Art is a form of expression as it is also a form of education.

Have you seen those movies lately? They signal to me not jokes relevant to those who have became adult and appreciate those antics they did in the past, but more for the kids who are being overprotected by their parents today. Then again I don't have kids so I'm not that worried. But then if I'm deterred by it I don't see why many others won't. Controversy is that of Western movies, in case you aren't aware.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #13

Hey, I'm back! Man, halfway through internship liao. Really feeling lethargic already, not to mention my uncle just came over and I have to share the room with my sis who doesn't sleep *sigh* I'm going to crash tomorrow morning haha

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Honestly saying, I've been watching truths for quite a lot of episodes now, and the recent ones only tell me that it's not just protecting ACCA that is going to drive this nation. And I wasn't wrong. Really, not that tough to see through the Lilium family by now.
This new episode (#ACCA11) talks about Furawau, the last district Jean is ordered to visit. Little do we not notice that every district has been handing to him a unique cigarette (yeah maybe it's just me) to symbolise acknowledgement of the coup, but that's not all. I can now not be able to remove from my brain the fact that Jean is likely going to be controlled by Grossular who in turn will be controlled by the Lilium family. I mean, it sounds like good intention without the feel of changing autocracy, but hey, I may be wrong. If you need a perspective on how the next episode will be a cliffhanger, then let me tell you this - I'd rather believe that the nation is smart just like the Lilium family and Jean is smarter than them so to know when not to be controlled (ie. ACCA against Lilium, the royal family and Privy Council maybe) than believe that the nation is dumb for following along like Jean and the Lilium family is the smart one for being able to control everything. As anything in life, you can't have control of everything. Then again, I say this with the assumption of lack of knowledge, meaning I don't know any of what power they might have physically (I mean, I can count heads, but I don't know about tanks lol) and what underdog events might still happen. Hey, no one said Nino and the King are at this point down.
Trivia time! Read the headlines in Japanese.
(Hint is in the subtitles if you need them xD)
Man that a-hole's unhappy face...
P.S. MVP for this episode goes to... Eider! Hey, she knew how to let go. "But I have no intention to be queen" was probably what got her laid haha

アニメ Demi-chan wa Kataritai
This was an easy ending, if you get what I mean.
The last episode (#DemiChan12) talks about light-hearted stuff, apparently. I mean, if you reserve the school's pool for the ladies (and Takahashi-sensei himself personally haha) on a Saturday it's either you're too kind or you don't think this is a harem at all. That's what I think though, but hey, it doesn't hurt to think. Talking about thoughts, there's a lot more going on between them. Machi-san thinking about folklore and being underwater (lol why didn't she do it until now? then again I thought it wasn't waterproof?), Yuuki-san giggling to puns lol, Satou-sensei really showing off her "nice body" and Hikari-chan talking about being a demi. No really, vampires is just a topic here. Watching through this show brings out a lot of understanding, I must say. Even classmates who aren't with them now even came into the pool on the weekend. That, is some cohesion right there. And that part of the show I will miss. Then again, there's the jokes, the thoughts, the sad scenes, and the ripped bodies (lol) and all, so that's that.
Yeah, because this show doesn't show panties lol #notairantou
Boy am I glad this is as such haha
P.S. Second season please! Even though this would be quite enough haha

アニメ Spring 2017 Anime Preview
Also, ending this season's Anime next week with ACCA, and starting with the new season, I summarise my reading of the Random Curiosity post along with recent Twitter promotions (no really, the voice actresses are doing it) and upcoming music credits on Anime for Spring 2017:
- Titan S2 (because I feel obliged to watch even after Eren’s mom got killed)
- Alice to Rozoku (if it’s not Usagi Drop extreme and the trailer’s playing the ending song I’m in)
- Tsuki ga Kirei (I like the final year vibe here along with very unsettled romantic feelings)
- Eromanga Sensei (totally in already because of theme songs and Oreimo author)

漫画 A Channel
The new chapter (93) talks about Nagi-chan and her forbidden relationship with Tooru Fizzy the cat, and yeah, it brings out so many emotions of her, and I like. Like Tooru mentioned, she should get her own pet. Even if it means taking care of it or buying it a lot of presents or playing with it until she gets tired lol man taking care of pets is tough haha
A tiny image for some tiny love xD

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Well... not much this week though. Also for next week. That doesn't sound like good news considering I'm just busy all weekday, but hey I still got Apple Music haha. On other news, I think I'm prepared for next month, and I'll elaborate on that next week then. Meanwhile, I may just go on a nostalgia trip in preparation for KN10YEARS (currently my plans for Klassic Note 10th anniversary) and yeah, I'm digging up the blog drafts to do up weekly posts like this too until the end of the year. Probably starting from the middle of the month if I got enough to talk about. I'll try; it's been ten years.

On the other hand, I concluded YUKI's new album with an emotional song that sounds like it's written by Ikimonogakari lol and LuckLife's major debut first album is a disappointment as a rock album because it's even more generic than UNLIMITS, which is actually not boring.

This is it then. I'm tired and I have a mountain of stuff I have not been doing because I'm drilling on mobile games and I have a ton of content to catch up on excluding new songs to put on Klassic Note

The Klassic Note Apple Music Japan Review (2017)

Hi and welcome. If you find the title of this post familiar, do not be surprised. Sometime last year in December, I started on the journey of finding a way to sustainably get previews on Japanese music for the sake of Klassic Note and not rely too much on the Internet and also to speed up orders on my side too. It has been four months - three months free trial and one month add on with my own money - since I've been in it, and if you need a statement to how it has been before you leave this long post: I have been a lot better off with it up till now. Even now as I'm listening to other releases from 96neko I can guarantee you it's worth the 980yen a month, especially if you listen as much as I do.

