The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #2

Argh, having bad dreams every night now literally. Probably will change after tonight, but considering how little experience (or none) (lol) I have at work I hope tomorrow will be a good day. Or next week will be a good week. But in the world of entertainment, it will be. I assure me. *laughs*

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Damn this episode (#3Lion12) is starting out strong with YUKI singing the opening theme song, I must say. Okay, theme songs aside first, the story itself. Kiriyama recovered from his flu from like, two weeks ago (it let me wait that long, okay?) and now we move on to his shougi matches. We have quite a clear path to what is happening, and that Kiriyama's fate may be to face of with someone he has, I would say, a physical woe, in place. Don't ask me what he did to Kyouka to deserve him getting beaten considering Kyouka loves a married man and Kiriyama just got dragged in to this somehow I guess, but still. We'll definitely hear of that b*tch again in future episodes, so that's something to (not) look forward to. Other than that, I can see why Kiriyama must ditch the warm live of the Kawamoto sisters, but then again he kind of has a reason. Remember the last time he was accepted into a family and he ruined it? Yeah. That's what I was thinking when Momo wanted him to stay over at night.
I like how the author wants to make the poor kid get his cold back lol
Damn those word puns are forcefully bad. #throwback to Hatsukoi Limited for more
P.S. Kiriyama Rei may be too kind, but that is also his strength. To be blessed with people who will help him along the way. Like his stepdad, or Akari-san.

アニメ Winter 2017 Anime Preview
Also, this season Anime I intend to watch include (other than the above) ACCA (the awesome trailer theme song you don't want to miss) and Kuzu no Honkai (just because of Anzai Chika probably and how different a romance plot it is to that revenge one lol), both which are airing next week. Their source material manga have completed, so we will likely have determined endings to watch. This season in Anime is looking good.

漫画 Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
This new chapter (47) which I somehow had a peek when they mentioned on their Twitter that an online raw version is out, but hey, it's Colette-chan yet again! This time, the topic is recycling. For weirder reasons than ever, like "I haven't finished my drink" and "a poster of white space" kind of weird. Then again, she meets a familiar person who teaches her about some eco. That usual Colette makes me think how perfect Sumipe is the voice actor for her role, really.
Clumsy Colette-chan, or failed second prototype?
It's up to you to decide which is funnier haha

漫画 Nagasarete Airantou
And there it is. A monster. A youkai. I don't know what. But now I do. An ancestor is back. That doesn't sound like good news for the previous chapters up till this one (149) that I probably dislocated already, but still. Ikuto got his senses back, and likely the "old lady" wants to test him by kidnapping his two dearest females in his life. (It's like she knows lol) Well, at least, on this island for now. This might get a little interesting if I can piece the story together (damn scans took a long time), so we shall see that for ourselves.
Well that's a prank you will play on the Northern leader if you have guts.
Or if you're as good as this kid lol

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
Well this one is going to be tough. I have not been listening to songs for half the week, there aren't any live performance sources I can watch from last year now (forum user RIP), so I decided to use Apple Music to some extent. As will be mentioned in another review I'll do in about two months time lol, Apple Music gave me access to many artists that I have not yet been able to just because the Internet doesn't like it. LILI LIMIT's new album came into scope this week, and I only gave one song, but I guess besides the topic song there are some good ones in their latest EP, so I'll give that a chance or two soon. Tsuzuri Zukuri's music library is now open to me, so I gave their previous albums a listen too. Goose house's new single which shall be the first release of 2017 (as of Klassic Note at least) isn't that disappointing, and what's better is that their new album is not far away too.

Which brings me to my next point. This month may not be much in Klassic Note, and releases will only start appearing near the end of the month and next month, but the good news is a lot of them are albums from artists I've been listening to for the past few years, which is no doubt good news. It may not be much now, but still.

Also, I've been playing games from Japan lately and one which had a theme song probably will be on my list soon. Hey, who can resist a good pop song, yes? I guess, but then again it's also because the source is available... I guess? Damn, I guess I'm not feeling right...

Cya guys next week then, where everything will be better by then. Until next time... I wish for my wait of time to be liberated. Soon. Really, it's just all me. I'm not in the mood to do anything. See? I can't even finish Chapter 16 as promised. Well, that one, I think I'm stuck. And I'll need a lot of thinking to see the story flowing logically again. I can't say much, but it's all a setup in a new arc, yes? See you all next Sunday.

P.S. I'm also considering preparing for Klassic Note 10th anniversary (if you've heard about it on Twitter) by releasing posts every week to talk about various stuff I experienced and have gone through these years being an audience in the Japanese music industry. I wanted to start soon but we shall see. We're not in a rush here if I want to write quality posts haha

THE OFF-NOTE PROJECT 2016: Songs That Didn't Make The Cut…

Yes, you're not in the wrong place. And no, it's not me trying to re-brand anything. Perhaps, it's the perfect way to explain these fallen tunes...

Hey, and welcome to that promised post. Every year I give so many songs, but there will be that many songs that I don't. Reasons are unlikely justified, but it gives me reason to explain to you what songs I would give and what I wouldn't, with or without restrains of any kind. Still, whether giving it or not that's how it works, and I think it's just as important to share it with you.

Also, I noticed the importance of some of the songs being reinstated to their decision state, and into the final list. Thus, 2.99 stars is no longer an adequate measure of what is to come. So, with a new title, let's talk about some of them.

(This time I will talk about prominent ones that I decide not to give, and how much it has impacted on my life ie. obstinate enough such that it wants to get back on my list but didn't lol. Those that did get back are not in this list fyi)

[In preview chronological order]
Single: Right Now
Artist: ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION
  • Song Title: Right Now
Reason: I cannot remember anything from this song. Okay, just a little from the chorus.
Single: BANG!BANG!BANG!
Artist: Silent Siren
  • Song Title: Star drops
Reason:Weak verses, even though good chorus.
Album: FIXION
Artist: THE ORAL CIGARETTES
  • Song Title: A-E-U-I
Reason: If written more driven to the beats of A-E-U-I may be more appealing as a song.
(The above probably got stuck in my head for a while. They can write catchy songs but that's it, which is a pity. Also explains why I only gave B-sides of their singles this year.)

Album: Doubt no Koshin
Artist: Kuso Iinkai
  • Song Title: Fuzai Shoumei
Reason: If it sounds like the topic song of this album, then why the heck am I giving it?
Album: Origin
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Goodbye
Reason: Nice chorus, fails at everything else.
  • Song Title: Diver
Reason: Not because it's a Naruto theme song, but the verses are not good.
Album: Mi Kara Deta Uta
Artist: Takezawa Migiwa
  • Song Title: Arasuji
  • Reason: Melody was rather weird overall.
Album: S
Artist: Silent Siren
  • Song Title: Cherry Bomb
Reason: Weak verses, and especially if when you listen to the best songs the band has got, this is far from that.
(Same problem as THE ORAL CIGARETTES, I guess. The verses were really not memorable)

Single: Toumei na Onnanoko
Artist: Hanazawa Kana
  • Song Title: Toumei na Onnanoko
Reason: Not what I expected. Missing the days Kana-chan sings songs that sound impressive after much listening.
Single: Bye Bye Blue
Artist: Kotobuki Minako
  • Song Title: "YES"
Reason: Melody too generic to feel any form of impact, maybe due to too many out-of-place notes?
(From the above I believe that the Kotobuki Rock fever is nearly over.)

Album:Point.
Artist: Primary
  • Song Title: Hope
Reason: I get where they are going with this song, but the tempo maybe a little too heavy to be acceptable.
Album: Undertow
Artist: THE BED ROOM TAPE
  • Song Title: Hook
Reason: I gave it a lot of chances. It didn't seem to impress me, mainly due to lack of song structure and/or repetition.
Album: all time Lovin'
Artist: Toyosaki Aki
  • Song Title: Ginga Station
Reason: Second half of the song (after second chorus, not the first) was disappointing.
(Above is the reason why I can't never a perfect album. Sorry, Aki-chan. Wasn't your fault.)

