Tenth Book Worth of Photos: The Route to Love, From The End and Beyond

As you can see, I tried real hard to incorporate all my feelings for Akarin and the past nine books on this one haha happy early birthday to me btw let's try to finish within these two days haha

Okay, the last photobook review of my life. Hey, don't quote me on this for I like to break promises considering I did say it's only for last year and we're in 2020 and I'm STILL reviewing photobooks haha I promise this is the last for now. So, let's end with a bang! And boy do we have someone to end with here. I... I like her so much I think I'm obsessed with this girl, Kitou Akari. What do I do now haha ask yourself what I did when I was crazing over Toyosaki Aki a decade ago lol "this is my first date too" lmao let's get into it before I go bonkers




THE ORIGIN
Like most of the photobooks I've reviewed over this... series worth of photos, she is a voice actress. Kitou Akari, or Akarin as they (and I) would like to call her, is... lovely. Uh oh, I think I ran out of words to say now, so let's talk about history. It all started, as usual, with a tsundere character she voices in Anime "Blend.S" called Hinata Kaho which I promise you that's where most of her fans know her (not that she doesn't have many roles, at least back then), and then we all found out that... she is afraid of horror stuff. *laughs* (YouTube for answers please) And you know, when people find out your weakness that is also a kind of cute which is also part of your beauty, people start going crazy about her as she stars in more and more roles with her adorable voice- I'm describing a normal fan behaviour anyways definitely not talking about myself haha. A couple of years in and somehow her voice acting has gotten producers interested, and so the pace in her career in the Anime industry kicks off with opening of her social media accounts and announcing her single debut due October 2019 (I reviewed her 1st single here), and the announcement of this, her first photobook. It was then I could not help but am already prepared to pre-order her book but I did not. Not that her looks is holding me back, no, (Akarin I promise you, you are totally my type haha), but I decided to wait for a little while until the special gifts got revealed. And also, to allow those who can go to her signing in Japan to pre-order as that was one of the gifts was a chance to meet her, so I, as the kind guy I am (lol), did not choose to spoil another chance at letting people talk to her for 20 seconds. *silence* *sob* Akarin can you appear in my dreams pwetty pwease?


THE REVIEW

Kitou Akari 1st Photobook "Love Route"

This is a pre-order, so naturally you will get all the gifts or additional stuff that comes with it, at the same retail price, which is quite a deal. Also, it wasn't too difficult to make a decision because apart from Gamers who is literally selling this with at least TWO special gifts, I don't have to decide much since I would naturally choose this online store over many others. Hey, that's what happens when you collaborate with the magazine company itself haha. Come on, it comes with a special bromide photo, an A2-sized poster... what more do you want? Well, there's more at a higher tier (tapestry and acrylic mini-figure of Akarin??) but I stopped here just because. Again, I'm reviewing the basic tier btw there isn't a cheaper version of it in this store. Okay, we need to dive into this real quick I need my constant dose of Akarin lol

But first... UNBOXING HYPE!!! *cheers*

As mentioned in the title itself, Akarin brings us to her world where she... shows us how to fall in love with her. Yeah, this doesn't get any more elaborate somehow, I hate to admit. And I'm not even exaggerating when I say "and beyond" in the title of this post. I mean, she's in a wedding gown, man. Still, if this photobook only makes me like her more I'm not going to deny it especially after looking through it Akarin proves to us that gravure is not necessary (lol sorry but why no) to be able to display her beauty, and I like that. I really do.

Just in case you don't know the genius that is Kitou Akari, she worked part-time during her student days as an illustrator, so don't be surprised when you see a couple of her hand-drawn images in this book; they are really good though, she has the talent. Sadly, her passion for voice acting the people she drew is bigger which explains her current job now. Her drawing skills will be taken as a side hobby very seriously by the talent company haha they will get this

Okay, it appears that there is a difference between the one inside the photobook and outside of the photobook (refer to THE EXTRAS for details), but I assume you do get more from pre-ordering since this one is inside every copy- IS THIS ANOTHER POSTER FOLDED INSIDE OF THE BOOK?? （・□・）

Okay we have seen this before it's literally the cover but the other side is my new favourite now

Since it's my first photobook, I got really worried in many aspects but I did try out a lot of situations (for images). I really enjoyed the photo shoot!

The point that I was given the opportunity to be a voice actress
I never thought that it was possible for me to come out with a photobook at any point (of her career) and I could not believe it...

Yes, this is her monthly serialisation from magazine "Seiyuu Paradise R" which started from end of 2017 (surprisingly also the time when "Blend.S" was airing) featuring her in various roles and/or famous figures similar to Kouno Marika's first serialisation in the magazine. Coincidence? If that is not so then how are we going to get all these cosplays? *giggles*

Just as we've seen in Kouno Marika's photobook (search "Fourth Book Worth of Photos"), this one also comes with a survey where you answer a couple of questions, mail them back and stand a chance to win a signed polaroid from her! As attractive as it sounds, it'll take quite a lot to send this to Japan provided I can even fill this up in Japanese writing haha I might just do it

(I mean, is it a surprise when the marriage is literally the cover? lol)

So... what do you think? I mean, it's not all perfect but I'll take imperfections from this lovely girl I'm in too deep already lol. Besides, today her is a beauty, and I'll take that. If you need a definition on what type I like she's totally my type btw haha I guess I said it sorry Nan-chan and Ten-chan whom I intend to marry she got to me first (>_<)


THE EXTRAS
As mentioned somewhere above, the Gamers edition of this photobook comes with several gifts which I must say is totally worth the purchase (even over that selfie mini photobook of Sumipe's), and as you have seen in the review I may have gotten way more than I expected, so let's go through all of them!