(Sorry for the lack of pop-up images; I'll do it up when I have the mood to haha)

THE STATISTICS
Firstly, let's talk about stats. I may not be able to represent everything here due to many reasons which I have mentioned before in the previous time I did this, but suffice it to say it was been well-received. I have been able to listen to a lot of artists over the past few months way ahead of when I can hear it without this service. The following is the amount of releases that I have been able to listen (regardless of time, in preview order) over the past few months in Apple Music:

Unreviewed: 2016
(ie. if not for Apple Music I'll never be able to review them)

Chatmonchy - majority blues/Kienai Hoshi
ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE - ALT MED
HOME MADE Kazoku - LAST FOREVER BEST (convenience of compilation online)
Aqua Timez - Asunarou
Miyawaki Shion - SHARE THE HAPPY

2017
LILI LIMIT - a.k.a

Sayuri - Heikousen
KANA-BOON - Fighter
Sangatsu no Phantasia - Fairy Tale
96neko - Uso no Hanabi

This is of course, void of any artists or releases which I have rejected and it's not on the list, but then again in summary of the above (I don't know if it is or not lol) the following artists I know you'll be able to listen on release date in Apple Music Japan if you subscribed to it (because I didn't give all of them):
[I only talk about active artists, so HOME MADE Kazoku and others will be excluded]

Cocoro Auction (major label)
Aqua Timez
Tsuzuri Zukuri
cinema staff
Chatmonchy
ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE
LILI LIMIT
Goose house
ClariS
negoto
Coalamode.
7!!
SCANDAL
amazarashi
Sayuri
KANA-BOON
Sangatsu no Phantasia
96neko
Tokyo Karan Koron (even with label change)
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
Tomatsu Haruka
Toyosaki Aki
Kotobuki Minako
Kalafina
SPECIAL OTHERS
VELTPUNCH (earlier releases may be missing)
ORESKABAND
NICO Touches The Walls (as long as you don't go too far back)
SPYAIR
moumoon
Sambomaster
Earphones
Miyawaki Shion
Amamiya Sora

If you're a fan of any of these and can't wait for their upcoming new songs, Apple Music will not disappoint because it's LITERALLY the first line of streaming media you'll get to listen from in Japan. LINE MUSIC doesn't even come close.

Also, if you understand company lingo, then I can say Sony Music Japan is pretty restrictive to its artists on streaming music, so labels like Aniplex are out. Lantis is another which its artists are not on the list, along with King Records' Anime subsidiaries for most of them. Otherwise, you shouldn't have a problem. Problem is that's most of the artists I know of, so that's a problem. But as I said, they're opening up, and I can wait.

More stats include 581 releases found (includes not 2017 and 2016) which averages to (I can confidently say if I take one song from each release) about a third of all the songs I've heard since Klassic Note started. That's pretty respectable considering Apple Music can't get everyone on the ship just yet. No, I know of iTunes. Apple Music is different.

THE EXPERIENCE
As you can see from the above, February was the first and probably only peak season I've experienced this far, so I shall elaborate more about it. Because the feeling of being able to listen to new songs on the train early in the morning when you go to work (provided you got enough data for it) is just great, and that I can never pass it off compared to me having to go home or use my laptop to be able to surf the Net, hoping it'll be out by the time half a day has passed in school and me downloading that to listen after the hype is gone. Or worse, back then I have to deal with a school day before I can go home and listen to new songs on the charts. But then again that was back then so yeah, ignore that. When it comes to delivering when it can, it will. That's my point.

Of course, not all services today which stream music can walk away without any flaws. Things that may matter include delaying of payment processing (I got stuck on that for a day or two and March 1st was a Wednesday) due to transition from free to paid subscription, the poor performance of the Android app which still looks like crap till this date (the only thing that works is the playback; otherwise most of the time even in good network connections you'll be staring at the white screen lol) (my draft wrote: Did it just stop with one WhatsApp notification tone? No, it literally paused the song, and didn't want to resume lol), the desktop which made me reinstall twice and is still unresponsive sometimes (or maybe I just have a fast hand on the mouse) and many others which I can get over them so I won't mention here because I believe you can too.

FINAL WORDS
All in all, as long as I can listen to new songs that promptly, I'm not complaining. And for now, there is enough database of artists which I can confidently say there will be an advantage for me to pay for this every month, so I shall continue doing it. Hopefully in the future there will be more songs that appear in the platform (someone's secretly adding Mocho's new single and TrySail's 3rd single in) slowly but surely, but otherwise it's not my permanent music library anyways (I know those who rely on Spotify are slaves to their music services already lol) but it's good enough a reference and an advantage for me to tune back in every once in a while for new songs. Also, good resource for finding those earlier releases. For example, I just listened to 96neko and when she started as an artist (I didn't say it was good lol) so easily without having to go on a research journey like back then. It certainly is a lot easier now compared to last time.
And a final (full) screenshot to show you what I've done.
Note the playlists of artists I created on the left haha

And this is it then. Just a quick review of Apple Music after enjoying it for four months. There'll be many more months of this for sure, especially considering that Klassic Note 10YEARS is just around the corner (you bet I'm preparing for it xD) (#KN10YEARS lol) and I'll have this to brag out on achievements haha. Nonetheless, we see the music industry opening up. Even the newest single by 96neko (Sony Music artist) is also now available internationally (I'm not joking) and soon this region restriction may be long behind us. I wish for that to happen for the many years to come, and hopefully by then I won't have to buy gift cards just to supplement this interest of mine.

-Kaineng, on the Klassic Note

[P.S. As of 8th April, 956 songs have been added thanks to Ikimonogakari's entry into Apple Music, and now I can confidently say this service has covered HALF of the songs of Klassic Note. So promising, I can see the future of everyone getting in.]

Friday 24 March 2017

I want to be able to forget. To forget that I was of importance to someone in their lives.

I know what you're thinking, but it's not with obligation, this one. I'm talking about relationships, from friends to family (well I guess they're exceptions) and everything in between. Maybe it's because I remember too much of me and wasn't socialising enough, I seem to know a lot of myself and not a lot of others, and thus makes me remember everything of others and vice versa, because it was so little compared to me and myself.

