The Entertainment News 2015 Edition Week #35

I sometimes wonder why I'm still religiously doing this post every week, not that I'm religious though. But, it's a good gauge of what I'm NOT doing (which is study), and what happens around me that I'm missing on. I mean, new songs and shows etc. Yeah, missing some new songs recently.

アニメ
ANIME
Sore ga Seiyuu!: I thought the narration wasn't a thing until we finished with probably the next live performance animation I've seen ever since K-ON! second season. Man, that was something at least. (I know, Futaba should go out with her No.1 fan) Anyways, the narration is another example of stuff people hardly get to touch in their career, but when opportunity comes you cannot say no, for experience, for exposure, for knowing awesome people including this week's guest voice actor Machi Yuji, also super experienced and probably the guy to find for narrations in Japan. Well, not that I know of him anyway; I hardly get to watch Japanese TV here. Honestly saying, despite the fact in the show that Rin-chan was most popular followed by Ichigo amongst the three, I must say in real life it's definitely completely reversed, haha. Come on, I watch two main roles from Takahashi Rie and none from any of the other two. Now you know who I prefer already, huh. Takahashi here has great prospect in voice acting, I must say.
WORKING!!!: Yeah, in the battle of Yachiyo VS Otoo VS his wife, Haruna wins this round against feeding Kyouko in the restaurant. Man, that was funny, haha. Also, some other things get settled, like Kazue's relationship problems (I don't know how somewhat another person hitting him makes Minegishi himself realise what love is, but whatever) and Haruna probably coming in to stay (man she got plenty of script this episode), we also will probably get to see Takanashi's mother soon. Well I'm not keeping my hopes too high because they've covered her image for this long, but then I'll look forward to it if it comes. Man this show has so much development, it feels less of a drag than last season, probably. As always, this is how production works, and I'm glad this show is going to come to a conclusion.

No Ranpo Kitan this week, don't know why. Probably delayed schedule that I wasn't informed of. Dammit.

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: I may be very confused as of now, but I think I get the picture somehow. Mayuri is about to get screwed before Nemu appears to dodge an arrow for him. Man first thing, he would've survived anyway, or at most stopped this fight by vanishing in another form anyway (I hope no one forgot that), but then now we're talking about consciousness of androids? Well I don't know, but then we now know of Nemu's real name, and probably that she isn't "created" by him. If that is not worse, apparently this leader-subordinate relationship is very absolute, which may not be good news. Anyways, she probably won't die I guess? Mayuri has so much of a reason to not die. We know that, haha.

SHOW
MythBusters: Almost forgot about the show that ends the week, and man are sharks awesome. Nonetheless, they are back with more shark repellents and unhappy busted myths, and they turn out good. Looks like it is scientifically proven that no being in this world likes the smell of their dead species. I mean, you smell a dead body and you won't run away? You must be a weird freak. But then that also begs the question of who potentially going to sell these commercially now that it's been proven? Oops.

This Week on Klassic Note
Damn I watched two lives of Kalafina's best live this year and Kana-chan's 3rd album live on TV broadcast recently and I can't seem to get a song from them. Okay, at least one, I guess, but still. And then there's the usual Sayuri's single which is great if she didn't put old remixed songs into the release. I've not been finding anything much this week, and I guess I might just do so seeing that I don't have many releases in the upcoming month. This year... has not been much. Which is great, because 200+ songs per year is kind of crazy, and taxing. And things will pick up next month as far as I know.

I need to find more songs. The desperation is killing me. And I'm also limited by my own creativity and expectations of new songs. Argh, damn myself...

I guess this is it then. *sigh* After thinking so much about entertainment, I need to think of myself some time. Seeing the future ahead of me is tough, but at least I'm going on a computer fair (as I would call it generically) with my family next week. Cya guys then, and until next time... I don't know. Just... don't think negatively. Go out. Don't be like me. Yeah, also the stuff I tell my nephew and niece. *sigh*
[P.S.: Yeah fanboys, here's your weekly dosage of bikini. And some Baba Fumika-chan.

I need to stop posting this. Too much for my physical health. My mental health, however, is going good. Without any girls in my life. (Audience: Man, serious?) Yeah. It's my fault... *sob*]

The Klassic Note Review 2015.08 Issue 1

Didn't expect to do this at this time of the year, but yeah there is good reason to do so. Because it's another single that I can happily give yet again, and this time it's from someone new. Precisely so I must do this, despite it being delayed by like a week and me not getting any free gifts out of it. Oh well, let's begin.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
TrySail - Cobalt [Single]
Anime Edition Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Yeah no close-ups. I'm disappointed. But of course this is a single with less cuteness and more coolness, so I guess it's fine. That Anime version one though...)

Origin: I'm not unfamiliar with this girls trio, ever since I got interested in voice actor Amamiya Sora (aka Ten-chan) from last year. She apparently is under MusicRayn, which means she lines along her seniors from famous group sphere. Along with new girls Natsukawa Shiina and Asakura Momo (both pretty good in my opinion), they form the next generation of a idol band. Despite the heavy competition out there, I think they can do their own style from each of their own characters, and now I'm already at their second single, even though like months ago I decided not to. There is reason, and I shall explain why over here.

