I see that as I look at my profile picture and am recently reminded to take more passport sized photos for official purposes. Just a little, even just a little, do I see myself looking like anyone else living a normal life. But it is also so, that I do not care or are already hopeless on my image, which probably made this a lot harder to swallow for the people around me including myself. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate myself.

The Entertainment News '23 Issue #09
So yeah happy birthday Kana-chan and how many years of Anime you have given me
so much so my bro fears of me just talking about it lol, and might as well if

アニメ Kyokou Suiri
Ah so yep, what did I mention from last week? Call me famous detective, dude. *laughs* Okay in this new episode where we talk about Pinocchio haha (#KyokouSuiri19), so yeah we conclude the mystery behind old man Zenta and his supposed creation of a doll which ruined the town. Hmm, there's quite a few stuff we can talk about and Kotoko-chan isn't lying too much about it to an old woman, so let's. Firstly, about the mysteries of the stone stuck to the tree. So surprises from last week lol I predicted it anyways, some stone specifically a meteorite was stuck to a scared tree and obviously Zenta thought this will be a good time to test his wood sculpting skills lol, so he brought it back home to carve a doll out of it. Ironically then, this thing sort of awakened and starts causing havoc for the people and spirits alike, which definitely is a problem. But what is not expected from me is, that this is all it can do. Which brings us to the next point, that this doll was not meant to kill. Yes, despite ruining all the sea life, it was not meant to kill anything human. Because in due time the citizens would have thought of how to stop it or found out that it roams at night, and would, unlike Tae-san who didn't really care, set up a trap to stop this doll from causing problems. You know, maybe even buy a Faraday's cage to stop the electricity if we don't have a Kuro-san to deal with it. Kotoko may have made this sound easy, but doing whatever the youkai and her have thought out of might be hard for a bunch of old people in a fishing village, so whatever at least these spirits came in to help. And last but not least, which is the whole point of this doll's creation, that is all it can do because it wasn't meant to be strong in the first place. I would assume the meteorite just amplified that power or even bestowed the doll that power, but it could not do otherwise after the trap was triggered, and it wasn't too hard to find out that the doll was NOT Zenta's grandson. That's the point, if you want to make a cursed doll you do NOT put your loved ones on it. So apparently, Zenta placed the people he hated and/or resented over the incident namely the four college students who got let off easily over causing of the grandson's death... and Tae-san the old woman apparently, probably because of her own association to such events and how she is so old she isn't... dead... yet. *ahem* Moving on lol, and thinking that even just scraping off the names from the wood would cause them harm even ever slightly, I don't even anything will happen to weakling me even if you put my name on it lol because, as we have also mentioned above in previous episodes, Zenta was too nice to put such a potent curse on others. That's how far his benevolence got him, over the grudge of his loved ones. So yeah, sadly the rich family college students did not get their funerals, the villagers did not get a bad rap since they did not indirectly kill four youngsters AND an old woman haha gotta remember that, and the doll would be dealt with any way this goes. So yeah, probably weaker than that sumo wrestler start of this second season, but as you can see, it's just more of Kotoko thinking out of the box. Also, this is likely the most truthful she has been in the cases so far, not having more to say after they are done. We are reminded of the final arc of this season soon enough, as we are reminded of Rikka-san who can still do weird things even though unlikely she has came by this fishing village away from the city, doesn't mean she isn't plotting something behind the scenes. I really wonder what will up the level of Steel Lady Nanase; We shall find out soon."But meteorites are just meteorites." Yeah dude I studied astrology and know they are just rocks lol

