The Klassic Note Apple Music Japan Review (2016)

Hi guys. I think I've calmed down. I think. Because over the past few hours ever since I started the journey that is even just starting that 3-month free trial of Apple Music in Japan, and now I must say I'm not pleased. I may have been disappointed already. Allow me, to bring to you guys the experience I've been in just a few hours how Apple has managed to change my mind about music streaming.

BACKGROUND
To give you guys a head start, let's start with a crash course. In case you're as n00b as me who hasn't touched any Apple software at all (well I kind of did use a MacBook before, but), I shall give you guys an insight. You guys know of iTunes, right? That service that has served many to be one of the successful pioneers of digital downloads we see today. Well last year Apple introduced its own streaming service Apple Music, and it met with a lot of reactions. Back home here in Klassic Note my general opinion was quite obvious, and I see it to be a gap I could use to bridge between my conundrum of supporting artists and receiving up-to-date reviews of releases without forking out money for songs I don't want, just like how we buy CDs. So yeah, you can find out more about how I discussed about making such a decision, and the time for action is today. I tested it out, and I think a few hours is enough for me as a consumer to make a decision already.

APPLE MUSIC FOR DUMMIES
So, Apple Music resides within iTunes (for Windows, MacOS) and your mobile devices (Android, iOS) and uses their cloud service iCloud to sync an "iCloud music library" as they state, and this allows them to keep record of what songs you have been interested in and marking it as part of your cloud library. The biggest difference in storage in terms of iTunes and Apple Music here is that Apple Music doesn't use any storage. It just plays. It behaves just like a music streaming service, and uses like a checklist to keep track of what you listen. It gives recommendations from time to time and even gives you a way to save playlists, start radio stations which is similar to mixing YouTube videos if you've played that before, and so on. You can try that out for yourself, but mainly, it's a lot like any other music streaming service that's out there. It's only advantage (and my purpose for trying it out) is that it hosts a lot of Japanese artists and their digital releases, and unlike other services, still has the biggest library of Japanese songs in iTunes till date. The cloud sync of data runs swiftly, it has to use an Apple ID tagged to Japan though, so using separate accounts is recommended. It's not tough to get it running, and once you do, you'll get the whole of Japan's music in your hands... well, sort of.

THE MAIN PROBLEMS
"Chatmonchy" new single"ClariS" new single"cinema staff" new EP
Firstly, what appears in iTunes Japan does not equal to listed in Apple Music Japan. This can be clearly seen in my initial test of checking out newest releases this week. It's November 30 as we speak, and since it's a Wednesday, it's a peak day of the week to release songs, in case you didn't know. On my list I have four artists (three of them above), and one didn't appear in Apple Music, even if it's in iTunes. Check this out.
"Hanazawa Kana". Ooh...Kana-chan's new single on iTunes Japan
I then noticed this trend appearing not just on newest releases, but older releases too. Specifically, certain artists after transition typically list their releases in iTunes did not make them appear in Apple Music at all. So yeah, I can direct this cause by explaining a little bit of how companies work in Japan. Music in Japan has been strict for years, and releasing internationally has always been a challenge to them, sorting out copyright issues and licensing. So yeah, it so happens certain artists who belong to certain music companies still do not allow their artist releases to appear in Apple Music, despite being allowed in iTunes. (FYI Hanazawa Kana's music company is from Aniplex)
More can be evidenced by further searching terms like "HoneyWorks with sphere", where their music company (Lantis) has blocked releases but the company who hosts HoneyWorks (Sony Music Japan) did not put on that limitation. It may sound confusing, but to me it all makes sense. It's a little selfish, it's hard to negotiate terms on music streaming as to how much money is given, but yeah, this is precisely the result of those problems. So apparently only for most, Anime-related releases will be available, of course, which means artists like ClariS and Kalafina will not have problems listing their new songs. Yes, that includes LiSA, May'n etc. It only gets worse when regular artists in Klassic Note are searched out, and Ikimonogakari and Horie Yui (King Creative Records, ex.Starchild) did not make the cut. I barely saw an Ikimonogakari song on Apple Music but even that is banned from listening. And hey, I'm "already in Japan".

There is also (to a less major extent) a release delay on certain releases. [Alexandros] and their new album "EXIST" (released November 9th) has not been listed in Apple Music yet even though it is available in iTunes, for example.

OTHER PROBLEMS
And here are some more problems that I found, mostly missing releases even if the artist has releases plentifully listed. Also, certain exceptions do occur when I say that the music library in Apple Music is ten times worse off than what's in iTunes.
(Not in chronological order)
  • Tags are terribly done. If you have noticed, and it's not with the anyhow assignation of "EP" or "single" titles, but auto translations from Japanese. Who decided on that that it was good? I mean, I can get used to reading Japanese, so don't give me a string of alphabets to read, okay?
  • Two NICO Touches The Walls "Tenchi Gaeshi" singles lol
  • Goose house released two albums last year and there was only one of them? ("Milk", missing "Bitter")
  • plenty's previous album was nowhere to be seen, from last year.
  • cinema staff's 2014 album only 3 songs available? That's what I meant about licensing.
  • I can hear one song from PHONO TONES' 3rd album? Then why bother display all of them?
  • No SID, Porno Graffitti...
  • Why is the Base Ball Bear singles all split in their individual single tracks? They need that much time to license them one by one?
There is no stop button, clear now playing list button, no play this only option... I mean, I'm not even complaining.

THE ITUNES APPLICATION (WINDOWS)
Let's then talk a little about not the music library that Apple owns, but their software. As I mentioned somewhere, somehow anything that is not done on their own software platform is not platform-friendly. So obviously I'll have problems dealing with the application at the start. I did say getting into this isn't difficult, but I didn't say this was a smooth journey. It's quite troublesome at this time to ensure they don't ask you for your credit card because then your cover will be broken, and that region lock on Apple IDs will ensure you can never use that other Apple ID that you have outside of Japan.

Also, I noticed of the following that will make any customer experience unpleasant:
  • Download bar pops up beside search bar, occasionally being an eyesore and not occupying a space in the UI. Does this even happen on macOS?
  • There is that subtle lag when I add a song to the iCloud music library, and no, it's still responding.
  • Crashes often when I started to authorise the account, the application (yes you have to do that), and if you start spamming songs to create your own playlist all at once you'll eventually crash the application. And it's Windows.
  • UI was a lot more difficult to navigate compared to years ago when I (sort of) used iTunes. Then again there isn't Apple Music, so I'll give that a pass.
  • Two delete from library options?? Damn the UI is terrible...
  • Horizontal scroll bars just doesn't work sometimes. And it's irritating, particularly you want to scroll through the album list on the artist's page. It's there, you just can't scroll it.

THE ANDROID APP
And it gets worse. Apple has proven it cannot handle Windows well, let alone Android. I know the reverse is very different, so... I don't know why.
  • Works like a typical music app eg. Google Play Music
  • Works slower than a usual music streaming app. Artist page, album art takes time to load and that maybe bad. And talking about that...
  • It lagged my phone!! So much that I, for the first time, have seen a stock Android phone (Nexus 5X) was performing this slow. That's what happens if you add too many songs and basically using the app without just listening to songs for a long period of time. And yes that's not even for 5 minutes.
And I'm not even done yet. Up until the time I post this I've not even covered a fraction of artists I know of. I'm afraid I may be disappointed in the results I find on Apple Music now.