Album: Cho Ikimonobakari ~Ten Nen Kinen Members' Best Selection~
Artist: Ikimonogakari
  • Song Title: Koiuta
Reason: Style of song too strong, thus lacking in appeal to me.
Album: TWELVE
Artist: Mrs. GREEN APPLE
  • Song Title: Watashi
Reason: Very irritatingly implied of love, though overall melody is good.
  • Song Title: Hug
Reason: Why the gay voice? It was a nice melody.
Album: D.A.N.
Artist: D.A.N.
  • Song Title: Dive
Reason: If not for the lonest introduction and weird voiceovers before the song itself this would be easy to give.
Single: Vision/Nijuu Rasen Kouzou
Artist: Kuso Iinkai
  • Song Title: AI
Reason: Verse does not align with chorus, it seems.
Album: What a Wonderful World Line
Artist: fhana
  • Song Title: Relief
Reason: English? Now this is sooo not going to be in list, despite the decent melody.
Album: heavenly
Artist: SpecialThanks
  • Song Title: KOKOKARA
Reason: I'd love to give the instrumentals, but that is as much as it is good at.
Single: ninelie
Artist: Aimer
  • Song Title: Speaker
Reason: Everything is good, but the vocals is not. Aimer is not suitable to sing this IMHO
(A real pity, this one.)

Album: Brighter
Artist: ikkubaru
  • Song Title: seaside
Reason: Sounds like QUATTRO, but not good enough.
Album: Sail Canvas
Artist: TrySail
  • Song Title: Ashita mo Hareru
Reason: For more reasons than other which this song resembles many but worse, this will not be accepted.
  • Song Title: primary
Reason: Sounds great, but melody is not uncoordinated.
Album: eve
Artist: cinema staff
  • Song Title: Kirifuda
Reason:Very poor bridge, rest of song melody cannot cover this portion of the song.
Single: Atarashii Uta
Artist: Hanazawa Kana
  • Song Title: Looking for your Smile
Reason: Failed at the bridge part of the song due to its over extended nature. Otherwise has good chorus and verses.
Single: Princess
Artist: miwa
  • Song Title: Shan Ran Ran
Reason: And this was an Anime theme song. No wonder it isn't even worth mentioning.
Single: Miss. Revolutionist
Artist: Taketatsu Ayana
  • Song Title: Miss. Revolutionist
Reason: Mostly due to versea and particularly bridge part of the song, otherwise is a good melody overall.
(The above also got stuck in my mind for a good time. I can still hum the chorus. Oh no, I better not)

Album: Tomatsu Haruka BEST SELECTION -starlight-
Artist: Tomatsu Haruka
  • Song Title: Circle
Reason: Verses and bridge weak, chorus is good.
  • Song Title: In Our Hands
Reason: Very good chorus, but verses are going to be the thing that'll stop me from giving this song from "Yasashiku Hibi".
  • Song Title: Koi no Uta
Reason: Mood of song is not expected and tempo of song is too slow. Decent melody though.
Album: U
Artist: UNLIMITS
  • Song Title: Lonely Blue
Reason: Poor bridge, and even after that only chorus is above average.
Album: Ren'ai Shousetsu to, Tsuuka Ressha to, 1g no Tameiki
Artist: Manami
  • Song Title: 25-ji no Cinderella
Reason: Many have tried this style, but have never gotten the melody right. This was a good overall though.
(The one above also is kind of a deal breaker. Maybe it's just me being biased giving the other two)

Single: Take Me Out
Artist: SCANDAL
  • Song Title: I want you
Reason: A little too simple in melody, and a little too high-pitched in vocals. Not to mention it’s technopop.
Album: Good New Times
Artist: Gotch
  • Song Title: Good New Times
Reason: Despite being topic song for album doesn't sound good in melody overall. Also, music style too.
  • Song Title: The Sun Is Not Down
Reason: General music style compelling. Melody of chorus is good though. English song I wished I didn't understand.
Single: cubic futurisimo
Artist: Uesaka Sumire
  • Song Title: cubic futurisimo
Reason: As expected, technopop is not a thing in Klassic Note. Also, bridge part is too long and inappropriate to song.
Single: DIP-BAP
Artist: THE ORAL CIGARETTES
  • Song Title: DIP-BAP
Reason: Chorus feels very different in mood to the verses and so on. Otherwise separately they are good.
Album: SHISHAMO 3
Artist: SHISHAMO
  • Song Title: Egao no Tonari
Reason: Mainly rejected due to melody, lack of emphasis of chorus and in rest of the song.
Album: Adan Ballet
Artist: Cocco
  • Song Title: Unohana Kusashi
Reason: Sounds similar to same album song "Yuushuu no Bi" in terms of melody
Album: Boku ga CD wo Dashitara
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Naimono Nedari
Reason: Song structure weak. Feels like listening to a segmented song. Catchy beat does not offset overall melody.
Album: daydream
Artist: Aimer
  • Song Title: Hertz
Reason: I rejected a smiliar tune and lyrics in another single earlier in the year, so this one will also have to pass.
Album: Life
Artist: plenty
  • Song Title: Kokoro no Mama ni
Reason: Melody is passable, but just barely. Not good enough to be give four stars.
Single: Wake up
Artist: KANA-BOON
  • Song Title: Weekend
Reason: Half the song is the other half of rap style that I didn't favour of the group. Verses are weak too.
Single: Juunigatsu no Himawari
Artist:  Aqua Timez
  • Song Title: Gift
Reason: The rap I missed, but not the rap melody I liked. Background beats are not as strong either.
Single: Yui
Artist: miwa
  • Song Title: On My Way
Reason: This song… it's not clicking in me. I feel the beats, but the melody isn't impressive enough.
Single: Reason Living
Artist: SCREEN mode
  • Song Title: Distance
Reason: Close to something good, but overall song is weak to give.
(So close, and SCREEN mode would have been on my shelf. Phew)

Single: Kaze ga Fuku Machi
Artist: LuckLife
  • Song Title: journey
Reason: Statistics show I will get bored of this song, and I have given quite a lot this year. So… no.
Single: Sakebe
Artist: Numakura Manami
  • Song Title: Koto no Ha
Reason: The bridge part is too hard to give, almost as hard as cinema staff's "YOUR SONG", or worse.
  • Song Title: HEY!
Reason: Very lively, catchy chorus, but then again this song doesn't suit her voice. So overall rejection here.
(Ah, this one. Maybe it's because of Mikakoshi I'm scared of giving Nu-chan her debut single)

Album: EXIST!
Artist: [Alexandros]
  • Song Title: Aoyama
Reason: Weak verses throughout song, bridge also weak.
Album: MAMI KAWADA BEST F
Artist: Kawada Mami
  • Song Title: Contrail
Reason: Too long of a bridge and occasional unsuitable pop sounds, but otherwise has good chorus.
Single: Million Litmus
Artist: Kotobuki Minako
  • Song Title: Million Litmus
Reason: Verse is poor, spoils overall good song including bridge part which is decent.

Single: TV Anime Kono Bijutsubu no wa Mondai ga Aru! Character Song CD Vol.1
Artist: Usami Mizuki, Colette, Tachibana Yumeko
  • Song Title: Aozora Canvas
Reason: Less than catchy chorus, weak overall mood even though have decent bridge
Album: Tokowaka no Kuni
Artist: Yuuki Aoi
  • Song Title: Rezetowaru
Reason: Like the rest of the mini-album, lack of instrumentals plus her less than perfect slurs make for less than wonderful songs.
Album: SHARE THE HAPPY
Artist: Miyawaki Shion
  • Song Title: #Doko Made mo Share ~girlyparty~
Reason: Weak verses and chorus, overall less than desired song
  • Song Title: Puchi Pura
Reason: Good chorus, rest of the song sounds like typical pop tune, so not giving due to unprecedented bias
(Yeah, the second one got stuck in my head for way too long, so much so I had thoughts of extending the song count even after I started calculating results and giving awards)

Album: OH! MY MISTAKES!
Artist: Tsuji Shion
  • Song Title: Horoyoi
Reason: Too simple a melody compared to rest of song, rejecting due to song count/extended tones in every verse (refer Primary album songs)
  • Song Title: Obake wa Kowakunai
Reason: Sub-par chorus, songs has many parts of speech than singing

And then I realised this took a lot more time for me to do up and it looked more confusing than last year. Also, if you prefer to use the search function on your browser start with artists first it'll give you a better chance. Then again, why would you? All these are trash. Go listen to the new songs this year. Or the best from last year. Now let me go sleep, please. This post is tedious to do, seriously.

