Hey, I had a great nap so let's finish this week with another post!!

Yes, I said another. Because as you have noticed, another package dropped by my place. Let's start, shall we? I'm starting with Uzaki-chan first because somehow my friend watched it already (remember, I only watch on Sundays) and he wants to talk about it. Right now we can only talk about those two in the cafe eating two bowls of rice each lmao

Wow I hope the production studio is ready for this episode because they have been disappointing so far in making Singapore as realistic as possible in their story- Okay I'm just joking they can't fly here to do surveying now and they can hire locals to do it too, why not. Just a heads up if you haven't watched it yet, but the best scene is when Makoto is sipping on that small cup of coffee in front of Sam lmao this definitely one-upped last week with Laurent eating Chinese food haha. In this new episode (#GREATPRETENDER09) where we get Sam get off the hook and win money for now, we talk about how big a horse anus is haha hey I didn't start the conversation ask Cynthia and Laurent. Makoto, though, has other ideas. Besides duping the heck out of Sam of course, but also, about Abbie. So first, let's talk about what is with Abbie's history we know about till now. And I think it's still not a lot considering the previous one also pretty much gave us a good idea of what it is already. But first and foremost a warning: Abbie's race is... if you watched till the end already, Middle Eastern. And we do know stories from that place being a terrorist fighting ground until recently, so yeah, they chose this to talk about so I'll briefly make guesses so that I don't get flagged for inappropriate content lol. So, Abbie as a kid was a ballet dancer, all was well, the parents hang out with her until... planes flew by her country she was living in. Normally that is good for Singapore where your local Air Force has nowhere else to fly (can I put this blog to have exclusive information already? lol), but in the Middle East where you can build airstrips on deserts... something's obviously not normal. Soon she was in war, and probably volunteered as part of the local Force to deter the opponents who took their land and... she got out alive, but probably alone, that is. So, we'll put that aside for now because we know this will easily affect her racing in due time because spoiler alert, she might be trying to kill someone here *wink*, but yeah, the underground casino first. So yeah, Sam so far has made what, 3 trips alone to the casino betting every time on Abigail on every time she is in a race, so yeah, he's earned quite a lot so far, almost bankrupting the conman's coffers, if I would say. But no worries, it's a small risk to take to empty the rich oil tycoon descendant anyways, so yeah, they are riding it right now, it seems. And with more strategy too, from initially letting him win happily, then banning him and letting Makoto go on his behalf (bro be glad you're still alive after all this haha) and THEN losing all of it because they tampered with the engine... Well we had Cynthia to go on site to "observe" the opposing team, even though we know the "observation" is not on her because no one "observed" Abbie putting the pill into the trunk. Hey, if it doesn't work on Sam it'll definitely work on all the other guys because we know Sam's gay anyways lmao. Anyways, we now know that's the same method used to disable Lewis but compared to him the latter got an emergency landing on the beautiful straits of Singapore River (on second note can you stop polluting it so it looks like the 1950s again? thanks) (haha), so that dude got it out alive maybe, he got out. Like, he ran away from the competition. Hey, must be God punishing him for staring at tits, amirite?? *laughs* Anyways, that's how far they are egging Sam on so that he will swear to earn them all back, so yeah, as you can see, it's pretty intense. And I thought this wouldn't get more intense, Abbie asked Lewis out (wait, without the wife?) (lol) alone in the middle of nowhere... to ask questions. Yes, that's what it is. Interrogation, considering he's already on a wheelchair. But really, after seeing all that in this episode, is it his fault though? I mean, it's war, Abbie. You can't do this in Singapore go settle your problems elsewhere where guns are not prohibited. Haha cya guys next week for the results then. To someone's bet on their own air races, and to whoever's fate we need to deal with at some point I have a feeling it's not going to be only Abbie's now *sigh*