CONCLUSION
I'd like to continue reading Japanese and not live a life reading a string of alphabets that doesn't even make sense. I know if I continue adding songs to the library eventually I'll notice it's useless because I'm going to quit anyway. Apple Music changed my mind so much about music streaming I think it's actually more troublesome than my wait for new songs to appear. Really, I want that on-time review without having to pay for the download. Apparently, it's tougher than I thought.

I guess I'll just go back to leeching the Internet, I guess. Thanks for the next 4 months, Apple.

P.S. I may sound critical, but hey, I'm paying for it, you know. Well, I can actually don't because it's a free trial and somehow I paid for a gift card already, so I'm not going to waste it. I hope. I was right about the limited music library available, though.

P.P.S. Also, things might change after the free trial period ends, and if I can find enough in pursuing digital releases fast enough which leads me to taking down some of the releases for myself then maybe I'll change my mind. That's why the year label on this post. We shall see.

If you don't understand something, how are you ever going to understand it?

Me when I do my exam revision haha. Especially in university, it gets the worse of me. This kind of knowledge thing is unlike relationships, human science or whatever biased opinions whatsoever, you know. So how can you, ever? Memorising is the way to go for me, I guess. It's not working though.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #48

Damn, that section is getting real empty for a long time already... (Audience: Why not just remove it?) Because I don't want to show how boring my life is when it's nothing but Anime and music.

*silence*

Ugh, my head hurts. And it's from exams. I know; it's not over yet. *sigh*

ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow I'm so glad they the author didn't resort to doing cheap stuff like... okay I better not point names. Let's move on.
The episode (21) was real exciting. Mainly because of a meeting of two leaders rather unexpected, but also quite necessary. Problem here is because the locals here do want to take care of the city, and didn't want it to land in the hands of foreigners (practically the situation of most developed cities right now lol), and yeah, somewhat cooperative, I would say. Dazai and Chuuya were let to the safehouse to extract Q, that crazy being that can manipulate beings crazily like himself? Damn, this show is dark. But not so much. Lovecraft and that grapes guy (lol) came in as the Guild to eliminate the target(s) (I mean, they probably also have heard of abilities of Q by now), and one of them is surprisingly persistent. The decision was also made by Dazai to not kill Q but to save him even though he works for the Agency. Then again, we're met with a beast that practically isn't an ability I guess, but then again it crazy a monster as Chuuya can display his Corruption level powers, but damn this is real cool. I was expecting an interruption from Q if this doesn't go well, but all it takes is preparation from Dazai beforehand, I assume. Nonetheless, epic battles never get boring in this show, and I love it. So glad I got over that Anime which just does nothing but overpower and tips the scales so extremely. This one checks the marks of a good battle. Kafuka-sensei, I'm impressed.
"Of course I'm leaving Chuuya behind. -Dazai"
Seriously, what a dick huh, Dazai...
P.S. Which also means Q is in Dazai's hands. For I don't know what reason. To tame the guy? I'd like to see that from the likes of this ability-disabling joker haha
P.P.S. I just like the friendliness in the Dazai and Chuuya partnership. Stupid things like "I placed a bomb in your car" and "I drank an '89 bottle to celebrate" really kicks in like a couple of old lovebirds.

WWW.WORKING!!: Wow this episode. And hey, we got another couple dating again!! I like how this show is progressing haha
This episode (9) talks about a couple of things, like how Muranushi is like a local priestress to the shrine that is the restaurant, and without her everything gets crazily spooky lol. Adachi pays a visit to the girl as expected by the mother, and with some persuasion finally gets her out of the house. Literally. Like, they're going out. Pun not intended haha. Honestly saying? The last Adachi would do given the understanding of the family is to get her some medicine while visiting her. Then again, it's 40 degrees, so... Also, Yanagiba is worried about her friendship with Nagata, and somewhat that has patched up too. Comedy highlights include Saiki and Kisaki speaking English (I mean, Kisaki's surely is using natural AI language HAHAHA), Tomacchan speaking gibberish to Saiki, finger-moving in an Aniplex animation and how that exorcist mother dealt with the sweets that were brought to her house.
I won't say I find that home shrine familiar, but...
I'll leave whoever to search it online, yes?
Really, it's a joke, all of them. But I like the romance, so that balances out haha

This Week on Klassic Note
This week brings us a couple of releases. Damn, 210 songs already. I wonder how many can I still give. Going to break the record of 220 from two years ago already. Anyways, the releases. fumika's new single has been under review unlike her previous one, and I kind of like this one. Unfortunately, it doesn't mean I took both the songs on the double A-side single, and there's an English cover song to add in, so... yeah. I only gave one at this point. Also under review if  7!! (Nanae's) new single purely because it's a ballad tune which I miss so much once again, and yeah that is as far as I got. I've also gotten my hands on negoto's new single (thought I'll be using a certain platform to listen to it otherwise; details later on) and it's not as bad as I think. I maybe giving more than one song. I've yet to have a listen to Anime "WWW.WORKING!!" theme songs yet, so that will bug me for some time, I guess. But compared to that ending theme song (which you probably forgot) from like last season probably not as far. Which brings me to my next point: Apple Music.

Because Apple Music will solve most of the current problems about leeching from the Internet, as I would call it now. Things don't come as prompt as Japan would have released them, and delays typically affect my mood for reviewing those... releases too, so that shall be put to the stop from next month, hopefully. Here's to hope the administrative process goes well when I start after my exams and I can actually pull this out for the benefit of Klassic Note because honestly I'M SICK OF WAITING FOR SONG RELEASE DELAYS ALREADY. Okay, chill. *laughs*

This is it then. Next week in Klassic Note is so epic I don't even want to spoil you on it. Besides, it's better to end this way to I can continue revision for tomorrow's paper lol. Cya anyone next week, and until then... I'll be happy by Wednesday. I'll be celebrating it, for sure. I need memory cleaning as aggressive as those Android apps these days man. With distracting ads, of course haha.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #47

Wow. It's been hell of a week. A lot of revision, and now I'm (not) ready for the exams ahead of me. Damn, I'd rather exams are on like, Fridays so I can enjoy the weekend of watching Anime and stuff. Unfortunately, it's on a Monday. So I have to suffer this mood swing. Twice.

Yes, next week too. *sob*

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow this show just got a whole lot more exciting and complicated at the same time. I think I said that last week lol
The episode (19), the girls from the Agency are safe, after layers of saving by the brother and Kunikida, fortunately. Unfortunately though, Port Mafia's leader Mori Ougai let out their strongest prisoner Q (man they don't have better names than this?) (I've heard at least two more shows who use that alphabet) which can do mind control, and just like BLEACH if you have been reading this whole post faithfully for like three years lol, you would know it's tough to manage (controlled zombies, I mean), and in this case now that makes Atsuhi be a victim to his own past and powers. Things go a little out of hand again as Dazai tries to get the Agency a hand in this war by getting Ango in order to link with the government, but Francis, the leader of Guild as far as we know of, approaches that tiger of a bounty first. Hmm, and for all cliffhangers (damn I think I've been just summarising the plot here) Kyouka has to arrive. She's out, apparently, and hopefully to save the confused Atsushi. Really, he's confused about a lot of things, for sure. Next episode is going to be fun.
Well Atsushi is dumb anyway, so whatever, Dazai.
This toilet plot thing is really unnecessary haha
P.S. Don't ask me about the abilities of the two Guild members who went for the Agency girls, really. One loves nature and kills all girls besides her sister WTF, and the other is an octopus?? Damn there are too many references here for me to be able to understand this show now.

