Hmm... is this new title format concise enough? To Blogger it is, I want to
support automation so I don't have to fix page URLs because I can't import
them in anyways so I hope you like the
Seigura-like naming system lol- Oh Rieri's on cover what a coincidence hehe
Aw man, promise me, me in 2023, that you will NOT binge watch an Anime series
ever again. *laughs* My neck hurts from watching all afternoon I can't even- I
DID NOT EVEN LISTEN TO SONGS ON THE NEW YEAR!! Haiz haha happy new year
everybody
Speaking of new year, literally started with a bang, no, TWO bangs and not
like I banged anyone *wink*, but refer to my Twitter if you are interested in
DOAXVV, thanks. *laughs* Still best free-to-play game ever- Well,
free-to-ogle, thanks. Well then again, not free I gave them money *giggles*
Monica-chan
daisuki
Well, I have planned on something and I will deliver, so let's talk about
Heike Monogatari "Romantic Killer" I really feel
indebted to the former after mentioning it THIS many times and giving it
nothing so I'll give the latter and watch a romantic comedy instead!! Haha I'm
sorry maybe "Koukyuu no Karasu" was enough
アニメ Romantic Killer
If you would ditch 3 things in your life in exchange for a life of
romance, which would you choose? Yes. *laughs*
Wow how should I even talk about this series. Now that I'm done with the
marathon many people like to do instead of watch weekly... I don't know where
to start. *giggles* But I want to talk about it, as much as Anzu-chan will.
So, about this series though (#RomanticKiller) I only started gaining interest
by seeing the trailer and knowing who are voicing the main girls until I knew
of how much of a romance comedy this would be, and now that I am done with it
I can't believe I gave this a chance. Also, please feel bad, Anime producers,
for always, and I mean ALWAYS, picking on Takahashi Rie for voicing a boyish
voice for this main girl Anzu-chan, but with better reason in this case I
believe. This romcom is gag-Anime style based, so jokes tend to drop
everywhere in the form of violence as she deals with wizard Lily-chan voiced
by Komatsu Mikako of all people, and many a times them doing male voices, so
this is rather appropriate just minutes watching the first episode. Speaking
of that though, I guess we should talk about the circumstances, right? Every
romance series has that. This one might be simple or even common, some wizard
appears in Anzu's life telling her to ditch all her necessities in life which
are video games (BRUH haha), chocolate which we don't really have to talk
about why even though Valentine's Day would be a good reason, and cats for
comfort in order to focus on a life of romance. Yes. The life of being
surrounded by handsome dudes. Always getting into romance situations at every
corner. Please, Anzu, people like us DREAM of such a reality. *laughs* But
turns out, it didn't take much to do so. From arranging coincidences like you
know, what life is about in general we gotta start somewhere, to bringing in
your childhood friend(s) haha, to getting even the rich kids in lol... one has
to ponder every single time where the magic (*wink*) is coming from or even
whether these are all done by Lily's hands. Here's a hint: Sometimes they are,
many a times they aren't. Because more than unlikely, this is not a "okay I
will make some handsome dude appear" similar to how Lily eventually had to
transform themselves into a dude to date her but *laughs* even breaking
Tsukasa's phone was a way to ditch his social life of discrimination; Lily
actually finds the right people for the job. Hey, it's a job though, so you
gotta make it good, right? That's how they get the bonus, dude. *giggles* (Can
we stop with the company jokes though? Not funny to start the year with this-
If I don't get this year's bonus I'll change my job lol) Tsukasa bumped onto
Anzu to start her off and make her feel bad about breaking someone's phone
which you know, considering the guy lives alone on expenses one can't expect
him to get another one quickly so yeah it's on her haha. Junta who was once
thought made up by Lily through memory manipulation (hehe TYPICAL) turned out
to be an actual kid she knew in elementary school. Even Hijiri was set up to
give Anzu more options than ever in the ever-changing world she was about to
experience. You know, to give her the best experience they can. But Anzu isn't
taking any of that. Not that she isn't into romance, because well, like every
romance, it takes time. Though not forced, it was certainly set up or even
sped up in order to achieve the best/worst case possible depending which side