Okay gotta put in that SHOTA SUKI alert here the moment I hear that 25-year age gap my friend here will be going nuts at this difference lol he only likes little girls haha what. In this new episode (#UzakiChan09) where we finally welcome the mother into the mix, I still can't believe after a decade of watching Anime I'm watching a slice-of-life series that is literally waiting for fireworks to happen lmao isn't that every romance series. Also, didn't realise I need a dosage of Hayami Saori after this long of not seeing her in Anime- oh she's not 43? Oh, that's the character she's playing? Oops. *laughs* Anyways, story I guess. Firstly, we talk about the mother because... why not? Well, just for the one reason, I guess. Someone puked on Sakurai's bed and he has to get a replacement for it, but you know, he got a cheaper one so he's just returning the money back lol mom how much money did you give him as compensation? *laughs* So yeah, this new character though... genuinely fears Sakurai. Just like bystanders who normally see him in a bad impression because of his eyes and build mainly, the mother (using her name isn't that easy to reference so I'm avoiding it) (also "Tsuki ga Kirei" sounds like it'll give her the wrong idea lol read on for more) sees him in a more worrying light when she found out that the senpai her daughter has been hanging out with is... a male. Hey, you didn't tell this to your mom? Really? As anybody's parent I'll be naturally worried, especially when it's Sakurai. *laughs* Okay, story. Sakurai did kind of out stay his visit, but not until he had a quarrel with Uzaki-chan (the daughter) in front of the mother, and also, stare at her boobs her cats haha like seriously it's the eyes. So yeah, and considering we get a hint of that drama plot she was watching earlier it's no wonder she'll get misunderstood easily and it's only going deeper the further she talks about it, especially to the people in the cafe. Like seriously, someone's throwing their rice away and eating vegetarian already lmao. So yeah, the mother did visit her daughter's workplace and is surprised to find Sakurai also in the premises (well no shit he was here first), but then in the end digging the hole deeper as she eavesdrops on the wrong stuff around the premises lol. Then, Uzaki-chan gets pissed off again. Now that we can see the formula it's kind of irritating to, as a man, have to be gentlemanly to apologise for the words I say to a woman because that is PRECISELY what Sakurai is doing so that he can get this b**ch to be normal again. What? But then I realised this is what I was here for, and just took it like a man- Okay we should be good here. They kind of quarrelled in the cafe which is bad for business (unless you're business savvy like Ami-chan lmao) (I'm sorry to say sir, that your cafe is going to fall into the wrong hands at this rate), so the one kid stopped them by giving them a lottery ticket. And as you know, with all lottery tickets in Anime, they always win the best prize so without further ado... they get a (I like how it's) 2 night 1 day trip to... Tottori? Well, you can look it up, and I swear the panels out there is not sponsorship of some sort but i don't know, but as you can see, it's only for 2 amirite?? *giggles* So next episode... is that a MIB reference?? lol no kids will get that haha they only know Conan is a kid anyways even though he's an adult haha bye (okay they hinted at the end who they are already I guess)

Okay all I remembered from the preview was that Ruka-chan was having a great time haha look if she's having a great time so will I because I just want to see her in happin...ess... okay now that my Anime creep's out of the way haha. In this new episode (#KanoKari09) where Kazuya has to get a part-time job to survive because he burnt too much money on rental girlfriends lmao (hey same here bro but I'm to a smaller extent and it's not on women) (haha), I've... honestly never been so excited to see a hotel again since (okay there was "KimiSui" but) I got disgusted on "Koi to Uso" lol. So, story, I guess. Just revising on the "this relationship's purely business" thing to Kazuya too, just in case. But look how happy he is with that one phone case because cookies would've been a better gift lmao SUCK IT KAZUYA haha. Okay, joke's over, so story. The main two were caught by Ruka-chan again. And I would argue I'm going to refer to "the main two" as Kazuya and Ruka soon because... he got brought into a hotel room?? Yeah, just for confrontation though, relax. For Ruka-chan though, her heartbeat's still going strong so good for you, girl. But as we can see so far, the guy's not reciprocating your feelings to you. So yeah, reminding ourselves about forced happiness again, I guess. But unlike Chizuru, Kazuya, she's prepared to "take it all in", semen and everything. *laughs* So, being trapped in a love hotel somehow because at some point Ruka-chan got bored of normal dates lol (Naobou I know you don't have the guts but if you want to do this to me that'll be stellar haha), Kazuya has to tell her everything or else he's gonna don that condom I swear (and that'll count as a porno so if you would excuse me) (haha), and even then yeah we're right back to Episode 1 with Ruka here because she also knows lie upon lies is not a great idea at any point, even if it's lying to the grandma about the girlfriend thing. Also, she was here first haha and it's impossible for Kazuya to get TWO girls anyways so (hey I gotta shit on him too somehow) I guess this episode really is focused on Ruka-chan going on the aggressive. Not on Kazuya mind you but seriously if he wants to he can (haha what), but yeah, sort of, to erase this fact about those main two being together as a couple because we all know... it's not true. Sadly, that's not what the grandma thinks. Again, because all this while Chizuru's girlfriend image has rubbed off on the old woman, liking this future daughter-in-law so much she's like me liking Naobou Ten-chan (haha) so yeah, it's that complicated, it seems. Talking about story, because Ruka-chan managed to see the message on Kazuya's phone about the grandmother, she knows to appear at the supposed meeting between Kazuya's girl and the old woman, to.... well so far it's just her being a pathological liar about her being girlfriend Kazuya I can't believe you can say lies like this lol. Hey, it takes a bigger lie to cover up the previous one, just so you didn't realise this. The grandmother believed it though, but I'm pretty sure within the couple of hours in the restaurant the grandma went from "you two timing her?" after scolding him at the entrance thinking it's a misunderstanding to "you two timing her?" because this lie seems like it's too much also wtf is this harem lmao. And then you'll realise they went to the shrine on New Year's and notice that Kazuya's miracle is basically impossible going from his draw of the omikuji anyways so... *laughs* (But seriously if I will ever see such fortunes on my draw, I know I'm in for a good time lol what) Ruka-chan did remind those two (main two, not talking about Kazuya's parents lol) about the situation anyways, and really insists there is something more going on between them which is not wrong. Well, at least, to some extent, I guess. Hey, you tell me, those who read the manga till the latest chapter haha. Anyways, and suddenly Ruka-chan and the grandmother were missing from the shrine, which obviously spells bad news but, in the end, because of the old woman's love for Chizuru (lol what did I tell you), she... Ruka-chan didn't say it. I know right even if you say it though no one will believe you more than his son who IS the real pathological liar haha GOT HIM *laughs* So, instead of going aggressive so far, Ruka-chan in the end then decided to, you know, do the girlfriend the normal way. Gain favour of the family, and so on. It's like dating Kazuya, but you have to date the grandmother too because that's what's Chizuru is going anyways lol. Lastly, everyone's fortunes. I mean, we don't need to know about the ones from the elders ("you will gain a new family member in happiness" and then the grandma will be like) (haha), but more importantly actually, on Chizuru. Okay maybe Ruka-chan's was spot on too which led her to her conclusion here but still. I know, obviously they are giving you the question mark on Chizuru's side till the end (or if the end will ever come), but this is kind of a long thing coming, it's complicated, maybe we can move on with things not until they are 80 but at least until the elder passes away and no one in the family totally loves Chizuru crazily by then lol but you get the idea THE ENDING THEME IS GREAT!!! Haha out this week btw and if you want a dose of halca-san the singer she has a phone line for rental girlfriend now lol no joke haha bye (wtf is that Chizuru doing the devil next episode with Kuri?? Oooohhhhh!! haha alright)