Sangatsu no Lion: Okay, this episode (7) kind of builds on the fact that you can have retarded friends (according to Kiriyama) like Nikaidou, and I'll explain why. First, the lead up. Remember that close to romantic comedy we received last episode? It's back, but it's not the girl. Takahashi, that baseball player someone is really into, turns out to know of people who love shougi, probably including himself. Kiriyama noticed they can hit well (not in baseball unfortunately haha) after a conversation or two, but then Takahashi showed him that clip. Starring the professional shougi player on TV with Nikaidou doing commentary. *sigh* I totally feel you Kiriyama. Just like some other Anime who has a silent main guy (*wink* Hyouka *wink*) it's tough living with an assertive friend and people being envious about your situation which is bad in your opinion. Nonetheless, it triggers him somehow, and now he has to teach people Japanese chess. Hey, I'm not saying it's bad, but at some point I see myself already leaving when Nikaidou comes in every time. Come on, who wants to have direct conflict? Well, not unless you're playing a shougi match of course. And no, I'm not interested in the game, so no thanks for the explanations, Bodoro. *laughs*
What happens when you say "dinner" in front of your cats.
I bet the struggle was a sight to watch, Akari-san.
P.S. TOTALLY didn't expect the ending theme song. OMG can they just stop

WWW.WORKING!!: Okay, now I think I can confidently say something I absolutely hate about this show. It's weird. And it's not just weird. It's weird weird. If you get what I mean, it's just weird. So weird, it's starting to turn bad. Like a bunch of chocolates that are bought. Which has no taste. Left alone for a month outside the fridge.
Okay, the episode (8). A lot is going on, so I'll keep it short. Miyakoshi's totally weird logic gets her into another thought of dating Higashida in order to advance her cooking skills, but to no avail. I do not know now if she's serious about relationships or is she just now knowing how BGR works. But still, Higashida sees the consequences, and instead of scolding right at her make and making it straight like her mother did about the restaurant bill, he went along with it. And that, even so, is still not working on this dorkhead. Seriously, Miyakoshi-san, you need classes in being human. Also, Adachi's failed socialising skills led him into a worse situation than he is previous episode with Muranushi, and her complicated feelings for him has once again become even more negative. Kisaki is ordering that foreigner like a slave, Nagata-san is dejected as usual because she also cannot express her feelings for the main guy, and don't ask me why someone doesn't want to go to school but wants to go down South. To Okinawa, for example. Damn, this show is weird. Just like Shiho-san with words on poor people lol
(Not enough)
When you ain't got the chest, and...
(Satisfied)
... when you got the chest. Damn, didn't know this was a baby thing haha
P.S. I can do a lot more jokes here this episode, but if I do I'll be real biased. But really, this show is ridiculously funny, in a weird sense.
P.P.S. Honestly, Miyakoshi Hana is a weird girl. I mean, she don't get crane games too. Seriously? Even if I NEVER played once in my life?? Ugh, like Higashida, her presence makes my head ache.

No, let's not talk about Ms.OOJA, yes? I regretted giving a listen to her latest music video already.

Okay, this week has a couple of releases, and yes, I don't think it starts with her. But still, I eventually rejected listening to Ms.OOJA's new album not because of the music video but because I'm reaching a point of the year that I rather not give too many songs (it's got to do with song count) so she's off the list for this year. Next year... maybe? No promises to myself there though. On other releases, I chanced upon listening to AOP's new single once again after what I heard from last season's Anime I decided to give another chance, and I'm not disappointed, to say the least. Aimer's new single came in hot and quick, and I gave a song just because it's good, really. sphere's new single also came in, and it wasn't impressive until two things happened, because of (1) the music video which has a plot worth mentioning here, and (2) the LINE LIVE radio-like stream to talk about the new single. I ended up giving them the chance and I'm liking it now. Not the whole single though. Sorry, no new reviews this month.

Talking about new songs too, there's much to talk about what's ahead until the end of the month. ClariS, cinema staff, Chatmonchy and Kana-chan are all set to release new singles, and I got a listen to them a couple of days ago. (Thanks private VPN app!) ClariS sounded fine so I might just give a listen ever since their previous collaboration single, cinema staff's topic song is just barely 2 minutes long, and Chatmonchy and Kana-chan's have potential. I'll hold my comments for now until I have the time to listen to them two weeks from now, but until then at least I'll be damned if WORKING!! theme songs will come up next week, after I'm done with my first wave of exams.

On other things next month and so, I've heard a couple. fumika's new single is turning out to be quite interesting with a good share of English lyrics. Ugh, she can't sing English though... Anyways, and I thought that's bad until I heard that Yuuki Aoi is coming up with a new mini-album and the music video preview is literally just her skin pores (Audience: It's that close??!!) (Yeah) it really makes me cringe unnecessarily. I took a path to find out what happened to HAPPY BIRTHDAY the girls group (details in Twitter if you haven't seen it), and I may have to give another release from Miyawaki Shion yet again. Oh damn, it's the composer I'm giving, that's for sure haha

Yeah, exams. Since it starts early in the morning, I better sleep early too. I need the brain energy to (sleep) strive through 2 hours worth of stress. Cya guys then, and until next time... hey at least next Monday's paper is in the afternoon. *dry laughs*

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #46

Yes, this week is about to be over. But damn I'm glad it's going to be over. A lot of things happened and were announced, so I'll not bore you guys over my life, but hey, I still had to catch up with entertainment, yes? So let's see what I've done over the past day haha

アニメ
ANIME
Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow everyone this episode (18) got double-crossed it seems. Not for Port Mafia though.
As we all know, Port Mafia's leader Ougai is infamous of taking action seriously and swiftly, and this time it's no exception. He sent off people to blow up Guild's supply ship, and dropped hints to hideouts of the Agency's staff whilst sending people to the original team's hideout to "tip them off". Yes, if you're experienced in action shows and carefully planned plots this is an easy example of a trap, and it works for both parties mainly because Guild has sent enough people so they will fight whatever it takes and the Agency is playing defensive. Hey, who says action shows are boring? Akutagawa is probably going to die in the blood of God lol, and who knows who's going to save the girls? Kunikida maybe next to receive orders. I'm getting real hyped. And I thought this was going to be boring haha
Come on, Ranpo-san is just bored. Gotta love those animations haha
P.S. Can't you see? Port Mafia doesn't have to do nothing. Chuuya is right; the gang will see the other two groups beat each other up. Oooh this is going to be fun~

Sangatsu no Lion: Is it just me or am I not getting the feels of Kiriyama's past? Oh well. To each their own story, yes? Now, the episode (6). The show discussed about Rei-kun's initial moveout of someone's house to live by his own, how people have influenced him, and how he didn't become a master. Master, as in, a prodigy, I guess. But then again shougi aside, there's quite a lot to remember and feel here. He did start out with a good life, as in having a family when one day he just lost it. (So f**k you Kyouka; wait till the day you lose yours) And then he lost again. Twice. In matches. And then everything about himself kind of falls apart. The show then summarises with Hina-chan, and possibly the most interesting part of the episode because I really dig in this kind of stuff, with that consolation from her invites him to eat with the Kawamoto sisters once again. I wished I had such warmth in my life. Not just people coming in and out of my life, not just being friends for some reason or just to talk it out. That isn't enough, I guess. But for Kiriyama, this might just be his reason to live. As a person and for the people around him now.
Akari giving herself a pat in the back because she did well.
And because she hasn't had a break in a long time. #lifegoals
P.S. WHERE IS THE BEACH EPISODE, DAMMIT!! *laughs* Not that I'm expecting one.

