The Entertainment News Week #54

I know. What’s the next post title, right? We shall see.

I was thinking of doing up a post on criticising the format of pop music, but then I noticed it’s actually my opinion on music. So I guess I shouldn’t after all. But… it… keeps… happening…

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (2nd last episode): Yes this one is real. With reference to the misunderstanding last week, this week definitely is the last episode. I mean, later. Whatever happens now to Nonoka and the ignorance of everyone else besides Shione about Noel will be answered. It better be. Last episode for me was a mindf**k.
KimiUso: Not happening until two weeks from now. Yes I went to find out what happened. The new arc starts with episode 12 with a bunch of new theme songs. Hmm…
With respect to next season Anime, in reference to Random Curiosity’s season preview, I’m going to watch the first episode of two shows:: Koufuku Graffiti (now doubtful because I heard the opening theme song) and Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (that try-to-assassinate-your-teacher-who-is-a-professional-himself Anime) (because the premise of the show sounds interesting). The others? Probably not.

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Well apparently the old monk is alive after Ichigo called his name, and that's pretty much it. Hopefully that Quincy leader can foresee that Ichigo is going to get rid of him. Or someone else. I don’t know. Not like I foresee anything anyway.

MOVIE
Yep, just one. Because I got bored.
Penguins of Madagascar: Feels like the penguin version of Johnny English, for those who watched it before. Spy thriller experience, and plenty of jokes and last minute actions and ideas for the penguins. I must say the production is well done for the premise of this show.

This Week on Klassic Note
Six last songs to top it up, and the final count for now is 220. Yes, another record. Two more from yanaginagi’s 2nd album (I’m still feeling bad for not calling on someone I know to get my bought single to get it signed in AFA this year), three from Ikimonogakari’s 7th album because I missed their songs, and one last from Sora no Method Image Album, which is entirely made by fhana. Problem is I only took (and remembered) one song, which makes me now humming to the song like what Nonoka does in the show.

Now that’s called being one with the Anime…

I guess that’s all. Starting tomorrow I've got much to do, so hope I can finish things up by the next time we meet, probably in the new year. Or before that to release Klassic Note results. Or APoL. That one, we’ll see. I’m still not pleased with my progress and more importantly, the quality of my work. So we shall see. Until next time… enjoy the last days of the year. I still haven’t got my purchase (not CD) from online (not Japan) yet. I don’t know. Probably complaining tomorrow.
[P.S.:

It’s not much, but if it’s Ten-chan then it’s great. That also means I’ll get more next year, right? Hopefully.]

The Entertainment News Week #53

Yes APoL is still on hold. Because I just thought of another way to write the story. And even that is only part of the first draft I intend to probably release tomorrow. Or by Christmas. Whichever one comes first. (Audience: Tomorrow’s after Christmas?) (Eh…)

And yeah, the year’s about to come to an end. I feel so sa-

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (2nd last episode): Wow finally the truth is out, and yes all of them ask for their reunion, and thus fulfilling them will cause Noel’s existence to disappear, which is also not to their wishes. Now that they have no choice but to send her off (personally I think they should’ve done that long time ago), will the miracle of Noel coming back happen? Without the saucer? Hopefully. I want to see a happy ending. Tonight. Without my ordered-a-week-ago-online Chromecast to watch on my TV. Haiz. Maybe I’ll use the smart TV instead to console myself.
Denki-gai no Honya-san: Good last episode, not because it has a lot of jokes, but it’s a good summary and special to end a season of Anime. Especially the Uma no Hone part at the end. Really, don’t watch if you don’t laugh or cannot take sex jokes. After that, the girls (and the guys) have given me a good memory of this show, and I’ll enjoy future sequels, if any. Kudos to another good less-than-Seitokai-Yakuindomo comedy Anime! (Really, Seitokai is SO much more wrong. Vibrators are just…)
KimiUso: Eh… Kousei failed the contest. But then he’s more clear than he is before he met Kaori. Of course there are people who are shocked of his performance, but then he is learning on his own feet. With a new piano tutor who is nothing like his mother, and his next performance with Kaori-chan coming around the corner… I know the spoilers. Accidentally.
Because on a side note, I went to read some chapters of the manga. I thought the Anime is attempting to drag the show (like three episodes for one performance event), but it’s not. The manga author, however, is actually more exaggerating than the Anime itself. Now I know. I’ll blame the author instead. And damn, should I spoil it for you that Kaori-chan will be missing from their next performance? (OOPS. HAHA)

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Wow Ichibe is still struggling against The Almighty, which is bad, because it’s not enough to delay until Ichigo’s group to arrive. Haha, really we’re all waiting for that huh…

This Week on Klassic Note
Well nothing much this week. Next week will be D-day for Kana-chan’s new single (probably) which I will decide whether to give the whole single or not (I heard the B-side and it sounds fine), Ikimono’s album to whether I will give a couple of songs or not, and if that happens I will take a few more songs from yanaginagi’s album which… I think I mentioned this the last time.
Anyways, new singles and albums are announced for the new year, but since they are quite ahead of time and there’s a lot to cover, I’ll talk about it in due time. It’s the end of the year already, you know.

Cya guys then. Been busy sorting out things for my mom and thinking through APoL to give you guys a better FIRST DRAFT hopefully by the dates stated above. Until next time… hope my Chromecast appears at my doorstep or else I’ll need to file a complaint, and look around for probably… okay maybe not. Come back next week, yes?

[P.S.: If you’re waiting for this… I think I’ll probably stop next year. I just wanted a picture for this weekly post, but… I’ll think of something else? Hmm…

I wished there was more of Kana-chan and Kayanon’s photobooks. I guess I have to be patient, huh.]

[Edit.: Oops. Just found out after watching the 2ND LAST EPISODE of Sora no Method that it ends next week. I feel so bad about myself now. I thought it’s over and they play cliffhanger. More to talk about next week.]

The Klassic Note Review – 2014.12 Issue 2

Somehow I NEVER mentioned this yanaginagi’s single before, even though it’s on my shelf. Well. The wait is over. I’m filling it in, and the compilation will come tomorrow. Remember that. I’ll post it here just to remind myself anyway. Let’s get started.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
yanaginagi – Aqua Terrarium [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Both pertaining to the theme. And no close ups. Good. Oops.) (No really, she has her beauty; Refer to the other single review)

Origin: Well I guess the most memorable from her of how I started in this single and listening to yanaginagi is from Anime “Nagi no Asukara”. Awesome show by the way. And with awesome shows come awesome theme songs, and she did twice of it. Both great. More than the average standard because she partakes in the lyrics, and her voice is… Yeah you get what I mean. Anyways, it’s because the first of this I hear the diversity and her own composition, barely missing it last year and revisiting it the start of this year, and at least on my shelf. If she deserves that much attention she really is good, I can tell you that.

