The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #4

Hey.

If you wonder why I posted this late, it's mostly because I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos just now (it just happens, or else I fap) (lol please don't tell anyone else) and also because... I'm waiting for an email before I continue.

And... I'm glad I'm going to graduate this year because I finally registered my final course. Goddamn finally. I've been scared this whole weekend after whatever the heck happened this week. It has been long tbh

アニメ Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
"And that is how I went steady with your father" yeah we wish #DamnYouTakagiSan
If you're chanting to yourself "he's gonna lose" you're not alone haha. In the new episode (#TakagiSan03) (ah I love starting the week maybe with Anime) despite him working out to get abs or to punish himself for whenever he gets teased, he still looks like a final stage cancer patient when he's with girls, especially the one girl lol. Hey, I think Nishikata got hit more times than he should have already, or that he may be setting his bar too high by classifying every time he gets teased as a punishment. Then again, he's going down hard on himself, just like his lack of EQ lol. Takagi too, she's enjoying this for sure, and yeah, I guess it's getting overboard considering she knows how to make use of the boy to satisfy her joy. Really reminds me of how I get teased by classmates when I was a kid. Poor guy. He's going to end up like me lol. Anyways, more focus is also put on the secondary characters, and I like that tbh. From vending machine drinks to sharing an umbrella in the rain, this show's got everything. Now I wish the ending theme is true and we'll see a summer version of this soon. Hey, it does not have to be the same jokes because the guy's an idiot (he probably forgets more when he gets teased than Takagi forgets stuff) and I can totally confirm that, just even through his thinking. I mean, you know one can refrain from answering, stop being a nice guy (offering umbrella), and never trust your instincts until you get tricked. Hey, this episode in a nutshell. I'm not going to hope Nishikata wises up already because he won't in a thousand years, but I wish we'll get to see just maybe (we kind of did, but) someday that Takagi can get teased in some way. Whether it's embarrassment, clumsiness, whatever. I know. R*ping her is the only option, huh. *laughs at Nishikata*
Ah, push-ups just like how I did it in the Army haha
P.S. What the f*** is with that cat dubbing I want this show to be like this for the whole series!!! lol
P.P.S. I'm going to formally use "got Nishikata-d" as the new Anime term for being teased by someone. Someone get this in urban dictionary or something haha
からかい回避
(banter evasion)
  • Do not offer your drinks to others it's unhygienic
  • Do not show off your newly-found skills on a bet
  • Do not punish yourself by things that are not beyond your control; reward yourself for achieving otherwise instead
  • Do not believe in stuff people say otherwise especially if you know them
  • Do not scare people knowing it'll scare you too
  • "Should I even comment on the rain scene? I mean, I won't even share an umbrella with a girl"

アニメ Slow Start
Hey, it's the "who is worse off" segment: Is it worse to repeat middle school or to repeatedly not go to college entrance exams? I suppose the latter is just being lazy lol
Hey it's another wonderful episode (#SlowStart04) in this slice-of-life series, and we are introduced with probably the best girl in the entire series probably (sorry Eiko-chan haha), and it's (yeah don't read it directly even if  you know it) Hannen Hiroe. And in this introduction, we actually get a lot more development than I would wish for, from a shut-in to revealing her past to what she is by the end of the episode, being friends with Hana-chan and FINALLY getting out of the house lol, she's doing it. And I'm surprised to be blown off of how bad my impression of this emo freak until they got into this episode, which is good news to me. She might just be my new favourite now, probably with affection as much as Eiko-chan is giving to that poor woman lol. Anyways, the girls are as usual having a wonderful time, we now know this is literally an episode to cheer girls up (hey I highly recommend this episode to dejected females out there), and seriously Hiroe-san, you can most definitely wear Shion's clothes hehe #alltheway
When international shipping charges you more than the item you ship it's because of this haha
P.S. Eiko-chan is not only good with clothes, she's also good with girls haha you know what I mean
P.P.S. "This is my parents' hobby" I mean Kamuri-chan I LOVE your parents lol
アニメ Dagashi Kashi 2
#Feels when Hotaru recalls of her past. Now we know why she changed her target from an old man to Kokonotsu lol
The new episode (#DagashiKashiS203) is short as always, but of course, there's no dagashi. Eh? Yeah, it's about games, and a sad tale to tell, to say the least. First, game. If you have watched the livestream like I did yesterday, you shouldn't be surprised with beigoma, that spinning top before there was beyblade lol. Anyways, if it's a bet, and there's no Sayashi, then Hotaru wouldn't have lost. Haha, just saying. Her luck is as bad as... wait, no one is as bad as her tbh even Ayachi got something in the baseball gum game featured last episode haha. Then, there's the flashback. Flashback to when there wasn't Shikada Dagashi, and Hotaru had to go pester another shop lol, but yeah, she's not entirely wrong. Considering she has been well experienced with being the daughter of the largest dagashi company in Japan, can't say she doesn't know. But not everything, and here is where she gets most of her education, from a sulking and balding old man haha. Anyways, brings back memories for her, not like she'll shed a tear now that it's gone (I mean, I wouldn't if I had Kokonotsu lol), but still. It's something to say the least. Oh yeah, add in more Hotaru fanservice (should I even mention any of them here?), and you get your staple ecchi comedy. Hey, "if this doesn't sell I don't know what will", said the producer haha
LOL old man with huge rack
(Yeah no Sangatsu no Lion, huh. Their Twitter account did show screenshots so I don't know. Oh well.)

Dagashi Kashi
Maybe next week; I've not been in the mood to chase manga ever since my reliable source has shut down recently.
漫画 Dagashi Kashi
The new chapters (101-105) (wow that was quite a bunch) talk about a couple more sweets, and also, something familiar. Now I'm glad I've watched the Anime first instead of this hehe. From fake tattoos to doing business 101 with Kokonotsu to finishing homework (which reminds me lol), this show's got everything as usual. Also, there's that recollection of Hotaru visiting that balding... okay I've said it before so if you read the manga first then go watch the Anime. I guess the guys are catching up with the scans, so that's good news. I wonder when the new characters are coming. Hmm...
Hotaru was referring to Kokonotsu's privates haha

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This week in Klassic Note wasn't that eventful. Well, not until you know there's next week and it's a lot better than this week. I finally got a listen to yanaginagi's new album and I must say... I want to give it chance. So the final verdict will have to wait, but it looks like I'm giving Kitagawa (if you still don't know who he is I can't help you) and his compositions more than yanaginagi herself somehow, and I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Talking about him and about something totally unrelated to him because I want to find a link to the sentences (lol), I also reviewed Anime "Slow Start" opening theme and I guess it's okay, and that is good. It's been some time I've given a good Anime theme song, and this is going to continue the momentum since I gave a satisfactory one from Anime "GAMERS"; that too was pretty good.

Don't ask if I have heard new songs here and there (yanaginagi pun not intended) this week because if you read the intro I don't need to explain why here. It's mostly based on my mood so expected releases will have to do for now. Come on, I'm even struggling to give those now.

