The Welfare Package September 2023: What Otakus Actually Buy In Japan Part 5 feat. Melonbooks

This is probably this blog's biggest post yet, I had to prepare for this from Monday and lasted the whole week just because, and I conceptualized this almost a month ago to give credit to Japan's indie artists. And after following some of them for more than a year, I think I can confidently do this now.

This is the closest I can make it to a Comiket without actually being there. This is what people do if they had a lot of money (and didn't have to pay for international shipping) and actually went to every single booth out of the hundreds of them at Tokyo Big Sight to check them out.

This, is MY PENULTINATE REVIEW, of Japan's 102th Comic Market!!

Shall we begin?

THE ORIGIN

If you have no idea of the world of not Manga and Anime, let me fill you in. We are specifically talking about doujinshi, fan-made artwork which are initially derived from you guessed it, original comics and animations which are popular to the masses, but as I found out it's more indie in nature, from the world of anthology works and fanfics to even creation of originals that will stand out in the crowd. Comic Market ie. Comiket, is the biggest representation of all this and cosplay which is also another branch of Japanese culture where people dress up as their favourite Anime characters, is historically held in the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition hall for the past couple of decades. If not for the world being on fire for the past couple of years, which is why this one marks the first in-person event back on location instead of utilizing the Internet to promote them, spanning throughout the weekend of 12-13 August 2023.

Today, many of them artists take it up to the Internet to display their work on social media albeit for free, and they try to sell their artwork in physical form from time to time to keep up with their own passions. And that's why I started thinking of paying them my respects like I owe them all of this greatness, to save artists from being internationally abused or more commonly exploited on the Internet due to lack of consumer knowledge, putting their careers at risk. And I'm not even talking about the recent trend in AI and how these artwork drawn by humans will be used to fuel tomorrow's machine learning models.(I don't have to find examples authors just repost these fan observations of people stealing works without paying or crediting them)

So as you can see, there is plenty of motivation to do this despite the logistical hurdles which we will cover later. I've been into the doujin art platform Pixiv so much over the past year, so much so I actually put them up as phone wallpapers on days I don't want to see voice actresses lol why are you lying to your Ajuju *giggles* As to what made me end up with this and how I got what I have though, this will be a longer story to tell.

See, some of these artwork aren't exactly of age lol I'm not buying those, but still, among the websites to buy these, Melonbooks is easily the largest online store for such works, and here comes the first hurdle not mentioned in the 10 volumes of "Douki-chan" I've bought from not them: Users require Japanese identification in order to sign up. Yup, that sucks for me during end June when I was deciding on how to get this going, so my alternative will be to rely on proxy services which are aplenty nowadays because you just have to pay them more money. *silence* I chose to settle with Buyee instead of Zenmarket due to the latter's choppy ordering arrangements (I had to chat with them to align the local shipping fees and availability, they banned some of the items) (hehe), even though I was initially only motivated to buy Chigusa Minori-sensei's artwork in the form of postcards which are exclusively sold on Melonbooks (exclusivity is one of their tactics by the way). But over the course of the month of July, more new publications were announced on Melonbooks in dawn of a major event, I realized I could not miss out on just ordering some cards and NOT pad the order. *giggles* 

I only got around to order them using Buyee when August just started but this is where my issues actually began: Pre-order and everything else were ordered separately by Buyee. In regret, I now recall that Zenmarket will be able to compile and order them together, making me save on shipping fees and/or be able to align the timings for these orders considering that, and this is what got me anxiety for the past week, the initial list of items not on pre-order had to wait almost a month for the pre-order items to appear. *cringe* Almost had to pay for more money just to add additional days to keep the former batch on their warehouse. I even went on to inquire their staff on the latter batch via email because tracking wasn't even showing properly on their website which is probably more infuriating than I have thought. (So yeah, Zenmarket always from now on, me) 

THE PLAN

Remember when I mentioned I wanted to pad an order of just postcards from this Minori-sensei? Yep, that was the initial plan. I scoured the site to find more of the same type of product so I can showcase some sets of postcards out and not need to buy books since they were bulky and take up space in my room which is already chalked full of them (hehe). Eventually though, as Comiket closed in and more books were announced for the event itself, I could not help but consider why not support the artists the best I can by giving their books worth of photos- (ah hey, it's) illustrations a go?