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note

I don't really remember when but it's last week? Haha okay maybe it's this week at work haha. I spent some time listening to UNLIMIT's special live video footage on YouTube, and came back with a couple of songs? Yeah, so one from the 2014 album I've listened to before, and two from their 2011 album so it's before I started getting into them (FYI like many, from Anime "BLEACH" ending theme) so I might as well reviewed it too, so that's quite a harvest here. Other than that, let's talk about new releases this week. halca's new single is... meh at best, but I'm so glad the topic song is a lot better than I've listened to so far, so that's a plus. Kano's new single which is for Anime "Uzaki-chan" but unlike the Anime (fortunately) doesn't have Uzaki-chan in it, and it still sounds quite good(?) so I ended up giving it. That, or I think I brainwashed myself half the week to give it anyways haha the rapping part really isn't that great. Amamiya Sora's new album is... well, I didn't give many but some of them did impress me, from the one topic song with music video which you can see on YouTube, to the first song after the prelude which is my new beat now, to I think I've heard that "new" song in her recent live I've heard last week which probably, cemented this song's position in my list haha hey watching lives do help in increasing my music library lol

In news of music on Twitter and unlikely beyond because I don't have to but just in case, Happy Birthday Freddie Mercury just because, Sambomaster's new music video is actually good and yes I'm talking about the song and we might have a new single incoming, Ikimonogakari's new music video and single release on Monday isn't that bad and I'll probably try to give it next week when it's not that busy as this week, Tsuji Shion's summer live livestream is great and I don't know how I missed it last week so I watched it on archive which probably is gone from YouTube by now, and welcome our newcomer Collection Artist Amamiya Sora because I've given enough songs from her new album to put her into the list. I know I skipped it since last week on her birthday but (haha)

So next week, thanks to this reminder from the above paragraph, Sambomaster's new single will be under review which I must say it has been a long time coming since the previous one, and of course we'll see if we can put Natsukawa's 4th single on the shelf. I, uh, really can't get my hands on a preview of the B-side so if it really will happen I'll decide on Wednesday personally. Excuse me. *says in a suggestive voice* "I'll review her on Wednesday personally" haha I sound like a pervert manager talking about that newcomer "Ganbare Douki-chan" haha you thought I was about to say Idolmaster you otaku f**k (lmao)

So yeah, a week just passed by again. Man, pondering about life at work sucks haha then again I may be not busy enough to be able to spend time doing that so maybe I'll put my lack of problems with someone else preferably so that I can actually be busy or something lol. The Pandemic Upturn Shopping Spree 2020 Edition: The Cheaper Option

Hey, welcome back. Okay, before we start, I promise you that this is THE LAST ORDER of buying used bromide photos FOR THE YEAR. I PROMISE. May I be struck by lightning if I do this again. (uh oh) (haha) Also, new goods do not count lmao these are used ones it's different hehe *phew*

So, if you wondered how fast I did to click on these stuff, think again. I was very fast. *laughs* So without further ado, let me talk a little more about what SHOULD have been the PUSS back in April where I did indirectly shop on THE SAME STORE which only delivered 3 items after 6 rounds of cancellations *sigh*




THE ORIGIN
It all started, with this:

This banner. When I was window shopping around the actual Japanese site of Suruga-ya, one of the only few places that openly sell these bromide photos online. Normally, if you visit Japan (which I have never, but my friend did lol and bought me some back then because he knew) (of Minase Inori, FYI) (Inorin!!~ lol) you will visit those Anime stores? Yes, and among some of them, they sell used goods, from figurines to CDs to posters to... yes, these. Again, this is technically illegal because they are not for re-sale (you can see that on the photos themselves), but you know, this is also the only way to (1) catch back in time to get older ones and (2) get rare stuff like those involving fanclubs. As you can see in recent posts I have made an effort to buy them in tandem with releases from magazines to live event goods as much as I can to compensate for this... piracy haha (hey I did spend money on this), but yeah, the truth is, buying them directly when it's actually released even if it comes with as a special for a magazine, is still more worth it than this.