P.S. Once again, sorry to all the artists and their songs mentioned here, especially if you wrote them. Unfortunately this is the only dark side to Klassic Note, and it's a necessary evil.

The Klassic Note Artist Evaluation 2016

It's getting later every year, huh. I know. I've been looking at my own posts last year for reference haha. Anyways, let's talk about it. Really, this is probably the most critical part of Klassic Note you'll ever see in wording. Besides that list of 2.99 star songs. Oh, I haven't post that long list out yet, huh. Then again, you should have seen it on Twitter. It's a long one.

As usual, I'll be talking about three main types of categories of artists, which are namely:

  • Collection Artists: For those who have a footing on Klassic Note, have contributed significantly to the song count till today, and already have their own playlist worth of songs. Examples this year include Aqua Timez, Ikimonogakari and Tomatsu Haruka etc.
  • New & Uprising Artists: For those who have outstanding performance this year, have only been initiated in recent years, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include Yoru no Honki Dance, Kuso Iinkai and nano.RIPE etc.
  • Newcomers: For those who have appeared this year, have done real well this year (in any amount) to be worthy of mention, and have potential to do more. Examples this year include LILI LIMIT, LuckLife and Miyawaki Shion etc.
I'll also take mention on an extra couple of artists who do not fit into all three because they have announced their hiatus as music artists, namely Kawada Mami and HOME MADE Kazoku. They get a special last segment as my final opinions of these two artists in 2016.

(Don't worry if you do not know any of them. This is precisely the place to tell you what I think of all of them. Yes, ALL. This is going to take a while.)

(I'll use the year number for all references in "last year" and "this year" or whatever. It's confusing in the past so this much mentions of years will have to do.)

==THIS IS A LONG POST. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED==

COLLECTION ARTISTS
Quite a lot of artists joined the ranks in 2016, a total of four new artists have fulfilled requirements to be regulars in Klassic Note and have their own playlist.

Aqua Timez: They've not done much in 2016, but what they have done is pretty significant. Their only single in 2016 is a total nostalgic trip if you're a fan of theirs (I am totally BTW) and their album is so close to Christmas almost every song sounds like an overseas trip lol. All in all, I'm pleased, but 2016 isn't the best year they had. So I'll not hold my breath for 2017.

Ikimonogakari: Their anniversary is up, and so is their new album. And you bet it's on my shelf. Giving them the thumbs up was quite a task as I try to find songs to give. I've not really gotten tired of their music style yet, because they have a lot more to offer and I search for melodies whilst liking their style back then already. On other things that will actually make me angry is their obvious (marketing) strategy of releasing an anniversary single which has a song from the best album. Oh well, that's not cheating anyway, so I don't really mind. On the other hand, it's a good year to catch up with songs that have been popular but aren't on my list yet, so I would say they've done their job in 2016.

Chatmonchy: Rather disappointing to have only one single, but it isn't without reason. They have been preparing to pair up again to do digitalised music instead, change of style I understand, and the one song I didn't give, but I don't think I'll be looking forward to them in 2017. Then again, as mentioned in the previous paragraph I don't stop because they start taking the electronic synthesizer. So, we shall see.

Rie fu: She continues her anniversary albums in 2016 with her second album for it "O", and it isn't really that bad at all. Her overseas adventures are rather fruitful as it kind of changes her music style a little bit, but then again this is also it too. She shows no signs of releasing new music as of thus far in 2017, but then again like Chatmonchy this is really spectator mode for me already.

sphere: Two singles in 2016, and that is not much, I guess. Their collaboration with HoneyWorks is rather good (as with TrySail too, will mention them later), and the newest may just be their best. Their new album will be released early February 2017, so I'll be looking forward to that.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION: I'll not rant much, but re-releasing your second album is not contribution. And not talking about the fact that I only listened to that one single because of an Anime, so that's even worse. I think I'm drifting away from these guys, and it's not really good news. I await better releases in 2017. Klassic Note 2016 has not been kind to this band.

VELTPUNCH: And yes, their re-debut album. I enjoyed it a lot, so that gets a lot of points in some way or another. Otherwise, I'll be glad if they are really coming back to release songs every year (hopefully) so I can put them higher on the ranks every year just like back in the day. I miss those kinds of tunes.

SID: Can we not talk about them please? I'll wait until their new single in 2017 to talk about them then, yes? Yeah, there's the best album, but...

SCANDAL: Their 10th anniversary has been quite a blast, apparently. Their new album isn't too much of a disappointment besides the fact that I didn't give enough I guess, and their new single is a surprising turn in terms of style and melody. And I'm impressed. I want to hear more of their music. With the direction they are going we may see yet better stuff from these girls in 2017. Who knows? It's just the beginning since they started taking over the studio back in 2014.

miwa: Two singles in 2016, but they are worth mentioning. Collaborations for her are a big hit this year, involving herself in writing love songs and emotional songs so easily off herself. That, and her being really active in other entertainment fields... She may be busy, but we're getting an album soon in 2017, so that'll be a good time to enjoy more of her songs once again.

Toyosaki Aki: Aki-chan has done well in 2016. Her third album is a charm, and her new single is the only pre-order single for the year. I'm still impressed on how much I can catch up with her songs (Hint: it's her super lovable voice), and all I can do is only to ask for more. More fanservice or more music with her voice in it that makes it sound good, I'll leave it for you to think about it.

Tomatsu Haruka: It's also an anniversary year for her, so I guess it's worth celebrating? Her fan-voted best albums turn out to be better than I expected, and two singles cement her as a contributor as significant as Ikimonogakari. My overall impression of her has been positive in 2016, and I like how it is heading too. New releases may not be near, but I like to hear more of her singing good songs in 2017.

Kotobuki Minako: Okay, this one I have a bone to pick. And I mostly blame production. The second album from before may be a hint, but this year her only two singles are disappointing. I've skipped the latest one, and the other didn't even make it on the shelf. Her songs have been growing in distance since that album, and I think it might get worse. Maybe I need to be more generous? But how? It's not good enough! Ah... Mina-chan...

ClariS: They released a lot of singles in 2016 (even a collaboration), but all I did is to give old songs from that cover song mini-album. I know. I'm really old in music taste for my age. On the other hand, their new album is upcoming in 2017, so that'll give a good time for me to catch up if I still want to give this combination of girls another chance.

Porno Graffitti: Yeah, didn't expect their name to come back after what happened for the past two years. But in 2016, they have been impressive. Two singles down and they are all pretty good. Maybe I hate their references to females and whatnot, but then again an Anime tie-in actually turned out to making them better. We see no longer their previous style of music, but this upcoming one I think I'm ready to catch on.

Tsuji Shion: This one, it has been a long journey for her. Six years after her first album which I still remember a lot, she finally decided to release another album. I wouldn't say it's on my shelf now, but more than that she is changing. I mean, I'm okay with that, and it really should be anticipated for anyone who listens to her song, but it isn't too bad at all. It may be a tad bit too long to wait for it, but still.

Taketatsu Ayana: Ayachi's contributions for 2016 has been positive. Her two singles are rather okay (I mean, close to missing 2.99, that one), and her new album took a 2-D style approach, still turned out to be pretty good. As far as giving her new song goes, I've not been kind. But then again, I'm okay with her performance in 2016, really.

fumika: This one is as dormant in Klassic Note as Porno Graffitti already, so you know what happened between the years. On other things, I've not been listening to her new songs, so maybe I should go back and listen to them someday.

Hanazawa Kana: Kana-chan has done pretty good in 2016, I must say. Her only two singles got more recognition than I ever have given her in the past few years. Her production stemming from Hata Motohiro and Makoto Shinkai definitely did help her in making it good. A new album is in place in 2017, and it may be time to give her more songs considering that there are so many of them just like the one in 2014.

