Sometimes, just sometimes, I wonder if I've robbed someone of their dream for just being alive.

Watching back on Anime movie "JoseeTora" with Kumiko the main girl strapped onto a wheelchair, she has big dreams even though she's stuck at home most of the time. I wonder if for me being physically fit(?), among other things, that I've not done much compared to someone who isn't who will have bigger goals and dreams than me.

Maybe, just maybe that's why, I should be involved in charity more.

Meanwhile, maybe let's get back to that Confidence Man lore picking up where we left off. Yeah, pick up as in that old couple picked up Dorothy washed up on to Chinese Taiwanese shores or something instead of pronounced dead. But who knows, I only watched the trailer. *laughs*

Yeah, gotta show off that action scene again, that's all we got. *giggles* Because in this new episode though we will NOT be talking about action what is that weeb trash anyways haha (#KanaTen07), instead we are talking about what happened afterwards. Hell yeah ANGEL DEMON S*X LETS GO- Hold on a minute, guys, it's not what you think. *laughs* Story goes that because I might as well do a quick summary here, we just defeated whatever possessed that avatar which lives inside Akutsu's seal which is super obvious it's preventing him from going into the public baths (lol), was not supposed to go berserk until we found out it was controlled by a certain someone. Putting that aside at this rate we might as well find out who that is a few more weeks later, but heck, both of them were kinda injured and tired after all this so... I like Akutsu made the right choice(?) of bringing Lily-chan to her place instead of his just in case that purple-haired nut head decided to appear again lmao. Still, he probably didn't have a way to enter in through the door so I assumed he destroyed the lock on the balcony to get her in using some of his demon powers. Be thankful for that I guess, Lily-chan, who told you to live in a private apartment. *giggles* Speaking of, that's also how it's possible for them to do... whatever they were doing haha, namely Lily-chan asking Akutsu to stay so he did and started fantasizing on everything even the sensei and his alternate self started to challenge him into whether he understood women, but turns out all of them don't anyways it's all him, because Lily was definitely saying that on impulse since which tsundere will ever do something and admit they did it? *dabs* Anyways haha, she did recall upon a lot of things though, though even we can't prove a lot of them since Akutsu could have done a piggyback on her back to her place (instead of a prince hug lol), dreamt about whatever he was dreaming of which included the word "hug" (I know right, on the sensei too?? Yeah he is totally gay btw) and led Lily-chan to assume he really had to repay the favour to her servant for helping her out this time? And then he still told her to hurry to do it as Lily-chan was just sitting in front of him under pressure out of someone else's dream? BRUH. *laughs* This can only happen in Anime- Or my own literary work, I do those sometimes. *giggles* But yeah, hugs are great, Lily-chan. No one's going to give that to me though, not even my parents. *silence* Anyhow, this is a fun episode to watch despite it's slower and totally unrelated to the action pace, and well I was thinking when these two (not a couple btw) will get caught by the other classmates so I guess we won't have to wait until next episode to get that at least. *giggles* Though at this point I'm not too sure what the romance antics here are hinting towards, it's definitely great to realize that after so long, that this series really isn't about the war against angels and demons screw that shit haha, and I'll be glad to see the end of this. Maybe we will get some action at the end considering who we are going against, likely the antagonist of the season. See you then.

Oh this just dropped by real quick so let's watch it all at once! Thank goodness we didn't have a four-parter I was kind of worried when I saw the episode numbers on their social media posts. Still, rather excited to watch this sequel of an original Anime series considering they changed from being exclusive on Netflix to DMM don't worry about it, because in this new story (#GREATPRETENDERRazbliuto) hey Dorothy is back!! Well, sorta. Oh, I'm going to refer to her as Dorothy from here on though, not doing that Xiang-Xiang thing this is not "Koukyuu no Karasu" anyways. *giggles* Just be reminded that this new version of Dorothy does not know of her scammer genius past, but she is still genius in that part. Story goes that someone was trying to get her adopted mom to sign a travel package, you know, to keep her company since the old man is gone RIP, but then realized this man (ah) didn't have enough confidence (ah hey) (haha) to pull this off properly, and got questioned by Dorothy real hard, he ended up apologizing for what he did, she even took a photo of his ID just in case he tries something funny to someone else again. This, however, did get the attention of higher authorities considering he may or may not be a lackey for the local mafia (still Chinese mafia, but now based in Taiwan) (it will make sense later while I figure this out, I promise) involving his buddy Jay who is enjoying his life because, wink wink, he is the adopted son of the Chinese mafia's head, Wang. *silence* Ring a bell yet? Don't though if you know what's up, keep that gong away. *laughs* Jay here decided to cover for his buddy who just got his ID snapped by some black... woman... lol I'm sorry girl, then ended up enjoying an afternoon with her and EVEN A NIGHT?? BRO WHY YOU SLAYING PUSS- I know right, compared to his friend he's got all the other big stuff. His build, his- Head, the one thing which included his brain, he slipped and hit it on the bath, ooh that must have hurt. More than s*x- ANYHOW haha, somehow this lack of communication with the dad and the mafia got him into more trouble, leading the mafia to think that Dorothy might have done something to him just because he isn't contactable. Worst off, since Jay got his memory kicked back in in no time (unlike Dorothy *OOF*), he did try to keep his memory loss a secret while still trying to avoid getting spotted by the people who are hunting him down? Yeah, they are going to think it's all Dorothy's fault but it's actually Jay doing his 200 IQ moves which honestly is valid, just that the others ALL thought this woman abducted him or something for him to be uncontactable. Get it? Drama!! *giggles*

