The Entertainment News 2020 Edition Issue #17

In case you didn't notice the spelling mistakes here and there (if any) over the past few weeks, it's because I did not have those travelling times between office and home to be able to spell check my blog posts now which is what I normally do otherwise, so... I'm trying to not screw things up here haha rest assured

Another week, another set of new episodes, I guess. Somehow had an urge to watch more Shinako or Kana-chan if you're into her instead of her role in the show haha time to get more bromides lmao shut up I gotta spend money when cooped at home okay?? Haha let's start

"Apparently artistic jobs aren't your thing" BURN haha Hime-chan don't mind us your dad is DEFINITELY not doing an art-related job

Wow this guy had to use an alias in public so that his real name wouldn't be tied to the manga artist so that his daughter wouldn't find out about it lol if you're daughter is a detective then she will bro haha. (By the way my alias in Japan is "Aozaki Shouhei", no joke, just look at my Twitter now) In this new episode (#Kakushigoto04) just like every episode, a good analogy is like someone trying to grind the ink tablet to write calligraphy, but just that you never stop grinding until the ink gets so thin and dry but you're still doing it. That's... how resilient the jokes are in this series haha. Okay, plot. Firstly, fortune telling. Hey, them girls gotta do it, and people do it around the world, and I paid thousands to change my phone number because my mom believed is in it, so... it's a woman thing man, just saying. *laughs* Anyways, Hime-chan got into fortune telling with names, in which we also found out that Kakushi debutted as a manga artist with his real name so that's a problem when he starts using it in public eg. his credit card purchases but hey, the name he gave himself is ten thousand times worse which is probably why then his manga is selling like hotcakes. Thought to be influenced by fortune telling though, is the new editor and everyone in the editing studio, though it's more like an coincidence when the maid Nadila introduced to Hime-chan her native way to doing fortune telling... lol the new editor liked it though haha. Next, Kakushi gets to draw stuff. I know it sounds normal but hear me out (lol), it's for Hime-chan's assignment. Yeah, now that's a problem. So Kakushi is apparently stuck between afraid of being too good for the daughter's standards as a kid (if you would recall her making curry that was too professional haha "Namaste!" lmao) and his pride as a manga artist for not showing off his skills lol thought I would argue in this case the latter took more attention since he was asked to draw scenery and... he isn't great at it. *laughs* So you know, he wouldn't be found out anyways. Still, with his pride back in place, he still kind of wants to be better (even though we know art style doesn't matter in manga because really, shit drawing manga get their Anime adaptation too just watch any number of shows in my Anime List haha), so... he takes on a (kids) art lesson lol. Taught by none other than the one young idol high schooler he found on the streets a while ago haha what a coincidence. So cue HAREM PART TWO!! *laughs* This series is great haha Kakushi just NEVER explains his intentions for doing anything to them anyways lol. Besides accidentally picking up Naru-chan, he also picked up the sensei once again (lol) by proving to her that he did not participate in Hime-chan's assignment so she wouldn't get flagged for it haha she probably won't even if you help. Anyways, the two go to the zoo, and the sensei gets to watch. Haha that might sound cliche for a date lol, but what's more of a cliche is when she gets found out by the other kids from school alone, and thought she was solo dating ie. going out alone while missing his/her (probably) dead partner haha this show is great. To conclude, I would like to bring your attention to whatever Hime-chan was recollecting about at the start, and at the end, as a grown up. So we now know that the mother played a real improtant part of her life as a kid, from making the boxes for each year (the ones after 17 is still a mystery maybe) (Haha did I hint it was from the dad? I, uh, did some fortune telling for this series lol no I didn't read the original work at all) to their trip with the mother to the zoo when Hime was younger... ah, it wasn't imagination after all girl, you have seen it before as a photo. As the single father family memories surface episode after episode, we might ever be closer to this confrontation at some point, and boy would I be ready with manuscript paper tissue paper to cry when it happens haha. Meanwhile, we can still enjoy a good amount of episodes worth of jokes, misunderstandings (mostly from the "women of the streets" lmao) and Hime-chan innocence while we still can. We can, I assure you. I don't want the reality hit to happen this quickly, really. Hime-chan is still cute let her stay like this in this series for as long as we can hehe

"And once you get decent, it gets kind of boring" Yeah, he's not wrong haha

Man, did I jump into this faster than I wanted maybe because I'm thinking of Kana-chan Shinako haha okay let's talk about not her first lol. But seriously Shinako stop trying to date his brother!! *laughs* Okay in this new episode (#YesterdayWoUtatte04), we talk mostly about Rou-kun. Rou... he's your wakai dansei type of problems, all of them. He's young, he's motivated to pursue his dreams, he... can't get relationships. Hey, aren't we all? *laughs* (Okay maybe not the motivation for me but) So yeah, we talk about why Rou-kun matters in this series. Firstly, what we know thus far. He's the brother also technically childhood friend to but not really, to Shinako who is his neighbour back in Kanazawa. Problem is, Shinako is only here to take care of the brother Yuu, and yeah probably regards Rou as like a brother or something. Like family, than lovers to any extent. Is that good though? For Rou, it might not be good enough. Between juggling his current art school goal and dealing with living outside of the old house back in Kanazawa, he has a lot of things going on while still remembering the past. I mean, like Shinako, he also can't get over the fact of his brother's absence. However, compared to hers which is affection through care, his is snatching the spotlight through Shinako herself. You see, if you like someone... *laughs* Yeah, but we already know Shinako is probably around the grey area but slightly towards the love side between sympathy and love in this case, so Rou you already lost in this aspect, bro. It is hard to move on, as we can see in Shinako's case of rejecting Rikuo, and whatever misunderstanding of rivals there is at the convenience store lol, but suffice it to say that Rou at this point still thinks that he has a chance with Shinako, I guess. That ambiguity, is his presence, and probably his drive to screw things up between the lot. Again, as we know so far, Rikuo got rejected, but not like that boy knows about this. *laughs* To be honest? I don't have such problems so I don't really get how it feels to be in this, but I would argue like Shinako, Rou is also stuck with this past that he rather forget. Though obviously Shinako is getting a harder time in doing this compared to him, as the boy tries to pick up his life altogether so he can, at least, prove to Shinako that he's grown up after all. (I mean, being an a**hole kid by leaving your bro at home in bed while asking the girl to go see fireworks? DUDE WHAT THE F-) Maybe it's this lack of a grown up story, is what will drag him down to whatever he wants in his relationship between Shinako haha. I don't care personally because you know, I dig the Rikuo x Haru-chan ship now. *laughs* I hope for the sake of the series, the Anime is still throwing us character focus episodes so we can actually come to some confrontation (or probably misunderstanding clarification, with most romance shows like this they gotta) after giving us this much context behind all their stories and their motives within this love... rectangle? Should we even count Haru-chan in? Haha we will once Rou-kun starts liking her haha oh the fourth guy is me? *laughs* Yeah I like Haru-chan and Shinako too but I'm not really into shorties so... *gets punched by Haru*