Man, that is a lot haha worth the ripoff from shipping already

Firstly, what was written outside of the book, as stated in the store page listing: A bromide photo which is dependent on store in which for Gamers is random from 5 but only 2 have been revealed and of course with my luck I got one of the 2, and (Observe the fold on the cover, bottom right is bromide, and bottom left is) a BIG A2-sized poster of Akarin in a wedding dress. This is awesome haha you think I'll consider another store now?? Haha

We all deserve to get married to her so you can zoom in in all its glory

Then, there's the surprises inside of the book, as entitled to First Press Editions of all the photobooks which is likely in stock if you buy now maybe: a bromide photo which I assume is included inside of any of the First Press photobooks (even if it's shipped to Singapore and left on the shelf for months and some lucky broke got it for his friend) (refer to Fourth Book Worth of Photos haha), and a B2-sized poster folded and slotted into the book. This one was a surprise, as you can see in the above review.

So total, it's FOUR gifts, and if you want to include the two-sided poster, FIVE. You don't know how much happiness I am in right now~ *giggles*

Oh also, let's talk about the complimentary Gamers magazine that always comes with every purchase from their online store (I assume retail too) which features someone I don't know of:

THE INTERVIEW
As with most photobooks I have reviewed, there is an interview in this one because why not know more about her in paragraphs of Japanese text which I have to translate a summary to you guys after spending hours understanding what was written? Here we go then, is a list of the important points you need to know about Akarin and the photo shoot itself provided she is not as long-winded as Anzai Chika haha:

• Kitou Akari was born 16th October 1994; her name came about from her parents wanting her to be cheerfully brought up and specifically her dad wants her to shine in everything she does, and this the name "Aka-ri" was formed. Akarin said her as a kid is one who somehow is not afraid to chat up to strangers. She listed an example where her mother would be shopping at the supermarket and she'll be talking to some random old man on the street. (lol really)
• Akarin went through a chuunibyou (ie. rebellious) phase too but in the form of appearance. Around the end of elementary school she began to dress up in more gentlemanly outfits including pants and keeping her hair short and wearing black shirts with skulls.
• She is probably influenced a lot from manga and/or anime, stating that she reads a lot of shounen manga and watched a lot of shows back then. (As a female you'll probably prefer shoujo genres, where it's those lovey-dovey prince saves princess plots, not the male-preferred shounen genres where action and harem genres take the lead)
• She has a younger sister (hello sister-in-law, haha), and his dad would spoil them by buying manga for them to read because he's a big fan of them himself. Normally he would buy the first volume for Akarin and say "this is rather interesting" and then she will end up having to buy the rest herself. (lol the dad is like a living advertisement God Akarin I love your father already oh hi dad haha)
• Her favourites in manga include (get ready weebs) "HUNTER x HUNTER", "BLEACH" (Yo~!! haha), "D.Gray-Man", and specifically likes more of "Air Gear". (Feel free to find out about these series which were popular a decade ago lol)
• Middle school Akarin was hooked into the Internet. (lol who doesn't? FYI that's around 2005-2006) She would always browse the Internet by borrowing her dad's PC and (I asssume laptop because) she would also learn her illustrations on them.
• She decided on becoming a voice actress only close to graduation during her high school days. This was when she had to decide on her future path, but her dad dropped the bomb on her and said "get your own money or a scholarship to get into college (university)" and did not provide her the funds to do so because he doesn't have them. (Hey, no one said their family was rich the dad spent it on manga) (Haha, a true manga fan) So that was when Akarin had to make a different choice in education, and she chose to pursue her dream of being a voice actress as a way to allow her to complete her education, so she gave up on that for this dream. (Aw...) She did mention that she would like to challenge herself (to go to college) if she could in the future. (Oh it's those Kotobuki Minako 1-year hiatus again lol)
• So in the end, the parents did not give her allowance for a year, she worked for half a year part-time but could not get nearly enough funds to do anything (probably enough to go by tbh), but it was also then her talent company Pro Fit was recruiting members biannually and so the parents allowed her to "take this challenge for once" with tears in their eyes. She eventually passed, and got into the company itself. (Again, a true genius haha)
• She says her parents really treat her with respect on the decisions she makes in life. They had the "do it with your own efforts" kind of mindset. Even when she was part-timing as an illustrator and got recommended by friends online to meet up outside town and stuff, her parents would be "if you can pay for your own expenses you can go" and she did. (The best kind of parents) She felt that is how she ended up paving the "route" of life for herself. She said if not for such parents and they would give her all the money she would just do things without much thought. (Yeah you looking at a live example right here, but then again I think it's also me being a pussy haha)
• Since she started getting work as soon as she entered her talent company, her student life soon became empty as it was filled with work. (Refer to Kohara Rin, from "Sore ga Seiyuu!") And as soon as she graduated, she had to go into city (ie. Tokyo), so in the process she lost a lot of friends and felt the pains of having to meet new people in another society. Since she was not confident in her skills as a voice actor, her fear of the adults around her only grew stronger. Because she can technically not listen to adults in school ie. teachers and get away with it, but if you go against adults out there you'll be done for. This is what made her shrink even further in the face of society.
• Her first Anime role back in 2014 was in "Rokujouma no Shinryakusha!?" (as Aika Maki, supporting character), and as one of the villians to the main character, she got a solid two episodes worth of dialogue, and she felt that it was hard. Since she got her role real quick, she didn't have time to familiarise herself with the studio, so she had to learn everything from scratch, which got her real nervous at the time. She was in the "fear of adults" feels too, so she said she could barely remember anything from it. (Haha man that is rough) She was living in anticipation of this recording to end as soon as possible, sort of attitude.
• Her break from being... afraid of adults came in 2016 from Anime "Boku Dake ga Inai Machi" (ie. "ERASED" because I did watch that, really don't know she was in it though) (I mean, there was Yuuki Aoi-chan haha), and in "Time Bokan 24" as one of the two main roles, and it was because she was practically surrounded by veterans that she started to learn a lot from them. She felt that these provided a good step up into overcoming that fear.
• On asking what she treasured in her voice actress career, (I don't think she is answering the question lol, but) she said she was the type that likes to think a lot about her work. Even in school with math she can think all day about the equations and in the test, and yet in the end she still could not get it anyways.
• She was serious about her work, but sometimes the production would give her directions on how to do it but she still would not get as to why, and practised too much from overthinking such things. Because she felt that inspiration is vital to expression of voices in Anime (quite true), but she did follow the directions told to her accordingly and learnt how to adapt to the recording which in turn increased her confidence on the job.
• She would like to work on different roles that would last. (I assume like, from series with sequels, say "KonoSuba") Also, roles that were thought to be perfect for her were also preferred by her. She can't really picture how the roles would fit from watching the Anime (its original work, I assume), so this would come as a surprise.
• On talking about the photobook, the interviewer mentioned on the photobook has a story starting from her hometown (so that is the Aichi prefecture), pursuing of dreams, and to the extent of being tied to the person you love forever... a sort of self-searching type of travelling photobook.
• They started shooting on summer of 2019 in (a) Chinatown, where it was surprisingly crowded on the day of the shoot, up on a sunny summer day. It was also her first time shooting in such a situation, even if she may have worked on part-time jobs which involve standing outside in the crowd, especially in Chinatown, so it was fresh to her.
• The China outfit was from her favourite brand "Lily Brown", so she got real hyped to have worn it. They also got to enjoy Chinese food at one of the restaurants there. (They were shooting in there too, so...) "The mini steamed buns were delicious" haha lol
• The interviewer recalled at that time it was also close to the autumn school festivals. (when most high school festivals happen, around October)
• On mention of going to Chigasaki beach to take photos, (see last image of "Akari no Arika", and her on the surfboard) Akarin said it was quite a while since she went to the beach, since she doesn't really go to the beach in her own time. They had to take her barefooted standing above the waves on her feet, so she felt the history of not doing that for years (when shooting for this photobook). Her own summer ended up not going to the beach or the pool alone because of this. (Oh man, we owe her a summer, boys)
• According to the interviewer, the scene of her playing the guitar was above a cafe at the beach itself, with Mount Fuji behind as background.
• On the scene with the guitar, she totally enjoyed the sunset view there. And (as expected) she cannot play the guitar, and recalled the only time she ever touched an instrument was playing the bass during high school in a band (refer to Anime "K-ON!") (lol it's accurate enough), and that is just her only playing do-re-mi (lmao), but it turned into her getting a vocalist role soon after. (See? She got the vocal talent then)
• According to the interviewer (thanks for the insider info), the wedding dress scene indoors was filmed at Yokohama in Yamate Western area (feel free to Google that, specifically "BERRICK HALL"), and according to Akarin she would like to wear that specific dress design again if she ever gets married (to me) (lmao), but she also learnt of the reality of wearing one, specifically it being tedious and hard to move in when worn. (I give a salute too all women who have to bear this pain for whatever purpose)
• She felt that this (I guess, for wedding photos) is similar to the feel she would want in a wedding. She had friends who had small scale weddings but either she wasn't invited to go (why) or she just didn't have time to go due to work (up in Tokyo), but she wants to go to one. For her, she would like a wedding set in a church (uh oh, time to be Christian) (haha) as she thinks she doesn't look good in traditional (I assume, Japanese wedding) outfits. (Okay NOW we need to see it haha)
• The interviewer retorted her real quick (haha I like this guy), stating her in the red one-piece she had to wear for the shooting (okay I don't know which one this was referring to tbh) looked good on her. She replied that she looked girly in that and with the sunglasses on she laughed at how she looked.
• In the scenes where she shot with the white hoodie in Yamashita Park (thanks interviewer Google Lens didn't work on my camera shots of the book lol), Akarin mentioned it was hot then. But then again they got ice cream for her. (Haha hey they gotta) It was her favourite grape flavour (*note taking*) but it melted real fast under the hot weather so it was kinda bad that she had to eat it up quickly so it wouldn't dirty her outfit.
• On the scenes where she was in a bedroom wearing with her usual roomwear (thanks interviewer, I'm taking notes haha) (FYI "Make-Up" section of the book) with navy colour short pants (they are very short hehe) was actually a set with the blouse, and even came with the eye mask, according to Akarin. It was staple of her to shop for roomwear often since she likes to watch TV at night in her room wearing cute roomwear. (*actively imagining* Oh wait isn't this it? Haha)
• On talking about her wearing the one navy blue dress, she says she likes clothing that bring out the dressy feel. (Refer to her Tweet on how much she liked it; she liked it so much she went back without changing out haha) It was also the last day of the photo shoot.
• On being asked about what left the best impression on shooting for the photobook, it was during her time at the beach. It was humid at that time of the year and just walking on the sand is kind of tough. But she got excited on the waves hitting her bare foot. The photo shoot results turned out great too in her opinion.
• The interviewer was impressed (I can infer that this guy is one of the staff, if you haven't noticed) at how she can keep her mood and not look tired throughout the photo shoot, and that is because according to Akarin she was just sleeping on the road trips between shoots. (lol makes sense)
• On being asked on the "journey" aspect on the topic of "journey" and "fate" for the "Love Route", she recalls enjoying the days where she goes out to camp with her family during the summer holidays. She looked forward to it and enjoyed it every year.
• If she had the chance to plan a trip herself, she would like to go overseas, on countries with beautiful streets like Italy and France. She wants to take lots of photos there. She also would like to go to Guam too. She has been overseas several times because of work and hopes to get more of it in the future.
• "On the announcement of the photobook, I thank the fans for the warm voices of support which became power for me. I would be glad if I get to hear of your comments."