Yeah, I'm done. I'll need to move on with life now that my last semester of university is determined. Cya guys next week then, and until then... I need motivation. I'm lacking in a lot of it. Maybe be a rich kid, whatever. My dad want to sponsor my rich life? *laughs* Nah I'm just joking bye

P.S. Seriously thinking about APoL because it's the only thing that can make me sleep every night. Yeah. Serious. Thinking too much about course registration all week already. I really should get one more done by... the end of the year? *laughs* Sorry not sorry

P.P.S. I'm seriously close to giving my first review of Klassic Note 2018. Yes, I'm looking at you Oku Hanako-san Ayachi and your new single

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #3

Yeah you BET I was watching Nanitsuku before I came here to finish this post for the week hehe

As some has mentioned in the comments, I would love to see someone with (some) experience in cooking and also a voice actress do cooking. Like, switch around every episode, you know? I suggest Ten-chan, and some said that too. Haha people want Rie-chan to sing Kimagure Romantic while cooking (see Anime below on Takagi-san, I'm referring to the ending theme)

アニメ Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
Man, Nishikata is stupid haha. The new episode (#TakagiSan02) kind of shows some form of mystery and of course, some form of affection, from Takagi's actions. Why? Let's talk about it. Mystery because sometimes we have no idea how she reads his mind, but then again most of the time it's kind of obvious, once you watch this show long enough lol. Affection-wise, it's plenty to show. If you're really interested in someone, you'd actually spend more time with him or her, and that is what Takagi-san is doing anyway, so yeah, Nishikata is dumb haha. Not to insult this boy further, the scenes this episode are real. Real as in real easy to avoid being pranked. If I were in his shoes (I need to make this into a series here) straightforwardness is the easiest answer, and of course, not to fight with a girl. I mean, I'm not feminist or anything, because Nishikata is a blockhead and a sore loser, he always falls in every "trap" Takagi seemingly sets up for him, even though most of the time it's not true. Firstly, calligraphy. What Nishikata thought of first was actually, the best answer. But telling her to scram may not be as easy as it seems, even though this is a good start. And everything else is just dessert to Takagi hehe. As I said, he doesn't know. Heck, even we don't know, so what else is new? Then, there's English lesson. As mentioned last week, if he paid attention like Takagi would whilst making conversation then nothing is a trap. Takagi was just smart enough to make sure you'd misunderstand the page number for Math lesson? Damn this boy is dumb haha. Lastly, it's not that obvious, but because there isn't a good hint, I would - in his shoes - give up on the question. That will also leave her in a pinch as she tries to not explain her situation because there isn't any. There. Problems solved. Middle school math is tougher than this, Nishikata; wise up some day would you? *laughs*
Nope, I'm definitely not thinking naughty when I took this thumbnail haha
(No seriously, period blood is gross omg girls please don't kill me)
P.S. I like how I'm reminded about the secondary characters because apparently the spin-off series is also included as source reference (see start of opening theme animation, there are two titles) and they tell a different story. Well, mostly simple comedy, but I like that touch. At least it gives a feel for how the show feels overall and how feel like this show's length could've been cut in half. (Damn, why did I keep mentioning half-length episodes? lol)
P.P.S. Ah, I thought of a title for my new mini-series for this show. "Karakai Kaihi", which also means 'banter evasion'. Thanks, random mobile game I've played before. Stay tuned next week as this master - no, god-like genius here strives to evade all the plays Takagi throws at Nishikata haha

アニメ Dagashi Kashi 2
The new episode (#DagashiKashiS202) talks about the very familiar episode which I recall from reading the manga (and I swear I've mentioned it before here last year), so I'll talk about the differences in style of doing this now compared to the Anime. Firstly, the story is about a typhoon day, where it's too dangerous to go back home for the Endou siblings (and Hotaru probably), so they had a sleepover. Simple enough, and this also took only a couple of chapters in the manga, but I'm glad on how far they made it good. Because secondly in animation, they may have cut off quite a few parts to cut short the length of the episode in compensation of completeness but it's done well. For example (spoilers if you didn't read the manga) Tou-kun was seen at home alone, and of course, should be the last person to arrive at the shop. Hotaru was supposed to be seen on the streets and talking about the exhilaration from being outside, but that is not in too. Also, they're most definitely not going to show what happened to Yo-san when he went to his neighbour's place instead of going back home. All in all, I think it's fine, because they did make it consistent enough (Sayashi monologue at the end) to make sure it sounds correct. Adaptation, people. It all makes sense. Still, never get sick of Hotaru fanservice, so despite me covering my eyes when I can see her bra, make sure to keep them coming haha
Man if I can have sex with get one dollar from Hotaru-san every time she hits that button lol

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Kiriyama should be like "Thank goodness I'm not as insane as this guy" lol I mean really snap out of it already you can't be like that robot haha
The new episode (#3Lion36) finally, FINALLY brings us Kiriyama x Souya Meijin, and not like I'm hyped for it, but I can't help anyway, so let's talk about it. Ignoring how boring that other tournament with two half-dead old men lol, Kiriyama gets to play a commemorative match with the master himself. Well, of course the chairman must pump things up to make this big news for the shougi world (so he could get all sorts of attention for the shougi committee here), but then again it's taking a toll for the people involved. Kiriyama is just freaking out at that big, beautiful poster and Souya... I guess he's still alive? He looks pretty dead though, as mentioned in the episode, and it feels like a demon, or a zombie to me, as he stays his position as the master of shougi. I guess that's the real life problem? Well, not like I know of it, but he just seems to not have a mind of his own. Probably rehearsed or given words to say, he just answers the media as if it was totally correct. And that, I feel bad for him. I mean, hospitality means bracing the large hotel like you deserved it (a little bit lesser than the Chairman, of course), thinking though the standard questions of an interview at that time (Kiriyama did nothing on that and just stoned in the bath) and just put up that formal image. Guess what? The two did none of them. Yes, not even Souya. But hey, we're not here for formalitites; we're here for a match. And walking in with a change of clothes (go find out why yourself if you haven't watched it), they start the match. Oh heck, next week's going to be interesting nothing but shougi battle tactics. Ugh. *laughs*
Me when people ask me about the progress on my final year project lol
P.S. Still thinking whether I even want to give the ending theme song here. RUANN doesn't really give a good song for the Anime tbh

アニメ Slow Start
HAREM?? I KNEW IT THIS SHOW- Oh? It's only female? Oh well. *laughs* Now you wonder how Tama-chan knows of harem and "art appreciation" I should use "music appreciation" for Klassic Note then lol
No seriously, we're getting too many of this. Boobs, I mean. *laughs* Okay, the new episode (#SlowStart03). It talks about something I didn't expect will come in this strong and quickly - emotions. I came in to this show hoping to see more jokes than cries, but I think that's what's good about doing an adaptation of a 4-koma manga (go find out that yourself) because despite all the timely jokes you can still get some feels here and there every once in a while, and I like it. And it's most definitely because the girls are cute because I wish I could see a more balanced cast (I mean, Eiko and girls lol) with a better plot (*wink* Glasslip) then I may not consider this as being good. But it is. It's got everything, and it still ties in nicely with the origin story for Hana-chan, and that's what will make it good. That reinforcement. Just like studying. But hey, what do you expect from someone living at not her real home to do when alone? I mean, I probably will still watch YouTube all day lol Hana-chan has perseverance at least haha not in running she doesn't. Anyways, another wonderful episode, and I like how it's trying to give us the relaxed yet somewhat rollercoaster feeling, despite keeping it being in a very small range. Now I can truthfully say I've not regretted picking up this series. I'm just here for the story and the jokes btw hehe
THERE IS YURI IN THIS??? lol Eiko please don't
P.S. Eiko is like "I bought something for your aunt" and I immediately thought of boob cream lol does that even exist?? *laughs*
P.P.S. "What do you do in your free time?" I mean, it's some maiden's secret or something, isn't it? (lol what were YOU thinking haha SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME HANA-CHAN HENTAI!! *laughs* though I have a feeling there's more Eiko hentai than Hana-chan lol)
O-MA-KE- Oh you know haha
This is going to replace my Facebook pokes haha