The Klassic Note Review 2017.03 Issue 3

What did I tell you guys. Huh? Another review? Did I hear that? You ask for it, you get it, I must say haha (RIP my wallet) but hey, it's been a long wait. Well, mostly because I've heard the songs two weeks before this and this should've been earlier, but still. It's here, so let's talk about it.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
96neko - Uso no Hibana [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition Limited Anime Edition
(I like how minimal the cover art is in general. As usual, ignore the Anime cover, please.)

Origin: Yes, let's talk about her. Surprisingly, she has some background. An easy web search will tell you she's been a singer for quite some time, and despite her boyish appearance turns out to be popular due to her very powerful feminine voice, which is of course, the focus of this release. Other than that, you get her first major single since last year if I'm not wrong (Sony Music probably also chose her for her voice too), and I must say it's pretty impressive. Coupled with an Anime which is more compelling than this release, you get yourselves a great single to listen to. No really, you try watching her earlier songs and covers; you'd hardly hear anything like this.

(1) Uso no Hibana [Spark of (a) Lie]
Already reading this title wrong countless before its release (thanks Hanabi-chan), this is of course the Anime "Kuzu no Honkai" opening theme song. Saying why the theme songs of the show are better than the show itself must be an understatement, because the releases are on my shelf. Nonetheless, the opening showed a certain level of power covering what's behind the lyrics. The song about emotion and sorrow, all mixed together in a fast-paced melody (I know that composer; remember TrySail?) which makes this song your above average Anime theme song. Seriously, this song packs a punch above that very feminine, soft and alluring voice that is Kuroneko-san (I shall refer her as this now, and that's how the artist name is read) and I'm impressed. Besides suffering from the usual Anime kinks here and there, I must say this is one good tune.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Hitorigoto [Talking to Oneself]
"Do not let go of my gripped hand, I'm here
Don't forget our promise"
Just in the lyrics expresses quite a lot about what this song has to deliver. A rather mellow mood to tone things down, and here's where Kuroneko-san's voice starts to show. The mood of the song in general does transit quickly between the verses and chorus but hey, it stays freshly different. The vocals here then give credit to this song being that good, and is also a hand on hearing the other side of her singing, instead of the hyped beat we got earlier. The once-in-a-while soft voice and the general melody of this song is making this a good song to remember. Oh, and don't forget her singing at the part before the solo guitar right after the second chorus. So, so good.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(3) Buriki no Dance [Tin Plate Dance]
This one, I did some research. Turns out this is a song originally done by Hatsune Miku (if you don't know her I don't too haha) and the music video is actually online. Top this one up with Kuroneko-san's version also online by the time you're reading this, and you get a very different rendition of the song. I must say the latter stands out more because of, in this case, her more manly voice that gives this song the power and style it needs. That, computerised voice cannot do lol. Other than that, it's quite a mouthful to sing this (don't even look at the lyrics, please), but it's real catchy, and if not for Kuroneko-san wanting to get (as in "buy" because it's copyrighted) this song for her new release I would not have known of such a great cover song done by her. Suck it, Hatsune Miku.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: As you can see, not your usual release. Ever since its digital release a week before the physical release (in CD) I've been impressed the first time I heard the whole release, and this eventually became a reality, with me getting hooked to every song in the list. Even if you're not a fan of the Anime or Hatsune Miku (lol) you should give this lady a listen. Her voice will impress you, and coupled with a ton of good songs you've got yourself a well-deserved release.

THE PACKAGE
Okay, let's talk about this quickly. Because... there isn't much to talk about. I mean, there's the clear folder of Hanabi-chan getting grabbed if that's what you want.
Haha that's all you get; I'm doing this PG (dammit)
And also, ignore the guy behind her lol
Initially in the process of getting the release I thought to settle with a postcard which technically does not have her (okay it's a drawing of her?) so I'd be glad if Animate Online Shop will give me a chance to get the folder instead... and they did. Thanks to the many people who though this release wasn't good (I beg to differ look at this post) so that I can still order this on release day (which is a rarity in Animate btw) so I won't end up with a postcard drawing lol. Other than that, you'd be relieved that the more money you pay the lesser of the artist you get to see haha (refer to Sayuri, Yuuki Aira and then this)
Also, I'm not joining the gift campaign because I'll be paying a lot more than a 52yen stamp lol
(FYI it's until the end of the month)
I'd like to fill up the feedback portion of the card though.

This is it then. I have to finish this quick because it's a weekday and I have a job *sob* Cya guys next time, and guess who is going to be reviewed next? Hey, I have no idea yet but we'll see. This month is such a strong start to this year's reviews, I don't want to stop.

P.S. You guys want an image of Kuroneko-san in 2D? Meh, go Google it yourself haha. Also, ACCA promotion card in package!! Lol I'm such a fanboy.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #12

Oh I forgot the introduction again haha. That's what happens when you start doing this post immediately after reading a new chapter of manga lol.

I know. I need to stop interchanging between "haha" and "lol". I'll try; no promises though haha

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
I can feel it. The evilness within will arise next episode. Trust me. And I've never read the manga yet haha
This new episode (#ACCA10) talks about the regular stuff about the districts, about addressing Jean as royalty about now (I mean, really?), and about everything behind the coup and probably if Mauve would not interfere with the decisions of the higher-ups. Then again, there's the King. This turns out to be a game changer, because it matters a lot. The absence of the monarch will spell potential rumours and trouble, not forgetting the Prince wanting to be king, and there's Jean and his sister. To top that, recent episodes have given enough time for Jean to think through whether to follow through with this change for the nation or not. Lastly, the episode tops it up with the last district of his visit, Furawau which also houses the richest people and of course, Lilium's family. Yes, if you can recall, Lilium's the guy who pulled on the leader of ACCA Grossular's hair last episode. Yeah, this is going to happen. I can feel it. On the other hand, I can't help but think how the Anime will conclude this show. It may end up focusing a lot more on the process of the coup then show us what the future might be like, I think. Well, guess I'll just have to watch on to find out.
MVP of this episode haha. Did I talk about how attractive neat she looks under the hot weather?
P.S. Looks like the relative of royalty is going to take action of removing the siblings. But hey, can't hurt to take a little bit of the action. I worry for Lotta-chan's safety. *sob*

