If life is terrible being honest and good, then why not be honest and bad?

Okay, I don't mean "bad" in like, mad scientist or terrorist kind of manner. But then again, just being an everyday bad person is bad enough already. Remember that being bad is also being straightforward which means being honest. I just wonder what's wrong with that, that's all.
