In Economics, The Law of Diminishing Returns states that:

...profits or benefits gained from something will represent a proportionally smaller gain as more money or energy is invested in it.

I wonder if this is similar with musical bands? Let's find out together in another #KN15YEARS post!

So hey! Welcome back. I thought of a great idea I've been experiencing recently, and I wished I thought of this earlier writing the earlier posts, so maybe I should talk about it now after all. I know we are technically done with this so far but continuing from the posts earlier this year, I feel like I can slot this in so relevant, I sometimes wonder why this eventually is the case.

Heck, still better than full bands disbanding amirite fellas??? *silence*

A BAND BEING TOGETHER

So, in case you don't know what music bands and/or groups are, let me fill you in. I'll talk more about how they function, because compared to a solo artist, these guys obviously do not get the full cut of the pay check if they were to try to keep themselves alive, such as with indie bands, and most of them will still be doing regular jobs apart from having this side job. As you progress to major music labels, your pay check I assume should be more stable no matter the number of members you have in your gang, but in this case, with the power of major label breathing down your neck, you are *sometimes* compelled to do things different from your usual style which has its pros and cons, like when you have to write for an Anime or drama series. Still, we cannot deny that this is at least how bands function today in Japan, and that can only means better things going on... or does it? 

WHY THE MEMBERS KEEP LEAVING

I like to think many a times, members keep leaving ate due to a couple of factors, so let me explain. Firstly, moving to a major music label. Yep, what makes them grow is also potentially their own poison. If you have been a keen ear for music following artists from when they were indie to their success, one would realize no matter how subtle that change is, that bands will transit into being more song production-focused instead of  song writing-focused, meaning that quality of any song may not matter that much as long as we can slap a electronic programmer or wind orchestra into the set. You may think this is making the music better, but one can easily notice why this is not relevant for example on rock bands when they don't bring the whole accompanying instrument team to the next rock festival, the song won't sound as good anymore. And that can be a drug in itself; what makes the song better also makes it feel cheaper and less representative of the band's style. But of course, this is not talking about everyone as bands like SHE'S and Ryokuoushoku Shakai make good use of their transition to major label, making them excel. But for occult styles like LILI LIMIT, I'm afraid that might even be a block as they struggle to find an audience to associate or just deviate from their unique style trying to.

Next, there's the diminishing returns idea. Let's assume for a moment, that bands are essentially based on one person, a single composer and producer. *looks at FINLANDS* *laughs* To add more to the band means paying more for the same production level unless you totally do not deal with other instruments or musicians involved with the production of such material (look at the back of the booklet of any physical release to find out more) in which will function well as a full-fledged band, but that also means they can be replaceable at any time feeling their lesser in importance, for example when Chatmonchy had to deal with their drummer leaving as they switch roles and instruments all around and also collaborating with other bands to make their music happen. And with the music trends moving and changing over time, older bands tend to fade away due to lack of popularity, and that is normally a time where bands will think of whether to move on, whether they have the backing of major label or not, which is what I assume is the reason for my beloved 2000s band Aqua Timez.

Then, there's the personal reasons. A lot of the band members that just chose to leave - especially if they aren't even doing as well and that is a metric we won't know unless we are them - to focus on their personal life, whether it's another career or just family, such as with Ikimonogakari's "secondary" composer and producer Yamashita-san, AILA's departure which led to the end of Lil'B, and Tokyo Karan Koron on their mom-to-be female vocalist. Remember, we just never saw the above, we only know of this reason just because.

HOW IT AFFECTS BANDS

At least in Klassic Note, we have seen many take a variety of rather predictive approaches including and not a complete list of the following:

• Use of "non-organic" methods to change music production/display
• Replace with new members
• Downsize or even disband

As I mentioned earlier, music production scaling is always just a trap in itself, and I don't think it's just because band members leave that this will ramp up, and it can also be because of this ramping up that will make the music not as good as the members would have wanted, but considering music production decision normally is down to a few people *sometimes* not involving all the band members themselves I have no idea on this, then maybe that it what it will take to make the music the same quality as before or better, if that is to be heard by the audience in due time.

Replacement of new members is normally the easiest way to do so if the band has their own acquaintances, such as with the revolving cast with ORESKABAND and their brass members due to their niche Ska genre which isn't popular in Japan but is overseas, and the members of VELTPUNCH changing each other album apart from the two main vocalists which are producers and composers themselves. Also worth mentioning are how KANA-BOON dealt with the... erratic behaviour of their missing bassist, how HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR had to try again for a few more years with a new female vocalist and eventually stopped a few years later, and basically every other idol group because they are as replaceable as paper cups in a pantry since they don't have the "band" aesthetic which is why maybe I should not talk about these cases.

And if they can't do any of the above due to lack of support from major label, bands can also choose to live with lesser band members on their team, typically compensating by doing lesser instrumentals in their songs or multitasking as percussions can be more diverse and one can technically do without certain levels of instruments in a song, but that is song production talk. SpecialThanks sit on the streets of Akihabara today to live with two members despite being four-member band just a couple of years ago. In more extreme cases though, bands like Yogee New Waves may choose to go on hiatus to re-evaluate their position after their guitarist left which might as well lead to their disbandment but let's not say for sure. Or as they snowball, the dissociation of Kalafina producer Kajiura-sensei also gave opportunity for their 3 singing members to leave the group and pursue their solo music careers which, once again, gave them more freedom (and money) to choose the style they want to achieve and not be stuck with their previous self, even if it's not going to be as popular as they are before.

