The Klassic Note Review 2016.05 Issue 2

Hey. It's been some time. This week I'll be focusing on my recent orders, but then again due to reasons that I might as well not elaborate (goddamn forwarding services lol) I shall review them separately. Yes. Both are from the same artist TrySail. But first up, we shall review one that has been out there three months already, but has only recently been on the list. Read more to know why, and more.

音楽 The Klassic Note Review
TrySail - whiz [Single]
Limited Edition Anime Limited Edition Regular Edition
(Honestly I like close-ups, but not as close as the Anime Edition one lol. And yes, the incomplete white border was dumb because it doesn't have symmetry to the booklet or the back of the case)

Origin: I think here at least, we're not unfamiliar with TrySail. I have done two single reviews already, and recently just last week they have released their first full album (which is not the other release I'm going to review anyway) and it wasn't bad. But then if their singles are great then that's enough. Because it'll be on my shelf anyways. Their 3rd single is also Anime credited, and the single itself, considering three months ago and when I got it now... I think it's a good release. Hey, cute girls singing cute songs... what more do you want?

(1) whiz
This. The deal breaker. Hey, if you don't like cute songs then this might not be for you. Otherwise, bask in the awesomeness that is in this pop melody, and man the chorus is real addicting. Well, at least, back in three months ago. I haven't heard any preview of it before that, and first impressions are great and more than positive, which is good. The music video stars them in a (CG) world of cakes and them making it, which makes of great fanservice compared to the previous MV. Seriously, if you can still recall. The song overall is great, and I have no comments about the bridge part of the song, and that means this is a must-listen.
Rating: 4 stars (Cutely Above Average)

(2) Baby My Step
Yes, this was the one that stopped me from giving this release back then in February. I don't remember much of reason why I didn't give it, but according to 2.99 Stars Survey (the one for last year is around somewhere) I quote from myself "about half the song I do not like", which serves as good reason to give up the song entirely. But then maybe it's because of the many "babies" there are in the chorus that is deterring me away, or maybe it's listening it again and giving it with context to their album is making this sound better than usual. And yes, I have heard this a couple more times than I have to. But still, this is a decent song, and it's more fanservice in the lyrics compared to the previous single (and that's good hehe), so I shouldn't complain. Time does make songs sound good, yes?
Rating: 4 stars (Very Cutely Average)

Conclusion: Overall this release is an expected now, because I regret not giving it three months ago. I cannot think of a barrier that will stop you listening to three girls singing these cute songs, so don't restrain yourself like I do and just give them a chance, yes? I'm hooked to the B-side too right now, and I can see them making of great songs to sing in live performances which we will no doubt be able to see more soon now their album is out and the Anime festivals are clearly slated for the second half of the year. Take a listen to... listen for yourself. *laughs*

THE PACKAGE
I guess this is as much as I can expect, huh. Lol I guess considering I've been doing this for like, four years and counting already. But inside the booklet is something more interesting than just what's on the surface.
Boom! The good: the longest booklet image I can find ever. Well, even though it's like three, but this looks great, isn't it? But then, the bad: the lyrics when you close it up, which surprisingly looks bad due to bad colour contrast and very small font. Seriously. I'm squinting in order to read the lyrics to fast-paced songs. It's so small, I doubt you can see anything else but a white piece of paper in this image below.

That's it for today. Likely by the weekend I'll  get my hands on (you guessed it) their latest single which took a longer way round (the above was from HMV Japan, which has direct mail services) so I'll have to wait. I thought I could clear them by the month, but looks like you guys will get another review from me some time soon, I guess. Cya guys soon, and until then... don't lick my images, yes?

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #22

Hey, another week, another set of new content. Ah, what a time to live in. I bet people in the past are like, "What's the next feature opera performance?" or something lol. I don't think I know World History very well. *shame*

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: For once, I thought I was watching some school slice-of-life romance Anime again. Oh, I'm not? Thank goodness.
Anyways, the episode is split into two. The future of the students, and what they did for their (supposedly last) Valentine's Day. Many got it easy, others got it rough. Thanks Karasuma for ending the episode well, and thanks Kayano for offering the scantily-clad Yukimura-sensei only at a time where they aren't going to kill the octopus lol. The end is near, we know a lot more then we should (like, the author literally told Elena to list out all the possibilities of the future), but going by the author's style, he might just only choose one ending. And that is likely happiness. Unless I'm expecting to watch another Attack on Titans story, this one should end well. And I'm hyped for it. Four more episodes to go (I think), and we shall see who is still trying their last efforts to kill the time bomb.
Bungou Stray Dogs: Nice episode, I must say. We finally got to see another of the antagonists in this story, and she is a kid. Bad thing is (spoiler alert) that she managed to get Dazai to the Port Mafia, so that's bad news for that guy. Other than that, we're met with a suicide bomber, who's ability is just to use I guess super controlled grenades to blast sh*t up? (Because seriously, the train isn't blown into pieces yet, surprisingly) Nonetheless, we finally learnt of Yosano-sensei (I guess I don't want to be ripped apart so I'll say it formally lol) who's ability in this case is to heal. But only heal serious injury, which of course sounds like a thing that the author can use to save anyone if necessary. (Lol author schemes) That also says a lot about how Tanizaki got healed so well because he *** ****** ** four times? Haha good to see he is well because his ability is useful nonetheless, and also controlled, because not everyone's powers can be summoned at will. Like, Atsushi can only do partial for now, and that girl Kyouka can do none. Yes Akutagawa, people's minds can be changed. Let's see how next episode.
P.S. The girl is going to be a great addition to the story. Just hope she doesn't die like, the next episode. Also, no one else in the Agency knows of Dazai's disappearance. Especially when it's related to her. Oops.

漫画
MANGA
Kuroshitsuji: Yeah, plot twist! Okay, the general story first. The Earl got in touch with Nina, well known for her fashion style she dons on the Phantomhive family (besides the butler), and also for the event itself. So yes of course Ciel will dump Sebastian with her in hopes of getting to Bravat and supposedly the people of the star signs, I assume. What's surprising is guarding the doors after Sebastian went in is Elizabeth?? Wait, so she's here to protect the people? For what reason? And it cannot only be her right? If you recall she belongs to a female noble family, which also means Sebastian may be in a lot of trouble. What kind, I don't know. But what I may know is that this girl is not hypnotised by anything. Yet.
BLEACH: Well, we're all buying time, but Ichigo has done it. Rising in ranks for being the most varied hybrid being in all of the fictional worlds, I don't even know if Ichigo is using his Quincy or Hollow powers or Shingami powers or whatever else he has up his sleeve. But then we are reminded of the power of The Almighty, that is shared between two people in day and night. So yeah, the future can be changed, but so what? Apparently there's more coming from the right-hand man, but Ishida may not live to see it, I guess.

This Week on Klassic Note
Hey, after so long of us talking about TrySail (supposedly) and Miyawaki Shion (because I chose to talk less to I can talk about it this week), their long-awaited album releases are out. TrySail's 1st album wasn't disappointing besides for those technopop styles, but then again I never give those songs anyway and the melodies aren't that great... nonetheless, I gave a couple of them. And they are both featured in the music video making FYI. Miyawaki Shion's new mini-album of expected list of songs (well because the new topic song also had a music video online) but to much review from me, won't have the privilege to be on my shelf, mainly due to the reason below.

Yeah, I blame that one guy. You dragged quality down, bro. *laughs* Also, TrySail's latest single(s) got approved, so I will try to review them by the end of the month. That is, if I can get the other one by Tuesday. We shall see. Chances now are not likely, and I'll probably do it next month.

Next week brings... nothing. Bad news for me, good news for those indie artists because I'm likely taking my chances against them again in search for fresh new songs. RO69JACK has released the new list of artists moving on for their chance to perform in one of the biggest rock festivals in Japan, and I think I can listen to a couple of them.

That's it then. I've been spending a lot of time building terrible buildings in isometric theme park simulator Parkitect, and they mostly look like desserts lol. Cya guys next week then, and until then, stay by for some review soon, and maybe APoL? No promises yet, but I aim to finish two chapters. And planning has been going well. Yeah, I'm lazy to type. Even this.

[P.S.: You don't know how great I feel whenever I look at my phone screen with Tomacchan.

Next week is Kana-chan again, and TrySail is in lineup. The next month is going to be interesting.]