漫画 MANGA
I'll skip this for now because I'm trying to clear a little something I would like to refer to as "Mafia III". More about it next week maybe if I can finish it, ignoring all schoolwork lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
This week was a good week to welcome out first set of releases, and more as I start to open up to giving songs. NICO Touches The Walls released an EP last year (not the one that I missed before that) in December and I took a listen and liked it, actually. I guess it's not quite what I liked, but I can take it so that's good news. Okay, this week's releases. I haven't gotten my hands on yanaginagi's new album so that will have to wait. Fortunately Kotobuki Minako's new album arrived on time, and I guess I gave quite a few of them since I'm fine with them anyway. Still, I still miss Minako Rock, no matter what happens. Remember the legend that was her first album? *sigh* Anyways. I also took a listen to mol-74 new mini-album, and I guess I can give a song or two, but to be honest I'm not a fan of the vocals which will prove to be a problem as I struggle to give melodies while trying to tolerate that high pitched voice. Then again I gave the one song last year and it's also like that. I guess the melody's more important? Oh well.

There aren't anything next week so I'll be scouting for new songs, as usual. Well, if I have the mood to anyway. More on my life update on the last paragraph that no one will read lol

That's it for now. I want to finish that game by today (I WANT TO REBUILD SAMMY'S BAR!!) (Ugh I don't think I can finish it) so I'll be done for now. Cya guys next week then, and hopefully by then I'll be doing my project (lol) and/or my timetable will be a satisfying three-day school week. Until then.

Apparently, being smart in modern society means being able to turn ideas into businesses, ignorance into action, and arrogance into confidence.

Isn't that what is all about our lives now? Ugh, I feel ashamed about the truth no one will care because they think you didn't think this through when you think of this all day. Oh well, in a world of universal opinion (as opposed to majority opinion) I don't matter, so whatever.

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #2

Wow, what a week. I'm tired. Then again, I'm always tired. Maybe it's the cold weather. Man, reaching a new low here already. Guess the new school semester is here to make me kick into gear again, although as of now I don't have a timetable so technically I'm a free bird hehe

Okay, let's get to this. This is also probably the last week I'll still be looking for new Anime to talk about them, and I think I have enough for regular viewing, so I'll be back to regular schedule next week. Sorry for the excessive scrolling for the past few weeks haha

アニメ Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
"How do I embarrass Takagi-san?" I mean, just r*** the shit out of her lol haha no guys I'm just joking don't do that
Hmm, I might just watch this show, and I've got my reasons. The first episode (#TakagiSan01) delivered a good summary of what is in and what might happen, and that's good for something which feels like on first impression, Anime "Tonari no Seki-kun". But in this case, the girl's playing fun of the boy, and the boy's an idiot lol. Anyways, the story in brief. It's a slice-of-life, but it's also with development, which is what will make it different, I hope. Nishikata sits beside Takagi-san, and if you haven't been duped into anything before by someone of the opposite gender I pity you. Or on the other hand, I congratulate you. Because the author has seemingly written it perfectly on how pranks work in class, whether from setting it up to doing it where least unexpected - Takagi-san has it all. Nishikata seems like he's smart, but once you watch halfway through you'll notice he's still dumb af lol. Add in some mystery in the romance department (yes it's written ALL over Takagi's eraser and Nishikata's face lol) and secondary characters, and we might have the least unexpected romance comedy here. Hey, I may be dreaming, but watching this episode makes me feels like so, and I like it. I also appreciate the slow pace of the show (because why does Dagashi Kashi get half-length episodes but not this) because it brings up more reactions from both characters (personally I like the girl) (yes I'm not as dumb as you Nishikata I'm straightforward) which is a nice touch to catch the eyes of everyone who likes the animation, and I must say, it's pretty good. Coupled with familiar voices which is not Amamiya Sora (for some reason Takahashi Rie sounds like Ten-chan I don't know), this is setting up to be the next romcom that I'll like. Hey, I'm just saying, but you can't stop me liking that ending theme song because Ikimonogakari hehe and it's super duper cute with Rie-chan too
Should I photoshop the eraser so it looks like she's lewd?
Okay maybe not HAHA I'M DOING IT
P.S. Yep, they totally covered it. When Takagi climbed down from the desk out of the curtain. The animation team was trying so hard to make sure this is not rated lol okay there wasn't anything there anyway PRANKED
P.P.S. As usual, the way to deal with people who like to prank you (as with Seki-kun too) is to ignore, and take the task at hand seriously ie. pay attention to the lesson, but hey, they're still middle schoolers, so I won't say much haha Nishikata continue to be dumb or else we'll run out of material
FIXED IT haha
OMAKE!!!!
Man, how did they make this show so wrong haha

アニメ Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen
All I want to be in life is to be Tomoyo-chan. No, not the recording of lovey-dovey action of Sakura-chan gaining ultimate monopoly of the footage; I'm talking about being a rich kid haha
Man, all the memories. Although to be honest, I didn't watch everything of what Cardcaptor Sakura has to offer, so firstly, I'll talk about my experience with the show. This show was probably introduced by my sister (who is of course now, excited for this return) back in 10 years ago, where she also started watching the full three seasons worth of original Anime which was aired some years ago. Haha, feel old yet? And guess that? It's back to (may I quote someone on the Internet) show how shoujo action Anime should be done. (Sorry, Madoka Magica) Okay, my experience is only quite limited but not to whatever you probably know of when watching the first episode - the characters (it took me some time to remember who's that from England), the antics (Tomoyo with the camera for example), the developments (Yue transformation, Sakura and Syouran are a thing now) and everything in between ie. most of the stuff I probably forgot. Still, this brings back much memories. To top that, everything else is exactly the same as before, from animation, sounds (fue~~), to character voices... it's all same. Heck, even Sakamoto Maaya came back for the opening theme song. With all this in line, how can it not bring all the fans - new or old - back to these wonderful times? I may not watch this in full though (I don't think the slow pace of the plot holds up to any extent, which is why I mentioned I don't remember everything), but I'll take note. Considering my sis is also watching this I'll probably hop on the hype train with her, so yeah, no more reviews after this. But hey, welcome back Sakura. I liked Syouran better lol I mean his voice HIS VOICE!! Sakura sounds too high pitched cute imo
99% of the audience faces look like this when this first episode aired.
The other 1% are screaming at the new clothes Sakura-chan will be wearing hehe
P.S. I would hope for new characters for this series, but I may be putting my hopes too high. Still, the new generation of voice actors/actresses will be a great addition to this wonderful series. We've only got Hayami Saori on this train so far and she's not even in the cast
P.P.S. Good reminder that now with my own experience I can figure out that Kero-chan speaks with a high-pitched Osaka accent. Well then again I started with English dub (I know) so I'm not that familiar with this voice