Of course, there are exceptions to this change, such as with rock "band" FINLANDS with the vocalist and producer Fuyuko-san holding down the helm along with her solo artist career, so what else is there to say about these? Some are also inevitable in its nature, with the first in Klassic Note being the departure of Kuso Iinkai's vocalist and producer (RIP) bringing the band to an abrupt end and with no other decision to make. Holding on to the craft is as hard as you think it is, people. 

As I continue to pray for the survival of bands such as Cocoro Auction and nano.RIPE, I cannot help but think of how much smaller they will get because all they wanted is to make more music, or whether just like ORESKABAND and Base Ball Bear, they will have to downsize their members in order to fulfil something bigger than themselves. But I can only be more optimistic on whatever their decision may be, that is to preserve or continue on the genre or unique style of music they so love and enjoy making and playing. Hopefully by then we do not have to deal with Suchmos' unfortunate end before we even get interested in them so that inversely, we can help to promote their music to those who care.

The Klassic Note Review 2023.06

Well we are near the end of the month right now almost a month since this single released so I still hope it's relevant haha the only thing relevant is the delay and this appearing before the upcoming album lol

Hey, and welcome back. Didn't expect this to take this long, this could not have been part 2 for May since this released the last day of that month, so we are doing it the following month. Just, you know, didn't say when to do it so I might as well go on a shopping spree for a month, yes? Not like I can apply for the special bonus with the paper INSIDE of the CD, isn't it? Ironically it's longer though, 2 weeks long compared to the weekend of release date normally haha someone's being generous over here? No point I guess lmao

If you do not understand anything I said above that's fine, because I hope you like Anime songs!! It has been a while since I talked about more considering this is so typical of that genre, so let's!

(Well, thanks for not close-up anyways, not like the 3 of them can fit in close enough but the Regular Edition is coming up tops as usual)

Origin: Well well, what have we got here? If you would recall of Anime group trio TrySail from last year, we have once again chanced upon an Anime release I would love to talk about, though less relevant as I did not watch the series, but at the least I know them well. Specifically of the girls in this idol group from MusicRay'n though, we should be familiar with voice actresses (from left to right of cover art) Natsukawa Shiina in yellow, Asakura Momo in pink and Amamiya Sora in blue, where they display their cutest and/or coolest for Anime and beyond. This time around, thanks to the gamer-oriented Anime series they were credited for, and ironically featured in its two opening theme songs thus the call for a double A-side release, they are here to convey the transition between the alternate world's game addiction to potential immersion and even confession in the loveliest way possible.

(1) Karei One Turn [Gorgeous One Turn]

From first verse:

"Stress (is a) big enemy! (Let's eat) chocolate, potato chips, beef bowl (to destress)

Piling up mouthfuls for motivation!... Also blew away the sense of guilt

(I have) done it again... Oh well whatever"

This should get the attention of many on the first time you hear it, but for my case maybe it's really me understanding the lyrics too well, but the gamer talk in the lyrics about SSR and turns and levelling up sure is aggravating as it is also super relevant to the Anime credit it was in, so I cannot even complain to say the least. I ended up liking the pop beats in this song, the melody is better than the Anime usual which is nice, their usual fast tempo in singing is also exhibited here among other things from the different vocalists, it's overall a nice song to listen to. If you don't even get the lyrics then all the more this will appeal to you, not to say the appeal of the Anime series to the young masses in the first place. The music video expands this even further, making the girls look their part for the credit. Girl gamers, but cuter.

As usual, the other side is probably what got me more into this release in the first place. On first impression, this is definitely a more palatable piece, with a simpler melody despite a longer bridge part which is typical, and more relevant lyrics as the Anime takes a turn for romance in the second half of the series, changing the mood from hyper to somewhat sweet even romantic, and I can't stop saying nice things about it in the lyrics. I guess listening to this over time, I can never get over the extra notes on every other line of the melody which is typical of Anime songs today to distinguish themselves apart, but I still think this is a decent song that I will like over time. The lyrics just sing to me of someone who desire company I assume with relation to playing video games, but still. It's something to be embarrassed about, and that is what makes of a good love song, isn't it?

Rating: Lovingly Below Average

Conclusion: This is quite a single I have heard from TrySail for quite a while, last time being exactly a year ago with an Anime that I watched. Even then, this single delivers in its unique message of gamer talk with cute girl singing voices, so it will appeal to the male audience much easier than ever despite not being under a strong Anime series credit. If you aren't interested in the Anime like me, then this is still a wonderful single, combining all the hype about pop songs and adding some spice into it, this is easily a recommendation to listen to outside from the mainstream.

(I sound harsh, isn't it? Haha I gotta say initial impressions aren't great so I'm writing that out. A month later though... I actually love these songs because they are so different from everything I'm listening this month already, I cannot ask for anything better *giggles* Unrelated you think my video game-loving imouto Nan-chan is triggered by the lyrics in the songs? *laughs*)

THE PACKAGE

The moment I knew, buying from a different store was worth all the effort (and money)

I hinted earlier I got this under a huge package and it's also the reason why this took so long, but heck, you can read that on another post, we will talk about specifically just the physical music release here!

As you can see, it's the usual fanfare of CD plus special gift bromide photo with the only exception that this time around, I opted for an online store I otherwise could not buy from directly, so thanks TSUTAYA ONLINE SHOPPING for giving this gift to me featuring the artist image I really did not intend to buy a used one through auction house. *giggles* Otherwise, you would be glad to know this is the best on the list of photos I have seen, but you know, other ones exist like Animate (which I bought used lmao), HMV Japan because Nan-chan is cute hehe, 7-Net Shopping or even Rakuten Books are also fine. 