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #21

I'm disappointed. From music deprivation. More below. I hope you had a great week, listening to music you've given like, two years ago lol

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: Following the announcement of the new Call of Duty game, I'm naming this latest episode "Assassination Classroom: Infinite Assassinations"!! LOL
Anyways, the episode. It's not far-fetched to call the space trip ridiculous, but then it is. Okay, that aside, they did manage to get the relevant data, and for once Ritsu is happy. The process is as preposterous as it sounds, but yes many thing are factual. For example, if you don't know how many things get destroyed just from one space liftoff? Yeah, that's a budget that will suck. Then again the astronauts are surprised at Karma and Nagisa's abilities (man, they know nothing about them at all lol), and they had a blast when they are up there, somehow. The result? Somehow the class has seen this substance that can be used to cure the octopus before, and thus is easy to make. That's it. Now what? From the class, to Nagisa, he says that the assassination will still continue, and even then, the teacher has 1% of explosion, which is as good as it gets. That is good news, but we have like, a lot more episodes left, so I wonder what's going to fill up the blanks. The principal? The rest of the world? Only next episode will tell us then. I'm hyped.
Bungou Stray Dogs: What an interesting episode. I'll be glad if this isn't Manga material, but still.
This episode, it links up. I know many people including me will not be removing the fact that the lady who is with Dazai has nothing to do with this crime, and it turns out (spoiler alert) it does. She was the beloved of the Azure King, disguised as a "Messenger", to threaten the Agency for their doings, and somehow, it's directed at Kunikida-kun. Surprisingly, many people are tied in as well, including Port Mafia to guard the location to not let the Agency defuse the bomb. Little did the woman know that the partner team is excellent (all they needed to do was to switch opponents, even I know that), and there were more than one person who wanted to know the truth. Rokuzou, didn't expect you to still have the breath to pull the trigger. Nonetheless, another mystery is solved, but it still makes us wonder about some things. How Dazai knew about contacting the Azure Messenger, why Port Mafia didn't send more to guard the key, and many more.
P.S. Kunikida-kun's notebook is ideally awesome. And yes, as I've read the Wiki it's finally revealed clearly that he can recreate anything he has seen, and thus, can recreate the broken key that is needed to defuse the bomb. The numbers guy, on the other hand, is not cool. Which explains how the interrogated can just die without much effort. Man, remote actions are sly. Too sly.
P.P.S. I have a feeling this is Anime filler content, as I've seen the Manga. You have been informed.

漫画
MANGA
Nagasarete Airantou: From like what seems like forever, the latest (scanned) chapter is out. And... I forgot what happened last time. In general, it's solving one of Beniyasha's mysteries in the island again (cleverly disguised by some mother), and with a bunch of scrolls they apparently are out to test the vocabulary of the villagers... and make Ikuto's nose bleed. Otherwise, we're not even close to capturing that evil-doer, as (what's her name) someone else is peeking behind the bushes to be backup...?
A Channel: Oh yeah, the dating thing. If you guys recalled, Kitou-sensei and Satou-sensei are out dating. Well, sort of. But then the rumour has spread well in the school, and other than that they get closer together, where Kitou-sensei got asked to stay to kill flies lol. Anyways, she is getting ever close to him, and yeah, cooking for everyone is NOT a solution. No, people will just notice you giving to Satou-sensei, Kitou-sensei.
P.S. Run-chan's forehead likely scored 100 points, and she slept in the closet keeping the futon again lol
BLEACH: Well that's a whole lot of text. About fighting, about finding oneself. Well, because Kubo doesn't want to kill the main guy yet, and because Ishida has to deal with all this fighting that he cannot even settle down in his life. Lol, references and jokes aside, Renji and Rukia are likely to join the fight sometime soon (maybe to save Ishida first though), but more interesting characters appear. Cue Ishida and Kurosaki. Yes, the fathers. And they have entered the fray, somewhat form that grandfather. Remember? Uryu's grandfather? Brings back good times. But still, this is interesting, as we can finally know of secrets and techniques we have NEVER seen in this series thus far. They both have a lot to teach their kids BTW

Nothing. Zilch. Literally. But then again I've been listening. I've not seen cinema staff's new album yet (is it that bad??) (and don't ask me why, on both reasons), and I've not given new songs from last week. I've forgotten to give Cocoro Auction's new mini-album too, but then again it's also tough to just get a listen of it. But oh well, at least I got enough of Anime and Manga to be happy about. And I'm trying to find new songs. Just, not now. Now is not a good time, apparently.

Next week finally brings a couple of new releases including TrySail's 1st album and finally I can give a listen to Miyawaki Shion's new mini-album after a long wait for the Anime's ending theme song. I'm still considering for Aimer and TrySail from last week it seems, and I think I may not even give them at all. Fingers crossed. Almost every week.

That's it then. Until next time... I have that desperation to write APoL the moment I think of stories of real life in general (including reading the news), so it may come to me soon. I'm still far from finishing that Android Studio lesson I forked out money for, so that'll take some time. And maybe after this I'll go the one provided by Android Developers to see if they are any different. Besides, it's free. *laughs* Cya guys next week.

[P.S.: Kana-chan. And not her selfie, because someone took it for her. Whoever that asshole is.. thanks.
Next week? I'm quite addicted to Aki-chan's new photobook cover right now, but then it's likely in order. Tomacchan will be next.]

The Twitter Phenomena Part II

Yes, take it as the next level after I was shocked that yucat replied to my Tweet because she was like, stalking me or Twitter or something.

Recent weeks brought about me listening to indie artists, and hell yeah they are very free. Besides metro polica (if you could remember, the vocalist is still checking if I'm mentioning NOT their latest song or not haha) vocalist we have more, for example if you noticed Entertainment News in recent weeks I mentioned about Light Palette's Twitter account replying in somewhat broken English, but damn I appreciate it still. Also, my first reply to a band. Damn, there are a lot of firsts.

Just this morning I woke up to the biggest one yet: spike in followers. As you guys know, if there are followers in my @KlassicNote account means either people are lost or it's just a one-hit wonder from some Tweet or it's the bands actually following me to show me as fan support. Very common. Not so common is the fact that I've been stalked by all of the members. Seriously? Who in the band is like:

"Hey guys, this guy mentioned our new song. Let's all like his Tweet!"

Of course it's not like that, but still.

This is more than just spam, guys. This is a following. Just like how yucat is not a band or she'll get all her fellow band members to do so lol. Anyways, I thank all artists for the support, because the only reason I'm doing Twitter is just to share my opinion about what songs I'm listening to, and more importantly, for Song of the Day in the yearly Song Awards, if no one has known of it yet.

Refer to the official website for more details. *wink*

That's all I want to say. I don't deserve this much anyway. Even though a part of my mind wants to be famous just... not spending money and listening to Japanese tunes and promoting them. Okay, I'm stopping here. Cya guys next time. And probably by then, I'll be too well-known I won't have to show it off here haha

[P.S.: Should I do this in Japanese?

...

Okay, maybe not]

[P.P.S.: Yes if you noticed the Tweet I did before this blog post I am waiting for three of them to do it again MUAHAHAHA]

[Update: 2 hours after I mentioned I'm posting another... You guys know of the Ripple Effect? Like, that thing's got 5 likes now.]

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #20

I think I should stop doing an intro. I do best in explaining the status of my life after I've talked about what's awesome about it. *sob*

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: EPIC FIGHT, as they say, must happen. Funny, how it ends depends very strongly in their relationship, considering how much they have been together until Nagisa got scared of how violent Karma is. I mean, it's goddamn third year already, and we're here all wanting to kill an octopus, so yeah. But then Karma decided to give in for he remembers Nagisa's effort for trying, even if he is weak in combat against him. Oh well, I guess the author has an answer, so I'll take it. Surprisingly, Karasuma-sensei wants them to find a method to save the teacher within a month. Will it be possible? Quite unlikely, but then there is the process. And we're still far from finishing this show. So yeah, looking forward to those then. I'll also be waiting the day Nagisa kills the octopus, even though I've not seen any spoilers. If I'm correct please don't tell me haha
P.S. Next episode: The 3-E Class in OUTER SPACE! WTF is wrong with this show...
Bungou Stray Dogs: This show is nice to watch, seriously. Comedy, action, everything.
Okay, today's episode maybe quite heavily focused on Kunikida-kun himself, but then again the show is about to unfold itself. He knows himself a lot of informants in order to keep his business around, and one of them is this handy taxi driver. Think GTA IV's Muhammed for example. But then again it's also because of the driver's background - that he gave up his job as an actor because it was not profitable - that got him into the trouble of being the culprit to this serial kidnapping case, what's more one victim involving Port Mafia. I don't want to think of that girl from where Akutagawa was with back in episode three, but then even if it is the guy's here to rip sh*t anyway. So yeah, some action, some ladies (man Dazai is totally right about her being sexy lol) (the power of words on lack of clothing is awesome), and a whole lot of mystery involving an ex-terrorist. He may not be as lucky as an undead (*wink* Achmed *wink*), but his Messenger is sure alive. So next episode they have to intentionally set up a bomb to blow it up at a certain location? I mean, it's shady as hell, and considering Kunikida went in the news (which is likely the Messenger's doing than the taxi driver) it seems impossible to avoid. We shall see.
P.S. I think I know who's the Azure Messenger as mentioned above. That hacker the stepfather is trying to protect. Very suspicious. Also, that girl Dazai had a night with. *laughs*

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Eh... all but the end I don't get it. Well, Renji and Rukia has an illusion that they are fighting enemies against Hitsugaya's brother (lolol), that Quincy leader decides not to use his foretelling skills to kill his supposed son, and he is now releasing his I-don't-know-what power to prevent his son from leaving. Okay, whatever, Kubo. Please make this good. And more importantly, make his logical. It still sounds a little hazy right now...
Bungou Stray Dogs: Caught up with a couple of chapters till the episode with the awesome Ranpo-san and his NOT ability user powers, but then I didn't stop there for this reason only. Also, next chapter involves character I do not see in the Anime. Oops. That also means I may have to stop from here. Which is fine. The next time I'll read it is probably the end of the year then haha
Note to self: Stopped at Chapter 6. Man, their chapters are very packed.