WWW.WORKING!!: I must say, I'm not getting it. Well, that is provided if you have watched this show for half the season (7) already lol. Anyways, a lot of everything is in this episode as usual. We got Kisaki giving a winning lottery ticket to Yuuta, even though it's like last year and that he ditched it in order to make it up with Shiho. Damn ain't that cute haha. Also, Miyakoshi finally gets to meet Saint Valentine in his off-peak season haha, and gets to find out what really happens when you pass out just by eating chocolate made with leftovers. That, and a three-hour ranting from Nagata-san too, I guess. Damn I want those romance antics and results soon. I don't think we'll be getting it in this show though. But damn I want more.
And... there you go. Shiho isn't the only person slapping money on Yuuta's face.
Man, kids these days...

Okay, now that I've finished listening to everything, let's talk about it. SPYAIR's new single is quite impressive as usual, but it's not on the shelf for sure. I mean, I'm only here for the topic song haha. nano.RIPE's new album from last week's review (yep the release was like a month ago already) turned out good, as this usual fan by now is giving a couple of tunes because I like their music. [Alexandros] new album is quite a feat, considering I only give as far as Aqua Timez where rap pop style music is concerned, I don't give out-of-beat tunes these days, and their English is too good that it sounds like everyone else in the West. But oh well, I want to try to give a couple of tunes anyway, so I'll try. I think I have a couple of them locked down by now. Porno Graffitti's new single is quite a disappointment mainly because it isn't that catchy as last time round I heard them (which is this year BTW) but it's fine. I'll see if I can give one of them. I'm missing negoto's new single this week so I hope it comes soon, and I incidentally got Tsuzuri Zukuri's album from like, two years ago where that song got a ranking, so I'll listen to that next week due to time concerns.

Future releases brings us ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE's new music video, and I must say it's not bad as usual, and I think I like their punk rock music compared to how much English they're using as a Japanese band haha. In particular next week brings us sphere's new single in like, a year. Also, THE ORAL CIGARETTES. But that I'm not giving topic song liao, so I don't know where that's going to go. We're far from the peak season next week, but then again there's more the week after, so that's good news.

Cya guys next week then. I'm not in a mood to type more due to the fact I'm like a week to exams and I'm not close to half done yet. I'm going out with a friend (if you could call that haha) (my future self is going to hate me for saying that lol) to study tomorrow anyways, so that's a good start. Until next time... I hope you have someone to be with. If your family doesn't bother about you, that is. Me? I'm coping with it well. I foresee a future that I desire to change it though. So I'll see about it. Bye!

Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow, what a comeback of an episode, huh. Now we're back to the main story (17), I expect some action. And I must say from this introductory episode I'm not disappointed. Things are reminded well and also plot progression is significant. We first talk about Kyouka's origin, where she became an orphan and was used by Port Mafia of her powers. Well, it would seem it's the demon in her that killed her parents, and probably it took that Kouyou woman (I honestly have no idea whose b*tch she was haha) to teach or save her with the demon of hers and I guess everything else is good for our own predictions. Nonetheless, there goes one liability, but in comes another. Port Mafia, instead of fighting an external organisation Guild with the Agency would rather play a three-sided war. Which means one side will have to fall, and that doesn't sound like good news. The Guild itself also presented two members initially along with the rest of the cast sent in as a "luggage", but then again without Kana-chan (lol) it probably wouldn't be as interesting. Damn, so many guys. Good thing Yosano-san is there to heal everyone in the field if necessary haha
P.S. Kyouka cannot do admin work, seriously. She screws up big time with a taser lol
Yeah, if you get a (somewhat) Japanese pun you're good.
In here her name きょうか sounds like "a permit" きょか, isn't it?
(She should've said "I'm it" and she would have been let in haha)
Sangatsu no Lion: Honestly saying, I like how the stories of Rei are times more interesting than shougi. That's good.
Now, the latest episode (5). First half was about Rei fetching Momo-chan, and damn the voiceovers for the animals are just funny haha. Then again, it's a good reminder of Rei and his past. That he had a family. And he had a younger sister. And Momo-chan probably reminded him of her. Linking that to the second half, we see more of his past, the aftermath of the accident the rest of the family had without him (I know, right?) and the heartlessness of the rest of the house. Then again there's this friend of his dad, who took him in to a shougi family and in consequence Rei accidentally ruined his. Then again, the kids should grow up ("HIT ME, B*TCH!" lol) and learn to change their directions in life, and on the other hand Rei decided not to pursue higher education because he was do professional. Yeah, it may be a tough life for him, he may have trampled on other people's lives and wishes, but don't we all do? I know of people who trampled on my sensitive soul when I was a kid, and this is probably a good consequence of how my own character is like today. So yeah, it's fine, too bad it's intrusive because Rei's family was killed, and there's still that someone who mattered in his life. Rei picked his life up and moved on. And that isn't a bad thing.
P.S. Yeah it's competition and jealousy again that thrives in such a story. Reminds me a lot about KimUso where some genius pianist intruded the lives of many other kids.
Even the dog feels bad for making Momo-chan cry haha
P.P.S. I SWEAR I didn't even notice the song I've been giving which released with the manga's 10th volume from 2014 is also this Anime's ending theme! Lol, and then again where's the opening theme? I've only known of the full song being played; Don't tell me it's also released already...?
WWW.WORKING!!: I guess Shiho-chan does piss me off, but hey, it's just a story. If Ten-chan were like this in real life... I wouldn't be able to take it lol
Okay, the episode (6). There's everyone in the episode, so that's like the usual haha. Shindou is being bullied by Shiho again, and this time in lottery tickets, but then again he isn't angry at all which makes Shiho's methods rather ineffective on him. On the other hand, there's the conundrum of Miyakoshi's chocolates. I mean, Being nice to her isn't really an option to begin with, and apparently the best solution is to make her like cooking for people she cares about. I mean, did she not try cooking for her mother? Lol that would have been a disaster already for sure. Other than that, she trying too hard is kind of pissing Higashida off, which we will certainly get to by the end of this season, I hope. There's also the Muranushi smile problem, which technically killed two guys in this show (one more to prove the point), and yeah, this show is weird. I guess, because they're trying to round things up, and when it gets awkward leaving it to dangle seems like the best solution. Man, I'm not getting this show at all haha
Me when Saint Valentine tells me to like some girl with all my heart.

This Week on Klassic Note
This is quite a week for new songs, I must say. Let's go through them all, shall we? Asakura Momo's debut single isn't so much of a disappointment ever since I heard of the topic song which is not the insert song intended for some movie airing next month in Japan, and I feel like giving her cute voice, so... yeah, that's one's pretty much settled. Ayachi's 3rd album this time round wasn't as impressive as usual actually, but then again I took a couple of songs that I think are good in melody, and you might be able to guess anyway. The topic song isn't a disappointment, and in the few days I've grown to like it. Numakura Manami's debut single was pretty good, so good to the extent I might be able to give the whole single. But I didn't. Because unlike Mikakoshi's new single this one I cannot get used to. Well, I don't want to do the "brainwash" test right here, so no. I'll withhold giving her more songs to make her single be on my shelf, but I see potential of her in the future. LuckLife's new single came on time, and I'm all ready to give a couple more than they have in the single. It's still in pending I guess, but I'll get to it by next week for sure, I hope. Me taking their previous single as benchmark maybe a little too much to judge for this new one though. Ray's new single caught my attention somehow, so I decided to give her a chance. I didn't take the topic song though, and as such a rarity is not common this year in Klassic Note (the last time was THE ORAL CIGARETTES in July), purely because the song sounds good, and I like the chorus, and I miss that style of music that can be written for her. Damn, why they write lousy Anime songs? Oh well, better keep this to myself haha. I've also finally caught on to nano.RIPE's latest album and eh... I don't know how to give. Clearly last year's album was better, but you know, I'll still give a couple somehow. The topic song though, I think I may have commended it too much to it being suited for my current mood now.