And so, this brings us to a trip into getting out of the country (of Taiwan, if you need a reminder) into Kyoto which *wink wink* will make this storytelling much easier and don't ask me why I don't know where Laurent and his guys are based at *laughs*, but suffice it to say it was wise for Jay to make sure his buddy and Dorothy are out of the place so he can get caught and not worry about the others being implicated. Which isn't wrong in his perspective (because I will for now not talk about how Dorothy is still fully protected all this time) as he learns to take down the people trying to hunt him down while still being able to hold his helm and get his acquaintances to help him out like Bingyan who likely is on his side even though she is the one talking to the bosses around here, and Lin who did bail him out on several occasions while still listening to his boss Tsai who seriously does not give a damn unless it's about drugs. *laughs* Though he is still caught by his dad in the end, Jay did play along good enough even with a GPS tracker on his possession which he could've thrown away. (Dorothy, problem is if you throw it away they will hunt you down, but keeping it and then going the wrong way will buy you time)

Last but not least, let's talk about the unveiling of this scam and the betrayal. In case you have been following closely on Wang's side as much as Bingyan had *wink*, you would know that he is due to do somewhat of a representative investment (I don't know what you call that, I don't dabble in investments tbh) in Singapore (I don't know what you call that, I don't-) (JOKES!! Haha) which I assume isn't small amount or else why would Laurent give a damn. *laughs* But yeah, don't let the story fool you too fast, but it did take some time before Wang did manage to snatch a broker who would do this deal in place of Cynthia- Oops. *giggles* But it wasn't until Wang realized that the people around him can't be trusted including old ones who are probably wiser than him especially when Tsai being candid about the investment being suspicious and all. Too bad the boss made a special visit to his place, and now Tsai is dead in a sea of white powder. *silence* I mean, kill people you don't trust, right? Like, does Wang know he has been duped before to try to trust his underlings on their instincts? BRUH. *laughs* Turns out he was mighty and in control even so, as Jay surrenders himself to his dad by nightfall because he didn't manage to get Dorothy back just because he couldn't contact his buddy (because their phone was stolen constantly lmao) (which led them to that African café which I'm sure Laurent knows it's Dorothy's favourite *giggles* ah hey) but also, that Jay didn't intend to surrender himself anyways. Ironically, Dorothy did appear though to drag some time in, but what?? SHE GOT SHOT?? Haha I know right, Edamura got shot with the same bullets so many times too. *giggles* Anyways, and this is where Wang fell short, where (1) his son Jay will never concede to whatever his dad does of course also knowing this empire might be in better hands that isn't Wang and his only hand lol gottem, and (2) Bingyan was also a traitor which I almost thought it was Abby or Cynthia in disguise haha that would've be funnier ngl, and (3) Wang's empire is probably all wiped clean by now considering he put all his money to invest in our glorious nation so that we can continue to be in headlines and in Japanese animation (specifically this series) for years to come. *giggles*