(1) Cobalt
Also the theme song for Anime "Classroom Crisis" (which I did not watch, as usual) this season, this song comes in as a catchy pop tune. Why it does not grab my attention initially is purely because I want to not hear such a style. Months later after listening to the previews I gave them a chance and man did I make a right choice. Not only was the melody catchy it was also easy to listen to, giving it a thumbs up for just the format of the song overall. Simple lyrics follow along the good melody, and soon you'll notice you have to sing to it. The music video, on the other hand, is quite a disappointment, I must say. Pretty but out-of-sync CGI along with a dance from them like at the last chorus probably isn't the right way to do it, but still. This song is good, and I approve it.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Honto da yo [*Really (it is)]
Adding on to the awesomeness in the A-side, listening to this suddenly attracts me to their attention, with this literally a dating song, from the lyrics itself. I know the people behind intend to promote them, so I'm all for it. Whoever you like, however, will not change your idea of this lively tune, and overall catchy tune in itself, and must be a pop song I've heard for some time. A very good song indeed, and you can't ask more from them now.

Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: Overall a nice single to listen to. I totally enjoyed listening to this single purely because of its well made lyrics to accompany easy to listen melodies. Talk about a singular production because it's one guy doing all the composing for this one. I must commend him, because he did a good job. Hopefully TrySail will stay strong, and probably I'll see them again here next time. Meanwhile, you guys should give a listen to this single if you can take easy listening pop melodies, or if you want to watch the Anime. Anyways, show some support, yes?

-Kaineng, on the Klassic Note

*Translation of a grammar phrase with respect to context, and this is the closest I know of.
(Her nickname is "Mocho", by the way. I just... oh well guess I have to know them better.)

THE PACKAGE
Now the package. Man, I wanted to scan the images in the booklet to show you guys, but I take perfection very seriously. So, too bad.

I got this one from Animate again, but then this time I definitely missed it by a lot, even if I reviewed days before the release date. I'm expected (really, huh) to get an Anime sticker stuff along with probably the best free photo gift I can choose from them. So I decided to take a bet. A bet that I still had the chance to get it despite it saying it's going to be out of stock. Yeah, they ran out of it. *sigh*

Besides that, the single is well done, and kudos to them for not just doing a single piece of a booklet and feature all three of them in each page. That one I give a thumbs up. After that, it's like every other single. I've been dazzled so many times I'm becoming numb. But really, it's very well done. I'm just... pissed that I didn't get... Whatever. I should've just played safe.

Cya guys next time then. I'm tired and having plenty of blues because it's a Monday, and I waited for this in the afternoon until I wanted to sleep, but I skipped it for this. Until next time... Sunday, I guess? Yeah, see ya.

The Entertainment News 2015 Edition Week #34

Yeah, it's been a week. I'm starting to feel the strain. Hopefully you aren't. If you do, I cannot do anything for you anyway. Besides offering some laughs from the things I enjoy. Okay, not the YouTube stuff. lol

アニメ
ANIME
Sore ga Seiyuu!: This episode's guest voice actor is quickly introduced as the show gives us more insight to the types of dubbing voice actors do besides Anime. Koyama Rikiya may not be famous to me, but him doing a good job as the boss in Servant x Service really left an impression for me, so I know he's one of them to be featured as himself in this show. Movie dubbing takes care of listening and speaking over it at the same time (poor Futaba has to watch the scary parts umpteen times to get over it), audiobooks makes people serious even if it is not a serious book (and now I know Nagaku Yuki can speak voices other than her Ichigohime image), and game voice acting can be seriously boring (poor Ichigo doing voices for like, a dozen BLEACH games) (Rin-chan... she's fine.) and repetitive. Overall a serious episode that should've been on every episode for this show, but clearly it's not, which is good in its own way. Next episode sees them on stage, which means more new songs? We shall see.
Ranpo Kitan: Hey so this show airs between these two shows, and this latest episode we get a conclusion to a simple Twenty Faces crime, but we know now that Akechi is doing all this to stop this "formula" from fruition. Problem is in the show the idea is loosely explained, and it's already an after-incident, with the original creator already dead. This episode probably also springs a lot of theory to understand the sciences, that math is the fundamental tool to all sciences even if they are impractical, well at least in theory. Nice show. Got boobs, got chicks, little kids are fine, and weird stuff all over the place. This show can watch. Just... not that often, haha.
WORKING!!!: Well we continue with more stories from when Yamada finally decided to reunite with her family, like, just her mother but not her real brother, whilst clinging on to Souma as being her brother. I can see that though, Souma really is better as a brother in some way or another. That too, is also pushing slowly (but surely) Takanashi's feelings against Inami-chan, which is no surprise we will get an ending to them sooner or later. Talking about ending, we may be closer than we thinking, as more dangerous and weird situations are going to surface. I really wonder what ending is ahead of us for this show. Hmm...

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: What a chapter. Mayuri is freaking me out, yet he is also fascinating at the same time, as a fellow researcher in Soul Society. I (I mean in the story) may not have limbs like this or a modified Bankai, but I have many things up my sleeve too, and that's what makes it flexible as a fighter. If one part fails, try another. If your Bankai gets stolen, use Kido because thats its own weakness. *wink* Anyways Mayuri is likely taking this down (because even if that doesn't die it will be reborn, you see), but Nemu is staring at him in a corner. Is she going to do anything? I don't think so. We know she's dead once she betrays the creator.