(1) Aqua Terrarium
The theme song. A very different feel. A lot of hoohs and hahs going around the chorus. My first impression isn’t wonderful. But then as I go along the show it brings me to the mood of this song, which is uniquely soothing. I can remember back in last year at this time of the year I’m spending every night in a week listening to this song before I go to bed. Really. The hypnotic feeling somehow brings about the despair and mood in the song, as with the lyrics too. Overall a very well done song despite weak first impressions. And despite being still an Anime theme song.
RATING: 4 stars (Very Average)

(2) mnemonic
This is what stopped me last year from getting the single. Her own composition. And there are two reasons why I changed my decision. Firstly, with the arrival of the other single I got for my birthday this year (specifically “unjour” her other composition), I decided to give her another chance, and surprisingly I’m in the mood for it, so instead of giving 4 out of 6 songs in total for both singles, I decided to put both of the singles on my shelf. Period. The drifty mood of this song has its own way, and in the most depressing times of the year (at least for the start of the year) she played a big part, and I forgave some discrepancies to give her the thumbs up. Secondly, this is also (I swear it’s coincidentally and unintentionally) the insert song for the same show. And after listening to it beforehand it really rings a bell, and reminded me once again how great this song is done. Really, have I not convinced you by now she is great?
RATING: 4 stars (Average)

(3) You can count on me
This song, also given last year along with (1), is the other side of yanaginagi. The active side. The happy side. And a well done melody (not by her), but wonderful lyrics of dependence and hope. Really appreciating her talent by now, and I see why she left that group to advance further in her singing career. (Haha) So lively, five minutes for this song isn’t enough. Really. Upbeat, lively, and I can totally imagine her dancing to this if she did a live performance of it. Well, soon. She just completed her 2nd album…
RATING: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: Overall not a bad single after all. You may see me giving average ratings here, but you don’t know how many times I''ve listened to these songs behind the scenes, especially last year, when I don’t have that Twitter account back then. Anyways, fans who has a taste of her composition style would definitely not miss this one of course, and those who haven’t so should give her voice and her rather quirky style of music creation a chance. Definitely a (three-track) single I’ve tried given chances and not got disappointed throughout the course of selection.

Yay. I’m done. Now for APoL. Apparently I didn such a haphazard and messy job I may have to rewrite it. Hope it doesn’t come to that. Cya guys next time then, and meanwhile I’ll wait patiently for the Anime tonight to be online. Bye.

The Entertainment News Week #50

Wow I didn’t remember Jeff Dunham coming to my home city. Oh well. Not like they dare to come here again… Oops

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method: Well last week (Yep just in case the next one gets in my way tonight. Or tomorrow) Noel collapsed, but after some time and sending back her to the hometown seems to have made her recover, but also the truth is out. Well, at least to the group, from Shione. Yes. Apparently their solution is to each take the blame to not make the wish (whoever’s it is) of reuniting the five-people group. Really? REALLY? Well, not like I cared anyway. Anyways, it’s coming to an end, and we know Noel has to fulfil the wish, but… either or both can happen. You get what I mean. Like, Noel could stay and they can still be together for all we know…
Uma no Hone: Seriously if you start watching this show because of this week’s episode I applaud you. Because Kobayashi Yuu (the voice actor behind G-Man) (and Seitokai Yakuindomo’s Yokoshima-sensei) doesn’t really sound cute as a kid (I sweat I was expecting someone else), and I didn’t notice who it is until halfway through the show. Like, when they talked about Civil Service and stuff. Seriously. Nice episode though, and it couldn’t have gone any better, especially with half the show quiet with Sommelier. LOL On the other hand, Tsumorin applauds Sensei-chan’s professionalism in her lifestyle as a manga artist, and WUUUUUUUUUUUUUT??? Go watch that scene yourself. I’m not elaborating. I don’t even feel Ayachi’s voice in it.
KimiUso: Yes it was a long performance. Spanning like, three episodes for a concert performance not more than 4 minutes long. Just saying. Anyways, Kousei is really binded by her mother for some reason (or the production is the one that does Attack on Titans) (miserable freaks) (Wait don’t tell me Aniplex is part of the production in that show too…), but love triumphs discipline (like how democracy thrives over communism) and he plays a performance that probably is the biggest mindf**k to the judges. Yeah. If he doesn’t get kicked out of the competition now I don’t know what else will. Seriously.

Oh yeah. I’m reminded of something.

Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: Not wrong segment, but yes. That Manga 2.5 adaptation. Don’t know what’s that? JFGI. Anyways, the season was pretty well done, though pace is kind of slow, the voices of the girls could’ve been less of acting cute and…. it’s not Anime. Somehow it has to happen. But if it doesn’t, ever, I don’t mind. I’ll remember the manga scenes in my head. Like how Sayaka has to get a guy to meet her father, how Tina appeared out of nowhere and her boyfriend being the one who scarred Kotone in her past. Yeah. Do some full Anime adaptation, someone.

SHOWS
Jeff Dunham: Yep. The new DVD on his world tour over the past few years is out. Less offensive, still has good jokes testing A LOT on his comedian skills, and… now we know how the French Terrorist appeared in Jeff Dunham Show came about. Nice one Jeff.

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Eh… did I say something about the Quincy leader being victorious in the end or something along those lines? Either that or I need to give the Zero Division some APoL decks before they set out fighting. Possibly also to every good guy out there in the show. Besides Ichigo. He needs no divination. *laughs*

This Week on Klassic Note
Not much at all this week, besides yanaginagi’s 2nd album, which I did review from starting last week, is just getting better despite my reduced listening of the songs recently. Well decided to give another song (which means it’s exceeding 215) from her album (apparently a theme song for an Anime NEXT SEASON?) and somewhat close things until… Damn. Wow. I shouldn’t have watched Jeff Dunham just now. I forgot about something.

Yeah. How? Tomorrow? I’ll try it by tonight. But I don’t want to miss watching Anime. Btw, I rejected SID’s new single. Don’t ask me why, especially when you’re their fan.

APoL? Yeah it’s on it’s way. Somehow my next week isn’t going to be as carefree as I hoped (it’s towards the end of the year anyway) so I’ll push Chapters 13 and 14 together instead.
I’m a freaking liar. I know. Cya next week then, or later, if I can get the last Klassic Note Review of the year to be done before the sun sets moon sun rises. Well I don’t do that anyway. I just go sleep. Until next time.

[P.S.: Omachikanedesune? Yesu. (OMG I feel so offensive)

Hope to see more, like text-less kind of way, images that I can put on my phone. I’m sure I can find them.]

The Klassic Note Review – 2014.12 Issue 1

Yes it’s the only one. Because SID new single isn’t impressive and the two last week aren’t either. And I don’t intend to buy any albums soon. Maybe Ikimono, but I shall see that for myself.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Aqua Timez – Ikite [Single]
[Limited Edition] [Regular Edition]
(Pretty much the same, these two, but the Regular Edition looks more blissful. I’d like the Limited Edition though because it features live footage from the niconico live before their album release, which… oh well.)

Origin: Well we are all familiar with pop rock band Aqua Timez, for they bring us many awesome songs from Anime, drama and many more. Celebrating their 10th year, with the release of their album earlier in August comes this single for another drama (which I wouldn’t elaborate here), but as it is only a single-track (new song) single, I’m sure to be reviewing it, right? Hell yeah you bet I will. This single falls on the line of single-track singles of their band, and this isn’t any shabby either.