THE SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
So, in an attempt to play around with another site builder (sorry not sorry Blogger), here's the overview of the ten books in which I have reviewed till date. There are many stories out there, and this is an adequate summary that all of them deserve each with their own points. The Klassic Note Review 2020.02 Issue 1

New year, new release review that is delayed for about three weeks? Yeah you bet we're starting this year strong!

Welcome guys, to the brand new Klassic Note Review of the year, where we kickstart this series off early with a single review just in the month of January! Man, this has got to be a record. Also, not because I prepared for this to celebrate the 5th year of reviewing songs and putting CDs on my shelf, but you know, I just happened to like another Anime theme song related single again. This time, I... may have gone full circle. How did this happen though? I guess we can talk about it.

Origin: If you wonder how it is a new singer again, you're not alone. Liyuu, in this case, is a Chinese cosplayer who can speak Japanese, which is why I said I may have come full circle in giving this single, by giving a Chinese since I left Chinese songs in the dust. Her debut in Japan in supplemented by the fact that this single is also for the opening theme song of Anime "Hatena Illusion", which, with professional Japanese music producers backing her up, may make this more appealing of a single than it should have. She's not the best singer out there in the Anime industry per se, but she can impress, and that's the kind of magic we are talking about here. Let's dive in further.

(1) Magic Words

"Chasing after, after seeing the traces of tears shining in the light

(Let me) catch, your voice

(Let it be, the) magic words only we know"

It's the Anime credit theme song, it's impressive at first listen when I watched the Anime, and it still hold up even after hearing it in full with the typically dreaded bridge part which was actually good, and this is considered a rarity, to be honest. Not only it has a catchy melody to remember by, the lyrics also bear resemblance to the Anime itself, talking about romance and magic, as if a maiden is falling in love. Production-wise I wouldn't say this technopop style is my thing, but at least it didn't get any worse, and it does make the song sound more appropriate to the Anime and does appeal more to the general audience, so I'm closing one eye on that. Otherwise, it's a song to like.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Anime Average)

(2) Mahou to Gum to Yuuki [Magic and Gum and Courage]

"For (my) first love
(I would like) a passport to convey (my) feelings
Stretching into the pocket, and searching, (I) couldn't find anything"

As usual, this single'e deal-breaker is because of its B-side. This isn't exceptionally outstanding as an awesome song to be frank, but it easily left an impression, which is probably what made me decide to review this single in the first place. The style reminds me of various Anime artists that sing such melodies too, so that is already giving her an edge by following those examples. The melody is simple even up till the bridge part, the beats are good, and the lyrics once again, focusing on falling in love or more on the confession part, I guess. If this is how she confesses to someone I wish she'll do it in Japanese too, and I guess this song is it. The song is as cute as you can see her in.
Rating: 4 stars (Simply Average)

Conclusion: She's new, it might be her only music release in a while considering we're seeing an industry of such talent appear everywhere else in Japan, but she'll be someone to remember when you know of her origins. Still, she's sweet, the presentation of such a solo artist work can only get this perfect, and this is quite a prime example of it, in my opinion. Unless technopop is not your thing, give her a chance even if it's not for the Anime, and you will not be disappointed.

THE PACKAGE
Okay, now that the not so fun part is over lol oh come on she's cute right?

It's not a crazily high budget as expected, so not surprisingly the inlet of the booklet isn't filled (when you open it up, where you see the section between the CD and the booklet) which is fine. The Regular Edition I had despite being a full on artist release (ie. showing off more Liyuu-san over the Anime, and now having an Anime Limited Edition release) did still provide an Anime back cover of Hatena-chan which is good, and the booklet is simple. It's no slack of a production here though, I would argue as this is the industry standard in Japan which already rivals many countries and their music releases.

As for the special gift, I was stuck between two generic choices, between the artist herself and... her cosplaying, of course. She'a a cosplayer anyways, what makes you think that won't be a choice? It's her cosplaying Hatena-chan, and it looks real good, which made me kind of regret my choice to go for an artist based photo instead of an Anime one, but hey, first time getting from online store of Sofmap so that's new. Other choices I made include the Gamers one which is literally the cosplay, with a full on set of a artist bromide, a badge and an Anime bromide (I know I am already regretting not choosing this) and Chara-Ani store which is a different variant of the Sofmap one which I got because I think Liyuu-san looks best in that, despite there being another artist outfit among the designs.

For now, I'll wrap this up so I can finish the one photobook review (the last, to be frank) before the sun sets which is unlikely but I'll try. The Birthday Present 2020

Well, happy birthday to me, I guess.

I'll cover these in more detail in later posts, but suffice it to say my "birthday package" has arrived. I really thought it'll be bad due to the epidemic that is around right now (not delivered from Wuhan btw if en route or not I don't know lol), but then again I did may a lot more for this to even arrive so... I'm glad it even appeared.