Let's talk about ALL the advantages about this specific package. Firstly, it's the shipping rate. International shipping rate. At this point, flat rate of 1050yen. No joke. They even offer shipping discounts (at this rate btw) with minimum purchase from 10000yen (which of course I did not do and I COULD HAVE haha). And that's it. For comparison I pay more international shipping buying a CD directly from a Japan store eg. HMV Japan, and thank goodness that previous package was void of shipping which was about 3000yen? Yeah, now you wonder why I was so dumb half a year ago. Then, it's the direct shopping service I get from this approach. Considering this website is more updated on stock compared to the nightmare I experienced for a month going through Rakuten as described in the first PUSS 2020 post (lol), this one was surprisingly easy to deal with. Out of stock notices are easily seen (even if there isn't a filter on search which is fine I can't read the Google Translate from Japanese anyways lol more on that later), as you can see their service is fast because I ordered on Tuesday (yes, ie. 1st September 2020) and it arrived today, and their charges for this service is only - you heard it right - 500yen flat. Yes. For comparison the previous "scam" was 500 PER ITEM. F**K haha

This will be the closest to me actually shopping on the store in Japan without going there btw

There are still disadvantages about this though, like the limited availability of certain newer items because all the popular ones are already sold out the moment they are posted (or even claimed in shops in Japan since at this point people can leave their houses), but still. Also, if you see the unboxing below, you'll also notice their approach to shipping: one big box, but without any padding. Yeah. Then again, there isn't much to protect besides from scratches so this isn't much of a dealbreaker. More importantly, there are missing items in this order, as you can see above. Okay, not that they screwed it up, calm down, but they are likely out of stock by the time I wanted to order them and they did not update the website (*wink* find some deja vu there?) so at this point it's about a 10% miss rate. Out of the 30 items that you will see below, 3 items were missing and probably were the ones I wished had shipped I mean I used sphere to pad the order I'd rather those not ship haha

In summary because I did not do up a table for this unlike last time (lol), for a total of now 27 bromide photos which consist of: 5 from Kaburagi Atsushi/Aki Yuki/Yuuki Aoi (yes only the last one is correct), 4 from Minako Kotobu/Kotobuki Minako, 2 from Natsukawa Pie/Natsukawa Shiina (lmao), 3 from Tachibana Rika, 3 from Satou Satomi, 2 from Fuchigami Mai, 1 each from Kido Ibuki, Tomomi Okubo/Ookubo Rumi and Numakura Manami (Aimi Numakura), and 5 from SPHIA/sphere to pad the order. Again, it's all for the purpose to bring up some of the people in my photo library so far. You know, playing catching up considering some are either just rare now or have no future plans to release more photos... yeah haha

Yes, that was on purpose lol. So overall, because some items were missing, instead of refunds they amended the final payment to be 7830yen, from the 9170yen (~110 SGD if I'm not wrong I forgot already) initial purchase from... I saved even more money thanks to my sis' new debit card which charges directly in yen based on the best exchange rate I can get from here. "For testing purposes", by the way. *laughs* So man, by now it's already within 100 bucks so heck, remember the previous big package was 600, for 30+ photos? Yeah, I could've bought 5 more times from this shop haha. Then again, there are rarer stuff from that one compared to this, so whatever. You can't buy Akarin and Ajuju (Waki Azumi) from this store just because so that's kinda sad haha

Hey, with those poorly translated captions you think I read?

This is the only sort of bad one I saw though

In terms of quality, some may have been too old on the shelf already (Satomi-chan's bromides are as old as from like, 2011 haha) so there are visible damages, maybe a little more stains here and there, but not as bad as the actual first time I did this back then I think in 2016 with that Aki-chan one I showed which that one was coffee stain level big; it can never get that bad, because these are literally displayed on a shop, so first impressions matter. (That Aki-chan one was from an auction site, from some random guy who lied lol) Other than that, if age is not a concern as I try to choose the newer ones besides those to up the numbers (Aoi-chan, Fuchigami Mai, Rika-sama), so most of them are in good condition. Again, I did actually get my hands on 3 of them  back then in April and I know o f their quality so this isn't too far away by comparison- Hey it IS 30 items in the end after all!! *laughs*

In conclusion, I felt much lighter. Like, in burden. From the burden of money spent on shipping, and from the burden of waiting for them to arrive. This hype could not be more higher than this. Well, if I did not do this for the... 5th time this year? 6th, I should include those from my birthday haha. So yeah, but I really promise for used items this shall be the last. At least for the year. But probably as I mentioned, I would just buy the latest from now since they are easier to obtain and also more hype because you can actually get Akarin bromides now haha, but yeah, I love burning money. Well, I kind of skipped this last time so I guess we'll record this down lol you don't even know anyways (also it's Horie Yui and she failed age requirements so) (haha)

Hey. Let's be quick, shall we? It's so early in the morning because of work and I think I might have thought too much of this girl for her to appear in my dreams just now so without further ado...