As such, the plan now was to forsake any postcard orders and other types of merch (they have posters and body pillows if you want lol) and focus on illustration books (commonly known as "irasutoshuu") which:

• They can only feature originals so no anthology books which also means screw you "Otonari no Tenshi-sama" and your postcards haha I do not Anime here; Also no to fanart of mobile games specifiable "Blue Archive" fanart with their distinctive character halos, they have only been ruining my social media feeds lately
• They cannot be mature rated and Zenmarket can actually help me check that since they have to list it on their site first and will warn if it is not allowed (I didn't buy via them though *cringe*)
• They have to be sold in Melonbooks haha that's the whole point of the title
• The artists of these works can be found in Pixiv and/or Twitter/X and that's an assumption I make to all of them just for profiling purposes
• They must make art I like - Realistic character design, proportionate body figures, cannot have too much detail - and we will elaborate more on that later (Sorry for asking for perfection but what did you even expect out of this? Welcome to the world of 2D haha)
• They cannot be sold exclusively on location since I won't be able to buy them and promoting them on social won't matter in my case
• All the items total are to stay within 20k JPY (~200 SGD) in budget

We will from here on cover 11 other artists apart from Yomu-sensei which - because we did that recently but instead - will be replaced by the Comiket 102 catalogue made by Melonbooks themselves, we will talk about the purpose of that later.

THE ARTISTS

I feel like putting a summary here before we proceed, so here are all the artists in review based on various criteria which I think are relevant to our topic of conversation moving on. I will not, however, talk about their relevance in the industry because there will be no end to this but you may find some of them familiar here if you know of them, specifically in their involvement on character design of specific virtual YouTubers that I suppose are the thing these days in Japan's streaming scene.

In case you wondered, and I've bought their manga series 10 times already, Yomu-sensei was supposed to be in this package but I bought it separately as you have seen weeks ago, to maintain the trend of buying from Toranoana and getting their special gift (inconsistently). So yeah, they are in a different level. *giggles* Oh, and also why we don't talk about them because they have twice the followers on Twitter/X compared to Minori-sensei below. *silence* Haha that's how the world works dude

HOW IT ACTUALLY WENT

Well, let's talk about what went wrong. If you would recall, the plan was to get 12 books to review, 11 of them are featuring doujin artists and their own illustrations, but welp, that didn't go the way I want. Due to having to ensure the logistics will go my way, I hesitated for weeks in order to make the pre-order batch align with the others (and ordering them separately won't make this easier because storage time) so some items in the pre-order batch, just went out of stock.

And that was Nakamura-sensei's first illustration book under doujin circle RIKKA (which will be mentioned again later), and it sold out real quick considering they have quite a following online and people are quick to know about this. Still, I wish I was quick to the chase when there are several occasions where I could have placed a pre-order (due to updates on the site, people may cancel) if not for my dumb actions which I tried on the Thursday before its release date when I recall I was on course and I could've done on the morning I saw it was available, also in that weekend when I saw that happen again in the evening and it wasn't until late night did the proxy service catch up. I know, I can only blame myself, the biggest regret I have so far this year alone *wink*, and I cannot stop looking at that product page every day to see if any glimpse of hope will happen after its release date during the Comiket weekend.

So yeah, don't mind that! I can't keep dwelling on this. Maybe we can do this again and I'll try to get a copy! *sob*

Starting off, and this is probably the reason why I started all of this and ditched my initial plan of buying their character postcards, it's Chigusa Minori's illustration book! This is their first I believe, and it's about a couple of girls in involved with each other, to the point of sexually. Yes, this is the yuri couple that is frowned upon(?) in society and somehow alright in the world of Anime (lmao), even still, this is not a popular genre in itself. However against all odds, Minori-sensei impressed us with their lovely drawings, a somewhat compelling story now I'm less geared towards shy Shino-chan with a huge rack and more towards aggressive handsome girl Ren-chan, and I'm not going to mention how much gratuitous skin exposure (click at your own risk) you'll see on their works. *giggles* Still, I've followed them a long time coming I'm pretty sure they are the first for me on Pixiv equivalent to marupi-chan on Instagram (not relevant but) which makes this more impressive than I can ever thank them for.