Ah hey our favourite villain group is back!! Haha I can't say which member I like most but Elise-chan. *laughs* No really, Ten-chan isn't the point Mori Ougai is just based lol, but yeah in this new episode (#BungouStrayDogs45) expect 100% more Port Mafia intervention in this because damn, did the entrance of I forgot his name again Chuuya look way more impressive than we think. And yeah, sword can't deal with guns... well bullets, if there are enough of them so yay they managed to escape. Well, maybe not Kenji lol he got stabbed real good I may be wrong in thinking that the sword can't do anything but yeah it might be a good way to cling on to the flying machine, and as the Hunters make their way in, Kunikida made a wise(?) choice by letting the others live while he clings back on to the sword extending Hunter I don't remember his name, and kept a bit of his notebook for a last resort. Don't guess if he's fine he is most likely fine as long as the other one is too they are not ordinary humans anyways, so let's figure out what happened with the Agency people at Port Mafia's hideout. Damn I love seeing Mori Ougai again you bet it's not because of his Ability that I like by the way lol, and he talked about two things which Chuuya also mentioned part of. Firstly, he will be hiding them for a week while hell is going on outside, but the condition with Fukuzawa is that one of the members will be joining Port Mafia. I wonder if Dazai counts in this case lmao because damn that is technically cheating, but it's the second thing that he lied about. Because next up, Fukuzawa's condition for this trade was that Yosano-san can not be the in this trade. Because yeah, then the Agency will be done and dead. Literally, she is the lifeline, but also, wink wink, looks like we are lying to include her in the deal becauseshe was worked under Port Mafia too. Heck, who from the Agency is NOT an ex-employee at Port Mafia, bro. *laughs* Oh yeah I guess Atsushi. Last but not least though, it's less important from Mori's side but it's still important to all of us, our Ability eraser Dazai is held up by the military. Which then transferred to the Department of Justice, and blah blah Dazai somehow ended up in the same "prison" as Fyodor who is of course still orchestrating all of this from behind the scenes. Yeah haha Dazai with the 200IQ plays here but yeah he did deal with Fyodor previously too if you would recall. Spirit buddies already, these two, probably more than Dazai with anyone else I'm sorry Chuuya lol. They also bonded with each other while in prison too so that's nice. You picked up the soap too? *giggles* That's a prison joke no one will understand haha, so moving on we talk about Atsushi. Thinking about it he isn't too smart but kudos to him escaping with Kyouka-chan and being safe for now, he thought of asking for the American Ability users for help. Ironically when they arrived, they were attacked by one of their mates who likely is on the Angel's side now who then barely escaped when negotiations fail with his ex-leader? Haha how ironic, really. Anyways, Fyodor tipped his ally off as much as Dazai tipped Kyouka-chan off so thank goodness no one was killed in the process, but I won't say much about what Atsushi can do to save the world of more deaths. Francis suggested the revival of one of his members, one we have not seen for a while, and boy did Margret remind me of a certain fight with the weretiger to be honest so HELL YEAH BRING KANA-CHAN BACK WHAT A GREAT TRADEOFF I WILL DO ANYTHING lol happy birthday my dear. *giggles* I mean, I would do it just for her. *laughs* Anyways, Atsushi eventually went with the condition, but this is when Mori knows of the big bomb that is about to fall upon their organization by helping out the Agency. Because ignoring Atsushi's stupidity lmao, we already know Francis is likely not on their side, and Mori hasn't exactly chose which member from the Agency to be on his side yet, so they might not want to meet up after all. *giggles* All in all... hey say I don't like Port Mafia enough. *laughs* Yep, as always Mori Ougai is the smartest haha don't tell Fukuzawa-san please lol and that maaaaaybe we don't listen to the damn Americans about the deal. Or trap, whichever you think sounds better. Yeah, Francis also did use Atsushi's weakness of seeing people in suffering as a trade even though the deal was supposed already off as the weretiger knew to not let people kill each other but he's just getting used again. Yup, guess who's the idiot now. *giggles* So yeah, much more brain plays apart from the Dazai and Fyodor ones, and as we continue to see Yokohama burn also getting so many people involved, it would be interesting to see what moves the story on, or if we even need story since it's all controlled by that one dude. Gotta say though, having that ikemen in the same class again will have its merits because no one will see Amane going down on Mahiru- Haha who am I joking they are just friends. *laughs* In this new episode where oh yeah we are at the new year of school now (#OtonariNoTenshiSama08), yeah guess whether Mahiru and Amane are in the same class now. *giggles* No surprises there for starters, and as Amane's social circle blooms in school even with the ikemen of the class joining his gang just because, we can but wonder why we still can't get Mahiru into the group. And she thinks of that too, so while she continues to pat Amane's head after a day of school lol why don't I get that too I only have video games lmao, she keeps thinking that she is giving back less to Amane then he is to her. To be honest though? Yeah, maybe? I mean, this guy keeps accidentally (lmao) buying her stuff from the arcade though I swear he just thought of which ones to play already or else it'll all be alien plushies or something haha, and since they aren't by accident this means he really takes care of this neighbour who just happens to want to help him with his meals. This week is really not much as I take a break from listening to new songs, but that doesn't mean I've not been listening to the newest songs. Just... you know, I won't give them because they have a pending release date in the near future. *giggles* We'll talk more about those next paragraph with the Twitter news, so let's talk about amazarashi's new single. It's not impressive, don't worry, he can't get me like it's 2016 lol don't ask me why, but the song for Anime "NiER" even if I didn't watch the (shortened) music video is not bad, so I just gave it.音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Well, let's proceed to more news on Twitter that are about music because we need more new releases to come in to be honest. Very, very tempted to just listen to anything that drops, but no, we stay rational. Also, indie. But ignoring those first, let's talk about what happened online. Amamiya Sora's new song for her upcoming mini-album is out now and will have a music video reveal next week so I'll be waiting for that to give an opinion. SIX LOUNGE's new single is finally confirmed to release in a month so that's good news. Nowadays I'm just glad for a release date, really. Kroi's new music video is kinda alright which makes me think I can give their new EP in a month so we shall see about that when it comes. Homecoming's new album is releasing in April with a confirmed release date so let's see if they can get more on my list. SCANDAL's new song will release in two weeks and is a new song for almost a year so let's see if the credit will make it stand out. KANA-BOON's new single releasing next week is as confusing as I expect, but going from the website it's just a revival of their single a decade ago? Okay, too much information I can't even. Aimer's new single teaser is promising but we are a week away so let's not think too much. SPYAIR's guitarist UZ is releasing songs solo and I don't think I'll be keen on that so I'm going to move on, it's not Rock anyways. Fuchigami Mai's new new single is slated to release end April which also finally got a release date or else how am I going to know if your boyfriend in that music video is real. *laughs* Okay this is actually interesting and sudden because I swear they having their acoustic live in three months, but SPECIAL OTHERS is releasing songs 25th of every month until October's album release which is a lot to digest but yeah they are printing out
So for next week, we are starting the week strong with a bunch of releases some of which I've been waiting for years already. Aimer's new single I hope will be a killer release for the year but I'm not going to hold my breath she is married already. *laughs* Jokes over, so let's see if she can hold up. Taketatsu Ayana's new single is also a fingers crossed as I've heard of the music video and am not impressed, but hey I've given enough idolism for the year maybe I don't give this. *silence* Moving on, and last but not least I would say Yogee New Waves' new EP will need to carry the can this week. I've not heard of anything and I really want this to impress, so I'm going in blind on this. Give me the feels I want again, guys, I really could use some right now.
I was just listening in to Kanno Mai's Instagram live just now (her first this year, thought she is done because of her radio podcast) and was just listening through the songs she sang acapella, and boy did she hit a streak of songs I know of. We went from RyokuShaka to Teshima Aoi to Ray from 2014 if you know of Anime "Nagi no Asukara" it brings back memories. *giggles* Yeah we need to record when's the next highest combo for her song selections to coincide with mine. Okay, highest is 3 now. *laughs* Cya guys then haha, I hope you have been enjoying last week's slew of posts as much as I do, and until next time I will probably still ponder on why I signed up for Kana-chan's fanclub. The Three Candles Plan
Okay first, you buy a cake. Then, ask the counter if they have birthday
candles. Buy 3 of them. Bring the cake back home. See if you have a lighter
around- Haha you think I'm going to describe this process 30 years in? Get a
life dude lmao
What I will do though, is talk about my step-by-step process for change from
here on specifically on novelties, actually. So welcome back to another
non-descript post where I talk about what I have made changes in my already
stay home life and actually contribute to the world out there while still
pursuing the stuff I want to do moving forward. It has been so long, after
all. I will not deliberate further, let's get to it!