I bought three main things for this time around, and I thought I'd like to share them. From Kito Akari's 1st photobook to Liyuu's debut single to Uesaka Sumire's photo sets, the latter is what I wanted to share since it'll not have any mention in the following reviews I'll be going through in detail later. So, let's get to it then!




THE ORIGIN (OF CONSOLIDATION)
The photobook was already planned when it was announced last year but only around the time I wanted to order that single which I decided to pre-order this about a month ago so that I could avoid the special ticket to her signing event (I want to give others who can go a better chance haha), and Sumipe's bromides is just to compliment the package since I've wanted to have more of her images in physical copy (not as in printing her selfies out, mind you), so here we are.


THE PACKAGE (IN SUMMARY)
I'm not going to show everything in detail, but I will show everything that I can talk about. I just won't talk about all of them here as I will only talk about Sumipe's photos here instead.

Damn, that is a lot...

Specifically, I just chose whatever is left on her official store, two sets of 3 which were from last year, and a set of 5 which were randomly chosen from 15+1 mystery photo. I really wonder who will get the special one, but these are already special to me. Pity about the text in the images though; they should've kept it clean so it'll look good on my picture frame hehe

For once I can ignore her chest and appreciate her beauty haha

The set of 5 was specifically from about 3 years ago where I started following her selfies (lol), because I can remember the others that I've seen and I'm glad I got something outside of her selfies so at least there is little overlapping. Again, this is already ten thousand times better than her music releases where they gift a signed bromide... yep, signed. So yeah, the cleaner the images are off text the better, don't you say? And I'll talk about the other two items respectively.

The Entertainment News 2020 Edition Issue #5

Well, hopefully this is the last week of the season I have to deal with FIVE shows on Sunday haha *yawn*

Welcome back. It was a fruitful weekend haha well by my standards at least

I can technically split by two-day weekend (I mean, whose isn't?) by spending like half the time sleeping (lol), probably 10% each on two games, about 5% on getting meds from a TCM because if I don't I can't hear Anime (yep) and the rest on this. I love this the most haha come on the gacha didn't even give me shit lol

Okay let's start I dragged this too much, I didn't rest today and my eyes are twitching while laughing when watching just now so let's finish this

アニメ Babylon

"That's a woman, right?" YEAH NO SHIT ALEX you blind or what?? Haha I can only make this spoiler-free joke

I mean, any rational human being who has watched this far would agree that we should kill that b*tch, but you know, Alex doesn't feel that. *laughs* In this final episode (#Babylon12) of this whole nonsense we have been going through, it's interrogation time. Just this time, it's on the top of a building. It really feels like this is a trap for Alex to talk to potentially Magase but it's not, for starters. But what happened next probably will not change your opinion of this series. Well, at least for me. Firstly, the talk. Alex had to convince a woman to not take her own life upon a building and... it went well, surprisingly. They gotta find an interpreter for this though. And... Seizaki's buddy stepped in. I mean, "kill him whenever he does anything stupid" shall be my final warning to him haha, but I guess we may not have to. Because besides listening to the woman's tough story about whether to die after losing a kid she did with another guy without getting married (lol everyday thing there and I can't even get myself laid), the talk went successfully and Alex just said the same thing: he still doesn't know. But after telling her that and letting her live without killing herself, he then realised upon the answer. Okay, from her on this is literally the author's standpoint so spoilers if you haven't seen it yet... to live is to continue. Which technically makes sense. That's what life is about, yes? Only people who risk death are doing bad things, for most of the time. Doesn't mean you can do risk-taking things like play with the stock market but, you get the idea. But then, as Alex realised this, he made the worst decision of his life: pick up the wireless receiver to talk to the woman again, thinking that the same wearer would still be on after the talk. But hey, surprise surprise, Magase is on the line now. Which explains that the one on top of the building is just one of those people who want to die, not the evil itself. So, part two of this episode. Since Alex is a normal person like most of the guys who can get seduced by Magase's voice (yeah technically Seizaki is abnormal haha it's the power of his wife and kid man), he decided to take his own life. Let's ignore the panic this has caused for a world leader who wants to die now as he climbs to the highest point of the building which probably won't kill him it's like 4 floors lol, but Seizaki found him. Okay this one, I can argue with the author so let's do it. I'm not pleased. *laughs* Normally we have a proper ending like any other Anime even as weird as it gets like "Kara no Kyoukai" as I would like to reference to be the weirdest psychological I've watched so far in Anime. No really, even that had some proper conclusion. But if you are expecting an ending or even a happy ending, don't even think about it because the author is not giving it to you. Well, at least this adaptation isn't. I'll focus on Alex's talk about talking to the woman which he convinced to not jump, and tie it back to the talk about good which we mentioned earlier. In essence, he said that he'll be telling her a lie, and that he'll not be doing something good. Remember that he mentioned that good in continuity? So if you flip this around, and as us as we are now, we will argue that she should die, but then be telling her a lie? So she should die if her life is that screwed up already? So yeah, here comes my argument. If good is continuity, then many people would have been evil accidentally by ending their own lives. Think of the woman that he talked to just now. I like to quote on the poor on this because they didn't have much of a choice, so what does that make them? Poor people are evil now? Go read some articles on how some of them took education and lived to see the revival of their village in Africa. THEN you come tell me if it's good or not. It is, isn't it? On the contrary, then why is evil ending of life? Oh by the way, I'm not going to rant too much, and if you want a reality check if you haven't been influenced by Magase at this point because I assume you haven't... as much as people say living in a sin (I'm going to jump off a building after all this lmao no really I won't I promise), life is all about finding a purpose. If you fail to find one it's fine just live with it, but if you find it and it's "kill yourself" then you're f**ked up, to be honest. And in the case of Alex the Thinker, it would be continuous. And that's why you shouldn't die. Because I guess we can quote on Nomaru again remember that debate? Yeah, human tendency is not to die. Even if one has lost all hope in life. Because besides for the purpose of survival, we have all the reason to live. To find another purpose in life. You think the animals out there who barely have a brain will just die because they survived a struggle with another species? Hey come on that ant you stepped on probably only lived for 2 days with purpose and you killed it. Isn't that evil?? So yeah, in this case, the author is right: evil is ending things. Even one's life. I think we mentioned on this on how it'll affect other peoples' lives if you die, so you get the idea. That doesn't mean it'll be good if you die naturally, but then that is not your choice. As you continue to fight to live probably because you have a purpose even if it is for family, it's still a purpose. Think about it. The author, in conclusion, may have led us to a bad turn or even a trap (hey real life Magase haha) to think about good and evil. There is no good and evil by the way, because we are both. To think of evil is part of our nature, and to do evil becomes natural as an instinct; I believe we mentioned this before too. The real question probably Alex needs to think about is then what is life? Because to think about life as a sin is itself a sin, since then we will think of the opposite ie. dying. Again, don't want to iterate too much but I hope you get the point. Continuity alone isn't everything. Seizaki of course, ending up taking on his own life, as hinted by the ending where Magase is pretty much alive. Because clearly, she is not at that location where the two people died. Bad ending, I guess. I thought we could expect a good one at least, but hey this isn't local TV drama, they do whatever they want haha. All in all, quite an inquisitive show to think about life, but as I said, I've thought about it more than Alex at a much younger age than him, and my standpoint is still valid: living in society is signing an invisible contract with the government, and not committing suicide and to live and contribute for the benefit of society is your purpose in life. So do not forget that. To die then is a sin. So go strip your citizenship and then die haha I'm done with this shitshow I need some comedic relief