(1) Ikite [Live On]
Eh… first impression from music video is rather impressive, with most of the captivating components of a pop song available, and along with my favourite long phrases leading to the chorus again just like “Hinayume” from their latest album, this song just makes for another great track to listen to. The lyrics generally talk about life in general, that though we go through life and are worried or even get emotional just talking about it, we still live on, and thus my translation of the song title. (Yes my translation dammit) Overall a wonderful song, but honestly? I was expecting more. Damn, why am I expecting more, right?
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) MASK (Shoes and Stargazing Version)
If I’m not wrong this is likely a rendition from their live this year also of the same name, but is also good in terms of song selection. If anyone recalls three years back where Anime “BLEACH” is still on and running (slowly) that this is one of the ending theme songs. Somehow three years listening to this version makes me view the song totally differently, which is great given the original song is already pretty good in terms of melody. Nostalgic is all I can think of at the moment, but really, nice song too. And if no one knows Klassic Note gives remixes of songs already in list, which also explains why negoto’s single is on my shelf too.

Conclusion: Altogether a nice single to have, and if not for my hesitation to get pre-order I probably would’ve done this last weekend. If you’re a fan and have not missed a release from them, I’m sure it’s at your shelf now already. Or else, if you’d like a nice song to listen, my recommendations will never exclude Aqua Timez. Really, old timer experienced band already. It’s been ten years anyway…

THE PACKAGE
Yes, even I’m excited when I get to this part, where I talk about it before I put it on my shelf. Funny it’s been two years I’m still feeling this excitement within. Must be my own money that makes it matter, isn’t it?

And yes, as you see the special gift here is not a promotional poster, but a poster of them in their live. *smiles* You get what I mean already, huh. Anyways, the packaging looks familiar as to the album with the elf theme, but this time the elf has a human granny. Just saying. Artistic view is exceptionally good though. Here, a bigger picture.

I guess that’s all this time. Cya guys next year for more review of course, and I’ll see if I can compile all the reviews I’ve done for this year or not. Along with the final look of my shelf for the year. Yeah just you wait and see…
[P.S.: APoL Chapter 13 is expected to be completed by this weekend. <<This is to make sure I meet the deadline. Really not making progress recently…]

The Entertainment News Week #49

Four more weeks to- Wait, I think I mentioned that before. Never mind.

Four more weeks to the end of 2014! And three more weeks to the end of Klassic Note for the year too. Hmm…

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (will remember not to miss tonight’s, but forgot Anime two days ago, haha): Okay I see what’s happening. Shione’s not buying into the friendship thing. Too bad for Nonoka, who really just wants them to be together like back then. Seven years back then. Anyways, Shione gets to slap Nonoka again, but she has to take care of Noel now that she left the town and collapsed. Hmm. Hopefully we can get to an understanding soon to Noel’s true existence in this show, because it’s really getting on my nerves already. The lack of the answer. We’re close to the end of the season, you know…
Denki-gai no Honya-san: Love every episode of this show up till now for the overly emotional scenes than comedy, but that is fine. Very unlike Seitokai Yakuindomo as I’ve been told about. Tsumorin and Kameko seem to be the focus here, but the comedy is more towards Hio-tan, huh. I just wonder if it will ever happen that there is a conclusion to the romance things here. But seeing that they skipped all the Valtentine’s scenes for all the co-workers and left Tsumorin crying as a conclusion, I guess not.
KimiUso: Eh… as I thought Kousei performed badly due to his heavy thoughts of his mother, and we are led to a longer story about his history with his mother, and it apparently didn’t take much for him to finally stand up for himself just that one time. Kudos to him for that, but seeing how serious of a scar he got, I can’t help but think the Anime is too heavily focused on that, and I see a lack of development. Last episode sees two piano performances, and this week Kousei’s performance hasn’t even ended yet. I mean, I see more in the next episode preview. Hopefully they don’t drag the show; it’s not even halfway there…

No plans for what new shows to watch next season yet, Koufuku Graffiti seems to be interesting somehow. From many sources it seems dominance is on sequels of existent shows, which is kind of a letdown yet again. Haiz…

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Well the old monk is doing something with his brush, and apparently it represents darkness. Who knew that a humble brush could have such an effect? Well at least effort for such creativity is commendable, but we know the Quincy leader is OBVIOUSLY NOT DEAD YET. Yeah, only n00bs will think he is definitely dead.
Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: Well at least things are clarified between Kou and Kotone, and I guess that’s rather important for the group to move on… (Seriously where’s the Anime adaptation? And I’m not talking about the Manga 2.5)

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
Well this week is one for many as Aqua Timez and SCANDAL come into the equation. Aqua Timez’s single is already on the way, so be sure I’ll be doing a review on it next week. SCANDAL’s new album is pretty impressive for so many of their songs are done by themselves this time round, and I will be taking a couple of songs from the list, for the list. I also got a heads up on the only release I’ll be reviewing (probably) for next week which is yanaginagi’s 2nd album. (I’m still feeling bad for not supporting her performance at my hometown) For now it’s a great album, for I already picked two songs from when I first heard it yesterday. (Really wondering what songs she sang for the live yesterday) Along with those from SCANDAL and a second selection from FLOWER FLOWER’s album I see a hell lot of songs coming my way. And yeah, the number I mentioned on Twitter will not suffice. Really. There’s still Ikimono-gakari, and I cannot just give yanaginagi TWO SONGS. Really.

I guess that’s it for this week then. The year is coming to a close, so please expect a shorter paragraph, especially for Klassic Note as I tidy up stuff for the final results and survey releases, which I do every year. Cya next week then, and I promise, I’m working on APoL. Really. Just playing Train Fever and Godus from time to time though…

[P.S.: As I shift from KitKat to Lollipop, my change of tastes in sweets also accompany a change in showing screenshots on my homescreen. For now. Homescreen widgets better come back soon.

Tomacchan’s stealing the limelight this week. Mina-chan probably next week. Got a sh*tload of pictures from her 2nd album…]

The Entertainment News Week #48

Well one more month to go, and there’s still much to offer. So glad I don’t have to read the title over and over again as if I were in a radio broadcast. Too wordy for this title, isn’t it?

