The Entertainment News 2022 Edition Issue #26

Wow, what a week outside work it has been! I missed a package and had to go collect it at the post office yesterday morning, I reviewed three singles in one afternoon which was yesterday so check it out, and Koko-chan's photobook almost did not ship on time because I forgot to add payment. Sorry Gamers! I will remember to do that when I pre-order next time haha

So that's where it'll definitely appear next month instead so that sucks haha, but on the upside we aren't spoiled yet besides herself and the many friends she gave her book to so... we are good? I hope so. At least lesser spoilers than Anime "Kaguya-sama" lol hey do you know a sequel is confirmed?? I'm sorry I'm toxic you can cancel me if you want just leave this blog alone this is all I've got

アニメ Summer 2022 Anime Preview

Welcome back to the quarterly series where I talk about Anime I've ever seen before and telling myself what I like. Yeah, that's all, totally won't shit on Anime I don't watch or anything haha

In order of first episode premiere date in Japan, here are my comments:

• Literally next week we are kicking off with "Kanojo, Okarishimasu 2nd Season" [Premieres 1st July 2022] because why not I miss loser-who-gets-laid-all-around Kazuya with stellar female cast which include Ten-chan as tsundere beauty, Yuuki Aoi as jealous ex, Naobou as everyone's ideal girlfriend lol, and Sumi-chan because I like Rieri more than any of them. *laughs* Anyways, more shenanigans hopefully giving the latter girls more due air time to be honest, and yeah, can't wait for the first b*tch slap of the series if there is any haha
• Okay "Teppen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" has like, WAY too many exclamation marks lol I copied this out so I didn't count- Is this how they get our attention nowadays?
• Wow I don't think know I should give "Lycoris Recoil" [Premieres 2nd July 2022] a chance or not. Because I thought this will be a nice comedy slice-of-life with ironically Anime "KONOBI" author as character design in this original Anime series, but why did it have guns? Man, now I don't even want to watch it anymore lol maybe I'll try one episode since Anzai Chika as main girl won't set me in here- Did they just put her as a cute girl with weapons again? Shout out to "Hitsugi no Chaika" by the way and her photobook cosplaying it hehe
• Okay okay "Engage Kiss" [Premieres 2nd July 2022] you got me, you got me! *laughs* I don't think the action scenes are any appealing to me anyways, but considering it's an original series (yep) and they do close up the romance plot to a triangle relationship instead of boiling it over like make the female antagonist into him too lol (voiced by Ookubo Rumi btw), but it looks more like it'll have way more action to deal with than the romance as the backend which looks like the trend these few years which is a minus in my opinion. I'll take a look, no promises though. Anime originals are known to impress only at the start haha also Ayano-chan is my new waifu lol you may not want your ex bro but I want her *laughs*
• Yeah long title warning but "Renmei Kuugun Koukuu Mahou Ongakutai Luminous Witches" is NOT in my list of Anime I want to watch lol
• Eh and no RWBY please I know too much of Rooster Teeth's past to not want to watch this anymore lol oh it's a Japanese original by the way it got this popular from being made in a subpar animation tool to this a decade later- Yang is the coolest haha
• Why are there so many sci-fi themed series? Can we just have cute girls without guns and/or robots? Please? *laughs*
• *looks at "Prima Doll"* See?? *sigh*
• Oh yeah this mess haha I only know "Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life: Daini no Shokugyou o Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita" which has an even longer name than the one before, has Kanno Mai voicing as one of many (newbie voice actresses) slimes (lol) and they are just lighting up the official Tiktok page so don't ask me what the plot is because it's isekai and I don't give a f-
• Goddamn why is "Kinsou no Vermeil" title even longer someone give me some pills to curb my long-title reading headache
• Oh yeah this one popped up a lot on my Twitter feed because "Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano Datta" [Premieres July 6th 2022] will have Hidaka Rina as main girl being the stepsister but also your ex in middle school. Welp. *laughs* The upside seems like the story is lighter than "Kaguya-sama" because they can't technically be together now but- I can't wait for the hentai scenes on this lmao ah hey tell me this is not a stereotypical porno plot haha I don't know though *silence* And yes I'll give this a look there's a lot to offer like the perfect sidekick voicing by the one and only Okamoto-san (lmao) and Tomita Miyu as prospective girlfriend? Hmm...
• "Isekai Ojisan" I can't believe they placed two of my most hatred words together I WILL NOT WATCH THIS EVEN IF I DIE AND REINCARNATE AS AN OLD MAN IN AN ALTERNATE WORLD lol
• A harem in an isekai? Sorry "Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo" but- What is wrong with this list haha you are making my bro go wild lol
• I mean come on, "Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari" is basically "Bungou Stray Dogs" and you're Oda-kun taking care of his boss' daughter Elise-chan. *laughs* And that was funnier since it had dressing up scenes so no. *laughs*
• Seeing that I already can give many other series above already, maybe I should not even watch  "Dagashi Kashi" author Kotoyama-sensei's newest series "Yofukashi no Uta" [Premieres 7th July 2022] because despite me going meh seeing the first chapter of the girl sucking some blood and getting high over some middle schooler's... I don't even wanna talk about it haha and we have more than one of these vampires as the kid goes out at night so... stay at home kids. *laughs* Then again that'll be a great way to go, better than donating blood *dabs* And it's Ten-chan sucking you off so what's wrong with- I'm going to get banned. *laughs*
• And if you're bored of Anime "Takagi-san" bullsh*t and wanted something else the author has something else for you, since one of his (yep, many) newer series "Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru" is already getting Anime adaptation! Then again I like Takagi-san and this is shougi and reminds me of the nightmare that is "Sangatsu no Lion" so unless they can get me with something I'll pass- Like, is it because the "Kaguya-sama" lore is ending that they are putting other series to take its place? *laughs*
• Yeah I've heard this and all its lore because "Isekai Yakkyoku" [Premieres July 10 2022] really sounds less like a isekai survival cr*p but actually just survival because you save lives! So that's actually intruiging for me even if ISEKAI is slapped on the damn title lol plus I can live with Aki-chan as a dude and Ede-chan as main girl (hehe) because the plot is actually travelling back in time where, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the guy is using his special doctor eye to treat people using "alchemy". Yes, before it was called Western medicine. So yeah, more than enough reason to give this even one chance, to be honest. I might just break the isekai self-ban this season lmao then again isn't "MariWaka" also isekai if you think about it
  