So wait, sir? You're not a real magician?? WHAT??!! Haha spoiler alert "(Makoto) You're better than Father" GOT HIM lmao

Okay I gotta say it here, but I want this Anime to be awesome because the parents will be their last draw and is in a level different from the bad guys who are tougher than the house without them. Well, at least, the mother will be. *laughs* In this new episode (#HatenaIllusion04) we have more issues, specifically with Yumemi. Hey, I did say it was somehow because of her that I continue this series, but as simplistic as this episode has shed a light about the series, I still think this is nice compared to whatever intense thinking stuff about suicide I'm watching this season lol. Let's talk about elementary school kids problems, yes? In a nutshell, Yumemi doesn't want to go to school. And it's not really because of the boys playing around with her which I must say is a real turn off to anyone who has to go to school, but more of what the boys are insulting her of, that she doesn't look like her sister. For example, just the hair colour, inherited from her parents. I mean, you can always dye your hair brown. *laughs* Since the father came and left after praising Makoto about last episode let's ignore him lol, but yeah it was a tough process to even talk to her about it, to say the least. Yumemi's friend in school and teahcer even went so far as to visit her at her place. And of course the sister and his boyfriend are eavesdropping on them. I mean, what do you think they were doing, Yumemi-chan?? Ah, she doesn't understand that kind of stuff yet haha. Hatena was concerned about her and asked about what happened in school that made her not want to go to the extent of having to fight their Artifacts over it. And now Yumemi you're asking about what to do now that you've upset your sister? Ah well, she's only in elementary school so whatever you're forgiven lol. Even with all this, she still refuses to talk to anyone properly... besides Makoto. *laughs* Hey, what did I say? The one who possesses the wand or whatever it's called... "smile stick"? Haha yes, whatever that meant, is the one who brings joy haha. At least, that's what the author Makoto thought is true. Turns out, she doesn't want to go to school because she's too smart for it? But girl, do you know about Triple Integrals and Fourier Transform? *laughs* That's... what I learnt in university lol and that's why you go. Anyways, she's just an elementary school student; We've all been there, something is making you not want to go to school mainly social issues because them kids all are d*cks before you can be one (lol), and they will never apologise but you still have to live with it for 6 years. *getting intense primary school flashbacks* Haha, but in this case, the kids came to her place and apologised to her, and... she ran away haha I gotcha girl I know you were going to run. But seriously man, if they apologised, and as Makoto mentioned, just say it's fine. And again, if you are smart, you could teach them a few tricks. Also tricks other than homework because I can use this word pun to talk about the magic trick she did to impress her classmates and maybe change their impression of her. Hey, if it works, it works, author. I can't criticise on your now lol RIP btw. Anyways, nice episode to watch though, as much as it is simple in thought, at least it made some sense besides the fighting with Artifacts which I must argue is the animation's strongest point thus far haha. Next episode... we may have a troublemaker coming our way. Looks like some rich woman who doesn't know about magic asking for something probably from the parents, so... we shall see how this plays out. Can you imagine the amount of sh*t the house has to deal with regarding the family and Artifacts? I'm glad the butler and maid haven't resigned yet because I would lol okay maybe not for Yumemi-chan haha

アニメ Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun

"I'll do anything!" That's the best quote I've heard so far this season haha Nene-chan~