In addition, and since I hinted (lol) in the intro I will explain in detail here, normally (because it's related to MusicRay'n) they would rather prefer you to pre-order the releases, get them shipped to you within the week from the release date of Tuesday which is one day before the actual referred to as "Flag Day", and because the application window is smaller it's meant to target these fans, but I assume maybe considering this is a end of month release and they are being generous(?), the application window has been extended to one month later ie. end of the month ie. a day after this review, so I'm lucky to have caught on. I just wish I can win something over here I opted for the bromide set because see previous post lmao because damn I will never hang a huge poster in my room *looks at Moeshi calendar* nor do I need a tote bag for anything else since I literally bought one- It's nice to have constraints, huh. Well, for bromides there is no limit I'll buy as many photo albums to house them *dabs*

Well, that's all. Hopefully I will spend more time on this blog today and tomorrow (that table on the previous post took me a lot of time tbh) to also push out more posts for Klassic Note I have one more #KN15YEARS post I want to do, and then we will dive into the new season of Anime this weekend!

The Welfare Package June 2023: The Auction House Journey Part 3 Desires Reloaded

Well, I thought this will appear on this weekend earliest but turns out this starting my long week break is already making this the best day ever! For the week! For the month even! For the year- Yeah why not my phone replacement is also here too haha HELL YEAH DUDE

Cannot be more high about anything up until now, but damn did I had to set up the phone a bit before we can start this and trust me I have a long night considering tomorrow's a public holiday and everyone is taking work leave the day after *dabs*, I could take some time to sleep tonight knowing that this bunch of photos came in for the worst timing possible because this should have been on Friday and I STILL HAVE TO DO A KLASSIC NOTE REVIEW?? Maybe I do that tomorrow haha

For today though, maybe we talk about why this is named Part 3, shall we?

THE ORIGIN

If you would recall, some time ago and yes it has been like 6 years ago since then, for the first time I ventured into the world of Japanese auction house to you know, get some deals on the cheap and/or rare items one would otherwise never get through normal means. But normal is not what happened back then, not even the second time I did it in almost 4 years since the previous one, because as online stores like Suruga-ya became more prevalent, and my ways of purchasing directly the latest stuff from stores especially photos from people I know (I thank PONY CANYON's online store Canime specifically for this), there has become less reason to even get into this trade at all. But that doesn't mean it can cover all bases, because even in recent years, printed bromides are also increasingly hard to get especially when they want you to be physically there, and with some cases, make this still a compelling run to date despite higher costs to obtain them in the first place.

As to how this season 3 (lol) all started this time around... well, to put this short, it started off with TrySail's new single. *laughs* Well, more specifically, it started with me wanting to go through another of this trip again to curb my sadness after I broke my phone last month (tomorrow is the one month anniversary lol), decided to get a phone replacement from overseas... AND also buying more stuff since I really can't do much on this old phone especially playing mobile games and it's just a good excuse since spoiler alert, I wanted to buy the CD mentioned above from TSUTAYA in which the store doesn't accept overseas debit cards. So yeah, through a proxy buying service such as Buyee here my long time accomplice partner for almost a decade, while waiting for them to make purchase and deliver it so I can ship it out, I was like heck, why not get some bromide photos to pad the order while I'm at it? And here we are. *giggles*

And boy did I regret this on many fronts. I was quickly reminded of the pains of making purchases from Yahoo Japan Auctions with one of the bids which I had to outbid I will mention who later it's Rieri haha *dabs*, and throughout this month I was on and off checking in almost every day to see if there was anything else worth buying apart from the... more rare ones which won't be seen anywhere else, not even from those Suruga-ya runs we have discovered that online store which sells these stuff specifically. So yeah, it was a lot of joys and laughs, my hands got itchy and bought the last of Mocho bromides last week only to delay it for another couple of days, and boy am I glad I can even get this one shipped by the end of this month.

THE PACKAGE

This run mainly focuses on getting bromides for people who I have known recently so you can guess who they are I mention them rather often here hehe, as well as also get my hands on the latest stuff because just this month alone, the new Seiyuu Grand Prix aka Seigura magazine released featuring Takahashi Rie (hehe) and Amamiya Sora's TWO new photobooks also released a couple of weeks ago, so I was just here to wait for the prices if these free gifts (lol) to drop and swoop in on the stuff I want. *giggles* Problem is that Buyee was such a good or bad sport depending on how you think about it, gave out 5% vouchers for purchasing items from the partner platforms, then 7%, and even 20% VOUCHERS on one day on the 24th if I didn't remember wrongly, so they can make me regret purchasing everything slowly but surely over time and even missing the peak of discounted items I can't even. *laughs* *sob* Then again, some are auctioned items so they may be gone before these vouchers arrive, however most of them this time around were purchased from online flea market service Mercari, which is different from the auction house because it functions as a normal online store and I did not need to pay for the (hidden) local shipping fees if the seller doesn't do so, so I could've waited to get them since they don't expire as fast ie. outbids not required lol. Time was a concern to make sure this arrives by this week so compromises were made nonetheless.