"I think I was at a certain festival or event or something, like those with an open setting. I walked by a line of booths on front stage to see a panel of line up products and their prices from left to right in decreasing prices.

"Wow they look pretty expensive" until I saw the lower end and it's 200 yen and I'm like "I can afford this"

And it's also because I saw who is manning the counter to sell the prize which is a bar of chocolate somehow: Takahashi Rie-san.

There wasn't a queue, I felt rather awkward, but I took out $2 from my wallet (note the differences in currency) and gave it to her. I thought getting even a bar of chocolate from Rieri would make my day. But as soon as I handed her the paper, she thanked me like she would thank any customer with a smile, kept the money away, and continued to serve the next customer.

And as I was wondering if something is off, I started to ponder if I read that panel wrong for it might be just to get a chance to get the prizes listed. Which means I did not win the prize. Of a bar of chocolate.

I walked away depressed while still enjoying the moment of happiness. I then thought to myself that if it's a game of chance I should try to win it. So I went to withdraw more money, but then gathered with my friends for a meal or something, while I still remembered to go spend this money and after a couple of hours later... The counters were closed. They were replaced by if I didn't remember wrongly, a special Earphones stage with the trio sitting on the panel, but something looks off when they introduced themselves: Kouno Marika looks surprisingly old in looks and sounds like a man. The other two giggled at her introduction before mentioned about the name "Maeno" before "she" slipped away into the backstage..."

Well the rest of it isn't that idolism so I doubt it'll be interesting despite being in my dream so I shall stop here. (Guys taking about life advice enclosed in cheques where if they are good stories we then donate to charity or it's destroyed? Buzz off haha) Origins of my dream here include my crazy obsession of Rieri I assume thinking of her too much last night (and how my phone wallpapers should feature her instead of Ten-chan this week lol) (Mmmmmm Rieri hehe), I guess the single review of Earphones which probably explains how I can recall Nagaku Yuki's voice that clearly, and the word "Maeno" because I told Hanazawa Kana's man to buzz off as I saw a YouTube recommendation of his (probably fan edited) video of him lol. So, uh... Hey? Miss summer festivals now? As in physical events? I miss them until it appeared in my dreams now. And I don't even go to those events lmao cya guys next time

アニメ GREAT PRETENDER

I like how Makoto asked Abbie out on the Singapore Flyer only to be afraid of heights lmao yeah I think we know that from a couple of episode ago already bro why did you find out just now? *laughs* Anyways, we're not getting that truth talk, bro. Ask Cynthia or somebody they may have an answer. See, not everyone will talk about their troubles more than once. In this new episode (#GREATPRETENDER08) where we are setting things in motion... Cynthia is not loved. I know right? That Sam has pretty terrible tastes wait till we bait him with loli Anime haha wait what? *laughs* Okay, story first. Story now is of course, not on Makoto's confrontation of Abbie, and on why Laurent slipped his tongue (yet again lol) on saying Abbie wants to die, because we're not close on that reveal, so I'll skip that for now. But other than that, you'll see that things are going sort of, to plan. Well, the final plan now is to make him bet in an underground casino to bet on Abbie here, who will then lose to Clark ie. his bro, so they can rip him off all his money at once in one fell swoop. But first is to bait him. With Cynthia- Well that's not working though. (Man, I would argue that it'll work for me if I get to have sex-) So, we need another plan. This time, it involves Makoto. They are going to "hire" him (because they did already lol) by (1) crippling one of the mechanics in Clark's team and then (2) bait the brothers with this idiot so that he can go into their team to sabotage them, when necessary.To do that, they have to go kind of a long way round, but they did make it work, but they will need some help. Introducing Lewis and his wife - the former in a wheelchair now - after the incident we have heard of last episode. Lewis wants the guy dead though, but you know, we don't really do killing here so you can do that yourself haha or just hire an assassin. Because as much as Laurent and the bunch will rip people off money, they won't kill them. They are "confidence man" by the way not "hit man" lol. Anyways, Lewis in the end did decide to let the wife help them though, so with her mediocre acting skills and Makoto's mediocre mechanic skills totally exaggerated by hired reporters and Kim who wanted to take him alive with her group of punks, gave the brothers an exciting story as to what happened after Lewis lost in an accident to Clark. Sounds reasonable, and Sam took in the bait. Turns out he likes people who are as evil as he is. That's good to know haha. More above that, he actually likes to gamble, so with the mention of Makoto actually involved in black market betting and egging Lewis to win (since they also don't know his true motive and is at place, letting them make the story up so I assume he won't let these guys out), piqued Sam's interest to bet on the air racing he was hosting all this time. You know, what's more than earning off a script of an air race? Betting on it and winning more. So on Makoto's recommendation, Sam went (of course, disguised) to the underground casino haha everything is rigged by them lmao good thing this Sam is into gambling. So yeah, that's first half of the plot done. We shall probably see in the next few weeks the conclusion to this scam where they try to get Sam to bet on Abbie so she can lose. The losing part might be easier than we think once we know Abbie's backstory which might be revealed by someone else because she probably doesn't want to talk about it twice anyways not like Laurent's mouth can be kept shut he even revealed Lewis is a former soldier lol no wonder he talks about killing haha hey bro you can't use guns here btw so do it somewhere else lol bye