Okay wait, so this is an affair?? *laughs* No wonder the wife wants to kill kids- Wait I can't say that this site will get banned haha. In this new episode (#HanakoKun04) to end the Misaki Stairs mini story, we have plenty of take into with regards to the story behind, and it's most definitely not what I mentioned above haha. Last week, we were left with the confrontation of the youkai responsible for this fiasco of students missing all over the school, so the trio came in to piece up a body as the youkai requested from the phone. And... it looks hideous haha. Then again, Yashiro's finds would not have worked though if they just built a normal person out of mannequin parts, but we'll talk about that later. Because firstly, we have to fight the damn thing. Hanako also realised that the weakness is not up there in the world, but probably down below (come on author that youkai is a woman lol), so after Yashiro realises her friend was one of the many in the (half dead) corpse pile amongst the stabbing scissors... Hanako threw her off the edge haha wow this change in mood. As funny as that is, the story in which Yashiro later found out as she appears in another area below the surface, is another thing in itself. Since for starters, Misaki is not the youkai they were fighting. It's a teacher in school. That youkai when she was "younger" Okay, this might not be a good explanation. Let's start with the diary. In the diary which Yashiro accidentally found lying around, it dictates the times where some kid? Yeah, wrote a diary about his or her life with the sensei, specifically Misaki since the teacher's comment on every page is signed by him. Yes, Misaki is a him. And as Yashiro figured out, it was a student falling in love with teacher scenario (and as usual the teacher cannot return the favour because "you're like 20 years below me kid" haha), but one day, the teacher died. After falling down that flight of stairs. Now you know where this is going. And in the diary was a photo of a bunch of kids with the sensei. So... yeah, flashback!! *laughs* In the actual tale, specifically mentioned in the diary too, Misaki-sensei gave her a pair of metal scissors (this is probably some decades ago FYI) after helping her to cut her hair, the youkai's. And since she is one... she can hide, uh, I mean, disappear. In a story where one would expect it to be a story where similar someone turns into a youkai, in actual fact that was done in front of a shrine, so yeah, that kid who wrote the diary and the guys are already fighting, is a fox God. That fox God fell in love with a human. Hey, that took a real turn around haha. Misaki arranged for the kids to take a picture with her in it. That's how kind to the God he was. I hope she realised that haha he probably did he pulled it out of nowhere. So all in all, it's some fox God dreaming about being with the sensei who died and in her effort to try to create him once again... I mean, can she? Surprisingly though, the plot line developing up till the end was gripping, to say the least. (Says lesser about Kyokou Suiri for the past few weeks but we'll bitch about that later haha) In the end, Hanako had to send out his powers to ensure this God's duties are removed because heck, you can't date on duty lol. The kids were returned to normal by daylight, and Minamoto... he was a warrior haha I can't think of a doll joke lmao. The fox God in its actual form is not kind though, but what the heck I may have destroyed your love dreams but you know you can find love with another human, right? It's time to move on haha. For next episode... we might have been revealed of the Number One Wonder of the school. Not that she's the new school idol lol (wonder, get it?), but yeah, she seems to have something like Hanako-kun and his... I'm not going to read that name hahahakujoudai (lmao), but she looks like an evil one to say the least. Remember the origami which stayed on Yashiro and accompanied them in the past couple of episodes? I guess it's for observation purposes and if it's similar in power Hanako would hardly figure it out, but this is going to get interesting. In-fighting? Hanako-kun I didn't know you had a sister lol it's Anzai Chika too HELL YEAH I'll be a youkai for her hehe