• I've also heard of this from Rieri in the past couple of weeks but I think I will skip on "Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii" because there is too much mystery in this to pass out on despite it being attractively enticing as a series itself in my opinion, but the authors in RC (first time quoting them in a long time by the way) do note about the age gap love comedy thing which authors in recent years are trying to brainwash us for some reason *ugh, "HigeHiro", ugh* so maybe I'll pass. Compared to the competition it doesn't have solid lore to get me to be frank.

So yeah, can't get out of the romance comedy scope. Please, romance comedy is ending according to "Kaguya-sama" so... *laughs* I am risking myself to watch some Anime originals though so let's hope they are good. *silence* Man, when was the last time I liked an Anime original? "Tada-kun"? Yeah probably. *sigh* And if we miss all of them I'll pull out "Heike Monogatari" from the archives since I've been wanting to watch that for some time so might as well take a down season to do it.

アニメ Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic

"I feel that I have nothing to lose to get an early admission (into Stanford)" Oh Shirogane you gonna lose everything alright haha *dabs*

What, she just walked away from the drop? The calm before the storm, everyone. We need to see Kaguya LIT!! Haha as in not the campfire by the way, like, see her rage. *laughs* In this final episode of this awesome series we are still getting budget on (#KaguyaSamaS312), oh we are talking about BOTH episodes by the way, I have no idea what happened but I was promised a full-hour special so let's put two of them as one. (Haha see what I did there?) Anyways, story. Sorry for the potential long write-up but capitalism caused this to happen lol fourth wall break? *laughs* Firstly, we deal with the "tsundere onna" Kaguya and her surprise at knowing about Shirogane's impending future. (No really, Hayasaka said that, subtitles are misleading) (Also Hayasaka I like that shit, tsundere onna, they are my fuel to watch Anime lol) Because seeing how we are at the precipice of someone doing a confession, Kaguya seems like she had to do it already, right? RIGHT?? Because if not, then it'll be over within a year. Just as Hayasaka mentioned as she's dragged out of her class lol, if Kaguya decides to have one last year with the guy dating and stuff, this is it. So yeah, they had some rehearsals, but don't expect it to go well just because. *laughs* But in Kaguya's defence the butler may have gone too far to expect her to do it, because you know, ultimately she is still a maiden at heart and asking her to do it is kinda lacklustre to be honest also not entertaining haha Hayasaka disguised as Akasaki-sensei the author I see you lmao, so we have to leave it to Shirogane then. Meanwhile though, everyone else's affairs first. It would seem that Ishigami did not know that the giving-hearts thing in this festival means a confession and he technically did it TWICE like seriously bro why you two-timing on your senpai with Miko-chan, but Tsubame thought she could give this some thought. Like, three months more thought, thanks to Ishigami's stupidity. *laughs* Like, you think girls aren't into legends, especially in a school festival? You are NOT suitable for this woman. *laughs* But that's that, best way to make sure they don't interfere with the main couple, I guess. Wait, main not yet couple. *laughs* Then, the campfire lit up thanks to our resident ace archer Kaguya, and we come back to that phantom thief dropping scares on the field again. I mean, at this point you would've known even without me putting spoilers up front that Shirogane Miyuki is that thief. No really, this whole thing is literally his shtick, or else how could one steal the ball at the roof which he made and dump a bunch of fire-resistant papers into a campfire where the thief knew paper will burn so he could prevent this to become an accident or else there will be no school festival? Think about it. *laughs* Okay we don't know about the paper part, but Kaguya knows. So yeah, intended for her to find him out and everyone else to be amazed by how big this mystery is lol Fujiwara you idiot you fell for it, Kaguya heads for the clock tower, which hints again, only the Student Council has access to the keys. So yep, as one of the reporters mentioned and Hayasaka then realizing and quivering at the corner lmao, someone planned well in advance. This one Miyuki, from the moment he knew his life in Shuchi'in is about to end, has planned all this for a moment with his beloved: Shinomiya Kaguya. I would say that it was the girl who fell for him but you know, about a year and a half ago the guy started it first. But at the top of the tower... we are STILL stuck with that problem, by the way. A friendly reminder how that the title was directly translated (I'm so sorry if the appendix in your body is stuck with English localization) to "Kaguya-sama wants to be confessed" because oh boy, did Shirogane not do it at all. After setting all this up, we finally find out why both of them will never confess to each other, making this an eternal stalemate so we can make more Anime seasons of it. *laughs* The guy won't do it as his status is weak and will need to be recognized by the other, while the girl will never do it because it's against her ego, to say the least- Hey, she's a woman, guys confess to girls, ok?? Get that one straight dude. *laughs* But yeah, the guy still needs to be recognized. He did it by releasing all the balloons in the big golden ball he made for the festival thanks to the other club member shout out to her, he asked the principal to apply for Stanford with the other application left for his girl, and he set up the best mood value for whatever is about to happen up front as evaluated by Yukimura from "RikeKoi" lol sorry for Anime reference. *laughs* I would argue though? That a confession should NOT be your answer despite the slogan for this final episode to be "goodbye romance comedy" because no one said that a confession should be the answer to this. You can kiss, for example, and that'll prove the comedy part is over. Yep. And so she did it alright. So much so the butler wants to kill herself because single her is just going to be sh*t on by the master because she did the... not kiss by the way she learnt the wrong stuff from Nagisa and her boy so I would like to believe it's French kiss lmao that just makes it better haha what's wrong Hayasaka, but I'm just glad there is a conclusion to this whole lore we have so far. Because really, how far can we go on with this without people holding hands? *laughs* Okay summary because this should be long enough, all in all I can only say this conclusion this season is enough. I cannot expect the real confession to happen anytime soon just because, and I cannot accept nothing to happen here also just because we are three seasons in. And because the confession has not yet happened - remember it's Shirogane to Shinomiya specifically for the title to hold - we are still in limbo for anything to roll such that this can happen. So yeah, pure genius play right here I must say totally not filler content by the way someone broke the fourth wall to say that lol I don't think so too it's just a good joke, but damn I wish I can go out with someone without having to confess my love for them. *laughs* No really, you should try that out. *laughs* But I would argue again, that if Shirogane you set this all up, then maybe you should do the manly thing by confessing. But what do I know, we need a way to make sure this DOES NOT happen so... Oh fourth season announced by the way so we will know by then lmao see you then