This Week on Klassic Note
This, is a famous image of a supernova. Just Googled it a while ago. And yes, it's also in Aimer's latest music video. By the way, this image, not from the video.
Okay, jokes aside, this week brings quite a lot of releases, apart from the stuff I decided to give second chances to. Aimer's latest single with EGOIST's chelly is one of them for the month, but then it isn't that bad. I never missed her style because she started her debut single on BLEACH conventional pop and not this, so this is just... one of those I took a liking to. Don't get me wrong; I did give her previous releases chances. At least twice. I can even tell you specifically which ones.

Besides that, we have the expected reviews. TrySail's 4th single is surprisingly good, and I'm still thinking of whether to give the B-side. (The music video, still better than Aimer, haha.) This decision can go on for so long because I'm guaranteed the First Press Release for this and their previous single which released three months ago online, so yeah, I intend to take forever. Or even until when their album releases in two weeks. LuckLife's major debut single for Anime "Bungou Stray Dogs" isn't that bad, but not good enough for me to actually give anything, I guess. Sometimes, Anime produced songs bring out the best of a band, haha. (ie. Without them they aren't that fabulous, I think) SpecialThanks new mini-album came in late for the week, but I did manage to listen to it over the weekend. Both topic songs which have music videos (go ahead to check my YouTube playlist for both of them) are on my list, and otherwise... I guess not. Man, giving chances to SpecialThanks running this melodic punk style is hard. Recall MINAMI NiNE. Very similar. And Misaki-chan's English is real bad. Her Japanese though is sweet! *silence* Did I just... make a pun there? (Audience: You most definitely did!)

For next week, I'm slightly ahead to give Porno Graffitti's new single for now (yes, their name is unheard of in this blog) and even earlier, Miyawaki Shion's mini-album, both released at the last week of the month in two weeks time. Otherwise, I'm excited for cinema staff's new album next week, and I haven't had a chance to give Cocoro Auction a new song yet. Maybe I should. *looks above paragraph* The vocals ratio is going to topple to one side yet again.

Yeah, that's about it. I'm stunned by many songs this week, and I'm still in thinking. Of many things. Other than music. So... yeah. Cya guys next time, and until then... Anyone here playing GTA Online like, every other day? I don't mind being your Social Club friend~

[P.S.: Nothing but schoolgirl Tomacchan for the week. Best.
What's better, you ask? Kana-chan's Twitter image on my phone. What's even better? You guys saw the special gift images for her latest single? My heart's on Toranoana (3rd one), but my body's on her in the water. You know which one. Haha.]

[P.P.S. Because Ten-chan wrote in her blog, I decided to see what she was referring to in her group's latest music video. At "0:43" she refers to Mocho tilting her head back whilst singing, and at "4:19" she was referring to the close-up on Nan-chan touching her hair. Both are great but Ten-chan, what about you? Oh yeah, it's at "2:19", where she back faces us. Last paragraph. You're welcome.

...

Okay, there you go. Images. (Audience: Yay!) No GIFs though. Or maybe I should. For myself. Anyways Ten-chan. I get those feminine stuff. Don't think I missed them. I'm referring to your blog.]

You may think it's a smart question, but to others they just don't want to reply a stupid answer.

You know. Human thinking. Think twice when you ask people something too, whether they are "smart" or not. But then again it's all about understanding, enlightenment and education, so asking never hurts yourself. People who offend you hurt you, yes?

The Klassic Note Review 2016.05 Issue 1 (The Package)

Remember I promised about a month ago that I'd show you guys what the Ikimonogakari 10th year best compilation is like inside? Well, here we are.

THE PACKAGE
And yes, I opened it. Firstly, I noticed the booklet. It's thick. And other than that, it's not stapled. Which means I cannot scan any of the pages visibly enough for you guys to see. Suffice it to say every one of the animals constitute to one song for a list of images spreading three discs, and some snippets of the members playing around with astronaut outfits and safari outfits. Yes, I said "safari".

Of course, the CD isn't the only thing in this purchase. As I have mentioned some time ago if you remember, I went for the special Lawson Edition with some... extra goods, which, for some reason that I don't want to mention, I gave them to my sis, who is also a fan of this group. Yeah, probably also the ONLY one we have in common interest. Anyways, it consists of a towel very common in live performances as goods, and some bag. Yes, other than the CD. It costs... about 8 bucks more in my calculations, so I guess it's worth it. I mean, I NEVER went to any of their lives...
I'm reviewing the 3CD version, by the way.
(Image shows both versions + towel + "vinyl purse bag")
And here it is in all its glory: (from top to bottom - towel, the purse bag, CD)
And then the review. I only focused on the new songs I enlisted into Klassic Note, and overall it's a nice experience. I mean, you cannot get any better than having the product itself. *laughs* And halfway through I sort of forgot that the first image I took probably will not include what the Ikimono card (if anyone is familiar, comes with any First Press Release ie. if you pre-order you'll definitely get it) is behind the all so familiar image of them in astronaut suits. So I flipped the card around and here it is.
Zoomed in:
"Thanks for 10 years!!!"
You're welcome, Kiyoe-san, Mizuno-kun and Hotaka-san. You guys are awesome. And thanks to BLEACH, you have become part of the spirit that is Klassic Note.

"Android Studio vs APoL: The Great Battle"

I'm just thinking of what to do for next week. Too lazy to do both, and want to do at least one of them. *sigh* Such is life. (Audience: Or "No Life".) Yeah, I know. This weekly post is evidence of my character. Let's move on.

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: And they are left a couple of months and now what... Civil war??
Hmm, it seems Nagisa's plan to save Koro-sensei isn't going well with the class, and it is to be expected due to the nature of reasons that will arise from just thinking of whether to kill or not kill that octopus. (Personally, I'd still kill him because it's tough to protect a fugitive from the society even if he can be saved.) So yes, two camps have appeared (unsurprisingly split in half) (as half as possible) (that Ritsu AI still got to vote?), and that octopus has decided to make the class unified by killing each other. Hell yeah it's exciting, but then I guess it's an important process to bring them back on their track. It's "Assassination Classroom" anyway. Everyone's been "killed" one way or another, and it's left to the biggest enemies and greatest fighters Karma and Nagisa. Man, I wished it would end this episode, but that also means next week's will be great. I cannot wait.
Bungou Stray Dogs: Haha I had a great laugh. Today we talk about Edogawa Ranpo-san. And if you need an introduction or if you have NEVER watched Ranpo Kitan from last year (please help yourself to it; it was a great show celebrating the author's 50th death anniversary), this guy (and also if you read the Manga review I did a while ago) is a famous detective series author, and yes he specialises in writing detective cases. This is also a tribute to the person himself, and yes so does the guy in this show. He apparently is an ability user who can deduce crimes faster than anyone in the police can do, but not without a special condition. His glasses. (Audience: Hey quit the bullsh*ting already we know the answer) Yeah, he's not an ability user. The point the good side of ability users lies in a detective agency is also due to him, as he can deduce crimes even with the smallest of clues, as mentioned by Dazai. Dazai is smart too, being able to see through most of the crime, but I guess that's what makes Ranpo here special: He is just good. *salutes* The author of this show really gave this famous author its due respect and power man. I salute to both of them.
P.S. First thing that came to my mind when I hear someone got caught drifting in the river, and yes, if I'm the superintendent I've already ordered my troops to capture Dazai as a suspect first haha

BLEACH: Okay, so that I do not get it wrong, it just got morning?
So this chapter, after the awesome attack from the shinigami, of course they should know of the fundamental "miracle" that is common sense, where the Quincy can just absorb spiritual particles so long as they are alive. Yes, that jerk is still alive. And now, we see the next morning arrive, which of course means the power levels of two people will change if you can recall, as Ishida has not killed the leader of the night at his strongest and Ichigo is going to meet his death lol. Fingers crossed.

This Week on Klassic Note
Oh, I was so enjoying my solo karaoke session at home. (See, such a loner *points to self*) Thanks to a couple of HDMI cables and Joysound app for Android for this. Even though I'm not in Japan to have this for free (region restricted apparently), but still.
This one's for you, Inori-chan. #thelife
And yes, as expected of myself from last week, I decided to venture to Audioleaf (first), if you guys would remember, is infamous in Klassic Note of creating miracles of importing new songs from indie artists into my list of songs. And yes, there is a result. In fact, two. A couple more artists have came under my microscope, namely titilulu and Light Palette, both participated in a indie live artist event RO69JACK hosted by ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL to promote indie artists. The latter artist participated in this year's event, so when you read this post you still have roughly about... 23 hours left to vote. (That big orange button) No restrictions, no registering. Once per device (I have three lol), and as many artists as you want. And yes, piqued by curiosity I managed to scour a couple more artists who are waiting for me to vote them so they get an increased chance for performing at a large stage. As I say, it may not be our business, but them getting famous just buy clicking a button... hey, I'll do it. And you should too.