Wow must Uzaki-chan make such a drama plot in the public? It's like she's made to be a drama series director or something lol poor Sakurai with the wicked eyes haha. Man, that's was some intro lol also why those women so bossy huh you want in too?? *laughs* Oh yeah the opening theme releases next week I have to make the decision now lol. In this new episode (#UzakiChan08) where the best thing in this series is to watch the Asai family meshi-kui (more like, loafing over people's... exciting lives) over the main couple haha OKAWARI when Sakurai started talking lmao, yes he talked about his night with Uzaki at his place to the other two nosy people which basically represents all of us haha. But again, I think this episode may have shown how they can settle things between themselves. Okay, maybe with a little push, but yeah, to restore Uzaki's lively personality and Sakurai's... great time with her haha dammit you don't know how many people are envious of you bro. *laughs* But somehow because of the incident last episode which is just basically her puking on his bed due to excessive alcohol consumption (they should've just laid that out to the bystanders first lol), Uzaki feels bad for (1) letting her senpai pay all of her drinks because I swear since she' not drinking beer which is the cheapest drink in the menu it's probably not good on his wallet and (2) the puking, on the bed. The toilet is fine; Sakurai probably slept for a night on the floorboard until he got a replacement haha. So, with a voucher in his hands, he invited out Uzaki to you know, lighten her up for the mood for you know, causing trouble to her senpai because really, what is life here when you don't interrupt other peoples' lives, right? (Someone please interrupt my life preferable a woman haha) (NO MOM NO lol) So, the two had a good time, it was getting stale because Uzaki still isn't as open as she is before (you know, shitting on her senpai), so as Sakurai has learnt from Ami-chan she just needs to be complimented, well, to the extent of being cocky, and that'll heal her up. Yeah, as in not by making her happier, but by knocking him out lol poor dude. In his time out (lol), we finally get a glimpse of their summer back when they were both in high school. A flashback, we call it. *laughs* We get to see younger, longer-haired Uzaki and Sakurai OH MY GOD THAT FACE lmao okay jokes aside, we get to see them in swimming club. Because that's where they spend time together, and bonded to become so-called friends, because Sakurai technically doesn't have any lol. Still, it's just about Uzaki being bad at swimming, and Sakurai cheering her up with some corn from the summer festival at night. How sweet isn't it? Probably it's also because of these little actions that got Uzaki into her senpai, but hey, I'm just speculating. *gets a bowl of rice and chopsticks and laughs* So yeah, that was quite the ending to finish the series I would love to get a second season... What? We're not done yet? *laughs* Yeah, I thought it was too fast for an ending here haha. Next episode.. you want a thrill, girl? How about sex- okay bye haha

Wow, what a week lol okay it's not I don't know why but I think that Scenarioart one is event... only... haha at this time of year? Oh well haha let's talk about what we have first then. the peggies' new single for Anime "KanoKari" is... well, I expected more and they disappointed, so girls, the music video for the B-side won't help too much in giving more songs besides the opening theme which was actually good in comparison. I'll probably just give the one song from Scenarioart's new mini-album because I don't know why it isn't out on streaming (maybe even download) but yeah, and last but not least, about Tsuki no Michikake. Long story short if you follow me on Twitter, their style appealed to me when I heard they composed a character song for a mobile game I'm still playing, and I wanted more. So yes, their only mini-album so far from 2 years ago wasn't bad, but it needs polish. (Yeah it even had a Chinese dialect song, don't ask me why) (They are also one of the guests back in Chatmonchy's final live) Even then, I'll still give a couple of songs so it'll pad the emotional tunes for the year tbh

On news concerning Twitter and beyond because that's where most of Japan is anyways, Game "Alternative Girls" released a new character song from Usui Miyuki - a masochist character in the game - but it's so healing I can't even so I recorded that down until they can give me the full song lol, Amamiya Sora's recent live on Blu-Ray is pretty good especially when you see her tied up and blindfolded haha (JOHNNY GO AWAY!! lol), I already created a playlist for Amamiya Sora on her birthday since why not we're only two songs away from this and her album is next week, I don't have money to pay for TrySail's studio livestream lol, and nano.RIPE's new music video collaboration is... not in the best album because they decided to sell them separately as singles from what I read on YouTube. Eh... I don't know I'll see what happens when it arrives; they are making this a lot more complicated then I thought. Oh, and since I noticed it, MixBox is a live streaming music service where you can hear songs from music label Lantis for 24/7. I don't know how long this will last but hey if you like their artists help yourself haha

So for next week, we have a slew of releases to kickstart September, from Amamiya Sora's new album which will probably the focus of next week, halca's new single which I hope will prove me wrong from the first time I gave it in Anime "Kaguya-sama", and Uzaki-chan's opening theme song... single we shall see about that haha. And Scnearioart's new songs if that mini-album refuses to appear but that's still on the list