"White Day? Because that guy gave you chocolates?" Wow Hitomi your brother is not gay, you know. *laughs*

So yeah, it has been a year, huh. Guess what happened the same day a year ago. There weren't chocolates passed around, that's for sure. *giggles* Anyways, in this final episode of the series (#KomiSan24) we have some White Day to conclude the season. Tadano did the genius play by NOT doing it on the day where everyone did it where it was a school day and a day before the actual so one can give back the gifts easier unlike everyone else including Katai to Katou-san so good for you bro I know you don't care but *laughs*, so he gets to do it at her place on a weekend, this guy. Yeah, real smart, right? Also evil, it's like he knows to do that. *laughs* Anyways, he got interrogated by the father somehow lmao well this is how it works in interrogation rooms by the way they put Komi-san's dad in who doesn't talk, and then Shouko came back so that was a mess haha I meant her room, and the guy gave the gift. Hand cream is a surprise for what was chocolates because I swear the prices are different lol one is priceless it was handmade anyways how will the return gift be better *giggles*, and included is also just one candy. Yeah, so he likes the girl that much. Just a bit. Cheeky boy, this dude. Marvellous play there I can't even. *laughs* I'm taking notes, by the way, very important strats. *laughs* Then, we top up with some eraser wars. If you don't know what that is you are too old please leave lol, for back then when we used papers and had pencils to draw on them instead of iPads and Apple Pencils lmao, we have erasers to replace that Undo button. *laughs* So that for its rubbery texture is perfect for bumping into other ones, and that's how the joy of bumping each other happened, long before romance novels. *laughs* Of course, we don't really have to elaborate how Makeru-chan lost it's in her name, Najimi's eraser is a phoenix so they don't die lol they also don't have gender too what a coincidence haha, Tadano is normal so normal people suck at this lol same, Nakanaka obviously knows pro tactics here and her experience is real unlike Makeru's lol, Yamai's job is just to defend Komi-san's eraser what a surprise haha, Katai-kun's eraser with the bear icon on it destroyed Naruse's in a second lmao, and I guess everyone else is in this tournament because why not probably last day of school already and the teacher isn't here so *laughs* So yeah, just a great summary of everyone including the final reminiscence of the couple (they already are, what are you talking about they aren't) by the window on how great the first-year class was that set up to be the foundation of Komi-san and her high school life. Ironically I wondered why Tadano didn't mention about Komi-san opening up to this weird class will give her confidence for the new year, but considering that thanks to the outro they are in the same class again, this will no doubt just bring us more people who may or may not be in the class but are weird because why not we can hire 50 more voice actors into this series so everyone gets a cut since it's earning so much in views on Netflix. *laughs* Yeah, jokes everywhere, everyone. All in all, decent ending to otherwise a super entertaining series, I have mentioned before this has late 90s Anime vibes which is all the raze of Anime comedy series anyways so shout out to the author for making the timings and everything better along with the production here, and this was as easy as a series to watch and enjoy as it is to see the lore going forward. Don't expect anyone to date anytime soon by the way, but do expect all the jokes and moments that'll make Tadano scream harder than he was playing eraser wars. *laughs* That, I think this series has done its job for conveying the mood. Heck, it might not even be enough I might as well go back to watch the episodes again now that they did the recap I want to see swimsuit Komi-san again haha ah

アニメ Kawaii Dake ja Nai Shikimori-san

"I won't be of any help (during the sports festival) so I hope I get into an event that isn't a big deal" Yeah Izumi pick out the event that no one wants to do bro that'll help haha