The other one came a longer route, this time from Skream. (Man, if you have no idea what I'm talking about please Google them for goodness sake) (or checking out the Twitter page would do) The Floor - and I'm not joking about the name - released a new song and also their first album and their latest music video... isn't as fascinating as their first music video for their debut single. Seriously. They are this-year new, so go check them out. Them and titilulu's music videos are added to my YouTube playlist, so feel free to take a listen. As for Light Palette... here you go.

Man, I feel like a music promoter. Even though I'm not. Thanks for the recognition anyway. *laughs* I'm still in consideration of another artist I heard over the weekend (*wink* chocol8 syndrome *wink*) so I'll talk about it next week.

Talking about next week, we have TrySail's 4th single in view of their first album by the end of the month, SpecialThanks and their new mini-album (let's see if I can give an English song this time round) along with Luck Life's new single for the Anime above are due next week, THE ORAL CIGARETTES' new music video isn't impressive at all (reminded me of a song in their latest album which I REJECTED), and cinema staff's new music video is awesome as usual. Tsuzuri Zukuri's new scientific music video isn't great, and if you haven't voted for VELTPUNCH's new song for their again major debut album then please help yourself.

Wow, so many things. But that is all, actually. Hopefully with this much things to do I'll be motivated to continue what I set out to do this holiday season so my sense of fulfilment can drown out the fact that... I'm actually not finding a part-time job over these three months lol. Cya guys next week, and until next time... music is life, people. Get a life, yes?

[P.S.: Kana-chan this week is good enough.

Next week it's Tomacchan holding a pen and dressing up like she was sixteen. Something for you guys to think about until next week haha]

[P.P.S.: Aki-chan's self-drawn LINE stickers are too cute. Not so much for the other two I know of lol. Makes me want to open a LINE account after I (supposedly) scraped one last year.]

It's only when you know what you like will you then know what you dislike, and vice versa.

I'm not trying to be racist here, but this applies to all out biases, including mine. But then again unless it gets to you, you shouldn't be bothered with it. Like assholes wanting to take over the world or call someone a dumb b*tch. Whatever. Do what you like, people.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #18

Well, it's over. And for this long break yet again, I have a plan. Hmm, not an annual phenomenon from me, I know, but I do, so let's do it, yes?

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: Wow. I like to be surprised every episode, for this is the end. The truth is out, it seems, and the class is shocked. Now we know what destroyed 70% of the moon (some stupid antimatter-injected mouse), what made Koro-sensei make his claim about "destroying the Earth within a year" (because that's how long the antimatter in him will last before he blows up the planet), and he has never intended to do bad the moment he learned from Aguri, who was with him for the year in the lab. Here, there's your summary. Cya guys next week.

No! I mean, I'm not done yet lol.
Seriously, what an episode. We've gotten this far. And knowing the truth, the class now do not know how to deal with it. Somehow the rest of the world, but that we don't care, yes? Still, this is a problem. So amongst all this worry about not killing the "octopus" or even putting everything fun aside and actually getting rid of him (Man, Bitch-sensei has gotten through a lot lol), Nagisa has a plan, just like how he dealt with Kayano haha. And yes, he has a plan, and it's to save the Reaper. Hmm... will it be possible? No, not until graduation, believe me. On the other hand, there may be a way if they know of it, and it will be the biggest tentacle-pulling operation yet. Serious. And this, I'm looking forward to. A happy ending of course. But then again, it may be at his deathbed.

Please don't. Make it end well.

Bungou Stray Dogs: Hmm... not the most action-packed of episodes, but fine by me though. We learn of the prowess of the Port Mafia having a relentless army of men who just... use machine guns to aim at anyone they have to kill. That's pretty much it. We were also introduced three new leaders and also ability users, but it doesn't reveal much. All I know of is someday that old man will know how to use the door knob to open doors lol. Anyways, funny why Akutagawa isn't dispatched (by that dumb b*tch) to get Atsushi while the Agency is being attacked, and where the heck is Dazai? Is he the most useless guy in the office? Or he's just enjoying himself as a part-time flirt? All of that hopefully revealed soon, but next episode we get some Kamiya Hiroshi exclusive (yes the character he plays in), as the Agency tries to solve some REAL crimes. Yes, Edogawa Ranpo, an author famous for his detective stories, is on the case.
P.S. I wish I get to see an omake scene where that old man hold his palm to the door and suddenly opens the door knob or starts picking the lock hahaha

This Week on Klassic Note
Eh... since it's kind of exam week, so I didn't have much time to get new songs, and I've heard quite a lot this weekend too. yanaginagi's new album isn't impressive at all, but nonetheless for the wonderful singing I just took the topic song. Kuso Iinkai's new single isn't great either, and I mean it sounds like a rip-off from their recent album. But then again I still took one from there anyway. fhana's new album is quite disappointing too, and I mean it's not good. I'm holding that for another week, but I guess I may just end up with just one song too. SECONDWALL's new mini-album (I only knew that recently) isn't as great as the previous album as they have a drama tie-up, which typically makes artists become very suppressive in terms of their style. I've got three more weeks to think of whether I should get Miyawaki Shion's new mini-album due the end of the month, and I'm still listening to Minase Iori's 2nd single. (Audience: Who?) Another seiyuu, and she sounds surprisingly great. I mean, the song. The high-pitched voice sounds like any other Anime singer, seriously. (Audience: Wait, you talking about who again?) Oh, the song. Yes. I'm still thinking about it. Like, because it's 6 minutes long?

Next week brings... nothing. Which is good time for me to consider the bunch of releases that are on my hands, and also to find new songs. You'll just have to see how much I can churn up from the indie artists database haha

I guess that's it. I really have no mood to do this now because my mind is filled with playing games today. But then... oh yes, the plan. For now, I've signed up (literally, like, paid money) for a course in Android programming (hell yes) and let's see how much two months can get me to creating an app of my own. Also, I'll probably start this and also APoL from next week (yes, you heard it) as I try to finish up hopefully Chapter 16 by next week, fingers crossed. Also, you may have noticed I've not done anything to the blogs I had in the past, but I swear I did, and I shifted all the images to their new locations before Picasa Web Albums stop working (I don't know for you, but for me it's still fine), and my Google Photos profile looks ten times neater now. I cannot guarantee I've fixed everything, and I noticed Facebook embedded images will expire on my blog (Yes, it's funny enough) and that I'm still checking before deciding NEVER to post those P.S. things below again- (Audience: OH NO) Oh yes. Too bad then; looks like the fun is over haha

Wow, this one is long. Cya guys next week then, and until next week... hopefully I've progressed. And not, sleep all day. Even though that's what I like to do too.

[P.S.: In view that me possibly not posting any more images of cute girls her in the future, here's some Aoi-chan. *laughs* I maybe posting other random stuff though, I guess,

Next week? Kana-chan probably. She looks beautiful in her new artist profile but her new song isn't. Oops.]

[P.P.S.: For example, you know how you can connect a Chromecast and your PC to the same monitor? Ask me. All you need is a HDMI switcher, a CPU with HDMI graphic card that supports Digital Audio and 1x Chromecast. MUAHAHAHAHA]

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #17

Well, looks like I haven't been studying. And yes, I haven't. I mean, with this much stuff to read and watch who in the right mind would be studying for the exams which are happening next week?

Sh*t.

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2: And so the final season begins. Wait, the final season is now??
Anyways, the story. Okay, now many things make sense. It stems from Kayano who now is saved by Koro-sensei (what a surprise) with help from Nagisa (seriously the worst kiss scene ever), and yes, finally this octopus talks about his history. Well, apparently a surprise to me if not to you, he was a human before. Yes, he wasn't some alien. Which explains first, the reasons why there are solutions to kill the octopus, because he was "created" somewhere before, apparently cruelly through experiments as usual like any other Anime lol. Anyway, the turning point here is then who's the woman he's been with, and yes, as Kayano (I rather refer as her instead) mentioned it was the sister, who is married to the head scientist of this cruelty and who is also a teacher in that school with that evil principal Asano Gakushu. Less of that first, this latest episode focuses on the experiments did on the assassin-to-be, who got ripped by The Reaper, who took his name after getting his teacher arrested (nice plot there man), and landed in this situation. Which also explains how he (Koro-sensei of today) was supposed to be an infamous assassin whose name has been taken, and why there seems to be a misunderstood love scene at the start of this Anime series. Or maybe it's just me. Well for now, we know heck a lot of answers already so that's good news. And moving on, we'll know how someone actually with antimatter built in his body (or not), managed to destroy 70% of the moon. Man, I'm hyped.
Bungou Stray Dogs: Is that Gengar? So wait, there's Pokemon in this show? Man this is a good show.
Well it's reached the time I have to give this show or not, huh. Okay, this episode is a good one to talk about that then. This episode introduced the bad guys (duh) Port Mafia, which is evil as an organisation to do stuff around, and they have reason to attack the Agency. They also know of the weretiger, and are here to claim him for a bounty. Good thing Atsushi's on the good side (maybe not because of the money, but hey, it's not going to be his if he claims it anyway), and Dazai's here to stop everything. See? The ultimate trump card. Who apparently is tied to the good side now he has seen evil. Or power. Or supremacy. Whatever. Funny reviews online other places dislike the comedy on the start of the episode, but then it ties in well with the show to reveal the last part too. But I do agree to an extent that it's kind of irritating, that Tanezaki's sister Naomi, who apparently is drop dead if you still want to see her back filled with blood. (Don't worry, if you haven't seen Kara no Kyoukai you haven't seen worse haha) Nonetheless, I think this show can be a watch, but I would restrain myself from being pissed off if I don't like future "special powers" (as I shall call them now) from this episode on. I mean, there's Gengar, man.