So, to expand on the photos shown, I will try to be as detailed as possible about each photo's origin and backstory (lol) before I forget, in chronological order of purchase:

• Soon after purchasing TrySail's new single from TSUTAYA ONLINE SHOPPING end of May, I went ahead and made the purchase from Mercari, Kanno Mai's VOICE+ bromides which can only be obtained in print (a service known as Print Tune) directly from Japanese convenience stores which unless I have a friend who can do this for me physically in which then they won't cost a bomb, but I can do that alone or online so I'm just glad I can get this only one that is available throughout all the stores and auction house. Don't know why the condition of them is decolourized(?) though the product page thumbnail looks okay and not at all photoshopped... (What are the chances it's re-scanned and printed? *silence*)
• A day later and the bulk of most of my purchases from Mercari have been confirmed but including, and I should not have done that just because, since I can't find anything good on Moeshi on the stores and auction house, I took the liberty to buy the last of Toyota Moe birthday bromides from Gamers from last year (lol which is set C and yes there is an A and B) to pad the order even though I thought it hardly necessary since I can buy them directly and the shipping for this here is kind of expensive so this was a mistake after all. *laughs* Among the Mercari ones though, some Aizawa Saya bromides joined in on the fun considering so far up till now I can only buy bromides directly from her livestream series parent company Voice Garage which are already good but I can use with more variety. *giggles*
• I then started on the Yahoo auction house shenanigans exactly 4 years after I did the previous one back in 2nd June 2019 no joke, placing snipe bids (last minute auto purchases) of Waki Azumi's new single bromides set because someone was a true fan to get this from a fan event to make me happier (not as happy as if that dude if he would even remove the duplicates to her 2nd live bromides set so I can buy it hehe) but now I have regretted because all of them had a bent on the top left corner which made them the worst conditioned items, Ueda Reina bromide and clear file set (comes with purchase of her album last year from Animate) because why not I liked her music the special gifts were a given lol I did not even buy them by the way, and the one Koga Aoi Seiyuu Animedia bromide because hers is so rare and underrated I can get it at 50 yen, the cheapest single item in the list. *silence* I'll take it haha
• I continued on my journey to buy more bromides from Natsukawa Shiina's new single back in May because why not they are cute and Suruga-ya doesn't have them on stock, and went down the auction house rabbit hole from here for the rest of the week buying left and right Kouno Marika bromide from her trading card set if you would recall from last year and with purchase you can get larger-than-card photos depending on the store and/or event this one was from Gamers, and TrySail Seigura bromides from 2021 because I've not gotten them so far.
• The breakthrough honestly though, was both from Rieri as it was the only time I had to outbid once for Takahashi Rie's recent Anime "Oshi no Ko" magazine collaboration bromide (How can you not after seeing the magazine's official tweet? And I don't even watch the damn show) from the auction house, and also waiting for the right time to make a swift purchase on its release date, Takahashi Rie's Seigura bromides as people are consolidating them left and right because what better way to support your gal's cover on the magazine by buying all of them and selling the gifts afterwards. *laughs* Yeah they got me good even further as I know to not see the prices continue to drop after I find a deal good enough to splurge, and give myself time to let the rest come in before consolidating the package. *silence* Now that just sounds like an excuse to myself haha really should have waited a little longer thinking back especially with the vouchers these aren't cheap considering they were fresh off the... shelf? Fresh off someone's apartment I guess lmao
• Around here was also where I stopped playing with the auction house though, as many of the other stuff are more reliable and/or cheaper in purchase from flea market site Mercari, and that's how I got most of the rest in due time slowly starting from Ueda Reina's other bromide based on the same mini-album last year and then realizing I should take my time as more vouchers appeared over time in increasing discount so oh well, if not pushed for time right now I would have done this more carefully. Among them are also a TrySail bromide and recent live tour pass card set because I was worried my TrySail single will not come with a special gift granted that Buyee was purchasing it for me... and it takes a couple more days after my clicks which is why I rather reserve my purchase directly if possible and also how this is the fall back, a special Kanno Mai's mini photobook special bromide which is the highest priced single item in the list here because I love her that much (hehe) and these two Amamiya Sora's photobooks special gifts from HMV Japan just because I could not afford anything else better. Those other Ten-chan bromides? For 2 of them I can buy half the stock here, people.
• Worst thing was, in waiting for the Ueda Reina one to appear (the one from Mercari not the auction house lmao) and in view of Mocho's birthday I went on to tempt myself to buy some Asakura Momo Seigura bromides from last year to only know that the former shipped in a day afterwards so damn did I wait a couple more days for the latter to appear so that I can ship it out... last Thursday. Heck, it still took less than a week to appear here though!

So much emotion from this write-up haha yeah right? I know most of the rants are why I didn't wait to use the 20% because (1) I wouldn't know two weeks ago that this exists I didn't know this is the discount season, and (2) I would've missed this end of month break to do all of this now. In total, I've spent I think over 30k yen overall from buying stuff through Buyee partner shops (so excluding TrySail's single, Moeshi bromides) and that's what I set out to spend. About half of the amount is on the actual price of 23 bromides + 1 clear file so I can ship them using the other half of the budget. *silence* I have too much money to vent on, this is basically the same rate as the first time I did this 7 years ago despite the exchange rate being so much in my favour now. *laughs* So yeah, the price to pay for all this I guess but NOW, we know when we should do this again next time next year HAHAHA NEVER AGAIN PLEASE DON'T DO IT AGAIN ME I BEG OF YOU

Wow okay I now actually realized how much a blog sitemap might be important after trying it out on the GitHub clone yesterday because most of the reference images I grab for the next season Anime preview is basically using that page to search for the episodes I'm referring to after the recent update on all Entertainment News posts back till 2018. *silence* Maybe I do a sitemap for this main blog too haha this is main by the way

アニメ Summer 2023 Anime Preview

I've read the previews I've done so many years ago and realized I just cut to the chase on stuff that I like so let's ignore all the damn sequels I don't care especially that isekai genre bullsh*t and focus on what caught my attention this week apart from the stuff I already know. Anything from maybe to confirm watch will have images to show and/or premiere dates in brackets.