THE IDEA
So far in my pathetic life lol okay I will stop that we are trying to be
positive here, I've only been living a life of coming back home from work and
just binging on YouTube or even re-watching YouTube clips and/or watching
Twitch archives every night because I just want to take breaks and not think
too much after work. Sadly, that has not made my nights any more interesting
as I constantly miss the world out there in Japan, and it's also not helping
me on my Japanese since I'm choosing not to listen them on a regular basis.
Also, recently in the past couple of years, due to the rise of purchasing
physical goods from Japan and the now necessity of paying taxes of stuff I
bought, it would be wiser to focus more on digital purchases which would
otherwise remove that footprint and not accumulate stock at home which is of
course, taking up much space. Therefore, the objective of this list of plans
is to achieve all of not any the following:
- To move away from "easy" and "addictive" entertainment, and not just watch YouTube all day
- To focus on purchase of items from Japan with lesser physical footprint
- To gain more knowledge relevant to what I actually am interested in, through getting involved in more content from the (female) voice acting (idol) industry
- To listen to more varied Japanese music instead of sinking on popular or idol music
- To play more video games per year instead of just watching people play
We will talk about how to achieve most of these in a bit, and how my progress
on these have been so far, but suffice it to say that overall I really just
want to ignore all the boring stuff and/or stuff I really am too nonchalant of
and focus on the things I want to support. Not everyone will keep to that, but
I want to stay true to the things I like. That's entertainment, after all,
whether you subconsciously know about it or not. The idea is also about
paying: I've spent enough years NOT paying for content, and either I shall or
I will be around them as much as I am able to afford time to. That's what I
think is support today.
THE PLAN
From here on, I stay more than committed to the following things I would do on
a regular basis, at this point let's say with weekly progress. Let's talk
about them individually. Boy, is this going to be a long one.
I'll split each of them into two sections: The ideal/planned state
which is where I want to achieve, and the current state which is
where I am now. And if I've not started on it then current will just be empty,
just so you know. "Did not start" doesn't mean "have not achieved", thanks.