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method: This one is not last episode because so coincidentally as I’ve mentioned last week I’m watching it on a Monday. So will be this week’s one. Too bad. Anyways, they finally got into Shione, I mean the others, by fulfilling her wish (somehow) by building a Planetarium for a festival for all of them to see stars. Yeah, sounds weird. But so is the relationship with Shione and Nonoka. Apparently it’s resolved, but it’s not. Something tells me Shione knows more than all of us and probably Nonoka, but then don’t tell me… it’s got to do with Noel?? Hmm… so much cliffhanger that it feels weird stopping there already… Nvm, will know tomorrow, haha.
Denki-gai no Eechi-san: Really on the mature side, Hio-tan gets sick TWICE in order for us to see Kantoku’s concern to his employee and Sensei-chan’s shock to the sister’s three sizes LOL. On the other hand, it’s Christmas (well at least in the show) and even G-men is here to share the joy. Yeah, if you thought it’s illegal books it’s just they are sold illegally. I got confused there too for a moment. Next episode just seems to be better, as the comedy here doesn’t seem to lack anytime soon… *sees intoxicated and weeping Tsumorin*
KimiUso: Well nice performances from the two new characters this episode, and I must say in it bears many emotions of the two towards Kousei, and as always the thick-headed main guy doesn’t get to know about it. On the other hand, Kousei’s turn is coming next, and I swear this is going to change things well. (If you need me to spell out why means you’ve not been watching) (Whatever I’ll share my thoughts with you) (No spoilers; I swear I didn’t read the manga)  Either Kousei’s going to play so good and admit defeat if possible so that the two of them won’t feel bad losing to him again, or he just plays so bad because he still cannot hear the notes that the two lost hope and motivation in admiring him when they were young. Latter likely to happen though, I think…

Wow long essays are coming my way so long as the episodes have more content or I start remembering them. I will. Exams going to be over tomorrow. *laughs*

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Wow Ichibe Hyousuke (that Zero Division monk) is revealed to have much influence in Soul Society apparently, is about to release his zanpakuto. This. Will. Be. Interesting. Great. Awesome. I’m running out of words to say already.
A Channel: It’s rather centred around Yutaka and I can only remember she plucked out her bangs (hair) instead of going to the stylist. Read it yourself if you want that impactful laugh, haha.
Amari Mawari: If you guys don’t read the manga you should, because it’s funny and is written by the same dude who wrote the previous one I mentioned above. and apparently it’s still about the guy’s hair. Like, Amari-chan wants a handful of it for a gift. Seriously. (P.S. Kyouka really is some beauty; if not for that kid…) (Reminds me of Chuunibyou though, not that I watched it)

ゲーム GAMES
Wow it’s been some time, and I immerse myself in another game. Godus is apparently the “spiritual successor” to the famous god game Populous (if I use “popular” just now you guys will think I’m trying to make a pun), and it lives to the name. Well, nearly. Things are different by a lot. Belief is a numerical thing now, time controls many things in the game, and you don’t summon ground like a Shaman, but drag the layers out. Cool game, even after one year of development already. Go check it out. Also have been going back to find a Need for Speed game, and ended up with the online version: Need for Speed World, which is like the good old Underground which I liked but with more freedom. And a whole lot less people int he servers. Come on, it’s been four years.

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
Wow this week is hectic, though not like a lot. A few albums are still in review, following my mood to listen to them anyway. Ayachi’s 2nd album has a conslusion, and I’m only taking one song for the time being. (Just cannot go through the bridge part of the song)  (“Hey Hey Hey” *laughs*) FLOWER FLOWER’s album still shows some promise, so I’m still listening to it for the time being, while giving two songs from the digital singles and live performances. SPYAIR’s best album is under hold for now, and I think I’ll be only giving the new songs. Or song. Probably just one anyway.

Next week’s releases also come early, well some of them at least. Tomacchan’s new single B-side shows some promise (I miss her singing already after rejecting a single), and wacci’s single… I tell you I’m not pleased. But then it’s understandable; not like their music video shows any prospect anyway…

Of course more is coming my way, like Aqua Timez’s new single (wow I haven’t clicked on the button yet) and SCANDAL’s album. I shall wait. After tomorrow. I have plenty of time, really.

I guess that’s all then. I need to do some notes-compiling for my exams (yes note the plural word) tomorrow, so if you would excuse me. And also  stay tuned from next week as I see if I can conjure out at least two chapters of APoL by the end of the year. Wow, big words huh… Until next time!
[P.S.: Yes; Only one; Is Enough. Is that how you use semicolons? LOL]

Well since I do not hold the truth, I have to live with illusions then. What is? Everything is, really...

The Klassic Note Review – 2014.11 Issue 2

Hey guys! And as promised after such a dull post yesterday, two more single reviews that should've been done last week. Now if you think this is going to be the last review of the year, wait for next month. Hehe.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
SCANDAL – Image [Single]

(Their image, in the live. Really very legit, though I was expecting something else for cover art.)

Origin: Wow I feel proud to be a SCANDAL fan already. At least for this year. Complete collection of their three singles this year, this being the third. If you need me to introduce the best girls’ rock band in Japan means you have no interest in JRock. No, really. They rock pretty much the whole world already. Like, with this single too. Don’t you just love their own compositions? They should’ve started to do more earlier…

(1) Image
A sincerely written song by MAMI-chan, and I must say first time I heard it hit me so hard I felt so touched, and motivated by them. So much for its lyrics, the melody itself also presents the lively and almost flawless performances I can expect from them, from the start of the year. The music video though sheds a different light on the group, where it portrays themselves as superheroes, while trying to save (not me) people from various situations (not mine) and so on. What more can I say for such an awesome song? FIVE STARS!

Rating: 5 stars (Awesome!)

(2) Nai Nai Night 2014 [No No Night 2014]
(If anyone needs a translation for the song title…)
Okay so this one came as a surprise. Reviewing the single earlier last week (yep) I was studying for my exams, stressed over the revision material and stuff. And suddenly I decided to listen to their new single. And this is where the breaking point is. The moment after I heard TOMOMI-chan say “1, 2, 3, 4” and suddenly her cute voice plus acoustics broke me from inside. Suddenly all my stress went off with the song too (with her singing ないないない, which means no or nothing), and I decided to give the song the thumbs up. Rarely in the listening of SCANDAL songs, especially written by TOMOMI-chan, is this decisive. Back then when I listened to her first song “Houkago 1H”, even that was kind of half-assed. This one? Good job TOMOMI-chan; you literally made my day.
Rating: 4 stars (Average; Above Average and SCANDAL will need a new permanent vocalist)

Conclusion: Overall a very good single I must say, and for anyone who listened to SCANDAL before needs to get this single. Really, not start listening. Just go grab it online or your nearest store. NOW. The songs inside are easy listening, upbeat and (surprisingly and undoubtedly) great, and you can have my word for it.

MOU HITOTSU! (LOL)

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Goose house – Hikaru Nara [Single]
Limited/Anime Edition Regular Edition
(Well the Anime version is great, and constellations make the topic for this single this time. Pretty well done. Especially what is inside the discs, hehe.)

Origin: Well it’s been some time since I’ve known them since the start of the year, and I must say after the departure of their leader d-iZe, Goose house – a band formed with aspiring composers chosen from Sony’s “Play You” event back in 2011 – is actually doing well this year, singing two songs for Anime, with its second single on my shelf. The bunch play different roles of instruments in the band, and they all contribute to the vocals in the song, which makes of awesome harmony and choruses all round. And once the melody strikes, like this one, totally shows their performance and composition talent. I must say they deserve a thumbs up from Klassic Note man!