Next up, and I'm surprised I'm more excited after I've seen it for myself, this is 92M's illustration book for their regular comic series "Kinshi no Ane"! I knew of this series mostly due to them being somewhat idolizing of Yomu-sensei on social, and despite the kinda lacklustre drawings, I think what drew me in the most is the lore, and boy I really should not say that, about a sibling relationship where the elder sister loves her younger brother too much. *silence* We will unveil that as I talk about the book in a bit, but I feel like I may have caught up with all the story and not have to go with my initial plan of buying now FIVE volumes of the comic series. As you will also see the dialogue is drawn in unlike actual Manga which are typed in, so it's a bit hard to read even by my proficiency level. *giggles* Still, this is a wonderful series with delightful pictures of an elder sister to please (hehe), so if you are into *ahem* not *ahem* sibling love this will go right up your- Ears, ears haha there isn't Anime adaptation here but you fancy ASMR?

There's a lot more lore on this though so if you are any interested I IMPLORE you to buy the whole series down and tell me the story lmao *dabs*

I feel like we should have done this before all these but heck, let's do it now! This is Melonbook's C102 Catalogue where obviously Melonbooks curated a bunch of artists with their artworks to give you a general idea of what is going on in the doujin fair! Interestingly, they also sold a more complete edition featuring 120 artists but then that did not come with event tickets so that you can actually spend even more money considering that there is ALSO a rated version of the catalogue featuring mature artists which obviously I didn't buy or else I can't even show you the cover lol. But otherwise this is just a smaller selection of 23 artists so that I can talk about some of them, and overall it's just a more expensive illustration book featuring artwork you might not like. *silence* Hey it isn't too bad you can judge it for yourself!

Alright we can move on for now and talk about the rest and I promise it won't be as long as the first two above, we have reached pure territory people and this is a rarity in my opinion or maybe it's because they are Taiwanese, this is Hiten's spring season illustration book! This is their 15th already so talk about experience in the field this might be the longest, I followed them after what legends I've seen from them that I can stare at forever, and ironically, I did not buy their book for this Comiket. *silence* This is also one of those cases where the older illustration books caught my eye more, so I went with their latest spring season book! Trust me, and I'll show you how I have made the right choice real quick, and also expect this to be the average size of these books which cost below 1000yen, we are in that price range now. Easy on the wallet, is what doujinshi are known for, by the way. They should not cost a bomb so it's an easy entry to liking the rest of their work.

Actually I like all of their brushwork I now regret not buying the summer book and the dozen other books they have released I WANT THEM ALL- (See?)

Alright so next up, and damn I'm sorry for saying the long ones are over because this one Miwano Ragu's 10th anniversary illustration book is obviously worth 10 years of content from them, I think specially done for Comiket 100 which was last year so I missed it totally haha, still think their artwork is very jack-of-all-trades awesome, a master at none but whatever they draw, however they draw is very representative of their animated style, and I can confidently say I liked 80% of the 50 images they showed. I mean, less talk more images, I guess! Captivation is what I think the theme is to be frank, it's just amazing imo

This one I took a little fancy on them mainly because of the slightly more emphasized lines in their drawings which I think I got used to, and I think they got me time and time again on Pixiv so I decided to give their latest publication a go. Yeah, it's as if they set me up to buy this book, which will be what most of them here are also so don't think too much into that. *giggles* Also don't be too surprised to see sellout portions here, they are currently doing a gallery in location? That's cool actually, being able to see people admire your work at this modern day and age. And that's why they have half a million followers on Twitter/X? If you aren't impressed, I am. Oh boy let's keep this train going we are in newbie territory now I think, this is Sano Hiyori's very first art book for Comiket 102! I have to say right off the bat though, for being quite a newbie in the field I think they started 2 years ago, the drawings are quite up to (my) standards and I'm really impressed on what I see though I also see a lot of skin but what is Anime without some cleavage and revealing outfits, isn't it? *laughs* Jokes aside, I actually saw this while I was thinking of what to put in my cart from Melonbooks, and despite how hard it is to use their filter functions, I managed to see this gem within the pile of books sold, and did not hesitate to take their work into consideration. I think this is what it feels like to like bunny girls then- Wait. *laughs*

