The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #9

Man, if you think another week has passed again, then you're as old as me. At least, in thinking. Alright, let's get to the news.

Funny I call them "news" even though it's just my own opinion and bias. Oh well. If you don't mind.

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: What an episode, as always. I still don't get The Reaper though. He a human or something? Oh well. Anyways the kids played a nice job disguising against a camera, Irina got her birthday gift for once, and Karasuma-sensei... let's say if you want plenty of  muscles there you go. The final boss in Season 1 does not count lol
(Why so short this week? I'm taking it all in... The jokes haha)
(And I finally recognised Karasuma-sensei's voicing. The same guy who voiced Kensei in BLEACH, and many other shows I don't watch. Wow, took me an episode of his voice to finally nail that)
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: Wow. Am I the only one amazed at this episode? Really spoiler-free mystery shows are the best lol. Anyways, the story. If you don't understand the front part, I can explain. The bag symbolises the murderer's intent to kill, and the boxes of stuff are potential weapons of... torture? So yes, as Satoru has mentioned, it's not safe to live in that bus anymore. So he brings her girl Kayo-chan back home to see the mother. Okay, of course it's not like that, but then it's rather important. Because at least she is safe for now, not mentioning that the three would be great as family too. The conversation between the teacher and mother will have people worry, but then I think it's fine. I will trust the teacher of being of help for now, as we're pretty close to legal authorities taking care of this story, even though we're probably a couple more episodes away from it. It's not for a time to cry, as Kayo's mother is going crazy about living alone and escaping when the authorities arrive, and she will get crazier (I feel like finding out who's voicing this) (Oh it's someone I don't know lol) when she blows her cover seeing her daughter returning backed up by two adults? Man like, the other guys aren't here? I see a fight coming our way. Fingers crossed to the ending for this part, but can I can feel it. This show is not going to turn to despair. Yet.
Dagashi Kashi (from last week): Another episode, and another story. We're at the summer festival it seems, and yes it's not your usual romance-story city-packed visitors in this small-scale festival, but hey, country life is great. First half we get to know of Hotaru-chan having no life but just doing the candy cutting at home before bringing just enough money to take the biggest bet of her life. And who said her luck is bad? Second half is also great, with some alone time of Sayashi and Kokonotsu-kun it almost feels like some romance Anime. Too bad it's not, but since they are childhood friends we have more memories from Sayashi then we should have. But still. Not so much of candy this (last) week it seems, but then it's not unrelated per se. Seriously selling candy will also do, but then Tou-kun may want to set up a real competition with the other onomoyaki seller over there lol

漫画
MANGA
Kuroshitsuji: Following the previous chapter of Ciel reporting to the Queen about what's happening in that wonderful place I'd like to call Heaven (lol), the duo attended another event, but only Ciel can participate, and yes, they didn't want to cheat their way in. Too bad Ciel is pretty prone to anything that comes at him (because he's human), and Sebastian can spend some time helping the detectives. What can corpses without much scars mean? And how does that associate with Ciel dozing off and dreaming of her supposed wife? Well, I mean, I have a feeling Elizabeth is already no longer with us, but I see no association to crime at the moment. As with all wonderful things the safest place is also the most dangerous place. So maybe we'll know more in future chapters. Pretty good story up till now.
BLEACH: Hell yeah, and after six-hundred-and-sixty-three chapters (no I'm not stupid) we have Chapter 664, where finally Urahara-sensei (I'm making it this official), who is obviously a shinigami (yes I am), is finally (if you don't like the tension skip this part), releasing his Bankai!!! YESH!!! Goddamn finally! Even Ichigo vs Aizen fight isn't this exciting for once. Oh well, I mean, I may have exaggerated, but still. All the talking about research and creation is obviously not much, but we now know that Sternritter is seeking the future because he believes in it. In another world created from the current three now. I get the point, but then I WANT TO CREATE MY OWN WORLD, so (haha, Mayuri too) nah, the world which this Quincy god creates will probably not be as awesome as mine lol. Anyways, we know the bad guy's bound to lose, and I have a feeling at this point if I took over he will also lose. But then haha I shall not talk about my story, as Kubo's is going to get a whole lot more interesting. Seriously, no Bankai has had this much cleavage. *laughs wildly*