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?

"They say nothing pleases a man more than a woman being interested in his interests" Sadly for Kaguya-sama, this will not turn out well like most other cases haha hey what do I know

Ah, now I see where this is going, with such an abrupt "end". Hey, finally new character next episode? We sure hope it happens. Man, at this rate we might be able to get season three- Okay in this new episode (#KaguyaSamaS203) we... get a little sad. Hey, probably the saddest of episodes in this series so far, so I'll take one once in a blue moon. Talking about the moon, (I call that perfect comedic timing haha) we start with watching the full moon. Well, the fullest of moons. Yes, if you need an astronomy lesson here because I took one in university, there is one time of the year that the moon will be particularly close to any part of the planet, and that is normally where many like to gather to look at the moon, amongst the 11 other times the moon lights up in full brightness. So, didn't know Shirogane is a fan too (I mean, I sort of became one for a while after going through those lectures too tbh), but yeah, he may be too much of a fan. So much so he is so distracted about it, he doesn't even care what he does to anyone. And sadly or not, Kaguya set herself to be his target. *laughs* Hey, I say that as a joke but, you see all those lovey-dovey stuff they did? I mean, I've never been that enthusiastic about anything to do this to women or maybe I did, but hey, I'm not Shirogane. *laughs* In this battle alone, Kaguya probably lost to the moon until the guy realises what he did but not until you hear the story about Kaguyahime (if you need a summary and don't bother clicking on the wiki page OR if you missed watching "RikeKoi" story goes woman on moon gets born on Earth taken up by a man who cuts bamboos and they eventually fall in love with each other, but she has to go back to the moon, rejecting all suitors so that one day she can go back to her true love) and think, hey maybe Kaguya-sama is like her too. Well, I guess so. Shirogane is right though; the guy did not take the hint. Besides, I'll live forever as long as I don't live forever as an old man haha please keep me young immortality pill just like Kuro-san from "Kyokou Suiri" haha. Then, we move on to the epic conclusion (okay just joking but it's) of the student council of the school year. Yep, The President is done. He got tired. Doing that work for two years relying on caffeine to survive (lol), he earned his reward for carrying out his duties way more than he worked for it, so he deserves a break. And thus, the Council is disbanded. Well, I guess that's the end then cya guys next week for the other two shows *laughs* Okay, obviously that did NOT happen, because Kaguya wanted it. Hey, somehow I feel that she is being more desperate than usual in this season, but seeing everyone pack up stuff which brings back our memories too maybe not Ishigami lol like for example the French exchange (Sally-chan you will be missed haha you can follow her on Twitter though not like I do lol) and Ishigami being hit to Shirogane wearing rabbit ears (kyawawawa haha MARRIAGE) to everything else Kashiwagi related... lol those were great memories. (I would argue that Kaguya's suggestion for Student Council is *chef's kiss*) And as they end, Kaguya felt empty. Yeah, not just for Myu-kun (lmao), but also for the rest of them okay maybe not Chika-chan haha lmao Kaguya please she got this Anime millions of views on YouTube with that one ending song. So yeah, another year then, I guess since high school is 3 years long. But in this case though, and that's where the new character will pop in, is elections for the Student Council, and now that Shirogane has to do this all over again, he might either have some competition or maybe have some more help since he's working his a** all the time anyways. Which one might it be featuring this love rival though? I don't think we have to wait long to find out haha this Anime is already topping the charts at this point even my charts haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note

Okay, this week we got a couple of releases we can talk about to wrap up this month. I'm skipping nano.RIPE's new single since I'm really not into them anymore now so next album maybe? Haha meanwhile Ryokuoushoku Shakai's new album is great, but not as great as I expected from their first album (this is the second), but you know, I'll try to give a few. Okay maybe only just the one topic song since I'm only trying to find songs to get hype now. SpecialThanks' new album, however, is raking in all the songs in Klassic Note so I'm giving them as much as I can, those short but sweet songs, happy and sad. It's their new band formation, and I'm glad I can get into some punk rock once in a while. Thank goodness that's not all of them otherwise I might just leave haha

On news on Twitter and beyond if any, VELTPUNCH's new music video is onset to the three-part music video release every month until I guess an album is announced so HYPE!! (Mostly because of that like on the tweet hehe) Aimer releases live music performance videos on her YouTube channel so be sure to check them out (orchestra anything emo from Aimer is weird imo) Ryokuoushoku Shakai did another video for "FIRST TAKE" who strives to only give artist one chance to make it good (and it is good), SpecialThanks released more music videos in view of their album release this week, SPECIAL OTHERS' new music previews as I'm constantly trying to avoid them to not ruin the first impression experience I so desire, UNLIMITS released their library of songs since they left major to music subscription services which includes of course Apple Music Japan, and THE ORAL CIGARETTES pumped out a new music video because you know, they can. Again, not a fan of music videos because the music matters more than whatever the video can present. Nothing beats the beats of imagination, bro. Ask VELTPUNCH how they imagined their songs that music video is really good hehe

For next week... FINALLY we get to THE ORAL CIGARETTES' new album (let me check the date) (yes I think so haha that virus man killing all those release dates) and I hope for their sake I like their songs because if you have been listening to their slew of music videos which covers like half the album by now they are... very different to what I have heard so far. It's great, I must say, but man, it's not appealing to me right now. Hope that will change next week. *laughs*