(1) Hikaru Nara [(If it’s) Shining]
First impression from Anime “Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso” (nice show, go watch) was actually pretty good, and I can tell you it’s because of them that I watched the show too, and they don’t disappoint. Playing as the opening theme song, they express a certain amount of passion and liveliness, much of what is Kaori-chan in the show. Overall the song does resemble a typical Anime-style format, but nonetheless is great. Why do I say so? Hey I shall end this paragraph with an awesome acoustic version of their new song celebrating 1 million YouTube subscribers. You wouldn’t believe how much I loved this video.

Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Fuyu no Epilogue [Epilogue of Winter]
Well this was defniitely the song I was thinking of for a while before coming to a decision. As usual it’s those “nothing-wrong-with-the-song” situations again, as I think the song could’ve tried a more dramatic preview like the A-side instead of an acoustic side with cajon drums (don’t know go Google it), but then I think the style is still pretty good. And thus I gave them the thumbs up, unlike the one I listened to on my birthday. I did mention that, right? Anyways, this song has its emotional side, and with the effort of the group, I’m sure this will sounds great to you too.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

Conclusion: Overall a not bad single really, and it being on my shelf means you should give this batch of aspiring composers a chance (instead of a bunch of sluts who sing terribly *wink*) and give them a listen. Especially when you like their songs here, be sure to also go find out their individual singing careers, like I know Takezawa Migiwa-san has songs from two years ago and is still active (though I didn’t listen to it), Takebuchi Kei has her first album released under Sony Music Japan earlier this march and Johnny has his own music activities too. Go check them ALL out, man; It’ll be a journey of many experiences of music. I enjoyed them, and hope you guys will too.

That’s all then. For the reviews of course.

THE PACKAGE
Well not much to say about this, but then it’s a long story to why I probably missed a free gift or two. When I was on the deciding stage with Goose house and waiting for SCANDAL’s single for review, orders are still seen online for First Press Edition (which features free gifts if on pre-order), but then by the time I made the decision, the limited edition Anime poster for Goose house’s is gone, and I also had to switch to another provider (HMV to Tower Records) to get the First Press gifts for SCANDAL’s single. Overall, a hectic experience, but it didn’t go wasted. Some images for your viewing pleasure, and yes: The background of that picture is that B3-sized poster gift I was talking about, hehe.

Cya guys next week, as I see if I need to give Aqua Timez and their new song or not. So yeah, THIS YEAR HASN’T ENDED, people! Especially when I have a few albums to review from this week onwards, like FLOWER FLOWER (actually listening to it as I’m typing this), SPYAIR and their best album (time to give them some chances), Ikimono, yanaginagi and much more. Hell yeah after exams it’s going to be great. Yes, AFTER exams. Haiz. Until next week, people. Or actually, next time since it’s Sunday.

Bye.

[P.S.: Yes it’s the same amount of CDs as last year. Oh wait, not yet, huh. I haven’t gave Aqua Timez yet…]

The (Intentional) Near Miss

Hi guys. And I don’t know why I’m here anyway. Fancy me b***ching about when I can… ok let’s get to it.

THE NEWS
I was overjoyed. Supposedly it’s the first time I had a first-hand information of an artist I know performing in Singapore (that’s because they’re mostly Japanese), and what is more is not on concert, means no tickets required to listen to music! It’s Rie fu-san on her first gig in Singapore! Like, what I’ve been waiting for! But even if I said I will go if anyone I know ever comes here to perform…

THE IDEAL
Why should I go? Well for first, I’ll be able to listen to her new songs of her album, which also feature a song about Singapore, which sounds great by the way. Also, it’s cheap compared to actually getting into a concert, as I can just support the artist through a direct donation.I might also be able to request songs I’d like to hear, or even more, talk to her in person! I guess that’s what’s good about a gig compared to just a concert where buying tickets is tougher than getting to talk to the artist. Yeah.

And the circumstances are appropriate. Today I have an exam (I know, condolences to me) and it being in the afternoon means I can just go after the paper, in the evening. And I can just hang out with my friends before that anyway. I can settle my own dinner too, for it is not taken care of by the family today.

THE PROBLEM
The problem… is with me.

Really.

Why so? Well. Just thinking about me makes me too excited, and such enthusiasm makes me… somewhat unable to sleep. I suppose it’ll work for those outdoorsy people, but not for me. And that’s not the only problem. Also in the way is me fundamentally not getting out of the house, especially when I’m outside. ALONE.

And yes seeing that it is a gig means it’ll be in a cafe or some sort (well intense research isn’t necessary), which means spending money on secondary items besides hearing her performance, which requests lightly for a donation to support the artist. Furthermore, she is selling her album there too, which means it’ll look stupid for one (who abides by the rules in Klassic Note) to not buy the release. Well, it wouldn’t be cheaper than the online price anyway, if you do the calculations. Also I just…

Overall. I’m a wimp. Yeah. And the main concerns are me not used to going outdoors so I can just go for her gig, and also… because I have no balls. I don’t dare to. Too bad.

Maybe next time, yes? Honestly saying, me feeling bad about it and typing this much really means that I’m “not prepared yet” for such things. Even if it may just happen two years ago in AFA 2012 with sphere. And last year with SID. And today. Yes. How much I have missed as a fan. Why…

[P.S.: On a better note, my package will be arriving tomorrow, also the review. And I’ll not miss it to make it next week. Maybe just to comfort myself for not going out for liking the music. Haiz…]

[P.P.S.: Not that impactful because I feel so bad writing about it. If you need more… actually don’t even ask for it. I shouldn’t be doing this.]

The Entertainment News Week #47

Yes, I know tomorrow’s it. And probably I’ll be reminded of it again for one last time this year. But that is good. I feel good about it for now. I think.

Haiz.

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (last episode): Oh yeah the girls go to visit Nonoka’s mother. Wow that was an emotional moment, but not as irritating as Shione being so desolated with the group. Wonder how things will happen before all will be together once more, and probably solve that thing above their heads. I guess. Soon. Also will be missing two weeks of same-day broadcast because of exams. See, I told you I’m reminded again. Well exams are more important anyway.
Denki-gai no Honya-san: Plenty of Sensei-chan again, and her supposedly going to quit her job as Uma no Hone, but not really though. *sees her reluctance for returning Sommelier the manga* Also all the girl power things the girls are thinking about but Umio actually has a glasses fetish! Well good for him anyway. Somehow still stuck on the Satomi-chan-posing-as-Tsumorin-being-my-gf-again scene is just… so… impossible for me. Dreamy, one would say, haha.
KimiUso: Well it’s timr for performance, and as usual we have to wait for next week. The soundtrack for classical music in the show is out (not the original soundtrack) but I immediately held on because I don’t miss listening to classical music, and more so after I watched the episode, so I don’t spoilt the epic performances? I hope so; I have a feeling Kousei may just screw up. Go on, show them you aren’t a competition to them after two years in depression.