NEW & UPRISING ARTISTS
Kuso Iinkai: The guys did quite good in 2016, with the album and a couple more singles after that. It's just that... again, I've not been generous. I rejected their single last month, and then contributions are just about the same as past years. At this rate they'll be Collection Artists in about... 8 more years? I don't know. Then again their melodies are unconventional, so I houldn't complain.

THE ORAL CIGARETTES: This one, I'm not so sure. Their album was okay, and then the two singles they released in 2016 are rather dubious. As I mentioned, I don't like to be dragged in to their melodies because they are repetitive, somewhat a little bit like how popular music was made. They aren't the best in the list anyway again, so I'll just observe and see. Their new album is coming in 2017 and initial impressions are good, so I think I'll enjoy album releases like cinema staff then. Saying about them...

cinema staff: Okay, I guess. The album was once again a good reason to listen to their songs because the rest of the time they are busy doing credits for other things. A good example would be their newest E.P. where I took the only song which didn't have a credit. It may be short at barely 2 minutes, but still. Other than that, I enjoyed them in 2015 more than 2016, so that will say quite a lot, I guess.

KANA-BOON: A good performer this year, as their two singles and one album did strike me as being good. At least, for their topic songs in my opinion. Their albums are going to be their downfall in Klassic Note, so I'll not put my hopes too high.

nano.RIPE: Probably the biggest news from this band is the fact that they won't be a band soon. Or shall I say, they'll become a duo soon. Losing two members after their latest album did come as a surprise as I always look forward to their albums every year, and even their singles did leave an impression or two. But this might change in 2017, and I don't know what will happen actually.

Primary: She's just here mainly because with the reviewing of her latest album I've finally caught up with her latest songs, considering there is a constant stream of sources I can get her new songs from. And yeah, I know of the new single. In 2017, perhaps.

TWEEDEES: Their second album in 2016 was pretty good, and it's definitely better than last year as I took in more songs, but not in quality, I guess. Their topic songs is rather addictive though, to say the least.

Cocoro Auction: Their major debut and a new mini-album release is a good hit in 2016, and they're catching up with another in 2017 soon, so I'll be looking forward to that. These guys over BUMP of CHICKEN probably is the reason why I mention them and not the latter.

[Alexandros]: Better known here as [Champagne] about two years ago, their latest album caught my attention with thanks to Gotch from Ajikan, and I'm impressed. Turns out I do like their songs and I might just be looking at them more often in 2017.

amazarashi: Following a good single back in 2015, 2016 has been a good year for this guy, I would say. His album was pretty good as in I liked all the topic songs from the singles, and the mini-album is also good. If I like his beats I may end up listening for more in 2017, who knows?

yucat: She's here because of a new mini-album featuring her debut song which should've been on a disc at some point long ago already. Also, 5th year for her in 2017 too. Best album probably won't help her much, but we shall see.

Goose house: This big group of singer-songwriters did come up with quite a couple of releases this year. Turns out Sayaka can write a song, Takebuchi Kei is the MVP of the group, and Takezawa Migiwa is thinking of leaving. But before that happens I'll get to listen to their latest single next week in 2017. Yay.

TrySail: If you need explanation why they are the best off this year, it's mainly because of good songs. The two singles that started 2016 are good, and the album tops it off. And as if that is not enough they entice me with a single from HoneyWorks, so they're year is done already. This is it. Their next... probably a couple more years away.

Iwasaki Ai: Her full album in 2016 was impressive, because I gave a lot of songs and kept going back for more than half a year after the first review.

UNLIMITS: Probably the same reason as Iwasaki Ai, their album is impressive which almost made me take half of their album without traces of any old releases stuffed inside them.

SpecialThanks: Only one mini-album, but still pretty good too. I want more though, because I see the potential in them.

ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE: After quite a lot of years their full album in 2016 surely threw me off by surprise. Coupled with that digital single this sure is a good year for them.

Aimer: She struck me hard when she got backed up by famous producers writing her songs and her taking in two Anime theme songs... damn this is a good year for her. Also, if you haven't heard that love song she sang in her album you've been living in a well for too long haha

7!!: Two singles only this year, but I did give a listen to them all. Turns out they really can write and sing ballad songs, I would say.

Komatsu Mikako: Most impressive might not be her being featured in Q-MHz's album, but the set of four Anime composers writing for her a single in 2016 and potentially, an album in 2017! Damn, I can't wait. (To sh*t on the composers again haha)

Satou Satomi: Only one single, but she has been quiet these few years, and I don't blame her. Her voice is there for better things though. Just hope to hear from her soon. New releases, I mean.

Amamiya Sora: Her only release in 2016 was her first album, and it was fine, I guess. Nothing close to putting it on the shelf, but still. It's tough finding a genre for her, but generic pop she can be in, that's for sure.

NEWCOMERS

LILI LIMIT: Turns out the biggest underdog of Klassic Note 2016 is not a rock band, but hey, I'm okay with that. Looking back to their older releases because they have moved forward to a major label (which also houses Ajikan, amongst other artists), I found better songs in 2016 moving backward than forward. I'll be sure to give a listen to their recent album in 2017 once I'm done with this song awards.

LuckLife: Also another impressive group who got major label support, and three singles cemented their place in Klassic Note just off the bat. Anime "Bungou Stray Dogs" helped them out a lot to be honest, but still, they have a good style of rock that I'll be sure to stay behind and listen to them in 2017.

Miyawaki Shion: She may be a pop star, she may have already sung for 10 years without me knowing, and without Anime "Assassination Classroom" she may never come to Klassic Note. Still, this many releases is really impressive, and I've determined the best composer for her goes by the name of ArmySlick, who wrote the theme songs and all other songs I gave in 2016. Really, no exceptions. And it's all coincidence too.

AOP: They may sound new, they may look like another girls group like AKB48 probably, but whoever wrote songs for them is real good at doing it, making their two singles in 2016 stand out amongst the crowd. I thank the Anime that has helped them (well they helped the Anime, if you knew the origin of their group name) and helped them make a mark in Klassic Note.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE: They fall in the same category probably like THE ORAL CIGARETTES that if you like their style you'll be staying to hear more, but I didn't. No really, I only listened to the album under the recommendation of Satou Satomi-chan, and their other releases simply whizzed past me because I've heard one and liked the melody more than the music style.

plenty: I rather enjoyed the music style in this rock band, and seeing how many live performances of theirs are just bulk on YouTube, you can go enjoy them for yourself. I selectively choose, but that doesn't mean I disapprove of their style. Their latest album in 2016 isn't the best or better than their previous one, but I want to hear more. These guys can create moods that associate me, and I like.

SWANKY DANK: This turned out to be a surprising addition, and I kind of like punk rock, so I gave them a chance. More surprisingly is not because of their music totally available on YouTube but even with Apple Music which I started last month I still didn't get to hear a digital release of their latest mini-album. Damn. Other than that, I can take a little more punk rock.

Silent Siren: Might as well mention them too lol. They had a good start for impressing me with their live performances, but after that when the album came out and I noticed I'm taking an addiction pill, and that is pretty much where I stopped. Easy listening songs, but seeing that it's too easy listening and it feels rather repetitive in style after a while, I decided to not listen to their new releases in 2016 at all. I know. I'm a jerk haha

Asakura Momo: Her addition to Klassic Note may come as a bliss, but her debut single isn't impressive, as one may expect. But hey, with her debut as a singer comes a lot more releases, and I shall be looking forward to that in 2017/

DISBANDED ARTISTS
Kawada Mami: It's suck a pity that she's going backstage to write song lyrics for others, but then again she's an angel when it comes to those types of pop Anime songs, and I will miss them. Her best album and last single are good points of 2016, but I've only managed to give one song so far. See if I can give another one or two, and didn't know her songs before her first single were actually better than I thought.

HOME MADE Kazoku: Another thing that has to go, this rap group is stopping activities with a best album in 2016, leaving me with a lot of regret and a lot more songs close enough for me to give them the thumbs up to be a Collection Artist, and I thank them for the many rap tunes. Come on, with them being the only rappers on Klassic Note, it's no wonder I can't bear to see them go.