SHOW
MythBusters: Another fan-based episode again it seems, and without doubt the most number of myths contested this time round ever since they cut down their cast for this. Most of them only require one scene of filming to get it done at least, and tests weren't super definitive (it's more like testing the ideas that they are mostly right, anyway), just very straightforward. Golf may not be the best choice for games they aren't good at and they aren't at in real life, but then we all know not all games or even all games do not have specific instructions to teach the skill in particular. And besides, I can ask the game. That's still a problem in video games till date. Maybe if that ever happens we may see this myth plausible? Haha we can but hope. Funny watching Adam and Jamie play golf though, very like those Germans in Allo Allo, really. Whether I'll do it myself? Nah *laughs*

This Week on Klassic Note
Quite a lot this week on Klassic Note, and we maybe leading a rush of new songs before the next part of the year comes in, which is... not much for now, but hopefully will pick up by next month. Who knows. Anyways, I shall mention again about TrySail's 2nd single which is pretty damn good considering the fact that my first impressions of the topic song isn't that great and actually the whole single is written by the same guy. So... yeah. Probably review tomorrow, or whenever the package comes which does not conflict with my morning lectures. amazarashi's new single review comes in due to my watching of the third show I picked up this season "Ranpo Kitan", and being the opening song this song is great. The B-sides aren't that impressive as one of them is shorter than 2 minutes which is against my rules for giving songs (not that it's great anyway), and the other does not leave much of an impression anyway. miwa's new single may include familiar tunes already, but the topic song... You guys watched it already? Man, the music video though...
Anyways, there's also new songs to expect next week and beyond. Sayuri's debut single which is the ending song from the new show I was catching up doesn't sound too bad. I may give another single featuring a female singer yet again. Yeah, even with a whole shelf of female singers this year, I know. Also, I caught on just the right time on Tomacchan's radio show to hear her new song, and I must say I like it, unlike Mina-chan's new song, so I'll see how it goes until then. It's one month later anyway. SPECIAL OTHERS have confirmed their album release in October, and VELTPUNCH has another (digital, though) single next month too. This year's going to be great. Not fantastic though, but great. (Man, what am I talking...)

Yeah that's it as always. Here is where I do a conclusion and tell you guys to come here again sometime as you please as I continue to somewhat privately share about my life, without any form of comment. Cya.
[P.S.: I know. I'm excited for the pictures too. If you wondered if Tomacchan has stripped...

Bad news is that it's a "no." Good news is it's happening next week probably. Yesh.]

The Entertainment News 2015 Edition Week #33

"My brain's been stagnating. It needs this time of circumstances to get it going." -Kaineng, 2015

I really didn't expect to say this myself. Serious.
(BTW that's adapted from a British sitcom 'Allo! 'Allo!, just to not violate copyright infringements or whatsoever)

Well school has started, so from next week I'm going to get busy. But I suppose it won't stop me watching shows anyway, really. Look at the list below. I think I'm getting hyped for no reason. *wink*

アニメ
ANIME
Sore ga Seiyuu!: (1) F***KING DRAMA! Yeah who would have known, really. Stealing roles. (2) Guest is Kugimiya Rie, and I bet if I show this to my friend he'll start watching this show lol (3) The production are assholes, but as Futaba's senior said this is rather inevitable. Whether it's production being jerks or they changed it or they want to push someone to fame using this show (a very good example I know is Denki-gai no Honya-san, where a "Futaba" is pushed aside and replaced by Ayachi, who also did the opening theme song for the show, her first Anime single cameo) and so on, you'll know that someone must be behind this. And instead of searching for the truth, letting it go is part of the work. Reality is harsh, but this show is some level of drama. (4) The ending theme song (and I don't know why they don't sing in it, also do up a music video) rocks. Compare that to the 2nd single which just want me to give because they are theme songs. Here's the evidence for their first single, released... two months before August. It's already out, the "3D" seiyuu version. I'm a voice actor fan guy.
WORKING!!!: *sob*

...

*sob*

(Audience: SO WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE LIKE YAMADA'S MOTHER???) Haha, I guess so. But then that was hell of an episode. 2x reunion isn't an everyday thing in this show, let alone say probably the two most important ones (romance are counted as reunions too, you know) in this story up till now. We're introduced with Yamada's mother, who apparently is not mute but is so bad with words she rather not say it. (Now I wish I was her, but life would be tough, seriously) Also kudos to the author for linking Yamada's story with Haruna, that wife Otoo keeps missing her by but (for now) has found her once again. Man there's so much to talk about it, but now I'm in tears. If you aren't then buzz off; this show isn't for you, you heartless freak.

Recently I'm bored, so there isn't just this. I went to watch a couple more shows from this season. Yes, this season, even if it's about halfway through already.

Classroom Crisis: Yeah you're not seeing wrong here, but then since I was hooked by the opening theme song last night - with "last" being Saturday - I decided to give this show another chance, ever since I rejected it when I saw the previews. Episode 1 was in view here. Honestly saying, I thought of Glasslip. Not that it feels similar, but it's the worst case scenario, so perhaps... Anyways, this show has plenty of unhappy people, we'll be dealing with privatisation, astronomy and other space physics that I know quite a bit about, so this show will become boring sooner or later. Besides, the drama is minimal, which is a direct inverse of Glasslip, where plenty of drama is not covered by that little action, furthermore it's without explanation. So I guess for this show I'll just listen to the theme song instead. Yeah, Trysail. Not ClariS.
Game of Laplace: Why this? Well, I was flipping through Anime for next season (yes that is so me) and one from next season caught my attention. And guess what? It's a show from the noitamina slot, famous for specially selected adaptations, and honestly saying I totally forgot. And coming back a season (which is now) I came across another noitamina production. This show? If you watched Hyouka or even UN-GO then this show is for you. And I think for me too. Mystery show from adapted mystery novel, weird circumstances, and only the smartest and quirkiest can solve it. Compare Oreki, Yuuki and Akechi with their partners Chitanda, Inga and Kobayashi, both with smart minds and quirky antics towards mystery solving respectively. Perfect combination for watching this show up to this point, and I really wonder why I haven't watched this. Theme songs are very fresh in an aspect (even though they could've been better; I'm starting to miss School Food Punishment already), and I think I'm going for seconds after I finish this. So if you would excuse me I'd like to catch up with this ASAP, haha.