[1] Revive APoL
If you have not known, I have a personal novel project I have been working on
since... halfway through my middle/secondary school? Yeah, so around 2008, I
came up with the idea of writing about life but through the choice of power.
It's not the next Harry Potter, and obviously my English writing is not great
as you can see from just up till here to be honest *laughs*, but I am
committed to writing stories my way. In recent years though, ever since I
started work almost 5 years ago, I've not touched this story much. But now
that I am bent on getting this going, I will talk about what I will do moving
forward.

And I can tell you, the publishing part is going to be rough. I still have not
garnered any courage to list my story online for the world to see, as much of
it is still in private sites I host. We shall see though, if I can refine my
writing and storytelling enough to achieve that. But first, I gotta start
writing on what happened in Chapter 16 with the introduction of a new
character pivotal to the story arc. *giggles* No more spoilers, I gotta get to
writing. And then if I really don't want to do this I can sketch out an
overview for anyone who will want to continue my so-called legacy. I already
know what I want based on (spoilers) Anime I've been exposed to around that
time.
[2] Play New Video Games
Yeah, not bullsh*t talk with just buying games to support indie developers
which is what I did for the past few years, dude, we gotta play them. I think
I've gotten enough of just watching people play video games, and especially
popular games because
who gives a f**k about Hogwarts Legacy
haha so instead since I've always loved to play simulation games and am keen
to support indie developers on their work, since I've enlisted GOG.com to do
this task for me, and as their library grows and more new games appear there,
I'll be playing more games more often.