Haha so glad I saw that, but I'm relieved to see Nagatsuma Juuri getting a main role in a... short Anime series aptly named "Dogeza de Tanondemita" (Trans.: I Asked For Favours On (My) Knees), with Sugita Tomokazu as main guy who just kneels (the characters name is also based on that lol), on a rotating cast of... mostly females so Juuri-chan here is joining Ogura Yui (haha), Tomita Miyu (ooo haha) and three others (lmao I don't even care), to get asked for favours from this guy. So yeah, it's most likely just setting out the scene, letting you think there is no choice to resolve this, and he just kneels and it always works lmao that sounds like an Anime to watch. Minase Inori - Kokoro Somari [Single]

(Close-ups are great, especially when it's Inorin, I promise you. Very deceptive cover too; more on that later)

Origin: Minase Inori-chan, I have done it. On your 8th single. So, about her. You might have known of voice actress Minase Inori, for she is famous of her roles in Anime, but also, of her powerful singing voice since she started in 2015, but it was not until 2016 and her 2nd single that I heard of her power in songs from record label (now) KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE, and along with any song that was given to her, her powerful voice still shines through the horizon, making her one of many power singers in the Anime music industry. Of her share of powerful songs and cute songs because she is, she also sings a good portion of motivational and emotional songs, and with her single in 2020 and her second time writing lyrics (her first composition and lyrics were on her 3rd album), she shows us how well she can present herself in music in many ways than other, even without writing lyrics. Let's see if this can represent her as a music artist, or even more.

(1) Kokoro Somari [Coloring Hearts]

From first chorus:

"With the warmth on (our) overlapping hands, (I'll) give you love anytime

Overflowing thoughts (that I have), (I'll) continue to convey (those thoughts) to you"

Okay, topic song and my first impression of this single. How can I describe this... I've not listened to good emotional songs for a while, and I think the whole package in this song makes it so good, I'm agreeing with the many people out there who might have been more impressed by the music video (not starring her, sadly), but honestly, this melody is as soft as it is of impact. Pair it with dear Inorin's lyrics which say about love and being together, it sure colours the hearts of her listeners, for it is sure to touch the hearts of many. For being an Anime theme song, this might be way too good and different from usual theme songs which ask for impact, but this one tells a totally different story. A story, even I would be touched singing into the last chorus. If you want a song with lyrics of impact, you need not look any further.

Rating: 4 stars (Heart-Touching Above Average)

(2) Bokura wa Ima [We Are Now]

From last chorus:

"Every single one (of us) are not alone, every single one (of us) is not determined as (we were) born

Tonight on this place, to the future (we) will create (a) legend that will pass down"

As the B-side which changed my mind, this is not only just a long melody probably the longest she has ever sung, but also it has a different background which will explain why it took this long for me to review this. Firstly, this was coincidentally or not, used as the theme song for her live tour after her 3rd album from last year, and of course, due to unforeseen circumstances, all of them had to be cancelled, sadly, but she held an online event to celebrate how far they have come, and give a proper conclusion to this... tragedy. By singing to be together in the present, the lyrics remind us about not being alone, that we can go through this together, for the future and beyond, and preserving till the end. If this doesn't make you like this song which might have lesser impact in the beginning, nothing will. Not even the subpar English used in the end as an emblem. Add on the usual Rock style in melody often used on this artist, it is enough to make me like the song as long as I have the mood. And you know, I happen to have it, which is why we are here now.

Rating: 4 stars (Motivational Average)

(3) Well Wishing Word

From first verse:

Cute song alert! Cute song alert!! This is my first impression of this song. And I tell you, I can use more of these songs because they don't come often. So it already wins in style points, literally, because they made Inorin sing a cute song. Kawaii style: checked. Then, the lyrics. One would argue all one would hear is "bye bye" in its contradictory lyrics which talk about being together but not really because of the times to be apart, it's kind of an awkward situation in love one would rather not get into, but in a positive sense. This is what I felt from it, and it might to you if you understand where this is getting from. Ignoring that, the melody is great even with the off-beat bridge part of the song which I tend to criticise, but overall it's a lovely song. The next time you hear the intro again, tell me if you will make an impression of this or not. That's how much it has gotten into me already, to be honest.

Rating: 4 stars (Lovingly Above Average)

Conclusion: This particular release was not expected mainly because of lack of mood to give one song, but now that I have given it I think this truly represents what music artist Minase Inori is today. From emotional, to cute, to happy and inspirational... she has everything covered. And with such a versatile yet powerful voice, it's hard to not give her a listen. As an Anime fan, as a music listener... she presents herself so well in music, you will give her any number of chances to impress.

Live Shinjigen no Mirai Dorobou* Edition

(Okay, I know it's Radio Version, so hear me out below. The covers though...)