漫画
MANGA
Amari Mawari: Someone is jealous. But then seeing as this is a romance show for minors (really it's very close to child porn), I guess this is rather understandable. But not in a grown-up level, so I guess that's fine. It's a short chapter too. Just comparing Nozo and Amari together. I can take Nozo anytime. lol (I'm not into kids anyway haha)

SHOW(S)
MythBusters: Man I already start to wonder why they keep sending guest stars anyway... But never mind. This episode, they say it's superhumans in shooting, but then the hitman myth is pretty possible for humans anyway. If Adam and Jamie were using real bullets it could've been real. The other myth though... they should try putting their hands in molten lead to see what happens. We may not even see the bullet firing anyway. And yeah what about other kinds of bullets? Guess not. They'll travel slower than a sports car anyway.

This Week on Klassic Note
This week brings quite a few releases that I'm interested in, so I'll talk briefly because I'll talk about them next week too. WORKING!!! new single of theme songs has arrived, and I must say I'm pleased yet not satisfied with how the full songs end up, but seeing that it's the last time I'll get theme songs like that already I'll give them anyway. (Yeah this is the kind of bias I give sometimes) TrySail's 2nd single is to be ignored earlier this month, but then it caught my attention again as I faintly recall the chorus, and now it has come to stay. The whole single. Yes, I've pre-ordered. Hopefully I'll get the gifts. I may have just missed it lol. miwa's new single is also up earlier than expected, and until the music video comes out soon I'll hold my opinion. From the listening of it I must say it sounds not bad. I might just give the whole single a listen.

That's it, folks. As I have an Anime marathon to catch, I'll not bother myself anymore with this post. Good thing it's already half -written by the time I do this now, haha. Cya guys then, and until next week hopefully I'll give more insight to the three shows I'm this season. Bye!
[P.S.: I can't tell you to look away because there's cuteness and sexiness at the same time.
Kana-chan stepped in late this week, so I just took a couple for now. Next week more Tomacchan, and TrySail maybe if it comes next week. I don't know, we shall see...]

"Because I love you, that is why I think of other girls while I look at you."

I maybe wrong, but considering that loving someone comes out of respect, I would think that not looking and thinking of them as a male generically referred as perverts is a form of respect to your other half.

Would I? That still is unknown. *laughs*

If my life was actually my dreams, then my life would have been completely different. And that may or may not be a good thing.

Maybe because then it's good for me and I'll likely be like many successful people. Maybe not because my character would not allow me to be like this anyway. Thought about it when thinking of someone who is Jewish, started in Canada and moved to the US. I should know who she is. *wink*

The Dream Record #12

Because this is the most complete dream I remember yet, I'm going to write this down starting from when I wake up now, which is 6 in the morning. Hope this is all worth it. Let's begin.

(For privacy purposes, information will be tweaked to suit the story and to the best of my memory. Comments will mostly if not all stay in brackets throughout the recall. Also all known people will be abbreviated eg. SL.)

THE TRIP
I was in a car, in Thailand, with a bunch of acquaintances. I wouldn't say I know them well as I joined them with the planner and leader for this trip, someone whom I knew by the name of SL. He drove on an SUV (or at least a large vehicle) to a camp area, nearby across the area are accommodation and entertainment. We stopped and unpacked all our belongings. We moved into the camp and lined ourselves with a bunch of people wearing green. Clearly we are in the wrong place, I fell myself. As someone shouted for everyone to gather, we all rushed in and then noticed that this was wrong. A commander commented that reactions are too slow so we had to move back to all our places to do this again, and specifically mentioned that people who want to leave now may do so. On the next command we all grabbed our stuff and headed for the large open steel gate.

THE INTEGRATION
We all left that weird place and ended up at the motel behind it. There I see an eating place and many other facilities which would then keep us occupied. We all then placed down our bag somewhere (first ambiguity for the sake of storyline) and started to roam around. Some said they intended to have a haircut here while others and me decide to have a meal after a long journey. As I charted with them over the meal, one of them mentioned something that startled me of the truth. The trip is potentially going to last more than a week! Considering the reality that (here's where it's mixed up a bit) today is a Friday and I have lessons on Monday and Tuesday next week, I was shocked to hear they have applied leave from their studies to attend this trip, without informing me whatsoever. I asked carefully about it, assuming this is only going to span over the weekend, but I was wrong. Even the more conservative ones have applied a day's leave for this overseas trip. With more doubt for my mind, we went to near the motel and saw another group of people we know coming out from the motel and asked as whether we had our accommodation and seeing the likelihood of SL planning the trip the chances are there aren't, and we will have to camp outdoors throughout this trip. The guys then happily went in with their towels and toiletries into a clean toilet, waving us goodbye. With this surprise, I decide to inquire SL of this information due to my lack of preparation for the journey. (Even though in reality my lessons in Mondays are just lectures lol) I was even worried about how to get back home myself, and assured myself that it is easy as taking a cab to the airport (I suppose all cab drivers understood that word), buy a ticket to fly me back (I had my credit card with me) and that will be it. This trip would be over. But I was more worried than that, so I could not help but ask. (Also I'm a wimp and my belongings are here)