So far I've already played a handful of games but not yet completed them,
because this is still subject to the other new rule I've slapped on myself:
switching games every month. Even if I do not complete them, I can move on to
another. Or more like, if I want to move on, then I HAVE to finish these games
in a month. They are normally not very long in story, and they are achievable
if it isn't role-playing, for example, simulation games can get dry real
quick, so ending those and moving on isn't that hard. It's more like if I can
achieve the balance on those or not. By the way, this month's game which I
barely started over the weekend was "Indoorlands", a miniature theme park game
which isn't doing well on reviews, but I had a ton of fun in it. It's good ol'
theme park simulation, dude. What else can I ask? Yeah something better than
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, I know. *giggles* Next up will likely be "Spiritfarer"
as I've forgotten the story long enough for me to want to play it and cry I
guess. *silence* I don't cry on people dying lmao don't cancel me pls
[3] Listen To More Japanese Voice Actresses' Podcasts
Ah okay NOW we are at the bulk of the conversation here. *laughs* If you are
still unaware just walking into this blog I call my personal haven haha, you
might have noticed I am super intrigued by the idea of the voices behind
Anime, specifically if they are female. Call me a dirty hetero male lmao, but
yeah, over the past decade and a half I've learnt to appreciate them more, and
with the idolism sub-genre growing on this industry, it's natural to see more
of them having some dedicated slot to read fan mail and talk about the stuff
they do. Fans naturally gather to witness more inside stories and/or
screw-ups, so I truly am missing out. So, for now, I'll focus on listening to
their solo podcasts, because this is a good way to test if I can get used to
listening to them talk for half an hour minimum, AND the content they talk
about lol I tell you some people only like to talk about work and not
themselves so I am very wary of how dull those can be in the long run.

Okay, the limitations in this are aplenty, so let's see if I can cover them
all. Firstly, listening format. Not ALL of them will be ready to listen on Day
1. For example, Minase Inori's podcast airs on Sunday nights... but on Japan's
AM/FM radio "Bunka Housou" which is not available for the Internet. Another one I know of is "radiko"
which is also a radio station in certain parts of Japan, of course including
capital Tokyo. Fortunately, there are archives of these so we might still be
able to catch them, but as you can see this will be a challenge I've yet to
find a solution to listen in live. In addition, most of the ones I will
mention in a bit will be either on YouTube as Japan finally acknowledges the
reach of the platform,
Niconico Live which
is Japan's YouTube which concept of floating comments across the viewing
screen has been stolen by China's Bilibili platform, and less known is Bunka
Housou's Internet bretherin "Cho A&G+" which allows me to catch a lot of the podcasts there. (Trust me, these are
all very daunting a decade ago for me) Many of them have schedules and/or
subscription lists I can follow so it isn't too bad so far. Moving on, there
is also the irregular programs will also pop up from time to time, and worst
off, they do not have a fixed timing and will announce their next simulcast
and/or live (typically the latter) whenever, and not like I will have the time
after work sometimes literally at dinner time due to the time zone differences
(here is 1 hour behind Tokyo), so I may just miss out on these if my schedule
got caught up with others, especially if in conflict. Maintaining all these is
actually harder than you think, because you will need a lot of collated
knowledge to know when and what is happening online, and boy, is Twitter not
the best place for all of them. Which is why I had to spend some time to
collect all the information I know, and list them here! Don't worry, the ones
here are just for the purpose of this post, where I will also explain for a
bit the terms and the podcasts themselves and what they are.
We will need some definitions right here, so I'll try to explain them all,
keyword being try:
- First half free - A concept to bait people into subscribing into their channels for a fee, eg. an hour podcast can be free for half an hour and paid for the other half, where of course the latter will have more relevant content and former be just reading fan mail and doing PR. The Seigura Niconico Channel is known for such a tactic.
- Alternating weeks - As per definition, the podcast will be aired every 2 weeks, and the issue here is this can be categorized into two factions; Either referred to as "airing every other week" which is dependent on which week it originally started on (eg. aired last week, next will be next week) or "airing in certain weeks" which is now dependent on which week number of the month it airs on. (eg. Week 2 of February 2023 is considered to be on the week of Valentine's Day)
- Simulcast vs Live - Each podcast has their own relevancy with respect to their broadcast timing. Some will choose to air at late night but not require their talents to do it live, so it will be pre-recorded and aired for the first time where people will tune in regularly known as a simulcast, similar to TV shows. Some will air live though, even with video content on special occasions or straight up as regular, nowadays taking it to YouTube for higher quality and audience reach compared to Niconico though with a more interactive comment system.