• "Oooku" (read as O-oku) sounds like haven but in historical Japan so unless you're into powerful women which I'm not let's move on haha
• Yes I will be watching unexpected sequel "Horimiya -piece-" [Premieres July 1st, 2023] to literally pick up the pieces of this love story which effectively concluded according to the Anime community so what else is there to offer? In this second season though, looks like they are picking snippets of their high school days and maybe beyond for all the characters, and talking about what happened in between, maybe more. We are welcomed back with a fantastic cast from main girl Tomatsu Haruka Hori-san falling in love with her weird boyfriend I forgot his name (lol) to secondary character love stories more powerful than the main couple (SAKURA-CHAN NO) there's something to like for anyone interested in this series. Though I'm only in as much as I think this is just going to be the underdog of the series compared to everything else I have to watch.
• "AYAKA" [Premieres July 1st, 2023] seems like an awesome original action Anime series that I might just watch by mistake because damn who doesn't want an Anime "Kekkaishi" sequel haha but yeah, maybe I watch an episode or two to see if the story or animation can impress me- Oh hello angela with the opening theme song long time no see
  
• Seeing that I have a lot to watch this season I might just drop watching "Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi" which is basically Anime "Senpai ga Uzai" but in this case this so-called "small" senior at work has a not-so-small rack. *laughs* I guess that's the only appeal and that is just WRONG haha we shall see if I will pick her up
• Okay somehow the trailer for "Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha" [Premieres July 3rd, 2023] got me keen on the plot because damn besides being an interesting love story of my ideal way to get a girl in my student days because I don't look this cool for anyone to look back at me lol, it also features a great cast of Natsukawa- Oh, that's the main girl's name. *laughs* A great female (who tf cares about dudes) side cast (because main cast looks like newbie pair) of Hanamori Yumiri, Komatsu Mikako and Ishihara Kaori just to name a few, as we see main guy try to ignore this girl he has been trying to woo for a while and see the girl like him back after his enthusiasm dies down. Yeah, Anime "Otonari no Tenshi-sama" but better. *laughs* Animation-wise not so much and that is just sad for the price of making such a series nowadays.
• Oh yeah, this sh*t. *laughs* "Suki na Ko ga Megane wo Wasureta" [Premieres July 4th, 2023] is such a good premise for an Anime alone because I'm a simp for slice-of-life AND romance series ESPECIALLY a girl with glasses, also turns out to be super not relatable to me as the girl forgets to wear them for the n-th time. *giggles* Nice guy next seat helps her out not just out of compassion, and love blossoms. Easy, huh. Also if you liked Anime "Aharen-san" this is basically the same but closer. *giggles* I'm liking this already to be honest I have never been this close to anyone, really. *silence*
• Isekai but as a vending machine lmao F**K OFF
• Man, this is such a shoujo Anime I don't think "Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon" is any similar to Anime "Taisho Otome" and boy did Ueda Reina voicing the main girl get me... just in name lol the trailer is just a meh for me, but damn, straightforward but sad story about historical romance? Hey if anyone is interested in this level of sadness and also likes the dudes then this is for you- I can see this is very female audience targeted haha
• The theme songs in this are rad though, I might just give the songs by accident. *giggles* "Undead Girl Murder Farce" sounds like a mystery series where in this case "The Detective Is Dead" but in a world where the undead exist. You know how that works. Oh yeah, and what's left is the head instead of heart, the duo solves mysteries just by hanging on (get it?) a line of truth and walking around with a cage with a head inside. *silence* Nah haha I want to sleep on Sunday nights this is no dullahan at all Anime "Demi-chan" is cuter-
• Oh hey yo let's do this I guess because "Kanojo, Okarishimasu 3rd Season" [Premieres July 7th, 2023] is back with another hit to (likely) conclude the story between main guy Kazuya with his girlfriend grandparents-agreed partner business partner to give main girl Chizuru's mother a great time before she (potentially) passes away without seeing her only granddaughter's achievements in the acting industry. Sadly, we got more girls joining the fray and she's not huge she is just Mini lol great joke, possibly spoiling the balance of souls in here (haha) with her accent and role as Kazuya's junior, throwing off the sense of romance on all the characters in the series as we finally find out if Chizuru will give this main guy literally ANY chance to be his lover. *silence* Can we not have a season 4 and end this season without a movie adaptation please? *laughs*
• "AI no Idenshi" we are not talking about this because AI news are blowing up by the week I need a break from that lol
• Oh yeah this is basically Anime "Senko-san" but cooler lmao because damn is "Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu" in the most interesting premise ever for such a caretaker series because they flipped the story to make the female human busy whilst a male... cat? *laughs* A male cat takes care of her. Anyone? Anyone interested in this though?? Update me if it's good haha
• Hell yeah we are back with another season with "Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen – Ketsubetsu-tan" [Premieres July 8th, 2023] and tell me I won't watch my very first action series Anime to its completion with its final arc in second season, because are the introduction of new cast members enough to make me foam at the mouth haha NAOBOU!! *laughs* We are still warming up on the fights as we wait for the invading Quincy Army to strike again on the innocent shinigami who doesn't know of its past. *silence* Please, I ONLY specialize in writing propaganda haha or I already know the story to say that lol but hey, not gonna stop me from the excitement though. First season has delivered in the fights and subsequent ones should if this is what entails.
• So "Temple" is just "Love Hina", got it. *laughs* MOVING ON the trailer is so lame I stopped at the first confession
• This might be the next hype thing after "BLEACH" to be honest as hopefully we can conclude this series with "Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid 2nd Season" [Premieres July 9th, 2023] (*ack* 2nd *ack*) because remember the last time the mom said the main guy is to find a cure before the following year spring or else leadership of the family will pass on from the mother to the 2nd son *ack* (haha) Walter and I guess Bocchan himself still can't marry Alice for the same reason, that curse of physical contact. So yeah, hopefully we will get somewhere with this series and not Walter romancing a woman lol why but yeah, can't wait for more Inorin Viola action I love getting talked down to by a younger sister lmao wait what (Hey, best scene in season 1, okay? I voted on it)
• Okay whoever wrote the summary for "Dark Gathering" I read until "ghosts love him" and I'm done lol
• Not even Tomita Miyu as main girl will make me watch "Ayakashi Triangle". Heck, "AYAKA" just now is still better lmao this is just caressing girls lol
• Okay maybe this is the next hype thing after "BLEACH" haha remember when I said FIVE sequels? The 5th one on the line is the 5th (deja vu) season of "Bungo Stray Dogs" [Premieres July 12th, 2023] where hopefully we can catch that dude holding the final page of the book so the world doesn't collapse to ruin. *silence* If this even piques you just a bit you can give it a chance because damn is this by far still the next best action series I'm interested in the 15 years I watched Anime after "BLEACH". Says a lot about this literary author name-based human-extension-of-power series since it aired in 2016 but hey, I guess I like this more than the average viewer, who knows.