THE HORROR
I heard that SL was at the haircut group (don't ask me why come all the way to Thailand to do this okay?) and they are inside the motel. I followed the direction I was told, seeing a lot of weird stuff like an empty unoccupied and messy room with connected doors to almost everywhere in this floor. After waling through many doors that are like one after another I finally located the place. It feels like a traditional barbers shop, but everything was brightened (even the corners of the room) and it was mostly in gold. (Yeah I was not lying though) I looked around to see many sitting by the chairs at the back while on the other end of the room sat a few barber chairs and a couple of barbers (should be female in this case) doing their job. I noticed SL was in the middle of a haircut (actually he was having a shave lol) so I waited for it to end. Meanwhile, I had a walk around the many doors that led to this room and that weird room just now. So much unnecessity on this supposedly abandoned room, and there are even traces of human blood and a broken king-sized bed. I felt uncomfortable.

THE CONFRONTATION
After a short while and me frantically walking around in circles looking at adjacent rooms around this barber room, SL finally finished his haircut. I dragged him away to ask him about what I was not informed of, but instead I asked him in a little more aggressive fashion, like "why didn't you tell me this trip was going to last a week?" or something along those lines. He, being sceptical and all, started looking down at me (he was pretty short and shorter than me, even till now) (I think I was kneeling lol) and doubting my purposes for joining this trip, only to know that I wasn't informed and blaming me for not asking otherwise. And before I could ask another question (which is probably about the potentially harsh conditions of this supposedly relaxing trip), another beside me agreed on my stand and also has problems about the length of this supposed weekend trip. After two people after me stood up to confront him like me, he decided (you didn't see this wrong) to pass us to the UN (yes United Nations) to send us back to our home.

THE SEND-OFF
Three of us were handed on to an officer of UN (don't ask me who he is; I have no idea) and he arranged for us to go back considering we aren't grown up and had to leave for specific purposes. (Even though the reason is that we'll miss our lessons lol) As he sat us down on a table bringing along with him a stack of parcels and documents for us to leave, he assured us that the UN will take care of everything. To make this even more tense, he handed us each a parcel (or a large letter that is not square, but had documents instead of goods) to help us scramble information due to the nearby camp and the situation in this country to help us leave. (Yeah Thailand isn't this dangerous, but still) Before doing so, he had to help us think of names to mask our identity in order for us to go back safely and letting the bad guys receive this letter or possibly nothing, even if our addresses are on it.

"We have to think of a name... I'll use the bands in the sixties then. How about 'sixty-seven'?"

(Don't ask me whether it exists, but I know it doesn't) After giving us weird aliases for our departure, he quickly deported us (yeah it sounds that bad) to the nearest vehicle available and we were on our way.

By now I would have already forgotten 60% of the contents, but nonetheless I delivered. References include me asking a lecturer two questions before I left yesterday (and I did, unlike this one), me being in the army before, or maybe I still have some issues with some of my acquaintances. Oh well so be it, and I'll see you guys soon.

P.S.: This is hell of a writing. Someone needs to invent a machine for dream recording soon.

The Windows 10 Review - (At Least) One Week Later

Well, it's going to be two weeks, but still.

I promised a review of the latest OS (operating system) that will strive to change the world altogether (unless you use Mac or Linux, which is not my problem), and I'm here. In a nutshell if you don't want to read the whole damn thing or watch any YouTube videos, the Windows 10 OS released to public in July 29 2015 is not complete. In this point you may not want to do anything first if you haven't gotten the upgrade or buy a new computer, but bear in mind it's going to happen. This software is going to make the future. Okay, enough of propaganda, let's get into the details.

BEFORE REVIEW
Why this? Because I've been waiting for it the moment I heard of it, which probably started from the start of the year. Back then I'm rather sceptical of them (Microsoft, for use in this post) being able to combine the metro apps with the fundamental Windows32 applications, and I was not wrong. They had to call on a big community of "insiders" to help them test and suggest new features which will help shape the future of this system. Many things have happened, and before I managed to watch any YouTube videos or try it out myself here's what I know about the stuff before the release date:
  • There is a Start Menu, after the failure of not doing so in Windows 8.
  • Good old Windows is not forgotten; ie. desktop looks like desktop, and feels like a more modern and classy version of Windows 7. Style of Windows 8, desktop of Windows 7, if you get what I mean.
  • Windows 8 is also not forgotten (which may or may not be a good thing); ie. metro apps are here to stay, there's a new Windows Store to host all new and old apps, and there are many native apps by Microsoft to kick things off in this new ecosystem.
  • The latest of technology is implemented to the new software, from biometric scanning to advanced voice input, which are revealed to be Windows Hello and Cortana respectively.
More recent news before the release revealed the names of the half a dozen (only) native apps that are due for release, abandoning Windows Media Player and Media Center for the new applications for photos, music (Groove), and video (Film & TV). Really, it's a lot lesser than I thought it would. Look at Windows 8.

You can say I'm excited, but at the same time I was worried. I worry that it may not end up as easy as it sounds, like, the amalgamation of both application ecosystems seems to be unlikely seeing Windows 8 stumble into a spiral of failure. Well at least instead of separation there is a level of combination, and that is a good start.