you're on haha Anzu will meet Junta in the future if not for this, but it was
never faked. But what was eventually the reality moving forward came in in
several forms, I think it was worth watching even for not the laughs. Firstly,
friendship. Yes, it's cheesy to even talk about that, but reality check, the
bait was never a happy ending. Yep, they did not give you one. I mean, this is
not exactly a harem but uh... no? *laughs* So yeah, what was promoted more
often than ever was friends. Being together and helping each other out because
turns out, Anzu is a great friend in times of need. With her overflowing
confidence in helping people around her (yes even taking hits from the stalker
*pukes* same Tsukasa, same), she has created a surprisingly lovely social
circle with forgiveness and truth to make even jealousy seem like a magic wand
in a pile of poop. *giggles* As in a joke, by the way. *laughs* That is
probably what drives the series well haha not the poop though, because time
and time again we witness flashbacks of Anzu making people happier, let them
confront their fears, heck, even saving their lives entirely. And that's the
thing people lack. Even me. *silence* Moving on, secondly, how potentially
dark the themes can be in this series. I can see that weird pervert of a
senpai of
Saki-chan but I really did NOT expect a panties thief (lol) let alone a
STALKER by the way haha thanks Hikasa Youko we could not have done this
without you I apologize for your sacrifice and acting, because being a joke of
a series one would expect it to not be this dark, but goddamn, Yukana-san you
might need therapy. Or worse. Yikes, this maybe even
minikui, more of
shota but we will
not make that joke for now lol this is truly extreme when it has to. Last but
not least as we come full circle, the jokes. The references in this series hit
you the best way possible, I swear the author is still stuck in the 2000s
haha, but they knew to write stuff relevant to the present time too, so
violence and threatening words are just typical I won't even say otherwise
since the timing is just *chef's kiss* you will not have wondered what hit you
every time. And that, I really can't explain how well it compliments the
storytelling. The rapport between Lily and Anzu is just great too, because
remember we had to deal with the idea of something being magic? It's that
chance that will cause interjections to happen whenever, and that is just
icing on this cake to be honest. All in all, this story isn't going to make
you love any number of them, because everyone played a part in the
storytelling, and that's what I think makes this series work, easily seen by
how (almost) all the dudes can help confront two street thugs. The magic isn't
going to make you think it's super forced, though at times you would wonder
how Tsukasa's apartment got into Anime "
Nagi no Asukara" lmao underwater joke. The story is not going to make you satisfied even
with the romance premise and all, but I'm sure I will see you in tears. This
Anime has everything, dude. It's hard to pinpoint what is bad. And you know,
I'm a simp for the female voice cast and that's why I'm here in the first
place so... I'm just happy I decided to give this a watch. Definitely makes my
neck hurt staring at this all day and it's not because Anzu pulled my shirt
collar lmao please do though
[I think I'll put in more images to tell the tale, yes? You're welcome haha
images fill my desktop as I write this, maybe I'll choose one per episode so a
dozen screencaps let's go TL:DR;]

Oh, and as such, by the way, I will NOT be talking about Klassic Note just
one day into the new year. Not even YURiKA-san as the above Anime's opening.
*giggles* See you guys next time then, and if I have time tomorrow which is
also a public holiday *dabs* then I might just do up the GIFs since the
expressions on this is just too good it's hard to miss out. *laughs* So yeah
sorry for late post lol also Klassic Note stuff we don't have time for that
already thanks to the Hype Train I joined this morning on my regular Twitch
streamer I should have started this morning lol bye I seriously need to rest
my neck
P.S. And because I can't get enough of this Anime a day later, here are some
references you may have noticed watching the series:
|
This is an Amazon reference because definition lol (Also,
this is for Anzu the ones for Kazuki I won't even)
|
|
This is a Phoenix Wright reference if you knew of the series (They
just didn't say "Rejection!" because copyright)
|
|
And if you don't know of video games from left to right on the
table are Playstation VR, Nintendo Switch with their tablet
console design, and chocolate lol