Moving on towards pureness again because I wonder why I can't just buy these artwork and move on haha rack is where all the money's at apparently, this is Komizuki's very first illustration book! It's not meant for Comiket and this was released end of last year which was a compilation of their works over the past few years from back in 2019 where they were even softer in their art, but for me though I noticed their work most because of their fine drawings against soft and balanced backgrounds so good they can be desktop wallpapers if you have not noticed that sooner than me or the artist themselves as they write their comment in the book. That is probably the ideal combination I can think of with regards to these art forms so see Hiten-sensei again, and this is probably more along the lines of what I think doujin art is and is worth following. I may be wrong, but I think this purchase is right, you can't stop me. *giggles*

Oh boy I hope you enjoyed some cute girls in beautiful backgrounds without showing any skin whatsoever, because I'm going to continue back the summer trend from here on with (their full name is long so I'm going with) FuwaOmu's first illustration book! I was first fascinated from the cover of this book in the Melonbooks store so they just dropped in as quick as Hiyori-sensei but maybe a little later (hehe), and I think what got me into them is definitely keeping to the Anime-like drawing standards someone made a decade ago I don't even know who now, but heck, if this is something standard and beautifully drawn, I cannot say no. Thank goodness the author did not pursue AI artwork in their comment or else I may have broken a record here lol, but they are working on NFTs and using AI to help out on their drawings in some way so meanwhile let's preserve this as their best hand drawn work. The theme here is devils in lingerie as hinted by the cumulation of words in the title. *silence* Simple enough. *laughs*

Man, I like this trend of firsts in these artbooks because damn are there a lot of firsts here for the lot of them which are actually great starting points to encourage them to sell some of their artwork for all to see. This one though, is KUREHA's illustration book release for C102! They did not get a slot on this Comiket and the upcoming winter one though and that's a pity, but that does not stop them from releasing something to commemorate the occasion. Actually, they have released TWO books for the occasion, with one of them, uh, rated R-18 in Japan. *laughs* Of course, the one I possess is not the one that will get me banned, I think what might have gotten me when I saw their works on Pixiv from time to time is likely the focus on very sizable proportions of a woman which many men want and I as a heterosexual male won't deny I want a perfectly packaged girlfriend or anything, but honestly saying anything goes for me at my age and this one's 18 too. I meant the character in this book, not the artist. *laughs* But I would argue that this might be more than borderline unsafe for my everyday viewing standards (haha) and just like 92M-sensei, they have a (Pixiv) FANBOX account where they let you unlock not just high resolution images, but those with more skin to the point of nudity. *silence* I shall elaborate no more I'm not going to sub to see those anyways haha you are also won't get to see them here

I think of this as I watched a video about Oppenheimer by Veritasium on YouTube. He was the only person who regretted making the atomic bomb. About its impact on nature but more importantly, about its impact on innocent life. Not to dabble on politics, but war initially started as a conflict with humans. We started with our bare hands, then tools, then removing the humans from the equation. With that, we feel less and less remorse on the damage we do to other because the other side feels the same. 

Is it war that will end conflicts? If so, I'd rather it was done by hurting each other physically facing eye to eye, than it be done by a man-made chemical reaction that no one can see.