Origin: We have come full circle, girls. Cue to their recent anniversary in June, celebrating five years of this unique voice actress group together. They had humble beginnings, stemmed out from Anime "Sora ga Seiyuu!", and as newbie actresses, took their first step into the music industry. Style-wise, they are one of the few who would go for a sensual experience instead of just releasing new songs, making them very unique in perspective in the growing industry of idols. Personally, I've heard of the three of them - namely from covers left to right: Takahashi Rie, Kouno Marika, Nagaku Yuki - since the beginning from the Anime, and of course more importantly, from their Limited Edition debut single which totally does not define them after their first album in the same year, then took over in singing songs in a variety of styles instead of following the Anison norm. Calling on their 3rd album here, they continue to amaze with music, maybe just words and chatter, but emphasis on what is close to the ear: earphones are recommended for best experience. With this one representing their music well, I think we can talk about it to our heart's content.

(1) churata churaha

From first chorus:

"Jumping into (my) dream world

(I) want you to be in happiness

But somehow staying around and rolling like (a) fool, (I) wonder why?"

As you can hear from the beginning till the end, besides the obvious never-ending vocals, it also presents a very rare style heard even in the Anime music industry: smooth jazz. Truly unique though, and coming from production of yet another derived band of producers, have I must say, come up with a masterpiece ever since I heard of it in 2019. Just purely for the melody and music, it's already enough to catch your attention. Of course, being Earphones, the focus on their marketing is actually, on the words used in their singing, or sometimes, speech. Such as kisses and whispers which are ASMR-like, it presents a different experience on a whole new level, literally. Overall, there's not a moment to relax on this lovely song, it's loads of awesome, and I can't compliment much. If you are okay with the occasional lack of singing, this is a wonderful melody, to say the least. The lyrics talk to space, as per credit to the Anime movie starring the three of them as the theme song.

Rating: 4 stars (Above Atmosphere Average)

(2) Wagamama na Allegory [(The) Selfish Allegory]

From second chorus:

"Walking hastily (along)

(The) scenery (is) going to go away

Slowly (our) bodies move by instinct in (this) parade, connecting while (marching) along"

Ah, this of course, was the deal breaker. And surprisingly, listening to this from the single I know why I liked the remaster from the album a year later already. Firstly, remember the producers of this single? Yes, they wrote this too, and interestingly, I did not take interest in it until I heard of this... re-produced by the same people, in gospel style. Yes, there is a much softer, quirkier version of this melody. Peeling off the shell that is the parade theme as can be heard from this release, the album version totally changed my mind of this song, and I came in to appreciate the melody more as I listened to it more, and is of course, how I ended up giving it. But yeah, initial impressions were way different, and I think it is indeed a good lesson to many producers out there as to how it'll change the song entirely if wrapped in a different package. The lyrics speak to a... play on the usual marching theme, and if you didn't find it familiar because it's meant as a credit for Christmas, you are not alone. But to be frank? I really prefer the album version, but this isn't too bad.

Rating: 4 stars (Album-Better-Than-Single Average)

Conclusion: It ended up to be a good single, since in Klassic Note we give melody, and with production changes, impressions change with time, and I'm glad to have given this a second chance with a different mindset. Other than that, Earphones is truly a piece of art in the saturated Anime music industry, so take some time to hear them out if you can, whenever they are not singing Anime theme songs, of course. Production made them so powerful, it challenges the way we think about music even as an Anime fan. Even if you are not a connoisseur, the first (topic) song should also leave an impression, if it hasn't already, for me.

THE PACKAGE

Let's talk about regrets surprises the origin for this package first. Man, storytelling is tough haha

So, because I bought both of these with a certain magazine *wink*, and totally missed the wave on a certain store (Gamers, by the way) by I think two days? Yeah, those guys were quick. So I ended up with HMV Japan which, even in the pandemic period, is prohibiting international shipping from its store which usually offers them, but yes, to pad the order, I then thought of giving Inorin's single with it to cover for local shipping because it's higher than if I bought it two days ago haha sadded

Problem is, that because I didn't think twice like what I did after it shipped off, is that I could've just went for the official store to get a chance of getting a free bromide gift which... I actually have with Earphones. Yeah, that single is one year old, by the way. I thought I would try my luck on getting it from their official store, and man, did I have a wide grin when I saw two items registered in the forwarding service hehe it's Marinka too so even better haha okay Rieri would be good too but it differs on store

BUT! I think the only consolation here for not buying it from the original store for Inorin's single is that, with every purchase of her CDs you already get a trading card in it. Yeah, so that's a relief. So, about her single though...

I was surprised to, besides seeing this small freebie hehe, also how differently the jacket (booklet) is done for this release. It might be the most unique one I've seen so far, using translucent material for the cover (and back too btw) and overlapping with white to show the "colouring" of the background with of course, yours truly. This truly is a wonderful physical release I can tell you despite the lack of bromide and inlet image DAMMIT now I really regret this even more now *sob*

So much for the live tour announcements, huh.

For Earphones, eh.. it's a normal package, to be frank. Again, if you don't think their style is already unique while of course, trying to fit in with that airline Anime they were starred on last year, you have not seen enough of life haha. But really, if you saw the making video of this you'll understand how hard it is to do a photo shoot with the three of them technically glued together in one outfit lol I want in too Nagaku Yuki go away haha