I also took some time to listen to BUMP of CHICKEN's latest album in view of the Anime's ending theme song (to know how dumb I was to not know that refer to the ANIME section haha), as I eagerly await on the show's opening theme song to become a release soon. Man, I have a feeling they're aiming for next year now. It's okay; it's not the first time I know of this already. *wink* Aqua Timez *wink* MASK *wink* Haha

Next week brings us a couple more releases, most notable negoto's new single because it's been some time since I gave a song from them already, and the preview from the music video sure sounds great, unless the low quality audio makes it sound better than I thought. Well, not first time too anyway. I refer you to the recently uploaded music video on their VEVO YouTube channel "nameless", which I started from a low quality preview and the full song turned out more repelling than I thought. Oh well, first impressions are important anyway. Also, it's going to be the first time in two years I review a new album from [Alexandro], previously named by a wine company which told them to change their name... okay, go find it out yourself. Anyways, their new album is out with that "feel like" thing I've been mentioning on Twitter, so be sure to check it out yourself too.

Ugh... nano.RIPE's new songs are hard to give... I promised myself to not drag this out and give this buy the weekend, but it looks like I may not be able to do so. Okay, maybe I can. Tomorrow I have no school. Or I have too little school that going there will waste a lot of time and money. Haha oh well. Better stay at home doing logbooks and reports. Ugh, my stomach hurts. Cya guys then, and until next time... don't be too generous to music. But be honest to it. Only then will you find those that you will not get sick of listening. I need to stop being so kind. Yes, I'm talking about all for you guys, Anime company music composers.

P.S. Sorry for the spamming of criticisms for Anime music. Because it's just my biased opinion and many of them are actually good. I'm being very specific here, so don't shoot me down for it. I mean, if there is anyone out there that will. *sob*

The Dream Fragment #19

Hey, it's been some time. And kudos to whoever knows that title means I've been dreaming about girls again, but hey, I have no girlfriend lol. Anyways, this time, it's the girl who just got her solo debut single. No, I don't mean Nu-chan (Numakura Manami), and I'm referring to one of the TrySail girls. Read on to find out.

Since it's excerpts, I'll keep it short. As usual, those in quotes are recollections, and brackets are personal opinions.

"I was in the middle of a theme park. I was surrounded by crowds of queues along with Mocho (Asakura Momo) who is desperately walking around the pathway to look for people in the crowd. As I walked with her, I saw familiar figures like the back of Ten-chan (Amamiya Sora) and the jovial, enthusiastic face of Nan-chan (Natsukawa Shiina). Suddenly, the camera view changed and I was looking from the view of Nan-chan, who got out of the queue to approach Mocho."
Yes, did I not mention about me totally seeing how big her bra is? I know; Mocho has potential. And she's only 22 as we speak haha

"Then the scene changed to a long path, similar to an apocalypse of some kind where only a couple would walk towards something everyone is walking away from. Once again, Mocho and I were the only ones (hugging each other, and) (xD) walking against the opposing crowd. And once again, we passed by Ten-chan who waved to us, Nan-chan to talked to us (her more than me), and..."

That's all folks. I can only remember this much. By this much I mean that's enough for me to remember considering it's been an hour since I woke up on a chilly morning where I'll be busy the rest of this school day. If you guys need references they aren't difficult to search online. Nothing that'll get you excited about someone's chest (lol), but you'll mostly find cute girls, if you're into it like me. I personally like 3D, if you want to ask haha

P.S. Related stuff include the fact that I've been editing some TrySail images before I sleep and totally mesmerising over them, and Mocho's debut single releases this week, and on preview it doesn't sound bad. Maybe like Aki-chan it may be a beginning to another fandom...?

P.P.S. I'll never win that China guy who bought enough singles to create a pillar in his room (it's definitely a he, and yes stacked by thickness) and lay down a heart for his confession. I mean, I'm not even that desperate.

Monday 31 October 2016

There are so many things in life that I don't know of, yet everyone around me thinks I know everything.

Yeah, burning off steam over that project which report I have to do by this week and have to present next week. As usual with all group projects there can be understanding, and a lot of misunderstanding in terms of knowledge of whatever we are doing. I have a feeling I'm at the lowest of them all, and that's not good news. The truth will be out someday, and somehow it needs to be known earlier.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #44

Hey. Time is up for entertainment reviews, huh. Let's get to it.

Why am I sad? I'm not. Let us go through all of these first, yes?

アニメ
ANIME
Sangatsu no Lion: So how much shougi was on that episode 3 compared to this episode (4)? 50%?? Damn...
Okay. Firsly, the verdict. I'll watch. Yay! Why? I believe there'll be more slice-of-life than whatever Kiriyama is doing. Then again, I've mentioned about two weeks of praise for this show in terms of music, animation and story. After catching up to the latest episode noticing it airs the same day as WORKING!! below, I think I can give the show. I take the story format familiarity to KimiUso which you guys know I watched last year, is also about some genius in a field being around people who care. This time, it's just a family of three girls. Hey, how can I say no? After watching Akari-san like "rounded balls" (lol I'm so sorry to all fat people), Hina-chan fall in love with someone who is already super popular in baseball at her school, and Momo-chan getting lost, I think I'm convinced I can pass shougi and the current representation of this very... uninteresting sport (for me at least), that Nikaidou-san. Seriously, he's a pain in the butt. Yes, I'll likely stay for the girls, the everything funny, and try to tolerate whatever it is that Kiriyama is doing. Now that may sound a little harsh, but coming from the understanding of watching an Anime with a similar format, I think I can give it. There may likely come an episode for this two-cour show (which will air till March next year) where I'll be watching a full shougi match without much explanation and generalisation of techniques (the story was kind to use "dodged various attacks" as compared to showing me a dozen Silver General appearances), and maybe then I'll regret my decision. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to know that I'm enjoying this show. Everything. Sad or happy, weird or extreme, this show's got it all. No wonder it was an award manga and gets an Anime adaption. It's good.
lol the cats falling over after eating. They didn't tell that it was bad though haha
P.S. I wonder if it's only me, but BUMP of CHICKEN reminds me of Cocoro Auction, just more mainstream. Also, when is the release of these theme songs? No date whatsoever yet man...
WWW,WORKING!!: Wow. This show's pace... I can't catch up with it sometimes.
This episode (5), we talk a little about... everything, it seems. It doesn't matter anyway. You probably won't understand half of it lol. We now know of the manager's past, apparently he's dumb enough to help a yankee fight so he seems like the rowdiest in school receiving followers like Kamakura's bodyguard (or Shindou's, on his account), rejecting to be a bodyguard and getting a hell lot of money about of it and then being extorted by his employees... Man this show knows how to turn it around. And back. And around. And back. *laughs* On other things, Saiki's screwing up of Japanese wrongly (I mean, it's not even close to slightly off) is causing a lot of problems, but somewhat gets Shiho in the mood I guess. Kouno is the loner in this show unfortunately while everyone else is getting a piece of romance I guess, with Adachi having the prospective mother-in-law stopping by the restaurant, Miyakoshi being taught of taking responsibility of giving chocolates by Nagata who takes romance as a responsibility??? Man, this show is weird. Damn, but I liked that summary of Miyakoshi in the middle of the episode about smiles though. Good sum up of all the workers in this restaurant. And you thought the original series is weird lol
"Dammit! Thank you!"
For someone who has no place in romance, and needs company.
I need to find people to do that someday haha
P.S. Muranushi's mother may be weird, her as an exorcist she may not be, but she can foretell. And it's good to know we're dealing with a spirit possessed on that girl who wears a scarf all season haha