Okay, I'm tired after a whole day of video editing. Yes, I'm doing something before I have to work 8 to 5 next week. Cya guys then, because this is as much as I have opinions for the artists I know of in 2016. All others not listed just aren't close enough to be mentioned, I guess. Until next time... yeah I'll do up the 2.99 stars thing tomorrow. APoL? Just... don't... ask. I don't think I have the time to even finish it by the end of the week.

The Entertainment News 2017 Edition Issue #1

***Happy New Year (insert fireworks animation here), everyone! Welcome to 2017!***

(Man this must look worse on mobile haha)
I'm not particularly excited considering I spent last night doing up the Top 20 songs for Klassic Note 2016, and spent the whole of today at a relative's house, you would say I'm rather exhausted already. Promises are still in check though, and with one more week left of my life (lol) because I'll finally be a working adult soon, I hope to finish some things before that starts.

Also, no resolutions this year. Just like lat year. Because I can't hold on to them. No sarcasm from social media as comments please. I've seen enough of them already.

Also also, no format changes even though it's a new year. I have no mood for this kind of thing lol. I mean, if it were change I'll do it whenever I like, okay? Now let's get started. This is too long of an intro to start an issue of this already.

アニメ Sangatsu no Lion
Just to not get your hopes too high, and yes I did not miss an episode yet, here's that summary that they've been talking about on Twitter.
This special episode which, in honesty I didn't watch everything because I know it's this type of thing, is just a good summary of what is going on with Rei's surprisingly hard yet fulfilling life. Hey, I'll take a switch of lives with him. If... I'm good at shougi and I'm not a wuss. (Audience: Woah...) Yeah, anyways, this is just a teaser of what is to come, and personally for me, I'm really forward-looking when it comes to this show (didn't intend to live life twice lol) so I want to see how far the production has taken this show. Hopefully not more chess matches, please.
P.S. No images because technically I didn't watch the show. And just watching 20 seconds of that next episode preview doesn't count.

漫画 One Week Friends
Yes, there apparently is a concluding chapter. It (39) talks about their graduation and how things will go after they go their separate ways. Yes, everyone. From Saki-chan, to the classmates, to the main two guys and Fujimiya-san, of course. It's been a heck of a ride, but I wished this was in the Anime.
P.S. No images for this because the quality is low haha

漫画 Tonari no Kashiwagi-san
Damn I wish for the guys to finish this already. The last volume of the series is here, and starting with a chapter (78) very befitting of the season. End of the year. Someone made a Christmas confession to a girl. That girl said yes. That doesn't mean they're going out yet, but they have been going to somewhere. Seeing their foreigner friend out is one thing, but then...? Honestly saying, if Yuuto doesn't do it himself, Kotone will never do anything. And that's important to note. Then again he's doubtful of his actions, so this could take a while. We're not dealing with a tsundere like his friend is haha
Yeah technically speaking they are not.
Damn all the facial expressions in this story haha

テレビ White Rabbit Project
You guys may not know, but this is also not the return of MythBusters. The build team who left initially are back, it's not all experiments, there's a lot of history telling and fact-checking, it's a Netflix original (WTF if Netflix lol) and so on. In summary, it's them again, making science interesting and fun to just listen to. And watch, because they did do some big feats. Their released first season consist of mind control, a hot air balloon made form propane tanks , a makeshift hoverboard, and more. Hope that's enough to entice you because I don't want to spoil everything. I liked it though, and I think it has potential to carry on. Can't wait for the next season.

And yes, I finished watching the whole thing. 10 episodes worth. Which is about 10 hours. Totally worth your time, I would say.

音楽 This Week on Klassic Note
And yes, no Klassic Note this week. Mostly due to the results being out! You can find the last year's one (hehe) over here. Also, I'll be doing up the Evaluation (if you've been waiting for that) tomorrow because... you know.

So I end here. A little too short because new Anime haven't appeared, and it's the first day which means I'm still stuck with last year songs, but I'll be catching up. As promised above, I'll do up another post, and hopefully more when I can schedule myself to type out a whole lot of text which only I'll be interested to see in preparation for me listening to Japanese songs for 10 years. Hey, it's commemorative in my opinion. Also, a life landmark, if you would say. So yeah. Also, I hope to finish APoL Chapter 16 to set that pace so I can continue with the arc if possible. Damn, I'm real lazy. Then again, I'm also stuck, so... hope the new year can give me some inspiration, yes? Cya guys next week then, I need to sleep more haha

Friday 30 December 2016

Is it really a problem to know too much people in your life?

To me, maybe. But have you ever wondered if everyone who knows you will remember you and be in contact with you? I'm no socialite, so this definitely is a no-no for me. Because what is important is those treasured, from friends to family to workmates and so on. And having too many of them without knowing whether you have or will tie up the knots or leave them dangling... I worry more than others, in my case.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #52

And... this is not the last one this year. Well it kind of is, and I'll be doing the next issue in the new year. Nothing much will change though, the usual stuff. Just... one Anime for now because I haven't decided on shows next season. I thought Kuzu no Honkai was pretty good...

Also, sorry for the late post. It's Christmas and I have a good reason to not rot at home haha

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: And... we're at the end of yet another fantastic season. Hey, this show is good, no matter how many times I say it.
In this last episode (24) we see the conclusion. Apparently it's just Francis who cannot hold on to his money for some reason (seriously reminds me about Anime "C" that I want to watch that again) and collapsed without a trace. And guess what, I was even more wrong as I continued watching. I thought Kyouka was to be the one who defeats Francis, and I really didn't know there was such an elaborate plot into planning for the Agency that even the President's ability came into play. And damn his ability is the best haha. On other things, and if the Anime isn't wrong, the manga is probably doing the arc with that demon Dazai mentioned, which I'll probably be reading since no one is teasing a new season of Anime for me. I'll read it though. But the epicness I may not be able to handle haha. All in all, a real good show that just got better with the wait of the second cour (as they are called in Japan), and I can't wait to see more of the action. Seriously, the only thing I've been missing. Not Atsushi's apologies or the smug faces of the Guild or whatever.
The face when your parents talk about your sibling who has two kids and you're still single lol
Damn I like the comical expressions in this Anime.
P.S. Read the fan-made Wiki at your own risk. I do not bear responsibility for any spoilers read. I saw something about Ranpo getting abducted though... okay, just don't. *laughs*

Sangatsu no Lion: I mean, they are a week off, but hey, they not airing next week, right? This, I'm not sure. I'll check the official Twitter haha
This week's episode (11) coincidentally talks about holidays. Add in a Kiriyama who is down with a flu, negligence and lack of family support and you'll get the Kawamoto sisters knocking at your doorstep. Ignoring the fact that I'd like such people to take care of me, there is also the alarming reality for him at least, the fact that others do care. Even his stepfather, who called until his phone went out of battery. There's many feels in this show, so I'll cut short on commentaries or else I'll be crying along with Akari and Rei on New Year's Eve. Second half talks about how the Kawamoto family celebrated the New Year, with a visit from the aunt until the late night, eating traditional New Year bento. Yes, you bet I'll talk about the bathroom and how specially located it is haha
Can someone do an evaluation on how much I need to obtain this scene?
This includes the two girls and the fact that someone saved my loner life haha
P.S. Me as Kiriyama: "I see Akari-san. It's a win-win situation after all! I'm glad I'm not paying for the doctor fee- Oh I am. Sorry." lol
P.P.S. Me as Kiriyama when I hear someone at the doorbell: "Only if it's anyone else besides that b**ch Kyouka will I open the door. *hears sound* Oh it's Momo-chan." haha

WWW.WORKING!!: And... we've reached the end of another season. Looks like they're not doing another one of these, huh. I'm going to miss the general series.
The last episode of this series (13) talks about concluding a lot of things, mainly between Higashida and Miyakoshi. The Saint Valentine conclusion her is rather expected not including the foretelling dream intrusions and stuff, but it seems Miyakoshi finally understood. And in return, Higashida also finally understood how to love. In many ways than other (I'm referring to his family here), that's good news to both. Second half officially concludes the series, with a changed Yuuta-kun, a flowerbed Shiho, a longer haired Miyakoshi, a shorter haired Nagata, a money-minded Hime-chan, and more. All in all, covering up all the romance ends that exist in this show. It may be a little regurgitation after a while, but all's well ends well. Again, damn I'm going to miss the laughs.
I'll use the same image I used at the start of the season to end this.
Damn it must be hard eating just cup noodles lol

漫画
MANGA
Dagashi Kashi: Yeah you bet I remembered who got first in the annual run. Okay, I meant the Anime. The chapter (48) talks about Glico, and not that I've actually eaten it myself because energy drinks probably are better lol, but yeah it follows the Anime pretty faithfully, as far as I can remember. And guess who got the last laugh. Definitely not Sayashi haha
The artwork in this is just great.
Kotoyama-sensei, I'm impressed.