Okay boy am I glad I have some creative time to myself so I can write some code to make myself happy like create an image gallery (go ahead and fork that and slot in web images if you want) so I can view ma girls anytime without Pinterest haha yes I do use that to see pirated images lol. Talking about those, I got myself another batch. And mainly because I have not been spending anything for the last month besides on bubble tea which my local government just banned exclusive shops on selling (sigh) I thought I should burn a hole in my wallet to celebrate... my pay raise. Haha yeah, it's happening. Now that I have more responsibilities including having to deal with random shit on the weekends in case any of the hundreds of clinics which are still operating have a malfunctioning server, I hope I still have some time for myself haha. The Entertainment News 2020 Edition Issue #16

Hey, everyone. Welcome back. My weekend... is practically today only haha work man...

Anyways, first time in like, many weeks I'm ACTUALLY listening to the latest tunes while writing this intro. No livestreams (not that there aren't any), no new videos, no old videos as background... I'm trying to give new songs here, man. But as you have known, the world isn't doing too well Japan included, but suffice it to say many are either delaying their releases or not announcing release dates at any point. I mean, it's not that important, but we may be left in the emptiness for a good time. Time to listen that Nu-chan best album haha AH SEE WHY NOW?? *laughs*

Okay, Anime this week was great, so let's talk about them first.

"Hime-chan... are you poor?" Hey kid, your sensei didn't teach you not to discriminate? "Then I like being poor" Hime-chan no~!! *laughs* In this new episode (#Kakushigoto03) where we find out at least one of the three friends of Hime-chan is a rich guy's kid lol, Hime-chan should really know that if you have the capacity to move house especially to another plot of land in Japan, you are probably well-off. *laughs* I mean, some don't even get to move house now THAT is called poor lol. Okay, let's ignore that for now, and continue where we left off. With Hime-chan grown up, in the place she grew up in. First things first, and since she saw her old place, is that, her current abode looks the same as this one. Yeah, the father replicated the house, probably in honour of the mother, I would assume. For a modern setting, this obviously does not blend in, which also kind of leads Hime-chan into thinking they are not well off enough, even without the friend influence. Focusing on less of the house but on the poor part, Hime-chan then thought the father is really not working much for money (she's not wrong though haha manga artists do not have stable income compared to a salaryman), and starts saving money like what my mother does when she starts picking up stuff I throw away haha. So yeah, he told the girl they aren't poor, but not like he explained why the house still looks traditional. To save more money, Hime-chan also skipped the house cleaning service the father normally tells her to call to clean the place, but you know. I would argue that 10-year-old may be too young for cooking and/or housework, but the father shouldn't be stopping her from doing so. And that's why we call these guys protective of their kids haha. So, they got that Indo maid to cook for them haha. Boy, is Indonesia getting references two many times (get it, two?) for their own good haha feels at home now considering I live in Southeast Asia haha. For a plot twist, as Kakushi talks about his situation to the other co-workers at his workplace, they then decided that keeping up with technology on his line of work would be beneficial to their operations RIP the editor and eraser jobs lol does that even exist. *laughs* Next up, it's the sports festival. Don't ask me how Kakushi managed to be in a harem in just like, the second half of this episode, but I think he did haha. Besides picking up all the women in town lmao (we'll get to why that later) including the sensei (lmao), since he thought he might have to participate in the school event, he has been training. Yes, this manga author. This weak, skinny piece of bamboo (lol), has been training. With Hime-chan too? Oh no Hime-chan we can't have you having muscles- That's what most online personalities looks like now so whatever our future generations are going to admire this generation of fakers haha. Coming back, he was then reminded that the most important part of parents attending the sports festival is... giving their kids their lunch. Yep, like a bento. And not like Kakushi knows how to bento. I mean, he can cook, but it takes a woman- Wait. *laughs* Hime-chan won the relay race yay, she got to eat lunch with many women she doesn't know of (that's what we call "socialisation" lol), and... she didn't go home with a new mother haha. To end this, the "kin" in muscles is different when said as "shakkin"; look it up. *laughs*

"I'm like a runner who started half a lap late" This has never been more true, Haru-chan.