SHOWS
MythBusters: It's the Reddit Special! Not that I've used anything from Reddit before besides reading it once in a while, it can represent the fan base (I guess) for this show. The myths selected by Adam are great, and seeing how record-breaking four myths are tested this time round, I have to say I'm impressed. The flatulence myth was something meant to be short in testing I guess, but Adam did a great job making a machine that can do that despite pressure from the director and production in general. (Pressure, get it?) Buster makes an appearance (probably also his last) in this episode by stuffing himself (or get stuffed) into an inflatable hamsterball (I don't want to get trademark sued too lol) to see if he can survive a ten-storey building fall, and he sure can't. Not even when they stuff a hell a lot of (instead of wrapping on him) Bubble WrapTM (haha I put that down so you can't-) on him, which is seriously interesting as a result. That idiom about punching a paper bag worked surprisingly well, even though there could be a bigger audience watching this spectacle of Adam beating that piece of... paper up. Blowing up the Reddit mascot is probably an extra, because in MythBusters... why not? Nice job, guys, and thanks for listening to the feedback all these years. It must suck to read the comments as a producer.
Million Dollars, But...: I'll try this one out starting this week, meaning if you haven't watch this series yet, you're forgiven. Anyways, the episodes aren't dependent on each other, so it's fine.
Okay, the show. It's short, but poses plenty of questions. Let's start with the Justin Bieber fan first. I mean, being a stalker for a million bucks (of whatever currency you fancy) is not that tough. But then for the rest of your life. Now that's going to be a problem. This will largely depend, as Barbara would have mentioned, on whether people around you will accept that or not. I know I won't. The knife on the hand thing will be weird, especially when holding a melee weapon besides it appearing at the butchers and other appropriate places is going to be a sign for violence, people naturally will run away upon sight. Good thing is if you don't mind losing a hand (or other parts of the body before that) for the money then I guess it's fine. Desperation can take over at this point. The first one mentioned in the video though, if you really don't mind, will earn you fat bucks for live streams of your toilet trips. I hope you don't mind the image. I know I won't. I don't spend a lot of time in the toilet, so the videos won't be long. And I assume not everyone is interested in watching other people poop (unless they don't themselves), so that popularity thing won't be much of a problem. As Bruce said you can pay me to do toilet livestreams, really.

This Week on Klassic Note
This week is awesomely renowned as the Anisong week here in Klassic Note (I totally made that up a moment ago lol), and so I decided to dive in a couple of releases this week, of which not many have turned out victorious, but some did. Sayuri's 2nd single was good to say, and that will be on the shelf and reviewed next week. Along with that is nano.RIPE's new single, and I must tell you I have never heard such a melody before, especially if this is for an Anime. The single is also surprisingly small at two tracks for both singles, so that's good news to me. (Please be reminded I listen to only Regular Editions, which means don't talk to me about Mikakoshi's singles because I miss quite a lot of them) Choucho's new single isn't impressive and reminds me a lot of those many Anime theme songs I rejected, so no. Not even with fhana as backing for the B-side. yanaginagi's new single isn't good too, as I've yet heard the whole thing, and the A-side song isn't as expected.

On others, Kana-chan's new single is just... I rather not give it. She can sing better songs. I most definitely gave that song I rejected from Tanezawa Migiwa's new mini-album a week ago, and amazarashi's new album is... I gave a chance. It didn't work out well. I mean, they have awesome music, just.. it doesn't blend well with the singing. I mean, if there are instrumental like SPECIAL OTHERS *wink* I'll already be giving them their tunes already.

Next week is with Mina-chan's new single, which, from previews, aren't impressive. So I shall see for myself if I can give the full release. And probably I'll have some time to listen to that list of songs from indie artists I promised myself to listen to weeks ago haha

This is it then. I have a game of cards to play after this. (lol forced family bonding time) (Well I guess it's Sunday, so...) Cya guys next week, and until next time... hey at least you have a Klassic Note Review to look forward to! Adieu~

[P.S.: It's Tomacchan's week, so Mikakoshi was the guest for the weekend lol

Next week... I've run out of images so I guess it's just Tomacchan herself. Yes, the one from the single. If you need a heads up of what it is go read the review.]

The Klassic Note Review 2016.02 Issue 2

Another year. Another birthday. And yet another birthday surprise! I'm glad I'm alive. This year, it's all thanks to Tomacchan and her new single, which really threw my expectations off my windows so much I must give her the thumbs up for this one. Let's start without further ado, yes?

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Tomatsu Haruka - Cinderella Symphony [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Close-ups are better. Screw the Limited Edition cover. Seriously. I demand it.)
Origin: If you have been reading reviews around here, we cannot be more familiar with Tomatsu "Tomacchan" Haruka, especially from last year I've been giving her new singles, trying to accept more of her music releases, contrary to my behaviour of her music career in the past few years. But anyway, she is doing a better job singing and being given better songs, which is not a bad thing. This is why we are here to review her latest, which may not seen to have much meaning in the title, but much within itself.

(1) Cinderella☆Symphony
I know. This has a lot of idolism written over it. And I guess it is. But then again it's also rather lovely in that sense. Just in time for Valentine's Day this year, this song is... a song for girls. To guys. And that really sounds pretty good. Reading through the lyrics I can feel the mood of this lively yet subtly romantic tune, and if you feel like it's Christmas you're not alone. Moving on to the music video, then that one we can just assume it's totally up to ourselves to judge, but as a fan of close-up shots then she won me with this one. This song may not turn out with much impact at first, but overall it sounds like you're in love. With her.
Rating: 4 stars (Close to better, but Average)

(2) Tsuukai! Romantica [Thrilling Romantic]
(I searched for a urban translation for "Romantica" and you don't want to know about it. Trust me. We can just assume that word is in Spanish.)
This one. This is that deal breaker. As always with many B-sides, this one turns me off the other direction the first time I listen to the preview as just a wild song which will sound potentially long in song length. Guess what? It's only three minutes long (probably the shortest I've heard from her song list since... I don't know), and it sounds better than many other wild rock songs out there. With the singer taking the lead in the song itself, there sure is motivation to give this song right off the bat. Well, I waited for the release date in order to give this, so that may still differ from person to person. Personally, this one is quite a surprise, and if it could be better they can afford to make this song last a little longer. Maybe it wasn't worth the risk. But still worth making Tomacchan sing to this tune.
Rating: 4 stars (Just short of being above Average)

Conclusion: This single? If you heard her last, this one is much better compared to that. If you haven't heard her before, this one will give you a reason to like her singing. Because of her generic style in music unlike others under her music label, her once-in-a-blue-moon (blue for this single too) awesomeness is always appreciated, particularly this one. Take a listen and it won't disappoint. Because she is good at singing, it doesn't hurt to give her a couple more songs from time to time. This one? I'm not disappointed at all.