Anyways haha welcome to the new month ignoring which week of the year we are on now lol I'm sorry for the post title I guess, still! There is much anticipation for just the month of September alone and I still don't know if that's a good thing or not considering the upcoming packages are all over the place haha, but we shall see. At least I know we got more CD reviews coming my way- I know right, reviewing CDs not even vinyls- Welcome to 2023, by the way. *laughs*

FIELD TRIP LET'S GO!!! In case you wonder how the groups work in this, we allow mixed genders. Haha who am I joking they are only middle schoolers. *giggles* In this new episode where we get to go to everyone's favourite outing location in school haha well at least one isn't that (#SukiMega09), I like how the two being a thing is a thing in class now. *laughs* I mean, do we even need NINE episodes for this to happen? BRUH. *laughs* Also TRIPLE DATE LET'S GO- Ah hey, if the girls aren't interested in you, the other two guys, I'm sorry. *giggles* But heck, maybe this isn't as exciting as I would have expected. It's not a school trip, after all. Those are different. In this one, they had to go visit I would assume a museum, and do up reports. Boring, but damn, still more interesting than being in the classroom the whole day, so why not? Problem is, if you need a reminder of the show title, someone will forget her glasses. A certain someone, not gonna say who. Not even the 3 guys who joined in on the girls' group just in case we need a Komura to take care of a particular Mie-san. *giggles* You get the idea haha, but Mie-san did come prepared though, bringing her spare glasses in her bag in case she, you know, forgot to wake up on time and ran out of her house without her glasses as usual. *laughs* But heck, this time around she broke it, so yup still within expectations, just that she didn't bring the right pair of spare glasses. Really though, why buy a fake pair of lens and you can't even preserve the ones you have? *sigh* Haha oh well, at least we got Komura here. *laughs* So as you would have seen, she did fake her viewing of the exhibits in the museum in Kamakura so she can do the report, but considering she can see close to nothing and can't get close to it, this is going to be rough. Thankfully Komura saw that from a mile away haha, and told her to see the writings on the walls, those accompanying text, to get an idea of what is happening. Genius play right here, but this also made Mie-san feel real bad for not being normal and be able to do things by herself like the rest of her classmates, including, and Asuka she is spot-on once again, finding her way around. And this isn't even a school trip level thing, by the way, we all go to the same place to gather. *laughs* And she is feeling pretty apologetic about it too. Uh, I mean, don't mind! *laughs* Ah, what else is new. What is new though, is how Mie-san actually feels real bad right now, but still does not get why Komura would go all the way out to help her. We're just friends, don't worry about it. Oh, this is just a draft by the way, can't get the actual proposal thing out yet. *giggles* Also we love you lose your glasses so the author can keep up with the lore haha she can't know that. But in an effort to know that, and I like where this is going I also expect this too, is the secondary character romance lore from Asuka hanging out with her boyfriend-to-be? Let's just say it is, Mie-san. *laughs* And Mie-san saw the same expression on Komura when she stares at him good even with contact lenses. You see where this is going now? AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY YOU DON'T KNOW OF LOVE YOU ARE 15- All in all... dear Komura, how bad do you think you will lose all hope for not being with Mie-san? Huh, what do you think? You want to look at my love life and compare right now? *laughs* Anyway, it's always fun to notice a girl with a GLARING weakness haha get it because with glasses especially a new pair? Haha because guess what, it's hard to find someone like this no more. At least, weaknesses not obvious to the human eye. Or maybe I'm dumb, that's probably the case. *laughs* I like the progression (not lenses) here though, and hopefully, fingers crossed, that Mie-san will figure this infatuation from her classmate sitting next to her. Or whatever they are kissing, we can't do this for real anyways. Haha see you then this is already more interesting than last week imo