I was promised this is a Hachimitsu MVP episode so LETS GOOOOO *laughs* In this new episode where we are doing the sports festival and in Anime they always make it look good lol (#ShikimoriSan10), yeah guess who will be in the relay race that no one wants to join? We've got 5 slots though to let's make sure it's not anyone from the gang- Dammit. *laughs* So yeah, the gang ended up carrying the class to win the sports festival with the final event no one wants to contribute lol same dude, but let's talk about how we got there. As Hachimitsu said, it's different doing it for others, to see them smile, and that's what matters. But seriously though Hachimitsu can we guest you in "Slow Start" and intro you to Hana-chan? *laughs* I think you two will make great running buddies lmao. Anyways, the guys practiced for their relay race for a bit, well, maybe more than a bit considering the other 3 hardly need any practice lol they have other events to participate too, but Izumi and Hachimitsu have to. Hey, I wish people around me are my motivation to work harder, but in her case, I would too if I had such encouraging friends who will not give up despite their nightmare-level luck lol yes I'm talking about Izumi here. Because turns out we have Izumi who can run but is prone to disaster even that one rock on the ground could've sent him to the nearest hospital lol, versus Hachimitsu which is basically me who can't run but won't fall... sorry I jinxed it haha, each of their average speed checks out, so we good. *laughs* And then we just let the other 3 do the hard work and we win. Easy. *laughs* Yeah, Hachimitsu daring the others by saying that seems like a chad move, because on the day itself where she puts in her best for the class in the ball toss event to help the girls recover some points because why isn't everyone helping her pick up the ball for her to toss them since she did the latter so well, is already burnt out after that and had to run for the final event? Man, I wouldn't want that too no wonder no one volunteered for the race. *laughs* But yeah, since we are all in it already, Hachimitsu thought why not put in her best, and she did. Despite running slow and still not as slow as me haha and I'm a male btw and falling after kind of losing conscious lol (yeah that's a thing everybody it can happen when you exert too much energy and want to puke I once puked on a run sprinting to the finish line in middle school and that wasn't great to do by the drain in front of the girls lol legit embarrassment there), dear petit girl here still managed to recover with her bruised knee and run close enough to reach Izumi as the next guy and pass the baton. So yeah Izumi can screw this up which is THE MAIN EVENT ladies and gentlemen lmao, for the unforeseen has happened which was his shoe fell off because who needs shoelaces they don't work, and Izumi kept his pace behind 5th place all the way until he reached Shikimori, and guess who helped to catch up. Yes, this girl and her fear of losing and her rage against Inuzuka is her motivation for jumping up 4 places during her turn. *laughs* Now you know why we have this arrangement for the race, eh? Nekozaki doesn't have much motivation to offer. *laughs* But yeah success story spoiler alert, they did win it for the class overall too, so all is well. All in all, I must keep emphasizing on the fantastic storytelling in this series. I don't know if the source material is like this adaptation, but damn did the Anime do it good. From whenever that is to do with Izumi to Kamiya to Hachimitsu... I cannot ask for more tears down my cheeks. *sob* *laughs* But yeah, that's also precisely why I can recommend this to others I know, for this is how much coolness and everything else within that exists, that made this great. It's not condescending, not that cynical, and just enough for you to feel. And that is probably what will make it stand out this season. We still have two more episodes to go, so I really wonder what will be the deal breaker here. I mean, we can't break up Izumi and Shikimori... or can we? Haha just joking I have no idea we shall see about it next week

YES. The time has come. For me to talk about my journey of listening to Scenarioart's new album this week. I mean, you saw my Twitter account and how the members simp for every Tweet I make? *laughs* Apart from that, I only picked up a handful more of their songs along with the topic song with that music video from two months ago but I noticed I went for more familiarity which really makes me think I'm listening to VELTPUNCH for some reason, that song with the same name as the album title? Yeah, I don't know how to describe it. To them. *laughs* But hey, I like both of them so I won't even mind one over the other. *silence* Wait, I DO mind one over the other VELTPUNCH is better! *dabs* Anyways haha, with this they are also initiated into the Klassic Note Collection which is my pride and commitment to showing the world hopefully them the songs I liked from them so... well, just for me I guess it's just easier to sink in to their songs now I don't have to search for it lmao

On news regarding music that is on Twitter lol why am I using the same paragraph intro again, RYTHEM is doing a band and solo live tour so if you do not know of their solo music careers since their disbandment you should go listen to what they each have to offer (adequate title too, dark because of yucat and light because of the softer tunes of Neat's), glad that UNLIMITS is still doing live tours and their digest video is on YouTube and please tell me an album is coming haha please, GLIM SPANKY's new live video on YouTube is my reason I got back into them in 2020 after getting bummed from their 80s Rock style, ClariS new song will be for Anime next season which I may or may not watch we shall see next week, LUCKLIFE's new song is for an Anime movie due August which they have been in interestingly and this is their first credit since they went to another music label so that's interesting, Asakura Momo released a new song in view of her upcoming album in a month too and there's a lyric video too in case you need to feel for its weird melody but also it's with Dolby Atmos too if you have an iPhone and AirPods I guess she also announced a live tour and LP release for the album in her birthday livestream yesterday which yes I watched her eat sushi live haha, miwa's new song will release on the start of July for another drama looks like we have a trend here leading to a new release hopefully, Minase Inori's new music video teaser is already like so far in and we still have to wait for the full music video reveal haha sure dude, yanaginagi's new song with feedback for their 10th anniversary is... I don't know what to feel about it sorry lol, and last but not least nano.RIPE has announced a new album in 4 years after their recent live tour and goddamn it's about time we get more of these guys singing songs I can put on the rankings. *laughs* Ah hey, we lost a lot of Collection Artists recently, okay? We need more good stuff to cement this year's image.

So for next week, marking the end of the month we have The Floor's mini-album which will be their 2nd after losing their bassist and composer so I can't wait for more songs to be impressed, and Anime "Aharen-san" soundtrack because I wanted the insert song in one episode, so let's hope we can get our hands on it on digital. Unlikely so we will see how to talk about this even next week. *laughs* After seeing a Facebook post too I followed these guys there, I will also take a listen to Murder by Death's 1st album back in 2002 (20 years ago btw) and listen to how much they take their style from folklore than exert their creativity in their variety of music instruments. So far I've heard a bit and, uh, don't mind the song titles okay? *laughs* 

As the month comes to a close, we will get some more great stuff in DOAXVV in tomorrow's stream which is a collaboration again so yay leave my gacha gems alone lol, and maybe, just maybe, we can review Koko-chan's photobook before the next blog post. The Klassic Note Review 2022.06 Part 2

Happy birthday Asakura Momo!! Yeah, we not talking about your music by the way lmao your album is next month, I know. But you are in it though!