-Kaineng, on the Klassic Note

THE PACKAGE
YES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE.
I mean, it's a late birthday, but whatever. This one is definitely my ideal birthday present. Or even better, her in person, wrapped in a ribbon (if you didn't notice she was trying to hang herself), and sent my way. Still, I've been thinking hard if in the case I have to give her the single what choices I have for the special gift. It's either between a thin, blue dress and ponytails. And yes I decided, and it belongs to Toranoana. As expected, I need to see Tomacchan more in tied hair. YES!
Lol she is covering her own cover
The inside booklet also looks great, but mostly because I really want her to be sent my way (lol), and then it's just me fantasising all along whilst I admire at the package already, so... yeah. Idolism. If you don't know what that means to be, this is mine. *laughs*

This is it then. I swear I don't have anything after this paragraph (lol) And yes, this comes a long way to some of the few releases I'm glad I had raised my hands to get it. And in case the hints on the Twitter account aren't more obvious enough, I'm going through two more single reviews next week too, namely Sayuri and nano.RIPE which I probably have much more of an opinion than this good release, so stay tuned until then I guess. Until next time! *staring at special gift*

[P.S.: I don't want to spam too much on this post like Entertainment News, but here are the highlights of the music video:

(Haha) Oh damn she looks so great close up. Really want to see her in person now hehe]

Unlike theory, experience makes one not forget. And that is rather important in learning.

I guess I'm not a theory guy per se, but then it's possible people can learn faster just by memorising content. Or maybe it's just my memory is failing me. *sigh*

Tuesday 23 February 2016

There is no point in having everything anyway. Even with money you can't have everything.

I'm kind of reminded of this when I think of the missed releases in Klassic Note every year. It's sad, isn't it? Letting the Internet decide what my scope of listening to songs are? It's in itself a kind of evil, me doing this much only.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #8

It's a busy week, but hey at least I got through. And happy birthday to me, my sis and that lab buddy who could not understand my rhetorical reply for wishing me happy birthday. Fuck all of you, seriously. Good thing there's always next year. Or another day to eat that birthday dinner lol

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: I just noticed something. The story doesn't make of much sense. Oh well, then last season's finale also wouldn't make much sense by now already huh. Well, Nagisa maybe over his head (his, it's a he) for a while I guess, but then again once you understand you forget you can change, as I always will remember. Anyways, the kids are held hostage somehow again, and Itona has made the wise decision to surrender to wait for another chance to kill. Oh and do we need to say Karasuma has never been sleeping ever since Koro-sensei was on Earth? Talk about being the Reaper, he doesn't even remember the actors' list lol. Other funny things to note are that disguise probably Koro-sensei donned on himself, his real crazy ideas about soccer odds, Ritsu being hacked (lol I was not that bit interested even after now, I guess it's too late by this episode), and we still pretending like we are the students who are still pretending to think that they can kill the octopus. I mean, that's the best joke ever haha (BTW I an no evil)
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: Wow, wow, wow. Well, at least Satoru got a chance to become a hero again, by turning back in time to the past. But really, after watching this episode, it has even more cemented the fact that the suspect is none other than the main guy himself. That is likely because I believe things are going to coincidentally. This time Satoru has elaborately made connections with Kenya (who I suppose can be trusted) and the other classmates, "abducted" Kayo-chan for her sake (probably not for her parents'), and deliberately set crime on various places in the neighbourhood to arouse attention in the area. Despite all this, the murder (I assume disguised very well) is still after her as if he knows where she is. Or what has happened. Or what Satoru has been doing till date. Which made me come up with such a deduction. Man, the truth is as crazy as the mystery itself, so I set to believe this can happen. More than that, it should happen. The biggest problem here then is whether the story itself (ie. the awesome author who has done a good job till now) will explain about the phenomenon of going back in time. It doesn't. So that leaves my deduction free of verification. Man I'm looking forward to the ending. And more than that, the theme song first haha
Dagashi Kashi (last week's): And I still don't have the latest episode yet. Oh well.
Maybe it's just me, but probably the lack of popularity for this show (at least, in the Internet) probably lies on the fact that the pace of the show is slow, and is mainly for product introductions with little story development. I mean, not like we'll see romance in this show, so... But still. I just like the jokes once in a while, and yes, Sayashi comes more appealing than Hotaru-chan. Probably because she hasn't been wearing anything revealing enough. Which reminds me of next (this week's) episode because I saw screenshots of them going to the beach. Damn may the next episode arrive quick please. Seriously, that upskirt... the brother is one sick bastard (so is the sister lol)

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Well suck for the last (bad) part, this chapter is really good. Combating change of solution every time, we have Yoruichi who isn't a human but a super moody cat which changes her mood (the reiatsu, ie. the input) very often so much so Deathdealing becomes useless. Well that's a scientific way of explaining it already, but then even here Yoruichi is somewhat at her limit. With the bad guy releasing his final form (did I say what "final" finally means? *sigh*), I guess he's not dead yet, but if he learns of this at even a faster rate or just goes crazy in his skills, the couple will likely still end up in a bad state. Will Urahara-sensei do something to protect the soon weak Yoruichi and defeat this guy? We can but hope. (Please Kubo, I know you want to make Urahara do something so bad already!!)