Yes, sure I'll continue to watch this show. Even if it has only one cour this season and the other on two seasons later. No really, I don't blame production. Till now it has been a nice watch. If the author himself talks about not spoiling the show then this is how it can be done. (Professional reviewers don't scold me; I'm just a rookie like Atsushi~)
P.S. Now I want my sister to be Naomi-chan. Or maybe not. That'll make me a real sicko lol. Good job, Omigawa Chiaki-san. Your voice is one of a kind. *thinking back to Seitokai Yakuindomo*

漫画
MANGA
Kuroshitsuji: Hmm the ending is real intriguing, if I were to say. And yes, Ciel made it sound like he has to take care of it instead of the local enforcement authorities, but then why not? They may have found a way to get into this fiasco, whilst we get to see a glimpse of the mastermind behind all this. I mean, blood transfusion is a thing, but if it is a thing of progress at the expense of neglecting risks, then maybe not so much, huh. This is going well, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
P.S. FYI Bravat, if you haven't noticed, is that fortune teller who apparently is also an instructor?
BLEACH: Yes, kid Hitsugaya was better lol
Anyways, the story. So with his Bankai apparently he assumed himself (I guess, until now) that his power will wilt off the moment his "petals" go off but apparently not. Well, if it comes from the many extended training session did he notice he'd grown a dick (lol) then I guess so. Still, his powers are increased, and the power of ice is nothing compared to Rukia's Bankai, seriously. I mean, you freeze a giant within four seconds, and Rukia can't even do that. Not to say she cannot even move by then and has to "thaw off" after using it. Well, that comes from the strongest ice zanpakuto in the universe, and with the help of Zaraki (who is not dead yet) and Byakuya flashing his Senkei at the right time... man, this is awesome. I don't care what happens, but man am I glad to see new skills.
Bungou Stray Dogs: I must say the Anime stays quite faithfully to the original work... sort of. Certain things are extrapolated frontwards so facilitate understanding (like how the first joke from Dazai to Kunikida isn't stated as one), and certain are actually missing and the adaptation made up for it, with most of them just to make up time for those lengthy dialogues. Nonetheless, I would say it's good, in terms of adopting the original work, to following the story well. And after reading the first volume (which apparently only has four chapters which made up three episodes already) I think I'm pleased. That I watched the Bones animation before reading the Manga. I mean, it's better. So yeah, I'll be only continuing this probably after this season ends.
P.S. The typical coils of words in displaying of power is so typical, it reminds me of a lot of actions shows lol (And what's worse it's only in the Anime xD)

This Week on Klassic Note
This week brings a lot of releases, and I'm not joking. I just forgot lol. There's sphere's new single which I only gave the topic song, there's also the final giving of Mrs. GREEN APPLE's major debut album. I tried to listen to Gotch's recommendations on Twitter only to find out that he likes synthetic pop instrumentals and bands like OGRE YOU ASSHOLE, who you should know is releasing song I'm not listening already. Well, I mean, not in the last year too. Over the weekend I also took a listen to yanaginagi's new album, and maybe I don't have the mood to listen to it, but I can't seem to give any songs because they don't pass the bridge part of the song which has always been a challenge in Klassic Note. Oh well, there's another week to ponder about it, I guess. I mean, I have no mood to listen to new songs for a legitimate reason haha

Future releases (not including next week) are Miyawaki Shion's new mini-album which features the two ending theme songs for Anime Assassination Classroom and may likely have a chance to get on my shelf because I just got to listen to all of them, a month before official release lol. Luck Life (yeah, the band's name) don't seem to bad for their major debut single, and TrySail's new single and album are next month. Well, that may sound a lot, but thinking that I would reject a whole lot of them doesn't bode good for Klassic Note's future. Well, I'll be watching various artists for recommendations though, and I should have time to visit the usual sites for new songs soon... *sob*

... I want exams to be over. Good news is by next issue which if you will come back (you will, right?) I'll be liberated, and probably busy fixing blog posts from past years to rush for the closure of Picasa Web Albums next month. Bad news is, I'm still far from that, and dawning is the fate of my grades, so I better do something about that. Cya guys then, and until next time... the water flow physics in Cities Skylines is amazing...

[P.S.: Ayachi and her water gun was enough for the week. Please, make me both of us wet lol (???)

Next week is a scheduled Yuuki "always-young-and-cute" Aoi-chan, to motivate me further, yes?]
[P.P.S.: Somebody, please show me a scanned archive of Rumi-chan's photobook...
(Audience: Man, you are such a fanboy...) (On the contrary, I'm searching for pieces of art. *silence* Okay, maybe not haha)]

Friday 22 April 2016

It's typically not because we don't have questions, but because we don't know how to ask them.

Still thinking of questions to ask myself and the tutors. I mean, the next exam paper's in two days. *sob* Funny how teachers never teach students to ask questions. I mean, did you?

Tuesday 19 April 2016

I guess I'll never be happy since contribution means everything in this society.

Sorry, just ranting about life as usual. Or maybe I'm just unhappy. But thinking of it again, I guess people do it for money, huh. I shall too then. Soon.

The Entertainment News 2016 Edition Issue #16

Hey, it's another week. I have a feeling I said this last week. Oh well. (<= That too) But then again I should be studying for exams, not here... enjoying entertainment lolol

Anyways, let's get doing. First thing is...

アニメ
ANIME
Assassination Classroom S2:

Yeah I'm not wrong. It's not there. It's next week for the final arc.
Bungou Stray Dogs: Another episode. Hey, I'm impressed. By the animation, the characters, the story, everything. The story goes that this Atsushi-kun is given a chance to job at the Detective Agency (who surprisingly doesn't have an awesome name to it or something), and Dazai-stuck-in-a-oil-barrel-kun is here to give him said chance. The psychological mindf**king aside, Atsushi shows some instinct to save people around him, despite having a power of a were-tiger, apparently it's called. Nonetheless, this show is interesting, and I think I'll continue to watch it. We now know about half of the Agency, the President and that fake bomber included (which sister's voice sounds familiar but apparently I don't know her at all), and also the antagonist of the series. (I say "series" because this is Anime; I may be interested in the Manga though) This shall give some good insight to whether I want to continue watching this after all. The three-episode review thing. And yes, manifesting powers via writing is indeed awesome. He just... needs some hands to write it. And here I'm thinking so much about that fake bomber's identity lol
P.S. I know who the girl is. Remember Mitsuba from Seitokai Yakuindomo? You don't? Me too! Haha

漫画
MANGA
BLEACH: Oh no the kid is gone. No more fandom now lol
Okay, the story. Kenpachi has fallen, and yes Yachiru's bankai is apparently to assist someone (specifically Kenpachi here I guess) in releasing one's own spiritual power, and she seems to have overdone it, but then surprisingly is still far above that asshole of a Sternritter who wanted to mimic his powers lol. Anyways, Hitsugaya seems to be at his limit with his Bankai (recall the ice flowers breaking off), but yes Kubo we have not seen what happens when they all disappear, because you always make him fall to the ground. But not this time. As if they switched actors within like, a page of this chapter (lol), Hitsugaya surfaces with his Bankai with a mature human form?? This will be interesting, but then goes his child-like mode now. Oh well, can't wait to see what this can do to a God-like Sternritter.
P.S. Byakuya wants to do something about this right now? Standing there just watching...
Dagashi Kashi: Yes, since the Anime ended, I reminded myself to catch up with the Manga. Well, as far as it has been translated. And this week I finish Volume 2. Previously I finished the first one, but this one is full of Anime stuff, so I'll just mention of what is different. Choco baby isn't featured in the Anime, so is the process of Hotaru-san being fired by eating the products she promotes in the supermarket for her part-time job probably to finance her eating of the sweets lol. The Dad was a pain in the ass to make Kokonotsu eat sweets for dinner, and the stamp thing probably wins more than the Valentine's special colour page chapter where Hotaru-san hits a "home run" hard on the father haha. All that is good, but where's the next volume??
P.S. Kokonotsu-kun, I didn't notice but thanks for the tip. Sayashi is indeed about the legs. *tehe*
A Channel: It's been some time, huh. Anyways, the story. Nagi-chan brings her friends over to the parent-less house... sort of. The daughter-possessed father is at home and not leaving, so she gets worried lol. She is good at games, and we get to know a little of the others while she's not at it. That's all, I guess. (No it's not the end of the post yet lol)
Koufuku Graffiti: Finally someone picked it up like, last year, so this will be interesting. I saw something of Shiina-san with a confession? Man, I don't know what those people are posting about this Manga on Twitter, but I bet it's going to be good. I'm only on the first few chapters, and yes there are differences. Makoto-sensei's work has more details and background compared to the Anime itself (for example, how Kirin got fever because she's changing in and out of the trains with different temperatures), and yes it doesn't have the erotic-ness of eating compared to the adaptation. Hey, it's animation. What can I say? But I can say, the author's drawing is impeccable. So nice to watch, it feel as if I'm looking at those fake decorated food that are made to perfection. The comedy of the stories in the 4-panel manga stands out too, which makes it feel different in understanding compared to the show itself. I like it. I'll follow it till the end, provided the people doing the scans can too.