You know, it's not everyday you have a woman (or girl) chasing after you. I mean, I don't not when we have to #StayHome haha. Again, Haru-chan is cute. Dammit, she's cute. *laughs* Okay, in this new episode (#YesterdayWoUtatte03) where we carry on the story of Rikuo not getting his love from Shinako, well at least he's getting it from this other girl. Hey, I'll take whatever I just don't have one BOOM GOT ME lol. And so, we move on to talk about "mysterious Haru-chan" lmao. Her image though? Again, we don't know much about her. Yet. What we do know though, is that it doesn't pay to be honest. *laughs* Can't you see I'm writing this as I watch- Okay let's talk about it, everything. Before we start, finally looked up on context, and yes, it's 1998 when the author started. So yeah, 1998 Tokyo, by the way. So... no iPhone, basically. Hand phones aren't really a thing then too, so payphones are all you see in this episode, by the way. So take note, kids, we're going to talk about that in a minute. *laughs* (I feel old now lol) So, firstly, about Haru-chan. Before the end of this episode, we know she's a girl (duh), she dropped out of high school because she was suspect to work part-time during her studies without good reason (we'll get to that in a while), and likes Rikuo. Hey, that's good enough for starters haha I don't even- Okay, (haha) but this episode, we learnt the reasons behind her current situation. She probably worked part-time at that time to support her family, considering she got introduced to a new stepdad from the mother. So yeah, you can think about it yourself. Shinako may have felt bad being her teacher back then, but that's not to stop her from living her life anyways. It's also quite a good reflection of society to where studies can bring you, because compare Rikuo to Haru-chan and their only difference is their gender one graduated from high school. So yeah, very showing of Japan's education and job system in their country too in the '90s, I suppose. Then, what happened. Haru-chan got stood up. I would say that whoever even DARES to stand up to her in a date should be killed (lol), but hey, it's a good setup. Mainly due to the flu virus going around which is not as bad as the one going around in 2020 right now (lmao), but hey, from Rikuo to his buddy at work and to Shinako, the rainy season has gotten many people sick, I guess. It's kind of obligatory though, I would argue, for Shinako to share concern to Rikuo as much as she has been all these years, and of course, for Rikuo to also do it in return considering (1) he's not a kid anymore and (2) he can actually feel what it means to do so, to Shinako in this case. Sadly, well not really but unfortunately, he missed the meetup he had with Haru-chan becuase someone got a pair of movie tickets and would love to have a date with him. I mean, 1998 me will NOT have chosen to take a nap even if I've taken care of my friend till 5am. NEVER. *laughs* That or, I'll have an alarm ready, to say the least. Still, Rikuo's not an a**hole for standing her up, but you know, damage has been done, so... haha. I really enjoyed such a simplistic yet strong, or shall we say, emotional touch on such a timeless thing we call relationships after all these years. So yeah, it's a wonderful episode. What was of course, icing on the cake this episode, if you have not noticed, is how they lack communication other than physical contact. Yep, this might take nottalgia trip to find out, but suffice is to say that since phones aren't really convenient back then, people can only go to fixed communication facilities and hope someone won't stand you up. Now in 2020 with everyone with a portable phone in their hand, if you stand me up I'll just b*tch about it on you on the phone haha. Or WhatsApp, typically. *laughs* So yeah, it was quite a time back then. Even so, if you haven't felt it, the emotions flowing through this episode is really good, from Shinako's subtle entrance to see Rikuo (hey, we know you still concerned about him after your dumped his confession in the trash haha), to Haru-chan's initiative to date go watch a movie with the guy, to Haru-chan trying to get over the fact that she is less important than someone who is technically unwell but she could have been accounted for at some point... Hey Haru-chan just wants to be friends, bro. You have to be so bad on her? *laughs* Good people are hard to find. To end this, as a final advice Haru-chan? If you're used to white lies like (how your mother probably lied to you about her marriage with your father BOOM GOT HER haha) these, then too bad this honest guy will take you nowhere. Start liking honestly, girl. Being honest is already a rare trait in many people nowadays, I feel like I should still be awarded for NOT being able to lie. *laughs* Maybe that's what made me alone today haha DAMMIT RIKUO lol cya guys next week.

From the sister, I think we can determine that something is wrong with the one guy hey happy birthday Shirogane, by the way. *laughs* Haha Kaguya-sama you want to date his sister now? *laughs* In this new episode (#KaguyaSamaS202) we... are heavily involved with the Shirogane family haha not the father. *laughs* Okay, stop laughing so much like Kaguya we got story to talk about. Firstly, window shopping. Well, they spent money so I wouldn't say that now, but yeah, this is for compensation for when the father LITERALLY stopped her from going out with other people. Okay, with guys it's understandable but with girls? Come on, dad. *laughs* Anyways, Kaguya's objective here is to, since Miyuki's birthday is near, prepare something for him by asking from the imouto. Sadly, as we have found out, their relationship might not be too great to even know of anything that would give Kaguya a good clue, so that was kind of a waste. Ignoring the objective though, I don't think that Kaguya is into Miyuki, but maybe she can try dating the father and she'll think he's like the son too just joking Kei-chan is pretty awesome haha you're second to Hayasaka right now imo haha. And yes, thanks to the sis now, we also know how much of a man Miyuki is haha, which probably resembles the father because I think in season 1 we got such an insight too haha. Well, so long as Kaguya likes him for it I don't care lmao. Then, the day arrives. Earlier on though, angel side Kaguya prepared a (literal wedding sized) cake for his day, but man, she then realised what she did before actually giving it to him at the end of the school day. Hmm... I know it's kind of for dramatic effect to show her own inner fighting, but yeah, maybe a bit of a stretch (lol a kid for a judge in court), but suffice it to say Kaguya did the most matured thing ever by telling him to not open the cupboard cutting him a piece of the action. Get it, cake? *laughs* Also, he can cut her up too if she presents herself as a birthday present- And a birthday present too? (Don't tell her that in Chinese culture giving someone a fan is asking for them to separate with you haha) Haha you don't know how happy that guy is now lol. Despite all this, Shirogane himself is still in disbelief that Kaguya did all these for him on his day. I mean, the narrator is literally laying the truth on him and he thinks is a dream?? Come on. *laughs* Anyways, he gotta know, so somehow he has to use his wits to find out for himself. Sadly, the seeds have been planted, as Kaguya walked in with Chika-chan only to realise she doesn't know of his birthday? Yes, apparently her haha. If not for Ishigami's intrusion to the room and telling about his birthday present to him (what a creep, liking guys) (haha), we might see a Kaguya break into pieces and probably die of happiness from seeing the guy he likes with the gift she gave him. Hey, ladies, say that isn't the best thing you want to see in a relationship EVER haha she is learning. All in all, fantastic episode, it may have been dragged out at some point I don't know, but you know, all is fair in love and war. Fair as in, Kaguya as a personal assistant and Shirogane only has his wits or maybe his sister to throw him off his usual image lol bye

As I'm listening now, Scenarioart's new album is... not exactly awesome, but man is it awesome when you start forgetting all the previews you've heard so far haha. Again, which is still justifying me listening to previews immediately and forgetting all about them so I can still like the new songs- they are great btw. It depends on what type of Scenarioart you like more, I guess. I can take conventional Rock music them, but we know we aren't here for that, so I don't know why they still have a lot of songs on that aspect. Hey, maybe I'm not into them yet. Maybe. But I'm giving a lot than a couple more, so we shall see. Suzuki Masayoshi's best album which includes Anime "Kaguya-sama" opening theme songs this second season is... I didn't review it. *laughs* Hey, convince me to listen to like 40+ songs sung by someone many generations back then me haha. So yeah, only just giving the one. On the topic of giving theme songs, I'm also giving Anime "Yesterday wo Utatte" theme song (yes there is not opening or ending it's just the one, but I suppose changing over the series) from yourness' new digital single which released last week, and... I think I can used to them. But again, not buying them just yet because we know people who can write better melodies then them haha I'm just here for the mood. I haven't gotten time to go listen to Anime "Kakushigoto" theme songs but the ending theme is coming in a special release end May so I guess I'll wait for that instead of dig another old singer's best album HAHA SUZUKI-SAN GOTCHA lol okay (in case you didn't catch that joke the above ending theme song is sung by veteran singer-songwriter Ootaki Eiichi)