THE GOOD
Now that I've touched on it, let's talk about it. About what is good and exceeded my expectations.
  • It totally feels like Windows again. And not the awkwardness of a new operating system that I experienced when I first got my hands on Windows 8 years ago. Or a year ago if you talk about me getting my Surface Pro 3. (hehe)
  • The Start Menu looks correct, meaning if you liked a list of recent apps and shortcuts to personal folders and "My Computer" they are there, especially when it was an option to do so.
  • Settings looks more concise now, though not much of say simplicity. Initial setup is much more straightforward without much difficulty as with previous systems.
  • Search is back to the level of useful, and is embedded to the taskbar instead of the Start Menu. Convenience brought up to a whole new level. This range is from all documents within your super big hard disk to whatever you don't understand in the settings menu.
  • Virtual desktop and windows built-in into the operating system. Which means you can create a desktop for work and for play, splitting windows and apps to more distinct sections than the stacked windows in Windows 7 and left hidden sidebar in Windows 8.
  • The various media native metro apps resemble Picasa in Photos, your music player app or Windows 8 music app in Groove, and a little better than Windows Media Player in Film & TV. A new internet browser Edge is also introduced to combat itself against Chrome and Firefox.

THE NOT SO GOOD
Now my favourite part. Criticisms. And they need a lot. Because they can always do better, or so I think.
  • Performance and transitions is an issue. It feels buggy, because things don't naturally work well. Thinking back to Windows 8 where everything flows smoothly despite weird gestures, Windows 10 is less weird gestures but lack in consistency in transition. For example I use picture passwords and the lock screen on the tablet PC, and on average it's about a couple of seconds longer to get in to desktop every time in Windows 10. The picture has to load sometimes and and lock screen suffers from some stuttering. And that is only starting up every time I want to use the computer, whether if it's turned off or left on standby.
  • The native apps? I was lying about it being good. I was being kind already. Photos is rather feature-less at this point (if you use Picasa like me you'll know), Groove does nothing but play music only (that is if you don't have a music subscription and don't import iTunes music), and the video player? Let's say it can't even play any of the Matroska Anime I has in my hard disk. And they did mention they support it with subtitles. I know about the encoder support thing, but this is pretty ridiculous compared to VLC or MPC-HC. Seriously.
  • Native apps complaints part2: Mail app is terrible, and it cannot even sync my Outlook account. Yeah. Xbox has its own app now, which I did not test, but suffice it to say you launch your games from it every time then Steam maybe a better option.
  • Microsoft Edge: it's locked. Meaning it does not support add-ons or extensions (no Adblock, people), nor does it support certain plug-ins. All I could do with the browser besides view text websites is YouTube. So only flash works on it. Posting in Blogger on the days before I got my computer assembled last week was impossible, and I had to rely on Internet Explorer (backed up) to post without having to type HTML code.
  • Windows Store is as bad as usual, and it does not support the removal of apps you installed and didn't like, and also many apps are not supporting the new system yet, especially it gets more weird when you use them in desktop mode because of the three menu buttons at the top right.
  • Action Center becomes your notifications panel instead of warning you of various problems with your system. Back then in Windows 7 and 8 it is used to inform you of Windows Update settings (which you don't have to worry anymore, more later) and lack of an antivirus software, in which Windows Defender steps in as a last minute resort. Problem in Windows 10 is now even social media and probably only metro apps can have access to these notifications, and they will spam that big screen to your right, which is empty for me because (1) I don't use metro apps to notify me of anything like how I do with my phone, and (2) without that the computer will serve as a quiet buddy just how I liked it in Windows 7. So now you know. It's practically useless in my opinion.
  • The amalgamation of apps and Windows32 applications is still not a success, yet. Not a success because Settings still appear as Control Panel if you cannot find what you want, for example power settings. Yet as hopefully they will really ditch the Windows32 application somewhere in the future so it does not have this level of complication. I have a feeling it's not happening, though.
  • To celebrate Windows 8's return, there is a Tablet Mode, which if you're using a desktop PC this is useless to you. See, waste of space again. Everything looks bigger as I ramp the text in desktop mode 150%, which means there isn't anything useful to it. The Start Menu becomes full screen (shout out to Windows 8 again), and all apps run independently without the use of the top three buttons. Independently because Microsoft Edge won't run in the background when I open up another app like Facebook. Stupid, huh. I resorted to using desktop mode for now. To make things even worse, the taskbar is still there. In like, a Windows 8 mode in Windows 10.
  • Localisation for this new OS is an issue. If you don't live in the USA, or if you do not set the region to that country of origin, you'll have no access to Cortana. And that is provided if you speak American English. Windows Hello is only available to new computers with Intel RealSense Technology which have front-facing camera that recognise human faces. So yeah, I stare to my Surface Pro 3 and it immediately shook its head.
  • Windows Update is mandatory, unless you're one of those Enterprise or Business people. This also means it's auto by default, and manual update only means deference, in which case it can potentially be a ghost to come back and haunt you every time you start up, especially with Action Center sooooooooooo within reach. Certain reviews out there also state that if Microsoft released a security breach in an update there is nothing all of us can do about it until it's too late. But seeing their track record is pretty good I guess I'm not worrying too much about it. But still, this is an issue in the future.
  • It's confusing. It's weird. The last time I felt like this was Windows 8, and Window 10 hasn't changed much to do so. If you don't think the points above make of an unusually awkward user experience, you're not alone. And this isn't the only stuff we see have problems and issues with them. Luckily there's a Windows Feedback app which... is a good place to rant all your problems without posting them all over the internet. Am I right?