SHOWS
MythBusters: One myth only? Man, they are lazy. (lol) Anyways, rocket myth. Rockets have a great impact on this show. I mean, they launched that JATO rocket (according to them) four times before they get it to work. With the uncertainties in rocket fuel, I'm glad they took it a simpler method and made it launch as to use a sophisticated mechanism in which ten thousand things can get wrong. We're not far away from the finale, but I hope the science doesn't end. Really, poop rocket. If they every invent a way to manufacture that on the Space Station that'll be useful. Even for heating purposes.

I am thinking of other things to put on this section, especially with MythBusters being the last season and this section will probably cease to exist. I mean, I watch a fair bit of YouTube comedy.

This Week on Klassic Note
This week presents many releases, probably the most in this couple of months. Firstly, I must tell you guys that Tomacchan's new single, contrast to my first impressions of the audio previews, are heading my way. And that is good news. Probably will do the review after next week because as I mentioned above, I'm going to be busy. KANA-BOON's new album is less disappointing than their previous one after I heard them first from last year, but then that doesn't mean I took half of album of songs or something like that. I've definitely given a couple more songs from Kuso Iinkai's new album as mentioned last week, and I've also given Goose house member Tanezawa Migiwa's new mini-album a chance. Not bad, but pretty similar as when I reviewed her other albums about two years ago. So I ended up just giving one. Probably another one if I have the mood. I need emotional songs. Too much of the super high ones already. I'm an emotional person. And VELTPUNCH is not coming up with new songs. *sob*

Next week also brings a couple of releases, namely Sayuri's 2nd single because of the Anime (which I heard a PV Preview which sounds NOTHING like the one in the Anime), nano.RIPE's new single if I ever had the mood to listen to it, and probably yanaginagi's new single because I thought I have to. I mean, I already thrown fhana's new single which was an Anime theme song out of the window; I doubt these two will have a chance. But still.

This is it then. I don't have much time to do my weekly maintenance and backup on my computer. Cya guys next week then, and when things finally die down for my term break, then probably we'll have more time to chat. (Watching Anime all on Sunday is not good because I prefer sleeping all day lol) Until next time... I hope you're fine. I'm not in tip-top condition, but then the doctor visit will also probably have to wait until next week. Bye!

[P.S.: A lot of Aki-chan, some Mina-chan, and some Tomacchan. Don't you worry because that last girl I mentioned is going to take over my phone for next week.

Too bad the special gift will not appear by that time, so Mikakoshi will take the weekend. Well, that's the plan. Recently also been hooked with Aki-chan, I don't know why. New album hype?]

Saturday 20 February 2016

For others, solitude may be an illness. But for me, social interaction is an illness.

It's like being on drugs (not like I've been taking them) - you get high and the hangover time is not short. You kind of get tired after a while. Good thing is I don't desire for more, unlike many "social addicts".

Friday 19 February 2016

If only our birthday grants us total freedom of speech as a kid would, that will make us appreciate our days a little more, I guess.

Happy birthday to me~ LOL that new friend don't get what I mean when you do this rhetorically. Anyways, just sets me thinking about freedom. Just a little bit.

Thursday 18 February 2016

Because it's not all about the body, it's about the soul. But then as the body is insulted, so will the soul.

Think twice when you insult someone when you see them the next time, yes? Don't say I taught you this one haha

Wednesday 17 February 2016

Is it possible to always balance an impression by compensating a bad one with a good one and vice versa?

I think we can. I mean, given enough time you can. But I'm not talking about that, like when there is only once chance, or a short time, or people are just jerks and you get agony in return. (Refer to my definition on agony lol)

Tuesday 16 February 2016

If the only thing you entrust to others is what you lack knowledge of, then you are not giving anyone a chance.

I find out that this happens especially within family, where parents do not entrust the kids to do things for them until they are unable to do so, for example in today's context, technology. Every time it gets me, seriously.

One can't possibly afford to pay for all entertainment today

Not because I'm a pirate of content or I only use free content, but then again it's quite true. If we have to pay for every performance and entertainment service today, the biggest problem would be the budget. It's difficult to feed the constant desire to find more enjoyable things to have. We can watch more paid movies, but we can only watch that much. Just like everything else in this world now.

Sunday 14 February 2016

I guess that is the problem: It's not because you can't, but because they can.

Just because "you mean the world to me" doesn't mean she will just stop everything because of you, dear boy. Women have a lot on their mind, and their multitasking power is beyond us. So when you want to throw away everything for a certain someone, consider if that will happen vice versa too.

Happy Valentine's Day.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #7

Because I spent my Sunday outdoors and haven't watched anything before that as I'm waiting for Dagashi Kashi to have a weekly Anime marathon. Not possible this time, I guess.

