't it? And considering she's not going to grab hold of the great Takahashi who is pursuing his dreams away from town, Kiriyama is a good second choice haha. Okay, not that. But yeah, ever since his departure, Hina-chan has changed a lot. She got into high school, for goodness sake. She helped the family, got over the middle school bullying incident and is visiting Chiho-chan (the REAL victim) from time to time, she got her hair cut... all in all it was wonderful. [Insert moment for me to laugh at the hairstyle] Hina-chan has come far since the first time we knew her as a bubbly and positive girl. She's all grown up, this little girl. And as Akari a bystander (pun not intended, YUKI-san) I feel happy for her.
Can someone put this in the next Playboy magazine?? lol
The artists have gotten WAY too good at this btw
KIRIYAMA
For the main guy, it's a different story. He took a journey back to visit his stepmother (hey she's still your mom), at the right time, at the right location. From the mother's narration it feels like Kiriyama is holding it all in considering (I think we've gone through this in season one) he's the victim of a car accident, but I don't think so. Actually, he might just be a good guy after going through all the trauma. Hey, sometimes, it takes an accident to change us. That's why they are called life-changing events, man. But seriously, as we have probably mentioned before, it's out of respect. To the stepfather who he might cross paths but in the professional career, but to his childhood who might otherwise got awry. Hmm what else... he gained some confidence. And that is real important. Burying the past behind him, living alone, and having help from the Kawamoto family definitely helped him out a lot, and of course people from the shougi field (exceptions do apply) who are with him, from Shimada, his best friend (self-claimed) Nikaidou, and more. All these, he got it through his life of chess. That, you can never get from a broken family. Really, this motivation is something.
Can't have too much Momo so here is more hehe
EVERYTHING ELSE
Well, from the grandpa trying to keep himself alive to pay bills and see his kids get married (RIP Momo's wedding may she marry early to a rich guy lol), Akari going crazy about teenager thoughts (I mean, she is still one she just... works with men), Momo being Momo (haha) and more which went throughout the episode and all, the show ended well by not bringing up too much of shougi, which to be honest is not the essence of the show. This show meant to tell a story. Even though it sounds like a bibiliography for a kid of chess, but in reality it is about the kindness. The struggles. The joy. The pain. And everything else in between which made this story touching and enjoyable. Really, this show would be real different if the stepmother's dream was true haha none of the three kids will do shougi like the father lol

To sum things up, I don't want this to end. Unfortunately I can't find any more supporting evidence to say there's a season three. *sob* Now I'm feeling sad. I really want this to go on. Forever. Is this it? For canon material? Hmm maybe, but I just feel like it's missing something. But hey, as a grow-up story, it'll never end, isn't it? *shock* I see. Then this is good enough. I'm satisfied. I may just have gone way too much to ask for more. I mean, look at how long is this already; I'm crying more than Hina-chan has ever cried in this show lol okay I'll stop

P.S. "What if the fever doesn't go down?" Then we're FUCKED!! lol okay just joking Hina-chan you think too much you'll be fine
P.P.S. Kayanon's Akari's "kya" for MVP this series haha I'll leave it to find out where it is yourself hehe
(Okay let's give this show a little rant. WAY too little animations already tbh. I think you noticed that too at the Kiriyama trip to visit the stepmother, but hey, if it's for storytelling it works I must say so that's the least of our problems)

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
Ah, so they took a later chapter and adapted into the Anime. And boy have I saw that animated. The new chapter (121) played on the game that Tou-kun was supposedly playing with Kokonotsu: the debt-collecting game. Well, just that the new hire Hajime-san know nothing about it so haha you can see the problem. The familiar 8-figure chocolate dagashi appeared for once (if you never had that you have no childhood), and yeah it probably didn't have that dramatic of an effect as it had on Tou-kun as it had on me I have no recollection of that stuff lol I only eat Rochers haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
I think this segment will be wonderfully summarised by the end of my report drill and the Moment I specially made on Twitter featuring the stuff I heard on Apple Music this week.
I'll give a short summary. yucat's new mini-album didn't hold up as much as I thought it would be because I might just reject the one song I was about to give too, SOROR's new album which literally started from me hearing the one song from Kouno Marika was rather disappointing because it was remastered ie. the styles for electronic music will change drastically in this case, and yeah, I might just be skipping the album version and going with the single version. On the other hand, I found a couple of melodies I might just want to give. Reminds me of sasakure.UK's album I gave back in 2013 which... is probably better than this because of the music style maybe. Cocoro Auction's new full album (and finally under major label, not independent) was kind of okay, but way different than I imagined. Maybe they've moved on already? It sure was hard to give them songs based on melody, but even then the style is such a turn off. I miss those melodies I give with a mellow mood; kind of what I was here for in the first place. Well, next time then. ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION's new best album features one new song, and despite it being very Ajikan it still doesn't go down my alley. I mean, that single from last year was way better.

Outside Apple Music, we also have a couple of releases to take note of. Hayami Saori's new single (for Anime "Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card Arc") was okay in the topic song and I seriously thought the second review of the year would be this, but I'm keeping my wallet for now hehe. Anime "Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san" ending theme album also came out, but now after what I've heard from the final episode I've regretted not voting for the last ending song in the Twitter polls posted earlier this week. Well, I don't really watch Anime on weekdays and this airs on Monday nights literally the night before I go to school for the week... you get the point. I'm not giving these though because to be honest they aren't as good overall, and I've given Ikimonogakari and Chatmonchy. So oh well. Takahashi Rie (better known as "Rieri") sounds great in this though. We getting the solo artist career soon?

This is it then. Again, sorry for the late post. I got to go for prayers (not church btw) in the morning and I had to wake up early so half the day was burnt. And even besides the long weekend with Good Friday over here it's still not enough to touch on the stuff I missed (not written here, I mean) because of schoolwork. And I'm not even done yet. Three presentations pending, a buttload of assignments... this month is going to be crazy. Cya guys next week then, and until then... oh when the new Anime coming out? I better check simulcast dates first then. Bye!

P.S.
Nice joke. Aoi-chan. No really, the shot has got to be awkward. Then again, I think I took a shot at that already haha no I was joking this is not enough for my standards (oops)

P.P.S. All Joke Day tweets are image archived because they will disappear in... like 6 minutes maybe. Yes, including my tweet.