On news in Twitter and beyond that is still music related because everyone is online now, GLIM SPANKY, Ryokuoushoku Shakai, cinema staff are among many who released new videos (from themselves or not) (okay cinema staff was a tour documentary not live performance) to give a little of themselves online in this tiring period, so I'm only nothing but thankful because you know, they aren't famous enough to reach here lol. THE ORAL CIGARETTES' new song is... meh haha, and I'll probably give nano.RIPE's new single a chance since I'm not listening to much liao haha

Talking about next week, there's Ryokuoushoku Shakai's new album which won't come out on physical for now because Sony Music but we can still listen to it, and still slated for release is SpecialThanks' new album that's coming soon so yay for new band formation since their hiatus like two years ago, and yes nano.RIPE's new single for Anime. I watch this series and I'm like "What's the difference between Hime-chan's life here and Takagi-chan's?" lmao okay stop associating with that wonderful series haha. In this new episode (#Kakushigoto02) where the dad gets to take a break after submitting his manuscript, he forgets the daughter is going on a school trip to the beach. Yeah, beach episode, everyone. This early?? *laughs* Also, can confirm the father is a paedophile haha wait what? *laughs* More importantly though, they are not half-a**ing this series though, as we have seen so far even. Let's keep this momentum going!! Haha okay the story. Story is as straightforward as seen above, where Hime-chan has a school trip and the father wasn't invited lol, but you know, he's a guy who worries for the chou-kawaii musume so I guess we have to go along with his antics haha. To do this, he invited his colleagues to a villa nearby the location of the school trip so to, you know, protect her? I doubt Hime-chan will get into any sort of trouble since really, she is a kid who doesn't like to think much about it. Well, back then. Even then, the father can be seen going through all sorts of things including getting an Indo chef to make the curry good (lmao I broke when the guy said "Namaste" haha) which ended up bad for kids I guess (I mean, kids only like sweet curry in Japan, just like I do) while putting the others to clean up the damn place haha. But seriously, in order to protect that cuteness (sensei not talking about you lol), these means are necessary, will probably be the general theme for the series, so I hope you are ready for more. Talking about more, because there was a typhoon the following day, the manga team ended drawing up a wonderful chapter indoors. Hey, that can be the extra chapter for the next volume haha. Next, we have fire drills, wait, drills. For what, you say? In case Hime-chan drops by. I mean, it's likely that a 10-year-old will drop my her father's office considering I don't think she even knows where it is to even navigate to here, but hey, we cannot take any chances. *laughs* So, the cover was then to be similar to what the dad wears to school: a suit, so, like a business establishment to cover up for the farce that is the manga studio. Surprisingly, it was proven too good when a bunch of security officers came by and thought this was some antisocial cult to be hiding something. Yeah, they were hiding something, sir. You don't know about intellectual property, sir? "To protect that cuteness..." haha okay no porno references, okay? I'm not talking about nipples. HAHA MOVING ON!! *laughs* This suspicion from the cops is probably because days before he and the daughter were in the summer festival somehow Gotoh's works were all over the festival grounds, probably ripped off to sell taking subtle references from a popular series, for example. You see those often on the streets and online (mostly China), so yeah, Japan itself is no exception. But yeah, hentai manga though? That's a first haha. So instead of just playing it off to the daughter which will cost nothing since she doesn't even care she won't like that stuff anyways (balls, I mean) (haha), he paid off literally everyone who sells those products. Well, he's rich because of this series anyways so I guess he technically is buying back his property rights lol. To conclude the episode, we have an interesting conclusion, where we hit back to when Hime-chan was 16. Remember last week's intro? Yeah. We continue from there. Whether we will continue to do so for next week might be a question, but what we do know is, there are more boxes, just like how there are so too when she was younger. If you need help answering this and more, remember that she doesn't have a mother, and the father can't hand sew her a kimono with his skills which is none. So yeah, what actually happened so far though? And why there are four more boxes after she hits 16 though? I guess we have to watch on to find out. This series is LIT, guys. If you need to laugh this show is more than ready to give you jokes at every corner they can find which is whenever that alarm rings at his workplace lol

So, uh, if you were missing Shinako's long hair like I do because you have long hair (on females) fetish... well, it's gone now so watch the show for the plot, yes? *laughs* *sob* And as we can see in this new episode (#YesterdayWoUtatte02), the triangle has formed. (Bermuda has nothing to do with this lol) Okay, maybe rectangle but you get the idea. So, this episode, we talk about Shinako. She.. uh, cut her hair, for starters. Not that it's really important because guys be guys when they like her even with short hair amirite?? Eh, not that straightforward. So, after the rejection. Obviously, the two did not talk. Things happened, there was the graduation, the teacher is involved, she hanged out with her colleagues with an after-party, and all is well. Until she got found out at the one park everyone walks past by Rikuo, I guess. And Haru-chan too, I guess. And Rou too, I guess haha. So, about Rou, but maybe later, let's actually talk about Shinako's back story. In her drinks with her other female colleague, she talks about how she came from Kanazawa to Tokyo after high school to study in college which of course, eventually landed her a job as a teacher there, but did not talk about her reason for migration. Hey, you don't have that long to find out. In Rou's confrontation to Rikuo at the store, and Haru-chan's to Shinako after school is over, we now know. She... I would say, is not interested in love for now, and her main reason probably for not accepting Rikuo to any extent considering Shinako is just being concerned of the sloth lol, is that she has been there before. In love, of course. And if it will make one sad, we know something happened in Kanazawa. So, long story short, before the high school graduation, Shinako had a neighbour. The family where Rou is in. But he's the brother. Of the actual guy Shinako liked. Who was unwell. And she took care of him until... he was no more. Yeah, sad story, I still had to say it anyways. But yeah, not like they have gotten out at any point I guess, considering this was technically worse than that "KimiSui" movie lol, but yeah, maybe it's really because of that, that Shinako sees relationships a little differently now. And I guess yeah, Rou is here to warn the supposed rival (lol what) to not get his hands on her? I don't know. We don't have an objective on that side. But seriously bro, for you stepping into whatever is between your brother and another woman? I'll date the shit out of Shinako OUT OF F**KING SPITE, you freaking kid!! *laughs* Okay if only Rikuo would toughen up to say it this way, it'll make of a good battle. Talking about battle, the other two girls are having at it too. I mean, if I might say in place of Shinako, if you can get Rikuo's mind off her, Haru-chan, it's more than just a favour. *laughs* Because Haru-chan here, thinks that these two are a thing (which we know, of course, it's not), and wants to declare war with her, I guess, to fight over Rikuo. I would argue that Shinako in the end may have some, just some, thoughts of getting it back with Rikuo, but somehow she is just scared. Of everything, I guess. I mean, won't say I don't have such a period, but no one wants me so... *laughs* Of course she didn't, so the two aren't even friends now, I guess. Sadded haha. Because as much as Shinako feels relived for detaching such a relationship, again, it's likely her fear of such things that will make her stuck on this forever. But I hope not, because we gotta prove it to her that love is great, signalling back to Haru-chan's potential aggression towards the guy after knowing that no one, NO ONE actually wants him anyways lmao. We shall see about that next week, girl. That one might have some fighting in her at some point in this series maybe haha