漫画
MANGA
Kuroshitsuji: Well, it's quite a short chapter (121) I must say. But then, a good time for a summary. We now can recall the process of a rising new hall of popularity in the city driven by a bunch of ex-criminals (lol) and a mysterious guy who wants to supposedly advance research by drawing blood out of people for experimental purposes. Well this backfire will lead to those corpses outside of town (I mean, a bag or two of blood is fine but every single drop is kind of ridiculous, yes?), and Ciel is ready to fight back and take it down by his own rendition. The P4 (oops I called them criminals) didn't manage to last for long, and the Funtom Hall is prospering than ever before. Will this be the end for Bravat, or will he resort to petty tricks that will expose himself of his evil actions? Maybe nex chapter will tell us.
You're damn right, Bravat. Unfortunately it's not under your nose,
and it's all done by one butler called Sebastian haha

This Week on Klassic Note
Yay, this week is a week for reviews! Well, I hope this will continue for next month, we're expecting a lot I will say. Satou Satomi's new single finally came into review, but as I somewhat mentioned before to myself, it wasn't very good, so I just ended up giving the first song instead. The opening theme song for that Anime I didn't review this week (refer to last week's for details) SCREEN mode's new single is pretty alright, and I'm real close to giving the release itself but hey, I didn't. Thank goodness at least. The Regular Edition once again is the Anime, so that's going to be irritating. (Why can't they understand I just want the artist image to symbolise my review of the artist? Damn) I tried to give a listen to Tainaka Sachi's 10th anniversary album to much disappointment. I mean, even her previous album is more lively than this one. Tomacchan's new single isn't that much of a disappointment, but seeing as it's from a "Sword Art Online" franchise I think I have to be biased against it somehow. I still gave the hyped tune so don't get me wrong, the songs are good. I just didn't get all two of them.

And for the follow-up to the live performance videos I saw last weekend: (RIP uploader, I'll not get new ones from now) I took another listen to LILI LIMIT's mini-album from last year and told myself to review their major debut single asap, so I shall next week. I also took a listen to Fujifabric's concept album (the male one) from last year in view of their topic song for the real life show for Anime "Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun". Honestly saying? The show isn't impressive, despite it still being ridiculous haha. The theme song is good enough, so I'm taking it.

Next week brings a couple more releases if I can remember it. Ayachi's new album takes top on this one, even though I'll probably only give at most two songs like last time. I mean, you heard the preview? Why do the first two songs sound like Nintendo sponsored tunes? *laughs* LuckLife's 3rd single is also releasing next week, which will probably put SCREEN mode to shame because I like these guys and the opening theme song isn't as great as the ending theme. Asakura "Mocho" Momo's debut single is also arriving next week, and upon first impression... I must say I expected an emotional tune, but this isn't. Still, I still can give a listen to it, yes? We shall see. You bet I'm aiming for the special gift *laughs proudly*

Okay, fun's over. Next week is going to be rougher than ever because of a thing called "project", so it's not going to be easy on my brain. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to know that it's just going to go way down with me one month close to the exams, and Klassic Note will doubt will take a dip after I have to spend some time to review the releases above. *sob* Why must life be like this? On the other hand, life kind of creates the mood for me to listen to these songs too, so that's going to be good. Cya guys next week, and until next time... Until next time... Until...

Just like many things in life, there is only a thin line between dating and idolisation in entertainment.

There can be only that many questions you can ask, but in dating, if you ask too much you can choose another. There isn't such a thing in celebrity idolisation, you know. That's literally me with all the girls I know of, haha

Friday 28 October 2016

I wish I had a little less control over myself. That will probably make me a better person, to be honest.

Really, have you ever thought of that? Or is it just me? *sigh* Thinking too much really is a problem, people. Sometimes it's okay to be less sensitive, less serious, less... everything. I don't think I can ever undo that already though. That's what happens if you spend too much of your childhood like this.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #43

Okay, let's finish this quick. I need to... I'm not going to tell you. Never mind that, let's do this before the week ends. Damn, Anime on a Sunday...

アニメ
ANIME
Sangatsu no Lion: This is good animation, people. Be convinced.

*silence*

Okay, now I can talk about the episode (2). *laughs* It's a short end to part 2 in an episode, but who cares. That rival of his is irritating as sh*t without the butler. The story is well written into parts, well narrated to mean many stuff in the story, which is important for people like me to learn to appreciate such a slice-of-life show. Then again, let's talk about what's not that good about it. Firstly, and my utmost concern, Shougi. Not that I know of it, but having a match half dictated this episode makes me wonder if I want to continue this show. And then, it's too long, the narration. But hey, drama is boring too, so this maybe better. Also, it's tough to get to follow these kind of show because of its nature of jumping scenes from one to another, from reminiscence to the main story. It's not bad, but it's just dislocated sometimes considering it's an adaptation. I swear the author himself would have done much better at capturing this, but then that's kind of a personal opinion, I guess. All in all, I want to give that three episode rule, and hopefully next episode is not like KimiUso where I have to literally watch half an episode of Japanese chess. Please, or else I'll say goodbye to this and take BUMP OF CHICKEN with me.
Didn't expect to see amateur porn on this show lol. #gagging
But hey, Akari is a matured woman.
P.S. Akari (voiced by Kayanon FYI) is probably the most matured female I've watched in Anime. That, and out of gratefulness, makes her the best saviour in Kiriyama's life ever, I hope. I tell you, it'll be mine too if I ever get drunk with a bunch of upper-class chess players in the bar that she works in lol
Bungou Stray Dogs: Wait, what happened to last episode?? Did Odasaku just miraculously recover??
Okay, this last episode about the Dark Era, I don't get it. As you may recall someone touched a poisoned ball set up by his friend Ango, right? So now what? He's alive again? *checks back last episode* Wait, so they played two episodes within a week??

I'm sorry, but I may have to start this again. Seriously f**ked up this one now. And I finally knew the reason behind it. There has been simulcast of the next episode after the current on the same week (15 is what is on the official Twitter), and I seemed to have watched ahead. No wonder everything doesn't make sense. How about I talk about the end of the Dark Era now (15-16) so I can skip this next week, yes?
#bulletproof
Okay, what happened. Odasaku apparently was just poisoned, but I assume it's paralysis, which is why he can be in the hospital and his friend Ango will never kill him this way. Then again, it's a lot to happen in a while. Odasaku also crossed hands with the leader of the Mimic guild, and like him, has predictive powers, which is a problem. There can only be one, and there will always be conflict of abilities. So yeah, problem is that Gilde (that leader) wanted a reason to die again, thinking that he was a soldier who was meant to die after a battlefield. But then Odasaku doesn't want to die, or grant them that death, ie. fight with that freak. I mean, I understand this all, and it's a little of real life too, but... just shoot yourself already you piece of sh*t. Don't go killing people with your superior power or blowing kids up in a van. Which would have more impact had I not watched it in the wrong order. (!@#$%&*!!) Nonetheless, it wasn't for revenge, but Odasaku shall eliminate the opponent himself. Dazai didn't want to help, seeing that Ango was a triple undercover agent for the government, has understood that the leader of  Port Mafia has allowed Odasaku to meet his own death in favour of a license to operate with ability power users in the country, which is business reasonable I guess. Dammit this show, so complicated, Kafuka-sensei, but I like. Also, Dazai made the right choice by listening to his friend before he dies to move on to saving people. Lastly, anyone remembers where Ango is now? He's not dead... right??
All for doing bad stuff legally. Under control.
Is this what Port Mafia wanted? Well, in business this is good enough.
Next week, or actually two weeks from now, will brings us back to canon material. Thank goodness. I'll follow the episode number strictly from then on, and we'll talk about what else Dazai can do after he leaves Port Mafia. Apparently even finding some creative way to die is also part of his past haha