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: We meet with another episode of a life lesson, which is using power at the wrong time and... ending up having to save the poor. Okay, not that I don't know of the lessons here unlike the old Sakura-chan, but then again we know it's a mistake. And this level of repayment may be a little too perfect, as the old kind Principal - which is also a victim - mentioned on his evaluation of the campus two weeks later. Also, Karma kicked many students in the ass for the mid-terms of the second half of the final year (just in case anyone is lost in time for this show), which is merely just a small getting back at the tops because these kids had the excuse not to study. Oh well. Rivalry can always take a second chance, besides we still have a couple more episodes to go. Which also means it's not long. But I have a feeling that Koro-sensei won't destroy Earth, and the world won't have to kill him anymore. But then that is always a touching ending, so I'll leave the production responsible for that if it ever happens.
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: It's halfway already and yet we have more questions to answer.
That is to not say there aren't any questions answered, but then again they are not much. We now know that the crimes of this serial murderer and kidnapper is still investigated by Satoru mother's colleague, and I'm still glad that he still isn't dead yet? Oh well. That and again, Airi is one lucky girl to have potentially escaped death TWICE. I say twice because it's likely she'll not be involved in this again. I mean, if we get an apprehended Satoru and the supposed killer staging the police arrest at the same time, what do you get? Nothing, perhaps. But then again external factors may have been enough (had it not been Airi who tried to meet with Satoru only to find satisfaction and trust) to arrest the culprit, which I have a feeling we might be looking at the whole time. You know. Only he can go through the Revival phenomenon and every time he does that he has time to get back to fix things. Only that probably the one fixing is the present him, which also makes him victim to another of him, which is possible. Really, seeing all those unrealistic stuff in like, the first episode. More questions to ask, and it's creepy, fitting of a mystery story at least. So I guess it's great? More than ever am I focusing on the music and soundtrack in this show (if you still need credit Kajiura-sensei... there you go haha), and I think this will have a befitting ending. Just like Airi, I trust the author and Aniplex (anime production) to give a proper conclusion. And as far as I know, the murderer is no doubt one of the five as listed. I may be wrong, thinking that all this was just his own doing, although that has happened before in drama.
(Sorry for being so long-winded; a lot goes through my mind for such a show, if it isn't this fast-paced)
[Dagashi Kashi: Due to my inability to listen to Japanese, I'm afraid I'll have to hold the latest episode till next week while I salivate to the Twitter images I see online. No sweets this week, kids.]

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Remember that cat form of Yoruichi? It has come back to bite her. Get it? Anyways, we now know of the five beings to be feared in the eyes of the Quincy lord (of course this means these are Kubo's trump cards and excuses to make this story go on no matter what lol), and apparently Urahara-sensei's one is of wisdom. The temporary cure is not going to last very long, ad Yoruichi is apparently motivated to fight? I don't know. Don't ask me about the relationship between these two, but then the next chapter should teach us what the God of Flash means to all of us, Soifon, and those people in the West. Yes, the real Flash can go ran to his own ass and do himself now. *laughs*

SHOW
MythBusters: What a blast. Apparently their solution to a failure is just to... revisit it again. I thought they have done this before. *silence* Okay, I'm dumb. Anyways, we have more than 2 myths to test, which is always a good thing, since they always test two myths and call it a day in recent seasons anyway. Drifting is sure to cause another rage of comments again just because it's not even. You can say Adam and Jamie are even in skill, but then tiring one of them out may be a better solution. Seriously, what can you do? *sighs* Also, shooting a fishtank with a shotgun sounds like a good idea  to stand far away and get some protection (which maybe too far for many), and technical failure is ALWAYS an option, I may say. And really, who's stupid idea to stand in between two explosions? In any practical sense you'll be double dead. Oh well, what to do? Good thing I won't be in agony over fan revisits after this season, especially if this is the last. *sob* But still, nice episode. I'm still missing that MythBustStore episode last week haha

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
Quite a lot came out this week. Kuso Iinkai's new album showed up, and it isn't disappointing. What is more disappointing is the change in melody, because it's more distinct meaning it feels more... normal. Which is fine, I like normal songs. I'm just stuck in between two new songs I want to give after the topic song (which the music video you should watch on YouTube) in which one is weak at verses and one is weak at the chorus. Goddammit why I have to make these tough decisions every year. Which probably will mean I'll give both by the end of next week. But not this week. More surprisingly, Kuso Iinkai's latest mini-album which was already released like, half a year ago, suddenly surfaced. I haven't gave time to listen to it yet, but from last year's impression from the previews they are not bad. TrySail's 3rd single is also released this week, and I'm holding the B-side for their upcoming album (if any) just because I can. And I haven't even seem the cute music video for the A-side yet... Oh well. I've given Tokyo Karan Koron's new album another song, and I'm not close to confirming anything for pre-order yet.

This is because next week is the release for Tomacchan's new single, in which they are not safe to give per se, but then again I guess I'll probably still get it by next week. We shall see. KANA-BOON's long-awaited album will also release next week, so that's going to get a whole lot of rock music coming my way. *laughs* To add to future releases, Yoru no Honki Dance will release a new album under a major label?? Hell yeah and it's Victor (if you know Sambomaster, SPECIAL OTHERS), which means they are in great hands. No doubt I'm drowning in new songs, and I'm still listening to new songs, and am intending to go through a hell of a list of indie songs ever since I found metro polica, but that is another week when I'm free of releases. Which in my opinion might be next month. Fingers crossed.

This is it then. It's rather late in my biological and I suggest I sleep early for tomorrow (haha), so... you know. Cya guys next week, I guess. And... if you need some love, I shall give a middle finger to that guy Valentine and tell you that... love does not need to come from a certain someone. It can be everyone. Good night.