HELL YEAH VIOLA haha did you even see the intro. *laughs* That's how you do character design dude, just make the cutest girl in this series. *giggles* In this new episode where I'm hyped up on something apparently (#ShinigamiBocchan20), looks like it's hype about plot, and boy did we get a lot of that, so let's. Firstly, Viola-chan came in to visit Cuff-san haha yes not Zain and not like he cares about Viola too BOOM got her chest, is probably trying to fill up the empty noblewoman hole by hanging out with others unlike her loner mom whose husband is probably dying soon lol, is slowly but surely taking in some advice from Cuff-san at a time where she is in love and also she has no parents so nothing to stop her from doing anything. Though for Viola if being a fashion designer or stylist is her passion, heck, why not? Also, the mom might not even have a say if Walter takes over and I can't wait for that to happen. *giggles* I know right, screw Bocchan being the oldest in the household I like Daleth's flashback of an illusion more where Walter's the elder brother. *laughs* Speaking of which, we gotta deal with the intruders into the Sabbath earlier. Well, there's the Daleth getting high from Walter's gentlemanliness which I do not possess so damn you second son haha. Also, he is still totally right on how useless the brother was but mostly due to lack of exposure. Because really, how are we even going to build his social skills up if he keeps killing the people he meets just from shaking hands? So yeah, bit of a problem which comes out from the same hole as the one Daleth just opened, where she shows the rest to Sharon's current resting place... but not really she is just asleep. Yeah, like in Sleeping Beauty, just that one kiss won't wake her up. *sigh* Walter, you want to try? *laughs* Oh heck, considering this and Bocchan's curse stemmed from the same witch and who knows if she is still alive she might as well not be at this point, then I rather just be asleep instead of walking about anyways. In Daleth's flashback though, the only thing we really missed until now was Sade showing up near the mansion with Daleth herself, and if this sister had even considered stopping Sade for whatever reason, things would have been different. But just seeing her in her flashback is giving her the creeps, so maybe we save that for next time. But after showing us all this? Yeah, we can trust Daleth I guess. On the other hand, there's someone else we can't trust now. *cringe* Somehow Rob is under so much suspicion I wonder why we haven't got to that lol maybe for another episode, but more suspicious is how a genie lamp appeared on their doorstep, once again courtesy of Zain. The genie is able to remove his curse though, but only by moving it to another person. Sadly Bocchan can't bear to see someone else suffer instead of him lol implied is Rob if you didn't notice he's old though so he'll be fine lmao, and we are back to square one. You know, a glimpse of hope but not really. Just like how the two actually shared a kiss but not really actually. All in all... *sigh* haha I can't be more sad already, thanks. *laughs* Serious talk though, we are that desperate already, by the way because SAME lol. Two seasons in already. Walter's going to take over the household already as he should. *giggles* Yeah, Zain and Cuff are dating already. What else? Haha yeah just these two main characters to be honest. And boy am I glad we didn't get to see Viola-chan die someday while touching Rob lol that would suck, among other things that might happen considering the garden of the mansion just turned brown all of a sudden haha. Still, great progress, we are clearing things up, I know this story has an ending it's just whether they are going to conclude it in this adaptation, and I can't wait to be satisfied if they give us the proper ending. Only one way to find out by watching it till the end, I guess.

[TL:DR; I would argue though, that if we are going to move the curse and not be able to destroy it, then maybe move to someone who already wants to die. But uh... maybe we have to ask around for this haha maybe they won't die by then and be evil and wreck havoc- Okay maybe not then lol]