アニメ Dagashi Kashi 2
I just noticed I'm laughing way too hard at Hotaru running into an entrance. Then I noticed it's the only thing that will (probably) make me laugh hard in this series.
Okay, not starting this on a sad note, but as you may have noticed, the show's length is cut in half. Then again, same style, so I'll call this show a blessing in disguise. That doesn't mean I won't watch it though because everything so reminiscent is what is still making this a nice series to watch. The first episode (#DagashiKashiS201) brings about the reunion of all four characters onto the table as prelude to the introduction of new characters, I assume. They touch on two chapters of the manga that I already have read but probably forgotten (okay maybe not), but yeah, it's a lot more. A lot more laughs, a lot more subtle jokes (the running entrance is a mystery in itself lol), and a lot more awkward parts. This, I'll look over it. Besides that, you get your usual show albeit with a little more Hotaru fanservice as obviously seen throughout the episode, even the opening theme animation tbh
TOKUBETSU SPECIAL!!!
Hotaru Orgsam Mode, I call it. *laughs*
(I'd rather they just make her pant lol)
P.S. I mean, do you seriously see a difference in animation? All I see was just another season of Anime! You guys need to be more positive about the animation studio change, really.
P.P.S. For the theme songs, I'll give Ayachi for opening because it's going to be obligatory especially if I decide not to give the ending. That one, I'll see for myself. I may just like it if I listen 11 more times lol

アニメ Slow Start
"Secretions"?? I KNEW IT THIS IS AN ECCHI ANIME lol
In this slice-of-life Anime that I can't stop watching, the new episode (#SlowStart02) brings Hana-chan's past and one of her (many, maybe) weakness which is she is bad at sports. And she lied. Yes, first lie of this series, ladies. (Audience: What about the gentlemen?) And among all these straight jokes I appreciate how this show is going. The pace may still be slow, but I like the feel of the show. Really reminds me of A Channel, just that now we have a cast of nothing but Tooru voices. Okay, maybe not Eiko. And the cousin. But yeah, I guess I can watch this. Let's talk about plot. Hana-chan got ill during the entrance exam period (that is Jan-Feb) so she missed all the exams, but was still able to get into high school, but I guess she has to change in her lifestyle for being too much of a shut-in and worrying about getting friends, among many things in her life right now. Still, she said a lie to her new friends in which she is quickly experiencing the consequences in the recent sports test, and yeah, she's terrible. Terrible if you don't exercise. Terrible not because you're young and can still do that fist clench test. Just like me. Man, I share so many similarities with Hana lol. Anyways, about the others. Kamuri is good at running but way too shy to carry a conversation with others, Eiko is always going to be MVP in this show because of her elder sister "onee-chan" character (see Blend.S for what that means), and Tama-chan is the most lively wife you'd ever want hehe. All in all, I like this show, and even the teacher throws us off every once in a while. (The teacher has cramps lol)
P.S. Okay I don't know which Hana-chan expression I should put so I'll put one here and make the other a GIF. Also, not posting girls lovey-dovey stuff here just because I can.
Happy stuff, yes? Only happy stuff. *giggles*
P.P.S. I saw infected Hana-chan and I'm like "who are you?" lol you're not alone haha
Literally me every year for physical fitness test lol

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
To be honest, if you don't want people to find out anything about you, stay normal. That's how lone wolf terrorists are made lol
Hey, it's another episode, so let's talk about it once more, since Hina-chan hints that this might be the end of it all. The new episode (#3Lion35) concludes on the bullying arc (lol) with the head teacher confidently (though unwillingly) sweeping this into a school event, and made sure the class can spill the beans, without all of the "prosecutors" involved. And yeah, it has indeed come to a conclusion. Even though for Megumi? (Yeah I don't remember a**hole names haha) She may have her own problems. But we'll not discuss it here I guess; she's not the main character lol. Anyways, she leaves us something (if you haven't noticed) of how to live in society, and that is not wrong. Many people voice out or even act out their own way to achieve something, whether it's psychologically good or bad for others. But sometimes, it's not within the society to accept those that are bad. So great, people have to intervene. But see for Chiho-chan her case, she can't deal with such things, likely even with help of others. Hina-chan is strong enough to defend against that, but has barely came out alive. Just a good reminder to tell us there's always a part of society that will embrace you for who you are. But seriously, don't do bad things. There is freedom in many bad things you can do that are not illegal, I promise. And also, I want to be happy so I won't do things that are stupid, just so you know. On a lighter side, we see some more interaction with Kiriyama and Hina-chan. I mean, they are 3 years apart only, and they admire each other so much. Can we get something out of this some time? Says the Anime production to the author who is probably still shaking his head right now lol, but yeah, those moments are the best. I totally appreciate how they made sure you can feel what it means to be in this show, be it happiness or sadness or just pure despair. Hey, it's drama, and it's drama done well. Okay, maybe not for the shafting sub-par animation quality but still. The theme songs could be better haha
さあ、どうする?ww
[So, what will you do (now)? *laughs*]
P.S. You see? Chiho-chan had to resort to being friends with animals! See? (Sorry if I offended any pet owners lol) I mean, "three steps to making friends"? First step: Don't be a jerk. BOOM GOTCHA
P.P.S. Production is like "What's better than one cute girl? How about five?" lol I was referring to the cookie baking gathering

[And I'm NOT going to comment that the petit milady pair (Taketatsu Ayana, Yuuki Aoi) appeared in Pop Team Epic this week. NEVER.]

漫画 Dagashi Kashi
The new chapters (99-100) talk about... very different things, so I'll touch on them individually. The first talks about boobs it seems (sorry Sayashi I'll beat Tou-kun up on your behalf lol), and we still didn't know about the story behind it, or if it had one. Or if whoever thought of the name was sick enough to not use pacifier as part of the name lol. The other, since it's a 100th chapter, brings us back to one of the first chapters Butamen, even though not much has been mentioned, it talks about eating them and using the fork in a customer perspective, which somehow is a good change of view.
Can this be an ad? lol

漫画 Nagasarete Airantou
Well it's been some time again (the last update I checked was February last year lol), so let's see where we left off, because I do take notes. The new chapters (101-102) conclude on the Beniyasha arc I probably forgot most of them, with the elderly being a nine-tailed fox confronting Ikuto with the two most important people in his life? Sure, but the sister Misaki has a totally different story. Reason she was half-youkai was because her mother was in this island, and Tsurara (the elder's assistant Michiru's mother who lives in the mountains) rarely comes down to the land because she cannot maintain her form that long. After a good summary which makes me more confused as before (so yeah Misaki and Michiru are Tsurara's kids and the elder's grand-kids), there is no doubt that the only human who was never born on this island as of now is still Ikuto haha. The latest chapter (153) talks about the reunion of the mother and daughter, and of course how much difference it makes to be a birth mother. Then again, it's good to hear about Ikuto's family in completion, from the grandfather to the parents, so that's good. The author apparently still has plenty of stories to write, so I'll see how long I can follow this.
P.S. Is this the first time I've been touched by one of the manga chapters?? Haha
P.P.S. Okay most of the pages are too much upskirt shots so I'm not putting a thumbnail here lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
I've been listening to a couple of releases lately, but haven't been able to give most of them. DENIMS came under the Klassic Note microscope once again because I've given them a chance once already but to no avail, and I doubt anything will happen this time around. Their newest album released in December last year isn't online though, so I may have to wait to see if the newer release is any different. Hmm... what else... oh yeah the new Anime theme songs this season? Sangatsu no Lion probably is giving the most problems as of now because I don't really like either of them; Slow Start is currently at its best because I can take both theme songs; Takagi-san I'll be giving the opening since I don't want to give cover to a song I've given 10 years ago (wow it's been so long I feel old lol), and Dagashi Kashi I fear for the ending because IS THAT RAPPING IN THE VERSES?? Oh well, we shall see about it then. I'm not giving Sumipe's new single (Pop Team Epic opening) that's for sure haha

Okay I'm real tired of doing this. Tired as in because of school stating tomorrow and I have to go to school because I have to return a long due library book because I haven't been doing it last week when it did lol, not because this is the final issue haha. Man, I'm full of lame jokes. Cya guys next week then, and until then... don't even post comments online. People assume so much they'd rather trample you than respect you for your personal opinion. In the past I thought I was one of them but now I'm most definitely not. It's not majority anymore; it's universal opinion apparently. Thanks for ruining someone's day, reddit idiots. Also, Pirates series isn't that fantastic. Have you watched "Yoru no Mijikashi, Arukeyo Otome"??