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Eh? Last episode liao? Oh well, because it's going to happen again! Yay for season two same time this year!
The last episode (#3Lion22) talks about settlement for Kiriyama mainly, about his moving up to second year in high school and still dislocating with the class, but hey, there's the teacher. He decides to help him get shougi interest in the school, and so with the help of a falling Science Club he finally has somewhere to talk about his interests in school. The second half is obviously for wrapping up the season so far, but hey, it's still a good story to tell for many of us who don't really know well about Kiriyama's alone-salty-sad-and-I-don't-want-to-be-a-piece-of-sh*t-to-list-more-loner-stuff life haha. All in all, I feel a lot of emotions from this story, but mainly because he is better off than me as a person. I mean, he has SO MANY PEOPLE around him that will help him. I can't even get along with my colleagues because I'm a loner lol. Well, that's all for it then, but until next time... will we really get to see him play against Souya? We can but hope. This episode is setting a good stage to what will be upcoming in this series, and I'll be looking forward to it for sure.
Must really suck for kids to be honest. Glad I wasn't the only victim.
Then again, Kiriyama is field smart somehow. I'll be joining someone after seeing all the ants already haha

アニメ Demi-chan wa Kataritai
No, no bloodbath. Just "tearbath" for me, I assume haha
This new episode (#DemiChan11) talks about the confrontation from the vice principal whom we are hinted before to talk about Takahashi-sensei and his gang of demi-chans haha. (Hey I'm keeping this light-hearted okay?) So yeah, obviously the teacher took it to the extreme in thinking of giving too much thought into it resulting in him not continuing interaction with his students, but yeah that's just wrong and so stereotypical in drama, really. On the other hand, we have the other classmates providing a perspective of them not interacting with the demis in the first place. (And we're not even talking about the other teachers *wink*) Hey, not discrimination, and maybe because of that which is why only the girls would approach someone like Takahashi. That aside, Hikari-chan thought of showing their teacher what it means to be depending on him all this time and without him I swear the acceptance journey would be harder. Takahashi probably got off easy as a researcher and more importantly, as a high school teacher, but hey, that's life isn't it? If it pays off there's nothing wrong to stop doing it. Even if it means helping a bunch of females making it look totally like a harem haha
P.S. Next episode must be exciting, right? Hehe no we won't see Satou-sensei in any attire showing off any more skin, I swear.
Best girl Hikari-chan will ALWAYS be best girl. Half the "tearbath" came form her *sob*
Really makes you wonder if such people "people" exist haha

漫画 A Channel
The new chapter (92) talks about hide-and-seek, literally. Because Yuuko is with a teacher and the others are bored in the cold weather. Funny how it all turns out especially Run-chan totally telling off Nagi-chan and her obvious traits despite her being in disguise (lol), but hey that was fun. And we don't get to see the punishment! Oh well kuroda bb-sensei, we know we're not getting it, considering the way you say it. No really, running around half naked probably isn't a thing in this story haha
Haha Yuuko-chan she thought they are pulling a prank on her.
Then again if I were her knowing that could happen I might just leave first lol

漫画 Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
Wow what a d*ck, the author haha. Left two stories hanging, if that's not enough of a cliffhanger for you.
The new chapters (49, 50) talk about two specific stories which are actually more interesting than you think. Firstly, the girl. The girl who confessed to Uchinaki, and I bet even you remember it from the Anime. Yeah, she's back (including her younger sister who Uchimaki stalks lol) and she is desperate. Well, not desperate enough for another confession or undying love, but she has something. A love for art. What's more, a love for 2D art like the guy himself. Extrapolating this into the far future where people fighting over Uchimaki may be a thing (lol Usami-san), I also see more potential for the Art Club to develop. Weird Saeki-chan may be not, but she is shy, to say the least. But hey, I like this extension, if it'll ever come back anytime soon. The other talks about the guys at the library (if you didn't notice the Chairman at the library it's not my problem haha) doing research and reading books, amongst other weird things. Colette-chan seems to have found something, and the couple sure is playful. No wonder the librarian thought they were a pair haha. Can't wait to see what happens.
The sense of achievement as a teacher when students really ask you questions.
Tachibana-sensei is holding her tears well as a professional lol
P.S. Can we have a season two of this already?? Argh I envy the sequels of Anime I DONT watch lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
[Hint: The tooltip images that pop up can be searched online, provided you're not using IE8 lol]
Okay, let's talk about music. Third disc on my shelf by next week. I'm not even joking. Remember this?

This week's releases come short of what I wanted to listen even with Apple Music, and that's where I think this streaming service is going to under-perform. Nonetheless, let's talk about songs first. 96neko's new single (apparently her first) (read as "Kuroneko" because of the numbers) was pretty good at first impression, and within a week I took charge to bring it into the list. More on that on the review when it arrives next week because boy have I found out a lot about this singer. I also took time to listen to YUKI's new albumwhich isn't disappointing I must say in general, and I'll probably give a couple more if I really miss Ikimonogakari that much haha. (Well we need to compensate the lack of it somehow) LuckLife's new album is missing in the list for now, and from the music videos they are rather good, so I may have to depend on the online community to help me on this I guess I have no money for iTunes yet lol

Also, you'd be relieved that I've given up on giving songs from Sangatsu no Phantasia and Scenarioart's albums. I mean, I tried, but to no avail. It's fine. There's more songs to come.

Speaking about new songs (haha), you guys heard the new song from Natsukawa "Nan-chan" Shiina? Sounds great, I would say, and I can't wait to (try to) give three songs from her, which I doubt will happen anyway, but still. Also mentioned in the radio broadcast from Tuesday (burned mobile data, totally worth it) was the release of Asakura "Mocho" Momo's 2nd single. Also mentioned in Aki-chan's radio show this week is her new single, so.. I see a lot of money gone in the future, although seeing from the credits for Anime (hell yeah) I'm doubtful. So... I'll see about that haha.