Oh well, if we want the Hunting Dogs in I guess we have to be their dog- Wait. *laughs* In this new episode where I am just waiting for the drop and it's not when Atsushi drops Teruko on the airport carpet lol (#BungouStrayDogs58), well Atsushi's ending came in real fast once he realized that Ranpo-san is always telling the truth while the Hunting Dog member in front of her is still most definitely not trusting him in any way possible, so he's pretty much done for at this point. This is the direct opposite for Tetchou's case though as he continues his fight with Kenji haha yes "continue" means his opponent is still very much alive, and as he tries to deal the final blow, he was informed of Atsuhi's fate and not like Kenji didn't hear it, so he raged and boy do we not want to anger this farmer. Just like how farmers will rage if a landslide comes ruining their harvest for the year haha ask those American farmers now at this time of year with the seasonal floods, as heard from Kunikida, Kenji once saved his village from disaster mainly because his rage was incited by the death of his buddy, leading him to move Earth as if his mother is really the planet itself, which piqued Fukuc- Fukuzawa (lol rookie traitor mistake) as he visited the lands to find out what happened back then. So turns out, this is likely Kenji's ultimate power as we have seen with Akutagawa and Chuuya and yes trust me I Ranpo-san'ed this out last night thinking about how Kenji would have survived this, and this is pretty much it. No human power will be able to deal with this even if they are trained or even genetically modified human, because you are dealing with essentially The Terminator. *laughs* Or mother nature itself, one would argue. So there's that, the two did end up in a draw since Kenji's rage can't carry him that far... yet. *giggles* Then again Tetchou might have realized his mistake for not following Bram and Aya-chan but heck, does that even matter at this point. Hehe hints for later, but let's bring ourselves back to the prison. Remember the 30-minute game Nikolai set out for the 2 prisoners? Well, instead of figuring out how to get the antidote, Dazai thought of killing his opponent first. Makes sense, easier than escaping this hell of a prison, but it's also because Sigma kind of figured out why he's this relaxed. Well, to keep the steady heartbeat transmission for sending messages to outside of the premises of course, but also, how that can be done in reverse. He didn't need to I guess, if orders are always sent out Ango-san can figure something out. Something like making an agreement with other prisoners (by the way) to stop time in the prison so Dazai can take over the control room because what better way to make sure you are in charge is to kill the people in charge and never tell anyone about it? Haha yeah, this is basically an Aizen-controlled Central 46 for you "BLEACH" fans out there haha, where central command has been taken over from the beginning, to influence decisions made from the top. Easy. Even say now, if Dazai wanted to kill Fyodor, it's as easy as changing all the passcodes on the cards so Fyodor is doomed to fail from the start, even if he thinks security bypass is the hardest thing to go around which, I assumed he tried, and didn't know he was dealing with this much resistance. Well, Fyodor has his way of communication too, so he might get out. And we don't talk about Aya-chan's fate with Bram in the carpark haha. I mean, Fukuchi's a military expert, right? Eventually he will catch on to her plans. All in all though, damn this is quite the development, and I'm still glad this series still has stuff we don't know about that can change things around, as much as we really do not know a lot about them anyways. From Kenji to Dazai to Bram with the stick up his rear TWICE lmao, each of them delivered their own part of history related to the story without forgetting we are essentially dealing with a bunch of geniuses, so yeah, I admit defeat. Just stab me in the head with the sword for the third time, please. *laughs*

BRUH where can I get a Mini-chan in my life? For now though, even just at this point, Chizuru herself can't help but say more thanks to this producer of a not boyfriend who suggested making this a reality so that her elders will be proud of her pursuing of her dreams, just like the grandpa egged her to do so. Turns out, this isn't far away from us as the drama takes a turn, and Sayuri is once again in hospital. Problem is, this one, she might not live till Kazuya's grandmother comes to visit her. Yup, it's that time now. All the lies that they said, all her dreams she wanted to achieve right now with a substitute because damn this was for the grandfather too... So now what? As the couple (lol) argue in the hospital about the lies that they said, and Kazuya did also hint that to Sayuri even though it doesn't even matter the old woman wanted to record it for her late husband by the way hehe, when will this be the truth? And Chizuru has no reason to say it's anyone's fault: All of them went along with her further than the reverse. Yeah, Chizuru is going to go to her grandma and tell her Kazuya is going to break up with her unless she wakes up, right? This is it? This is how the drama works? *silence* All in all... *sigh* As I listen to the ending theme song which I think the artist Amber's mentioned before this was their first version before the studio version was made... *sigh* I can't. Hey Chizuru chasing your dreams is fine though, but are you chasing a dude? Asking for a friend. *laughs* Yeah, they can make this not a lie, isn't it? Ruka-chan will be devastated but that relationship is also not real so why not settle for this one right now? They say it's a great time to walk into a woman who suffered from a traumatic event... heck, which drama didn't make use of that to tell a love story? Maybe Kazuya you can try this out. *giggles* Anyways, really trying to make this light-hearted but I guess we don't have much time even for that now we are burning through this like Sayuri's life depends on it, so we shall see what happens next. Yes, my vision is basically as Kaoru in Japanese movie "A Song to the Sun": she will not live to see the final product. Let's see how bad this goes then.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note

Well, ask me if I want to give the new Anime "Shinigami Bocchan" opening theme this second season. *silence* I might as well already at this point I haven't by the way in case you wondered. Moving on, GRANDODEO's new single released this week isn't actually too bad at all, it did make me want to give chance to their B-sides until I didn't, so maybe we not talk about also Kamiyama You's new single which also did not get me where I hoped it will as I still struggle to give the title song. Maybe we ended this week on a bad note, huh. Hey, at least August is over and done with in terms of Anime songs...? Haha not yet though we still got another week.