This Week on Klassic Note
Firstly, Rie fu's album got another song on my list, and that's pretty much it though. Then, there's Satomi-chan and her wonderful recommendation:
And yes, Mrs. GREEN APPLE is great!

But then again they feel like cinema staff and SPYAIR which I don't like a lot because it's too heavy rock music for my taste, so yeah. I'll probably still give a couple of songs from Mrs. GREEN APPLE's album this year though. And of course I know that the latest season of Yugi-oh Anime has awesome theme songs. Remember cinema staff? And Kuso Iinkai for end of this month too. But before that, I also took the weekend to give GRANRODEO's new single a listen, and the only reason I'll listen to rock written by people old enough to be my dad is for the Anime above. They do the opening theme song. And the ending theme song doesn't sound that good. I can't take any chances if I were to give this show.

Next week brings a whole lot of releases I don't know if I can list them all as fast as they can appear to disrupt my revision. So there's sphere's new single next week in conjunction with HoneyWorks...

Okay, I don't remember anything. Oh well. Surprise reveal next week then! I mean, not like you guys care about what I listen to anyway; I'll post it here eventually lol

This is it then. I'm done with the week. If you didn't notice how much sweat I took this afternoon to finish the largest review of Klassic Note to date, then you shouldn't torture yourself by reading them all. Really, I've got bad English. Cya guys next week, and until next time... I hope I won't be crying. I hope not. This week's paper is my most confident one. Fingers crossed.

[P.S.: I think I officially like Rumi-chan. A lot. Really.

Either I want to see her ****s, or stare at her- (Audience: SOMEBODY STOP THIS GUY!)]
[P.P.S.: I think I've also officially ran out of material. Time to dig up the archives! You guys like Hikada Rina??]

We can afford to waste money, but we cannot afford to waste resources.

I'm not a businessman or else I'll be reprimanded on this, but then again money is reproducible. Or is faster than any kind of resource. So yeah, start from not wasting food. I'm doing it for my dinner now. Later.

The Klassic Note Review 2016.04 Issue 2

This is going to be a long one, so don't complain if you cannot reach the bottom lol

Welcome back, to the longest review in Klassic Note yet. Before we start, I hope you guys know I do this because I love Ikimonogakari itself, and thus I am willing to do this review. But due to the time I'll need to do it all, the review shall be done separately with the package itself, which I will no doubt post it some other time after the panic period (*wink* Exams *wink*) is over. Until then, I have time to type, so I shall piece everything together slowly as I can. Hopefully this can be done by the end of the month. Fingers crossed.

Ikimonogakari - Cho Ikimonobakari ~Ten Nen Kinen Members' Best Selection~ [Album]
(In space suits? Not the first time I saw someone do this, but this is interesting. You know. Impressions.)

Origin: Wow. How should I start this...

...

Behold! The greatest pop group in Japan of the new millennium! They have been around for ten years, and yearly they have truly made an impact in Klassic Note. And to celebrate their ten years and their best album on my shelf, I shall do a full-on review of the whole album of 45 songs!! Yes! The Ikimonogakari bonanza is here! Get ready your ears, people! It's going to be an emotional roller coaster from here on!

How's that for an intro, huh? Awesome~

[NOTE: This review is on the Regular 3CD Edition (as stated above) and does not include CD4 which includes all the B-side songs in their singles and many more which if included I will not give this release. Also, I will reference to the released I have on my shelf and previous reviews as much as possible (ie. from 2014) as I talk about my impressions of them today.]

(Those with * before song titles are added to Klassic Note within this release. Songs not included in Klassic Note after this review are not included even though they can be subject to further reviews after this issue.)

===DISC 1===
(1) SAKURA [Cherry Blossoms]
(In case anyone doesn't get the title, you're welcome.)
What other good way to start the best album with this song? Recall this is their debut song, and yes it's a nice and simple one. Very different in feel compared to what they are singing today, but man, it brings back memories. Back then, when things are simple, to easy-listening, and so nice. Anyone will like this song once they hear it. Really. Definitely a good reason to keep listening to them provided I didn't start Klassic Note like, years later their debut.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Kimi ga Iru [You Are There]
This one, is probably one of my favourites. Also the first song (if I didn't remember wrongly) written by Kiyoe-chan herself. For once, the vocalist gets to write her own song. This song also brings a lot more of her works in later years, from which happened like five years ago. This is a lively song in itself, and the melody isn't anything to pick mistakes at all. At first impression as I recall years ago I definitely didn't hesitate to give this song the thumbs up. Furthermore, if you ever watched the music video you'll know this is one fanservice video just tailored for her. I even recall seeing it in my local cable television when they play the Japanese drama related to it, and actually sat down just to listening to the theme song at the end. Hey, it's that good.
Rating: 5 stars (Awesome)

(3) Kimagure Romantic [Whimsical Romantic]
This one starts a whole lot of legacy for me following them, seriously. It's not only just a romantic song, but more than just that. That lively melody itself is sure to draw me in, and that in the first year I actually listen to their songs, this one makes the year all the more awesome. (I'll talk about the other songs below) I also recall doing the hand gestures that well every time I watch the music video I instinctively have to do it. Those were the days, man. Where you truly enjoy the music and go with the flow of the music. Especially the harmonica; so iconic in this group it makes their song stand out. I may not understand lyrics much back then, but I liked it. And there's no hesitation to give it too.
Rating: 5 stars (Impressive)

(4) Akaneiro no Yakusoku [Madder Red Promise]
(Pardon me for the translation, because the colour can also mean 'under the red sun')
This song brings back memories. Back then when I was lost (I still am anyway, but) and I was sad. I didn't enjoy being in school. And this song hit me. Honestly, even when I am typing this I'm still tearing up. Ikimonogakari has a reputation of writing emotional songs, and in their early years they are very good at it. This one is one of those songs. The chorus hits the point of heartbreak, and especially when you understand the lyrics, you'll start thinking of things of love. Yeah. I shouldn't talk too much into it, but if you hear this you'll feel it. Trust me.
Rating: 4 stars (Far Above Average)

(5) Anata [You]
(In generic meaning it can mean a lot, including your other half, so I'll leave this as it is for now)
This one came in as a single-track release, which obviously means if I mention it here it must be on my shelf. Back then when they were still singing emotional songs, this one came out as simple, nostalgic, and warm in emotions. Not your everyday tear-dropping song, but it makes you think. And I like such songs; they bring so much meaning. The music video also shows many forms of relationships in order to portray the image of this song itself. I maybe a little deterred by the not-so-perfect chorus, but that didn't stop me from liking this song.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(6) *Kirari [Sparkling]
This song has some history in Klassic Note. And when I mean that it almost always means this song decision got through a journey. Back then in 2014 in their year-end album, I was deterred by the fact that this song was different in pace just in general, and that it doesn't sound like them and more like just tying up to the credited show behind it, which was the real-life movie of Anime "Ao Haru Ride". (If you don't know this show you have not watched Anime, and not that I know it too) But then time and time again as a well-produced song, and especially popular in their live performances, so I guess this is a good song. So for this best album I decided to give it. Just for the sake of it, and also because it really sounds good. I cannot deny it. And so shall you.
Rating: 4 stars (Not Just Average)

(7) Kaerita Kunatta yo [(I Am) Wanting To Go Home]
Funny up until now many songs above us are written by one of the two composers in this group (excluding Kiyoe the vocalist) Mizuno-kun. His style in recent years have always been alive and out-of-the-box with respect to the team, but then back when he was an emo freak (lol I guess not) he writes emotional songs too. This one is one of them, and it's good. So much so they got even an orchestra of strings to play behind them in their lives. Just the piano introduction makes you want to listen already. The grandness of this song is also exhibited early when the music video also starred a mini orchestra behind them. It's time to come back to 2008, where songs are perfect, and Kiyoe was young haha
Rating: 4 stars (Not Very Average At All)

(8) Futari [Two Of Us]
Man, this introduction gives me the goosebumps up until now. It gets better especially when Kiyoe sings this without any instrumentals, and if you have heard stuff from their lives, you'd believe what I said. This song back in 2009 was not a hit in Klassic Note (I know there are better songs out there, but) even though this song is surprisingly smooth in transition in terms of melody and lyrics. The loneliness shown in the music video of Kiyoe going on a journey helped deepen the impression if you ever need to. Overall this is a good song, but then again one can ignore the Tokyo wind, yes?
Rating: 4 stars (More Than Just To Sing Along Average)