===GUYS WHO HAVE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER CAN LOOK AWAY NOW===

[P.S.: On the bright side, to make you guys happy (sorry female readers, if any, or even any readers), here's Ayachi for CNY (YESH!), Aoi-chan for the other days I'm in school this week, and Mina-chan for the weekend!

I'm satisfied. Seriously. I love Ayachi. That is an undeniable fact by now. *laughs* Really. *giggles*]
[P.P.S: You guys saw the stunt Mikakoshi pulled today? Must be a failed attempt at making chocolate, I guess. (Audience: Did she fail at making it so bad or what...) *giggles hardly*

Her too. I love. I'm trying to follow on Twitter her friend Uesaka "Sumipe" Sumire too, but that I don't have a reason. Yet.]

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #6

It's festive, but I'm tired now. Well, I guess shopping with your sis does contribute to that. *laughs* Not an everyday thing, but I still do it. Anyways, let's get to it.

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: What another great episode, yes? We learnt of... leadership? And not losing? Ever? I mean, losing is hard. It is tough. But then again there is reason to lose. And learning from losing can go extreme ways. This father-son relationship also reminds me of Magata Shiki and her daughter from Anime "Subete ga F ni Naru", which show inheritance but the kids reaching a different understanding and never having that extreme sense that their parents will ever have. And thus, Asano-kun (the kid) will likely be an ally in the future as he rids of his father to take over him in the future. I mean, that old f*ck's days are going to be numbered, that jerk. (Sorry, cannot help) (Hayami Show, great job again for making me pissed off at you *spits* *laughs*) Meanwhile, I'm going to laugh a lot on Koro-sensei's parent enthusiasm (like as if he doesn't want to be a father) and those terrible, terrible English conversations. Yep, they hired a foreigner for that exchange student. (check the credits, I'm not wrong) The rest... I rather not talk about them. *laughs hardly*
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi: Wait, what the hell is wrong with this show??
Am I already stuck watching a killer who is also an abductor and a psycho? And then? Okay, first things first. We now know this show is mostly going to stay in the present for now, which is good news because I thought Satoru is going to get stuck in history for some time, repeating his mistakes, as I said, like Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, but it is not so. He returns to present time to solve his own suspect of crime, and Airi chose to believe him, which is good for him, but not for that too honest of a manager, and that too suspicious of an investigator who was talking to him on the shop. The honest man maybe inclined to help the police, but then again this may have to be solved independently which means... it's all according to plan. The killer (whoever he is), is killing the mother who knows a lot, talking her belongings, framing it on the next person who appears who is likely the son, and cutting all connections of the crime in the process. Why that guy hasn't killed Satoru in any way, I don't know. I just hope it's not a test of intelligence (please, Shiki, not this show) but more of an elimination of crime as an achievement. You know. Those "I did something and didn't get caught by the police" part, even though I think Satoru doesn't know much seeing the fact that he's still well alive. This show maybe a little extreme (girl beating up that grown-up of a man), it may be a bit of a mindf*ck for now (that's what all mystery shows are anyway), but then I see a future. That Satoru maybe going back to the past again, Kayo's parents unlikely to change their decision to let a third-party get rid of their only kid from the shed again, and probably Satoru will have to get caught for the police to solve a bigger thing. Too bad this is all we know, the show doesn't introduce anyone in law enforcement, so I guess this shall be it. Man, I can't wait to watch the next episode. So hyped for a mystery show... I must say this show has done well.
Dagashi Kashi: Anything, you know? Hotaru-san? For fanservice???
Okay, this week's episode. Plenty of laughs it seems with You-san on the helm, as they talk about fake drugs, wasting money on stocking for the shop, and gambling. Wow, all the things you shouldn't waste on in life. Oh well, at least it's not wasteful to watch this show, I can guarantee that. You-san's YouCHUBE channel was boosted with his son accidentally on video, and Hotaru is a bad loser, and a sore one too. Talk about having no luck at all. Also, if Hotaru wasn't running away from that gamble at the end, then we better see some fanservice next episode. Really. You lost a bet, Hotaru-san. If you don't undress I'll have to imagine the undressing lol

漫画
MANGA
Amari Mawari: Family love, yes?
Well, I mean, Amari isn't much younger than Haru anyway, so sure, he'll wait until she's grown up (which isn't very long, I think), or just let her soak in the sparky-ness for now. Seriously, just bring her to the barber's. She'll willingly watch him get his hair cut and clean up the hair after him when he's done. How's that for a sparkling hair fetish? The perfect scenario. Also, perfect couple? kuroda bb-sensei, you've done it. This IS a romance story.
BLEACH: Another chapter. I have a feeling we're close to the end, ever since this reveal thing about Ishida so casually brought out. We of course can assume that the Quincy leader is at his weakest now (by weak I mean without foretelling powers; he still can kill a Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni), so Ichigo and the others are heading towards there. Ishida is probably going to be worse off than when he assured Ichigo, but that I don't worry. Can't wait to see some (pure) Quincy action! (Yeah I miss those times where bow and arrows are awesome) Also, Chad seems to pair up with Ganju (remember that sand guy?) to fight a sand army. Well I guess that'll be easy for the latter, but then again how easy can it get? We shall see. Loved it when things are picking up, but then again that "light at the end of the tunnel" thing... either it's very dim a light, or the end is very far away. Like, fairytale-type of far.