WWW.WORKING!!: Screw you Saint Valentine! The heck you appearing on this show again...
Okay, the episode (4) lol. Too many laughs, I cannot stop. It's not the time to give chocolates, but it seems Miyakoshi can only make chocolate. How does the mother not even spend some time to teach the kid to cook? I thought cooking is important in defining a quality trait for the future wife? Oh well, not like Higashida should be eating sh*t chocolate anyway. I mean, there's easy-to-read Nagata-san. *laughs loudly* Anyways, there's more to that than just chocolate. Let's skip Shiho-san's part for now (heck, can they not make it so wrong?), and focus ourselves on that prospective couple I think is great. Yeah, talking about Adachi and Muranushi. Then again, the guy doesn't know if he's in love, and the girl - like how she doesn't believe in ghosts - doesn't believe she is doing anything for love. Well, I mean, her jokes aside (if you knew when it started), I think this reality may dawn upon them soon. Then again, we don't have far to look at, seeing the spirit just stuffed some real (edible) (won't-have-to-experience-death) chocolate up his mouth. We shall see how this goes. This show got potential haha
Miyakoshi's mother screwed calendar dates up. Twice.
Guess we can't be good at everything haha
P.S. I don't know it's money or what, but this discrimination between Shiho and Yuuta is just terrible. It goes further than the world problems we have today. Please, Ten-chan, stop. It hurts watching you act this part.

This Week on Klassic Note
Not much this week, except the fact that I managed to order Mikakoshi's new single and review it within the same week, so that's kind of good. Also, Sambomaster's limited edition single that shouldn't have been on my shelf. Oh well, whatever. Satomi-chan's new single finally came out somehow, and at first impression I don't see why I would even give one of the three songs. nano.RIPE's new album is still missing somewhere (which is why I need a music subscription soon), and there is follow up for SWANKY DANK. Well, kind of. A new music video appeared online soon after that one I watched, so that probably will be in next week.

I've only given one song in order to review the single, so don't ask me for recommendations. On the other hand, I watched some rock festival live performances in the afternoon so that's going to set things up for next week until next month comes where I'll see more new releases. We'll see.

We'll see about what I said above, yes? I hate presentations, BTW. Especially those driven by a project I know little about. Okay, just a rant to keep me going. Soon. Cya guys next week then, and until then... I need more songs. New ones. That I think are fresh. That aren't techno. That... can make me remember the true spirit of Klassic Note. Man, I miss those days. I need to listen to more of those next week.

The Klassic Note Review 2016.10 Issue 1

Ah, I like starting a post with a Tweet... my new phone camera is better, yes? *laughs*

Hey, it's been a while you don't see the next paragraph starting with the word "ANIME" lol. It's time for another review, I must say. This time it's two bought on order, but I'll only talk about one. I'll also talk about exploiting of an exception in Klassic Note so that Sambomaster gets to have another limited edition single on my shelf. Ah, bending the rules is great haha. Okay, it's been a journey giving Mikakoshi's new single a thumbs up for many reasons, so let's talk about it, yes?

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
Komatsu Mikako - Imagine day, Imagine life! [Single]
Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Very casual and personal, I like. It's just hard to see her in the Regular Edition on top of that stack of boxes...)

Origin: Okay, where should I start... Let's talk about the girl. Komatsu "Mikakoshi" Mikako as they call her and I shall too, is a voice actress, in case you aren't aware. She started her music career back in 2012 when she had short hair lol, but that wasn't where I started. It's because of an Anime without a God on Sunday... well you know. And since 2013 I've been giving a chance to listen to her singing works, including her 2nd album back then two years ago. Coming to this year, she transferred record companies with the assistance of composition group Q-MHz after their first mini-album release featuring her in two songs (I got one of them in my list). I guess that's when the transfer to TOY'S FACTORY was in place, and this became her debut single. Definitely not her first, I would say, but she does have great singles along the way. And this, I don't want to miss.

(1) Imagine day, Imagine life!
Firstly, the topic song. It may feel lengthy, but then again it's part of the composition style as felt in this song itself. Critically speaking features of Q-MHz set of composers that stand out, which includes startling pop style production, extended Anime-like melodies, and their attempt a very fresh feel every time even though it feels like a staple Anime production, they have not been sitting on a favourable impression for being from Anime background. The chorus may be long, but to most of the single I give due to the style, and I must say it's too outstanding to not give this song. The music video also shows a charming side of Mikakoshi, and that I'll leave for you to judge and for me to savour a lot haha. All in all, it sets the pace up for the single, and this is a recommended listen.
Rating: 4 stars (Slightly Above Average)

(2) Dakara Henji wa Iranai [(I) Don't Want A Reply]
This one was the deal breaker in this release, surprisingly. It went from positive in the previews to negative in the initial review I did from last week and it got saved luckily from the "grave" of 2.99 Stars Project - the place I reject songs with reason - because I like her. Okay, it's not true. The song kind of got stuck in my head over the weekend, and that is what probably made me give the thumbs up. The melody in the verses feel rather lengthy, the chorus is what is good, and the lyrics suggest a positive yet flirty side of her usual singing style, so yeah, why not? Also, as I mentioned above, the catchy pop style production makes of an attraction magnet (including the singer's voice of course), and makes this rather irresistible to reject. And here it is.

(3) Angel Number
This is the second song in the release to give. Initial impressions of the single aren't great, but with the review I got exposed greatly to this side of Mikakoshi, that lively and upbeat personality that shines with her, and upon further listening even in this review... it's a birthday song, people. It's not obvious, but the lyrics are saying it out that I cannot ignore. Since she is also involved in the lyrics she perfectly presented even analogically (with Cinderella) how she wants to have her birthday her way, and letting her shine on that special day. (That day is November 11 by the way) So special, she got a song for it. You deserve it, Mikakoshi, and I'm taking it all in. This is a staple example of her being able to sing such upbeat songs in contrary to the many songs I have given her, and with the strong pop style it makes this the best song on the list.

Conclusion: This is it, Q-MHz. This is the final time I'll ever give you guys a chance to do well. This is that scorecard. I hope in the future someday I don't have to reminisce on this single because you can't do anything better than what you have offered now. Mikakoshi is a great choice to go for to support for whatever reasons, but she has been given a chance to perform. And I approve it. You guys should too. For giving an Anime composers group a chance to show you how great pop music can be, and how much Mikakoshi can shine with her singing. It has punch, emotion, and happiness in every track. You can't say no to such a good release as this, with me coming this far away back when I started a week ago. It's never too late to give this release a chance.