(9) Koisuru Otome -Gekijou Hen-[Lady in Love -Passion Chapter-]
Yes, the words behind with the dashes in between just mean a different version of the original. But then again this song brings back memories too. It brings me to another album I gave them before this best album and after their first best album, and yes it's that album with just ballad songs. This one is one of them. Simple, romantic, and really feminine in nature, I guess. In this different version, the instrumentals are changed, but the overall melody didn't. It just feels different, that's all. Well, that's what happens if you extend a song that is already long, isn't it? Simple as it is, with complication of instrumentals mixed in still brings in an awesome tune.
Rating: 4 stars (Lovely Average)

(10) Namida ga Kieru Nara [If Tears (Were To) Disappear]
"[From Klassic Note Review 2014.10 Issue 2] ...what comes out of this song is the smoothness of Kiyoe’s voice, and with every other song you would’ve heard form them this is just perfect. Not to say about Kiyoe’s contributions in the group is increasing significantly in recent years. And as an active promoter of self-production of music, this just gets nicer. I’m not crying yet, though."
Yeah, not even today. I guess it's not for the weak-hearted, yes? But a team effort is a team effort, and when they all come together to write good songs who would stop them? But then again it isn't impressive enough, I guess. Simple, slow, quiet, and very nostalgic. Sounds like something you'd hear at the end of the day in a news show, yes? *wink*
Rating: 4 stars (Not Very Impressive Average)

(11) *Ikou [Let's Go]
Hey, new song at last! Yes, this is one of the new songs in the list. And just listening to it as a fan you know it's going to be good. The chorus makes of a lively mood, and is spread across the song itself. I like this song not because of the extended melodies here and there, but the chorus brings of a happy mood. And it's very reminiscent of their style in their early years, the straightforwardness and simplicity. Who doesn't like a happy song, yes? Let's go to listen to this fresh new melody!
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(12) Nakumonka [As If (I Will) Cry]
(I tried my best. I suck at Japanese, you know.)
This song starts the singing fast, but didn't make the decision process fast. This probably is about when they started changing their style of music, and this one feels different, to say the least. I liked the single back then because of the B-side, but this song also brings about a sad feeling, so I took it. Not much of a big impression on this one, but it's nice melodies then I have to take it.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(13) Kokoro no Hana wo Sakaseyou [(The) Heart Of (The) Flower Will Bloom]
Another of those songs which brought me (and my sis too probably) into listening to Ikimonogakari. The song is so iconic you sing the melody and someone must know it. It's so nice, so typical of their style (early years, as I say), and so awesome. I know I took some time to give it on their yearly album releases back then, but then this song is remembered by me even till today. It's not easy to sing it though, quite a lot of words in there. But then I learn it, and became good at it not long after. I still listen and sing to it sometimes, to be honest. It makes your heart blossom hehe
Rating: 4 stars (No Longer Just Average)

(14) Hoshi [Earth]
Why not this? Hey, the first song I have not given yet. I say "yet" for all the other songs on this list (exceptions apply) because of reasons. For this song, it apparently is popular in their lives, and the trio liked the song. It talks so much about the world, and I agree it's a good song. But then it has never got out of the zone in which I can have the mood to give it in any way, so I guess it shall be on hold for now. Probably also because of the song structure or the verses, but it probably also didn't hit me yet, so I guess... Until the next time I want to give it - or probably not - I will remember this song. The one that got away.
Rating: Not In List

*PANT* We're not even halfway yet. We must move on! lol

===DISC 2===
(1) Arigatou [Thank You]
The production on this song is fabulous, to start. Straightforwardness is their personality, and with such a deep music behind it, it sounds great. Easy to listen, easy to give. The music video shows of a stage performance if I didn't remember wrongly, and it's like the perfect chance to display the band itself. Although this has been used many times, it's a striking pose for this one because it's so formal. It's so clean. And again it makes me think a lot. You start the chorus and you'll remember to thank the people, I assure you.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(2) Joyful
Yay! Finally we're here! First best song of the list of 3CDs worth of songs. If you know Ikimonogakari and don't know this song you clearly don't like them. For this is their best attempt yet for a party song, and ignoring the lyrics (which probably also made no much sense anyway), this (and YELL, which I will talk about below) became one of the best songs they have to offer, with Mizuno-kun doing the lively and Hotaka doing the emotional. This one, is short, is catchy, is everything but not appetising as a song, seriously. Need I say more?
Rating: 5 stars (Unforgettable)

(3) Blue Bird
And you thought Kirari from the first CD had a history. This one started when Klassic Note started, and has NEVER been given even till today. Why? The melody itself didn't catch my attention back then, and it will never now and in the future. Don't ask me why if you liked this song, but I didn't like it. The chorus was passable, and everything else was not worth remembering. Thus why it's still not in my list. It was like this in 2008, and it is even till today. I gave plenty of chances, but it never flew into me.
Rating: Not In List

(4) Itsudatte Bokura wa [Always We Are]
This one started my year of 2012, and yes it's a great song. This was also under those songs which represented a change of style in the group, specifically the melody. It's a little lengthy, but it's a catchy tune. It rings in me even till now, and I like it a lot. The music video also introduces the infamous hand-clapping before the start of the chorus, and I still remember when to clap, serious. The chorus is surprisingly lovely, and just listening to this for chorus once again isn't bad at all.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(5) *Tsubasa [Wings]
Another song by Hotaka, this new song brings back memories of his style of music. In recent years he has been reluctant to write songs for the band and it has caught up. This one is a good example of how good he can write, and I like his style more and it symbolises more of the group itself, I guess. For this song, the chorus maybe a little song, but it's very reminiscent of their usual style. Just, a little long for the melody, I guess.
Rating: 4 stars (Newly Average)

(6) Aruite Ikou [Let's Walk]
This aligns with the change in style of melodies real well. I had a hard time giving this song, but then it's catchy in its lyrics which makes me possible to give this song back in 2011 when they weren't releasing as much songs as they are in the early years back before 2009. But still, this is a nice tune to listen to, and has gained popularity of its fans for many years. A song that can stay must be good song, don't you think?
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(7) YELL
This. Remember "Joyful" above? Yes. This is the other song that became a hit. So much a hit it got adapted to a Chinese song at some point. (Not that I like that version of it anyway, but) It's this good. And yes, again, if you're the guy who stands at a corner seeing others tear up to this song, then you should just leave. This song also didn't hit me as much at first back in 2009, but this is a nice song. And in Klassic Note, you cannot not give nice songs. The bridge part maybe a little lengthy, but the guys singing along in this part really makes a difference too, and it gets better when we all sing along. Great song, isn't it? Really makes me wonder why they don't want to venture out of the country with this much song popularity.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average It Stands Out)

(8) GOLDEN GIRL
This, along with "Kimi ga Iru", are easy to identify as of Kiyoe's style easily because they sound very similar. But compared to the other song, this one didn't come as impressive to me at first. But then I still liked it a lot, and it ranked in 6th in Klassic Note 2014 if I didn't remember wrongly. The music video is very similar of the music itself as it displays the feminine vibe of the song, and it sounds great in general. Definitely a must-listen if you think Kiyoe can write good songs every once in a while. I feel like I can dance to this music, seriously.
Rating: 4 stars (Nicely Average)

(9) Good Morning
This came out in their 2nd album, and also one of those I didn't give in first impression, not even till date. For simple reasons, it didn't catch up too much onto me, so I just didn't give it. Not particular in the case of any part of the song, but in general the feel of the song is a lot of their early stage style that I didn't listen to, which will explain a lot of songs later which I didn't give too.
Rating: Not In List

(10) *Sweet! Sweet! Music!
For the best album and in the first ever live broadcast via LINE (my sis and I tuned in to it, you bet) they revealed their first ever music video to the world, and first for the album too, other than those that are in the album which I will mention below. Also, this is also very reminiscent of Mizuno-kun's style as usual, so it's an easy song to give if you liked his way of writing songs. I like it, and you should too. It's some sweet music to dance too here, man.
Rating: 4 stars (Sweetly Average)

(11) 1 2 3 ~Koi ga Hajimaru~ [1 2 3 ~Love Starts~]
Back in 2013 this song had a simple intention of just doing a romance song, and it delivered. If you count the numbers you'll already know how to sing this song's chorus already. I liked this particular release (along with the B-side "Ashita no Sora") particularly that it brings back so much of their lively style of pop music I know and love. It may not be perfect, but hey, at least it's awesome!
Rating: 4 stars (Definitely Above Average)

(12) *Tokyo
This comes in a long line of songs that Kiyoe wrote that I hesitated to give the moment I listen to it. It doesn't happen a lot of times, but this one hits he the wrong way hard. I mean, yeah YUI has that same title too but Tokyo - the capital of Japan - means a lot to Japanese. Knowing that, then giving this song becomes a lot more easier. But it still took some time, especially the chorus, to get over it, I don't know why. But then, it's in the list. It's under appreciated in Klassic Note ever since I heard it back in 2014, and I should give her due chance for this one.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(13) Koiuta [Love (Song)]
This one? Too festival already. Also, later another song too. I'm not a fan of broadway songs in general, and this one literally made me keep a distance to it. Many other songs in their albums not in this list also resemble this style, and I never see them on my list. So this one should also not too. I'm not that daring to explore a part of the band I'm not interested in. The melody is good though.