SHOW
MythBusters: What does it take to build your own store? Well, apparently doing a science TV show will get you one. The guys test two myths involving the most humane thing they have used in experiments: the volunteers. They've gone through shit, and this one is not different either. The re-test on zombie killing is cool, and Adam carrying fake, light chainsaw killing zombies is still freaking cool. (Because I know how it weighs, and it is worse than an axe) The shop queueing myth is the one I've been waiting for since I saw the season preview, and I'm happy. Just seeing Adam and Jamie joining in the queue is a joy. I've been satisfied. Thanks, guys.

This Week on Klassic Note
This week has been quiet, as I mentioned last week, so I went on a journey. Well, Audioleaf is an old friend by now, so I won't say much about being new or whatever. But knowing new artists are great. I ended up listening to AMV and music band metro polica and their nice pop songs, which they did Anime Music Videos (just in case no one knows what that means) for KimiUso (you know this show, right?) and Madoka Magica, which I cared less of the latter. I'm close to getting a single from an indie artist, but then again as per requirements I'm missing one more track, so maybe next time. I'm intending to give iki's latest single from last year a chance because I enjoy their style, so I'll hold on to it for now. I just got hold on to Tokyo Karan Koron's new album, and initial impressions aren't strong. I'll probably give another song other than that song which should've been the first song for this year.

Next week is Kuso Iinkai's new album release, and that is going to be tough to wait for, so I'm fingers crossed on this. I'll probably go on other "pilgrimages" in search for the unique melody, but since I'm in a couple of holidays we shall see about that. This few weeks are pretty empty in terms of new songs release. If you want me to include people I know... that's not a lot, unfortunately.

This is it then. I'm tired, and I think I know why. I'm appreciating and treasuring my sleep now, and you guys should too. My enthusiasm seems to have peaked, and I'm not done with things yet. I'm considering shifting my shelf to boxes so I can avoid cleaning the dust off them from time to time, and I'll make myself spend more time to listen to them. Like, in disc form. Maybe I'm envisioning myself to be like that old, retired dude who has all the vinyls, sitting down on a rocking chair listening to classical music, enjoying life. Just I'm listening to pop music from Japan, and it's CDs and a very basic player, so I hope that will do for now. Cya guys then, and until next week... Happy Chinese New Year. Life after these few days of holidays is not going to be hectic.

[P.S.: I don't have people wearing Chinese outfits, especially if you talk about Japanese. But you know. Ten-chan.

Yes, that Ayachi's special gift photo is going to join me for the holidays. Yesh.]

The Klassic Note Review 2016.02 Issue 1

Hey! And I'm not any queen. But then I have two "queens" here with their latest singles which I'm going to share here, and also both from the Anime "Dagashi Kashi", and in case you haven't watched yet, the songs are better than the show. Which is good news, draws the crowds in. Now that I have them on the shelf, I guess I have to tell you why they are good. Or you may not even watch the show. (oops)

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
MICHI - Checkmate!? [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Clearly the Limited Edition cover is nicer. If only they can stop making those Anime Regular Edition covers. But then again, I settled on that two years ago already)

Origin: She's a newbie, she's not to be confused with another famous singer with the same name which I don't bother to type it out (because it sucks), and she has a great voice. After her debut from last year for her first single, she brings her 2nd single to this Anime, and if you think she's an Anime singer, she is, as written on the CD booklet. Other than that, I have no much background of her. She's new, and she deserves a chance. Well, the songs deserve as much a chance as her, I would say.

(1) Checkmate!?
Not my type of song, and even worse, first impressions aren't great. Not mixing in or even tailor-made for the Anime itself (well the show is something else, but I will not talk about it here), this song just turns out to be a jazzy tune promoting the singer. And I feel that. Not only she's doing it well, the lyrics are suggestively... complex. Finding out that Elements Garden (recall sphere's "NEVER ENDING PARTY!!!!", Mina-chan's "pretty fever") is behind this release, I then felt that vibe coming out from their composition once again, and think overall this is a good song. It suffers from the usual bridge-part-of-the-song pitfalls, but then I forgive that and enjoyed the tune, all in all.
Rating: 4 stars (Less Than Average)

(2) Infinity
Of course, as always, it's the B-side that takes the win and gets credit for being on my shelf. What's good about this song? It's catchy. It's easy listening. It's some rock music. It even reminds me of that singer in UNLIMITS, especially with MICHI's less-than-deep voice and the fast-paced melody and lyrics, this song is definitely well done. If a song is easy to remember, then it must be a good song.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

Conclusion: All in all, this is an average single, in my opinion. It has suffered setbacks for being less than desirable, but I managed to give it after many more listens, which is still good by my standards. Support this newbie singer on the rise, and enjoy this with the Anime, thinking if it has a relation or ever strikes a beat in your heart about it. Fort me, it's not much. But it's worth a try for making MICHI stand out in the crowd with this new release. That is probably what matters.