We're back for more music reviews! This time around, which should've appeared first, we conclude on this season's Anime theme song offerings before we move on to more new songs which I hope will not continue to burn a hole in my pocket lol please I need money to buy photobooks and bromides *laughs*

We also have a cheater amongst us again, and just like the Suzuki Productions previously lol, we have another single-track release! So don't mind me as I skip that and talk about the other two which ARE also way better in my opinion anyways. *giggles* Besides that, we have a lot of record breaks in a while, with this being the 2nd review post in a month and reviewing THREE SINGLES by the way. Yeah, this year's a miracle lol it's as if it knows we are at #KN15YEARS *wink*

CHiCO with HoneyWorks meets Mafumafu - Bibitto Love [Single]

Origin: I have been listening to this Anime artist for a while now, and similar to artists like Sangatsu no Phantasia and ClariS, they have been in cover of their physical image in order to deliver the audio image which they potentially possess, and I must say CHiCO-san here is fine by me. Though for being with Anime producer group HoneyWorks is what made her shine, singing great Anime theme songs one after another, as where I knew of them about 5 years ago. Fast forward to this season where they gave me the most hyped single I can expect from an Anime without such hype, it's still science-related, which really made you wonder how they pulled this off. Let's talk about why.

(1) Bibitto Love [Vivid Love]

From the intro:

"Vivid Love

Receiving (heart) flutters

Knowing about affection, about love

At the genetic level

The 'like' (we) can't unravel with (our) heads

Life's quest

Let's take it as a challenge"

This is another collaboration song for the Anime's 2nd season coming, which similar to the first ending song, but this time around we have a slightly different combination, but containing the best of what music production had to offer back then. The bass slaps, the melody is catchy, the lyrics bring in so much meaning into the theme of research of love... everything is wonderful about this song. With guest vocalist Mafumafu on the helm, he helped create balance in this duet, and made it sound better than ever. The lyrics speak about vividly being in love while still figuring out everything else... with science but we won't touch it any further. Now you know why this might be just by new favourite Anime theme song; It's just so good! Okay maybe the bridge part is too long but relevance definitely made it forgiving for the most part.

Rating: Vividly Above Average

(2) Soreike! Salaryman [Go go! Salaryman]

From the intro:

"Hooray Hooray!

Take it easy

Hooray Hooray!

Aren't you doing your best?

Hooray Hooray!

Tomorrow should be better than today"

I can't believe I got baited into giving this song considering this is a motivational song and it's this girl keeping me going on my working days. We all know the perks and troubles of working a day job, and CHiCO-san is here to cheer us up, is what I meant. That is all you need to know from the lyrics, by the way, and she did a good job of it maybe even more then idol groups out there because as real as this is, it also had a catchy melody I can dance to. Now somehow making her dance in a cheerleader outfit would be even better, but considering such a song is a rarity in theme, I would only thank HoneyWorks for making this viable in the first place, and I think that is what we should be happy for.

Rating: Cheerfully Above Average

Conclusion: This single might be the new best for Klassic Note Review this year so far, mind my words. HoneyWorks, you have once again proven to me the prowess of your compositions, and I cannot ask for more now that I have listened to this for myself. CHiCO-san is just icing on the delicious cake. If you know of her, then this is just another impressive work to add into your library. But if you haven't, this might change your impression of how much you think this singer sounds cute, way more than you can imagine. And to that, I'm glad this single existed to prove my point.

(Okay maybe too much praise but serious talk though this is really good you should give a listen if you haven't. Also, she did show her face to the camera before because search "the first take chico" and you will be impressed by not her voice)

nasuo - Honey Jetcoaster [Single]

(Four editions, by the way. I'm just glad that the Regular Edition exists and it's not an Anime cover...?)

Origin: I have only known nasuo-san here from Anime, but I did find out a little more about her peculiar style of music from her indie days to her now being under an Anime major label, her track record isn't exactly what everyone would like. That said though, thanks to Anime manipulating this behind the scenes do we get such a unique blend worth talking about. How did this happen though, I think we should talk about it at length to know if this was worth the ride.

(1) Honey Jetcoaster

From the first verse:

"(A) Want to be loved

(I) No excuses

(Shi) Want to know, wish to know

(Te) Embarrassed, just being mean

(Ru) Looping around

(?) Like a question mark"

(Brackets spell "Aishiteru?" ie. "Do you love (me)?"; The lyrics are also loosely joined in a shiritori word chain, where final Hiragana character in every line repeats on the first character in brackets on the next besides on "te", and "?" starts with "ku")

So, from the start the lyrics are already portraying the scenes from the Anime series for the opening song, talking about her being better than the boyfriend, and ironically also the variations of Anime plots apart from original Manga works... the lyrics had everything. Since it was written by yours truly, I would not be surprised how much this mattered as it really helped create an otherwise different landscape of what this might have sounded like if it weren't her. Add in her singing with occasional misses in melody, along with a catchy and heavily transitioning style, it's no wonder this will get the kids in as much as I did. And isn't that what Anime songs are about? So yeah, they actually nailed the formula, and getting nasuo-san in this isn't a bad idea after all. Just, this is not close enough to her usual style at any length. You have been warned.

Rating: Jetcoaster Average

Conclusion: This single has its ups and downs including different versions and mixes in the Regular Edition and I won't bore you with it, but nasuo-san here is brilliant in making Anime songs in this single, so I implore you to find them out since she wrote the bulk of character songs for the Anime itself I can't even. Coming back to this though, this song is probably enough reason for me to talk about listening to something different once in a while, and I very welcome such a change. It's refreshingly different and will leave an impression on me for years to come.