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?

Five dates till nirvana, people. Get to it, guys. *laughs* Just one, two, three, four, five...!!?? lol

Once again, the means that are done to achieve an objective in this series surpasses many Anime as even shown above this season, goodness gracious. *laughs* Welcome back, guys. To the love series that will never end. *laughs* Besides that stellar opening theme we got in the end which will haunt accompany us for the rest of the series lol, we're back in place man, the Student Council. And man, does it feel stellar after watching that theory lecture that is "RikeKoi" haha if you remember Barnum Effect you have watched that show lmao. Okay, in this first episode (#KaguyaSamaS201) we start off with Hayasaka. Again, if we haven't told you noobs about this series yet, she is MVP. Every episode. Even if she doesn't appear. Prove me wrong. *laughs* As her butler and closest assistant, she serves as the best person to execute Kaguya-sama's (evil) plans on Shirogane to, in case you forgot the original plot of the series, confess to her first so she doesn't have to. Shirogane is also plotting on that too, but you know, he doesn't have a personal assistant. *laughs* So, Kaguya-sama is always plotting on something, to say the least, but we don't really know because after getting the guy to fall asleep which means cutting his coffee source lol, he, uh, slept on her shoulder. Well, plan cancelled then, we got other things to enjoy haha. Next, the other couple who WAS successful compared to these two losers lmao. Remember Kashiwagi? Haha you bet I do. Her guy though... is kinda changed. Like a lot. And when we thought like the other two that he's here to show off his wonderful relationship, turns out it's just then asking how to progress probably because the girl said she wanted someone who looked more fashionable since before that he looked like a nerd haha. For that, I think we have reached nirvana haha what is that anyways? Hey, I guess I don't know I haven't even dated anyone five times yet HAHAHAHA okay next. Third, they play a board game. If we think it's all set up by big tits girl Fujiwara, we aren't wrong, but then again it's not that harsh. Sadly, the game is really imbalanced as Ishigami died on his first turn lol, Shirogane married Fujiwara and had 9 kids (in case you don't get it it's the former that is wrong haha the 9 kids one is probably true), and (at 57 probably haha) Kaguya had to marry divorced... wait for it, Fujiwara. And they had kids. Haha yeah, it's as poorly planned of a board game as you can think of. Really, the only merit of this step-based board game is that tiles are removed every time it's stepped on so players at the back can catch up. That's the only good thing mentioned. If you need critics as Ishigami if the game was fun haha. Lastly, horoscopes and birthdays. I think we have mentioned this before, but yeah, Shirogane gives no two sh*ts about birthdays. So Kaguya is that desperate to celebrate it for him but worries that he doesn't care. I mean, we know what this series is so if you didn't even suspect that Shirogane is the opposite of what he shows in this Student Council room you got another thing coming haha. A pretty solid episode of stuffed material in the first episode, I would argue, and I hope this momentum will carry on and give us a stellar ending at the end. Hey, someone's gotta one-up "Takagi-san" haha excuse me while I listen to more of Suzuki Masayoshi haha I'll like it eventually lol

Okay, this week. FINALLY we have new music haha. Asakura Momo's 2nd album is... surprisingly good, as first impressions do show my generosity after like, 2 weeks without new songs lol. Okay, I'm trying to not give everything but at this point I might as well be. Better check if she's eligible for review or not it's been a while since I gave an idol an album review lol Aki-chan~!! *laughs* Kugimiya Rie's new mini-album... isn't nowhere to be found, but suffice it to say that I can't get my hands on it. So yeah, we shall see when it appears then.

On news and livestreams within Twitter and beyond, Asakura Momo just hosted her release event video (yes, not livestream) on YouTube premier just now which was meh but she cute so whatever haha, Aimer's YouTube Channel surpassed 1 million subscribers so as a reward she released FIVE music videos in full for the artist who hardly releases anything in full due to... you know, Aimer-san is a good IP for Sony Music Japan, so... haha. yanaginagi livestreamed a mini live on her debut anniversary (FYI it's that leap year day) and is still available until May for listen, but what is more interesting is that I found a song which was not in her usual catalogue, so I'll probably give it a listen next week. And finally, SPECIAL OTHERS released previews on new songs for their upcoming album which I haven't listened yet so to not be spoiled but yeah, temptations are getting into me real quick haha.