(As usual, for more details please visit the Tweets I liked on my Twitter account. I'm not Wikipedia, you know *wink* *link*)

This is it then. I need some transition period (and suddenly I recall a song title from School Food Punishment I didn't give lol) to return back to work life I guess, and until next time... I'm giving YUKI new songs from her album. Typical Sunday evening, if you ask me. Oh, also this haha. Cya guys then.

Monday 13 March 2017

It's as if modern society has pinned me down with a wrestling move and all I can do is to struggle and surrender.

Hey, no one said living in modern society is easy. And yeah, it's kind of sad. Even styling your hair for going to work matters. No really, it matters. You don't look good. People will talk about it. It'll make you feel bad. And you'll have no choice but to do it, even if it's against your wishes. I guess that's being a citizen of modern society, if that's what it means.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #11

Another week, another bunch of new stuff to see, huh.

I should start giving some of these things money. Through its source. Well I've bought CDs, but after that it's going to be tough. "Through its source" means understanding Japanese stuff and area restrictions, so... yeah. It's going to be hard haha. I've thought of it often, believe me. Haha let's move on.

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
(I wish it was "Ansatsu-ka" but I've got enough of that octopus already lol. Yeah, got nothing to do with that. FYI it's "Kansatsu-ka", ie. Investigations Lesson, in plain translation. We're going to learn a big lesson here right now)
And indeed we do. (Haha sorry for writing the intro literally starting of watching the episode) The new episode (#ACCA09) probably is the most groundbreaking of all, of all strategies that is of higher regard, and this one tops it a notch. First half talks about people eyeing for Lotta-chan, knowing that she is of royal blood, and may be of threat to the family. Fortunately this got stopped good by 1x Maggie and his trusted friend, and of course Jean's superior, who immediately reported to ACCA headquarters. Problem here is the second half of this episode. Everything was a plan. A plan above one too, which is just bizarre. Never before have I watched this much layer of shrewdness lay before me (I mean, I probably did, but this one fits perfectly) so quick, and so smoothly. Grossular finally talks about his plans for ACCA to the Chiefs, and Lilium for once agrees with him. Thinking of it as such a good plan, little do we know of Lilium's true identity. I don't think we need further elaboration, but we can see who's on top of who now. Yeah, and among all obstacles they have to clear, Mauve is going to be the next. Will she comply, or will we see a real change in paradigm? Oh man, I can't wait.
ACCA Sign Trivia Time! What does this mean?
(You're not allowed to look it up haha)
P.S. Me as Jean in Peshi District: "Okay I'll hear what you have to say" *starts talking about Jean being king* "Ah on second thoughts you should just keep your mouths shut" haha
P.P.S. I swear, TRUE NEXT EPISODE HYPE for once in... ever since I watched Anime. Damn excited for next week now.
(Answer for image: Honbucho Shitsu = General Director's Room)

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
I think I may have teared up too much for this episode. But seriously, is this what happiness feels like?
This new episode (#3Lion21) finally takes the break off that tournament, and brings us a lot of... happiness, it seems. We start with Shimada and his hometown Yamagata, and hell yeah the elderly welcome him as usual, despite him being a rain-bringer haha. Nonetheless, the events held on his hometown are meaningful, including Human Shougi (didn't even know this was a thing) and 100-Move Matches (I guess it's just pros playing with the people) which are interesting in its own way. Hearing Shimada's story about contributions he did to his hometown also felt great. No wonder he was so concerned about answering to his club. Second half talks about the Kawamoto family coming up with a new item, and hell yeah Hinata got the idea. Despite them having to spend a bomb on a sweet shop she still managed to think of something new. Such cohesiveness, such team-building... I wished I had a family like that. And of course not forgetting Kiriyama, he's there just on time too.
Too much of a masterpiece I can't help but put aside all the jokes for this haha

アニメ Demi-chan wa Kataritai
This new episode (#DemiChan10) we talk about Dullahans. Like, a lot more about it. Like, we have to go to a university and talk to a professor type of level. What's more, a physics pro. What's more, talk about wormholes! Hey, I know this is not a scientific experiment of whatever sort, but I swear if the author has a hard time writing this or everything else in this story (it may not be an either-or though) I won't blame him. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to hear Machi-san may just be an epitome of time-space research! Well, maybe not now, but it sounds like it from an expressionless person lol. Anyways, it's interesting and all, and hey we shouldn't forget Takahashi-sensei's kindness and Machi-san's desperation for a kiss of some sort. Haha, you'd wish the succubus could do something about that.
No, it's not audio sync problems. He was genuinely excited.
(Wow I have a feeling this makes the team a lot happier animating this guy haha)
P.S. Machi-san MVP of this episode? Well, Hikari-chan may be best girl, but still.

漫画 Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
(I'll leave the latest one out for this week; I don't want to read sh*t scans haha)
The new chapter (48) (but not latest) talks about... a switch over? Yeah, not in gender like that new movie by Makoto Shinkai that got so popular even he's scared of his own work (It's "Your Name" btw), but just in who's drawing who. Typically, if you could recall, is Uchimaki asking Usami-san to pose for him (also typically showing off her panties haha), but as suggested by the Chairman they switched roles. Being a model for Uchimaki is seriously hard for some reason, but being an artist who draws accurately her model is pretty easy, apparently. Well, not like there's any motivation for drawing certain features or whatsoever haha
And that is how much Uchimaki has seen her panties.
Ah, what bliss to be him haha
P.S. Usami-san's imagination for MVP. She wants that wall slam (ie. "Kabe-don") from Uchimaki, huh.

In other news, I've decided to download manga to read offline on my phone. I'm not going to get bored again haha. Also, this will make me update the list here more often, considering I haven't read the bulk of some manga I've talked about yet.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This new week brings a couple of albums which actually sound pretty good. As I said, the reviews on the train using Apple Music is just not going to be enough haha. Sangatsu no Phantasia's new album (the group who sang the Demi-chan ending theme) sounds okay, but very Anison-like artist anyway, so I just gave a couple. Scenarioart's new album seems to catch my attention more though, as I try to give chance to songs that sound a lot like them but are deviated due to the variety of music styles they have put in their melodies. I'm not complaining, but this may not be easy to give. I shall see it for myself. But I do intend to give more than just one, because I feel that I should give them a chance.