Also, super long writeup again. *laughs* I mean, having to deal with (for me) record-breaking FIVE sequels this upcoming season is already a pain, and I have a couple of series I'm interested including AN ACTION SERIES?? *silence* I need to reconsider my weekends now if I want to watch all of this. In this final episode of a lovely series I would recommend my sis to watch (#SkiLo12), I think the only thing I got out of this is... Can't we reflect on the ugly past as we see the beautiful present? Hey, Ririka-san? *giggles* Hey F**K YOU, understand? *laughs* Now that I got the venting out of the way, let's talk about Shima's mother. She's scared. Well, she's scared after being scared off by Ririka-san so I think that's not on her but this b*tch Ririka- We need an abbreviation for this woman I'm going to mention her a lot. *laughs* I like to believe the mom reflected on her own actions after being relieved from the stress that is marriage and still be proud that his son can finally live his own life once again... until this Ririka had to remind her about the past. *sigh* Can we just erase this woman, really? *laughs* No, not the mom, we still need someone to take care of Keiri-kun. Anyways, not like these two women are alone Shima's bestie Chris is there to fill him in on the details and confirm his suspicions, and I guess he really can't do much about it... apart from telling her to move on. Yes, in case you didn't understand what Shima was conveying to Ririka at the alleyway after the class play, this is probably what he meant. To move on, to stop dwelling on the past even if it's his entire fault. And that's why Shima mentioned about helping Ririka get over how she feels being hurt by the guy for whatever reason we don't need to know, and maybe it's just because, but Ririka feels this envy. She felt it real hard, and as she cries on taxi on the way home, Chris was right to mention about her persistence in wanting this childhood friend to do something about her life when just like Shima's, Ririka's life is entirely up to her. You didn't make Shima-kun yours in any capacity either so (1) why aren't you lol and (2) how have you lost to well, basically anyone else in his class? I know right, her advantage is there and I'm not talking about celebrity status (not with that middle finger lmao) but she just makes herself look bad, and I'm not talking about just her tigress image. So welp, try harder if you want him by your side again. Overall, the school festival ended well despite Shima missing his lines. Everyone ended up in a better position than they ever did even with Kanechika-senpai and that student council president which I didn't expect a lore drop even though who f**king cares lmao thanks for the flowers you jerk throwing that in the bonfire haha, and if this isn't the rose-coloured campus life (lol hey Anime "Yojouhan") you were expecting out of Mitsumi's trip to the capital to further her education, you... probably have a better life then they do. *laughs* I mean, just saying, this is just plain old good for a high school life. Then again, they are in their first year of high school mine was also kinda this level of great and everything just goes downhill the following year if you don't study- ANYWAYS haha this is such a joyride, I still think my worries about like, Shima's backstory might be overrated as I see it die down as soon as Ririka-san is provocation countered right from the start. So yeah, overall really impressed by the storytelling, we are not getting a confession from Shima-kun even with the great sunset and school festival curse of love hehe, so yeah, just a typical slice of life storytelling if you are into those kinds of things like I am. For me, I'm just glad I gave this a chance. Just like how I gave myself a chance in high school- Again, first year is awesome for me too I had a great time- Okay maybe not much I was envying the couples who got laid HAHAHA oh f**k me let me go cry alone or something