-Kaineng, on the Klassic Note

(P.S. Do I sound angry? I don't know. The process and stress that comes along giving a new release these days is tiring. I mean, look at that alternate jacket cover. You can't say no. *laughs*)

THE PACKAGE
Wow I'm left with 10 mins, so let's do this quick. Firstly, whatever is above may not last, so here's it again.
And why did I not review that single which is limited edition and from four years ago? Long story short, I noticed I was wrong by the time I ordered it, but suffice it to say it didn't violate the rules I set up to give releases, which is not giving new instrumentals, so this one gets to pass. It's kind of cheating too to buy a Tower Record limited release from Amazon Japan (you can check that for Mikakoshi's new single too), but hey, I got it, so it's over as far as I'm concerned. If you need a memory of Sambomaster's single back in 2012, here you go.
Moving on to Mikakoshi, and yes, I wanted a free gift quite bad. Toranoana never gave promise on such stuff, and seeing it's been three weeks after initial release I don't want to try my luck (the last time I did with TrySail's 2nd single I got nothing *sob*) so I went with Amazon instead. It delivered quick, I wasn't at home, and yeah, I promised myself I'd push this on the day I got it just now after dinner haha. As you can see, inside is pretty clean (and empty lol) and it's just more of her. Hey, you may not like it, but I do. You may think it's too little, but I'm satisfied with music. All in all, I'll take it. The company isn't the worst I've seen anyway, even though there are better packaging out there, in case you aren't aware.

That's it. I still got school tomorrow, and I need a lot of sleep like a baby (lol), so good night. I'll be thinking a lot of Mikakoshi I swear. I want the new nano.RIPE album though... (Cya)

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #42

Oh I didn't put in an introduction? You know I don't give a **** about it liao right?? Oh well what the heck. Another week another whatever so let's get started. Anime is more interesting than this paragraph seriously lol

アニメ
ANIME
Sangatsu no Lion: Okay, if three episodes and they don't focus mainly on Shougi, then I'll watch this.
Why so? First episode (1) impressions are great, so great I want to continue watching. Unfortunately, there is a problem. This show focuses on Kiriyama Rei, a kid who apparently won a Shougi match and became a pro, apparently beaten his dad who is likely also a pro, and has been staying away from his family for some reason. A lot of these things had us to believe that he is depressed all the time, which I guess is not surprising. Luckily, he is blessed with knowing the Kawamoto family and the three sisters, and I must say my motivation of watching this show is no doubt from these three girls. Okay, and the cats which cannot stop talking lol. Overall the first episode brings of a slice-of-life drama waiting for be unveiled, and I want to give this show a chance. Problem is I don't even know in that one match Rei played today whether he won or not. Yeah, you know. I don't play Shougi. But for the rest of the show I might just watch it, really. It sets the light-hearted mood, it's funny sometimes (actually more than that), and it's well-driven by the story. Forced maybe the sisters, but the story of this show isn't. Now I know why the original manga was an award piece. If only a Japanese chess game didn't stop between me giving this show a thumbs up...
With granddaughters this cute, it's no wonder the old man is grinning end to end haha
#canthelpbut
P.S. Kana-chan for best girl of possibly this show. Her hyper-activeness is beaming right into me haha. Also the accompanying female-driven sound effects are really awesome.

Bungou Stray Dogs: Wow, what an episode. And here I thought this small arc is ending already.
Guess what? It isn't, and for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we know of the truth. That Mimic is fierce in keeping mum about their workings, even if Dazai tried an elaborate plot on them. Akutagawa had to interfere but that was just him being noob lol. Then again there is a trace, and it was a trap. Odasaku (thanks to Dazai I only remember Oda-kun haha) was hurried to check what happened in the building Dazai found a trace to, and walked right into a trap, or two. Ango got saved, but Odasaku didn't. I'll leave it you to watch the episode (14), but suffice it to say everything Ango said was the truth. He wasn't wrong about spying, about the Port Mafia boss being the only one of the organisation to know about it (I mean, until Odasaku was notified about it), but he was wrong about taking sides. So likely Ango was at the other side now, and the boss also knew of it, but sent Odasaku to find out what happened, and yeah, he was pretty much the bait. Or maybe a little less of it if it weren't his impatience for Dazai's team to appear. Oh well, easy way to get rid of the last of information left by the secret group, but it seems there's more to come. Former soldiers with abilities? I mean, the military today don't have that kind of advantage man. Good thing the author didn't intend to summon Dazai every single time a fighting starts haha
Just because Odasaku can predict seconds into the future.
Just because Ango knew of it and set a trap just for him.
(Spoiler: This part wasn't the end yet)
WWW.WORKING!!: Nice. Nice episode. In this show they are not shy about romances, huh. We shall see.
The new episode (3) brings us a lot more development than I can desire for this show. But then, it's fun, isn't it? They start with a test of courage. Oh, and did I mention there's a... man I don't even know how to describe her. I guess she's still alive? Just very close to death? Whatever. This new character is a spirit, and along with Higashida's newly introduced classmate (at least to us) Nagata-san we got our final pair of characters. Then they throw most of the cast - like, literally, they got Shiho's guards to throw them in - into the middle of a forest (it was Kouno's idea WTF) (probably sponsored by Shiho WTFx2) so they can get scared? Hey the pairings are naturally mutual too, besides the part where money is involved lolol. Otherwise, we got a good insight about most of the cast, and for most of the time it scared the guys more than the girls lol. All in all this is a wonderful episode. With new classmates introduced, a little more about Miyakoshi's parents in the past *lick* and a whole lot more misunderstandings in between... I'm going to like what's happening next. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
P.S. Adachi and Sayuri-chan for best couple, yes? Hey, I like the underdog romances here, if you don't mind me bossing about it haha
P.P.S. I guess licking lollies maybe too normal, so I got another image lol
Man, this ghost girl sticks out like a carrot at night haha

漫画
MANGA
Koufuku Graffiti: It's been some time, the manga itself has also officially ended, but I'm far from finishing it. Well, at least, not me. We're at summer, where the girls are in summer school so they did not get to enjoy the festivals and everything else within it besides tests. But then Shiina brought the two girls to her house, welcomed by her super-cute mother, and assisted by the Shiina-look-alike Tsuyuko-san they had some nagashisoumen, and if you don't know what's that Anime Nichijou taught me well haha. Otherwise, you'd be pleased to know Kirin absolutely enjoyed herself in this small festival, and it all ready to tackle schoolwork! Yay for her really.
Hey if you have a big enough (farm) house, don't forget to bring over your friends once in a while haha
On a side note, Makoto-sensei has finished this manga, and if I'm not wrong is set to release a photobook series of her own drawing soon. Check out the Twitter account for some great artwork.

This Week on Klassic Note
The days are grim in the progression of Klassic Note Hey it's been another week, and... (Audience: Was that on purpose?) (What do you think?) I kind of failed to pick up the pace of getting new songs. But hey, there is progression. Mikakoshi's new single finally got into review, and I'm real tempted at one point to give the single. But I didn't. Maybe I should. It gets to stay in my mind for another week. I also took the liberty to listen to eufonius' new album, one of their releases once again and it was still rather disappointing. On the other hand, amazarashi's new mini-album was quite good, so I gave two instead of one. You can find the topic song music video online, I promise you. *wink* Also, we're a step closer to this season Anime's theme songs, starting with SCREEN mode amongst many others by the end of the month.

Next week though, brings us the next best thing I've been waiting for the year, and that is nano.RIPE's new album. I hope to not be disappointed. At least I wish so. A little more worry is placed on Satou Satomi's new single which I haven't gotten a listen yet, and even if I did I may not be impressed going from the previews I heard recently. Oh well, when it comes out I'll give a chance. On other things, November is going to be great for many releases to... release? And yeah, Ayachi's new topic song sounds surprisingly good. Hmm my tastes are changing...

This is it then. I'm really not in the mood for this. Probably will have more of a mood next week when a lot of stuff next week ends. I'm also considering how to continue this in the new year because I'll be spending five of seven days a week staring at the monitor. Also, playing of Mafia III. Oh well, when time comes I'll think about it. Or I could finish the game before next year. I'll see for it myself. Although I would like to continue writing of APoL someday. Really. I have myself to answer someday.