[4] Increase Digital Purchases
This I think I've mentioned earlier in the post and I guess this is
essentially what I'm achieving here, if I can choose not to buy a physical
version of anything if it's available in digital, I will now go for digital
editions if possible, giving money to the idea of renting items through
Internet services (in case you don't know what capitalism scheme you signed up
for lol) instead of physically possessing them, potentially taking up space.

The best example I can give you is photobooks. If any photobook is available
through say, Amazon Kindle (Japan) because that's my best friend since 2 years
ago lol, I can just buy those to support them which I recently did with
marupi's photobook
she did for a gravure magazine Shupure. *silence* Maybe I shouldn't have said
that but you have seen the bikini shots on her social media accounts so what
else is new. *laughs* Others like the taking photos for each other photobook
series "Seiyuu Tomosha!" with
Suguta Hina's
released recently and upcoming Kido Ibuki's (hehe) I'm just glad I don't have
to buy more books in hopes that a digital version of it will appear some time
later.
For mobile and/or video games it's the same principle, but that for now is
still based on my years with the game, and I will NEVER give a game money
straight off just to progress, namely for aesthetic purposes mostly. I don't
believe in pay to win, by the way. My only success case now is with "Dead of
Alive: Venus Vacation" also known as DOAXVV. I've only paid money for pay-only
birthday
gacha which
ignoring the results of the roll, are guaranteed extra items to be included in
the game itself, not affecting gameplay. (Yes, I don't want any of us to be
reminded of "Alternative Girls", thanks. *sob*)
And moving on, I hope I can keep this up but damn did I ruin that for the year
already lol, apart from CDs and bromide photos, anything physical I buy will
so far be limited to photobooks, the first of any single person reviewed, so
if say Kitou Akari released another photobook recently I am obliged to not buy
it again since I bought her 1st back in 2020. And I also know it will be
released in digital thanks to their publishing firm Seigura, which will ensure
this to appear in the future. That is if the Internet doesn't spoil everything
for me first. *wink*
[5] Devote to Fanclub Subscriptions
Of course, in addition to buying digital content, I've made a declaration to
follow voice actresses and of course subscribe to as many fanclubs as possible
as the most direct way to support the ones I like. Trust me, if you buy
anything from them they don't get the full amount. I won't say much for
fanclubs but at least I don't have to buy stuff or get anything physical back
which will stay true to my vision for supporting more digital content as
mentioned earlier. There is an exception to this though, because Inorin's
fanclub "Inori Machi" is the only one which ships newsletters and even
greeting cards physically on a regular basis, so there goes my wallet for
shipping fees every time they send me stuff. *laughs* Oh, and this also
extends to now Niconico channels which require a paid subscription more often
a times, to watch the full livestream and/or podcast. My only example is Kanno
Mai for now. *giggles* Regardless, let's talk briefly about what I've seen so
far. The recent streak comes from
getting all the married ones in this year haha yeah their fanclubs are
still running by the way. People like married women and it's not me *dabs*

Well, as you can see for this part it's just giving the money especially even
on a yearly basis, and we'll enjoy the benefits immediately. The registration

did you remember how I got into Rieri's fanclub? Haha if I have to do it again
then I'll have to ship the physical item releasing in April just to register

Oh hey we are literally jumping from one post to another haha I told myself I
bear the consequences for lining all of these up in one day and I'm sorry for
complaining about how I should be getting the photobook earlier, but hey, this
time around we are talking about music! Something decent now haha is this
decent though? Not till I'm done with Kana-chan and Sumipe, I won't. *laughs*
So yeah, we are lined up with two singles to start the year in Klassic Note.
Not exactly expected but ironically not unexpected so I'm just glad we can
start off with some recognition to these two artists in some sort of fashion
considering I have plenty of history with these women. *giggles* Okay jokes
aside, let's talk about what's new in Anime!
Oh totally, this is THE Valentine's Day gift for me this year. Guess who I
chose as my Valentine. *silence* I can't choose married women lol also Sumipe
for THAT BANGING BODY-