TrySail - Hanarenai Kyori [Single]

(Hey I thank whoever did not gauge this properly and give me close-ups on the Regular Edition because I liked that)

Origin: We are back with Anime world's beloved idol group TrySail, where voice actresses (refer to Limited Edition, from left to right) Amamiya Sora, Asakura Momo and Natsukawa Shiina sing for the world of Anime. It's their 14th single coming since their debut in 2015, and despite it feeling like a haphazard attempt at filling the role of opening song artist, it has also nailed it in execution and delivery, making this a more of a fresh take reminiscent release I have expected of them from the beginning. It was always what was slightly different that made them stand out more than ever from their usual.

(1) Hanarenai Kyori [Inseparable Distance]

From intro:

"Sure to have no result, with this far in distance

Enough to bury it up

Breathing in, tightly, choking

All of what (I) missed, I'll feed them (to you)"

For being the Anime's opening song, the producers totally nailed it in song design I would say by firstly making sure the lyrics and singing deliver a subtle whisper similar to ASMR feels, as can be heard from most of the song here and there. And that is probably what was attractive with this song, especially due to the fact that there are three vocalists, their whisper and singing can be fluently interchanged between all of them, and that makes if even more interesting then ever. The melody is simple, maybe too Anime in style, but it isn't bad, and adding in the whispers to break out of the song itself, depending who you ask, is probably for the better overall. Its uniqueness in style plus the usual Anime theme song feels makes it a compelling yet good song in my opinion.

Rating: Underestimated Above Average

(2) Etoile [Trans.: Star]

From end of first chorus:

"To the ever-changing future

Let's keep walking as usual

Let's move on, to where (it is) exciting"

When I listened to the intro I was immediately reminded of independent band SHE'S and their grand yet warm style of writing songs with impact, but turns out, this is a more reminiscent style of music I would have liked if you asked me about TrySail in their early days, and I'm just glad to have given the chance to them before giving it a pass. The melody is traditional yet different, the lyrics are motivating yet encouraging which again makes this more appealing on an idol group perspective than ever, and it doesn't have a bridge with vocals? What more can I nitpick about this song? Overall though, it does not stand out from the stars in the universe, but it was one that shone, and I took notice of it. That, to me, is good enough.

Rating: Beautifully Average

Conclusion: It has been a while since I reviewed a TrySail single, so I'm just happy it turned out better than what was in my first impression, just singing for a comedy romance Anime. Breaking out of the action Anime series they sang for is so different a world, it made me appreciate their early days singing such songs a lot more. This is also an easy entry for people who have never listened to these girls before, and is in my opinion a once in a blue moon rare treasure to pick up nowadays, so I won't ask for more.

THE PACKAGE

This came along with a few other stuff but we will elaborate that in due time when the other package arrives likely next month but meanwhile, we can still talk about the whole lot of stuff we got from the CDs though!!

As usual, because they are Anime releases we have a lot of stuff packed in to get a wider audience to buy them *points at self* and even if I'm at Regular Edition territory there is still a lot to talk about. 

Firstly, about CHiCO-san's single. Goddamn it was a large package, and it's no wonder it's the most expensive single among the three, because apart from the special photo bromide from Tower Records which I specifically chose the Anime one because I am buying the Artist cover already so balancing it out, is that it comes with a special artist keychain! A nice touch, but I'm not exactly into her music career or even herself don't even say animated self so... yeah. *laughs*

The booklet doesn't have a binder, by the way. So it's just cards which is really different tbh

Then we have nasuo-san's single. It's boring, so we can skip it now haha okay the booklet had more of her I guess. *silence* nasuo-san, anyone? No? *laughs* So this just came in along with the above release so I can save on shipping fees haha they did give a music label 30th anniversary serial code though so maybe I'll just register it

I tried finding something besides my finger to hide the code so... the QR code isn't it don't worry haha

Anyways, back to the good stuff, TrySail's new single is a real big welcome since I lost count when I gave them their singles a Review, but this is also why I had to rush this purchase from Animate just in case it got taken away, because goddamn the Animate bonus photo bromide with them close-ups is so good, I wouldn't really have considered anything else like SonyMusicShop, ANIPLEX+, 7-net Shopping, or even Sofmap which I can't even get my hands on so whatever. *laughs* Happy birthday anyway, Mocho. Slapped you right in the middle. *dabs*

Apart from that, in classic Animate fashion we have THREE serial codes to give out apart from the CD-exclusive gacha we can register if we had the CD... 2 weeks ago so impossible if we don't pre-order from CDJapan with direct shipping lol, but they were for:

• An online event due in July so we will know the details closer to that date,
• The single's panel show where they showcase the outfits of the girls in the release at Animate stores, they are giving out posters to 3 lucky winners, and

Hey, sequels don't count I can't predict the future and I don't read original works so people like my bro can spoil it to me- You know this season of Anime "Komi-san" ends on their first year, meaning there's two more years? Yeah, rather not know about that fact haha...

ENJOYING ANIME AND MUSIC ALONE IS SAIKOU~ lol

アニメ Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita. Heart

"It seems like (Shikijou) has caused a number of problems in the past" YEAH PROF NO SHIT WHY SAY THIS NOW- Uh oh.