(14) Netsujou no Spectrum [Spectrum Of Passion]
"[From The Klassic Note Review 2014.10 Issue 2] ...it’s a great upbeat song, sure to keep you guys listening due to a catchy chorus. The music video features the trio “in black and white for the first time” and I guess that’s a first. Looks cool though, I must say. Just your average Ikimono song well packaged."
Hey, this song. Ignoring the Naruto Anime tie in, this song is surprisingly good. With power, and with a catchy tune. Why not? The question is asked again, and I gave the song. It's good, in a nutshell.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(15) *My Stage
This is the latest to come into Klassic Note. I gave it because of the general melody. It's smooth, and it's nice to listen to. Ignoring the lyrics which may suggest sadness or expression of feelings for being on stage or even as themselves as an artist, but then again here in Klassic Note I focus on melody, and that's what's important. This song is too good to not give it.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(16) *Ai ni Iku yo [(Let's) Go To Meet]
Ah, this one. I gave it midway through this review season because it stuck in my mind. The chorus. And yes, overall the song is good, and I have no complaints besides the usual bridge part of the song. Other than that, this song is rather addictive, I must say.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

===DISC 3===
(1) Kaze ga Fuite Iru [(The) Wind Is Blowing]
Wow this one. Probably the most conflicting song of this album already, I must say. I'm between not giving this song and not being able to not give this song for some time even after listening to this seriously long song, which if you can recall, is used as the Olympics theme song in Japan at some point in the year 2012. Simple as it is, it's real lengthy. That is what irritates me till now. I've been in many regrets in Klassic Note, and this one is a struggle.
P.S. Mizuno-kun is the kind of guy that if he has to squeeze out a haphazard song he will do it lol
Rating: 4 stars (Below Average)

(2) Warattetainda [(I) Want To Laugh]
This song lies along with those couple of songs in 2011 as a change in style, well at least in my opinion, and this one ends that era. This one brings back the irresistible style of the group, and making it good again. Lively and happy must be the topic of this song, with much hope and them in white as shown in the music video. This along with the release itself (the single) is a good revival of the group in terms of style, and I remember liking this song very much.
Rating:4 stars (Above Average)

(3) Love Song wa Tomaranai yo [Unstoppable Love Song]
"[From The Klassic Note Review 2014.07 Issue 1] Romantic and straightforward, this song brings a direct message, if you ever think of what song to serenade to your partner. Hearing them with a new single is just great, and I'm so prepared, or to say I've already took out my wallet for their single already."
That standard love song everyone including myself is searching for. Really, if my future partner doesn't like this song we can start talking about breakup lol. Seriously, this is straightforward and nice, and beautiful, and so irresistible that it must be tested on some couple. Really, I like Ikimonogakari. I said it here, Mizuno-kun.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(4) NEW WORLD MUSIC
Along with "Warattetainda" are together to bring back (in my opinion) the style that is so Ikimonogakari, and this has done it. This is reminiscent of the lively style they have, and that quirky song they will sing as if it was back in 2009 when they sung "Joyful". Very special melody in itself, and if you ever watched Kalafina (oops other references) sing their version of this song you'll be impressed how much this song can go. It's real fresh, and real intriguing to hear, as if it were really, a new world music. (And yes, it's not festival. I repeat.)
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(5) Uruwashiki Hito [Beautiful Person]
(Here it refers to a handsome guy, but that maybe too general to put down I guess)
This is one of those classic early stage music styles they have developed, and this one is cutely wonderful to listen. Back then when there weren't crazy love songs to sing to, there was crazy harmonica lol. But seriously, the lyrics maybe a mouthful, but the melody is very strong and fast-paced, which makes of a happy and light romance song.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(6) Natsuzora Graffiti [Summer Sky Graffiti]
And again, referencing to the previous song, this is one of those songs. Back then when there wasn't "Joyful", there's the best summer song of all time. Really, in 2008, this is the best song to listen under the sun. I enjoyed it so much, I listen to it so many times, I can say the least. It suffers from the usual bridge part structure, but then again who cares? It's a song to sing in summer, and I sang it. That, is Klassic Note in essence.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(7) KISS KISS BANG BANG
Oh yeah the bang song lol. Okay, jokes aside, this song came as a surprise in their album "NEWTRAL" back in 2012 to me. Not that I don't believe they won't put up a song title like that, but even the song itself - and to a further extent, the music video - is also being suggestive of such a style of music and meaning in lyrics. So straightforward are its lyrics, it's very attractive. Especially with Kiyoe on the helm, she literally is a revived Venus. I swear if I were ten years older around her age...
P.S. I found it. The fanservice music video post. Don't mind the SCANDAL girls below lol
Rating: 4 stars (Lovingly Average)

(8) Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi [Flowers Are Cherry Blossoms, You Are Beautiful]
Well well, this song. The dramatic change between just piano solo and the interludes are amazing. That to say, I've heard a lot of such songs, and am as fan of it, but Ikimonogakari singing them I have no heard of. That is back in 2009 of course. But today, I still admit I like this song. The fast-paced tempo and some nostalgic lyrics make of a complete song, this one.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(9) Planetarium
Back in 2008, I had many favourite songs. This one turns out to be so dreamy, I'd rather live in it forever. The music video helps paint a scene of a kid dreaming of the vast world she is in, and the band bringing her along with it. Much like a dream, isn't it? This also changed my impression of the band, being able to create such a song. I grew my belief in them, and this song is also a good reason why I've been listening to them till now. I want more of this, yes?
Rating: 4 stars (Above Above Average)

(10) LIFE
The last song I'd expect to appear on this best album. But then again, what is to blame? From the latest album back in 2014, this song came in immediately as a good song, a song of their style, even though it's a song of sadness. And it totally caught my attention, so what's more to ask? This song is just good in itself. If you need a slow ballad after that album released in 2012, here you go.

(11) Love to Peace! [Love And Peace]
"[From The Klassic Note Review 2015.11 Issue 1] This lively melody brings up a lot more than love and peace ... this song is nice to hear, and after hearing such a style many times I'm fine with it. It may not to you, but this retro-modern pop feel sure makes of a good song to dance to."
Quirky as it may sound, but Mizuno-kun loves to write such songs, and I understand why. Furthermore, I like it, so I guess I won't complain much as a fan. But if you need an impression, then this may not be a choice. The music video will make you think this song is a train wreck, so just listen to the song to see if you can take a liking to it.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

(12) Manatsu Elegy [Midsummer Elegy]
"Not in list". Can I not comment on this one? I guess not, huh. This one is even more unaligned than the other song which I talked about being broadway. But this one is not, it's just... not good. But it does give that feel, and for their first attempts for doing such a style in early years sure is not a good sign, huh.
Rating: Not In List

(13) Egao [Smiling Face]
Hey, this is a good song. Simple, straightforward, and you think I'm using the same words again. But then again, that's what they excel in creating in terms of the mood, and this one is along the list of great songs. So great, it's a Pokemon movie theme song in Japan. The music video enforces the impression by showing us a whole lot of faces, of course including the trio. Man, if this song doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will already. *smiles*
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(14) Mudai ~Tooku e~ -No Fade Out ver.- [Dream ~Far Away~]
"[From The Klassic Note Review 2015.11 Issue 1] This one, obviously, is done by Hotaka, the other composer guy in the group who specialises in writing touching and emotional songs, and this is no exception. Standing in between touching and emotional, this motivational song asks us to pursue our dreams, and this is indeed a song that I want at this time of the year, clearly. Anyways, this one definitely is a listen even if you're not a fan, because I like it. Purely because of this reason I listen to these people."
Ah, another special version. This one is from last year's single, and yes the quote above is perfection. Besides that, the extended version in this best album just doesn't end the song in a fade, which means the song feels longer and has a lot more of the nice instrumental I hoped for too. Glad they made such a extended version in the first place, the song aside.
Rating: 4 stars (Above Average)

(15) *Bokura no Yume [Our Dream]
Hey a new song at the end! Who would have thought? Okay, the only good reason I can think of giving this song is probably after I watched the music video, as mentioned below. Other than that, I can accept an average long typical pop style song from them again. I've been giving chances, and this song I cannot miss. Even if the "baby" thing is irritating and it doesn't mean Kiyoe or anything lol. The music video portrays their journey along these years of music though, so I'll take that as an impression.
Rating: 4 stars (Average)

Conclusion: This is for you, Ikimonogakari. For your ten years, and for my nine. You guys help me define J-Pop, and it's a pity you aren't doing live tours all over the world right now. Nonetheless, this compilation is not for all but the ultimate fan (I mean, their first best album isn't on my shelf), but I consider myself a fan. And a supporter for this wonderful pop team. It likely falls short of repetition considering they've been releasing albums more often than ever and turning week in recent years, but still their spirit for music did not fade. If you like a representation of pop music in Japan, there you go. They represent the sad and emotional, and sometimes lively - believe me on that.

This is it. Three hours worth of comments are going to leave me speechless for the rest of the week now. Good because starting tomorrow I better start my exam revisions, seriously. But hey, for Ikimono-san, I'll gladly support them with a best album. To everyone at Ikimonogakari, good job!
(いきものがかりのみんなさん、ごくろさま!)