Hanazawa Kana - Dramatic Jakanute mo [Single]

incoming fetish that'll get me into trouble so I'll take it on surface value)
Origin: Wow has this been so many years in the making. Firstly, if you have
not known about famous Japanese voice actress Hanazawa Kana, don't go out
telling others you know Anime. For her popularity goes above most of them, she
is known for her distinctive soft yet aborable voice in the array of
characters she has played over almost a decade and a half when I knew her back
in 2008, and she has never been disappointing ever since. For music though,
despite starting her solo music career in 2012 and only recently has she
changed music labels to now PONY CAYON (which houses Kitou Akari, Taketatsu
Ayana etc.), she has not been up to a smooth start despite the continued back
up from composer and producer Kitagawa (Katsutoshi, I only remember his family
name) who pretty much decided even her music career back then and in the new
label... until now. This is a single for Anime, not surprising, but what might
be more surprising is how much more depth this release has just being
mediocre, not even impressive. Let's notice this and find out why.
(1) Dramatic Janakute mo [Even If (You Are) Not as Dramatic]

"Even if (you are) not as dramatic, even if (I) lament that (you are) boringAgain today, (you) suddenly surfaced (in my mind)Even if romantic words are missing it's fine, that's why(I) mutter to stop time, even if for a bit..."
For starters, this is as simple of a melody as this can get. Not surprising
for the Anime it was featured in I shall not elaborate more, but maybe it's
because of that, it gave off more of a softer feel than your usual Pop song,
which I guess isn't all too bad after all. Coupled with the hot and cold
lyrics similar to the feels of Anime "Kubo-san" and their main female
character (to who she also voices), it really gives this song the personal
touch with respect to its credit, I have to say. Being the opening theme
artist and main character? This is actually her first, and likely why this
presents her a new opportunity to stand out among the crowd, contrary to the
Anime's theme of being unnoticeable. This might have helped her created the
much needed impression for her music career. Just ignore the usual quirks like
the bridge part, and you'll be fine, totally.
Rating: Outstandingly Below Average
(2) Groovy Mystery Train
From second chorus:
"Let's go out to discover, the groovy music fighterHey, face forwardDo not stop! (Do a) High Five(As often) As you like"
Don't ask me why this is the title of the, I guess, groovy song, but hey, at
least in the lyrics of this rather short song, Hanazawa Kana-chan herself got
it in the bag. Yes, this is the artist's once in a blue moon lyrics
composition, singing about the adrenaline rush and being on and adventure that
awaits ahead, it might even be hard to keep up. The arrangement of this song
despite with the same composer running the mill definitely helped in making
this pop out as an interesting B-side as it caught my attention first when I
heard of the preview before the full song was out. For that, along with cheeky
background vocals also by Kana-chan, are probably convincing enough for me to
like this song. It might have an abrupt end though, which I would say adds in
to the uniqueness of the melody.
Rating: Quirky Average
Conclusion: This is quite a harsh talk about a Hanazawa Kana single, but I
think I'll treat this as their most successful release 10 years coming into
her solo music career. I just think this single deserves praise. As I rock on
the B-side and think of the A-side, I still think this is quite an interesting
release to give chance to even if you have no idea who the artist is. Oh, if
you are her fan though, then by all means embrace this as her best achievement
in getting credit for her songs out there. For we have waited this long, just
a decade long, for her to be recognized of her singing since I guess you know
that song from the Monogatari series. No more that, we rockin' this single
now.

Uesaka Sumire - LOVE CRAZY [Single]