Thursday 11 January 2018

So long as we can give it on face value, it doesn't matter how much we have given.

This can be applied to almost everything in life that you like or are okay with, but I thought of this in context for idols. For example, it's hard to reject the one image of him or her and say it's terrible when you know who he or she looks like. Seriously, image editing may be killing our reality for beauty. So literally, I'm talking about "face" value.

The Entertainment News 2018 Edition Issue #1

Hey, I did say I was taking a break, and so I did. *sigh* I'm so in trouble for my final year project...

Anyways, let's get to it. I really don't want my reality to dabble with the wonderfulness of the Anime world hehe

アニメ Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho
I didn't believe in this show at first, but now it has convinced me to want to watch it all just like Kobuchizawa convinced Mari-chan. The first episode (#YoriMoi01) gives context, creates coincidences, and sets the girls on a journey. We start with first girl Mari, who has goals in life, but never set out to do them. Just in an easy example of skipping school, and she still ended up coming to school. But in comes next girl Kobuchizawa Shirase who has a reason to travel far away. And this will be the premise of the story, I guess. Of course, it still serves to explore the things behind the characters which is as touching as it is exciting, and I guess that's what got me hooked as I watched the episode. Unfortunately, it may just stop there, just like Mari's determination to leave for a land far away. The opening theme animation gives good insight to what will happen to this original animation, with many obstacles not and including training and awareness as to prepare for the trip, and that, I might just be deterred. You see, I'm not much of a travel guy than a guy who is interested in travel, but then again it's mostly because of money, just like what Shirase-san lacks. Still, I believe the storytelling may be more convincing in getting me to continue this journey compared to everything else, but then again don't expect a smooth journey. Just like real life, we'll see a lot of bumps, but we'll also see a lot of stories. Things that will touch us, things that may motivate us, and things that will make us thankful for whatever we have done. And that, I might just watch. Hey, it's just an Anime. I'm not so easy as Mari-chan who just joins a trip to Antarctica and letting the family and her insurance company (if she is covered) worry about her lol
Me when I feel bad about stealing someone's stuff lol
I'll see if this holds. I'll probably bail if too much technicality is involved. Otherwise, I might be in for an exciting (Anime) journey of my life. *laughs*
P.S. Biggest problem I have now is surprisingly not all these, but in animation. The girls look terrible, in my opinion. If anything is really going to stop me from continuing this show, it's that. No really, feels weird to me tbh

アニメ Toji no Miko
I'd like to safely say a "no" on this one. Firstly, "special equipment"? No thanks, sci-fi. I'm okay with that centipede, but no robotic powers, thank you. Secondly, didn't expect it to be a group attack, because one-to-one will be more awesome anyways, especially without special equipment. Simplicity, ladies and gentlemen. Remember Kekkaishi? I base this a lot on the opening sequence of the first episode, just so you know. Lastly, I find myself less interested in the story at all times, from the defense group to all the sword-fighting terms to the competition that is happening which had some cliffhanger ending right there so you guys will continue to watch. But I must say I'm probably not following this franchise, considering they are going to make it big. Sorry Kanami-chan (and Hondo Kaede-chan), sorry Juujou-san (and Onishi Saori-chan), sorry super-interesting fighting stance and speed boosts (lol), but yeah, I'm going to skip on this one. Not quite what I like to watch, considering I've already seen the awesomeness that is BLEACH lol. Finally, "what the fuck do you think you're doing Juujou" shall be my last statement for this show.
P.S. Kaede-chan's "uh-woah" is probably the best I've heard this season, and I've watched three shows already haha

アニメ Pop Team Epic
WTF did I just watch? And where's the Sumipe opening theme song??
Okay I'll do a short summary on this one because I'm MOST DEFINITELY not continuing on this series. First things first: this show is not a lie. If you know who were supposed to sing the theme songs and who the real voices are you'd have no worries about what is happening on screen. Talking about worries, the show is nothing but short random jokes, just like how comedy is to be made, but done in two exactly different ways, taking half of each episode. If I were the production I would have killed myself but they didn't. Add in some side story which sounds like the main story about an idol group (they went that far to do this??), and a more palatable second half because we watched the first half which was voiced by the directors probably lol, hey at least this show hasn't sent me to the mental hospital. Not watching for... more reasons than other. Now you know why this show was delayed by one season instead of airing last year.
P.S. I still don't know what is happening so don't forgive yourself for not knowing otherwise (<= 100% intentional)

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
I watched the second half with Gramps vs Akari and I'm like "hey when have I seen this before?" lol man this show haha
The new episode for the new season (#3Lion34) makes me watch to punch my PC monitor as I watch it haha. (And now you know I don't watch in front of the TV) Okay, the story. I guess they are going to do this until Kiriyama gets to fight with... whoever that silent guy is. Still, really pisses me off that I have to watch another episode of this incident. Hey, kind of important, and if it irks you the production wins, so unlike the parents' in-depth arguing with each other, let's just  talk briefly about it. The bullying incident ensues and spreads across the class, creating tensions at an all time high. The teacher herself was not able to stand the problems that surface within the class, and collapsed. Firstly, I would like to blame on the teacher for not being able to deal with the situation, or until it's too late to do so. Easily because most teachers who are teachers tend to not want to interfere with the affairs of the class, mostly because they are just paid to teach. Very stereotypical situation over here, but of course, as all would recommend, teachers must actually have the patience to deal with and understand the class to some extent in order to help them out when necessary, and not only service those who approach, much like in Anime Assassination Classroom. (Remember that octopus of an assassin? Okay that may be extreme case, but) Then, a replacement homeroom teacher arrives. And because he's also head teacher, dealing with bullying shouldn't be too much of a problem for him. And that brings us to the next point. But instead of picking on seniority for my reasoning, I would like to say the head teacher is right. If there is bullying that whoever is voicing it out will be it. This is made even easier when he decides to do one-on-one talks with all the students in the class, easily means that every other student would have spoken to the teacher about it then. Hey, problem solved. I guess the only thing I can blame on - which the head teacher also admits - is the dealing with situation at the wrong time, for example putting the meeting of the two parents at further different time period would have been more appropriate. Still, I think we may have a conclusion to this, and don't worry Akari-san, you don't have to deal with this stuff anymore because it's settled. I hope. Lastly, I would love to praise on the author for making this a stellar explanation to bullying in school (I hope he wasn't a victim lol), and making the portrayal of weakness and anxiety to its best coupled with the Anime. For the I don't know how many times I'm saying this, I'm glad I watched this show.
And here's an anxiety-free image from the episode.
(Oh sh*t it triggered the theft incident? Sorry)
P.S. And boy am I glad to have given one of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN's songs last year to not throw up on the opening theme song ugh haha oh we're done with Pop Team Epic already? The ending sounded better though, even though I couldn't catch the beats somehow