Well, there isn't any since it still looks normal until... well the past few weeks have been rough lol watching the wrong order. In this episode, we have been introduced this episode to a new(?) character Ibarada, who just games all day even though I can hardly call her a gamer Chio-chan is more of a gamer than her haha. So firstly, about the senpai who is older than everyone else around in the lab. She may have redeemed herself by stepping into the love experiment the couple were practising on, talking about the couple's experiment misses, but otherwise you have literally a gamer science student who can juggle between work and play more efficiently than any machine around the lab haha. (And she has a childhood friend but we'll leave that aside for now) She technically also proved that Yukimura gets aroused from just petting girls around the room. URAYAMASHII haha please bro stop showing off how unsocial you are with females. On the other hand, Himuro sure is pissed from not getting that love she intended to have by proving that literally just her would be enough to prove her love for him. Oh well blame Ibarada for that then haha. The second half of the episode was focused on... love with cooking. Hey, if you need help understanding this over significant figures go get yourself a partner lol or just watch more romance Anime tbh. So for those who have lived in a well like Yukimura, there is a legend that states that love cooked with passion and specifically love will make a dish taste much better. They should've tested this against cooking for someone without any emotions (say, cook for me) (haha *sob*) and let Yukimura eat it too, but the couple actually forgot to remove the experiment control of cooking experience as a factor to this test. So yeah, they stopped Yukimura from science cooking real quick lmao even I can't stand it. And as Himuro suggesting to test various ways to "inject love" into cooking (here's a secret it works best when both are cooking together haha don't tell Yukimura), and we kind of landed on the psychological aspect. You know, from heart-shaped bentos to carefully designed dishes to even your grandmother's special... they all share a common theme. And I swear in order to not get slapped by Himuro, Yukimura had to say the one with that layer of love sauce all over it (haha sex joke) must taste better than the other one WHY THEY GOTTA SHOW RIPPED DUDES IN HERE haha. To end this simple episode considering that there are complex topics mentioned in this series, is to talk about whoever is mentioning all the details ie. Kanade-chan. She is cute. I think I elaborated that real well over the past couple of episodes haha. But yeah, this lab is probably where she shines as she continues her line of tsukkomi to the dumb senpais lol (fancy calling yourself a genius, Yukimura), gets used as reference material or experiment subjects (and I don't mind tbh), and... gets tortured to read papers into the night. F**k the youkai, amirite??? *looks at the tree spirit* (Go away from me please haha your comedic relief is here guys) So yeah, it has been 2 years in th story, so let's let Kotoko update what happened between the two. They... they were dating. Yeah, it's not a lie, but it's not true either. For the ex who knows everything, she knows for starters that he wouldn't date such a (cute) girl anyways, as seen from the photos the guy had to take with the new girl lol. And then, there's the shitting on each other. I'm so glad this isn't a Taiwanese drama where they quarrel for two episodes (worth 2 hours each btw) because I love this level of bickering all over the place even though we know they are both losers since one is the ex and the other isn't making the guy happy anyways lmao. "If you like him you let him go", I say. Is that how I never got laid? *laughs* Moving on, let's talk about Nanase's story. Ignoring the fact that a voice actress with a rack is acting an Anime character with one too (haha Sumipe, please), story goes that (I know I said I got bored from the murder by the lake but this one has tits, uh, I mean, is more interesting) Nanase rose as an idol picked up on the streets by an old geezer ugh (lol), she got her debut in TV which made her famous including giving us the audience a spectacular opening theme animation that no one will forget haha (I legit laughed out loud at the ice girl like opponent lmao) (And if you don't get the joke of why and I learnt this from one Jeff Dunham: it's the super normal ones around the super attractive one that makes the attractive one more appealing lol that opponent only had dots for eyes) (Edit: It's a God, as seen from the manga, and she is literally called washboard haha), she was great in front of the camera (well of course Sumipe would, uh, I mean), and... she killed her dad. Wait, what? Haha for someone who has everything it's hardly likely that she would kill her dad, so we know there's more to this. *sigh* I shouldn't be building suspense here since the Anime did it already, but it has probably got to do with her sister, in case you didn't realise. Because not long after hiding from the press and being asked about the father's death, she was killed by a steel beam. I use the word "killed" instead of "died" because... it's likely not an accident. I guess we will know about that soon, but that's when Saki-san had to figure out herself after taking in all the clues from the police investigation department. And this, the God of Wisdom wants a piece of the action. To this, and since she can't ask for her favour directly because she can't resist shitting on her again (Saki-san too but you get the idea lmao), so... cue the next idol of the season probably, that Tree God Gen'ichirou. (Nanase has nothing on this guy; I assume he does stand-up comedy? lmao) He asks for her help in place of Kotoko-chan and requested a meetup to talk about it. You know, that eventuality where the police would cooperate with the one citizen haha. But then, at the meeting place, some youkai nearby told Kotoko that Steel Lady Nanase (the youkai) was around. And so she went to discover.. it's Kuro-san fighting her!? So I guess next episode, we get to find out more from Kuro's perspective. I assume he has spent the week investigating this out too. Hey Kotoko-chan may be cute but we have the smart guy here lol don't hit me Saki-san. The story is getting me down on my seat though, no joke. I did not regret giving this Anime another chance where we fight monsters and shit on women lol I'm not misogynist btw I like tits haha wait what

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note

Okay, another week, another bunch of releases to talk about, new and old. The actual release out this week was Waki Azumi's debut single so congrats, but apart from the first song I legit cannot give you anything else, to be honest. I think my initial impressions were right it might be hard to give Ajuju the right song to sing. Cute songs might be it for now though I await the next work to impress me further. I also revived my review on Uso to Chameleon's new single because heck I have to give the Anime now and I'd rather give this opening theme song because at second listen... it ain't bad. I mean, I must be tired from last month's dose of J-Rock lol no seriously.This weekend I came around finally to Suzuki Aina's debut album- wait, what? Yeah, this newbie is also getting her singer debut apart from acting main role in Anime "Hatena Illusion". Hey, the music video was released in November last year, by the way. Goes to show they just slotted this song in casually to make her have a good start in her solo music career. Seriously, Suzuki Aina... you're just like them. LiSA or whoever they are in the same subgenre. *laughs* Ignoring that, what the heck is with the excessive classical music is it like the music genre she's into? But then again I'll try to give a couple of songs if all goes well I think I give a couple. While searching for releases landing on my birthday because surprise surprise it's on a Wenesday this year, I came across indie(?) band... let me get their name, yes Humbreaders, these guys. They aren't bad. So yeah, will be reviewing their 1st full album since they started I think three years ago. Congrats, guys. You gettin' Klassic Note consent liao- oh this is not prestigious enough? Next week is idolism week in Klassic Note, ladies and gentlemen (lol) because we have Fuchigami Mai's new single which I'll probably only give the only topic song for Valentine's Day (I mean, why not since the others aren't doing it), and the showdown between Touyama Nao's new single and Minase Inori's new single... you try to find the former in tweets and compare with how many times I said I liked Inorin over the week, yes? *laughs* Don't mean to shit on your Naobou but they got Inorin a good song imo

On a fantastic week of news we've not seen in months in Twitter (haha), Q-MHz is on music subscription services in which of course only Apple Music Japan is of importance to me (I also paid my yearly membership fee ugh should do it in summer when currency is weak lol), SHE'S is coming up with a new album somehow after the success that is the EP from last December I guess, VELTPUNCH's new album production is done which means we will get news about release real soon which means it's this year, and to compliment that SPECIAL OTHERS is back with another album after five years of not releasing new stuff. Them in acoustic 2 years ago does not count haha welcome to 2012 everyone where music (only) is king and alternative rock is awesome~!! The hype is real in this one haha the stars have aligned