Okay Yukimura lecture time I have a feeling I'm going to hate this so we shall see if in this final episode of the second season (#RikeKoiS212) they will make this end well- Uh... what is with the warning? *silence* Okay okay just a slight one I guess looks like it's mostly violence, because things are getting heated up for the conclusion! Hell yeah, I guess, but remember when Shikijou tried to confess properly on Kanade and got rejected? Turns out, the final boss was him, yeah. Likely in a fit of anger, he then shot her with a taser (how do you even bring such things out? well it's in the public I guess) and kidnapped her? Okay, I'm still following I guess. But yeah, as the Professor he works under talks about his eccentric behaviour and I wonder why he isn't beat up yet, Shikijou here is seeking the ideal romance through much more normal means I guess without resorting to violence, but who knows what will happen if that happened much earlier. This kid went to college, by the way, just so you know, unlike his many buddies who might not have and are really just here to enjoy some fresh skin lol I really can't make jokes like this at this point, still may not know how crazy Shikijou might be in person. Ironically, Kanade can't agree to such a confession even if she was forced to (And I wish she was forced to- Okay I should stop the jokes here) so I guess he just beat up his buddy or something. *silence* Okay, dude, do whatever. Thank goodness Yukimura is here for the rescue, and he's where the scene of saving someone becomes very NOT normal because apart from Kanade's predicament being tied up and such, her senpai still is able to set up a projector against the wall and explain the definition of "normal" in front of gang members who did not care and probably just one guy would relate to a smaller extent so that's funny I guess. Of course, they didn't take much care though to us it's probably more important as they also let Takahashi-sensei elaborate on what WOULD have been the best groping incident ever IF Kanade didn't send the teacher to the ground back then and into the hospital. I don't think that will scar a person such as Kanade since you know, love is in the air, BUT! *laughs* Okay you know where I'm going, so yeah, to achieve that ideal ending maybe wasn't important after all. How are you going to ask for all the hospital bills now after all these years, isn't it. *laughs* So yeah, with Yukimura dragging time, I sure hope he called the police before he stepped in so no surprises there, he was just playing around with these kids maybe taking a few hits too so law enforcement can get his back before all his DNA gets punched out of him. *laughs* Ah... feels great talking about all the stuff without having to talk about "normal" anymore, isn't it, Kanade-chan? So all in all, I must say they did the one episode which I have the highest doubts presented in the best and most scientific way ever, I can't even complain about it. So shout out to Yukimura for making this great, and guess who got a new admirer after this event. Well, I say that considering unless Yukimura is going a two-timer on his current girlfriend, this kouhai over here can only seduce him as far as we can imagine and then MAYBE Torasuke will go out with his childhood friend. *laughs* Yeah right, I'll just buy a life-sized plushie of Aika-chan for him or something. *laughs* Gotta say though, this season so far has its ups and downs, I definitely wasn't here for the science OR the violence, but I guess this is in its best way or even the way to end this season, in my opinion. That, you get as much respect as Kanade has of Yukimura, maybe even affection, I don't know. Go take my DNA sample now and check if there's more love for this series before this seasson started haha

アニメ Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

"Now that I think about it, I'm here now because Raidou-kun found me" Yeah Oshiro-san you right

The best part is that we don't even know where Oshiro-san is hiding. No really, the animation team didn't draw anything in last week, it's not just you. *laughs* In the final episode where there can't be more violence in an action series than this and this is not action lol (#AharenSan12) oh... OH!!! Haha so wait, she thought Aharen-san got rejected by Raidou even though the guy didn't even say anything in return? Uh oh. UH OH HAHA someone get more insurance now for Raidou-kun here we might be too late. *laughs* So, to conclude the series, I guess we need more misunderstandings from Oshiro here so guess I'm right, she probably got the wrong idea when her friend was trying to confess to Raidou and thought she got rejected. Or at least, her feelings were not returned and I guess Oshiro hates such uncertain feelings? Ah hey, you tell me. As they show flashbacks when she was the previous victim to Aharen's school life lol, besides Reina-chan's unbelievable cuteness haha and Oshiro-san basking in her care as they always do same with Raidou, it kind of reminds you how these victims (lol) deal with Aharen in different ways. In his case, however, we then found out that in that mystical scene a couple of weeks ago it looks like the reverse happened, so technically Raidou did tell the girl he liked her, unlike what Oshiro has thought of by herself. Surprise surprise, everyone was around when these two are having a duel of Reversi lol you can't make a heart in that game, and yes I am including Tobaru-sensei in this mix. *laughs* Kind of feels weird from that confession from both sides, but I can't think of a better ending so I'll take that. And then I assume the flowers thing with the tea party is just filler so we can get everyone together and see how long Tobaru-sensei can last not talking about the couple. *laughs* All in all, I think I gotta spend more time to talk about how much this series actually lived up to its name being a romance comedy series! OH MY GOD IT'S SO GOOD!!! No really, if I ranted about this it's only for how lame the jokes were, but goddamn if you were Raidou and/or Reina-chan here every moment will be a joke to me because I'm single and these two just got closer than ever. Yes, it's the ultimate appreciation of the beauty of this situation that the sensei is bleeding out about. *laughs* No really, think back about it, they may have set up to talk about Aharen-san being weird and all, so this actually is a new setup for what seems to be a blooming romance in progress, and everyone is there to make sure you don't get what's up until it's coming. To that, I hardly see romance comedy do it this subtle these years already it's either full-on drag or just waiting to be disappointed, but THIS. *giggles* So yeah, am I satisfied with this series? You bet I did! I will just go back and watch the special ending and Aharen-san doing rapping again or even witness that censored confession from Raidou lol, but hey, there were so much to remember, is the point. I just hope whatever they drop on us with new characters is a super big hint for another season of Anime because I don't even mind having more of these lame jokes packaged into a romance story you would want to watch before you die. Looking at you Momo-chan haha excuse me while I clap until my hands hurt