Also, two new reviews are up, so be sure to read them. Sayuri over Yuuki Aira, for always. Maybe it's just the clear file gift that I'm biased towards, but still. *laughs*

In other news, many more artists appear to present their new releases for next month online, and I'm enjoying it. LuckLife's new album is out next week and the topic song sounds fantastic btw, and also I've been spoiled of 96neko's new single early last week, so... I'm not giving promises for my third review this year just yet haha. As usual, refer to my Twitter likes for details (amazarashi, Yoru no Honki Dance, Kuso Iinkai's doing a bit of revealing their album songs etc.), because even I don't have the time to manually update my own list to note for new releases every week. But hey, it's thriving. And thanks to Apple Music, I get a heads up which I totally appreciate because it makes my day. Well, only Wednesday mornings, but that's good enough haha

This is it then. Cya guys next week. I need to revert back to my work mood or otherwise I'll hate to wake up tomorrow morning. Yeah which practically means I need to lie down on my bed now haha. Until next time then. Even though by now I've already been numb. Can you believe it's been 9 weeks? Yeah, I did this series a whole lot longer than that and I'm not getting bored, huh.

[P.S. You might have noticed on desktop version of this post that you can hover over some bolded text and relevant images appear. This is not spam unlike certain advertising-based websites because the mobile version is sticking out the images quite blatantly. I'm trying out new in HTML so we'll see if I can get it done by next week. Meanwhile... maybe I'll make the images smaller haha]
[P.P.S. I was about to sleep after this, but, yeah, it's fixed. Enjoy. Can view on mobile too, just highlight the text (yes it's the two albums for this week in Klassic Note segment)]

The Klassic Note Review 2017.03 Issue 2

And yes, as mentioned, I'm here. I wished it would come yesterday, but still. I know there's work, and they might as well deliver it during the weekend instead, but!!! I can't wait for the weekend, so... *laughs*
(Let's get this over with, yes?)

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Yuuki Aira - Pale Moon ga Yureteru [Single]
(I mean, I didn't have a choice. Then again, I don't have to. This cover looks great! More on why I think so below.)

Origin: This actually doesn't have much of an origin... but I'll start with the Anime she is credited first. This comes in a long line of Anime artists I like to give provided the show is also good (exceptions do apply), and this one fits right up my alley. I won't say how good it is, but it isn't bad. Simple melodies and lyrics probably is the best catch for this release and Yuuki Aira's voice right here, which seemed perfect for the Anime itself. More on that later, but yes, this is an Anime associated release, because both tracks are used credited in the show in some way. Being the ending theme and also the insert song release, this release itself already has potential, not to say that it's still good.
(Trivia: She's 35 this year. Yeah. No wonder you don't see her on the cover lol)

(1) Pale Moon ga Yureteru [Pale Moon (Is) Wavering]
I promise to keep it short for the Anime and talk a lot more of the song itself. For the Anime, it fits the tension of every episode, giving us a really relaxed feel of how quiet songs should sound like, and it sounds... pretty good in general. This song also gives off the vibes of a sad tune, if you can relate later in the show of the dancer in the animation being of great importance, and of much meaning. The song itself is simple in melody, and impressive as a preview. I'm slightly displeased (I say it in the nicest way possible) by the way some parts of the song are done, but other than that it's your usual Anime theme song. Good, but not good enough. Hey, good is good enough for me. Also, one of those songs I'll listen in a cold, dark night. Not that the moon or this song title has got to do with it.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(2) It's my life
I bring everyone to one episode of an Anime, and even if you didn't watch it, is also staple of every other Anime: flashbacks. And this one fits the mood well. (Spoilers ahead) In episode 8 of the Anime brings a sad yet tragic flashback of the death of parents (the woman on the cover is one of them), and combined with the ending theme song above, probably is the best concoction for tear dropping down anybody's face. On the other hand, this song is quite lively, quite blissful in feeling, and quite like an ending never before heard. You know as the curtain draws down in whatever occasion? This feels totally like it. The lyrics may not give enough of the feel, but they do express the feelings of life, of love, of what life should be. Hey, it ties back beautifully with the show once again. I urge you to watch this show and experience this insert song with me, and I promise; It's something to feel in life. And I mean it in the nicest way possible, this song. Generally thinking more slurs and such on her part may make this song sound a whole lot better, but hey, I don't do the lyrics.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: If it's for the Anime, I don't see why you shouldn't get hold of this release in some way already. On the other hand, the songs in this release are easy to give yet hard to love, and that is staple of Anime theme songs which give off the vibe of incomplete works. Ignore the flaws, and this release probably is not far behind everyone else good.

THE PACKAGE
Okay, first things first. Because I took a different approach to get what I wanted, I guess I should talk about it. I tried one of the many buying services there is online now (forwarding services are sooooo yesterday) (btw it's called SMAOKU) because they can buy it for you, but I tell you it's not going to come cheap. Then again, I'm paying quite a sum compared to the previous release *wink* I just got my hands on last week, so I shall not talk about it too much. On the other hand, the box is big (which makes shipping cost A LOT due to its dimensions), there's a lot of padding, and that gift card which looks exactly like the cover is totally safe. I also like the passive ad flyers they put in the package (you don't get that if you do forwarding) (just saying) which I looked up, probably also not far off the prices of what I'm using today.
On other things, you can find Yuuki Aira's face. At the back (not shown) and behind the disc. And no, I'm not here to look at images of her lol

This is truly a wonderful release, but I would say Sayuri is better somehow, that is why I did not hold my breath for this release. Then again, it's on the shelf for a reason. Took me a couple of days before I decide to give them, but still. Cya guys then, and next time... who knows if we'll get another issue this month? No promises there though, but I hear 96neko and her new single is pretty good and is already out digitally. We'll see. It still counts as pre-order if I give it over the weekend haha

Wednesday 8 March 2017

I want to be impressed. And in order to do that, I have to set aside my own experience.