All in all... colour me impressed, because this was indeed awesome! I can't cover all the script unlike Laurent and his gang can *wink*, but I am once reminded of the fantastic overall production value to the storytelling, especially the animation and music, all those years ago. (Is there new soundtrack? I don't know, honestly) (Edit: It's new, can't find names from the credits in the soundtrack) Maybe there isn't enough lore explanation to talk about, like say, how everything is tied together but at least we know now that fat dude's name is Ayi (haha ikr) and as he has explained briefly at the end, you just have to remember who are the real victims who have never seen the script before, and you are good. *giggles* Yeah, hints for people who have not seen the original and don't want to be spoiled. *laughs* Then again coming back to this, I don't think we will ever know about Jay's life now that he likely just gave away his adopted father's empire? And we might not know of the fates of some of them considering Dorothy may have enough deja vu from all of this to remember that all of this that ex-lover did was to protect her, and NOW you are going off with another man maybe?? I don't know Laurent, maybe in the sequel we actually kill Dorothy. *laughs* But yeah, great little sequel that doesn't outstay its welcome, it's no love story or scam drama or Edamame Edamura actually getting duped (lmao) but this is good enough, even for Laurent's standards. I don't have this much confidence (ah) as a man (ah hey) to say this is for everyone, but damn, this gets into me as much as Tsai overdosing on... whatever he is smoking I don't do drugs don't ask me. *dabs* Haha

This is a quiet week in Klassic Note but that's fine, I've got enough of this month already I already have to review two CDs by next month. *giggles* wacci's new single is alright it's not a deal breaker but it's a lot better than I thought, I also gave a B-side which ironically I have listened to last year so that isn't a surprise, since I didn't give the final track on the list which is new and I didn't fancy so no new CD review again, thank goodness. *laughs* Ieiri Leo's new song in collaboration with Asakura Momo (yep not surprised if you know the latter because that's me haha) is kinda meh considering this is written by the former artist which I wasn't interested in anyways, so yeah, will take a skip on this one. Mocho better off singing love songs, you feel me? *dabs* And we don't care about Humbreaders' new album who f**king cares if they don't want to release the full list on music streaming services it's 2024 dude your album trailer is already unimpressive and you play this?? *laughs*

I will start this weekly news update by collating all the winners I've known from an Anison Awards... from last year, from some TV programme just to give you an idea of what counts as Anison doesn't count in Klassic Note just because. *dabs* Anyways, don't agree with a lot of them, but the ones I know? Yes, they are good. Thanks to Niitsu Yui (RYTHEM) who informed me about Tainaka Sachi's recent live, we now know that Tainaka Sachi is releasing a new song next week featuring YUKA-san the vocalist of moumoon which is also a band I've not heard in years, so maybe this might get me back into her, Tainaka that is. She is also revamping her YouTube channel so let's hope that means we can get more music videos on the docket. SPYAIR's new video on THE FIRST TAKE YouTube channel seems to be the new hot sensation right now, garnering views for their new song which has been plenty good I have mentioned that last week, so hopefully they get to ride this high a little longer. Looks like SIX LOUNGE is releasing a new EP in a month (along with live Blu-Ray but who cares about that lol) and that's kind hype considering they released an album just last year, hopefully we get to hear more good stuff from them. Ryokuoushoku Shakai's new music video is a meh but man much of them this past year is that too but they are getting credit from Anime so I shall not complain much, we shall see this when their new single appears in 2 weeks. LUCK LIFE's new teaser video is a sneak peek into their new song releasing next week, and it sounds fine even though it's not much, we shall see about that next week then. This might be over by the time you see this, but w.o.d. aired their last year's live video on YouTube which is available until the end of the week ie. it's over, featuring many songs I know especially on the second half really, so if you did hear of them you can have a look at what they sound like. Yeah, forgetting lyrics though? *laughs* Sangatsu no Phantasia's new music video is definitely more tuned to my tastes this time around for the song it's spring themed too, and yeah, new EP coming or will that be bundled with the novel series you have been writing? Either way, remind me when that happens, will you? *wink* Niitsu Yui's live digest from a camp live in 2015 in preparation of a new one done in the similar camping format sure is interesting and represented the songs from that time when she was still under the name "Neat's", and there are other news from RYTHEM and the two members but heck, I will just touch on this instead. *giggles* SPECIAL OTHERS ACOUSTIC is celebrating their 10th anniversary (ALREADY??) with surprise surprise, a new song 25th of each month leading up to a new album in October (getting deja vu now?) starting with one new song today which isn't too bad, but damn with all these tunes just printed like it's AI now really is getting me worried of their quality. I mean, I'm not complaining, but I wish they would take things slow...er, if you know what I mean. Scarcity, you know? Scenarioart also is celebrating their 15th anniversary today with a few new announcements including a new album due in June so yay more Secnarioart I can't wait, and they released a new live music video to celebrate the occasion too, very reminiscent of their earlier days turning independent label, this is going to be fun. As if the news aren't going to end haha we got more, mol-74's new album will release in May which is as much excitement for me to put them on the ranks this year as much as my worry to even comprehend their album title because damn, I rather it be the percent sign now if you don't mind. *giggles* 