"No matter how hard you resist, you will never escape me" Haha I see Kaguya has gotten hold of Miko-chan's ikemen soundtrack. *laughs* Hey spread the news around I guess stop wasting paper like the news club in this new episode (#KaguyaSamaS311) where we talk about more nonsensical stuff to pass the time before we reach the final episode of the season next week. *laughs* Ah hey, they had to pay the Fujiwara detective, okay? She working overtime now. *giggles* So, amongst all the chaos we have witnessed this week, let's see how far we have come in this school festival, and where the drop will be at because really, things can't go THIS smoothly or can it? *laughs* Firstly, we have some phantom thief dropping all the hints on the students and stealing balloons it seems, so looks like there is someone stealing stuff in the festival enough to make a fuss but not enough for the student council or the organizing committee to care. Why though? Then I assume Shikimori too then haha you think it's STD? *laughs* In this new episode (#ShikimoriSan09) where Inuzuka is MORE important than Shikimori-san by the way maybe even over Kamiya-san I would argue lmao, now that Izumi is single again... *laughs* Okay, let's not say that for Shikimori will come after my life, but we can talk about this new rivalry after whatever happened with Kamiya previously and oh damn. This time, it's a guy. *laughs* Yeah that sounds like a good joke and it still is, but I think many may have the feels too it's not just Shikimori, but maybe because Inuzuka has such a resemblance to the brother (voiced by the one and only Shimono Hiro who himself is also cool btw he was just main character in half the Anime I watched as a kid haha) that maybe, just maybe, someone is putting this boyfriend's friend two and two together with how she treats her brother, so coldly. Maybe that's why she has been putting her distance from him, seeing that j-j-j-jealousy happen between what was just the boyfriend's childhood friend so maybe Izumi should depend on her cool girlfriend more just saying haha, and how Hachimitsu is so spot on we need her as the new generation Anime detective Fujiwara from "Kaguya-sama" is getting old we need new blood. *laughs* So yeah, probably a combination of those since Shikimori isn't denying it anyways, but at least it's not so much hate and misunderstanding we have to fight over it lol. Honestly saying though, these character exclusion scenes are actually great for different types of bonding we have so far, and now that the guys are missing along with MVP Hachimitsu lol, the girls hang out with Kamiya for some reason. Yeah, they spotted her in the mall and asked her to join in. Surprisingly, these two ex-love rivals were nice to each other, getting each other gifts from the arcade, Nekozaki doesn't even know this is a trash fire or a trash fire which got dumped into the ocean. Hey, you tell me, author. *giggles* What is clear though is that Kamiya isn't like herself in school as many in school would've shunned her compared to Nekozaki herself who is always nice enough to ask her to hang out even though it ends up in a rejection- WHY IS THIS ANIME TALKING ABOUT ME? *laughs* (I apologize to my bro for asking me out every time and I just say no because I rather do this blog post lol) But seriously though, if being herself is playing arcade games and basketball with Shikimori and winning, it's no wonder I have to hang out with my friends more- Nope. Nope. *laughs* Anyways, pretty obvious who was the one that changed her thinking to be more like herself instead of putting on a farce in front of schoolmates, and maybe at that point, just maybe, Nekozaki will know more about the stuff happening between Kamiya and the person who changed her - Izumi. *laughs* All in all, Shikimori has done more to herself than others to prove that she is not just cute and it's not wrong, she is making waves on the people around her who fear for her jealousy (lol) or just want to see her more pissed just because of the guy she likes. Continuing from last week, this week we took a break from the latest hits and continue our journey into some artists we have heard from that recent live festival video. Okay I legit had to look the band name up to know its abbreviation but Kami wo Saikoro wo Furanai's major debut album is not just long because of their band name (lol) but also long as it contains the length of two full album and NONE of them hit me- Okay they did somehow, but not until I gave the others because Creepy Nuts' album from last year is somehow better with hip-hop styles to make you think otherwise because why did I not like them but I liked those artists who sang theme songs for Anime "BLEACH" like Takacha I don't know, and Humbreaders' album from last year I swear I rejected last year and I guess I still ended up giving a couple of songs DAMMIT *laughs* So yeah, as you can see, dear "KamiSai" isn't that hot compared to these two. No really, I don't even know they are dabbling more in Pops or Rock music. *laughs* Oh yeah and Ryokuoushoku Shakai got into the ranks of Klassic Note Collection because I liked the one song I didn't give two years ago. You're welcome, RyokuShaka- See THIS name I remember. *laughs*

I don't know what is news and what's not news for Klassic Note on Twitter now so forgive me if some of them don't sound like it, KANA-BOON's new song will be for Anime "BORUTO" series, Rie fu released her new song for her upcoming album which is a live exclusive so we shall see when we can get that on streaming hopefully by this year lol, Scenarioart's new album trailer is out and I tell you I can't be more hyped for next week they are so so underrated, GLIM SPANKY's new album artwork hasn't really changed much it's just the background colour difference if you remembered their previous album in 2020, Kitou Akari released another live video on YouTube based on fan vote so I don't know if I've liked this before or not haha I'm not true fan I'm sorry, Toyota Moe revealed her original album thus announcing her solo artist debut for her 10th year as a voice actress and revealed a demo song on the livestream on Saturday so feel free to join her Discord (yep) to find out more, and Miyawaki Shion's new album in years was released this week but only in physical so think Rie fu above too and with a new music video so I wonder when we can get our hands on this because it's not bad at all I just don't have the money to buy CDs anymore after Anime bankrupted me for the past month. *laughs* 

So next week, finally the wait is over, we have Scenarioart's new album lined up! And yes I double-checked they will be NO competition against this fantastic band where I hope to be disappointed at release (lol) and THEN pick up the pace and talk about how great they are at their next livestream, if any. And goddamn is Koko-chan's photobook releasing next week. *laughs* Ah hey, I should be glad, me, that I didn't get a signed copy of the book so I can wait for another month for goodness also lest the Internet spoil it for me, but we all know this is going to be disappointing anyways considering we just saw TWO photobooks which showed more skin than our dear Kohara Konomi will show EVER. *laughs* So much for 30 years old, huh.