Taketatsu Ayana - Hey! Calorie Queen [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(I wish the Regular Edition is also like this, but less of the donut but more of her. Can that happen? *smiles*)

Origin: Wow when was the last time I got another single from Taketatsu "Ayachi" Ayana on my shelf? If you're unfamiliar with this voice actor who coincidentally also acts in the credited Anime, then you need to spend more time watching some 2D stuff. She's not unfamiliar in Klassic Note, and I reviewed another one of her singles two years, and only missing one, I'm already here with another one. Effort is seen from her making the songs sound great, and I support her for doing so. Tying in well with the Anime, this single is compatible to her and everything in many ways than other.

(1) Hey! Calorie Queen
All hail the new generation of royalty, and this time it's sweets. Picking the best topic in the world to create a song on, I must say the composer (also the producer) took advantage of this and made the most festival-like catchy tune I have ever heard for an Anime like this. Making Ayachi the "queen", singing lyrics that suggest we can be the "sweets" for her to taste... this song goes a long way. All in all, this song brings out the essence of the show, albeit in a different style, making it less than expected in my opinion. Song structure error is also present here, but can be easily forgiven hearing Ayachi sing, you know, because she sounds too appropriate for it.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Asayake to Yakusoku no Uta [Song of Sunrise and Promise]
Typically people who use the word "song" in a song don't sound too creative, but then you haven't heard the rest of the song. Okii Reiji has been under the microscope of Klassic Note for some time now (even the TWEEDEES band name he created last year is under the credits after his name now), and before that has been in many bands, and an active producer for Ayachi's singing career. Giving this song multiple listens brings out his usual quirky yet subtle style of music, and the meaningful lyrics somehow got into me. Overall a very nice song with progression, and no doubt that reason I needed to give this single the thumbs up.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

Conclusion: This is a great single. If you want me to compare to the previous one I reviewed (from Anime "Denki-gai no Honya-san", I can only say they are different. This one packs a lot of punch, and the B-side is a nice listen, especially coming from this particular composer. Definitely worth a listen in my opinion, and if you're a fan of Ayachi, I guess you're already listening to it some way of other. I like it. Ayachi. And also this release.

THE PACKAGE
Still surprised I underestimated the delivery date, so it was supposed to be tomorrow but luckily came in today. Both singles have special gifts along with them, and MICHI's single also had an Anime sticker which is the same as the cover itself. The close-up on MICHI-san is great on her single, and I wish someone can translate that warning section of the booklet, because it says many things that are not supposed to be on a CD, and I think also not in any sweets package. A downside here, is that the text in the lyrics are rather small (I'm looking without my glasses this close), and the inside of the booklets for both singles are very similar. Same production, huh. Don't make it too obvious, yes?
MICHI's single... ... And there's Ayachi's "nutrition panel". She is tasty.
(Also, photos taken so badly so I made it less obvious by making them smaller haha. I'm smart.)
(And you bet I thought of which special gift to get, but ended with HMV Japan's instead. MICHI I didn't think that much, so CDJapan would do *laughs)

This is all, then. I'm tired after a whole week of study, and I still have an early morning to go, so I'll wrap this up so I can sleep. Which is also why I intend to do this tomorrow, but then since it appeared here then I couldn't resist. Which one to prefer? Oh please don't make me choose between them. (It's Ayachi BTW haha)

We never lead the life that is not us. That is why our opinions are also not at its best.

Just reading an article on education drop off rate and thinking of what that means to those people. Because clearly that doesn't mean they are dumb, because intelligence has no limit, and it mostly limited by our own character and values, right? That's what I think, though.

Klassic Note 2017: The Re-Evaluation??

Why, a re-evaluation??

2017 is still quite far away from now, but then again it's not that far. Back then in 2013-2014 after the awesome 5th year that is Klassic Note back in 2012, I've already thought about things. I'm wondering with the increase of songs how am I going to continue maintaining my standard for giving star ratings for songs. And for recent years this has become a problem. And remember, it's not my fault.
Okay, by now I'd like to attribute the results of this rating system as shown above to my fault. The number of 4-star songs have never decreased, which also draws in my idea of how good the songs are within the generic ratings, which is not a good representation of what I like, especially in 2015, when deciding for the Top 20 is so compelling. So, I'd like to "correct" myself. I noticed ratings from 2008 and 2009 are too unbiased due to a limited amount of songs and artists, so I have been, in recent days whenever I can, been looking at reasons why I give 5-star songs, and also why I give 3-star songs so easily. And after some research through songs from the year 2010 like, just now (lol I know), I then looked back at my list of songs from last year and even this year and thought "this song should've been 5-stars", and that made me think a lot. In my opinion, more songs do deserve the higher ratings, especially when you hear them again in future years.

Therefore, for the tenth year for Klassic Note, I'm going to be generous instead of skimpy. Instead of bringing down the requirements for 5-star and 3-star songs, I'm going to attempt to bring UP the requirements and give more songs the chance to move around the ratings scale, even though it's just within three values. Nonetheless, this shall be a thing, and I'm likely going to do up a final report which will be independent on Hall of Fame document, and of all surveys until 2017. (Note to self...) Until then, I'll try to be more informed and aware of giving first impression ratings and consider to give 5-star songs (especially) whenever possible.

I think I'll forget this in a short time, but hopefully not. I have many plans for the 10th year, so don't you worry; I'm not planning to tell you guys anything about it yet. *laughs* Until next time, I think I may have to give that song which is ringing in my mind recently 5-stars...

Recollection is nothing but a mirage of your current self.

Makes me think every time I see someone who behaves like me when I was a kid. Pretty creepy, if you ask me.