So for next week, besides that one yanaginagi limited edition mini-album which I'll give a chance, Scenarioart's new album in like, 2 years since their departure from major label is coming out. This one... it's anyone's game man, including theirs, because they can go pretty far with their music, so let's see how many I can give. The last time I did so in like 2015 I was pretty generous, don't get me wrong, so I hope to continue the trend. Been avoiding the dozens of preview videos so to not get spoiled for first impressions. Then again I don't know why I'm avoiding them considering I give previews as Song of the day in Klassic Note a decade ago and every single preview I can get my hands on I listen. Oh well, expectations, isn't it? On the other hand I would argue that I did like the one song from Mocho's album so much I felt better hearing it in full when it wasn't disappointing. I would say previews make of a more extreme impression when listening in full, and I would like to avoid that tbh.



Okay we're done. I'm finishing this early since my dear Futon-chan is streaming later (with future archive too) for probably 2 hours just like she did it yesterday with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe since she's cooped up at her Japanese abode like the rest of us. Hey, not complaining anyways, since you don't get a lot of stuff when the world isn't cooped up at home and you will pay to get out of the house to meet idols and stuff, but you know, I don't. *laughs* Cya guys then, and until next time... hmm I hope you're not too bored at home if you are get a Switch and start playing Animal Crossing haha I would say some of the glitches make of the best of this game but if you are bored there's GTAIV too I'm SO HYPED I can  get my code redeemed with this version of the game without online multiplayer which I don't mind because now I can push people down a cliff again MUAHAHAHAHA haha bye

Okay serious talk, that doesn't mean I can watch Anime day and night or whatever, and I tell you, it's more stressed not knowing what to do at home then being at work, which is why I rather go to work. Then again, might be good time to chase after the Easter event in Animal Crossing now since I'll be playing most of the time instead of working- Just joking!! And stop reporting me to my boss!! Geez, I thought you were on my side...

Sorry about the drama, but it sounded so drastic of a change, I thought I'd emphasise on it. Speaking about Anime, we have new shows coming up! Not "Kaguya-sama" though, that one is next week. Still, let's see how this season holds up. As per last week I'm giving two first, but man do I want to give that Mikakoshi as main girl Anime so bad. What is it, "Arte"? But women empowerment isn't a topic I'm interested in THEY SHOULD BE AT HOME DOING CHORES okay misogynistic me let's move on okay? lol

I SWEAR if people ask about your dad's job and you say you don't know it'll be someone's flag to insult or bully you in school haha now where have I seen that before... anyways, in this nice shot (not the balls, no) of a first episode (#Kakushigoto01), things are picking up. Again, not talking about balls because this is a family friendly site lol, but hey, new editor? You're fired. *laughs* If you get this joke you'll love this episode and this series in general, because to summarise this show, it's someone having a panic attack all day long. It's famous (hentai) manga artist, Goto Kakushi, (Yes, the title's joke is also in his name, but we'll talk about that later), and his secret to his daughter, Hime. That's enough for a bunch of jokes, to be honest, and I think I can give this. Here's why. Firstly, story. In a sort of time travel forward, I assume when Hime is in high school the father decided to tell her the secret, that he's a manga artist. Yeah, it's not even about the hentai portion; he just thinks he doesn't want to give the impression for the kid that he draws for a living, hence the "kaku" "shigoto" joke compared to "kakushigoto", for those who don't Japanese out there. I mean, the subs could have done it better but hey, if you know of Jisho.org you're already a genius haha. So, about his job. It's not much of an issue if you aren't famous like some of the doujin artists out there who, probably because of the pandemic out there, is suffering because there is no Comiket now ie. physical events where they sell their work. But Kakushi here, he is famous. His work "Balls of Fury" is a bestseller, so much so that everyone around his life knows about it: from the nurse in the hospital, to the teacher in school (who, obviously, did not tell Hime about his job), to that new editor... oh yeah, that idiot. *laughs* So, that new editor's visit to his place. Which is why Kakushi was worried about that guy not aliasing with the previous editor to know that (1) do not visit his place in any capacity and (2) to never reveal anything along his line of work. That jerk did both. *laughs* Kakushi ran back home fast (whilst changing back to his suit disguise) (man, he's efficient) to see that one guy wearing the new merch for his manga at his place and Hime... thought that guy was the CEO. Haha, I'm liking the vibes of this already, to be honest. Then, the show gave insight into two things you should mind about if you want to continue watching this series, which are the kids themselves as they find things to play around, for example in this episode, explore the town to find the one hero like they are some investigation squad (lol), and Hime's relationship with his father. In this episode however, Kakushi gets to live another day despite being a hero like, twice: one at the river and one at Star- Anyways, (Haha I like how Hime-chan can only say it that far too) and also what Hime wrote as her wish for her father: to be someone important, I assume, at work. Because yeah, even till now she doesn't know what her father works as. Again, not that she needs to know because thanks sensei for making that unimportant (lol), but yeah that's when the father keeps thinking about how to, you know, be more important in his job. Just so you know, there's no promotions as manga artists unless you're a mango- Sadly, it requires him to eventually be famous (lol mango) (Also, word pun from me by the way, but you guys should know about the "mango" that grows on trees- Oh that's an English joke. *laughs*), and if he's famous as a (hentai) manga artist Hime-chan will know. Ah, the agony. *laughs* It is as of these incidents that he is more worried about the daughter knowing he's a manga artist even without the hentai label, which is why I bracket that word every time I mention it. We shall see if that works for him in the end haha. Then again, I imagine this series is a lot of these jokes where he gets close (but not close enough) to letting the daughter know about the work, and I think I'll enjoy a dozen episodes of this to be honest considering they are relatively short so there's a couple every week instead of dragging content out. Next, the animation. If Hime-chan isn't cute enough for you to refer to as "-chan", go away. *laughs* In a nutshell, the animation might be simplistic, it might be a little crude, but it can display all the characters very well, and I think that is good enough. It kind of needs to be a little sketchy for the series to make jokes like how the father can run quickly back home, for example, and so because the drawings are sketchy to make it look fast- Okay I don't want to talk too much on Anime production, just so you know. Lastly, the drop, which brings us back to the plot. If you didn't have a hunch about what will happen in the near future about this story, then you need to watch more shows like this lol. Even if you don't watch stuff like "Usagi Drop" (no word pun intended, just listing the most stereotypical of such a genre) you would realise such a single father and daughter relationship show will require him at some point to explain things to the daughter about his work. I mean, I think she will forgive him, even if she knows what it is. Her reactions will definitely not be like what he thinks, because that's what he is good at, it's his job. And if he makes a living off it, that's a job. Think about Twitch streamers and ask yourself whether his job is legit again haha. Yeah, it's as funny as you can get with such a genre, and I think I'll enjoy this every week.