After not being able to unsee harsh comments online doing nothing but criticising media really breaks my heart, especially if you're impressed with it. Oh well. What does it mean to be experienced when you want more, criticise everything that is not what you expect, and never give a chance for perspective? Growing up somehow makes some of us very narrow in comparison.

The Klassic Note Review 2017.03 Issue 1

Hi guys. I know the week's not over, but DHL doesn't take breaks on Sunday, so let's do this quick haha. No seriously, thanks Amazon Japan. You've made my week.

How long as it been, six months since my last review? Man, even the shelf is gathering dust haha. Okay, let's start.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Sayuri - Heikousen [Single]
First Press Limited Edition Anime Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Why do 2D image when there's 3D, yes? I mean, look at the girl. I'll take the Regular Edition cover even without the 2D character haha)

Origin: Well, I guess I should start somewhere. Two years ago, she appeared as an aspiring singer-songwriter for Anime, it seems, and since then she has not been stopping. Her second single from last year has been on my shelf for people who know of her and me, and this fifth single was rather unexpected even though totally anticipated. On the credit side, maybe it's because I haven't gave her another song since then, and this one starts her year well. I mean, she's definitely close to an album, and with her current standard in composition I'm not surprised that she can impress me with her songs. Also, this release features one of her early works which I will elaborate later, but still, she takes the first straw for being on my shelf.

[As usual, I only review the Regular Edition (far right cover) which houses two tracks. Not more, not less]

(1) Heikousen [Parallel Lines]
This song will draw a lot of parallel (I see what I did there) from the Anime it's credited to, so let's talk about that. Ignoring the fact that I rejected the show harder than the characters have been doing it themselves, Anime "Kuzu no Honkai" hosts Sayuri's character and composition style well, and it's whatever she wished for. Dirty (not in the sexual sense), sad and a lot of being lost. Such is of her nickname before she started her career (which I shall not elaborate on), but also part of her way of expression in music. And I think when it comes to that, she did this song pretty well. It sounds strong like her other songs, the chorus has impact, and overall it was done right. Besides my only complaint be the bridge part of the song, the song itself is really catchy, and thoroughly expresses her emotions just like I remembered when I first heard her sing (Anime "Ranpo Kitan" is also a dark show in itself). So yes, five stars for chorus. The rest of the song? Not so much.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(2) BANDAGE
As usual, it's the B-side that shines in the light. I went hard to find a context to where this has been as it appeared not as a studio production, but an acoustic version, which makes me wonder. Results after a rather fruitless search turns out to be one of her early songs, probably back when she was auditioning and stuff. But I must say, this is when one's compositions can go sky high. This song has so much feels, I feel as emotional as she was during her early times as a musician: lost, scared and worried about success. Hey, I may not be one of them, but I can still feel them. And that, I gave her the thumbs up for making me feel it. Whatever she feels when she sings this song, of course.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: Overall a pretty good single, and I'd recommend to anyone who knows of the Anime because it fits the show well. Also, in a personal standpoint (because I rejected the show), I'd also recommend this single to anyone interested in her... compositions. She has her own strong style which is noteworthy to be attracted to, and this might just be her strong point against many other singer-songwriters in the industry.

THE PACKAGE

And yeah, I managed to get the A4 clear file. No really, I did, even one day after release date, which typically means in the world of pre-ordering for an Anime theme song release that "you're screwed". No I'm not joking, online purchases are that fierce. And if I thank that shop I bought from again for the swift delivery from Japan they'll start to blush haha
The package itself includes the file, but inside besides the usual (which I've been spoiled early by the Internet goddammit) is a small card of her. What a nice touch. Now I can fandom as much as I want, I guess? *laughs* No seriously, the worst best single this month has yet to come haha

(Well you know I don't say that in the review because I don't want to get sh*t on in the future when I read it lol)

This is it then. It came early or late depending on your perspective, but it sure as hell came. No, not Sayuri. I meant her new single, you sick bastards. Cya guys next week then. Really, Yuuki Aira is not going to like my review of her new single.

P.S. Oh well she's 35 this year already so I'm sure she doesn't mind haha

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #10

And with today coming to a close I've given two singles to be placed on my shelf. Yuuki Aira will be ordered later, okay? I just haven't gotten to terms with such a single. Well, considering Aki-chan's got it worse I think I can accept that lol

Hey the Anime below is literally the best this season, I'm not lying. *wink* Haha let's get started.

アニメ ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka
Now the truth is out, I don't know what to say. Even the ending theme featuring (supposedly) Princess Schnee dancing is sad.
In the latest episode (#ACCA08), turns out that it has always been a plan all along. It's no wonder many around are doubting Jean's identity, well also because why Grossular will be vital in the next part of this story. Later about him, let's talk about a history lesson. (Haha I like how this is only a small part of the King's life haha) (Also the Privy Chairman's) (I wonder who's older lol) It's about thirty years ago that the Princess decided to leave royalty for the world. For there is no one else to fight for the throne the youngest princess who bears a heir shall likely be the successor. And I think we can believe why the King hasn't given up his throne just yet. Surprisingly, Nino's father (I'll take it as the real one) has pledged allegiance to royalty, and serves them to be an observer to the Princess' future lifestyle. Whether it has been marrying a poor man, having two kids (yep you're right they are Jean and Lotta-chan respectively) and then dying in a train accident with Nino's father... it was supposedly all according to plan. I kind of hate if it's like that, but seeing how reaction-less Jean is after hearing the story, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Then again, the intro did emphasise well on living the existence, well Nino (who we don't know his previous name) chose to be with his father on his reporting missions to the King, and the Princess did choose to be free. I cannot express enough that you should understand this episode as a decision making point, than think of it as a conspiracy against yourself for not knowing anything. Also, what happens ahead is also pretty unpredictable, considering now many know of this story. Then again Nino is right - Jean is not going to be taking the throne. Or could he? Hey, the King's decision is final, I would say.
P.S. Kudos to MVP of this episode Yuuki Aira (I just followed translations lol) for the ending theme and insert songs in this week's release respectively. I have a feeling this is going to be first on my shelf this year.
Some may be sketchy, but they are great photos.
It's hard being Nino, fulfilling the duty for his dad and such.
(Then again he can don't do it?)
P.P.S. And I think we now can guess with some accuracy that Nino is reporting to - you guessed it - (I'm talking about the superior) the Privy Council people. But hey, Grossular wants a cut too??