アニメ Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2

"Sleeping in a big bed was fantastic~" Yeah Nasa-kun especially with a woman-

WOAH WAIT LORE DROP IN THE INTRO?? *silence* Man, I asked for it and they delivered. *laughs* Dude, we are already at the final episode of this season already (#ToniKawaS212), can we relax with the lore a bit? I thought we are concluding the story between Nasa-kun and his wife Tsukasa and what awaits them moving on from their informal wedding ceremony up the hill. Apparently it's that, I barely had to summarize what happened anyways. They are still in the mountains where Tokiko had something to discuss with the son-in-law? Haha I don't know maybe it's the stepsister or elder to Tsukasa or something I don't even know the timeline anymore. They were interrupted by Tsukasa as usual, but at least I think later on we did get some more conclusion to what Tokiko's role as a guardian is in this series. Fast forward to the accumulation of what ended up to be the moonstone they(?) collected which stays at that mansion in that room, and Tokiko not remembering that the room is filled with nitrogen and passing out in there lol, probably knew her time might be up (I would argue otherwise she seems fit) but more of her taking care of Tsukasa herself. Thus, she passes the baton (and the stone lol) to Nasa-kun to continue the legacy of taking care of... whatever moon beast he might be holding on to that looks like a woman. *laughs* (Yeah I know of original work, what of it? lol I don't) Speaking of holding, Tsukasa does have a problem with Nasa-kun hugging her and so do I when I noticed that too so let's talk about that a bit haha. To keep it short, Tsukasa was right in talking about hugging with where your hands are placed dependent on the height of the other person, so if you are taller you put your hand above the other so you can pull in closer. Hey this is a thing when you hug by the way how do I even know about this I don't remember. *laughs*  But yeah, she's right. Also right is Nasa-kun saying she sleeps messy and we have witnessed that so many times in this series already, so please Tsukasa, don't force Nasa-kun to install cameras in the bedroom to prove his point. *laughs* All in all, this is it huh. In the end we STILL did not get to know the full lore behind Tsukasa's story. FUCK!! *laughs* Oh well, see you guys in season 3 I guess. *sigh* Man, I really didn't want this to end this way, but just like Tokiko, not like I have a choice. *giggles* Maybe we will have some way to know of this in due time, as much as we are hinted, Anime production might not have much to conceal behind that old woman after this point. Maybe. *laughs* Well, for the season itself, rather stale. I mean, I was here for the married couple romance and stuff and thought it will still be exciting to watch, but between just flirting around and just hanging out, I don't think I remembered much from this series up till now. Yeah, the burning of the apartment they lived in is probably more headline worthy than anything else in the series. *laughs* I don't know dude, it's definitely dragging things out just like Tokiko talking about the 2-year period of Tsukasa helping her out with I don't know what specifically that is anyways, and we aren't even done yet! The recently announced OVA series will bring us even further into the rabbit hole of Nasa-kun's creative works it seems totally not related to the main story, and I guess at this point they are just keeping the series' name going. God forbid this will turn out to be some drag I will hate to watch at some point *looks at Attack on Titan*, so I might as well keep my mouth shut just like Nasa-kun would from listening to Tokiko, I suppose.

"I AM NOT SLEEPY AT ALL!!" This series in a nutshell haha

Yeah the kiss scene spoiled me real hard for this week, what of it? *laughs* Now you too will experience the pain first before we even talk about this new episode (#KimiSomu11), where there will be MORE PAIN if you think this is a happy series so DO NOT LET IT FOOL YOU haha okay me, you gotta relax. We always start out with something depressing featuring Nakami Ganta. This time, it's the mother. Oh hey, no surprise, no mom. No, as in, we STILL don't get to see the mother, she's just not even worth seeing. *silence* Yeah. Like, WHY THOUGH- Anyways I really can't swallow this let alone kid Nakami who is rather cute tbh haha, so let's just move on from this single parent family sadness- AIKO-SAN NO HE CAN'T MEET THE MOM SOMEDAY SHE JUST LEFT haha song title joke. Jokes aside though, I guess this might be that episode to talk about the sadness from why Nakami can't sleep at night. The confession before the actual confession, I suppose. We better talk about that first or else we can't proceed, I tell you. So, as what Nakami mentioned in one of the nights alone with Isaki, sharing his secret about why he can't sleep at night. We all already knew it's because of something, and if you need a more detailed description of what the flashbacks have shown plus his statement, here goes. Story goes that Nakami woke up one day with the house in a mess, the housewife missing, and the kid all alone at home. A morning he wished did not happen. Probably a good enough hint of what happened because the mother left the family, and let's not talk about what is the cause since I don't think a hardworking father is good enough reason to leave the house, but hey, we don't need to know about that. Or Nakami's feelings, and how he has to deal with that day he noticed something was amiss. Nonetheless, not his fault, but now he is just scared of sleeping because he has to face this reality now, of being abandoned. Of having to see this day again. Somehow I also feel that in a generic level now, but for different reasons because you will understand that when you are a working adult, but yeah, a longer today is better than tomorrow is probably what many youngsters feel in life nowadays. I just eventually sleep because my battery sucks. *laughs* Unhappy things aside, the couple (hehe) sure is enjoying their vacation out in the countryside. *laughs* Isaki is still playing around as usual even though it's rather detrimental to not have someone else like Shiromaru-senpai to take care of their belongings so they can flirt with each other- Yeah Isaki-chan the dude's carrying the camera which is the whole point of this journey; You want to hold this while he enjoys himself jumping on rocks and messing around in the water? It's so easy being best girl lol. With every passing day of them enjoying each other's company though, something's bound to happen isn't a weird thing to say at all. And to the best part. They nailed that real good though. If you missed the waves kissing each other you probably thought what I did, but if you didn't, go watch back again to understand why this is more *chef's kiss* than you would think. Because yeah, even without much reason. Without much motivation. Just from Nakami talking about his sad a** life. I gotta say though, Isaki-chan you can dry up a man's tears from just kissing? You guys should kiss more. *giggles* This series is sad enough with stories of the past to hit pain points, we can use more of this physical contact. Sometimes you just gotta sleep together to know that. *laughs* All in all... I mean, we still got 2 episodes left who the heck knows what will happen. I know right, Kanikawa coming in with the confession. *laughs* But before that happens I guess since Isaki did the thing, that Nakami might just return the favour to Isaki after all, after they are at least done with the training camp this time around. Hopefully without the sister haha what are the chances she got dumped and came back? *laughs* Man, I may think too much like Nakami but hey, what's stopping me? *giggles* See you next week.