THE VERDICT, AFTER ONE WEEK
I agree with some reviews on YouTube, so I'll use their perspective and add on to my opinion. Below are ranked from latest OS in opinions of your current OS to decide on whether to get Windows 10.
  • If you use Windows 8 and hate it, please upgrade it. It'll be better off living in that hell of an OS. Windows32 application integration is as successful as you know from Windows 7, and Windows 8 features are not a necessity anymore. Especially that list of apps you have to install every time you reset your OS. Believe me; I've tried many apps and reset my OS a couple of times.
  • If you use Windows 8 an are comfortable with it, please don't upgrade it. Windows 8 is stable as an OS especially when you're in Windows 8.1, and many things are not stable in the new OS yet. So wait for the right moment to upgrade and don't hurry; The offer hasn't ended yet. Not yet, anyway.
  • If you use Windows 7 and dislike it because it comes out from Windows Vista, by all means upgrade to it. Windows 10 feels more fresh and you'll like the new features from when you don't like Windows 8 too. It works well with Windows32 applications, which means if your friends are Chrome and Steam, then Windows 10 won't affect you too much for now. And it'll only get better with Xbox app anyway if you own a console that is the Xbox One.
  • If you use Windows 7 and are very comfortable with it, do not read this post. Like, just leave. Stick with it for life. You still got updates and technical vulnerabilities support up until 2020. This OS is not an option yet. My desktop PC is staying at Windows 7 even though I bought the CPU days after Windows 10 is launched purely because I feel comfortable with it. And not the amalgamation of a I-don't-know-what of an OS that I can never get used to.
And if you're getting a new computer which comes with Windows 10 now, just accept it. But if you ever get a chance to still get Windows 8, then it's up to you to experience that first before upgrading. And then read the first two points if you want to decide whether to upgrade it.

This is not the best review out there anyway (I never do, I'm rather distracted anyway), but this is quite a lot to digest given that the new OS is not yet complete. In fact, it'll never be complete. Microsoft has pledged to continue updating this software to make it better, possibly making it similar to Mac OS, where updates are released in versions than just introduce new OS every few years. And this is not entirely a bad thing. Nonetheless, Windows 10 will be here to stay, and I say we welcome it. But just a little later, after we see many things get fixed (they had a big fix 24 hours after it's released) and the system gets stable and this thing grows into us to the point that we have no choice but to transition to this software. For now, I'm still observing, and I'll put it through its paces next week where school starts and I'll be using plenty of productivity stuff to do things, hopefully not impeding on my study. Cya guys again, I hope. I don't know what to say about this OS already.

The Entertainment News 2015 Edition Week #32

It's not my birthday today, but it is for my hometown. Yeah, now you should know where I come from.

Oh heck, let's end this week already. School's approaching soon.

アニメ
ANIME
Sore ga Seiyuu!: I'm impressed. By the fact that despite this being a 4-koma manga, it received this much attention and focus. This episode we finally have Hocchan as a special guest, as Ichigo joins a live event for an announcement for a game. Pre-release events have a long way to talk about, but since it's her first time it's as if going for a live performance. And yeah, they really made Hocchan look so bad. Hopefully they asked for her permission. And I guess they failed on getting Tamura Yukari's one, haha. Anyways, nice episode again, and seeing the three girls grow will probably be an awesome thing to watch. I guess the last time I watch such things is like... K-ON? Moving on, they have a CD debut ahead of them, which we know in the industry as a demo. And I think we all know what that song is. And I liked it. So that's going to be an episode to watch next week. Yes!
WORKING!!!: If I reserve a "FINALLY" for every episode I watch this final season, you're not wrong. As we ponder upon how Popura looks when she is sick and acting cute (lol), we also see progress on the discovery of Yamada-kun to Aoi-chan. Yes the word is out again, but suffice it to say things really didn't turn out as funny as it should have been, which is the whole point. Souma took charge in letting Aoi-chan have time to consider the situation, and in the meantime... I saw the next episode preview. Cohabitation may be an option for Aoi-chan. Which is going to be interesting. If you can say I've not been so interested in her affairs until now. This show... is going better than I expected.

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: As a perspective of an inventor, this fight is starting to get interesting. What is not is that (spoiler) Mayuri might just be in trouble. Oh well. The facts that he knows Hirenkyaku and has a suit made of repulsive explosive armour is already making him as weird as he is already. Glad he's prepared so he can be so smug about it. I'm standing on his side... for now.

SHOWS
MythBusters: Another episode on driving, but two myths that should've been tested within their ten years of busting myths. Anyways, simple yet great episode on proving that we can drive in reverse and we shouldn't drive with any form of distractions. Really, kids and GPS instructions are fine for this one.

This Week on Klassic Note
Not much again this week. My visit to Audioleaf and Skream didn't bear any fruit, but then there's a couple of songs I probably will give after a few weeks of listening so I might as well give them now. Earphone's 2nd single is not great probably due to the fact that it's tied to Anime unlike its first single, and I think I can give a song to Yoru no Honki Dance, though not one of their new or old songs, but from the same single that got my dancing.

I rejected a couple of singles this week too, like Aqua Timez latest single because it wasn't impressive on first listen and there's the 10th year best albums next month so I'll decide by then, Also fhana's new single because it's another Anime song. I missed last year; they were great back then.

Overall a pretty unfruitful week in Klassic Note, but pretty well for the others. I'm enjoying Anime, and MythBusters just gets better to watch. Hopefully with a week of study I'll get my tastes and interests together, and then we'll be able to get the momentum going. Not very impressive compared to the same time last year though, new songs. Cya guys then, and until next time... I'll post a Windows 10 review. I'm bored, I'm tired to do it, but I'll do so. I promised it.