漫画

BLEACH: Well the old monk is pissed, and somehow the Quincy leader is still on him. More things up their sleeves? Plenty more I guess. (If you had a feeling I’m saying the same thing again and again, you’re not wrong.)
Kuroshitsuji: Well the condition for Ciel to not shoot the green witch is to create a solution (a cure) to the current situation, but I see more aggression in the near future. Hope Sebastian will be able to take it. Or maybe there’s something the supporting characters can do this time round. German prowess is not to be underestimated, you know…

This Week on Klassic Note
Hmm quite an interesting week I must say. So much happening that I don’t really remember what happened. Let’s see, uh… we have… I see. (Audience: Seriously?) Haha, for the suspense? First up, Ten-chan’s second single is… no where to be seen on my list. Well I did mention a foretelling of me potentially rejecting the songs because they don’t sound good, and the B-side sounds like Tomacchan. Talking about her, Tomacchan’s new single’s special gift is… pretty sweet. But then I… never mind. As I said, I did give Goose house’s new single and Kalafina’s new single a listen, one was on its way and the other is one of the B-sides. SCANDAL’s new single is also in the order too, probably strategically delivered so it happens after my exams this week, which will be Friday that I do the 2nd Klassic Note review for the month. Deviating from mainstream, we have a singer “Primary” (or yuiko) which I heard her like, five years ago? Yeah, she’s going the list this year too with one single and album, both reviewed and… selected. I almost said “coming my way”. Yes, but no. Not coming my way. Nonetheless, miss her voice, and really, she should go sing some Anime theme songs. Seriously.

(“Embedded disabled by request.”, huh. Well, you get to listen to the song HERE on YouTube. Awesome song, by the way.)

Oh and just over the weekend I got a listen to Ayachi’s 2nd album, and honestly? Not very impressive. I’m thinking whether I want to give in to fanservice from her music videos, an overdose of her live performances or just give one song based on Klassic Note regulations. Haha. We shall see next week. Talking about that we have Sambomaster coming up next week. Fancy for writing the song for Ayachi’s album, haha. But this one sounds good, and it’ll probably be next year before I get the song anyway, so we shall see. Or I will see.

“I guess…” yep, that’s all. Cya guys same day next week again, I guess. Until next time… hopefully I will be better. Ok maybe not. I’ll leave the good mood for the week after. Take care. Don’t get intoxicated by Sims 2 or your Nexus phone getting the new Android update and not installing it. Yeah, life is tough.
[P.S.: Yes, there’s only one. Because I love the Aki-chan gift so much (that I don’t feel like showing you guys??), and because there isn’t much happening “over there”. Next time.]

The Klassic Note Review – 2014.11 Issue 1

I can say this may not the only one because I’m reviewing Goose house’s new single, and I haven’t gave Ten-chan a chance on her second single yet. Plenty of room for another issue for the month. Just you wait and see.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Toyosaki Aki – Portrait [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(How to say… total fanservice? Well I’m not expecting anything or anyone else on the cover anyway, so… good. xD)

Origin: Rather than explain how I came about listening to Aki-chan as she reaches her 5th year in the music career, I should talk about how I came about listening to this again? Well you guys should know about her live radio broadcast every week “Okaeri Radio”, where of course she starts giving previews to her song as early as one month before release date. Due to her enthusiasm, I already know part of the song before I even get to listen the whole single, and of course being a fan of her I must give her chance, which is why the reason for the pre-order. (Of course there’s a darker reason for that; we’ll get to it later) It’s winter, and Aki-chan wants to bring us a touching song. Not well written, but touching nonetheless.

(1) Portrait
How should I say it… it’s emotional. It’s winter and we make a promise with her under the sky. Listening to the lyrics makes me know that the lyricist is a pro (and he is, for he writes many songs for sphere), however the composition is not that its best. Comparatively, it is still better than CHEEKY last year, probably the most regrettable single I got without a gift. (Oops) It’s heartfelt feeling from Aki-chan, and I feel it too, but… not too much. So it’s just be that average song I’ll come to love, yes? I’m being so frank over here…
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(2) Shamrock
This one is probably more of an issue. Somehow music composition in music companies but spoil the song with the bridge part of the song (between second and last chorus), which makes of very bad reveal once you hear the whole song, because the original preview sounds great. And lively, and relaxed. But just that part of the song. I know. But it’s forgivable, for the lyrics and overall suggest a light-hearted song and a happy mood. So I shouldn't be complaining, isn’t it?
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

Conclusion: Overall a very average single, and with the end of year rankings coming after so many reviews throughout the year, this single is likely not going to hit the top ones anyway. But it’s worth a listen, for Aki-chan’s soft and unique voice will soothe you, and feel for the mood of the songs within. It’s all inside, people. Give it a listen, yes?

[P.S.: Always remember if it’s reviewed means it passed the (somewhat strict) requirements of Klassic Note. Means you should give any review a listen, yes?]

THE PACKAGE

A picture speaks a thousand words, but no picture is going to explain my nerves when I saw the delivery slip on my door last Friday. Probably going to be the earliest of deliveries I get in my history of pre-ordering (within three days of release), but the local post office had to spoil it. I had to head to the post office in the next district (transport costs) to get the package instead. You should already see me b****hing about it from last week already, isn’t it? Haiz… (Audience: Then you still want to show us?) Haha yah.

Nonethtless, it’s here, and I’m happy. For the gift. That’s what makes it good, I guess. For having to wait to get here. I swear if I was in Japan I’ll just go get it in a nearby music store already. But no. I’m not in Japan. Too bad for one who should’ve been born there, huh. Oops.

Okay I guess that’s all. I need to keep my mood for doing mock exams tonight, for the real deal. Cya guys next time. And probably I’ll be able to pre-order more singles to make myself happy. Using my own money, hopefully, hehe. No I don’t know whether my bank account contains my savings or my dad’s to finance my education…

The Entertainment News Week #46

You may wonder will I stop at Week #52? Well… yes and no. Yes because it’s the end of the year and there’ll probably be nothing to talk about on the week of the year transition. And no, because it’ll be a new year after that. But no promise it’ll be starting from Week #1 again though. Oops.

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (last episode): Well it’s a fanservice episode because it’s hot springs, but nothing much of exposure as far as I can see. Surprisingly, the group was separated into two, with the second group bring Shione and Noel. I don’t know why they are so distant between each other now, but I guess Shione’s still concerned about Nonoka forgetting being her friend. That really makes me wonder what the whole lot of them wished in the abandoned observatory already. Moving on, hopefully we see more character development because things are really getting awkward already. Really, Shione needs a friend, whether it’s an ex-friend or a new boyfriend. Haha.
Uma no Hone: Well apparently this is a filler episode, so I think I shall take it less seriously. Apparently it’s also a season for hot springs for this show too, as the gorup travel with Tsumorin (that author who is Director’s ex) to take a dip. This has more exposure than the show above in many ways, and plenty of emotional scenes, whether it’s misunderstood or just a reunion that is not possible anymore. Really, felt so bad for Tsumorin (or Satomi-chan, for the count) on that scene. She can be my girlfriend anytime…

Well I guess I have to be some man for being the guy for two girls already, huh. *laughs* Let’s move on.