(If you need a reason to like Uesaka Sumire and her gothic artist style like
me, then you might as well take the Anime character. Not close-ups though.)
Origin: This must be a second miracle we are talking here. As I joke about how
I have already given two Uesaka Sumire singles in full with the previous one
from 2017, I question myself how much I'm keen on listening to this specific
voice actress' quirks as she embarks on another season of an Anime series
featuring her as a
tsundere but
more importantly, aggression becoming her personality with this release
itself. The series didn't catch me much to be honest, but as she again sings
the opening theme song, things are about to change. As much as the songs
Sumipe sings are just as weird as her and we will get to that later, somehow
coming from her it makes her music career all the more unique since it can be
unforgiving as it can be fantastic. And this one falls into the latter, I
would argue.
(1) LOVE CRAZY
From first chorus:
"Hey, look hereJust a little bitDon't be embarrassed(Your) eye and lovePile them upMaybe (you) will understand something?Hey, come on!!Don't run awayHave come courageDaringly(Come after) me (Catch me)It's not (a) jokeHey, tell (me) about (your) true feelings... Just joking"
This song title totally holds this song all the way, and we are only talking
about the melody. The janky Rock style and very insinuating lyrics help
amplify the power of this song to how much to and from the girl in this
relationship has to desperately yet passively hit on the guy to get him to
fall in love with her, the theme for the Anime is definitely passed through
with emphasis and with force. I can't really complain how one would dislike
this unless you can't get the feels in this song. The lyrics paint a very
accurate picture of push and pull of love especially in the chorus, which only
makes this icing on the cake so much sweeter as backed up by the aggression of
music behind. I can truthfully say this has perfected the Anime theme song
formula down and true to its roots as this will be a instant favourite among
those who have gave this a listen.
Rating: Crazily Impressive
(2) REBELLION
From first chorus:
"Riding on the cheers that won't stop ringing as (I) singTo protect my loveThe battle is still just starting, (it's) still going onLet's deliver this oath from the front line"
As far as I know I walked in only knowing that this is a theme song for some
upcoming video game, but damn is it actually good. The melody does hit on
point, it has a slightly unusual style compared to the first song to make sure
they don't clash, and it's catchy enough for anyone to get on to it. Maybe a
little rap may have offset the pace at this song delivers, but I have to say
it isn't too bad in my opinion after all, of course with the usual bridge part
issue. The lyrics paint a strong feel towards a rebellion with drive as shown
in the title and with someone to protect, it's definitely a song I've expected
Sumipe to sing as a music artist. It's that good.
Rating: Positively Above Average
(3) Michi ga Wakaranai no Uta [Song About (An) Unknown Path]
From first chorus:
"Forever inside a spiralPouring out in the desert of timeThe two (of us) can never meetTorn apart by a song of fateDear grieving universe, embrace meLead me to (offer as) sacrifice"
Oh yeah this is the 90s style melody I've been waiting for as usual, and I do
not joke they made sure this is a simple melody to remember. And I would
believe so because of the fact that they had to let Sumipe write the lyrics to
this song. Even with a unique title, one would believe that this song would
bring meaning in its lyrics, but trust me, that only barely holds in the
choruses. The verses tell a different story, as she struggles to write lyrics
that make any sense, but since it's about getting lost, you can see even as an
example, in the second verse she was just describing how to get to Shinjuku,
which is as ironic as it's actually entertaining to listen. Her creativity and
quirkiness to this level still impresses, and I can't say much but to give it
despite being reluctant in the first place.
Rating: Confusingly Average
Conclusion: This single is a good example of what happens if you give good
songs to an Anime artist. You may think I joke like this, but it's hard to
give Uesaka Sumire proper recognition when every other single in her music
career is nothing but traps to music I would rather not listen to. This single
will prove otherwise even if she still prefers such a path, for this level of
craziness is still up my alley, I would rather they do this more often
instead. And if you have not heard of her, this release might be a good time
to give her a chance, since this has everything to cater to your tastes to
make you like her.

Let's go in order, shall we? Kana-chan's single is already different as you
can see from the above, as it's being aligned vertically in the cover instead
of the usual horizontally aligned, but that's not all. We have the Anime
"another jacket" alternate cover embedded within the booklet which featured a
nicely drawn character Kana-chan was featured in haha yes it's Kubo Nagisa I
did not want to name that in my review despite knowing that she is
indefinitely cuter than a married woman- MOVING ON haha, instead of all the
special bromide gifts which are all

so don't ask which one I liked it's all the same damn black outfit as if she
is attending my funeral lmao, I chose her music label PONY CANYON's store

special gift, which suffice it to say I may show this off if I have time, it's
a special photo which can be scanned with an AR (augmented reality) mobile app
"COCOAR2" which, if I'm not wrong, allows you to see a miniature something on
top of the bromide. I'm making a guess right here, it's mini
Kana-chan Kubo-san I don't know I'll come
back and prove me wrong but just anything is already worth the trip.