Even though I know I'll regret my opinions in a week. See you till then.

[P.S.: MOAR!
With school starting, I'll kick off the series of images even I feel embarrassed to look at. But then hey, I also want to put some selfies Mikakoshi has been posting on her Twitter account...]

The Entertainment News 2015 Edition Week #31

Well hello guys. Since I'm pretty busy restarting the computer and spending hours moving stuff to format my hard drives on this new system (Yeah!), let's get this done very quickly, yes?

By the way, the Windows 10 review I promised? I'll reach a week and then do a post. Four days in already and... I think I can come to a conclusion already.

アニメ
ANIME
Sore ga Seiyuu!: Entertaining to say the least, the three girls finally get their chance to be in a unit, for which is only made possible due to more enthusiasm on creating that package within Anime in the recent few years. (Like, as if you guys heard of Alice5 anyway) (Or if you did you must be old enough to be my parent) (okay maybe not) That executive producer seems to be very enthusiastic about this (very comedic and dramatic too), and came out with their general plan of action, rising from their web radio on the Anime they just ended. This might be a good chance for them to take on a full-time career, as part-time jobs will probably be a part of their past once they get real famous. As with a reality check, I guess not everyone's circumstances are the same, and yeah for example at MusicRay'n (you know, sphere, TrySail) I bet they won't know that their audition will lead to them having to be friends together for life as they form a unit and sing songs for Anime and everything else that follows. Despite that, it will be easy to grow to love everything, from the name to the rapport to being accepted and loved by many, which is why voice acting is getting popular as a job, especially for females I guess. This also explains how the real Earphones group got formed: Because of an Anime, the one that is on now. Next week the girls are attending an event (OMG I swear I got a deja vu over here, in my dream; I paused right here not knowing how to continue) from an Anime (probably the one that just ended), and two of them pose more major characters than one that blew up three episodes in, so we shall get to see their popularity check, and hopefully it's as popular as what that guy mentioned about their web radio. This only continues to get more interesting. (BTW being in a unit is not about short dresses, Rin-chan. Even though that is one way for appeal. You see the audience, man.)
WORKING!!!: Yeah if you only remembered that Izumi's higher-up is a woman, you're not alone. lol Anyways, the focus this time is about Takanashi's depression from last week, and Inami is here to cheer him up. Of course not, but through a weird round of coincidences which I should bore Izumi about (she's tired already lol), they get to meet. Ironing things out apparently is not the answer for now (I think the saving is for the end I hope), but then they came to find out a little more about each other, and I guess that's particularly important. Next week looks interesting, but really I think too much Yamada might just drive me crazy. I mean, if I'm Souma I'll just quit my job to avoid her already.

漫画
MANGA
Amari Mawari: As if liking someone infinite number of times isn't enough... of course we're dealing with Amari, who likes that guy Haru as much as she likes Kyouka, her supposed guardian. I mean, this kind of thing? You probably should just ask a middle-schooler about her opinion, because seriously, love is very personal in my opinion.
BLEACH: This latest chapter could possibly be a mindf**k to many, but not to me. I'm a thinker, just like how I picture myself to the likes of Mayuri and Urahara-sensei, if you guys could recall. The Soul King's left hand could not have been landed on a mere Sternritter as we all remember who swallowed the King itself. On the other hand, Mayuri is not wrong either, which also means Kubo is not an idiot. (So stop being idiots the audience of the Internet lol) Likely in some way or another, as I've checked from previous chapters (or the wiki), is that the Quincy obtained the powers shortly after the King was devoured, and that could just be the cause of the power still manifested in its own ability of compression, because the Soul King definitely can crush people better than that Sternritter, yes? Things like the name probably wouldn't matter for now (which is why I didn't mention it at all, but you know who I'm talking about), because Mayuri managed to make it talk. If the next chapter is about salvation, then hearing Mayuri's viewpoint would nonetheless be more interesting than Kenpachi fighting. lol

SHOWS
MythBusters: This episode is on accidents, and many accidents have made into this show. Things like a falling pane of glass and lawn mowers without the safety cap are pretty natural here too, and the guys are here to test it. Surprisingly deadly though, that rock, and yeah if China has building glass that is not tempered then expect more accidents over their side.

This Week on Klassic Note
This week nothing much, because most of the week I'm still stuck without a computer. I definitely said goodbye to some of the reviews from 2 weeks ago, and I'm not picking anything much this week. Earphone's 2nd single is unlike their first, which also means I probably will not give a song anytime soon. But considering every Anime I watch I at least gave one song coming against the fact that I don't want Klassic Note to receive any more 3-star songs in the collection... Man I've been stuck with this for quite a while already, yes? I'll think about it. Probably I'll conclude next week.

Also next week I may spend some time (besides catching up on online games, seriously) to go visit some skream and Audioleaf again so I can catch some new songs from artists I still don't know.

Cya guys then, this one is pretty short if you exclude my long-as-usual comments for everything I watch. Until next time... I hope I'll be done with this com and move on to deliver more stuff before school starts again in like, 2 weeks time? Yeah. Bye.

[P.S.: If her discovering herself is as so...*nosebleed*
And this isn't the most skin Tomacchan has shown in the photobook. She... really can go to lengths.Thankfully I don't feel aroused to her because I ***** **** or else-]
[P.P.S.: Above text partially censored for family ratings, lol. Besides, I'm above 21, ok? I do anything I like.]