As in no salt at all so just don't. *laughs* We also found out a little more from the sister Akina about the date of her sister with her boi haha, as apart from learning how to drink coffee at a café if you would recall the previous episode, she also went full on lady mode making sure her image is perfect for her boi. It's her boi after all- Why am I getting excited over this haha *wink* and even asking her sis to do her hair for her which thank you very much indeed (hehe) so that we can have the peak of this series be last week. *laughs* Then again, we should not forget about Shiraishi's birthday since literally no one will remember since no one will ask him haha *sigh*, but Kubo-san remembered. And that is all it matters, isn't it? Now he has to return the favour haha I will just ask her out and she will be so high it doesn't matter what you give her. *laughs* Yeah call me Love Master, thanks. *giggles* We also got some flashback on the start of the school term a year ago of why Shiraishi is barely noticed in class, since he was back in middle school with Tama-chan apparently. Kubo-san over time probably felt bad if that is not surprising to anyone, that he has always been neglected in class haha I mean even a nice class chairperson wouldn't even know where to start, and thus I guess, she felt the sense of superiority over this man that she has never felt before just teasing him and such. *silence* What did I say about Kubo-san being a sadist? *laughs* Overall though, I still think this series is a joy to watch. It's simple slice-of-life romance, dude. Anyone with a heart can get into this. Just, you know, just like Shiraishi isn't for everyone and not like you will notice how good this series can be until you actually see it. So yeah, not everyone's cup of coffee *wink* but I enjoyed it, and just like other series like this, I'm glad they had enough material to talk about the smallest of things that made the series stand out, namely Shiraishi being invisible (lol I would argue Sudou is probably more invisible in this series than him) and the problems he faces in life which, of course includes people not noticing him in class. Again, would have made of a better joke in many other contexts, but this is at its most pure, and probably, this is what it should have been, for what it offers. Everything else just falls in nicely though, side characters, music and animation and everything... it's just something I did not regret watching. I would not expect a proper ending so yeah this is just it, but I feel like I've already felt so much more than whatever... friendship? That goes between them we don't really need more hehe we cannot get Kubo Nagisa to confess to the guy this logic doesn't exist haha

This week on the new songs I listened to? Sure, it's the peak of the month, right? Do we count cover albums in this though? *laughs* Because if not, maybe then listening to Amamiaya Sora's new cover album is just background music at work this week, and really makes me wonder if I care about her personal interests in singing oldies for maybe his dad? I don't know, maybe she does like old songs. *silence* I don't like you anymore. *laughs* Moving on, ClariS' new cover single did get me enough but for the B-side only mainly because the melody is good- I did not say I do not give cover songs. I missed a good enough generation of songs I can use a not nostalgia trip. Yeah, just a trip. Also, they cute. *giggles* Then again, that's all I can say because damn did mainstream not hold up as I skip Cider Girl's new single altogether not even giving the topic song before the music video even released, and focused on giving one of fumika's digital singles and mostly cinema staff's new EP because damn I am an old man who can only listen to familiar melodies and cannot indulge in new stuff. *silence* You know that's not true, you know. Also I listened to wacci's new song with guest vocalist asmi-san for some reason and uh... let's move on haha

Finally, we can talk about new music announced on Twitter (or old ones) that will get be interested in the rest of the year, honestly. *giggles* ORESKABAND's new song which is their 2nd this year isn't too bad after all, can't wait for their major release though. Don't ask me how I'm coping with mol-74's new song previews and mol-74's new music video reveal which is also the first full song reveal for their upcoming mini-album because I'm already all in on this so ask me again next week how I feel when it's all (partially) out. Sangatsu no Phantasia's new EP is for Anime no surprises there but the full-on release is rather surprising and we still have a track list with an unknown guest vocalist so I suppose we will find out in due time. SPYAIR is releasing a new song next week which features the new vocalist apart from the remaster versions of their classics just to you know, detach themselves from the old profile and move on to a new image so hopefully it's working. Might be weaker, but working. miwa's new song will be for a television series she will be a guest in next month so don't ask me when a full version will be released, I have no answers for that. Kitou Akari announced a new single for Anime to end her recent live tour which was up this weekend with surprising highlight from the fan audience so if you don't get the joke I can't help you at all, not joking. *giggles* SPECIAL OTHERS' new song is as confusing as some of the earlier ones so I'm not commenting on it any further. TrySail's new music video and title song release for their upcoming album is full steam ahead, doesn't mean it's good at all by any measure, so I may skip this song after all. I will still put faith in the album though unlike their 2nd album back then which I basically just skipped because of the topic song lol. And just announced earlier, Asakura Momo's new single will release mid August with a summer theme topic song and romantic B-side so let's all wish her a happy birthday, shall we?

For next week, uh... I'm afraid to announce we have ran out of new songs to listen to- Oh, there's GLIM SPANKY's new song and The Floor's new song which may also be bad? Then that. *laughs* Man, I can use a break for next week because coming next month with the new Anime I'll be bombing my music library with new songs again because nowadays we just release digital straight away after Episode 1 anyways not like they care about sales or releasing good singles-




Well, now that my replacement phone from eBay coming from the US of A is a mess (THREE WEEKS TO SHIP TO SOMEWHERE WITHIN THE COUNTRY?? WHAT THE F-), let's hope this expedited one from Amazon will come in earlier (as in upcoming Wednesday) than our upcoming package where I will once again take work leave at the end of the month so man, *prays* FINGERS CROSSED because next week is going to be awesome!! Well since I tuned in to Mocho's livestream earlier I waited for a bit, ordered dinner lol it's not sushi though *laughs*, and watched Anime "Insomniacs" livestream where they talked about best scenes each episode up till now so yeah till 11, and I agree with most of their choices, also didn't realize this not podcast sounded so much better than I thought to be honest, such a joy to hear main guy voice actor Satou Gen laugh especially when he said his father went crazy seeing the timing of the kiss scene lol same here but I'm not this exaggerated. *silence* Maybe I'm older than his dad haha WHAAAAATTT