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Wow that was really quite an episode. Please don't tell me this is the climax for this show.
The new episode (#3Lion20) continues on Shimada's journey to being the master, and yeah, to save you the trouble of watching to the end, he took his fourth defeat, but not like a champ. Apparently Kiriyama got to be an official observer for an audience (that do this very often in shougi tournaments of that scale) and noticed the cheap trick Souya pulled out too. Oh well, guess not everything anyone can see, but hey, Shimada is also tired. Of a lot of things. As shown in his dreams, as shown of him hiding from people talking behind his back, as shown of people around him being real a-holes and with "talking about experience" blabbering out of their mouth than along with their brains, it would seem it takes a lot just to be a master in that field. But guess what? No one went as far as Shimada did, so suck it all a-holes. If he didn't see the speck of light in the darkness I'm going to blame on everybody else who didn't put trust in the challenger than that master who probably should be replaced by an AI by now. Interesting part is, they never got to a story on Souya at any point, so we don't know who he is, actually. Season two maybe? We can but hope. On the other hand, Souya did make a light reply on solving his trick move, so I guess there's some human in him. Or so I think.
You know how you're nervous so you hold the mic with two hands?
I'll hold two hands to whack that jerk beside me till he falls lol
P.S. Not as crazy as KimiUso because the pacing here is definitely better, but still. If you need long journeys to success/defeat this show is for you. Or you can just watch their upcoming real-life movie.

アニメ Demi-chan wa Kataritai
Haha you be glad no one bought watermelons. Okay, it's not funny; let's move on. *laughs uncontrollably*
The new episode (#DemiChan09) of the show which I picked up last week talks about many things it seems, including succubus and summer stuff. I swear Yocchan (that married woman who voices Satou-sensei haha) must feel weird making all the weird sounds in the studio but hey, this comes with experience haha. In other things, Yuki-chan seems to do well with embarrassment that brings her cold sweat (I mean, she can just go hug a guy or something and the cold will immediately happen lol), and Machi is bad at telling jokes. Toss that in with a blockhead of a Takahashi-sensei for a man, and you got yourself a funny show to watch every week. No really, I'm just here for the laughs. On other things, Satou-sensei seems to be enjoying the manga lol, and we may yet see more of her next week. Hey, I like myself some juicy watermelons. I just don't want to be spasm-ing while looking at it haha
How do blockhead faces look like retard faces too?
Well I guess "is that a woman" is also part of a blockhead's quote haha
P.S. Bear in mind Takahashi-sensei is no blockhead; he's just good at concealing it. A bit too good, to say the least. Then again if I know of a succubus I'm better off jerking off at a corner instead haha

漫画 MANGA
No, and no. No manga this week, and no movies too. I mean, I'm busy playing games, that's why. Then again, I need to catch up on Acchi Kocchi, huh.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This week is a week of releases. Just as compelling as last week for some, this week is also quite disappointing for a few. Sayuri's new single turned out to be more acceptable than I thought, Yuuki Aira's new single which is also anime ACCA's ending theme is purely just good because of a certain insert song for this week's episode (no, it's really a coincidence), KANA-BOON's new single is not inside my brain yet even though it's the first few that I heard of, and SPECIAL OTHERS collaboration album... let's say I want an instrumental version of the album. Then again, does not remind me AT ALL of the previous album they did with six other groups back in 2011. Really, it doesn't. I'll sort the others out next week, but for now be glad two new singles are going to be only shelf. Stay tuned for reviews in the near future, possibly next weekend.

Update on last week's two albums ended up with me giving Kana-chan's new album just one song (seriously hard to give I would say, even Okii Reiji doesn't stand a chance), and miwa's new album a couple. Really, her album is starting to feel like a movie soundtrack. Maybe it's all the references that has got to do with it. Competition is fierce, miwa-chan, and it's up to you to not write such plain types of songs at this stage of your music career.

Okay, next week. Technically nothing, but if you've been following my Twitter account you'd know of a lot of releases coming in the following weeks and next month, especially. Many are also getting their rare once-in-a-while (or even their first) Anime credits which include THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Ajikan, Yoru no Honki Dance and so on. Literally next season Anime "Eromanga Sensei" who was written by dear manga artist who did Oreimo covers two artists I know of for theme songs: ClariS for opening and TrySail for ending. Next month is going to be great.

Oh, on another important thing I heard of. Appears that in their recent live performances sphere has announced their hiatus on releases and live performances but not other stuff like radio programs (thanks Ayahime for clarifying) "in preparation for 10th anniversary" in 2019. Yeah, they say so, but if you do know of the Anime industry which is literally packed with people who can sing, these girls aren't going to stand a big chance at scoring much considering sales from the past few years haha. Also, the same company also hosts TrySail, their next big thing. Putting that into account, you'd know why they want to focus on the juniors instead. But seriously, I'll miss them. As a group. Individually... hey I know I'm starting to like Ayahi-chan haha

This is it then. I'm off to ordering that Anime ending single before all the special gifts run out. Well, at this point (four days AFTER release) I hope I even get to take the leftovers. Fingers crossed. Cya guys next week, my work is going well if you know I can slack off at my desk, and until next time... Man, times flies fast. It's March already. For Klassic Note that's really slow. I am NOT starting strong this year.

[P.S. Well I don't know if I ended up with my last choice which requires a proxy order from my country that charges shipping higher than the average I do from my usual proxy service... Ah what the heck might as well try it haha. Wish me luck.]