KimiUso: (and my sis cannot remember the abbreviation for the show) Kaori-chan’s word for Kousei reminds me of a song from SCANDAL coming next week (“Image”), and it hurts to see Tsubaki cry, just because she wants to be with Kousei and so filled with jealously she has to date a guy to let it all out. Nonetheless, that’s some interesting development there, and we may not be far from our first major event. (Audience: The performance is not climax enough?) Supposedly Arima Kousei strikes the attention of two individuals, each sworn to cancel the guy from the competition. Maybe he’s just going to go berserk like last time? I guess so, we’re not at the end yet…

BLEACH: Well it’s all the time stalling that the bearded man can do to the Quincy leader, so let’s see what shall happen next chapter, yes? Really this is taking its time, compensated creativity is still aplenty…

This Week on Klassic Note
Well this is a week for many releases as I mentioned last week, and I also took some time to go through them, with the break I got myself for Wednesday by not going for lessons. (Audience: …) ANYWAYS, this week is rather good, after I have a few days to come to terms with them. *laughs* Ikimonogakari’s single is rather expected, ie. I didn’t take the long B-side song. For miwa’s double A-side single, I think I only gave one of the songs, the first one I think. But I still think for an emotional song the last chorus with like a whole school of students behind the microphone may be unnecessary. I also notice it’s about time for her next album already. *wink* Rie fu’s album is pretty good ever since I heard it two weeks ago, with half the album already in the list. Aki-chan’s single is what “come to terms” was referring to, but they are good nonetheless. What’s worse, the package didn’t arrive. (Audience: Oh damn. I thought it was Friday? What happened?) Well it’s a long story. Suffice it to say that I missed the receive and have to get it tomorrow instead at not the nearest post office machine (which is automatic), but I have to join the queue at the post office at the next neighbourhood. Whoever made that decision to switch delivery locations is a d**k. Who is going to pay for my transport fees now! Argh talking about it makes me pissed already…

Moving on, we have a few releases due next week already in view. Goose house’s single show promise for now, and I still have a few days before it counts as “pre-order”, and as for Kalafina’s new single I went for the B-sides. Apparently I may need to wait for new songs to give them a chance again, I suppose.

I guess that’s all. Be sure to check by my YouTube channel (KlassicNote@YouTube) for the latest music videos without the need to search for cheap videos off the Internet. Other than that… my exams are coming soon so if you would pardon me I’d like to rest as much as possible so I don’t break down due to… low level stress. Haha.
[P.S.:

Well Aki-chan’s the focus this week, and probably tomorrow the image on my homescreen will change. It will. Trust me. I have the gift waiting at the post office. Next neighbourhood. Goddammit.]
[P.P.S.: I know. I tried to find an image for Mikakoshi’s birthday but I noticed I used all the good ones already. Happy Birthday anyway Mikakoshi.

She’ll probably not know that anyway. Unless I post it on Twitter? In Japanese??]

Imagine if your desire for anyone/anything were satisfied ever since you were born. You'll be a much happier person as you would be now.

The Entertainment News Week #45

Hey guys, welcome back. Since I feel like in a good mood for now (yes for now, maybe not tomorrow), I shall take more time doing this? We shall see. I don’t feel like doing much, more on sleeping these days…

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (last episode): Somehow it got solved? Maybe Yuzuki just noticed that people are worrying about her, or just the author doesn’t want to drag this story anymore (recall this is an Anime original), but I see some gap that requires more episodes in order to be answered. Moving on, we see more in the mystery of that saucer that is above their heads after a wonderful mini scale fireworks festival. We are close to halfway there, and I don’t see more development. Maybe I’m expecting too much?
Uma no Hone: Somewhat a Sensei-chan focused episode, she tries to rush her first serialisation as a manga artist and with the usual drama, also reveals her time in staying at the store, with some serious problems in regards to the lack of femininity with her actions. Somewhat reminds me of what soldiers do outfield. Wow, she’s good for the army, huh…
KimiUso: Apparently the writer in RC cannot take the Anime production already, but I’m not going to give up just yet. Not like I hate the show, till now it still shows a lot about Kousei and his idea of getting back his confidence in playing music, due to the lack of that natural learning curve when he was a child. I know, it needs more time to get into him. But apparently it’s doing well, him jumping off the river bridge along with Kaori-chan. Nonetheless, I’m expecting more in terms of mood, though different from Toradora!, and it should just get better. I don’t think it’s bad, really.

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Yep the Zero Division is screwed. So are those who do not deserve the power, and the Quincy leader just redistributes them to those who are useful. At least Kubo didn’t remove all and focus only like FIVE or something…

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
Well this week features only two singles, if I didn’t remember wrongly, for there are more starting from next week. fhana’s new single is far from impressive as I’ve said last week (probably), and the PV doesn’t make it any better. I also gave chance to Mikakoshi’s new single, because I gave for the quirky melody and transitions in the song. Although the B-side song with lyrics written by her is not my fancy (referring to the melody here), at least I gave a listen. Well, next time Mikakoshi.

Next week brings us a whole group of releases featuring Rie fu (I’m prepared to give half the album already), miwa (haven’t heard anything much from this yet), Ikimonogakari which I gave the A-side already and nonetheless with the CD coming possibly another week later, Aki-chan’s new single. Seriously looking forward to it. But also means emotional songs need to be stricter in standard to be in my list this period, for example miwa’s new song is an emotional one, along with Porno Graffitti’s new single which features a song about… women? Not that I’m sexist, but I don’t know. I used to like their songs… *recalling songs 2010-2011*

Also in the news is the return of ClariS, that unseen schoolgirl (now university students) duo that made into fame from 2010, is getting a remake, with Alice out for her studies (apparently) and Karen into the equation. With the new song… they sound like each other. I don’t suspect two of the same person, but hope Sony Music Japan didn’t just pick a random girl on the streets to match with the girl that brought the Anime world down… with music, I mean. More new songs in the further weeks include SCANDAL’s new music video which is on YouTube now with some superhero action (along with a bunch of lucky freaks *Hmph*) along with an acoustic version of Goose house’s new song, also KimiUso’s opening song. Their best song I’ve heard so far, I must say.

So many things, so little time left. (Audience: For what?) My exams, goddammit. And I still have a final assignment to pass up for a project before the end of this semester. Haiz, what to do? Maybe start on work and less of… I don;t know. So much of the things I enjoy is somehow hurting me in within. Maybe it’s just me, haha. Cya guys next time, and I’ll see if Aki-chan’s new single will ever come any earlier. I have the whole of next week (and the week after) anyway…

[P.S.: The recent update of Aki-chan’s website brings a lot of wonderful images of her… in a winter outfit. Anti-climax.

“Well, it’s not like I want to see her reveal more skin or something like that!” (Audience: LOL tsundere)]

The Entertainment News Week #44

Ok I’m very distracted by playing games on my Windows PC, Android Phone and Surface Tablet now, so let’s get this done and over with.

(Audience: Isn’t Windows and Surface the same thing-) (Oh shut up.)