Kuroshitsuji: Well, another mystery solved. So yeah, the chapter (123). Even though the motive is still unknown, we now do know people behind the music hall are trying to gather high volumes of blood. And that, they use an audience. Easy. Then again it is still not enough. Ignoring the real motive which will likely be revealed as we see Bravat talk to his... butler? Anyways, if it's not enough, you get more. A whole lot more. A human's body more. Hey, I'm just saying. Anyways, the mass burial in the forest thing is quite an obvious consequence of such an event anyways, and Ciel decided to tip it off to the press. Smart move which will no doubt make Bravat take some action against the Earl, and that's where things will get interesting. Apparently it may not be all flair, and it's definitely not pretty, but someone is drinking blood. I mean, you don't even need that much to do surgery if you're professional. Then again it's a century ago so... we don't think too much. Otherwise, it's scary. This thing. Would be looking forward to see what's the real motive behind taking so much blood. Maybe... Bravat is raising a vampire?? Lol (Which then isn't unlikely considering Yana-chan-sensei uses references from the past with mystical origins)
Say cheese, bitches.
Things are going to end flashy haha

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
This week I review the last two releases of the year, and it's not because they are the last but I'm kind of exceeding so this is my yearly way of limiting the songs I'm giving, despite my huge urge to, but that'll be next year, yes? Tsuji Shion's new album was okay, a lot more production is done to the songs compared to her first SIX YEARS AGO (damn that's long), and I'll probably give a couple more before the year ends, but I shall see. Probably not haha. Miyawaki Shion's new album, on the other hand, isn't as impressive, as it's loaded with a lot of generic pop songs which is about the same as if I listened to those popular pop artists in Japan including Ms.OOJA, Otsuka Ai, Nishino Kana and so on BUT I DON'T. You'll get what I mean. All in all, I ended up giving an "old" song instead. Huh. Don't ask me why. Also, composer ArmySlick's songs are great. Probably what got me to listen to those Anime theme songs in the first place.

No next week too. You'll be hearing results soon, yes? On other things, THE ORAL CIGARETTES is ready for a new album, many are in for a new single including Ayahi-chan and Goose house, and many more are ready for albums. Apple Music better not disappoint- Oh they are already doing it. *sigh*

Cya guys then. I haven't had a shower yet ever since I came back home and sat here lol. APoL is somewhere stuck because I noticed I don't know how to carry on with the story in detail yet, so please be patient. Also, I want to finish Chapter 16 soon so I can plan the story ahead. So yeah, it's close. But not as close as you think haha. Until next time... Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. No, I'll not be posting new year resolutions like last year. Or if it's the year before that.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #51

Humming the first season opening theme song to the Anime below because it is close to the end of the year and I need to think for song awards in Klassic Note. Unfortunately, GRANRODEO-san, you are qualified for nothing. *laughs*

Let's move on then.

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Okay I just thought of something funny about Dazai, but let me forget it, yes? *laughs*
This episode (23) talks about the confrontation, and mostly on Akutagawa and Atsushi, apparently. Sad the Francis guy becomes third-party as far as this battle is concerned, but hey, money can make you get attention, yes? *laughs hard* (Totally reminds me of another Anime that uses money as collateral for power *wink*) Anyways, it's become a stalemate now, really, and the ending is quite unknown. I don't care about Francis' past, just like how I don't care of Atsushi's too, but then again will that be enough to land a good hit on the Guild guy and stop Moby Dick's descent? The last episode will tell us, probably. For now, this epic fight will do. I'll take the conclusion next week haha
Now THIS is what I call awesome.
P.S. I like how you can actually fight someone with ability now and be able to weigh how much its worth. At least we know Akugatawa's cape armour is worth more than 500k USD lol
P.P.S. Is is just me or does Atsushi's voice actor change when he talks with Akutagawa? Haha

Sangatsu no Lion: Yeah, it's Kiriyama being too nice that is his pitfall. Also, his past. Not as crazy as being alive half a century, but still.
This week's episode (10) talks about yet another failed shougi player in his path, and as sarcastically mentioned by Kyouka once again, is also on the brink of his life. And yes, the ranting of himself at the end of the episode is everything about life, people. Take in all of it. You and I will need it.

*silence*

Maybe I shouldn't go on explaining what he just said, but if you have any problems, feel free to consult me haha. Otherwise, Rei is never wrong having to live with the only lifeline has been given compared to when he still has his whole family around (RIP), and perhaps if I were also stripped off all my luxuries will I remember to live strong and not worry about hurting anyone.

Can we not though?
On a lighter note, Rei should've gone to mingle with his classmates-
Ah, probably not. *laughs*
Ah, also not with this lonely teacher. *laughs hard*
P.S. Me at the intro "What the f**k's your problem, bi*ch? You asking for trouble again??"
Me after having to stand there to listen to her "Oh shut the f**k up, you piece of sh*t. I'm leaving."
This kind of Kiriyama Rei will grow strong lol. Also, the production is impressive in expressing this part too. And the whole episode in general.
P.P.S. We should never know everything. Never. I mean it.

WWW.WORKING!!: Yep, too many kisses this episode already. Not one, but TWO? Damn...
This week's episode (12) as the number suggests, brings us close to the end of the series. And thus, two sets of relationships have been rather cemented. Turns out the truth had to be told before Adachi loses her current girlfriend, and Shindou's father is a good fisherman. Hey, at least there is a way for him to earn back his debt now lol. Anyways, our last couple is left dangling I suppose, and... Saint Valentine may be the hero of this season?? We shall see.
Those are death flags BTW. All three of them lol
P.S. Either I like the flowers on Shiho's head, or I agree with Shindou that non-sadistic Shiho is really cute. That, and the voice actor that is behind it. I can imagine Ten-chan doing it in the recording studio already *laughs*
P.P.S. I didn't notice how irritating Miyakoshi's fingers are throughout this episode. Turns out she is a retard after all haha

漫画
MANGA
Yeah, I'll find a list of movies I want to watch first before fulfilling my promise. I'm not a movie fan after all. Hey, and I wished I can read Japanese enough to read a manga without translations. Moving on~

This Week on Klassic Note
We're at the third last week of the year and for Klassic Note, so it's good time to wrap up many things too. I finally got a chance after eight months release to listen to Cocoro Auction's major debut mini-album, and it isn't bad. I love how I can find a style of music that I liked before, and I'm liking how they're releasing a new mini-album next year too. This time, I'll not miss it. Aqua Timez's new album was a long wait, but then again I haven't given the topic song, huh. I just don't think it's great. On the other hand, I did give a song about a sleigh, a city in Italy, and that last song reminded me well about Futoshi's (vocals and composer) style of music that I, or even for everybody, liked. It's been 11 years already, huh. Also, I've given myself a chance to listen to Yuuki Aoi's new mini-album and TrySail's new single. The latter I decided to give on account of the music video I guess? The other one I don't even want to talk haha

Next week brings us our final two expected releases, and they are all albums. Damn I want to do a versus post over here or something, because Tsuji Shion's new album and Miyawaki Shion's new full album will make a stunning opening. You know, "the battle of the Shions". *laughs* Also, BUMP of CHICKEN finally decided to release their new song for Anime "Sangatsu no Lion" as a digital single, so I'll hope to get a listen to that online too. Anyways, that should be it after that, but then again if I crave more I can still do it. But then again I'll control myself at this time of the year so to avoid song count overflow. It's well over the highest amount of songs I listen to since 2014 already. This is really going anywhere but up, huh.