So next week, if I care I will listen to LUCK LIFE's new song and Tainaka Sachi's new song which most likely will be a flop but I would like to be surprised, and if I care more then I will take a listen to spira.spica's new EP featuring just the one vocalist if you would recall she's all that is left of this "band" *ugh* haha, and Fujifabric's new album because we gave that one collaboration song with frederic last year.

The Fanfiction 20240224

Well, it's a hot afternoon out here and my sinus is not in the mood to take a nap yet (lol), so why not do this first? *giggles*

Unlike the weather now and boy how is staying inside an air-conditioned room worse, this week, in celebration of a birthday of a certain someone (which we will do another next week so FYI), we are introducing a new woman into my life! Well, in my fictional life, you know I can't get chicks. *silence* Anyways, this might be too intimate for my own good *giggles*, but also this might need more imagination as much as I have tried, and no, we are not talking about Kana-chan even though it's her birthday tomorrow. *dabs*

You can figure it out, this week I will be talking about...!!

I recalled the first time I had a trip with my cousins years ago, to a summer beach house in Okinawa. Everyone had a great time outdoors, I came back to the abode early to chill. I sat legs crossed on a table with a bowl of oranges, and was reminded by my aunt we were free to eat them. I peeled a couple and ate them slowly. As the sunlight softened and the fan blew a steady breeze on me, I lied down on the tatami floor, closed my eyes while I listen to the scenery of nature, and dozed off.

When I woke up, I felt a piece of blue cloth covering my view and heard someone giggling to my right. I turned my head to see Kouno Marika beside me, with her hands almost touching my face. She was also under the cloth in her skimpy summer wear, looking at me with a smile and squinting eyes.

We stared at each other for a couple of seconds before I realized what was going on and sat up, lifting the cloth behind me. Kouno-san then laughed and ran away.

Before I talk about relationships, let me talk about the above story from Marinka's perspective. It's likely she found out I was missing in action outdoors, found me dozing off on the straw floor, and decided that among all the things she could do, to cover me using her... scarf? And THEN hid below it with me, looking at me sleep??? This can only happen in Anime- Also hard cut to her hiding in a corner in shame of what she just did though?? *giggles* Please, I was the one who was supposed to be shocked at this.

As for my relationship with this woman? The intro might have hinted already, so this will be the second time I am using my cousin lifeline (lmao) to write in someone I do not know where to assign them to into my fictional life. Also because *wink wink* you can accidentally f**k your cousin? *laughs* Oh boy, you DO NOT KNOW how much I want to write that but the only thing that is stopping me is because I can't draw an accompanying thumbnail? *sigh* She might have her own problems but this is fiction so I'll love her the way I know how. *wink*

Damn, if this is how I can help her curb her depression, I wish this lasted forever. *giggles*

P.S. In her birthday fanclub livestream yesterday (which yes, I'm still a member), she mentioned about how the depression was having a toll on her job last year even red traffic lights made her anxious (proper analysis was adjustment disorder) with the passing of her previous cat (RIP), her manager and mom advised her into taking a break to find a way to recover. Yeah, now I feel bad for her, I wish I was there for her, to be honest.

The Twenty-Second Book Worth of Photos: The Semi-Realistic Dream

Well, if it's a dream, might as well go full-on about it, yes? I won't go as far as that dream I had though, that might be too far even for this girl hehe

I don't know if this counts as Valentine's Day gift or my birthday gift (to myself lol), but heck remember when I said a couple of years ago I don't even care about Ogura Yui? Guess that didn't age well. *laughs* And since my hesitation to make this arrive on the former occasion, I guess I shall spend my birthday *giggles* talking about a new photobook! This must be the most trippy thing I did in years since she isn't even in my list of favourite idols lol, but this can't be worse than real life so might as well!! *laughs* I didn't expect to ever give someone a photobook review outside of my own list of idols, but we are running out of firsts to give (lol), so maybe this is the year I actually walk out of my comfort zone.