I know it's ecosystem but you're raising it to ruin our lives, so please stop. *laughs* Okay, this series, I think I can watch. It's drama, so prepare yourselves a bit before you even start to watch this, to be honest. And as it is a little shallow in impact, you may have to feel more in order to like this, and I think I can. In this first episode though (#YesterdayWoUtatte01), we are already setting premises more than you can imagine. It's got sad plots, it's got reality checks, it's got maybe some sparks, it's got... everything about life. Let's talk about it. Firstly, about Rikuo. Thanks Hana-chan for revealing his name to us by asking for a leftover bento ie. you don't have money to even pay for one and you take those that are sub par standard and feed it to a woman instead of the birds lol, but suffice it to say it is not without some history. Rikuo's life... let's say it's kind of rough. He graduated from high school, but instead of going to university like many of his classmates probably or going to get a full time job like his crush Shinako as a high school teacher (probably apprentice), he works part time at a convenience store. Wouldn't say that's a glorious achievement, but I think like him too, that if it doesn't give me much pressure, and I can still live life, I'm okay. Which probably also explains why I'm still at my first full time job for almost two years but, uh, let's talk about Hana, haha. She's cute. *laughs* (Voice totally reminds me of Sakura-chan from "KimiSui" btw) She's young, she's in university now (yep yep), and... she probably likes the guy. Story goes that he probably liked him at first sight from five years ago while helping him pick up a dropped item, but hey, who knows what happened in between. Not like we're going to get a confession anytime soon because this is not how it works (lol), so we can wait for that to happen someday haha. She's weird, she likes crows and even is friends with one called Kansuke (who probably tipped on his location for food earlier lmao), she lives alone, and is a student of Shinako? Okay this is getting confusing. As far as I can understand from their conversation when they met, it sounds like Hana dropped out of high school and somehow got herself into university? Hey, just so you know, dropping out of high school is unlikely getting you anywhere in life so... I don't know. We may need more explanations down the line. Meanwhile, she is what Japanese would refer to as "sekkyokuteki", but hey, I've never gotten those in my life so... *laughs* *sob* She talks to Rikuo often, they talk often... you know, basis to forming a relationship. *laughs* Okay, his part time colleague is already pissed off why he can't get laid playing music haha. (Maybe because it's punk rock? BOOM GOT HIM lol) Then, there's Shinako. (It's Kana-chan in her 30-year-old voice?? OKAY haha) (Come on it's 31 lmao *gets punched*) I wouldn't say she pops out of nowhere, because she and Rikuo are friends, real good friends. Yeah, the guy's feelings for her is like, not much. Not "a truck load" much to say the least. *laughs* (Ugh "Kaguya-sama" please come soon haha it's next week btw) But she's kind, she kind of likes him but not in that way, and she rejected the heck out of him. Oh well. *laughs* Hey, should've done it during graduation but, you know, psychological complications haha. Also, must be status level issues lol okay we will not touch on societal issues here we can talk about that in the next three months lol. They end the episode with talking about Rikuo's hobby probably prospective job scope, photography. Thinking on how crows would work well with punk lol, he tells Hana-chan to take a pose. So far so good, I suppose. It's not something to get super hyped about, I am rather digging on this love triangle that might happen at some point hehe, and there's a cute girl albeit with a crow, so... *laughs* We shall see how this develops. Probably not crazy, but it will touch hearts. If you can feel it, you can watch it. I can, so I will. The quotes in this series sings a lot to me to be honest, and I'm not making a word pun of the title haha I wonder what it means... cya next week haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note

Sorry Nu-chan. I mean, really. I'm sorry. I have failed to, for the past few weeks, listen to your best album again even if it appeared on streaming. Now we're done with this week and next week onwards I'll have more new songs to listen... I'm feeling bad already. Again, I'm sorry, it's all because of Animal Crossing (haha), but really, someday I want to revisit your best album, hopefully within this year. I also just heard FINLAND's new digital single and... it isn't bad. Again, if you can give the vocalist you can give all their Rock music styles because it's good. If you can give the high frequency scratches of her voice, that is.

On news from Twitter and beyond, GLIM SPANKY's new song is out on May (not single/album release yet), I suppose Horie Yui's music website got revamped as an April Fool's Day joke haha, yanaginagi's new single is releasing in May as she sings for that one Anime again (go find out yourself you idiot lol), Asakura Momo's new album previews are... I'm trying to ignore them right now to get a clean slate of giving her new songs including the topic song too so don't ask if I liked them, and yes as you can see above, FINLAND's new single released last Sunday. This year's April Fool's Day jokes aren't as good as last year's haha I'm not referring to music artists they can't joke even at a time like this

For next week however, we listen to two long-awaited releases which hopefully I'll get to listen to the latter hopefully, which are namely Asakura Momo's 2nd album with a distinctive topic song as I have mentioned my affection for it, and Kugimiya Rie's new mini-album which is a first since 2012 where I liked it back then. Really, didn't expect Shana to sing this well lol. Anyways, since she's under music label Lantis, good chances we might not be able to see it appear on streaming, so I'll rely on the Internet probably to make this happen. Fingers crossed though. As you would have seen from the intro here lol, I'm going to be working from home starting next week so hopefully I'll get to play more Animal Crossing spend more time during breaks doing up the menial stuff on this PC which mostly include clipping of live performance videos for now as far as I can remember it staying on my Downloads folder and not going anywhere haha. You know how much time I can save just by having a quick lunch or not travel and play Animal Crossing- I mean, you can play on the train though, just saying. Also gonna be wearing a (reusable) mask since I don't know when on public transport just for tomorrow since I still have to go to the office for a bit tomorrow, but after that we might be over here for a while.