アニメ
ANIME
Sora no Method (last episode): Why last episode? Because by the time you read this you most likely can watch/have already watched the latest episode, unless you’re someone who waits for the season to end… whatever. In the (currently) latest episode, we still how much Yuzuki is struggling to be herself and take her stand while everyone around her is worried about her mental state. Or course, we cannot forget the weekly cute fanservice Noel who just pops up everywhere to help everyone out. Funny how much it has developed in story but actually it does not. Much better compared to the Anime original I watched last season already, as this progresses to a state where… somehow something has to happen. And hopefully it’s not a disappearing Noel. Well, I don’t mind though.
Denki-gai no Honya-san: All about panties and sad cat stories again. Sounds very familiar to Seitokai Yakuindomo, which, already got their latest OVA out which… currently is not translated as of date. Too bad, huh. Nonetheless, this show does provide its own taste of opinion, like, even if it’s sexually harassing and downright wrong. But this is a show that delivers laughter and tears too, so I think overall it’s still quite good. Weekly laughs are something; Do not underestimate it, man.
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: (yesh there’s only these three, n00b) Wow what an episode just focused on a performance. I swear even K-ON! doesn’t do such things in an episode, even if for filler purposes. But then more focused on is the way things are forced around. I mean, like you see how Kousei is being forced to embrace his feelings for his mother, regardless good or bad, or how much is left in his memory. On the other hand, due to the intense music duel, Kaori-chan seems to not be able to stand it and collapses. I can see why, but then I guess it’s kind of an overhaul, especially when she’s in a recital. Oh yeah, not like she gives a damn about it anyway, huh. Great to see how this goes, but hopefully Kousei has recovered from his scar just that little bit. Little bit because I know it’s only four episodes in, haha.

When will I do this with the latest episode of Sora no Method? Probably with a next week without a Monday for me, yes?

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Wow. Like, one chapter of light beam, and the Sternritters thought they’re going to die, and yes, it’s resurrection time. Stupid Kubo. He needs new ideas already. And where the hell is Ichigo and company? It’s about time already… NOT. <<Kubo’s comment
Tonari no Kashiwagi-san: As expected, Kou (Tina’s boy/man) does find a name or two familiar, and quite unsurprisingly it’s the girls. It’s a long story, but at least the author bothers to explain how it ties up to Kotone’s fear to the guy when they see each other. That’s good. What happens next? I don’t think much. Competition? I guess not too. Really, they have their own to take care of. Tina and Kou, Sayaka and Kusano-kun, and… well let’s not talk about them, shall we? They’ve got a long ways to go…

ゲーム GAMES
I’m not really a gaming person now, but then recently been bored so I’ve been finding myself games to play to kill off the study stress after a whole series of tests last week. Well been trying out with Train Fever again, a transport simulation game that is still in the works, but I can see it being very good. I mean ‘very good’ as in ‘above the average of the games in the genre’, understand? On my Windows 8 tablet I tried to find touch screen apps from the Store but not much has appeared, so I just went with a city building game that focuses on balance, Harmony Isle. Very weak game though, not much to talk about, but I’m just killing time here. On Android and also iOS I noticed a game made from SimCity – SimCity BuildIt – which has never left the country it’s produced, but seems to be quite a playable game, so I… took the easier way out. Not like, kill myself to get it though. Because I really missed those days I was playing SimCity Social on Facebook, yes? Haiz why are dismissing the good games away…

Why do I not introduce more games? Because not many games are to my tastes and standards, especially when I’ve probably played on every genre in the game industry until there’s nothing new to test. Don’t mind me, I do try games about from time to time. Now I rather not play games but watch other people play games online. Because I have no friends. Funny Neat’s say that too, huh.

This Week on Klassic Note
Well this week isn't’ much. Larval Stage Planning’s new single somehow got into me, so I gave the usual complimentary 4-star rating to songs like this anyway, along with fhana’s new single which came out yesterday too. I also gave the two new songs for Chatmonchy’s new revival single, but unfortunately due to them putting a remix song that isn’t in my list, I’ll have to give the single a miss. Also this week was Denki-gai no Honya-san’s ending song, which sounds better than I expected, and short song too. After that the B-side is not my business. I better start rejecting these songs before I start mass recruiting them for forced labour. (Audience: Labour? For what?) (For slave music enjoyment… LOL)

Well I guess that’s all, folks. I’m not Looney Tunes, and neither am I going  to watch them now. See you guys next time, and until then… Ayachi’s all over my face. Not her, but her images. Really. Even though I’d really like it if we’re on bed togeth- Oh what the hell am I thinking man…
[P.S.: The Ayachi tribute.
Because this is great (ie. too damn kawaii) and I”m keeping the new image I just got for next week. Well… and I tell you the screen will just look better when the new Android update comes out. Don’t forget that I use a Google phone hehe…]

The Klassic Note Review – 2014.10 Issue 3 (The Package)

Not that I have more releases to add to my shelf, but I’m just going to show what’s new on my shelf, with respect to the previous issue. And probably next time if I have to do it separately (which I’ll try not to; I have to write more), I’ll do it like this too. I figured it’s better than putting it in Entertainment News. Like, for there it’s just a summary. Here’s for case studies (the Klassic Note tag), and details are at Twitter. Yep. Go visit it if you are free. I need no followers, if I need to mention that again.

THE PACKAGE
Yes I know images speak a thousand words, so I shall cut short the essay and give an image.

As you can see, it’s Ayachi’s new single, Ikimono’s new single along with Kon Natsumi’s single for Anime “Isshuukan Friends.”, which are all awesome in its own way.

For Ayachi, yes I got the gift, it was great, especially when you crop that irresistibly cute face and paste it on my phone homescreen. (I’ll show it this weekend, stay tuned) After that, not much of her due to the nature of an Anime cover.

Also an Anime cover is Kon Natsumi’s single, which has been a heated argument within Klassic Note (which only consists of myself, so… yeah), is finally staying at my shelf. Problem is like some artists I know her photos are all over the booklet, contrast to the Anime cover. And yeah with reference to people who do not have the looks, I tried not to look too much. And I’ll only show one. If I scan the whole booklet you guys will probably… I don’t know. Maybe you’ll like her. Her singing voice, I guess.

As for Ikimono, it’s the usual three pages featuring the members, and yeah with First Press Edition comes with the special card, which is great as always. But then they have it for every release including DVDs and albums, which I probably cannot collect them all, but never mind. In Klassic Note that’s not even important.

Because just coincidentally I got it all from Tower Records Online, which has shown impressive service since the last time I bought somethign from them. Only problem I see is a minor scratch on Ikimono’s single, which… if I asked for a replacement will be a pain in the… brain. Because it’s troublesome. If I got it from the shop front maybe I’ll do it. But if you’re like ways from that, I guess it’s better to just take it, unless I really see major damage.

Reason is I got it like, two days ago, if you have followed in Twitter, but since no one is at home to claim the package it got reserved at the post office, and it’s not until today that I got it. This is also a good chance because I’ve reached the week in my studies for I cleared by quizzes (ok there’s one more on Friday) and presentations for the semester. So this package after that is sure a joy to have, just at the right time.

Cya guys then, until next time… I know. I’ve been listening to new songs. This week just gets better. Ciao~