アニメ Slow Start
Oh so you're good with your hands, I hear? lol okay that's as far as I will go
I wouldn't say this show is out to a slow start, but this show has plenty to offer to be the next slice-of-life Anime, but I'm not sure I'm that into it though. Let's talk plot. Ichinose Hana (since she said her full name again at the end) is up to a new school life. Somewhere unfamiliar, living alone (technically), and not fast enough to make friends. I mean, if you're like friendly and open Tama-chan you wouldn't have problems. Or if you're the shortest student who probably hasn't grown much since then, or if you're such a onee-san type people will remember your kindness, you're sure to leave an impression on the first day of school. Sadly, Hana-chan is none of them. She is shy, she is nervous, but she got lucky. It's her birthday on the first day of school. And guess what? With that luck she got recognised by the class, or more importantly, by the trio. The show has good subtle jokes too which makes the show more entertaining than your usual genre, so that's good. I'm worried about how much that might affect me though, as the detail and jokes kind of fall off even on the first episode. (Remember the meatballs joke? I don't even if I understood) Talking about names probably is the most boring thing that can happen, but details is what makes this show special too. Little do I encounter a show where the first episode (#SlowStart01) is just Day One. Goddamn, if only they had more of these to share. So I'll be thinking about it for now. No promises because I cannot stand the voices of the newbie voice actors which make me feel like I'm watching a magical girl Anime for some reason lol, but other than that I see this as a good change to a show like A Channel. And that, I may not mind. Man, when are they adding more guys in these kinds of shows? *laughs*
When you know they are giving out freebies on the streets and you got three already lol
P.S. Referring to the thumbnail above, when Hana-chan received a present from her cousin on the birthday dinner I'm like "FINALLY a proper present for my birthday" lol (I'm secretly liking the "going home with you because we gave our good luck charms to the birthday girl" pick up line though haha *writes down*)
P.P.S. I may not favour the opening theme, but if I were to watch this Sangatsu no Phantasia has got my back. Thanks, Mia-san. *censored eyes, thumbs up* (<= Works too when referring to how Hana-chan looks in her school uniform lol)
[I am trying VERY HARD to not mention the boobs jiggle including audio cues in this show I just hope it doesn't happen often it's irritating as heck]

アニメ Dagashi Kashi
The new chapter (98) brings us back to a recollection, where sports days must come with bentos? Sure, something I definitely don't know after years of watching Anime lol, but hey, turns out the father did terrible stuff. I mean, it's really mean to put dagashi in your bento, yes? *laughs* Still, I like how Kokonotsu likes Sayashi's bento, because that just proves someone here's a good housewife hehe. Still, the one time dagashi had to still appear because it was regarded as a dessert, not that it must be everything of a bento. I really wonder if You-san just likes dagashi or is a screw loose haha
If you didn't miss kid Sayashi I did hehe

アニメ Yoru wa Mijikashi, Aruke yo Otome
[(The) Night Is Short, Walk On Girl]
And the least I'd expect is to hear Kana-chan speak fast. Hey, welcome to the Morimi Torihiko world, ladies and gentlemen.
Oh damn am I exited to jump into this same world as Anime Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei. And boy was it an amazing production. I swear, it brings back memories, and then some. I find myself enjoying this movie to the fullest, all wrapped up in a story that happens in a single night.

Let's talk about story for a bit, because unlike the Anime (#KurokamiNoOtome), this movie "actually as a plot here". Plot goes that the senpai (main guy) was finding a way to be with the girl he likes, the girl with the black hair (main girl). And so, in her night of craze besides sticking by a normal wedding night, she starts a tour of the city and gets involved in everything she is in. The thing is, she finds amazement in everything she does, never leaving regret behind otherwise not drawn by fate. But she forgot something. That fate can be created. By someone. Who has an intention. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but hey, what's wrong with chasing a girl?

This show summarises my life so well, I don't even know how to comment. (Okay, besides the drinking, the hotplate deathmatch, and I had someone to love in university haha) Firstly, let's talk about production. This wonderful movie is done in the exact same way as the Anime I've seen five years ago, and boy am I glad to have watched that screw up of a show. But then, it left an impression I wasn't able to forget, and a lesson I'll always remember. (Be sure to watch that first before watching this) Cue in the announcement for this movie to be done in the exact same way but featuring a different story written by the same author, my anticipation for this went to an all time high. Featuring some familiar voices (Hanazawa Kana *chu*, Kamiya Hiroshi who also is very similar in popularity to his acting character lol), I can't wait for this to come out. And I'm not disappointed. Watching this type of animation is like going on a journey, and I might say, comparable to Studio Ghibli movies. Add in a nice touch of unexpected musical format to keep the format short yet eventful (because they don't have 11 episodes to do never-ending speeches like last time), the journey was fun. Just like the girl with the black hair, we had moved forward consistently without having to worry about devotion and just to enjoy life to the fullest. And that is its beauty.

Then, there's the references. I don't know about old songs which the musical might have adapted from to tell the story in the guerrilla theatre, the show is FULL of Yojouhan references. From familiar faces (Higuchi, the chairman, Jougasaki lol) to even more familiar scenarios depicted from speech to visuals (lol boob wall), because this was adapted from a similar environment which is the university that the main guy of the Yojouhan Anime was from, I felt right at home the moment it started. I was mostly laughing because I've became the target of the many jokes from the very familiar yet ironic references in the movie, I can only but laugh.

Finally, the pace. In this types of animation, most appreciated and the most underappreciated must be its pace. It's so fast, you thought the night wind in the movie that was giving everyone the colds (I mean, it's technically a typhoon) was blowing faster than the plot. And then they even reminded you with it in various ways, from the clocks/watches of the elderly running faster than the young main characters (reflection of society btw) to how all this happens in one night (if you didn't catch it the main girl said it in visit to Rihaku's house when he was ill) to Johnny's appearance in the senpai causing in an emergency, and despite all that, it did not miss on storytelling. I can guarantee you that after watching this, it's either you get all of it or you get none of it. Well, it may be because of the references, but still. It's a hell of a ride of freedom. And it all makes sense from a book ownership perspective, just like how the God of Used Books has desired. Now we can all rest well, knowing we've yet witnessed another wonderful romance tale that will never exist in our bland, empty and meaningless lives, just like the Fake Denki Bran hehe. Hey, at least these guys made me laugh for 2 hours. *laughs* Now I wished I had paid to watch this movie when it aired March April last year. *sob* Also, I think I found the perfect woman to teach me to enjoy cocktails. I've watched that Anime Bartender and always wanted a drinking buddy hehe
Haha I let my inner Johnny choose the thumbnail lol
(Also, if you can take this image, the show is perfectly adult-friendly hehe)
P.S. Thanks production for the summary. Otherwise, I'll be the latter audience even up till now and probably have to watch back the footage just to remind myself what happened lol. Also, thanks Ajikan for the theme song. Ends the movie perfectly.
P.P.S. Once again, I've enjoyed being in another fictional world. Hey, to all authors out there? If you can create one fictional world in your life and everyone likes it, keep doing it. (think J.K.Rowling) Because there's never a better way to do fiction than to re-use that wonderful world and tell a thousand stories on it. I'm not talking about you though Disney; Don't get the wrong idea haha
OMAKE!!!
My inner Johnny did this GIF. *laughs*

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
I'll talk about briefly what I did, like many other things I said I will talk about briefly above and still it's a heck of a paragraph lol. I gave songs from Coalamode (their latest single) and GLIM SPANKY (thanks One Piece not) maybe to start Klassic Note this year which is actually from next week, so all songs of the day are void and not committed to Twitter as of now. I've heard some theme songs from the Anime I watched this week, and I can see some of them coming in to the list in the near future. Other than that, I guess I'll take more time to give other artists I've given this year as an update, maybe Frederic, as much as I don't want to because it's all their beats or whatever haha

This is it then. I've thought of writing that draft I created years ago on BLEACH universe now that the manga has ended (even though it'll require some tweaking because things have changed), but nah probably not I better get started on my school project soon. Cya guys next week then, and hopefully, I'll be sadder than I am now. Haha goodbye.