This is it then. For achievements besides gaming, I've also managed to move on to continue APoL Chapter 16 and noticed I have many things I lack of in order to finish the story, and that includes inspiration, mostly. That being said, I wish to finish this and the next chapter by next year, and it seems I have a long way to go. I also spent a good time to automate calculations in my Excel document for Song Awards so I can avoid doing the computations myself. Damn, this IS the best way to learn how to use the software. Cya guys then, and until next time... the typing on the keyboard with overgrown nails is really disturbing. I really need to cut them later.

Sunday 11 December 2016

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #50

Come on, man. You never heard the rule of threes? Damn, you need to take my English class. So yeah, instead of manga I watched a movie today. Maybe I should do that. That if I have no manga to read I'll compensate it with (at least) one movie that I've always wanted to watch but never got to.

(silence)

I'll think about it. *laughs*

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Damn why is this idiot in the way now??
Okay, this week's episode (22) according to its official Twitter haha. We got a little story about detective stuff, because Ranpo-san got bored and Kafuka-sensei decided to give him more part to this show lol. Anyways, he faced off slightly against his long lost opponent Poe from the Guild, and with a deliberate mystery sent him and Yosano-sensei into a never-ending story. (Pun not intended lol) Nonetheless, he figured it out despite being real lazy about it and without the glasses, because he had forgotten how the Agency even got its name. In exchange, they got hold of the secrets of Moby Dick, which is also likely a trap considering if they want to infiltrate the ship itself when most of the members are gone. Yeah, you get it by now, huh. They're just not going to let everything go. Besides the biggest ship hovering above the town, of course. And of all times, Akutagawa decides to escape from captive (did we remember him being caught at some point?) and stop Atsushi's actions to stop the Guild's actions. Well, Akutagawa didn't agree to the partnership, I must say. Mori Ougai you a**hole, you left one last straw there you idiot.
This is what (yet another artist impression of) 2050 will look like, folks.
Have a good look at this, will ya?

Sangatsu no Lion: The level of jokes is there, man. I must say. This show is good. *laughs*
Okay, we carry on from the lesson of a b*tch that is Kyouka and this episode (9) we see finally a final session of Rei with a veteran of shougi. Problem is Rei, in which Kyouka mentions is a kind-hearted person, would not see his opponent retire after being the one who brought upon his downfall. Fortunately, it isn't as dark as you think, although I know that it burnt quite a big hole on the young boy's pocket. Screw you, Kyouka, everyone has better things to live by. Like not doing housework lol
Me when I'm asked about this year lol.
I know, the old man is irritating. Can't wait to deal with more of him myself.
P.S. Fairly impressed by the level of comedy here despite the topic being rather dull and sad in most of the episode itself. This Anime is good.

WWW.WORKING!!: Damn I'm laughing hard at this episode. Can't be helped, right? Then WHY I HAVEN'T GOT A HEAR OF THE THEME SONGS YET??? Argh this is infuriating...
This episode (11) talks a lot about romance, as Miyakoshi tries to search for the truth. Well, Saint Valentine did tell her the truth, and she was quite thrown off by it. And I like the misunderstandings, her usual logic, and Higashida's reactions to all of it. I mean, he's earning it, man. *laughs* Otherwise, you'd be pleased to hear Miyakoshi cannot handle her bankbook, Adachi got sh**ted on again and again, and Miyakoshi's mother is shocked. Real shocked. And we're not even talking about marriage yet haha
Now I really want to know what Saint Valentine told poor Hana-san.
I hope it doesn't involve sex haha

MOVIE
Lazer Team: Finally it took some time, but I got a chance to sit down and watch this show. If you need a quick opinion, this is nothing short of a AAA title. In detail? You'll have to sit in.

If you need to know I've been watching YouTube videos for a long time, and exactly four years back, I sat on the ship that is Rooster Teeth, that, and their two gaming channels under its name, Achievement Hunter and Funhaus. I know watching people playing games for a living isn't related to this, but this is just the roots. I didn't fund for this show, nor did I watch it live from last year. Besides, this was only a YouTube Red original and only aira on selected areas. As I said, not your usual AAA title that is big enough to make it on every screen. Nonetheless, I'm impressed. Special effects are done right, stunts are executed flawlessly, music and sound effects are totally on spot, camera work is nothing short of the obvious and doesn't make you feel like you're watching - as the Americans say - a college project (ie. professional), the overall plot is well thought out like how an action movie should have, from an unlikely hero to a likely vicitm etc, but hey all's well kind of ends well. And a sequel is still in production as we speak. I'll say it again, I'm impressed. For them, a small company who does YouTube for a living, they have came a long way. And as the "founding fathers" would have envisioned, this one is a good start to what they wanted.

I foresee the sequel to be full-fledged. Then maybe I'll GET MY ASS over to a movie theater to actually watch it. *laughs*
A very appropriate summary of what this movie has to offer haha
P.S. I like how they picture the universe with Earth and aliens. Putting that into my "inspiration for worldview" list

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
There isn't much in Klassic Note this week, namely because there isn't much too in Apple Music. Hey, what a disappointment, right? I felt like updating the original post though, but never mind. Mina-chan's new single was close to not being a disappointment, which means I didn't bother to give any song. I mean, she's not going strong since last year, so... I don't know. Yoru no Honki Dance's new single is pretty good, and I'm giving a couple more songs as I get used to their rock style. And I think I'm fine with it. I hate to say it but if you flip the double A-side single around you get the life without a partner, and I like. Ah, it's great to be single. *laughs*

On other things, next week I'll be reviewing three albums in total, high for last month of the year, and hopefully they'll appear in Apple Music, please. I have confidence at least half of them will appear, which is between 1 and 2. Haha, happy guessing between Aqua Timez, Tsuji Shion, and Miyawaki Shion.

Not doing much to finding new songs too, but giving back those songs that deserve it from the best albums and such. I've finalised reviews for Kawada Mami's best album (nope, no new new songs, if you get what I mean), HOME MADE Kazoku's best album too, and ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE's new album. That one took a long time, man. But still.

Cya guys then. Have a great week ahead. Mine? Probably better than yours if you're not having holidays, haha. Nonetheless, I've not progressed on APoL, which I feel bad for myself. And I notice the best way to motivate myself may surpass watching this philosophy video and a movie this week. Not good. I'll need drugs soon haha. Until next time...maybe I'll get myself to finish Chapter 16, yes? It's quite a long one, so that's why I'm-  No, it's me. My problem. I'll deal with it. Bye.

Saturday 10 December 2016

Not everything you want to learn from your mistakes. Sometimes you want your mistakes to be the right way.

That's why I'm not cut out for entertainment. People can understand my my own jokes, and I've failed at acting before. Haiz, I wished I had a life, if many have to ruined it for me. I just want to be right, all the time.

If I held a lie against you and told you you'll eventually know it, would you still pester for the truth?

Well, I'm not talking about those lengthy drama where the lie lasts forever or if it's a big deal. A good example is birthday surprises, unless you want the fun spoiled for yourself. Got this from TrySail on their making videos. Very funny, the three of them. The perfect balance of childishness, friendship and maturity haha

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #49

Yeah, I know. That's what happens when you have to catch Anime not with respect to the latest stuff on the Internet but... okay me following Twitter is dumb, okay? Besides, we're a couple more episodes to go anyway. Sorry for spoiling anything, I guess. Let's move on.