There are news happening in the music industry this week and I meant specifically in Japan and within my reach. Kamiyama You's live video is for his new song which I still haven't given yet and probably will anyways because damn I really don't like this style of music. Ryokuoushoku Shakai's new live video is for the other song in their upcoming single so I guess I've heard them all and am still not impressed haha let's forget about this and give it objectively in a couple more days. Tsuji Shion's singing in the karaoke room got me somehow so this is just for me. ClariS' new song will be for Anime "KanoKano" season two and boy I wish they weren't even here but heck I can't even control that now these girls are only printing out songs at this point so let's hope it's good. We got a little teaser of Hitsujibungaku's new song for Anime and it doesn't sound too bad so let's hope the full song will be good when the music video appears next week. SIX LOUNGE has confirmed their new full album due this month actually I didn't even see that and I don't know why but heck which means we can pick up the pieces we missed in the year with those digital singles. yanaginagi's new single is due in October and yes it's for Anime thanks for asking. fuzzy knot is revealing their new music video in an upcoming livestream next week so if you want some good sh*t maybe tune in or just wait a lit for the reveal I guess. Ryokuoushoku Shakai is once again appear in THE FIRST TAKE in case you don't know about this single attempt music live YouTube channel, they sang their new song. And in case you didn't have enough news from them, RyokuShaka will also be doing a studio live next week for their upcoming single so be sure to tune in to listen to their newest and classics. 

Next week though, we aren't quite done with Anime, so I'll deal with Omoinotake's new single considering this is for Anime and Limited Edition I can't buy it though, and of course their new album when it drops by just because I'm such a nice guy to give them chance. What I can buy though is w.o.d.'s new single which I forgot to check if it exists but turns out it does, and I've effectively given the single at this point already so maybe I should spend some time thinking of where to get the CD from. *giggles* Ryokuoushoku Shakai's new single which was delayed and did not appear last month, will be a good time to appear this week instead so let's see if we can give a couple more songs from at this point, Klassic Note's most aspiring music artist. Well, it has already come out but still. *giggles*




I did promise to do a roundup of The Fanfiction series I've done in the past couple of months but since I'm lazy and I want to take more naps haha don't mind me, I shall do a quick summary of what Aozaki Shouhei is and where he is at with the ladies around him to far:

• Recently moved to the Natsukawa family with my single parent and now have three new stepsisters including Natsukawa Shiina
• Currently working in the same company as Takahashi Rie
• Confessed to Amamiya Sora during our high school days and got rejected
• Good at cooking due to being mocked at for not being able to
• Might only be an acquaintance to Asakura Momo, but she is secretly infatuated with me
• Occasionally live with Natsukawa Shiina at her family's place
• Currently living in a personal bungalow, near the bottom of a hillside
• Once sheltered Hanazawa Kana from a pouring rain, in that very bungalow
• Indebted to Minase Inori for saving my live due to an unknown incident
• Live near Waki Azumi and frequently visit the footbath in the neighbourhood
• Currently dating Koga Aoi, who has doubts about my relationship with other women

Wow, that's a lot to take away from just two months of short stories. *giggles* Moving ahead though, I might focus on doing APoL or probably not, then I'll think of other stories which will make sense and I can find material for, specifically the images. *laughs* See you next time for more lore if I can come up with more, but until then I may have to start preparing for the upcoming blog posts which will require a lot more time to think about and/or prepare for considering the next package is where I replicate an online experience on going to the recent Comic Market 102 ie.