The Klassic Note Artist Evaluation 2017

Hey. I don't know if I took too long, but here I am. Happy new year to everyone, just like last year. *laughs* Also, I'll talk about my plans for Klassic Note this year at the end of this, so be sure to scroll to the bottom if you got bored of all these.

Talking about bored, I'm here because in a yearly tradition I'm supposed to comment on all the artists who participated last year, in 2017. It's quite a lot to talk about, but since it's typically a one-liner unlike that project I did last month, I believe I can clear this in no time. So let's get started.

Just like last year (lol), I'll be talking about three main types of categories of artists, which are namely:
  • Collection Artists: For those who have a footing on Klassic Note, have contributed significantly to the song count till today, and already have their own playlist worth of songs. Examples for the year include miwa, NEGOTO and Toyosaki Aki etc.
  • New & Uprising Artists: For those who have outstanding performance this year, have only been initiated in recent years, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include Yoru no Honki Dance, TrySail, SPYAIR, Goose house, THE ORAL CIGARETTES (I can't stop) etc.
  • Newcomers: For those who have appeared this year, have done real well this year (in any amount) to be worthy of mention, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include Natsukawa Shiina, Yonezu Kenshi, H ZETTRIO etc.
Don't worry if you do not know any of them. This is precisely the place to tell you what I think of all of them. Yes, ALL of them. Okay, maybe not all of them. Can't bring myself to criticism everyone. Still, this is going to take a while. #LONGPOSTWARNING

[I'll use the year number for all references corresponding to "last year" (2017) and "this year" (2018) or whatever. It's confusing in the past so this much mentions of years will have to do.]

COLLECTION ARTISTS
Chatmonchy: Oh we starting with them first? Damn. As you would have known, the two have announced their disbandment due mid-2018 with a final album, so that's something to feel sad about. In 2017 though they only released one single which is less than any form of justification of any sort of them leaving us, but not like we can do anything about it. *sob*

Rie fu: She's been active in UK but she did release an album this year, so I won't complain. I didn't give much attention though so whatever I'll take what I can

sphere: They are preparing for their hiatus by now (pretty much already), so they released an album early in the year before a final single in October, which is fine by any means. Just a good reminder what you're going to miss before we go MIA for two years lol

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION: Rather disappointing for one single only, but hey it's a single I've been waiting for so that's good. Problem is that is pretty much it. Yeah.

SID: Thanks to Kuroshitsuji I've listened to one of their three singles they released in 2017 lol. I did give chance to their album though, even if all I did was just pick one song.

SCANDAL: I've been actively avoiding their songs after their best album at the start of the year, and their only digital single in 2017 deters the heck out of me with an unlikely good melody coupled with... lesbian kisses? Ugh.

miwa: I gave one of her past year singles due to an awakening lol, but other than that I've not given anything from her two singles released in 2017. I guess I'm drifting away from her music style slowly but surely. Then again, I did give a listen to her album at the start of the year, which was backed up by a movie and I literally skipped the topic song(s)

SPECIAL OTHERS: Another collaboration song album? Man, I'm getting tired of those already I just want more music!!

Toyosaki Aki: 2017 should be a glorious year for Aki-chan as she releases one single but more importantly, her first best album. I did give credit and discussed about it a lot on Klassic Note Review so be sure to check those out.

Tomatsu Haruka; Having only released one single in 2017 after her best albums in 2016, this comes of as slightly disappointing. But having lifted of that after-shadow that is the idol group, at least we know 2018 is going to give her more songs than we can expect.

ClariS: 2017 is a big year for the girls. They revealed their appearance (besides the eyes) early in the year overseas, in lives, and now in releases. Their participation in Anime not forgetting Eromanga-sensei probably gave them more attention they should have after their album at the start of the year. You should've watched the making video of their live video - that chorus without instrumentals is literally the best.

Porno Graffitti: I kind of give and take from them these few years, and in 2017 I did the same. I gave only one song from their singles and one from the album which came as a late review to end the year.

Taketatsu Ayana: 2017 was a best album year for Ayachi. From live voting (which I didn't get to participate) of the tracks to release by the end of the year, I did not by any chance give her any song. Maybe in 2018, Ayachi.

fumika: 2017 was quite a year in Klassic Note for her. I gave her #1 after years being in the ranks from 2012 to 2014 to now, I feel sad having to not give her her songs earlier. That, and I did give her two singles she released a chance, so that's good. Very close to a single review though.

Hanazawa Kana: Can I even say after having only given one song from her album? 2018 looks better though, I hope.

NEGOTO: 2017 was a good year for them in Klassic Note. Also celebrating their 10th anniversary they released two albums within a year, quite a rarity for any artist (in 2016 it was Miyawaki Shion, but this is two full albums) and definitely plenty of work for the girls, which also means there aren't many good songs in them. Thanks to their single they get a worthy mention though, and I think that's good enough for me.

nano.RIPE: Their return after a year of rest comes as rather anti-climatic since I didn't give the topic song off the bat, but hey, I started with one of the other songs. They are picking up their paces though, so I hope to hear more songs in 2018 soon.

NEW & UPRISING
THE ORAL CIGARETTES: I've listened to their album at the start of 2017 so that's a pretty good start. Then, their two singles in the year also impressed me well, so I didn't stop. I must say they did well. Just, not well enough to be in the ranks. Sorry.

Yoru no Honki Dance: 2017 was quite a year for Honki Dance as their two singles probably left a better impression than many other artists who released plenty of songs. Pity the one new album was kind of along the same lines as their previous album so I ended up only giving a couple of songs, especially missing the topic song, so that's saying something.

YUKI: You know I only give her songs because it's her and I watch the Anime she sings theme songs for, so that's that. Other than that I gave a listen to her latest album which wasn't disappointing to say the least, and I did get quite a lot of songs out of it.

7!!: 2017 was the year for them to release their best album, so I did get a better idea of what the band was about, from wild to generic pop to ballad songs, they've got it all. This was after their latest album at the start of the year which I was slightly disappointed with. Still, I would say it's okay.

Goose house: It was a great and fun year to be listening to their songs once again, but sadly we still had to say goodbye to Takezawa Migiwa unfortunately. Their new album provided a couple of wonderful songs to remember by (I mean, can they even find replacement for migiwaaaa?), and their two singles shed good light into what they are good at.

LILI LIMIT: I've given a lot of songs from them in 2017 though even though most of them aren't in the year itself. It was also an extension from their initiation into Klassic Note in 2016 so this was just part of it. Their only mini-album/EP in 2017 wasn't that bad though, and in 2018 I guess it'll only get better. What can I say? I'm liking their music style.