THE ORIGIN

Shout out to when I took a dump on Ogura Yui about 2 years ago while explaining who she is to my friend and choosing between her and Kitou Akari:

I know right, this is how far I have come. *giggles*

But yes, my decision to talk about this photobook is not just about what this book is based on, but more of giving chance to Yui-chan here as I seem fit. With retrospect, I have never bought a Toyota Moe photobook (yet) it's as if they stopped releasing photobooks, and I followed Moeshi for a longer period of time too. Okay coming back, I have known of Yui-chan from Anime and her solo artist career for years even going as far back as 2017, she sings great not going to lie it's always dependent on the song for me. I did take a fancy to her even all those years ago, but seeing a new generation of female voice actresses appearing in Japan and not exactly being enticed by them (mostly due to lack of Anime credit, nowadays it's more of idolism lifting their mobile game-oriented voice acting careers now), somehow it made me take a step back and care about people I knew from Anime, from Sakura Ayane to Takao Kanon, people who have actually been in Anime more often than the majority. At this point, even reaching towards Ishihara Kaori in recent years with me missing her roles in Anime and her songs, I might as well give all the members of StylipS at this point, signalling more of a renaissance of liking them more as they grow older. And this is a sign I've seen in my own tastes so far as I get older too.

As to how all this started though, I was definitely not impressed when she did her new single last November even with a livestream I did watch because of YouTube algorithms, but shortly after that, she announced a new photobook which I wasn't too keen on it (since she did release a bunch of them when she... was... younger lol), until I saw that this time almost 3 years since her previous photobook, she is doing this while taking a trip to Singapore!

We should be familiar of the city state in the Southeast Asia region and if you don't I might as well give a summary as a loyal citizen I am *dabs*, because *reads propaganda* our strategic location as a trade hub, global financial district and in recent years a tourist destination, definitely helped shape how many people see us on the world stage, even attracting Anime events to be hosted in this very place, with most infamous Marina Bay Sands located in the newly developed city area where it's bringing in ALL the idols. From Uesaka Sumire last year for an Anime festival and eating laksa in the high-end district which probably costed more than my usual lunch and dinner (OOF), to Kitou Akari's recent tour for Anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba" walking around the largest indoor garden with maintenance so high you need to pay to go in? Knowing that Yui-chan is up and around last year is not likely going to get me to hunt her down (lol), but it's at least comforting to know that they have been closer to me than ever before. Distance, I meant physical distance, I don't get chicks and we all know that. *silence*

I did go through quite a process and hesitated quite a lot in order to make this purchase, seeing all that I have going for likely is just talking about my home country, but also on all the store-specific free bromide photos that I've always chased even after all these years, this was no exception. I initially wanted to bundle this photobook with the new voice actress magazine which featured Takahashi Rie and Yomiya Hina in which the latter can reinforce my talk about walking out of my usual list of idols too, but as time went by and stock went out, it was harder to make such a decision considering that the latter has been leaked online already showing rather lack of content (I will still buy on digital though), so I knew to change my plans. Suffice it to say this is a travel photobook, specifically of my home country Singapore (don't ask which town, no one knows anything outside the city area) where everything's a bustling, the place is really colourful because heritage is something we care more than our population racial disparity lmao, and I will never figure out which Marina Bay Sands hotel she lived in. *giggles* All this will make sense in a bit, and we will have captions long enough to do write-ups, but I will try to be concise and show off what Singapore has to offer in views! Yeah, views of Yui-chan included hehe

Okay, definitely not the best book in my list, some of them out there literally just show themselves half-naked anyways. *giggles* Tasteful? Is probably the best way to describe this, and if you are a fan of her than this is technically fanservice though I would argue she does that all the time so this is just supplementary material. I'm just here because I'm just curious. Curious what she visited at my hometown which I know lesser than her now since I don't leave the house. *silence* Curious about her being in familiar places I know of, even if it isn't exactly close to home. But ironically, even the social media posts promoting the photobook had more content to show in comparison, so I can't but help noticing that this is still just a book to cash in more fanservice just because.

Then again, this is pretty much just a travel photobook without interviews and Q&As or whatever, so even if the story isn't coherent and we have some random shots here and there lol, it's still alright. My feels are somewhat close to Koko-chan level, to be honest. I've also grown so accustomed to seeing (Okinawa) (lmao and) a more complete story and/or more extreme shots to make sure you know it's worth the purchase. Not this year though. *laughs*

Somehow this book is still weaker than the dream I had in the alleys of Bugis Street, huh.