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow. Another error on my part, but yes, I watched this week's episode last week. Good thing this show is going to end soon so this confusion will be over soon. Goddamn,
Okay, last week's episode (20) then. (No wonder it didn't make sense last week lol) Let's talk about Kyouka. Looks like she helped Atsushi to some point, and that is good news,  but yeah, like whoever that stepmother said her killer instinct is obvious, so that's a real problem. Unfortunately the Guild is interested in the weretiger and not interested in her, and it's been a week already, so... let's hope Kyouka is somewhere safe. On other things, no wonder Q was locked up underground because she met Lovecraft, and that thing (as we have found out too early) is a monster. And the plan to destroy the city is real man, not until there's Atsushi and that Lucy to give him her escape plan (lol Kana-chan), and eventually leading to Atsushi able to escape and... I guess you can watch it yourself. Dazai came in to stop everything. Too bad it's not solving problems yet, and Atsushi proposed a plan. Looks like it wasn't Dazai's plan after all. To the people who want to protect the city, fighting against a common enemy becomes important after all, I guess.
P.S. You guys want Q screaming, or zombie people? I guess not, huh. This one then.
The cutest bullet ever in Anime. Really, those tank girls cannot compare.
Nice shooting, Mark. Video games are much worse off compared to you.
P.P.S. Also real impressed by the two new ability users we got to see today, the other one being Herman's "Moby Dick" ability. Damn, I'd like myself a flying concealed airship.

Sangatsu no Lion: Hmm... this episode. Hey, I liked it. A lot of other things, Nikaidou, and... Kyouko?
The recent episode (8) talks about a little of learning shougi again, how that cat book is done by Nikaidou himself, his passion, and everyone's reaction to that TV broadcast video. Well, I could say I don't give a sh*t, and probably not Kiriyama too, but hey, it's something. Can I even say that Nikaidou is lonely as a rich guy or does he just want a childhood companion to be with him for shougi? Lol, I mean, this career can be a lonely thing, you know. On other things, Kyouka pays Kiriyama a visit. Besides letting her sleep on that housewarming bed, she also VERY SARCASTICALLY talks about her and his life. Looks like things are not going well after he left his previous home, and so is Kyouka herself. Then again, provoking Kiriyama wouldn't help much, considering he got beaten up before by the very same person. Still, good to know things are changing, and next week is a supposed rank-important match? Can Kiriyama successfully help facilitate the retirement of his opponent? We shall see. *laughs*
Pretty much summarises the best part of this episode.
Damn, Kiriyama. You got a good (rich) friend lol
P.S. Me as Kiriyama if I see Kyouka at my doorstep: "YOU WANNA FIGHT? HUH?? YOU WANNA FIGHT, B*TCH??" No really, things are getting real intimate there for a second. Kiriyama almost got beaten up into a pulp by her rogue boyfriend haha

WWW.WORKING!!: Hey, you'd know you'll get another Shiho-Shindou episode again, so here we are! This episode (10) talks a lot about the debt, well mostly not about it but how both of them have changed due to the debt. Damn, Shindou's father is really at fault here for breaking a supposedly wonderful relationship, Shindou accepting marriage maybe a better choice (good thing Ten-chan isn't a rich lady lol) over paying the debt, but Shindou's got guts. To take the debt, but will change his life forever. He's a strong person, honestly saying, and Shiho is just being bad to him. If she ever wanted things to go back to back then, acting isn't necessary. But yeah, money is an obstacle. I mean, Shindou covered a lot of what I wanted to say, so be sure to check that out yourself haha. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to see things get back to normal even for a while of perfection that relationship could've turned out, but hey, it's no BGR right there, I can tell you. They still got a couple of episodes left to do whatever, but hey I'll take the jokes right and left, if you get what I mean.
(Text: "Rich")
Damn this image is so conflicting in a sense lol
P.S. Can I say I totally dig for the Shiho-chan Ten-chan combination this episode? Damn, she's cute. In 2D and in 3D. Can't win this one in a long run.
P.P.S. I thought of putting another image but I'll leave the SM part to watch it yourself, yes? xD

漫画
MANGA
Kuroshitsuji: This chapter (122) is a good summary as to how good 1910 Phantom Five performance would be, or just a modern day music live performance lol. But honestly, Bravat decided to let his guys take the day off and see the performance for himself. Many things happened are staple of music live performances today, including various stunts, towel as a merchandise, and that light stick (yep it's glow-in-the-dark, but not like the normal person would know back then) (I really wonder Yana-chan-sensei researched on that or not), and various characters, and kisses and handshakes... you're right Bravat, they've got everything. And all at a large profit. Hey, who can say no? I mean, as conversative as that lady in the audience might be back then, she clearly wants one of those guys ***** in her *** MUAHAHAHA
Damn Yana-chan-sensei sure got fandom right this chapter.
See, that lady I mentioned above lol
Anyways, great chapter, and Ciel confronting Bravat for the finish. I wonder what will his survey feedback be. Haha vinegar all over them already.

Dagashi Kashi: Hey, more stories from the sweets girl that has a big rack lol. Okay, the chapters (45-47). Hotaru-chan still sucks at playing games unlike Saya-shi, someone probably got injured in the process once again, and goddamn if we have to hear You-san's life story again haha. Nonetheless, all very entertaining and educational I must say, and I like me some Hotaru once in a while. Really, Kokonotsu-kun is good at selling sweets.
I'd really like to play games with Hotaru-chan.
Just to enjoy the satisfaction of winning haha
Konobi: That Art Club is still at the beach and this chapter (45), and Tachibana-sensei wants the kids to draw something. And she wants to pick themes through drawing of cards, and if she has the last card be a joker she treats everyone drinks. Well, I can only say she's trying hard to make it happen. I mean, making a hole in her pocket lol. Anyways, the art isn't really shown for some reason (okay I guess that jellyfish counts haha), and that had a great time. Well, at least I had. I mean, between Colette-chan's butt and Yumeko's watermelons... *laughs*
Spoiler-free group photo.
Well, unless you include where Uchimaku's hand is at lol
P.S. Also read the next chapter (46) too but yes, her name is Chika-chan, and yes, Uchimaki only wanted to know of the strap, that's all. Man, making kid stalking a big thing, huh...

音楽
This Week on Klassic Note
Firstly... I finally got an experience with Apple Music Japan. Not as I expected, but that's not the problem. Secondly, and thus, it shall affect the releases I'm expecting and am listening as of this week, so that'll take some time. Let's talk about not Apple Music first. This week is a good example of why Apple Music would prove useful, if not all the time. Kana-chan's new single sounds surprisingly good, and I'm already giving a tune or two. She deserves an emotional song from time to time. Kawada Mami's final best album is also out, and I've got a good listen. A lot of Anime songs I rejected over the years, and I'll see if I can give a song or two by next week. As of now, no.

Here's where Apple Music proved useful. HOME MADE Kazoku's best album was fine, but I think I'll only be giving their newest and last song before their disbandment (I hate to use the word "hiatus"), I guess. Chatmonchy's new single is okay, I guess, but as in okay I only gave one song, so... yeah. They did talk about doing digital (instruments and style) soon but this one sure isn't. Next year, perhaps? cinema staff's new EP turns out disappointing like their other singles, but hey, I also gave the shortest tune in the history of Klassic Note, if you know what I mean. ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE's 2nd album was fine, and I really feel like giving more than just a couple of songs, so I'll give it some time. That's what happens when you have half a dozen releases to listen.

See?

I didn't write this part in that review post because I want to write it for a general opinion, but with Apple Music now for the next month I will be able to (potentially) review the following releases:
(Check out my Twitter likes for more information)

  • Aqua Timez's new album "Asunarou"
  • Tsuji Shion's 2nd album "OH!MY MISTAKES"
  • Miyawaki Shion's new album "SHARE THE HAPPY"
  • Kotobuki Minako's new single "Million Litmus"
  • Yoru no Honki Dance first double A-side single "Without You/LIBERTY"
  • HoneyWorks meets TrySail single "Senpai." (may not happen because TrySail's not updated on Apple Music)

See?

That and all, I still think this may change my reviewing of songs from now. Soon I will be doing my internship and the pay will come in handy, (and not use audio recording software or something haha) Apple Music will eventually lead me to the lifestyle where I will be supporting artists and their works by buying digital releases on iTunes just like what I'm doing to a certain extent, getting games for myself to play. I also got disrupted this weekend (specifically yesterday) by a broadband Internet breakdown, but hey, I got to play games a lot, so that's great. Cya guys then, and until then... I have another presentation tomorrow. Damn. Well after Monday I'll be a lot happier. And a lot more in the mood to type out *wink* some novel, yes? *wink*