Minase Inori: After only giving the one song in 2016, I gave her a lot more credit than I should have in 2017, to say the least. Her first album was okay and I gave a lot of songs, and thanks to Anime Tsurezure Children I gave her another of her singles. I know there's the other one but I didn't give it. I'm not here for fandom, just so you know. No bullshit even though that music video is the reason why everyone would live for her haha

cinema staff: As usual, every year one album, and it doesn't disappoint. That is good enough even for me.

SPYAIR: Following the wave that is set in 2016, I continue to give them more songs in 2017, which is great considering I've not been giving them songs for the many years before. The two singles were a great listen, and the album was not at all disappointing.

Scenarioart: They did pretty good in 2017 to be honest. Their new album was a great listen and now I have their new single to do as promotion material to people who I want to recommend to others. So close, so close to being on my shelf.

Komatsu Mikako: Her change in music label brought upon her a stronger wave in terms of releasing new songs thanks to Q-MHz writing songs for her, and that's great. Her album is okay but I didn't give much, and I barely even touched on the two singles that she sang for the ballroom Anime. I'll just talk about the album, yes?

KANA-BOON: They are not great in 2017, to be honest. I only gave the singles and was largely disappointed with the album I decided to not give anything. This was in conjunction with Yoru no Honki Dance and SPYAIR albums though, so I won't say too much in terms of such competition.

ORESKABAND: Don't ask me how I only gave the album which was released in 2016 lol

SpecialThanks: Their full album in 2017 was quite okay even though all I did was give songs with music videos only so that says a lot about me giving popular songs or what they think was popular haha

Sayuri: Thanks to Anime Koi to Uso the ending theme songs was strikingly good. I also gave a listen to her first album which gave great insight into what she really wants in terms of music style. I don't think it'll make of a good time in Klassic Note though, just so you know.

Sambomaster: They released a new single and album in 2017, so I just barely gave it a listen. Funny thing is that listening to the album brought me back to the single released just a month before it, so that goes to show how much I wanted to give them songs, at least for now.

LuckLife: They did pretty good in 2017 too. Their album was seriously just nothing but rock music which was rather boring because I thought like many artists they will  have an alternative style but not really, it seems. Their new single as an Anime tie-in was even better and I seriously believe they are better in lively than emotional songs.

Numakura Manami: She was okay for 2017 in general. Her 2nd single was some impact and I thought the pace will carry on but was greatly disappointed in her first album, so that's that.

Amamiya Sora: Her two singles after an album in 2016 were great overall. Almost turned into two single reviews but I'm glad to have done one of them.

PHONO TONES: Thank goodness they released new songs, but this time with pianist ADAM at, which was pretty cool and gave some insight into what piano instrumentals that guy can come up with, but I think I missed the music style tbh

Cocco: I only gave one of her old singles since she only sings old songs in rock festivals instead of her latest ones.

The Floor: I'm glad to be able to review their new mini-album and it wasn't bad. Glad to know I'm liking their music style after all. Again, still better at lively tunes than emotional ones.

TWEEDEES: Only one mini-album in 2017, but it isn't without any good songs, so I just took a couple. Seriously thinking that if there's anyone that would write weird melodies and still be able to pull it off in Klassic Note it can only be them

wacci: This is the most I've given them in a year. Well, I thought they had gone quiet with their previous album but that isn't the case. Still very glad to have given a chance to their single and album in 2017.

Yogee New Waves: Didn't expect new songs, and here they are, which was also them being able to managed to keep me hooked for this long to give them a couple of songs and even put them on the ranks. Good job, guys.

Coalamode.: Their album was kind of okay but I end up giving old songs instead. Totally missed their new single though I'll be doing that in 2018.

yanaginagi: Glad I can mention her in this list because I reviewed one of her new singles hehe

Asakura Momo: She released two singles in 2017 thanks to Anime PriPri Chii-chan, but I'm glad. Without this Anime she probably will only get... none of them for the year haha still, no reviews yet

Tokyo Karan Koron: I'm glad they came back after changing music labels, but releasing of songs... hmm it's kind of hard on them I guess. I mean, half of the album on Apple Music? You guys know you aren't that popular, right? It's hard to listen to the full album, I mean.

Primary: After quite a setback and missing a single I'm glad they released a new mini-album. I'm so close to going to Comiket to meet yuiko in person haha no just joking I can't afford the plane tickets

Kuso Iinkai: Pure disappointment in 2017 to be honest, as their album wasn't that great and their singles... let's say I may have started to give up.

fhana, angela, Tsuzuri Zukuri etc.: Don't ask why they are here haha

NEWCOMERS
Natsukawa Shiina: Need I say more? I mean, you know of her first two singles and how they mysteriously end up on my shelf, right? RIGHT??

Yonezu Kenshi: Being one of the biggest contributors in 2017, I'm still disappointed in the fact that I can only give the one album from back in 2015 because everything else was rather disappointing and I just gave chance because I think he has potential.

96neko: Really surprised how much of a versatile singer she was, and I'm glad to have given her a chance thanks to Anime Koi to Uso (which I stopped watching) and man, the album was weird.

Touyama Nao: I think this one was mostly for bias, but of course if not for Anime Tsuki ga Kirei she probably won't get in the list in 2017. Still, I'm glad for the single and the album, as much as it has contributed to Klassic Note.

Sangatsu no Phantasia: Besides being impressed with vocalist Mia's voice (and her back) I'm glad the composers behind this are making good songs for me to give a couple of songs from the Anime Demi-chan wa Kataritai single and album I reviewed.

Uesaka Sumire: Congrats Sumipe for making it to Klassic Note. See you again in ten years haha

GLIM SPANKY: I think they have potential for delivering a set of emo rock tunes in 2017. But I doubt this is their style despite it reminding me of the style I liked. Still, I'll be digging through their songs in 2018 to see if I can find more. Hope that mini-album isn't the only one that'll impress me.

ORESAMA: From front to end, thanks to Anime ACCA I got to know of PON-chan, and how it started from a collaboration single as an Anime opening theme songs to Alice to Zouroku and their first major debut single which probably broke more records outside than inside of Klassic Note haha. Then again I didn't give their two other singles so my bad try harder in 2018 guys

H ZETTRIO: Thanks to the familiar style of PE'Z, I'm glad to have picked them up once again. Maybe I'll dig into them in 2018 too, to see if I can give more to fill up the void that is SPECIAL OTHERS.

vivid undress: Similar to The Floor, glad to have given these guys a listen, and I must say they have potential. Then again, if they're staying indie for the next couple of years giving them songs is just going to get harder, I suppose.

Shishido Kavka: This one, probably because I entered with a concept album. Her other releases aren't that impressive and even felt old style in retrospect, so I'll stay away from her a bit I guess.

Ryokuoshoku Shakai: I'd like to see this indie band grow to be the next pop rock sensation, but they've only started this year and they're getting so much attention, I may have to wait but maybe not for long. I'll be looking forward to that.

Yuuki Aira, Ogura Yui, Luce Twinkle Wink, YURiKA etc.: Don't ask how they are here just pure coincidence lol

I guess I'll talk about this much then. Artists I don't cover are either too insignificant to comment or just they're here to add to the numbers. That or I'm just tired of this and I need a break. Talking about breaks, Klassic Note 2018 will only start next week instead of this week to give me a bigger buffer period to do whatever I want (FYP!!! *sob*) and find more new songs if that isn't the toughest thing to do every year already haha. Cya guys soon I guess, and until then... *yawn* I think I've gotten enough of typing for the year lol oh that's last year haha
